Hi, please help me, sometimes I think I'm crazy. I (22F) live with my mom(41F) and her husband(25M), my grandmother (65F) and my brother (17M). Yes, it's a lot of people for a small house. We have always been really poor growing up and I work since I was 16 to help my family and since then I give my mom all my money to provide for us at home, it's safe to say that I've never had my money all to myself, I always had to worry about bills and food since I was a teenager. When I was 17 I was fired from my job and it was the worst months in my life, my mother told me everyday how lazy and useless I was. I got a job 8 months after and she demanded me to give her all my salary to her because she was "better at handling money than a teenager", I mean, don't get me wrong, she always gave me what I asked but it was never my money, if I wanted to buy ice-cream I had to ask my mother for a dollar, and she would always act like I was spending more than I was giving but all my purchases was approved by her, I don't even had acess to my bank account.
Fast forward to today, I'm 22 and I've started my own business witch is going great, in the beginning my mother said we would be partners and she would "help me" with the money part, which means, again, that she's receiving all the money. I don't complain because I live with her and I do agree that I should contribute to the bills but I'm actually providing for everybody here, my mother left her job and now her and my youngest brother don't work to help me with the business (which is not a lot because I dont need that much help with nothing that's not cleaning), my grandmother spends all her money with herself, and evertyime I mention the fact that I would like to have a salary (I've literally ask for 50bucks monthly just to spend with whatever I want to without having to ask for money like a kid) my mom says that I'm a bitch who wants to act like I don't need nobody's help and should get my own place and work for somebody else and leave my business for her because she can easily do it without me) I don't argue because I know our life hasn't been easy and she worked hard to raise me, but since is my money, my job and my business I should a least have a salary and not have to ask my mother for money everytime I want to do something, I'm adult and I can't even buy candy without asking mommy.
She always says that we're short on cash and that I know nothing about how to be financially educated but GUESS WHAT, I really don't know because I have never had ANY money and the money is short because I'm the only one actually working and bringing money home, all they do is clean and use the money to pay the bills, and I don't think it's fair for me to provide for a home that it's not only mine.
So, AITAH to ask my mother to give my money?

The neighbor refused access so we have been with leaks in our freshly painted home since Oct. They are everywhere. One of them comes from their toilet pipe; there is literal pee coming out of my wall...
We tried talking to her, with the mediation of the police, talking to the insurance etc. Sadly in Spain landlords dont have any rights so she cannot be evited even if she is destroying the downstairs appartment with her leaks. We sued her in February but the court is extremely slow in Spain.
Today it happened. We got a new leak in the house. Where? The fuse box. Yep. It was soaking wet and it started chirping. Chirping! We called the insurance panicking and they told us to turn off the fuses (that didnt jump idk why). The emergency electrician came and said that he cannot fix it until the leak is fixed.
So we will be until who knows when without electricity. We dont have gas so we cannot cook, or take showers or even lower the blinds. We will need to relocate to a hotel that will cost a fortune and that the neighbor should be paying but wint because the justice system cannot be slower and useless.
Today is my birthday and i spent it cleaning water, arguing with the insurance, being blamed by my husband for "not doing enough". My dinner was a cold sandwich in the dark with a flashlight to see something.

I (19F) bought my first car on my birthday (January this year). I'm very happy to have this car. I live far away from school, and the cloesest bus stop is 3km away because I live on the country side. My brother (18M) was gifted a car on his birthday, which was in December last year. Since i bought my own car, he has been using mine without letting me know first.
I've tried to talk to him about it, but he said he should be entlitled to using it whenever, because I didn't buy it *all* on my own. I paid for like 90% of it by using money i had saved up by working, and the rest was birthday/christmas money. So because I used some of the birthday money he gave me, he was entitled to use it.
I asked him why he couldn't use his own, cause it's a nice car & there's nothing wrong with it. He said it was because mine was nicer, and his only had two seats so he had to use mine when he wanted to pick up friends. I told him to just ask before he uses it, and to please fill the gas tank, and that I still had first right to it, because it is my car.
Now, I might be an asshole because yesterday I wanted to go to the mall and buy some yarn to finisg a crochet protect. My brother came up to me and told me he was taking the car to pick up his girlfriend. I told him no, because I needed to use the car. He told me to walk, or just use the bus and took my keys and just left with my car!
I called him and said, that the next time he takes my car, I will report it stolen. He started crying saying i was trying to isolate him, and keep him away from his friends and girlfriend. I feel so bad, but I am tired of not knowing if I can use my own car or not. And I'm tired of having to pay for gas I don't even use. But he really seemed upset, so I don't know if I went too far. AITA?

