Perhaps this is to ease fledging economy, but it seems to me the buying price of one unit is lower than the upkeep cost incurred during the time needed to produce one unit. And this is even discounting the cost of raw materials!

A bit of important pre-history: I've been working on a sound company(renting speakers/consoles/lights and many more) and have learnt a lot in that job to the point where I can say I can handle an event my own. Our current city major (NOT my uncle), everytime there is an event on our town, rents gear from this company(which I'm in aswell). My uncle is going for city major for the first time. The owners of the company are voting for the current major and not my uncle. And now my uncle says that if he is the next major (elections are in less than 10 months), he won't be renting from that company but he wants to buy the stuff instead and put me to cover all the events.
And the actual question is: Should I help my uncle buy all the stuff and me cover all the events for him with no relation to the company? Or say that I can't help him and have a good relationship with all the company members but don't help my uncle?
I find it a bit of hypocrisy to have learnt a whole job from someone else and then just leaving because they are of a different line-up. (I can't vote yet)

So back story.. when I was young, maybe around 14 I was obsessed with ghosts. I would research about them, watch shows about them, and just had this all over curiosity.
Within a few months I started hearing noises, having disturbing dreams.i would constantly hear footsteps when I was home alone, and things falling or doors slamming. I would constantly have sleeo paralysis dreams but never saw anything yet.
Finally one day I woke up around 3am and the energy just felt off in my room. Like someone was around me watching me.
It's the middle of winter in Illinois. The moon was out and it was snowing outside, so the moonlight was shining in through my window. I finally muster up the courage to look over my covers and 3 feet away from me is this solid black figure. It was like 7 feet tall. It kind of looked like a person with a draped a blanket over it. The texture was also very rough. It nearly gave me a heart attack. So I put my covers over my head and fell back asleep.
I woke up in the morning and thought maybe I was dreaming. Later in the day I start telling my sister about it while sitting in my room and then all the lights in my room shut off. So we all get up and leave and start screaming.
Later that night I go to bed, and then I wake up around the same time.
Before I open my eyes I can tell I'm not facing the wall. I slowly open my eyes and that same figure is standing a foot away from me. I go back under the covers for a few minutes, and then double check to make sure I'm not dreaming and it's still there.
I end up telling my mom and she sages the house and that was the end of that.

So I just moved into a new apartment, and this is my first time ever living alone. I just can't stop thinking about this creepy ass face in my mind. Just imagine like the girl from the grudge. My closet is giving me really weird vibes. I'm just really afraid if I keep thinking about it the same thing will end up happening.

As mentioned I'm a shutin, work & home has been my entire life, i don't socialize much with friends and neighbours. I'm very bad with faces.
One of our neighbour's wife who moved here maybe a year ago Dropped by our house asking for my mom , i didn't recognise her and called my mom and told my mom idk who she is .
My brother saw her and talked to her , a min after she left he dragged my by the collar to the kitchen and started yelling at me on how i didn't know who she was , he insulted lot of vile things, i just started at him a d told him not to talk to me and left to my room , which he kept blocking me from doing. I knew he would keep escalating it.
He kept following me and kicked my room door open and locked me with him in my room. Asked me the same question again, i said idk who she and told him to get out . He started insulting me and my manhood, he kept pushing me to fight him. I just stared at him without any reaction so he pulled down my shorts and told wear a saree.
I pushed him to the wall and said we aren't kids to keep fighting, he them mocked me that i won't fight because I'm too scared that i know if i hit him i would die the next second. i told him I can just as easily kill him or worse asked him to stop talking with me again.
He continued to mock and push me around, i forced my way out to leave the room. he then strangled me till i nearly passed out And mocked me as i got up.
It's a big house no one heard the fight, i left my room and called my mom to kick him out he's become insane, his wife was also there i didn't care . I told what he just did.
I insulted him and he doubled down and punched my face and head multiple times, and my mom told his wife to restrain him. his wife took him to his room.
I called my dad and told him what happened on speaker so that he woul know I'm exposing him to the family.
He just threw insults as i talked. I overheard his wife telling to ignore me all together or whatever i might have missheard .
Some context from his pov : He has Numerous time gloated that he can ignore me, and does what he does because it's his responsibility and no one will correct me like he does. his wife doesn't want him to meddle in my affairs because of the way he acts he will be painted as the bad guy .
I've cooled down now ,idk how i could have avoided that fight. I basically ignore him whenever I'm being insulted, it used to work now he gets physical for petty things.

