I'm currently running Tyranny of Dragons and have changed quite a few things about it. Right now the party has been captured by the Cult of the Dragon during the Dragon hatchery chapter (chapter 3 I think) and is about to have a ritual preformed on them by my homebrew version of the Red Wizards of Thay (called The Black Death in my homebrew world. They are a Plague doctor themed wizard organization. They do bad things)
This ritual involves chanting, dancing, stabbing the PCs through the heart, killing Dragon babies, mixing all their blood in a pool and forcing it back into the PCs all while the ritual master and the 50+ other evil wizards sing "The Hu's" Wolf Totem. (Give it a listen if you're not familiar. You wont regret)
Anyway at the end of this ritual the blue Dragon who was at greenest bursts in looking for his mate (she was being held prisoner. The Cult was forcing the blue Dragon to do their bidding under threat of harm to his mate. The mate potentially birthed some of the dragons used in the ritual. Unwillingly) As the PCs lose consciousness they see the Dragon fucking shit up.
The ritual was actually a test run. This was the first time the wizards got it right and if everything had gone according to plan then they would have simply killed the PCs once they achieved success. However the Dragon (tipped off by Bahamut, who the PC have met but don't yet realize because he was shapeshifted) ruined these plans. So the PCs will awake with some extra powers based on whatever color Dragon they now share blood with! (Determined by rolling a d6, Black 1, white 2, green 3, blue 4, red 5, free choice 6)
I need advice on the powers I want to give to my players. The party will be level 6 when they get this and I want them to be a little OP as I like my PCs to feel pretty badass. (I like anime and main characters need to be strong. It also let's me punish them more in the long run lol) so let me know what you think about this...
DRAGON SOUL-
The dragon blood coursing through your veins gives you dragon like qualities. Your eyes change color to match the color of the dragon you share blood with. Your pupils become reptilian. Your skin becomes rough and slightly scaly everywhere except your face, palms, and soles of your feet. You grow claws and your teeth become sharp. You also gain the following traits.
-Blindsight out to a radius of 10 ft.
-Resistance to damage based on the type of dragon you share blood with.
-You gain a breath weapon that does 7d6 damage of the type of dragon you share blood with. It recharges on a short rest and you decide weather it's a 15 foot cone or a 30 foot line. Target must make a DC 14 DEX save, half damage on success.
-You gain Darkvision out to 60 ft (120 ft if you already have Darkvision)

• You gain claws that do 1d6 damage and have the finesse property.

DRAGON FORM-
As a bonus action you can enter your Dragon Form. Your body evolves to resemble the Dragon you share blood with. Your become covered in scales that match your dragons color. You grow 50% bigger (your size does not change) and wings erupt from your back. Your head also grows horns and changes shape to resemble a dragon. While evolved this way you gain the following benefits (replacing the dragon Soul benefits where applicable)
-You gain a 60 ft fly speed
-Immunity to damage based on the type of dragon you share blood with.

• Your breath weapon now does 16d6 damage, has a DC of 16 and recharges on a roll of 6 on a d6 (rolled at start of turn). Also the range is doubled. (30 ft cone, 60 ft line)

-Boost any one skill by 4 (you can boost a skill over 20 with this trait)

• You gain a bite attack that does 1d8 piercing damage and has the finesse property.
  
• You gain +1d6 damage (based on the Dragon you share blood with) to all attack and spell damage rolls (excluding Breath weapon)
  

Your Dragon Form lasts for 1 minute. When you end your dragon form roll a d12. The number you roll is the number of days you must wait before using this ability again. If you use this ability again before then, roll a d6 on activation. The number you roll is the number of levels of exhaustion you take when it ends.
And that's it! I plan on taking the PCs to at least level 17 so they get to experience that sweet end game bliss. Let me know if you think I should buff or nerf. And if you have any suggestions they are certainly welcome!

