This is a silly and long reflection, although I hope people here can relate to it or find some sort of insight!
Chest surgery is tomorrow... I should be nervous but I'm not (probably due to never having gone through a major surgery before). I'm just a bit scared that the change is happening so soon and all at once! I know I won't regret it, but changing anything permanently in my life is a slightly fearful thought 🗿 And if the sun rises from the west and I do regret it, then it'll be my chance to get DDDDDD mega honkers.
Anyways, it's crazy that only 3 years ago I started thinking about my own gender and sexuality. Initially, I believed I was lesbian because I thought all masculinity was toxic (had bad male figures and friends in life). But, as I realized that femininity and masculinity weren't tied to gender, I slowly discovered that I couldn't accept myself as a feminine woman--which was why I always expressed myself as a tomboy. However, I actually loved being feminine as long as I saw myself as a boy; this identity made me infinitely happier than trying to stuff myself into the tomboy identity. I also came to the conclusion that masculinity by itself is not toxic and has its own wonderful qualities.
From all the learning and personal growth, I've come to find my identity for now. I am a bisexual trans man/nonbinary person! That's just my sexuality and gender identity though. I'm much, much more than that. We all are :)
I'm a bit stunned that things have come this far so quick. 4 years ago I never would have thought I would have anything to do with the LGBTQ+ community. I didn't know any terminology or how to be an ally in general. Now I know many queer people in real life and know how to support them!
I'm glad I had a friend who also began questioning and cracking her egg at around the same time. We accidentally encouraged each other just by hanging out haha.
I'm also unironically happy to have been on Reddit 😭😭🙏 I only actually started questioning it all when I made a post on another account and people immediately said I was trans. I refused to believe others knew me more than I did, so I started my own journey and thought I was lesbian... And after that I got a lot of help from many queer subreddits. Thank you to this subreddit as well! I didn't think I'd be able to find a place like this. I was afraid it'd be too specific of a space to ask for,, but nope, there are a lot of chill and positive people active here.

Some backstory on myself: I am a trauma survivor x2. Won’t go into detail unless asked as the stories are lengthy and somewhat gruesome. I came close to dying at 4yo and then again at 5yo. I was abused physically and verbally by my parents. I have PTSD, MDD, GAD, and some other kind of mental illness(es) that are undiagnosed. I’m 27yo (M), I have no friends anymore as they all either got married or moved away. I have no one to talk to and I feel like no one cares to listen when I do find someone I trust enough to open up to or it just pushes them away. I work and go home and the cycle repeats itself. I’ve lost interest in things that I once loved to do. I’ve been in bed throughout the weekends.
I just feel trapped, I’ve been stuck for quite a while now. I didn’t know what I wanted to do after high school and spent 3 1/2 years at home just existing. It got to the point where I felt like I needed a huge change in my life or else I was not gonna make it to the next morning. I did go back to school in 2017 and for a time it felt like things were going in the right direction. I got a job in medical and although I left for a brief period of time from being overwhelmed with the Pandemic then I returned early 2021.
I’ve seen some therapists that weren’t much help and doctors alike. I was on Sertraline for a year when I was 18 and then stopped because I felt better…I wasn’t better. Been on a roller coaster of thoughts and emotions since then until recently 4 months ago I felt I should get back on medication and have been back on it again. It helps with the anxiety and OCD and depression somewhat but I had to get the dosage raised because the depression was overpowering me.
I’ve always felt like I was a lost cause. I had one therapist give up on me and 2 doctors gave up on me, one of which was recent within the past couple weeks so I’ve been down about that especially because I really trusted this one enough to where I felt open and comfortable enough to start talking to them but it didn’t happen unfortunately.
I’ve been lonely for quite some time. My last relationship was 5 years ago come this November. I have a seriously hard time trusting people as people throughout my life have shown me that no one can be trusted. I’ve wanted someone to prove to me for the longest time I was worth fighting for. I want someone to not give up on me in my tough moments because they truly care and I’ve not found that. I do want what anyone else wants, to be cared for and loved and to be able to reciprocate back to them. I know that I have to be happy with myself first before looking for anyone else but the problem is not that I’m not happy with myself, sure I can be alone as I have been for years at a time but after a while being by yourself really affects you mentally. The lack of human interaction, the lack of empathy, the lack of affection, the lack of understanding and forming meaningful relationships really takes a huge toll on the mind and all I have been feeling lately is emptiness, a void that can not be filled.
Lately my emotions have been tuned way down and it really takes something stimulating for me to feel anything positive. It could be a side effect from the medication or could be a disorder I’m unaware of. I feel like I’m just falling endlessly into the dark abyss and I don’t know where or when the bottom is.
For the first time ever 4 months ago I sank so low I lost the last bit of hope I had which prompted me to get on medication again. I feel like there is nothing left for me here and feel like I’m finished. I don’t know what the next step is or what it looks like.
I’ve been recently thinking maybe I should go back to school again and further my degree but idk if I have it in me to do it again or if it will even change anything as part of me feels like I would just be doing it to fill my time to get my mind focused on something else as a distraction, idk.