I’d like to preface this discussion with an aknowledement that, yes… This is a beta… and Yes… It is level 25… and yes we don’t have access to the class specialization. I understand that this is in no way indicative of Endgame balance.
That being said, I think we can still analyze the current state of the Druid and its design in comparison to other classes (Mostly rogue and sorc) and try to help the devs understand why the class is getting so much flack for its playstyle. I hope to start a discussion about what we think can be done to help improve the FEEL of the class’ base kit.

1. Inappropriate tuning for the playstyle

• As it stands, the class is extremely slow in almost all of its animations with the exception of a select few werewolf skills. Both Sorc and Rogue feel tight, and when I press an ability, the projectile or my character are hitting enemies almost instantly. The downtime between casts on these 2 classes in nearly non-existent in comparison to the druid. To help illustrate this we’ll look at core spells.
• Lets look at a good “problem ability” to help depict the issue the class faces. It’s not infequent that (without legendary) Tornado does 0 damage to your target because of pathing. It also doesn’t help that the ability has a 40 spirit cost meaning you can only cast it twice before having to then cast another 3-5 basic abilities to then recast another two tornadoes. Adding ontop of this that the ability only does 49% damage at rank 5 when it does hit means that our overall DPS using this ability is relatively low in comparison to our other classes’ core abilities. This also isn’t factoring in projectile speed, taking roughly 1-2 seconds to potentially even reach its target from cast.
• Lets compare that with a commonly picked sorc core ability, chain lightning. When you cast chain lightning, it INSTANTLY flys from your character to your target, and then instantly bounces from one target to another with no potential to miss and the ability to rehit the same target multiple times. The ability, at rank 5, deals 59% damage per bounce up to 6 bounces and costs 35 mana (An auto generating resource). The downtime between casts is filled with other more meaningful spells that don’t have to be basic generating spells.
• What can we do to make tornado feel better to press, in the same way that it feels good to press chain lightning? Well, first, we need guarenteed instant damage. If I have to invest nearly half of my spirit (a resouce I have to manually generate) it doesn’t feel good when it does no damage or takes a large amount of time to deal damage. A simple solution to this is to have tornado spawn where my mouse/enemy currently is. This simple change makes the ability FEEL much better to press. (There may be a legendary for this,I’m not sure, however, legendaries shouldn’t exist to make skills usable. They should be usable and feel good at a baseline and be improved fom there.) However, at a 40 spirit cost, it’s not enough to just have the damage guarenteed and instant. It needs to either be meaty or have a reduced cost. It feels terrible to have to cast 3-5 basic spells at a snails crawl pace to be able to cast only 2 tornadoes. In the time it takes me to cast 8 tornadoes, a sorc can cast roughly 12-14 chain lightnings at a higher dmg return per cast, all while being able to cast other spells that aren’t locked to basic abilities. That brings me to my next point.

1. Basic abilities and spirit generation -As a class that has to generate spirit with basic abilities and then dump all of that spirit in roughly 1 or 2 seconds, it HAS to be quick to regenerate and satisfying. -As it stands, i’d say that 75% of the time in combat is spent spamming generators, feet planted, doing next to 0 damage. THIS FEELS BAD -Classes such as rogue and sorc use basic abilities in their downtime between energy/mana dumps and cooldowns for non-resource abilities. They rarely are casting a basic ability more than 2 times in a row (Rogue combo point exception). THIS FEELS GOOD.

