Top gear season 1 cast

I play a caster typically. Doing a sorcerer on a run with my wife but decided to do a solo barb play.
Fighting bosses with the barbarian is atrocious. Let me make it clear - I'm all about magic. I typically hate the barb/crusadewhatever. This was just to kill time. This is a post about poor design, not me truly caring.
Constant AOE type attacks. Instant 360 attacks. Slows/stuns. Mob spawns.
YOU CAN ONLY EVADE EVERY FIVE SECONDS. Seriously. Who in the hell thinks of that? "Hey everyone .. um ... It's not hard enough for melee players so let's just fuck them and make it so they can't avoid attacks while the ranged players are out of harm's way!!!"
I just think it sucks. My sorcerer hardly has to use potions where my barbarian died over and over. On Diablo 3 of course I'd have a bit of an easier time but at least it wasn't like this. Even Dark Souls or other games that are all about "fuck you, you're meant to die" allow you to evade/parry if you have the skill.
On Diablo 4 melee is "stand against the boss while it keeps hitting you and hope you out-damage it before you run out of potions"
Of course it's not 100% that simple but ... 99%
I'm about to ditch this play for a ranged rogue.
Still, I hope they fix it for the people that like barbarians.
On top of that to the rest of the early access people - wtf is with selling us on a mount we can't use until halfway through? It's bad enough that unless you obsess about diablo you have no fucking clue that a season doesn't start until a month later. Honestly I've been playing D3 for years and JUST started my first season and had no clue how that shit worked. Also, the shit didn't say that the battle pass was tied to the season. I found it later ... through reddit ..;.
Truly, I give 2 fucks about the battle pass. The mount however, running around this dull-ass world with a slow-ass barbarian constantly surrounded by mobs that the sorcerer kills in a second IDK.
This game doesn't feel like Diablo to me.
It's something else.
Something messy.
Something greedy.
It'll be something to do with my wife so, I don't regret my purchase but, I never have and never will buy anything for single player purpose from Blizzard. They're a shit show but marriage is marriage. It's like buying condoms or birth control. Nobody wants to have to but you need shit to do. Blizzard, you're no better than the rubber on my dick... if I used em.
EDIT: Yes I steered WAY OFF there. I don't care. BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Honestly all of you the past couple weeks have been sooooo horrible. So horrible. Please at least do something fruitful and help give honest feedback to Blizzard about their shit choices. I already have. They fucked the pooch this time.

Hey Guys,
Do I watch the new 1 hour special after the 2022 ending? I did not watch the OVA's or movies so wondering if the next thing to watch is the 1 hour special that continues like the prior season (Have the episodes been condensed into this special?)

First, let me explain how the score system worked. On the survey, there were 3 questions: Which birds do you like, which bird is your favourite, and which bird is your least favourite. Each bird would get 1 point for being liked on the first question, an extra 2 points for being picked as the favourite on the second question, and 2 points deducted for being picked as least favourite on the last question.
Unless it seems reasonable to bring it up, I won't be saying which points came from where, to save my own energy. But with that being said, from lowest to highest, here is each bird with their score.

• 11: Melody (-27) I'm near certain that the reason Melody scored this low was due to her being the most recent addition to the flock. There were quite a few that claimed her to be "ugly" as well, and I can certainly see why. But, all in all, it's almost definitely due to her recency.
• 10: Sliver (-13) I'm not quite sure what landed Silver in the negative-score zone with Melody, but being the second newest addition to the flock, it could also be due to recency. Some people in the survey said she was a "Tony ripoff", while others said she had an unappealing design. I suppose the reasons are more spread out this time.
• 9: Matilda (15) Strangely enough, I have absolutely no idea how Matilda ended up so low on the list. The reasons provided by the survey people ranged from "One of the weaker birds" to "they jaw is 💀". The community definitely has their unique reasons for disliking her.
• 8: Stella (23) After looking at the responses, I think the main two reasons why Stella scored so low is due to her strange ability in the games, and being "boring" according to the responses. I'm not exactly sure what they meant by "boring", but the Angry Birds Stella spinoff game/show definitely bumped her up a few points compared to the others.
• 7: Hal (36) I was very shocked to see Hal barely make the bottom half of the list, considering how I thought he was quite the fan-favourite. However, after checking the results, almost all of the reasons provided involved his incredibly tough-to-control in-game ability. While I knew this was a big problem with Hal, I had no idea this was so big of a turn-off for some people. Welp, the more you know, I suppose...
• 6: The Blues (38) Coming in at the dead centre of the list, the Blues seem to have their fair share of lovers and haters. While the haters mainly provided the argument that they're some of the weakest birds, the lovers mainly seem to like them for their unique personality.
• 5: Red (46) Half of the people who picked Red as their favourite did not provide a response as to why, but the two that did clearly seemed to favour his leadership and simple character design. Not many people said he was their least favourite too, which also certainly helped his score.
• 4: Chuck (55) Similar to Red, Chuck, according to the survey, seems to be loved mainly due to his unique design. I can understand this, as Chuck is the only triangular bird in the flock he is definitely very unique design-wise. Also similarly to Red, Chuck was only considered the least favourite of one person out of the 76 surveyed, which greatly benefitted his final ranking.
• 3: Bomb (66) Bomb is the only character in the entire survey that NOBODY said was their least favourite. This is enough to get in the top half of the list, but several also said that Bomb was their favourite. Strangely enough though, there is very little material to work with when trying to find a good reason for his near-unanimous liking from the fanbase. I suppose people just like big explosions?
• 2: Terence (84) Terence is personally my favourite bird, but this is about the general public. I'm extremely sure that his meme status, even outside of AB, greatly improved his score as even non-fans recognised him. On top of this, Terence is extremely powerful, smashing through buildings without issue in-game. There are many reasons why someone would love Terence, and it's a no-brainer why he scored 2nd on the list.
• 1: Bubbles (94) Now, I already knew that bubbles was a fan-favourite bird before conducting the survey, but this made me realise just how many people have a profound love for the little orange guy. There are so many people that enjoy his design, character, and in-game ability that I barely had time to read all of the responses. Bubbles is, while only narrowly beating out Terence, certainly the fanbase's favourite bird.