Before I asked her, she was putting so much effort into the relationship. This convo happened a month ago and ever since, she's been putting a lot less effort into our relationship, but we are still in touch. Hi all, I’m an 80% travel engineer in IT. The nature of my role they asked me to get a credit card for expensing items due to travel. For the first 3 months, we would simply book using whichever agency we liked. This not only gave flexible options to us but the ability to earn bonus points with our card issuer. They hired an HR lady and thought they’d save $$ if they mandated us to us Altour.
Its causing stress to me because now the flights are not available as they used to be, expensing hotels require me to get paper receipts from the desk, and the platform only provides estimates, not actual charges.
And Im only getting 1 times points instead of 5 cause now Im not booking thru my CC provider.
How do I let them know of my thoughts?
The company is a startup and has no 401k. Using our own card benefits was incentivizing us. Now we have to deal with their platform.

I guessed right that there would be a third phase but I didn't expect how scary it would be, I went full noob mode and stuck my back against the 8 o'clock corner and blocked and blocked.
The damage was only done by Charged shot, Demeter Call and Ares Cast (with legendary boon)
The Soundtrack was absolutely amazing for the third phase.

• I will be doing game development with this pc. Engines would be Unreal and Unity mainly. My work primarily focuses around level design and scripting.

• I'm assuming the build will cost me around $1,400-$1,800 but obviously if what I am looking for can be built for cheaper that is also appreciated.

• I need a case and windows operating system. I still use Windows 10 on my laptop but I'm most likely going to have to switch to Windows 11. I am considering considering to get a much wider monitor because my current monitor makes the windows of the game engines very cramped and I am getting tired of hooking up multiple monitors, but I am not considering the monitor as a part of the build at this time.

• United States, East Coast. There is a Microcenter an hour away from me so it wouldn't be too much of a hassle to get the components myself.

• I have a Keychron K2 keyboard and a cheap logitech mouse (m100). My monitor is a viewsonic 1080p 144hz (but I cant find a model name).

Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)

• I will likely need an SSD or two with a good amount of storage (I'd prefer to have around 3-4TB). Components that I also think would be important is good RAM (Maybe 32GB if possible). I also know that good GPU will be important to this build and same goes with the CPU but I have only been familiar with NVIDIA and Intel products. It has been a while since I kept up with newer components so this is something I might need more explaining or recommendations for what is currently good.

What type of network connectivity do you need? (Wired and/or WiFi) If WiFi is needed and you would like to find the fastest match for your wireless router, please list any specifics.

Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-towefull-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?

• Mid-ToweFull-Tower would be preferable. I don't care for lighting and color as much, though it would be neat. I'm cool with a standard case but I would also be interested in a case that gave it a sci-fi style.

Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?

• Yes, likely Windows 11.

• Another aspect of the build I want to ensure is good cooling. My room can get warm and I need a case that is going to keep everything cold.

My car insurance is due for renewal this time next month and I was doing a few cursory searches on the usual comparison websites and the prices right now are outrageous. And to top it off I've just received my renewal email from Hastings Direct to compound the issue. I am 40 y/o male, have 2 year NCB, no points on my licence and yet my premium is going from £1172.98 to £1722.99 on a 2016 16 plate Citroen Grand C4 Picasso! The comparison websites were a little better, but still showing a jump to around £1350 - I thought the more NCB you had the cheaper the insurance, guess I was wrong there as the prices have only increased for me over the last 3 years.

Soon we'll have a female version of the Blueprint food and supplements, but I know a lot of females are already following, also for the future vision. Dating is hard enough already. All I wanted to do today was spend some time in the company of a friend or fellow human being. A mix of chatting, listening to music or perhaps binge watch a series. It would be great in person but online would also be fine as we could have streamed the series.
One friend is not feeling well, so that is a no can do.
I check the 3 contacts on my phone. Great, one of them must have changed their number. One is not responding to text messages. The other did reply to my suggestion with just "Nah, cba." (Can't Be Arsed) I insist that you do not try to think of an excuse to let me down gently.
The next option use Reddit to find someone, what a joke as no one is interested in any form of contact with a male my age.
The final option is Discord and one of the servers set up for like minded people looking to make friends. Some of the servers have sections specifically for meeting others and enjoying music or series together with another person or small group.
I started trying at 10 am and it is now very nearly 7:30 pm. In those 9.5 hours I have not found a friend or a human being that is interested in chatting, music, watching a series or any combination of the three.
Is it just bad luck? Is it just bad timing? Is it too shorter notice? or perhaps it is just me?

