2023.06.04 17:01 tfmwzk AMD Latest Drivers makes my game laggy

In a short way, a few months ago I updated my AMD drivers, from 22.11.2 to the latest version, so after that some games (I noticed it just happened with newer games) they started lagging after a few minutes in the game, they could go from 120fps to 20fps and stay capped just right there, they wouldn't go lower or higher. So I just rolled back to 22.11.2 and problem solved, I tried contacting With amd support but the help wasn't good, that's why I stayed with older drivers.
Recently I had issues with AMD Adrenaline Software where the "Stream and Record" (and other options) tab was disappearing everytime I restarted my PC, so I once again contacted with amd support and told me to upgrade to newer drivers again, so I did. Currently I am with 23.5.2 drivers and AMD Adrenaline Software is working just fine, but guess what.. the fps lagging on games problem persist on most games. Any solution?
PD: I already told AMD Support about this new issue, again, but I don't have any hope on it, so i hope you could help me with something.
Specs: AMD R5 3600, RX 5500XT, 16GB Ram. ASRock A320M/ac (bios updated)

2023.06.04 15:48 anayonkars How legit are Togaf 9.2 practice tests?

I'm going for Togaf 9.2 combined exam. From Togaf specs, I've digested the first 3 parts (intro, ADM, ADM techniques & guidelines) and going through the remaining 3 parts (content framework, enterprise continuum & capability framework).
However, since my exam is coming up next week, I decided to go through Togaf 9.2 practice tests (official), and below is my score:
Part 1 - 30/40 (passing score is 22)
Part 2 - 36/40 (passing score is 24)
Frankly, I'm a bit surprised (especially about part 2) - IMO both scores are way above my expectation. So the question is - should I trust this score? According to this score, it seems I'm ready for the exam (of course, I'm not gonna sit idle during the upcoming week).

2023.06.04 14:18 Hot-Space-6403 Low fps after I play one match of cricket 22

Hey guys! I don't understand this weird interaction that's going on. Whenever I play 1 game of the game Cricket 22 and that game runs completely standard it all of a sudden drops fps in the second game. Now I was monitoring stats through MSI afterburner and found out that at 70-80% GPU usage and around 2100-2200 MHz of GPU clock being used would make the game play great. In the second game the GPU all of a sudden goes to 99% being used and 2500mhz of GPU clock, but with the performance being halved, even If I lower the settings it still stays at 50 fps max. It has been happening to a lesser extent in Dota 2 too. I've tried fixes like disabling ulps, raising the min frequency, using RSR, installing the latest bios, and everything I could find. Tinkering with Windows stuff. Nothing seems to fix this. My PC specs: i5-10400F 2400mhz 8x2gb of Ram rx 6600 gigabyte Dual monitor setup one having a dp port other HDMI. (I play on the DP port) Bios latest for b460 hd3 Gigabyte Motherboard Please help me regarding this I will appreciate <3

pretty much all the code in my project is identical to his, yet my nav bar doesn't render - it also shows no errors so it's harder to troubleshoot

2023.06.04 07:22 TheOneWhoSendsLetter Problems with reportlab library

Started using reportlab this weekend, but some of the libraries listed in their used guide are not available.
After using pip install reportlab, I don't see the libraries pdfgen or pdfbase. I ran dir(reportlab) and all I get is this:

2023.06.04 04:29 Rokett Get at least 32GB ram for M1 and M2

I recently traded my 16-inch M2 Pro with 16 GB for an M1 Max with 64 GB. It's true that these M machines manage RAM usage very well, but I have just started to see their true potential. On paper, the M2 Pro and M1 Max are about the same, and the difference in benchmarks won't change the performance this much.
I am a software developer, and 16 GB was sufficient for running a few VS code windows and browser tabs. I never had any issues, but something didn't feel right. The overall experience with the M2 and 16 GB was great, probably the best laptop I have ever had, and I was very happy with it. However, something didn't feel right.
So, I decided to trade my M2 for an M1 Max with better specs because they cost about the same, and I'm happy that I did.
Apparently, my daily RAM usage is around 22-26 GB. I cannot go above 30 no matter what I do, and I cannot go below 20. On the M2 Pro, my RAM usage was at 16 GB no matter what. From day one, I wasn't able to use less ram to do what I do.
Edit: running docker increases the ram usage to 30-34gb
My new computer is way more responsive than the M2 Pro with 16 GB. It feels faster, apps open faster, the browser behaves better, connecting to Bluetooth devices is somewhat faster, and switching from one app to another is smoother. It's just better.
These differences in response time aren't huge; they are probably just a split second at most. But when you add them together, the whole experience is different.

