I wanted to get some general opinions on the Corolla Cross from people that would have more experience with the brand and/or the model than I do.
My partner and I are on the lookout for a new car (unfortunately in this market), and the Corolla Cross is pretty high on my list.
It's a good size, seems like good fuel economy, looks pretty as well, has all the features we want, and while slightly pricey for our liking, what isn't nowadays...
One reason Toyota is so high on my list is the track record for reliability, on top of the car meeting our list of needs/wants
Some of the more general complaints really don't seem that big of a deal to me, like the sluggish acceleration, because, well, I'm not looking to take this car to the track. As long as it can get to highway speeds in a reasonable time, that's fine.
What are your thoughts?

The ford Fiesta Se that I found is at 71k miles and has some minor damage to the rear. Doesn't look like it has a salvage title but it was sold to a fleet/lease company according to Carfax last year. Is that a bad thing? And there's mileage inconsistency according to Carfax. What does that mean exactly?

Bonjour tout le monde,
Depuis cette nuit, une grosse partie des étudiants de ma résidence ont vu leur dossier locatif (dans le cadre d'un renouvellement, c'est à dire rester d'une année a l'autre dans la résidence) annulé par le crous. La raison est que lors de la validation du renouvellement les étudiants auraient "rejeté une tache le 3 juin à 00:00".
AUCUN des étudiants n'a rejeté son dossier hier à minuit. Nous ne pouvons plus envoyer nos papiers pour remplir notre dossier, qui est considéré comme annulé et obsolète. C'est samedi, personne au CROUS ne nous répond et le partage des documents est limité dans le temps (nous sommes censés fournir les papiers avant fin de semaine prochaine, ce qui est impossible).
Des gens dans cette situation ? Est ce un bug général qui sera réglé? Quelque chose de normal ? J'ai eu vent de personne dans ce cas qui n'ont pas pu être re accepté mais ce n'est que du bouche à oreille. Je tiens à préciser que nous avions TOUS été accepté mais que le CROUS considère que nous avons TOUS annulé notre dossier de nous-mêmes cette nuit.
Edit : Apparemment c'est qu'ils se sont trompés sur les bails (du 09/23 au 08/24) mais comme nos apparts sont réquisitionnés par le crous pour les JO en juin (oui, nous sommes virés de chez nous en juin 2024 avec proposition de relogement, mais c'est super ça dites donc, moi je serais en plein milieu de mon stage de M2, j'aurais que ça a faire de déménager), ils annulent les dossiers de tous le monde pour modifier les dates. Aucune nouvelles de quand on aura un retour.

Normally visit in the fall and get a standard SUV for 4 days or so for in the high $300s give or take. I’ve been looking around july/aug timeframe and prices are around $700 for a Toyota Corolla or similar…for 4 days.

 | I really dislike the character boxes (JotL) that come with the game. The little baggies ripped open and everything kinda just barely fits and comes out a mess, so I made prototype character boxes. submitted by 3D20s to Gloomhaven [link] [comments] The cutting/glueing/writing etc is rough as I pulled it apart and reglued it several times to get the hinges working smoothly. The main card does fit but we only use those as something to hide lost cards/items under anyway. I intend on printing the xp/gold/perk sheet to fit the hinged lid. Everything fits and it closes smoothly but it is about twice as thick as the normal character box (due to foamcore thickness). Nothing falls out of the hinge gap. This isn't an issue for us as I've removed the hatchet box from the main box as we're running three players and three of these should fit fine with my box layout. Going to ponder it for a while and make prototype 2 later. Feedback more than welcome to help with that. I'll probably be adding a divider between the model and the item/modifier cards with a finger groove but they don't move around so it's not needed per se. |
