Tan Dun: Violin Concertos – New CD Release with the Oslo Philharmonic featuring Eldbjørg Hemsing, Violinist

We are excited to share with you the release of Tan Dun’s latest CD of violin concertos, including his newest composition, Fire Ritual – a music ritual for the Victims of War.

“The piece is centered on the note ‘re’ of the solfege scale- calling for the REturn of souls and the REbirth of all victims of war so that they may RElive another life, and love once more.” – Tan Dun

Tan Dun and Eldbjørg created this special video for a preview of the creation and recording process.

The recording in collaboration with the Oslo Philharmonic and BIS Records is available for purchase exclusively on Apple Music and iTunes.