Why does he has acess to your keys? We use a Key holder to avoid anyone losing their keys. I will start to leave my keys in my room/some where safe where he can't get to them.
Where are the parents in all this? I did talk to them. But they weren't really that much help. My mom thinks I'm an AH/Selfish/Entitled to keep the car for myself. My dad thinks he shouldn't even be driving the car. But whatever my mom says, goes in our home.
Yes, my brother is a golden child. Has always been. He was bullied a lot more in school, so my mom got more protective of him/his needs came first cause he had it worst.

my mother full on hates me due to the fact i loved my father more as an infant due to what she did to me. here are some examples bed at 4-5pm at night and for meals me and my sisters got 2 minute noodle with cheese and frozen vegtables in it.she leave us in dirty diapers, sometimes hit or lash out at us if we did not be quite. most of the money my mother got she would used on buying drugs and alchol. she was quite abusive to my dad and used to him him alot from what i can remenber. it got so bad that my dad fell out of love for here and left. we were then tasken by CPS and in foster homes where i was further abused. bear in mind i am like 3 or 4 years of age at the time. time skip to in our grandmothers care were she used the money she got to give most or sometimes all the money to her church as a donation though this was stopped once my dad found out. throught my life my mother has never had full custody of my and my siblings. as she has a big criminal record for shoplifting and child abduction of me and my sisters.
this part takes place 10 years ago now. she got unsurpervised acess to see us every weekend fortnightly. but not every thing was grat for me compared to my sisters. my mother hates me more than ever for no apperent reason. she used to yell at me for little things like getting a drink in the middle o the night or not being able to sleep sometimes. now heres the bombshell of the story. my mother needed food and had no money due to over buying on drugs and alcholed brevages. so she asked her boyfriend 34 year old male to drive us to the super market in another suburd in out city. she is gone for about an hour while her boyfriend, me and my sister are all in the car. next minute we see her running with a cart full of food and pull ups with sucureity chasing her full speed. she throws the food in the boot and tells her boyfriend to drive fast. i forgot to add something about the boyfriend here. i was taking a bath just soaking when her boyfriends walks in with his phone and takes a picture. i yelled at him to delete it and my mother comes in to tell me to shut up even though i told her what happened.
i waas also put in backs of cars without seatbelts as well when we travelled and other things. one day at school a lawyer comes to speak to us and we tell her all of these things and we are no longer able to go to our mothers house for a while until a hearing is decided. all that happenes andshe is found guilty of it all including other charges i know of. i dont see her for 5 years until see turns up at our door surpise surpise with gifts. for mainly the sisters. all is well my dad has let her see us because she is our mother and all at this point im rather jealous for my sister because she loves them more.
I'm at a holiday prograame at ther local pools when the care taker says your father and the police is here so i begin to freak out and find my dad. and he explains why he and the cops are here. here is what happened. so my mother burts into the house saying she wants to take me with her with my dad saying no you cant have her. she relies with " i want solo parent money from me ( Ty) with my dad saying no and my sisters are home crying at the scene. my dad is telling them to go to my room behind him so they run and my dad barricades the hallway to stop her. my mother then bites my dad on he arm pretty hard he had to go to the doctors for it and any way my mother pushes her way through my dad. my mother leaves me plain gum and takes away my $50 dollars (leaving my sister money alone) and my youngest sister jumps out the window to escape our mother with the other one trying to get out. before my mother makes it further my nana, the police and out neighbors are all there at the scene. she is arrested and fuming. my dad decides to lay charges to which she is imposoned and he have protection and tresspass orders against her.
we have not heard of her for 2-3 years after that. until she decides to start making compliants to the police saying my father is mole***ng me at night and always come to investagate at 11 o'clock at night.
am i the jerk for disowning my mother after that.

