Nothing is unhackable, but this is pretty close.
I was listening to random Twitter spaces the other day, and this dude on Twitter, @M4573RCH was saying the best technique was to set up a multisig with 7 wallets which you own. It's a super pain in the butt, and it's going to take me like three hours today but I think it's worth it for the security and peace of mind.
First, type websites yourself. Don't click any links when dealing with your wallets. Don't even click the ones I'm putting in this message. You don't know me. Don't trust random Internet strangers trying to help others and get some them moons. Just don't. Also, actually DYOR and don't just take my word for it.

Myetherwallet.com is the site the video suggested to use to create a paper eth wallet.
Now do that six more times.
Put all 7 on a multisig, like a gnosis safe or equivalent, with 2 being required for signature.
Hide all the seed phrases in separate spots. This is your long term storage so don't keep those seed phrases together. Bank deposit box, hidden spot in house, other spots etc. Don't keep them all in the same building. This part is difficult yes, and not 100% realistic for everyone. But you get the idea, do do your best. If you had unlimited money, one seed phrase hidden in a bank vault, in an ancient unmapped underground city, guarded by Data from the Goonies style booty traps, each located on a different continent. So yes, just do your best.
Because of those signatures being needed, nothing can leave that multisig unless you really mean it.
Don't put these wallets on more than one device, ever. For example wallet A is on your computer, wallet B is on your phone. Wallets C - G are stored away never being in either of these devices. This is so someone couldn't access the vault by just having your phone and two wallets being on the phone. They need both things and if you want you can get a burner phone or device and require three sigs.
There is a caveat, certain wallets and vaults might have problems with staking, or other contract functions so you def need to ask the contract owner if they wrote it to interact with a gnosis safe. Not all do but it's starting to get incorporated into more contracts.

Salary Cap

The upper limit is $83.5M (projected), and the lower limit is $61.0M (projected). Though you are allowed to exceed the upper limit by 10% in the offseason, we will require you to have a plan for how to get back under the cap by the end of the sim.

Contracts

For the sake of simplifying contracts, all contract negotiations and signings will be done using average annual value (AAV). Salary structure and signing bonuses will not be considered, with the exceptions of complying with minimum salaries ($775k for the 2023-24 season and beyond) and maximum salaries (an AAV equal to 20% of the current salary cap upper limit).

Basic Definitions

• Standard player contract (SPC) - the sole form of employment contract used for all player signings
• Entry-level contract (ELC) - most players’ first contract, carries certain restrictions
• Unrestricted free agent (UFA) - can sign with any team
• Restricted free agent (RFA) - if they sign with another team, the original team has the right to match the contract or receive draft pick compensation
• Group 1 Player - players under an ELC
• Group 2 Player or RFA - most RFAs fit under this category
• Group 3 Player or UFA - players with 7 accrued seasons or 27 years old
• Group 4 RFA - defected players
• Group 5 UFA (currently irrelevant) - players with 10 accrued seasons who made less than the average league salary in the prior season
• Group 6 UFA - players 25 or older who played few enough NHL games to become a UFA
• 10.2(c) - players without the professional years required to become a Group 2 RFA and receive a qualifying offer. Can only negotiate with the team holding the player's rights.

Contract & Roster Limits

During the regular season (before the day of the Trade Deadline) each team may have a maximum of 23 players on their Active Roster, and a minimum of 18 skaters and 2 goalies.
Each club may have a maximum of 50 SPCs, and must have a minimum of 24 players and 3 goalkeepers. In this sim, we will also require each team to have at least 40 SPCs by the end. Players who meet the following conditions do not count towards this contract limit:

1. Are 18 or 19 years old
2. Are in a junior league
3. Have not played 11 NHL games in one season

Note: the roster sheets currently assume every player eligible for this exemption is assigned to Juniors. If you wish to have that player(s) on your opening day roster, please ask me to correct this (as it will affect the number of contract slots you have available).
A club's reserve list (signed players, unsigned draft picks, and defected players) may not exceed 90 players.

Buried Contracts

For one-way NHL contracts of players reassigned to the AHL, the players' salary cap hit, minus the sum of the minimum NHL salary (for the respective season) and $375k, still counts towards the team’s salary cap total. This implies up to $1.15M can be buried this season per contract.
If a player signs a multi-year contract at 35 years or older (as of June 30 prior to the effective contract), the player's individual cap hit counts against the teams cap hit regardless of whether, or where, the player is active. However, a team will receive a $100k relief off of the team's salary cap hit, if a 35+ contract player is playing in the minor leagues after the first year of their contract.

Entry-Level Contracts

Players younger than 25 as of September 15 of the year of their first NHL contract must sign an ELC, all of which are two-way contracts with a maximum AAV of $950k (players drafted in 2022) or $925k (players drafted prior to 2022). The length of an ELC depends on the player's age:

• 18-21 years old: 3 years
• 22-23 years old: 2 years
• 24 years old: 1 year

European players (players drafted from a team outside North America or undrafted players) ages 25-27 must sign a one-year ELC.
If a player signed to an ELC is 18 or 19 years old, and does not play in a minimum of 10 NHL games (including both regular season and playoffs), their contract is considered to "slide", or extend, by one year. Signing bonuses do not slide, which can change the AAV of the player's contract.

Contract Length

Clubs may sign a player to an SPC with a term of up to 8 years only if that player was on such club's Reserve List as of and since the most recent Trade Deadline. For UFAs, this right expires when the player hits free agency (i.e., on Sun. June 25th, 11:59pm ET). Otherwise, the term limit for SPCs is 7 years.