Just needed a place to share this because my friends and family who knew my mother don’t watch the show yet (even though I’ve recommended it multiple times!) and my friends who watch the show didn’t know my mother.
I kind of felt like Susie reminded me of my mother in the earlier seasons but in the last season especially as we see Susie age through time, her attitude, her mannerisms, her propensity for creative cursing, even her fashion choices…everything about her kept getting closer and closer with each episode to the mother I remember. It was strange.
As an example to at least convey how she spoke, the story my parents always told of how they’d met took place at a train station. My dad was sitting on a bench watching this woman pace back and forth until she finally turned to him and blew her top screaming, “is this god damn mother fucking asshole son of a bitch train always this late?” And that was it for them. Locked in.
She passed away last year after a long battle with dementia. I had a lot of stories like that to tell at her funeral. In a way, seeing how Susie believed so deeply in Midge reminded me to remember the ways in which my mother believed in me. It came at a time when I really needed to sit with that. It also, sadly, gave me a glimpse at the later chapter of her life that could have been.
It was special for my wife too, because she had never really met my mother but had heard the stories. For us, watching those final episodes together was a borderline supernatural experience. Susie and my mother are, of course, different…but they share a spirit that shaped me and that I love. That I miss.
Anyways…I just needed some place to share this because there aren’t too many people who would get it. Thanks for being a space I can drop a little bit of my heart into on this one.
Her name was Wally and she was the funniest person I knew.

As we continue to monitor class performance in instanced group content as well as PvP, we regularly adjust classes that are over- or under-performing. Based on recent data, observations, and feedback from players, we intend to make the following adjustments during scheduled weekly maintenance (on June 6 in this region).

Classes

Death Knight

• Blood
  • All damage abilities increased by 8%.

Druid

• Feral
• Developers’ notes: The following set bonus changes will increase the average number of stacks of the (2) Set Bonus and cause the (4) Set Bonus to trigger less often, but provide more Agility when it does.
  • Aberrus (2) Set Bonus: Chance for Shadows of the Predator stacks to reset reduced by 15%.
  • Aberrus (4) Set Bonus: Now increases Agility by 8% (was 5%).

Evoker

• Preservation
• Developers’ notes: We would like there to be more of a reward to using Disintegrate over Living Flame as a Preservation Evoker, since it has a high Essence cost.
  • Disintegrate damage has been increased by 15% for Preservation Evoker.

Hunter

• Beast Mastery
  • All damage dealt by you and your pet’s abilities increased by 5%.

Mage

• Fire
  • Pyroblast damage increased by 5%. This does not apply to PvP combat.

  • The cooldown of Amplify Curse is now 60 seconds (was 30 seconds).
  • Teachings of the Satyr now reduces the cooldown of Amplify Curse by 15 seconds (was 10 seconds).

Warrior

• Arms
• Developers’ notes: Arms Warriors are not performing as well as we would like in single target or low-target-count situations.
  • All ability damage increased by 4%.
  • Fatality Fatal Mark damage increased by 15%.
  • Deep Wounds periodic damage increased by 5%.
  • Rend periodic damage increased by 5%.
• Protection
• Developers’ notes: Protection Warriors are not currently performing as competitively as we would like compared to most other tanks in terms of damage and survivability.
  • All damaging abilities increased by 8%.
  • Auto-attack damage increased by 10%.
  • Spell Block’s duration increased to 30 seconds (was 20 seconds).
  • Thunderlord now causes each enemy hit by Thunder Clap to reduce the remaining cooldown of Demoralizing Shout by 1.5 seconds, up to 4.5 seconds (was 1.0 seconds, up to 3.0 seconds).