• How can we fix this? Well, luckily I think there are a couple solutions here and they are simple numbers games. Either we make basic abilities FEEL GOOD by increasing their cast speed, damage, projectile speed, and target limit. Or we can simply have them generate far more resource. (Preferrably both here). -As it stands the “Heart of the wild” and “Abundance” passives that help with spirit are 100% mandatory with how much core spells cost and STILL the class is plagued with resource management issues. -More time spent spamming basic abilities is less time dealing meaningful damage and leads to boring gameplay that feels sluggish and unimpactful. I hope this is an issue they resolve innately in the class and not try to fix with legendaries.

1. DoTs and Companions

• Wow are these underwhelming. Even with a legendary that turns wolfs into werewolfs and increases their damage by a whopping 160%, they are hitting for roughly 40-60 damage at level 25 with roughly 550 attack power. As soon as you’re able to access the hydra as a sorc at level 12 you’re already doing more damage than that at a much higher rate without an empowering legendary…AT LEVEL 12.
• It’s not even close to compare the summons between Sorc and Druid, the numbers are simply aggregious. Starting at 8% damage for wolfs compared to the hydra’s 30% per fireball at rank 1. It really seems like there are different dev teams playing a different game designing the numbers for these classes. Not to mention that the hydras just FEEL GOOD with the projectile speed and how responsive they are to summon. Compare that to the ai of the wolfs that chase enemies just to stand still and miss an auto attack on an enemy every 2 seconds… It’s really not even in the same ball park. -DoTs… The poison builds simply need to be buffed. If my damage in an ARPG is being dealt over an 8 second period of time, I’d like for it to do something meaningful in the 1-2 seconds the mob is supposed to live for. DoTs are always supposed to be high damage over a long period of time. For some reason the poisons are currently tuned to do less damage over 8 seconds than most other class’ instant abilities. This is fundamentally wrong on so many levels, however has an easy fix. BUFF numbers or make total DoT time less. (Or both, what mob lives for over 8 seconds in an ARPG?)

1. Abilities don’t feel synergistic

• For a caster druid, a majority of the spells they use are supposed to be ranged and also knock targets away. For example, Cylcone Armor, Boulder, and cataclysm. This is fine, however, it’s expcted that you also take spells such as hurricane that require you to be near your target to deal damage. Overall, it just feels like they didn’t develop the base kit with it playing in a way that feels natural for how you would expect it to play. It feels like they just had ideas for abilities and threw them into the kit without thinking about how it feels to play using those specific abilities together.

Conclusion: -Thankfully, the class has a lot of simple changes that it needs in terms of just flat numbers to make the damage actually impactful, however, I’m hesitant about how Blizzard will go about this and I’d like to take this opportunity to really clarify the issue.

• If the class plays slow, IT BETTER HIT HARD… If I have to spend 3-5 seconds to build up resource to spend on 1 or 2 abilities, those abilities better FEEL GOOD. OR we can simply make basic abilities FEEL GOOD/impactful to use by picking up the pace/damage/target cap so that we don’t spend majority of combat spamming them feeling horrible.

Please, Blizzard. Take this constructive criticism and make this beloved class FEEL GOOD to play. It doesn’t have to be “overtuned”… It just has to be viable and play in a way that makes players enjoy their time playing it.

So i have been on accutane for 6 months now and have seen some improvements but there has not been a single day when i have had not a new acne popping up. Accutane was my last hope but the way it's going i don't think it'll work for me. I had so much acne in the last 6 mo ths that i have blackish pigmentation all around my chin and nose. The funny thing is i have never had a pimples near my cheeks my entire life. Only around my nose and chin and some on forehead every once in a while. So do any of you have any thoughts? On the same boat as me?? Wanna just die?