My conclusion:
If you want to fully experience the true potential of these laptops, I recommend investing in either an M2 with 32GB of RAM or more, or an M1 Max with 32GB of RAM or more. They cost about the same. If money is a problem, M1 Pro with 32 or more Ram would still outperform M2 Pro with 16GB in daily use.
Sure, while the M2 may render videos and similar tasks faster, what truly matters to me is the overall experience. If my machine operates smoother, but it takes a minute or two longer to render a video, that's perfectly fine.
I prioritize the overall user experience and don't mind the slight difference in rendering time.
Long story short, I think M1/M2 devices with 32GB (or more) ram are something else, which more people should know about.

2023.06.04 03:32 zpangwin Computer that was working fine earlier today, upon reboot, no longer shows video. Thoughts?

Issue Summary

After rebooting, I am no longer able to see video including the "BIOS" (UEFI) splash screen (which I do have configured to be displayed). I suspect this to be a hardware (specs at bottom) issue as I have had some oddities with this machine before that did not make sense from a software perspective (more below).

Steps taken so far

  1. Opened case and visually inspected: lights on CPU and GPU still come on. Fans on PSU, case, CPU, and GPU all still spin.
  2. Plugged in a rescue USB and attempt to boot to a Linux live disc. If it's doing anything, I still can't see it.
  3. My Mobo does not have integrated video, so I next connected a VGA cable from GPU to TV, thinking to rule out any issues with video over HDMI. No difference.
  4. My Mobo does not have integrated speaks but I have one of the cheap 5 cent ones plugged in and normally hear a beep when it POSTs. Currently, using a stopwatch, it is giving a single beep after about 39 seconds from being powered on. Still no video after this point (I tried on both HDMI and VGA).

Detailed Description

I am running Fedora Linux 38 on an older desktop system (specs below). Earlier today, I shut down all processes and downloaded updates on the terminal (I do not use the graphical package manager at all) in preparation for an "offline update" (e.g. kernel and video card updates applied before OS boots). I have done these many times on this same exact machine with no issues and the process usually looks like this:
The boot process generally looks something like:
  1. Reboot
  2. Machine display "BIOS" (UEFI settings splash screen)
  3. Linux bootload ("GRUB") is displayed
  4. I select the kernel version from the menu and press enter.
  5. I am prompted to unlock my SSD (bc I use full disk encryption and it is impossible to start the updates without doing so)
  6. Updates are applied then system reboots.
  7. repeat steps 1-5, then system boots up normally, with the updated kernel and so on.
This time however, after rebooting the machine, I was greeted with a "No Input Source" on the TV I had it connected to via HDMI. I decided to grab a VGA cable and try with that. Same thing.
I can see the fans spinning on the case, cpu, and gpu. The CPU and GPU lights are on. But I am not even reaching the BIOS screen anymore. Since I never actually got to the point where I unlocked my SSD's encryption, I don't think this is due to the updates I was planning to do. Likewise, since I am not getting any video at all, I can't even boot to my rescue usb.
If you are wondering how I got the specs when I can't even boot to it, that's bc I actually had issues on the same box about a month ago (see here) and was able to steal the hw dump from that post. I haven't built a pc in ages and my hw troubleshooting skills are a bit rusty but I've been a bit suspicious of the motherboard / bios for awhile... just not really sure what to do about it.
I have also tried using the switch on the back of the PSU, giving it 30s, and rebooting but this makes no difference whatsoever (still no video).
Thoughts / Suggestions?

Aside from the specs printed above, it also has a massively overkill worthy 1000W power supply. I believe the SSD brand is Samsung and for purposes of calculating PSU load, I have the SSD + 3 additional HDDs (all seagate I think) + 1 DVD drive. I vaguely remember doing the calculations a long long time ago and trying to go for a much larger PSU than needed to avoid early burn-out. I think back then I knew was I doing but seeing as how I have no clue these days, I'm not ruling out the possibly that I could have gotten something wrong.

However, Russian state media has begun airing the Hunter Biden laptop images, of Hunter engaged in drugs and pedophilia with preteen girls. This is retaliation for Biden crossing Russia's red line by repeatedly trying to sabotage Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). That's why Russia is willing to assist in the impeachment of a sitting US president, which is obviously an extreme step to take between two countries with enough nukes to blot out the Sun.
Rumor has it that China has also turned on Biden, which would make sense: China's economic backing allows Russia to survive US sanctions. China wants Taiwan, and Russia wants East Ukraine. They would be stupid not to cooperate.

Bakhmut fell regardless.