Player versus Player

Druid

• Balance
• Developers’ notes: Balance Druids have been overperforming due to their ability to generate so much Astral Power and deal high damage by applying dots and casting Starfall repeatedly. We’d like to reduce the effectiveness of that playstyle since it’s difficult for opponents to stop. Goldrinn’s Fang also became much more effective in Embers of Neltharion, and includes some randomness and ability to score kills unexpectedly. Finally, Owlkin Adept has been a locked-in talent for a while now and has been propping up their control a bit more than we’re comfortable with.
  • Moonfire and Sunfire generate 4 Astral Power when cast in PvP combat (was 6).
  • Stellar Innervation increases Astral Power generation of Moonfire and Sunfire by 50% in PvP combat (was 100%).
  • Star Burst grants 8 Astral Power (was 15).
  • Owlkin Adept reduces the cast time of Cyclone and Entanglng Roots by 20% (was 30%).
  • Goldrinn’s Fang damage is reduced by 50% in PvP combat.
  • Wrath and Starfire deal 60% increased damage in PvP combat (was 50%).

Hunter

• Marksmanship
• Developers’ notes: Marksmanship Hunters have been underperforming in different forms of PvP content.
  • Aimed Shot damage increased by 25% in PvP combat (was 15%).
  • Rapid Fire damage increased by 25% in PvP combat (was 15%).
  • Arcane Shot damage increased by 25% in PvP combat (was 16%).

Priest

• Discipline
• Developers’ notes: Discipline has been more reliant on shields this season than we’d like. We’re increasing Atonement healing while bringing down the power of shields, with the goal of the preferred playstyle being an offensive one. We’re also targeting the mana reduction from Inner Light, as Discipline has been more mana efficient than we’d like.
  • Power Word: Shield now absorbs 15% less damage in PvP combat.
  • Inner Light now reduces the mana cost of the affected spells by 10% (was 15%).
  • Atonement healing is now 50% more effective in PvP combat (was 40%).

Mage

• Fire
• Developers’ notes: Glass Cannon is intended to have high risk and high reward with its gameplay, and we feel the risk is too low for the benefit it provides, especially when paired with Flamecannon.
  • Glass Cannon now decreases maximum health by 20% (was 15%)
  • Flamecannon now increases maximum health by 2% per stack (was 3%).

Monk

• Mistweaver
• Developers’ notes: Mistweavers have been overperforming compared to other healers, especially due to their mana efficiency.
  • Soulfang Infusion now regenerates 75% less Mana in PvP combat (was 50%).
  • Zen Spheres now cost 0.5% base Mana.
  • Enveloping Mist now heals for 5% more in PvP combat (was 20%).
  • Mistweaver Monks now regenerate 15% less Mana in PvP combat (was 10%).
• Windwalker
• Developers’ notes: Whirling Dragon Punch has felt underwhelming and we’d like it to feel impactful to use without being a major portion of a Windwalker’s damage profile.
  • Whirling Dragon Punch damage increased by 80% in PvP combat.

Shaman

• Enhancement
• Developers’ notes: There are a few talents that are leading to fast kills that can feel unfair when facing an Enhancement Shaman. We’re aiming to bring down the burst potential from cooldowns and increase sustained DPS.
  • Forceful Winds is now 75% effective in PvP Combat.
  • The damage increase to Lava Lash from Ashen Catalyst is now 33% effective in PvP combat.
  • Lava Lash now deals 35% increased damage in PvP combat (was 15%).
  • The Physical damage increase from Feral Spirit is now 33% effective in PvP combat.
  • The Fire, Frost, and Lightning damage increase from Elemental Spirits is now 50% effective in PvP combat.
  • Stormstrike now deals 75% increased damage in PvP combat (was 50%).
  • Windstrike now deals 75% increased damage in PvP combat (was 50%).
• Restoration
• Developers’ notes: We feel Restoration Shaman is in a good spot. Rain Dance wasn’t as valuable as we were anticipating, so we’re aiming to increase its viability.
  • Rain Dance now increases the healing done by Healing Rain by 30% (was 20%).
  • Rain Dance now reduces the mana cost of Healing Rain by 45% (was 30%).

Rogue

• Subtlety
• Developers’ notes: Burst damage from Subtlety has been higher than we’d like this season. We’re looking to keep the spec in a strong position while toning down their burst potential in short windows.
  • Secret Technique damage is now reduced by 33% in PvP combat (was 25%).
  • Shadowstrike and Backstab damage from Weaponmaster is now 50% effective in PvP combat.
  • Flagellation’s Mastery bonus is now 80% effective in PvP combat.
  • Dark Shadow is now 67% effective in PvP combat (was 80%).