I can’t explain why but I am not interested in having a relationship with my biological father. I am 24f and come from a large mexican family. I have 3 siblings who all have the same father. I was born out if an affair when my stepdad (who I see as my real dad) was out of the states for months. My mom never visited him in the months he was gone so it was pretty obvious to my entire family that I am not my stepdad’s biological daughter. Growing up, my mom would sneak away from my stepdad to take me to see my bio father. After each visit, my mom would teach me lies to say to everyone about where we had been that day, making sure our stories aligned. This was every week. Middle school, my bio father reveals he has another daughter and him and my mom wanted us to meet. I didn’t want to but they made us meet anyways. They had promised me beforehand that if I no longer wanted to spend time with her that I didn’t have to but she was there every time I saw him despite the many times I said I didn’t want her there. He wasn’t a bad guy, he’d buy me whatver i wanted or needed. Suddenly in high school, my mom started inviting him to family gatherings and introducing him to everyone. I was left blind sided. She made me keep him a secret all my life until that moment, like wtf? Fast forward to a year ago, I was still guilted by my mom to see him. She would cry and say it was all her fault and i’d agree to see him time and time again. She’d speak on my behalf to him after i ignored his calls and messages and would invite him to her house randomly when i would visit and force interactions like that. Every birthday party I had, even though i told her i didn’t want him there, he’d show. 100% invited by mom. The vibe would instantly change when he’d show up. My siblings are on my mom’s side and they all try to convince me to have a relationship with him. They all say i’m in the wrong for avoiding him.

I just wanted to make a little post to at least get a stupid little story out of my mistake so I don’t know how many people have noticed or if it’s a recurring thing or if I’m just blind but in the little potion spell boat thing at home u can buy permanent resizing spells for 10 regular candles and u can choose to get either bigger resizing spell or smaller spell but me and a friend wanted to get bigger but I don’t have any ascended candles so I brought the other ones and I was happy when I found out they were permanent (if u do buy them make sure there the right ones) than after my friend had left I was just collecting wax and I met another player who was taller but not like adult spell taller so I decided to use another bigger resizing spell my mistake was that I didn’t check before I used the spell I ended up using a random resizing spell that made me smaller than after realising my mistake went to fix it by using the right resizing spell but made the same mistake as before and used a 20 minute adult spell I tried to use my Chibi mask until it wore off that’s when I found out the adult spell stopped the Chibi effect from working I wasted so many spells and I’m so mad about it even if they were spells I wasn’t planning on actually using but now I have to wait 20 minutes or so to fix this

I’ve talked about working a lot on my feet and that what I do for work means I can’t take any of my eds meds. Well this is a rant about that. I had to get new work shoes recently because working on your feet getting 15k+ steps a day, well shoes take a beating. The new shoes I got were required to be non slip reinforced toe all black tennis shoes. All new dress-code that was extremely freaking limiting. I ended up being sent a link from my work for where to buy them and they had some options so I went with the most supportive and also breathable pair. They feel amazing on my feet, but after a double today, my whole left leg is swollen and my tendons in my leg are so tight my knee won’t bend. I am in excruciating pain and I have muscle relaxers that would help, only I work another double tomorrow and if I take them, I won’t be able to wake up until after my first shift because they knock me out. I’ve tried Tylenol, ibuprofen, heat and ice, I have some other pain killers but any of my prescription will again make it so I can’t work. I explained my medical issues to my job and even though there are positions I am trained in that would take the load off as well as people who could and would take over for me, they won’t switch me. I asked if I could wear different styles of work shoes but no. I have tried other meds but due to allergies my options are slim. I am in so much pain and there is nothing I can do.

Did the Bridgerton S2 wedding contain clues through colour?

