For example, I have my account logged in on my phone and he also has my account logged in on his phone.
He got banned from Shadow Fight arena for doing the story mode trick I believe. He started out new and very disliked the new player progression system to begin with so he already has a pretty bad first impression. Though the new shard system is out, he told me that he isn't really too interested or motivated enough to try it.
I'd like to try and revive his spirit since at a time, he did enjoy some of the fighting aspects of the game. So I'd like to share my pretty decked out account with him.
I'd really like to have a different game that we can conveniently play on our phones instead of Clash Royale 2v2 all the time.

So about 2 years ago, console xenoverse received a new update that included a terms of service statement that almost got rid of scummy modders from the online lobby. This ToS update appeared to force all users to agree with the change of policy in order to access the online lobby. If you pressed yes, and had mods you were locked out of the lobby. It didn't matter what mods, all of those players got locked out. During that 24- hour period, all the scummy modders were furious that the game cared enough to fix their nonsense. However, this Tos update had 1 flaw. The players did not have to agree to anything on to go online. So all the modders realized this, and went back to decline the ToS statement.

HOW TO AVOID THE XV2 MODDER BAN WAVE - YouTube For years, I hoped Bandai would realize this flaw and fix the issue. All it would take based on that previous flaw, would be to force users to either agree to play online or decline and you can't go online. Since this would affectly allow players with no harmful cosmetics to keep their stuff, but completely purge the scummy ones from ruining the online experience.
One notable change from then to now is how the game has included a small anti-modding folder. This is what has kept modders from using God mode, complete Ultra instinct, marbling drop, etc. Basically this folder contains moves, effects, and passives players should not have access to. This alone has toned down the destruction modders, but they have found ways around it by exploiting certain things that are also available to players.
Here we are in the present day. The new Beast form update has brought a new Tos statement. This one appears to not be declineable. So i ask for everyone that still plays the game. Have you seen the frequent modders that plagued the ranked rooms, or pranced around the lobbies with Giant form namekians? If not, then I think the latest ToS statement fixed their previous flaw.

Bondrewd Has Likely Disassembled Entities Similar to Reg in the Past
Consider this quote from him regarding Reg's dissection:

In addition to him calling Reg "unprecedented" recall how in awe he (i.e. all the Umbra Hands in Bondrewd mode) was when examining Reg's human-like features. He even pondered whether he could use the Soul Slave Machine on him:
\"If it has a mind, shall we attempt it\" is very likely referring to turning Reg into one of Bon's soul slaves Another instance of Bondrewd alluding to wanting to make Reg an Umbra Hand If it's the case that out of all the entities akin to Reg Bon has disassembled (assuming he has done so), that only Reg would peak his interest with respect to making him into an Umbra Hand, I think it would nicely support the proposition that this is his first encounter with a "true resident."
So what were these entities that Bon has grouped Reg into?
Bondrewd Is Responsible for Destroying the Interference Units
These entities I was referring to are most likely the upper layer interference units. Recall this line from Gaburoon:

- Spawn at Grim Hex and retrieve your Drake Vulture salvage ship.
- Obtain two low-tier delivery missions in the ‘Crusader Region’ ← [much faster] and use the delivery boxes as beacons to mark the location of the salvaging site.
NOTE\* While doing the delivery missions, retrieve a HoverQuad as a ground vehicle.
- Head off with your Vulture to your chosen salvaging location, such as the Halo Belt.
- Once you find your first lot of wrecks, respawn (using the backspace key) ensuring that you have a cargo ship ready to retrieve back at Grim Hex or your starting location.
- Retrieve the cargo ship and head off to the same point in the belt where your Vulture awaits. Having made a note earlier on of the vulture’s starting point and distance travelled will make it easy to track down the beacons on the Vulture.
- When arriving in the Cargo Ship, Take the HoverQuad out of the Vulture for room to move around and commence salvaging. Also grab one of the delivery boxes and put into the Cargo Ship. You switch between the missions if you did two missions to get two boxes to see the different beacons.
Transfer the salvaged materials from the Vulture to the Cargo ship, being mindful of finding a sweet spot between the Vulture and Cargo Ship cargo grid to prevent loose boxes from flying off into space. It is recommended to use a cargo ship where any loose boxes do not fly off into space, such as the Connie.
- Once the wrecks in the area have been fully salvaged, put the HoverQuad back into the Vulture and head off to find more wrecks. Once found, grab the HoverQuad and head back to the cargo ship, store it, and bring the cargo ship back over to the Vulture. Rinse and repeat.
- This method involves using the delivery boxes as beacons to mark the location of the salvaging site, with the Vulture always left at the salvage site, and the other beacon in the cargo at the first lot of wrecks when the cargo ship arrives on scene. The HoverQuad is primarily used to go back and forth between the Cargo ship and Vulture. _____________ ____ _

Note: This method is recommended only for solo players who are willing to invest a lot of time in multiple salvage runs using the Drake Vulture. It can be a risky business, given the frequent game crashes in version 3.18. However, it can be fun and very rewarding when it pays off. By not having to leave large finds, this system is ideal for taking full advantage of those large discoveries. The longer you stay out, the more time you save by reducing the amount of back and forth you have to make, especially when selling on a planet. Note that logging out of bed is not recommended for this playstyle. If you’ve been doing long sessions with up to 24 box loads in your Vulture (23 with one in the processing chamber), you might appreciate the challenge of bringing back 100 or so boxes. It is advisable to use a Caterpillar or a C2 Hercules for this purpose. However, if you want to test this approach, you can use your Corsair, which equates to about 3 back and forth of your usual 24 Vulture load. You don't need the HoverQuad in the Cargo Ship on the last run. Overall, this method is more about taking advantage of the finds, as not having to do a double search saves a lot of time. Additionally, note that the penalty at Grim Hex stats will take a hit once you start bringing back large quantities.