I'm 35 and have been dealing with IBS for most of my life now, and it really makes my life hell. But I don't know how common my symptoms are and if they align with other IBS sufferers.
Basically, I have days where I go to the bathroom 8 or 9 times throughout the day (usually the first half of the day) and it is uncomfortable and miserable. The thing is, 90% of the time my stools aren't unformed. They are frequent, urgent, rarely satisfying, and soft. Sometimes I will get a normal Bristol chart looking log, but most of the time when I sit down, it's like a pile of smaller, softer logs.
Then I might feel like I can't go anymore, get up, start washing my hands, and feel like I have to go again. And if I were to sit down, I would have no problem doing the same thing again. There isn't any constipation involved, and I rarely sit down and can't go because of a false alarm or something. I honestly don't know where it all comes from since I'm underweight and don't eat enough as it is.
Other times I will get back to my work desk or something and immediately realize I still have to go. It's like it's never done, and fiver supplements only make it worse (I've tried 3 major brands recommended by my gastro doc).
I've tried basically everything, so it would be a shorter list to say what I haven't tried, which is basically just Viberzi.
Does anyone have any advice on what could be going on with me? Do you have similar symptoms? Any tips?

We do sometimes also stay together for 30v30. Everyone will get 4-6 days to play during CWL. Medals and inclusion for all! Reddit Zulu has competed up to Champs 2. Both clans are consistently in Masters or higher.
  
• Event access: Zulu participants in nearly all RCS Events! Every scrim and Potluck clan has featured some of our Zulu Players! These include a variety of both fun and competitive wars where you can hang out with others, learn new strategies and have a great weekend. As a member of Zulu, you are eligible to join anything the RCS offers. Whether it be fun wars and scrims or beatdowns against other clan systems! This includes being able to join the 2000 member RCS group chats.
  
• Clan Games: Have maxed all clan games with days to spare! No minimum required...we are active enough, we haven't needed to institute one :)

Clan Requirements:

• First, and foremost, you must be active. We expect you to be making all war attacks for any war you're in, to make donates and to be either actively raiding, upgrading or warring.
• Related to the first point: no rushed bases. Everyone must meet the following:"

• Everyone: Offense should be appropriate for your level and developed such that you have a reasonable chance to 3 star your own base.
  
• Th13: You must have a minimum of 60/60/40 heroes or better. You must have a lab of a mid th12 or higher and vast majority of defenses built to th12 levels or higher.
  
• Th14: we will ask you to have 70/70/50/20 heroes or better and most of th13 complete.
  
• Th15: 80/80/55/30 minimum, four pets at level 10.
  

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You must be available to participate in the mandatory weekend wars (declared Fridays). We war 3 times a week. Wars are declared Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Participation for the mid-week wars (declared Monday and Wednesday) is optional and members can opt-in or -out of the midweek wars, but must have all heroes awake if opting in. You must use both attacks for any war in which are you participating!
• You may have heroes down and still war with us on weekends. We expect you to be an active clasher working to improve yourself, and we understand that requires upgrades! That said, we still win most of our wars!
• We are a social clan at heart! We don't have strict social expectations, but it doesn't hurt to hop into game chat once in a while to say hi to your fellow clan friends. Discord is required

On Friday at 9am, I discovered a massive leak at the water meter. I contacted our city water department and my property manager. Within an hour, the city was out and shut off the water at the meter. There is a pipe on our side of the meter that has come unattached. The city person advised me that it would be an easy fix and cost a few hundred dollars but since it’s on our side of the meter he can’t touch it.
I contacted the PM back again and let them know that the water was off but I needed someone out ASAP to fix the pipe. This is a nationwide company so I’m just talking to reps in a call center. I stressed to them that we are a family of four, including 2 young children and 2 large dogs, we live in the desert and it is summer and we have absolutely no access to running water in the home. They assured me they would get someone out. I called every hour on Friday. Finally at 3:30pm, someone showed up but they were told to shut off the water, they were not authorized or equipped to do any repair. I called the PM again and asked about hotel accommodations as we could not even flush toilets. I let them know that I would have to bring in water from the pool to fill toilet basins so we could use the facilities. They forwarded my concerns and assured me again that someone would call me back. Again, no call back.
Saturday, I called again at 8:30 am. Same thing. Forwarded my concerns and said they would see about scheduling someone to come out. At 10:30, they said they had posted the job on a job board and would let me know. At 3pm, I booked a hotel room for us and emailed the PM and said I would be deducting the amount from Next months rent as the home is uninhabitable. They advised me to check with my renters insurance for coverage and let them know. Funnily enough, they administer my renters insurance policy so I let them know that and have heard nothing back.
Today….nothing. No phone calls, emails or texts from the PM. We have the hotel booked for tonight as well so I’m hoping they will get someone here tomorrow to fix it.
I’d just like to know, am I in the right here that they should pay for the hotel? Every time I google it it talks about hot water but I haven’t found anything about running water. To me, they should pay. I can guarantee that if I called plumbers I could get someone out here within the hour. They just don’t want to pay the higher weekend rates.