Reddit user fbc1984 brings up a scene in S2 where Kate is holding a bolt of red fabric whilst Edwina is trying on outfits, speculating that Kate liked Red and would have worn it for special occasions, such as her wedding. I believe the scene being referred to is from episode 5. Edwina is being fitted for her wedding dress in the modiste's shop and is talking about the wedding and living in London, near the end of the scene we see a wide shot showing Kate sitting and holding a bolt of Red and Gold fabric.
Another Reddit user in the post, (I would like to provide credit, however I will not because at this stage I do not have permission to name them), commented that they had read where in India it is traditional for brides to wear Red, and white is a mourning colour. This got me thinking, with all of the symbolism in Bridgerton, were the bolt of fabric Kate was holding, and Kate in white during Anthony's daydream at the wedding, not to mention Edwina (as an Indian woman) wearing white symbolic?
We know that the costume designer used a combination of colour and fabric for Kate to symbolise her emotional shifts towards falling in love, so if we stay with the idea of colour symbolism in the clothing then I think the wedding was very symbolic of both the emotions of the parties involved, and pointing to who the true bride was.
As both Kate and Edwina grew up in India, I don't believe either would have worn white to get married in (though Edwina was a possibility with an English mother), due to white being a colour that would be associated with funerals in India, so I would like to think it was deliberate for the Bridgerton costume designer to dress them both in white bridal gowns during the ill fated wedding.
I think Edwina wearing white was not only signalling her assimilation into English culture, but also in the context of her having been raised in India it could be seen as her wearing a colour of mourning and attending a funeral, not a wedding. Combine the colour significance in Indian culture with the choice of song used for the walk down the aisle (Sign of the Times by Harry Styles), and you have all the elements of sadness not joy that should be associated with a wedding. For those unaware, The Sign of the Times is a song inspired by a mother dying in childbirth, it is from the point of view of the mother telling her child to go forth and conquer without her, a rather dark subject for a wedding song. However, this symbolism of death and mourning could also be to signal Edwina finally realising that Anthony does not love her (and never will), and the death of her idealism and innocence.
Further to the symbolism of death and mourning surrounding Edwina walking up the aisle, we see Anthony fantasise Kate is his bride, and she is also dressed in white. Whilst for Anthony it is bittersweet, the woman he truly loves appearing before him in a white wedding dress, for Kate it is more symbolic that she is in white. It was established very early in the season that Kate was very connected to her culture and rejected English customs (and Tea), as such it is hard to believe that Kate would wear an English style wedding dress in a mourning colour, so with that in mind was it deliberate that Kate was in white, to symbolise her mourning her lost love, lost youth, and the life she wanted?
This brings us back to the initial question Reddit user fbc1984 asked, would Kate have worn red for her wedding?
The scene referenced (and described above) is centred around Edwina's wedding and marriage, Edwina is being fitted for her dress and is standing in a white gown (mourning), whilst Kate is seated holding the bolt of Red and Gold cloth (celebratory). It seems to coincidental to have been a random choice of the director for Kate to be holding that particular bolt, as such I believe it was signalling that Kate was the true bride.

To add context, this was actually a couple months ago at this point. I met a girl at my work who was outrageously kind and open with me, we spent weeks together, eating lunch, and so on taking about her personal life.
I mistook this kindness as likeness, and i became infatuated with this girl. My girlfriend at the time ended up finding out and she left me(deserved). Which i was okay with, because i ended up loving this women i met at work. But the girl from work stopped talking to me once i admitted my feelings.
I know i misunderstood her feelings, i know i shouldn’t have felt these feeling for another while being in a relationship.
I hate myself now, i can’t go to job interviews, my family friend even got me a job at a restaurant near me and i didn’t go.. I think i could use some therapy, most likely more. I’m terrified of meeting people now. I can’t leave my room, i think this is how people become homeless.
Please if you believe in some form of higher power, let it speak through you to give me strength.
I know this is pathetic and probably not even the right subreddit but this is a hail mary at this point.
TL;DR I can’t accept my mistake, i need help getting through this.

Starts off with a investigatophysiologist from a 'special ops' division going to the biggest prision to interview a criminal who reveals a myseterious object causing the criminals wife to summon a demon and get possessed. Object found in basement of new home they live in. She kill their kids while he was out chopping firewood. Guy comes back and hacks wife to bits after she tries to attack him. Guy kills her and fights the demon in the living room. Manages to kill it with the axe and burns the entire house down to kill the 'evil' based on the legends of the old house they bought and the shit he's just seen. Court sends him to prision where he tells the investigator (MC) about this. Is this a intresting opening and please review what I've done so far. Thanks for any tips.