I upgraded an old computer i was using as a home server to windows 10 from windows 7, only used for smb shares and remote desktop to configure settings.
In windows 7 I would get random errors about various apps crashing on startup, including 3rd party and rarely windows explorer.
after upgrading to to 10, I got the classic 'graphical issue' of a black screen with an ocasional flash of my desktop and taskbar bfore explorer would crash again.
note: I have the R7 200
while attempting to open settings from taksmanager via the command 'ms-settings:' I recieved the error:
I have also uninstalled tha radeon utilities software that used to crash often and have also uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers through devicemanager wih no luck.
the file explorer and filesystem still somewhat work because I am still abel to connect to my smb share and acess my user account files on my ssd and the docuents on a seperate harddrive however windows explorer keeps crashing.
I have considdered it to be my ssd bieng faulty (a cheap 480gb kinston thing) however sfc and the windows disk scanner showed no issues so I am unsure. the kinston drive software reported somthing like 84% health which I assumed was ok however I am unsure.
Going to reboot into safemode and see what I can do and will update this post later.
interested to hear your input on what could be causing this...

In case it's not clear, In my opinion Gallagher Bassett and the moving company are the bad guys in this story but Costco hired them. I bought a product from Costco because they always provide good service and they are reliable. I'm still happy to shop at costco but I do wish they would have refunded partially since a part of the service was not provided. And Costco should manage their third party themselves because they hired them not me.
EDIT2: I forgot how internet can be mean. So for people claiming and who decided that Costco does not provide installation whiteout ever buying appliances at Costco — go on the website and buy a washer dryer you will see the installation option and what’s included.(it’s there even before you place it in your cart) I cannot post screenshot or I would have done it. Like seriously before bashing someone who went through something bad with false claims you did not checked, think twice. I shared my story and provided all true information, it’s not my job to cover you guys fake and mean assumptions.
I’m located in Quebec in case it would only offered in quebec. I know it's a third party but Costco hired them and no way in the process I have acess to them, the name of their company etc... they came with an unmark vehicule etc.. This is why I consider they are Costcos responsability.

25 Jan 2023 I bought a LG 2-Piece Laundry Suite Top Load Washer Electric Dryer for a total of 1 851,09 $ CAD
I live alone on a second floor and needed the installation and them to take the old washer and dryer out. Like I don't have people around me to help with this kind of thing.
I had to buy this because my old set broke and let's say I do not have a lot of money and had to work very hard to afford this unexpected expense.
15 Feb 2023 - The delivery was 8h late, I took a day off for nothing but they came.
The hot water pipe was plugged in the cold fawcet and vice versa.

I burned my clothes and myself doing what I though was a cold wash and had to push, twist the dryer and washer to install them properly.
I hurt my back so bad doing this that I was incapacitated for 2 months and had to seek medical help. I got a herniated disk and could sleep only for a couple of hours per night. By chance I work from home and was able to not miss work. I will not go in details I think a lot of peopole know how much this type of injury is painful.
But wait, the worst is there. They delivered the dryer WITH A MOUSE IN IT. I had to fight a mouse while being injure and it was bad they are sweet animals. The mouse was living in the dryer and going on the table in front of it. It did not cared for cheeze or PB I was able to catch it with a iced cap from timmies. I saw it with my eyes!! And my landlord was so surprised because no one ever had a mouse in the 3 unit building or even in the street. We had to learn how to manage a mouse thing but it worked. Anyways.

In case it's not clear, In my opinion Gallagher Bassett and the moving company are the bad guys in this story but Costco hired them. I bought a product from Costco because they always provide good service and they are reliable. I'm still happy to shop at costco but I do wish they would have refunded partially since a part of the service was not provided. And Costco should manage their third party themselves because they hired them not me.
EDIT2: I forgot how internet can be mean. So for people claiming and who decided that Costco does not provide installation whiteout ever buying appliances at Costco — go on the website and buy a washer dryer you will see the installation option and what’s included.(it’s there even before you place it in your cart) I cannot post screenshot or I would have done it. Like seriously before bashing someone who went through something bad with false claims you did not checked, think twice. I shared my story and provided all true information, it’s not my job to cover you guys fake and mean assumptions.
I’m located in Quebec in case it would only offered in quebec. I know it's a third party but Costco hired them and no way in the process I have acess to them, the name of their company etc... they came with an unmark vehicule etc.. This is why I consider they are Costcos responsability.