So I am looking to make a Forrest aquascape with a twist. I want to make a swamp aquascape and of course this poses challenges since we're trying to make water, underwater. I thought about trying to use Elatine hydropiper to make it look like a swamp covered in duckweed and then do dwarf hair grass on the banks. I plan to use bonsai driftwood trees and affix Java moss to make the 2 trees on each bank. I would love suggestions on other plants that would go well with this swamp theme if anyone has suggestions. I was also thinking about using some aqarium safe epoxy resin to make a black/brown piece for the swamp water instead what do you all think?

It stars Halle Bailey from The Lion King and the upcoming The color purple. Also starring Melissa McCarthy, Jonah Hauer-King from The Lion King, Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, and Awkwafina from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Raya and the Last Dragon. Last but not least is Javier Bardem from Pirates of the Caribbean- Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Ariel (Halle Bailey), is a mermaid who wants to live in the human world with Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King), after saving him from a ship wreck. Ariel’s dad, King Triton (Javier Bardem) forbids it, which forces Ariel to make a dangerous deal with Ursula (Melissa McCarthy), a sea witch.
This version of the Little Mermaid isn’t 100 percent a copy of the original. They have made changes so that the film would stand out from the original. My favorite change was when Ursula’s tentacles lit up, I feel it illuminated her scenes. I thought they should have kept Flounder’s (Jacob Tremblay) color the same from the original film. Here I found his coloring a little weird.
At first I wasn’t sure about Sebastian (Daveed Diggs) due to him not looking like a normal crab but he won me over by playing his part well and delivering some funny lines. Ariel is my favorite Disney princess, so I was extremely happy that Bailey did a great job portraying Ariel. She sang “Part of your World” beautifully. Bardem wasn’t as convincing as he could have been playing King Triton, I feel he didn’t show how angry he was at Ariel when he was destroying her collection of human artifacts. In my opinion, the best performance in this film was McCarthy as Ursula, she can sing and she did an amazing job being menacing yet being someone audiences love. Just like Sebastian, Scuttle (Awkwafina) was funny. The song Scuttle and Sebastian sang together in the palace was really humorous. Hauer-King was a good prince Eric who got a little more of a story this time around. He and Ariel both wanted to explore uncharted places.
John Myhre, the production designer filmed the scenes on a blue screen, and the actors just preformed the swimming movements in the air. This was impressive!. All the scenes looked realistic under the sea. I would recommend any Disney fan to go see this live action Little Mermaid.

For context, about four years ago, when I was in the process of graduating from high school, my parents went through a separation and subsequent divorce. Shortly after my parents ended their relationship, my father (52 years old) started dating a woman whom I'll refer to as Dolly (38 years old). Initially, Dolly seemed pleasant and made an effort to be kind to both me and my younger brother. Ever since they began living together, I have noticed a visible change in my father's demeanor, as he is obviously constantly stressed and engaged in frequent SUPER HEATED arguments with Dolly. It seems that she always looks for opportunities to provoke him over mundane matters, and I have personally witnessed these confrontations. As their relationship progressed towards marriage, my brother and I started noticing her making peculiar suggestions, such as encouraging my father to reverse his vasectomy. Additionally, she consistently undermines and criticizes my mother, who has been an incredible source of support and actively involved in my life; Dolly often insinuates to both my brother and me that she intends to replace our mother eventually.
On my father's side of the family, there is widespread disapproval of Dolly, particularly from my grandmother (his mother), who has held negative opinions about her from the very beginning. However, my father is stubborn and dislikes anyone who challenges his perspective. He constantly tries to convince everyone to like Dolly by manufacturing instances where she supposedly performs good deeds or shows consideration. This behavior raises a red flag, as these instances are always fabricated and not indicative of her true character as a genuinely kind person.
I am now concerned about my father's well-being, given the abnormal levels of stress he is enduring due to Dolly's presence, especially considering his past heart issues. It is worth mentioning that everyone, including my mother and brother, shares a strong dislike for this woman, while my father remains oblivious. I feel a sense of guilt, but I am determined to find a solution.