Novak Merlock sat in the back of a military jetty heading towards one of the countries' most dangerous places. The notorious Hexton Island Prison housed at least ten-thousand criminals behind its pallid gray walls and its four towering watchtowers that stood proudly in the four corners of the square-shaped prison were armed with heavy-duty machine gun turrets. A garnish of razor-sharp barb-wire lined across the top of the walls. It looked mancing and dangerous, reflective of the kind of people it held. Behind him the city harbor shrunk as the boat went ever-closer to Hexton Prison.
The two armed guards handed Novak a waiver that he needed to sign to be allowed into the prison.
"Hello, sir. You need to sign this waiver to be allowed inside the prison and speak to the prisoner that your case requires. Legally, we need to explain the terms of the waiver to you before you sign it. Do you understand ?," inquired one of the guards.
"Understood," replied Novak, taking a pen out of his blazer pocket.
"The most important details are that there is a risk of being injured or killed by the prisoners, that you must follow all instructions given by the military personnel, and that you are not allowed to bring anything that could be used as a deadly weapon. Additionally, everything about your interaction will be recorded and could be handed over to other state officials. If you comply, you can fill the waiver," stated the other guard.
"Alright, I comply with the terms," asked Novak
Novak skimmed through the terms written on the paper that the guard had just explained. Before putting his name, purpose for visiting and signature down on the waiver before handing it back to the guard. The guard slipped it into a wooden box before pulling the latch down. The guard held onto the box for the remainder of the journey.
A while later Novak was standing in the office building of the prison getting his ID checked while he was being searched head-to-toe by guard with a metal detector and a regular pat down search. The only items he was allowed in was his notepad and a stubby short pen-ink refill tube that was provided by the prison. Before finally being allowed to pass through a series of doors into the main structure of the prison where the inmates were held.
Led by a private escort of five muscular guards armed with a baton and small riot shield. Novak walked through a labyrinth of cells. Contained behind bars, lived people in orange jumpsuits who had committed truly horrific acts without a morsel of regret for their actions. An aura of danger emanated off them, it wafted into the hallway. Novak even after years of dealing with criminals was still anxious about being near them. Though he never showed it. Novak revised the specific questions he would be asking to the certain prisoner who had the dubious honor of meeting with Novak- accredited to be one of the best in his line of work. Novak had pedantically read through the case file at the agency headquarters and memorized the majority of it.
After walking through a maze of cells he was led into an interrogation room where a prisoner had been seated in a metal chair bolted to the floor. His hands were bound in thick handcuffs which were attached to a bolted metal table by a metal chain with a carabiner on the end. The criminal's legs were tightly bound with a pair of ankle-cuffs. Novak took a seat opposite him as instructed by a guard. The stocky man wearing an orange jumpsuit had pale skin, greasy curls of brown hair and piercing emerald eyes that looked straight into your soul. He had a slight crooked smile when the door opened, showing off his amber-stained teeth. The man in orange sat up unnaturally still and straight.
The guards left the room but stood outside but looked through a window in the door.
“ Abiram Pierce. Could you tell me about what happened at your home on the 23rd of April 2012,” Novak inquirered

Two nights ago I was feeding sweet boy and he got really excited and tried to jump into a drawer I was closing quickly - so it smashed is front paw and caused him to fall and his back claws cut deep into the cabinets. He ran into the bedroom tail puffed up and hissing at me. After many treats I got him to calm down and have dinner.
Last night he was back to his normal self, except the moment I stood in front of that drawer at feeding time his mood switched on a dime and he ran back to the bedroom hissing. Now it seems like he won’t go near that part of the apartment and his very clingy with me.
Tonight I made sure to avoid that drawer so he didn’t run away but his sister was her usual self meowing for food at dinner, he (usually the more aggressive one) hid under the dining room table until I put the food down.
I am really distraught I caused some kind of emotional trauma to this kitty. And was wondering if anyone had any ideas to help him get back to normal?
He had a very slight limp on the first day but that seems to be going back to normal.