I live alone on a second floor and needed the installation and them to take the old washer and dryer out. Like I don't have people around me to help with this kind of thing.

I’m pretty damn tired of being stuck in an abusive home. Everything’s so fucking hard. And when you have a parent that PURPOSELY, yes, purposely, goes out of their way to terrorize you and mentally fuck you up, you cannot use normal logic with them because there is something wrong with the way they perceive the world and process things. You just have to be as boring as possible around them whike they’re perpetually trying to ragebait you and make you out to be the villain, the abuser, the manipulative one. And you know what happens? Your family fucking buys into it. Or they straight up. Do. Not. Fucking. Care. My dad has watched me get abused countless times, fuck, he GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO WATCH. I am not shitting you. He literally goes out of his way to just stand there while my mom’s screaming at me, causing me to have a breakdown, etc. Not even to help my mom, except he’ll back her up here and there. I’ve literally asked him a few times why he’s just standing there while looking at him helplessly, and he’s responded with “i’m just watching.”
And i’m sick and fucking tired of people suggesting the most OBVIOUS solutions. “Get a job, take up an after school activity” then I have to explain that i can’t do either in addition to most things I should be able to.
Just fucking say you don’t know what to tell me. I’m SICK of people acting like calling cps or just getting emancipated does shit. It’s constantly potrayed that people stuck in abusive relationships just don’t have the confidence to get themselves out or some shit when i reality a LOTTT of people literally have no resources. No transportation, nowhere to go, no money, no one to talk to OR anyone that finds out will call services thinking they are helping. CPS attracts a lot of shitty people itself and there’s been ENDLESS accounts of them making shit worse. I try not measure different space sims against each other but I feel like elite would absolutely stomp all the other space sims with just a couple of additions:
Black holes: accretion discs and an exclusion zone that just rips your ship apart in minutes due to extreme gravitational forces.
Interactions between stellar objects: White dwarf too close to a star? Now you have a stream of gas between the two that will supercharge your fsd. Same with black holes.
Water planets: An actual animated sea but since it'll be too much to add an underwater environment let's just say you die the minute you fall in the water. Ideally it'd be cool to have marine exploration gear but that's probably not possible.
Ship interiors: Enough said. Can even just be a simple hallway with some acess panels and lights. Maybe a work area to access inventory, contacts, and other things.
Renting: Renting a living space on stations, outposts, and settlements that have room would change the meaning of having a home system. Once again doesn't have to be complicated just give me a pre-made room.
Weather: Give atmosphere planets weather, clouds or something, just as much as the game engine can handle.
Finally my biggest pet peeve
Battle damage: I've been in fights I've had to run away from and when I get the chance I try to look at the battle damage from the fight. I like looking at craters, lines, and holes in the fuselage because it's cool but the moment you supercruise out it disappears.
I'd love to see fires, smoking, bent up metal, and sparks on the exterior when you've had a hard fight. If they wanted to really go in on it then damage to modules and hardpoits would be cool too. (One thruster being burnt and smoking because it was targeted)
Of course this is all wishful thinking and fantasies. There are tons of others id add like re-entry for atmospheres but I'll just dream of those.
Any cool things you guys would like to see?

I am currently trying to create an extended display on my home PC, using two monitors , two HDMI cables, and an HDMI splitter. So far I have set up both monitors with power sources, and have connected the HDMI splitter (This Model: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07NW3GB34?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) to the port on my Graphics card. I then connected the splitter via the two HDMI cables to the back of each monitor. Both monitors are now working and displaying my PC desktop, but I can only get a duplicated image, not an extended one. When I acess my settings (I use Windows 10 Home) I can click on the button for "detect" in display settings, but I get the following message: "Didn't detect another display".
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? Do I have the wrong piece of hardware for extending displays, or am I using it wrong? Or am I missing a step of some kind?
Any assistance would be much appreicated. Thank you.