Therefore Teixeira was probably a deliberate leak by US intelligence, using a patsy to generate the initial leak and then add whatever extra info they wanted released in the resulting confusion.
Teixeira's leaks served several purposes for the Biden administration:

BRICS vs NATO

The foundation of the US empire is the petrodollar, which allows the USA to tax the world via digital debt seignorage. This is why the creation of BRICS as an independent financial and trading system rendered war between NATO and BRICS inevitable, as Kim Dotcom predicted. The US republic is a thalassocratic empire as arrogant as democratic Athens, and it is addicted to financial plunder. The Empire cannot afford to lose the USD's reserve currency status.
Reserve currencies and empires both have lifespans, and the USA has reached the end of both. It is at the stage where hubristic foreign misadventures prove fatal, and Ukraine and Taiwan will prove too much for the American eagle to handle. This is no longer WW2; the USA cannot win a two-front war against BRICS.
That is why Biden's NATO is desperate; the Empire is unravelling as the European Union and other allies such as Turkey and India lose their faith in NATO.

Ukraine keeps trying to force a crisis at ZNPP to justify NATO intervention. In other words, Ukraine keeps shelling ZNPP to cut the one power line that still connects it to the grid.

Nuclear power plants have tough shielding. Allegedly the diesel generators are hidden underground. However, the diesel fuel supply is still vulnerable.
Normally the diesel generators have enough fuel for 10 days. However, ZNPP's diesel stockpile recently dipped to 4 days, according to 4chan leaker Inb4source.

Ukrainian saboteurs caught by ZNPP

On May 27, Ukraine accused Russian of planning to cause a leak at ZNPP:

Then Russia announced it had caught saboteurs (presumably Ukrainian) in ZNPP's city:

They had with them maps and schematics of the nuclear power plant with marks for strikes that could lead to a nuclear catastrophe. The suspects are involved in collecting and transmitting information about the facilities of the Zaporozhye NPP on the instructions of the Ukrainian authorities. To communicate with the curators, they used foreign satellite systems, as well as foreign weapons for strikes and equipment for conducting reconnaissance and sabotage activities.

Some object that the footage is "staged". Of course it is staged. The primary consumer of the helmet-cam footage is Russian military intelligence. The evidence shot was staged for their benefit. The short edited video that was released to the public has distorted voices, and avoids showing any faces. Thus even if the footage is authentic, it is still "staged".
The ZNPP maps displayed in the video don't appear to match the announcement text. The maps could simply show where diesel fuel trucks need to go. Russia does not wish to advertise the specific nature of ZNPP's vulnerability.
The saboteurs appear to be 3-man team, equipped with 3 rifles and 3 NLAW missile launchers.
The saboteurs had 5 frag grenades. Normally soldiers carry 2 or 3 grenades, but heavy weapons soldiers don't have to. The three smooth grenades are RGD-5s, a cheap outdated Russian model. The Russian troops removed the fuses from the grenades on the evidence table to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Some object that Ukrainian saboteurs wouldn't be so careless as to have printouts of the reactor map. However, the saboteurs' presence in Enerhodar already makes their target obvious. Presumably multiple teams were sent to intercept Russian diesel shipments.
The Enerhodar saboteurs would've been notified when satellites spotted their target. Until then, they should hide in the safehouse behind blackout curtains to avoid detection. The fact that these saboteurs were caught napping suggests a degree of incompetence, compared to other teams who presumably either avoided detection or fought back. One can assume that Ukrainian specops have suffered extreme casualties.

Qanon has lost a tremendous amount of popularity, as patriots grew disillusioned with the slow pace of the promised Great Awakening. They did not understand that Q is subordinate to a higher power with an agenda that does not necessarily include their survival.
Q aimed to help Trump save the USA. Q was sent by "Burning Bush", whose agenda is judging humanity, on the eve of WW3 and runaway de-terraforming. BB's personas started posting to 4chan's pol by 2016, whereas Q started in October 2017. (4chan is like the wild west of the Web: The world's spooks congregate there to exchange intelligence.)
BB goes by several nicknames; he began posting anonymously as "Inb4source" in 2016. A recent message implies the USA/Israel is Babylon the Great, and God (meaning him) has returned to judge her:

BB claims responsibility for the historical pendulum swinging rightward, via figures such as Elon Musk. His method of influence is the butterfly effect.
"Burning Bush" claims to be God. One can think of him as the God of the Old Testament, or as a pagan god like Zeus, or as merely a transcendent extraterrestrial. However, he also claims to inhabit a human-looking body, lives on a ranch in the USA, has children, caught COVID19, etc.
Whatever one's theology, the relevant portion of BB's message is that the USA did not sufficiently embrace the opportunity offered by Q. Anyone who has read the Old Testament knows what happens next: Ignore the prophet, reap the consequences. Thus Q's slogan "Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming" should be understood in the Biblical sense, like Noah's flood: The Ark is optional.