That stun feels like an eternity. By the time it wears off your as good as dead. A level 1 buzz can stun you, close the gap between you, and do over 6,000 damage before you can even get your first hit in.
In my opinion, stunning is one of the most overpowered techniques in the game and Buzz’s super has no downsides to counteract how powerful it is.
For example, Dynamike’s stunning is limited to a 3-use gadget and requires some good aiming/timing, and Frank’s stunning super gives you ample time to dodge, doesn’t reach very far, and can’t be immediately followed up by attacks since Frank’s attack speed/range is so low.
Instead of any nerfs to make the stun less powerful, Buzz’s stun lets him teleport right next to you and take full advantage of his fast attack speed blitz you before you can move.
In modes like showdown I feel like not even bothering to play when I see a Buzz in the starting screen cause I know I’m not winning unless they’re a horrible player or I catch them off guard.
Do you guys feel the same or is there just some technique to fighting him that I don’t know?

Just finished chapter 35. I see why people are mad with it. It's very out of place and i think suddenly giving credit to captains after all this time is kinda weird (cmiiw but wasn't the captains are not necessarily canon? captain-verse are mostly in events and i don't remember the time it ever been a canon within honkai universe but i might missed something, idk i don't have really good memory). Also big ai-chan is also out of place. I'm wondering if the decision to do finale like this actually connected to last event with big ai-chan debut. But if i think about it as a celebration of honkai as a franchise, i'm fine with it. Although my time is rather short in this game compared to the more veteran day 1 players, i appreciate them rehashing the story again. You know what? it's actually kinda in brand for "anime" games to absolutely drop the ball at the ending. I just need to appreciate the journey more than the end story i guess?

2023.03.25 07:39 Fassarh Investigations into the White Star Match Making System with Real Data (plus a deep-dive into some fundamental problems facing the WS reward system)
TLDR: I've attached a paper and some data that we collected in 2021 to better understand how the WS match making system works. Please read, share, and expand on this information. The aim of sharing this information is to help de-mystify and de-bunk the criticisms that the WS match making system is broken, and full of mis-matched games - this isn't completely true. Instead, the data shows that the majority of matches are between teams that are within +/- 20-25% of each other's WS score. I think this is quite reasonable, given the small size of our community. Currently there is a lot of negative chatter and feedback on HSO about the future of WS in the Dark Nebula update, and one factor that is the mis-understanding of how the match maker system works and the perception that White Stars are rife with mis-matched games. Hopefully this information debunks some of those beliefs and helps give Andreas some breathing space to develop and devote time to the new iteration of White Stars. Hopefully this leads to more informed discussions about how to improve what I, and many others, believe is the ultimate game mode: White Stars.