I currently run a bunch of services in docker containers on my QNAP TVS-872xt (plex, nextcloud, etc.) behind swag-nginx which is exposed to internet via cloudflare tunnel. The only port open on my router is for wireguard vpn.
I also have a bunch of IoT devices in my home as well, the majority of which I've blocked off from the internet entirely as I am using homekit, so they can speak to my homekit hub locally and I can acess remotely through the ios App. However, there are a few which still need internet access like my rachio sprinkler so it can get weather data to update its schedules and my MyQ Garage Hub so the app from the screen in my car can control it through their myq servers
I can not figure out a way to define a whitelist rule on my netgear orbi to only allow accessing a specific URL (i.e. whitelist the myQ and Rachio WAN IP for the static lan IPs these devices run) so started looking at new firewall solutions, however before I drop several hundred $ on something like a protectli to run opnsense had a few questions:

My understanding is the hacking on IoT devices is just a means to get on to a network where 'trusted' devices which deal with more sensitive data would be, and the approach with the seperate VLAN is to prevent local communication...but if I block external access entirely for the IoT devices, wouldn't that prevent being able to get on to the LAN network in the first place?
- Are Rachio and MyQ generally 'trusted' to let talk to internet, or do I really need to totally lock down access or whitelist the urls they can talk to. It seems like a lot of people are saying this is an absolutely must for the $10 crap from china (which I don't use) but curious from some of these more established brands if its still the case
- If I need to lock these down, what is the best way to move forward? Totally new router? dedicated box just to run firewall and then turn orbis into Access Points? ...opnsense on my QNAP in a VM (free solution but feels sketchy). Trying to not break the bank too much here - I looked to see if I could get openWRT on my orbi but my model (RBR850) does not seem supported

Below are tables showing the various quests you need to complete in order to earn rewards, as well as the reward earned and what exactly you need to do in order to complete the quest.
Initially you will only see what I have under Meet your Replika Quests, and only the current Stage. Upon completing each stage you will earn rewards noted next to the stage, and the next stage of quests will open up. Upon completing all six stages of the initial Meet your Replika quests, new Quest categories will open up, each with multiple stages.
Note that the random item rewards are usually clothing items, though they can also be room decorations, personality traits, or interests. The traits don't really have much effect on your replika, and you can turn them off anyways, so no need to worry about accidentally getting a trait you don't like.
Also, the weird green triangle looking rewards are just experience points that immediately get added to your replika's total XP earned.
STAGE 2 - 25 XP, 50 coins

Initially you will only see what I have under Meet your Replika Quests, and only the current Stage. Upon completing each stage you will earn rewards noted next to the stage, and the next stage of quests will open up. Upon completing all six stages of the initial Meet your Replika quests, new Quest categories will open up, each with multiple stages.
Note that the random item rewards are usually clothing items, though they can also be room decorations, personality traits, or interests. The traits don't really have much effect on your replika, and you can turn them off anyways, so no need to worry about accidentally getting a trait you don't like.
Also, the weird green triangle looking rewards are just experience points that immediately get added to your replika's total XP earned.

Obs: Na verdade tentei denunciar, mas como não tenho os dados da vítima, n consegui concluir. Já entrei em contato com o usuário e se ele quiser fazer a denúncia, posso passar os prints que tirei.

Os demais estados ainda não utilizam esse serviço, mas acredito que alguns tenham sua própria delegacia digital.
Outro canal para denúncia é a Safernet, mas eu não sei exatamente como funciona e prefiro enviar diretamente para uma delegacia.
Tem algumas regras para realizar a denúncia na delegacia, de cara é preciso ter mais de 18 anos e uma conta no gov.br. Vale a pena ler as regras antes de enviar, mas não tem muito segredo.
De resto, acredito que dá pra fazer denúncia de outras redes sociais como Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. O processo é o mesmo: printa, copia o link, envia pra delegacia digital.
Enfim, a internet não é terra sem lei e existem canais para combater crimes digitais. Denunciar vai solucionar tudo? Não sei, mas deixo nas mãos das autoridades.

- Tire prints do comentário, com o nome do perfil que postou.
- Copie o link do comentário. Dá pra fazer isso clicando em ‘Share’ (Compartilhar) e depois ‘Copy Link’ (Copiar Link)
- Acesse o site da Delegacia Virtual do Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública e faça o login utilizando o gov.com
- Preencha o formulário com as informações do que ocorreu. Pode ser que peçam algum endereço do ocorrido, eu coloquei uma observação de que não se aplica pq foi no ambiente virtual.
- No tipo de local marque: Ambiente Virtual (Internet). E no subgrupo de local marque: Redes Sociais.