Paul Furber is the chief priest of BB. Before that, he was a major early proponent of Q. See Furber's book for many verifiable examples of fulfilled predictions and proven scoops.
BB normally identifies himself by the unique image hash of his burning bush picture. (Nobody can generate that hash unless they possess the original image.) However, BB also posts as an anon users nickname "Red Skull", for his signature images of red skulls. As Red Skull, BB avoids the extravagant Biblical claims of BB, but the style and modus operandi and interests are obviously the same – as are his implied godlike powers.
I recommend focusing on facts and trying to prevent nuclear WW3, rather than getting hung up on theology. BB is not asking anyone to worship him or sacrifice chickens. He does prescribe prayer and a life of action governed by virtue.

Sounds like a severe leak, to lose 2 days of fuel in under 24 hours.

Inb4source has posted on 4chan since 2016, but he doesn't always use an image hash identifier, making it impossible to verify the identity of all of his early posts. As his popularity grew, others began adopting his catchphrase ">inb4source".
18016 posts on pol contain ">inb4source".
The first page of results suggests Inb4source is a pro-Trump military intelligence officer. He began posting in Aug 2016, before Trump's inauguration.
Another early Inb4source catchphrase is "I AM The Source." This has a double meaning, both theological and journalistic.
The catchphrase doesn't appear in every Inb4source post. Searching for it yields 437 results, too many of which are irrelevant results.
Searching for both phrases together yields 50 results that look to be mostly legitimate. One could then search for additional posts by each unique ID from a session.
Searching for image hashes is a reliable method of ID verification, assuming no one else has the image. I know of two such images that Inb4source/BB uses: both are red skulls, giving him the nickname RS.
RS just announced that his devices (phone, computers) have been compromised, casting doubt on the legitimacy of future RS posts. This may be a response to my publication of his warnings regarding Zaporizhia onto Reddit and Gab; the timing is suspicious. I first mentioned Inb4source on Reddit 7 days ago, and Red Skull on Gab yesterday (as of morning June 3). I do not know of any other analysts writing about him or connecting him to his BB persona.
When evaluating his warnings and predictions, remember that publishing info about ongoing events can affect the outcome, and is often intended to do so. Unlike the concept of Biblical prophecy, the future is mostly probabilistic. However, he is certainly good at scooping the news.
Someone else can do an in-depth Q-proof style analysis of his accuracy; my focus here is Zaporizhia.

2023.06.04 02:01 thefreakychild 2021 Chevy Spark service/repair manual. Unavailable, but potential option?

Basically, I own a 21 Chevy Spark. I love the car, it does exactly what I need it to without all the bells and whistles.
I also do a lot of my own work on my vehicles, as much as I can. Why send to a shop and spend more money when I can competently perform the majority of all routine maintenance and minomedium level repair work? Ya know.
Then again, Ive always found it advantageous to have a repaiservice manual for my vehicles so I'll be able to quickly reference procedures, torque specs, etc for my repairs.
That being said, it's damned impossible to get a repaiservice manual for this car....
Chevy uses Helm Inc. to produce all their documentation, and I called Helm and was told that Chevy made the decision to not sell repaiservice manuals beyond 2018..... They do, however, have a manual for a 17 Spark.
As far as I know, there's no difference, except body styling and some interior, between a 17 and a 21 Spark. Engine, transmission, drivetrain, and all other parts are the same as far as I know. The fourth gen Sparks (M400 chassis) began in 2015 and carried through the final year of the Spark's production in 22.
Before I go spending that money for a copy of the 2017 Spark repaiservice manual I just wanted to know if anyone had any input on this. Basically, just a sanity check, ya know?

So I beat Renallia and and was able to ReSpec
I took everyones advice and pretty much put everything in Strength and Vigor.
I tried to beat Morgott 100x with my old specs.
After Respec I beat him on the 1st try.
I only use a +20 great Axe. I use the Wild Strikes ash only
I also finally realized that the Girl in the Round Table was able to upgrade my Spirits so I now have a +7 Jellyfish. I sold my other spirits.
I use a shield and Pretty much exclusively the Axe. So much so I sold all my other weapons.
I LOVE THIS GAME. THE BEST IVE EVER PLAYED. 100 HOURS IN.
Since this pic I beat Morgott and and now a 22 endurance.

Rails for almost every server and some cable management arms plan is to include the rails for any whole server bought or sell them individually like I assume I will have to do for a bunch of these. All of these were taken of out production in the last two months at my place or work, I upgraded one of the servers a good bit but eventually decided to consolidate to a beefy consumer solution and need to recoup some of my expenses. Feel free to ask for more details on any server as well. There is basically 0 market for these kinds of thing in my area.
So what are some decent prices for each of these servers and parts? What would likely sell whole or just part it all out?

I need help setting up a multi-node test cluster using k3s (k3d wrapper) (1 master node / 3 worker nodes), deploying nginx web server, and installing a Go application from DockerHub - all locally on my machines (Windows with Docker Engine WSL2, K3D, Helm installed & a VirtualBox with Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS also fully configured to use K3D, Helm, Docker)