Warlock

• Developers’ notes: Inquisitor’s Gaze has been dealing a sizeable portion of Warlock damage this season, and we’d like damage to come primarily from active spells.
  • Fel Barrage from Inquisitor’s Gaze now deals 40% reduced damage in PvP combat.
  • Developers’ note: The high frequency of Amplify Curse has been problematic in PvP combat.
  • The cooldown of Amplify Curse is now 60 seconds (was 30 seconds).
  • Teachings of the Satyr now reduces the cooldown of Amplify Curse by 15 seconds (was 10 seconds).
• Affliction
• Developers’ notes: We are increasing the damage of Unstable Affliction’s backlash effect to lessen the value of dispelling Affliction’s damage over time effects. It’s been lower than we’d like, in addition to healers gaining extra health this season. Additionally, we’re increasing Shadow Bolt damage as the reward for casting it is lower than we’d like.
  • Unstable Affliction backlash damage increased by 50%.
  • Shadow Bolt damage increased by 30% in PvP combat.
• Destruction
• Developers’ notes: Destruction’s sustained DPS has been high and we feel this is mainly due to Shadowburn’s high multiplier. We would like for instant casts to be strong but not be the primary way to land kills.
  • Conflagration damage is now reduced by 15% in PvP combat (was 9%).
  • Shadowburn damage is now increased by 15% in PvP combat (was 45%).
• Demonology
• Developers’ notes: Demonology’s healing reduction effect from their Felguard was one of the best healing reductions in the game, which didn’t feel appropriate given the class identity, how easy it is to apply, and how it can be applied to multiple targets at a time. Along with Affliction, we’re also increasing the damage of Shadow Bolt in PvP, as the reward for casting it is low.
  • Legion Strike reduces healing taken by 20% in PvP (was 25%).
  • Shadow Bolt damage increased by 30% in PvP combat.

In May, we revealed the cover art for Halo: Epitaph, illustrated by Chris McGrath.
Halo: Epitaph is the next novel by Kelly Gay, which will explore the final fate of the Didact in the wake of his defeat at the end of Halo 4 —and his subsequent composition in the Halo: Escalation comic series.

This month’s piece from The Artist’s Corner is an illustration by David Heidhoff from Halo Mythos, depicting the Desecration of Ulgethon—a first contact encounter that would ignite decades of conflict between the Sangheili and San’Shyuum known as the War of Beginnings.
When the San’Shyuum landed on the desolate world of Ulgethon, a planet that appeared entirely uninhabited, the first pioneer detachment identified a repository of Forerunner relics. Upon arriving at the site, however, they found it inhabited by the Sangheili, and they spoke with their leader—an Arbiter known as Vema ‘Togad, who would come to be known as the Prophet’s Bane.
After learning of their intentions to excavate the ancient relics, ‘Togad slaughtered the San’Shyuum delegation and sent their severed heads back to the Anodyne Spirit as a warning. And so, the War of Beginnings erupted, with the San’Shyuum taking their dreadnought to the skies where it was met by a blockade of Sangheili ships, which is the scene depicted in the artwork below.

I finished season 2 of opm recently and what to read the manga but I don't want to see all the old stuff again can I skip it and if I can where can I continue from?

Growing up, my friends bought themselves motorbikes, which was fun and the combined thrill of speed, adrenaline and having a woman behind (or the chances of having one) was enticing. (Don’t get me wrong, I have seen a woman with a man behind her in a bike as well. This post has nothing to do with that.) But, I never resonated with that tribe. Instead I always wanted to ride a bicycle. The idea of riding a 21 speed gear cycle was very dear to me. To this, my friends always made fun of me, which was not the most comforting experience. They thought the bicycle was a fragile instrument in contrast to a motorbike and didn’t have much to offer.
A few years later, I moved to where most Bengalis move - Bangalore, (I call it Bangali’lore almost synonymous to folklore of Bengali population migrating to Bangalore) and I started making decent money. Within sometime I had enough money to buy myself a mid-range motorbike. But, I didn’t buy it and instead bought a bicycle. In the last 2 months, I have ridden 280 kms on it and I can’t get enough of it. I have seen massive improvement in my health but that is a story for another day. The story today is that there is another Bengali guy where I work (intuitive stats - 1 out of 4 would be a Bengali) and he was the only one tagged with a mallu to belittle me for this decision, while the others were happy and encouraged me for getting the bicycle instead of the motorbike. Not that I cared anymore but, again?
Most people are aware that bicycles are an eco friendly alternative mode of transportation. But in my opinion, in my ‘premer shohor’, this needs increased cognizance.