Hey folks,
This is Arcturus from the Dark Skai Alliance, I'm a scientist and engineer. Back in early 2021 we collected a lot of data about the White Star Match Maker (WSMM) system so that we could make more informed decisions about how we constructed our WS teams, what tech we focused on, and how we levelled our Flagship. Based on the data, we were able to set-up some pretty good correlations and investigate how the WSMM system (possibly) worked.
We were a lot more active back then, but the surge in gaming activity caused by the pandemic has eased, and it has become harder and harder to maintain high levels of WS participation. Like many corps, we've scaled back from two active 15v15 matches per week (casual and competitive) to just two 5v5 matches per week. But our most veteran members still remain active, and we are eagerly awaiting the new and improved White Star experience coming via the Dark Nebula, and hoping for the associated boost in membership and WS activity that will hopefully follow.
So, a lot of things have changed since 2021, and many more things will change when Dark Nebula launches, and I think it's not worth keeping this data private anymore. So, I have attached a short paper we wrote in February 2021 discussing how the WSMM system (possibly) works, along with the data that was used to build the correlations for others to form their own opinion.
A major catalyst for this sharing of information is recent discussions on the official HSO Discord. I see a lot of negative feedback claiming things like the WS match-maker is broken, the majority of matches are loss farms or mis-matches, the WS game mode isn't popular or isn't accessible etc, etc, etc. I feel like this negative feedback is slowly wearing the developer's patience thin, and this has contributed to the removal of the "WS Reward Incentive System" from Dark Nebula (the damage bar, and scaling rewards etc).
While the current reward system certainly isn't perfect, it does give passionate players and leaders a strong system around which they can build a strong, active community, as well as attract and retain new players - a good group of leaders and veterans can coordinate more successful WS missions and achieve higher growth rates for their members. The WS reward system is also a fine balancing act - if the reward is too significant, it again incentivizes the unhealthy 24/7 WS player activity, which I think the community is tired of. There is a lot of nostalgia for the original "turn-based" or "play-by-mail" style of gameplay that WS was supposed to embody (but got wrecked when players unlocked the highest level modules).
My theory is that the original launch of Hades Star in March 2017 was "nearly perfect" with Yellow Stars
clearly representing credit generation, and Red Stars
clearly representing technology development... White Star was added to the game about 8 months later in November 2017, and a fairly
vague reward system involving relics was added to make corporations relevant. About 11 months later in December 2018, Blue Stars were added and again had a fairly
vague reward system of Blue Shards for powering up the new Shipment Relay station - but the Shipment Relay was never really that useful because more credits were produced by shipping manually... The important point I want to make here is that YS and RS had a
clear design goal, while BLS and WS had a more
vague design goal, with the intention that future updates could flesh out these game modes more properly. In hindsight, I think the game modes were not fleshed out properly when they were added, and the challenges we are facing now in Dark Nebula with the new reward systems are a direct consequence of that... Let me elaborate...
The biggest problem that Blue Stars introduced was the daily credit reward for winning Blue Stars. This reward made the Blue Star Shards almost irrelevant, and the credits awarded for winning Blue Stars began to over-lap too much with Yellow Star income production. This set a precedent (and an expectation) that other game modes should also generate credits as part of the reward...
The developers realized that credit rewards were an effective method to moderate player activity across game modes. They saw that White Star participation was low, and (thankfully) wanted to increase participation in this game mode, so in May 2019 (5 months after BLS was released) they improved the credit rewards for White Star, and introduced the Damage Bar, and tiered rewards based on win/loss and 5v, 10v, 15v gameplay that we all recognize today... This was supposed to incentivize players to participate in WS more often...
Now Red Star was in trouble... In September 2018, artifacts were instanced, and this made artifacts much easier to collect without worrying about griefing. The strongest players would join Discord groups and organize RS teams that were super-effective at collecting artifacts. The average player couldn't keep up, and it was easier to trade low-level artifacts for 20% bonus artifacts collected by the top players. This made top-players super rich, and gave them and incentive to create multiple accounts so they could farm 20% artifacts endlessly and get even richer. So in May 2020 croids were added to encourage players (who weren't on discord or part of highly active corps) to still to run public RS missions. More encouragement for public RS missions was introduced in June 2021 with the ability to join already active public red stars. As a side note - players who did not follow the strict RS meta (barrage, barrier, mass batt etc.) were at a major disadvantage, and the new public RS at least gave them a way to keep progressing outside of the major corporations and Discord groups.
Now the developers had introduced reward systems to all of the optional game modes (WS, BLS, and RS) which ensured players would be active in every star type. The problem now was that there was a huge amount of content that players had to participate in daily in order to maximise their daily rewards, and so the game became unhealthy to play, and people started to leave so that Hades Star did not affect their work-life balance.
So now I hope I have shed some light on what I
think is the core issues are, and why we are seeing less support, and lower rewards for the White Star game mode... What does the rest of the community think about these issues, and how can we make Dark Nebula an even better game than Hades Star once was? Do we think the WS match making system is fundamentally flawed? Or is it acceptable? How can WS still exist as a major game-mode in the Dark Nebula expansion?

My personal opinion is that the purpose of YS, RS, BLS, and WS has become too "blurred".
Credit generation has become too much of a focus in all of the game modes, and only RS has presented a viable reward system that encourages players to be active, without dangling a "credit reward carrot" in front of them (Artifacts and technology advancement). My personal belief is that a player-controlled economy would be a better solution to the "credit reward carrot" system that exists in HS currently. I am suggesting that Artifacts, Blue Star Shards, and White Star Relics should all be a tradable resource, and should all have a relevant function in the game - Specifically; Blue Star Shards and White Star Relics do not have a proper in-game purpose, and so the game needs to rely on credit rewards as a system to incentivize gameplay across all game-modes...
This is a major flaw, and is the root-cause of the majority of the problems in the game... Andreas' blog posts have identified that there are flaws, but I don't think the changes in Dark Nebula are completely addressing the root-cause which is credit rewards across EVERY game mode... I don't blame Andreas for these mistakes, Hades Star is a highly experimental game, and none of these problems could have been envisaged at the start...
If we are going to move away from the credit-based reward system for WS, then we should do it completely across all game modes and move towards a more player-controlled economy, where the supply-and-demand of Artifacts, Blue Star Shards, and White Star Relics dictates the amount of activity players spend in each star type... Removing credit rewards from White Stars is a step-forward in this direction, but the problem will still remain if BLS and RS award credits still exist in Dark Nebula...
P.S. I know this question will be asked; how does the Flag Ship level influence the match maker? I can only comment based on the data we collected in 2021, but if I remove the WS score of the flagship from the correlation, I get almost the same R-squared value... So the data we have so far cannot confirm or refute whether the flagship has an impact...