No-Trade Clauses

A No-Move Clause (NMC), No-Trade Clause (NTC), or Modified No-Trade Clause (M-NTC) can be added to a player's contract in the years after they are eligible as a Group 3 player (7 accrued seasons or 27 years old). These clauses restrict the player from being traded without his consent. An NMC also restricts a player from being placed on waivers and being assigned to minors without his consent. These clauses do not exempt a player from a buyout or contract termination.

Performance Bonuses

Clubs may pay players that meet one of the following criteria a performance bonus:

1. The player is on an ELC.
2. The player has signed a one-year contract and is over 35 years old.
3. The player has signed a one-year contract after returning from a long-term injury (has played 400 or more games, and spent 100 or more days on the Injured Reserve in the last year of their most recent contract).

Performance bonuses count against the cap, however a team can only exceed the upper limit by a maximum of 7.5% (the overage of which counts towards the next season's cap hit).

Group 6 Unrestricted Free Agents

A player whose contract is expiring and meets all of the following conditions shall become a Group 6 UFA:

1. The player is 25 years or older (as of June 30th).
2. The player has completed 3 or more professional seasons - qualified by 11 or more professional games (for an 18/19 year old player), or 1 or more professional games (for a player 20 or older) while under an SPC.
3. The player has played fewer than 80 NHL games for a skater, or 28 NHL games of 30 minutes or greater for a goaltender.

Restricted Free Agents

Qualifying Offers

A qualifying offer (QO) is an official one-year SPC offer. Clubs have until Sun. June 25th, 5pm ET to submit their QOs. Submitting a QO gives the club the right of first refusal to match any offer sheet submitted, or receive draft pick compensation. If the player rejects the qualifying offer, they remain a RFA and their rights are retained by the club. If a player does not receive a qualifying offer, he becomes a UFA.
A minimum QO is calculated from the player's base salary (excluding all bonuses) as follows:

• 105% of the base salary if the base salary is less than $1,000,000. However, the minimum QO shall not exceed $1,000,000.
• 100% of the base salary if the base salary is equal to or greater than $1,000,000.
• For contracts signed after the 2020 Memorandum of Understanding, if the minimum qualifying offer would otherwise be greater than 120% of the AAV of the contract, the minimum qualifying offer will instead be 120% of the AAV.

The QO must be a one-way offer if the following three requirements are met (a goaltender is considered to have played a game if they are on the bench as a backup):

1. The player played in 180 NHL games in the previous three seasons.
2. The player played in 60 NHL games in the previous season.
3. The player did not clear waivers in the previous season.

Qualifying offers expire on Wed. July 12th, 5pm ET.
Note: If an RFA has signed a contract in another league, the NHL club may extend a QO to retain that player's rights. These players are marked on the roster sheets as signed in another league.

Offer Sheet Compensation

Only Group 2 and 4 RFAs may be signed to an offer sheet. However, clubs only receive draft pick compensation for Group 2 RFAs.

Compensation must be entirely in the next draft (for this sim: 2024), unless multiple of the same round of pick are required (e.g. two first rounders). In that case, you may skip one year (e.g. two 1sts could be 2023 and 2024 OR 2023 and 2025 OR 2024 and 2025).

Compensation is determined by the AAV outlined in the offer made by submitting club. The AAV for an offer sheet, which determines the compensation required, is derived by dividing the total contract value amount by the lesser of: number of years offered, or 5 years. The AAV thresholds are readjusted each season, and is based on the average league salary for that season.

The club that receives an Offer Sheet has 7 days to match the offer or accept the draft pick compensation. If the receiving club matches the Offer Sheet, they are bound to the contract details outlined in the offer, must respect all aspects of the contract (such as any NTCs), and cannot trade that player for 1 year from the date of the contract signing.

Buyouts

Teams are permitted to buyout a player's contract to obtain a reduced salary cap hit over a period of twice the remaining length of the contract. The buyout amount is a function of the players age at the time of the buyout, and are as follows:

• 1/3 of the remaining contract value, if the player is younger than 26 at the time of the buyout
• 2/3 of the remaining contract value, if the player is 26 or older at the time of the buyout

The team still takes a cap hit, and the cap hit by year is calculated as follows:

1. Multiply the remaining salary (excluding signing bonuses) by the buyout amount (as determined by age) to obtain the total buyout cost
2. Spread the total buyout cost evenly over twice the remaining contract years
3. Determine the savings by subtracting the annual buyout cost from Step 2. by the player's salary (excluding signing bonuses)
4. Determine the remaining cap hit by subtracting the savings from Step 3. by the player's AAV (including signing bonuses)

A player can only be bought out after clearing unconditional waivers. A waiver-claim by another team pre-empts the buyout process. If a player has a no-movement clause, the player can reject the option of waivers and proceed directly to the buyout process.
A 35+ contract that is bought out receives no salary cap relief. An injured player (who was injured as a result of his job) is entitled his remaining salary, so long as such injury continues, and therefore cannot be bought out.

Waivers

When a player is reassigned from the NHL to another league, they must pass through waivers (unless they are exempt).
Waivers requests are processed each day at 2pm ET, and are subject to a 24 hour claim period, expiring at 2pm ET the following day.
The sim will have two waivers windows: unconditional waivers (for a buyouts) runs from Mon. June 19th until Sun. June 25th and the normal waiver window will run from Thu. August 3rd until Sat. August 12th.
Waivers priority is determined by the lowest percentage of possible standings points at the time of the waivers request (or when outside the regular season or through October 31st by the standings of the previous season). Tie breakers: lowest ROW percentage, fewest number of points in head-to-head games (excluding "odd games"), lowest goal differential per game. Therefore, waivers priority throughout the sim is as follows:

Waiver Exemptions

Age is defined as follows:

• If a player turns 18 between January 1 and September 15 in the entry-draft calendar year preceding the first season of the player's ELC, they are considered 18
• Otherwise, if a player turns 19 (or older) before December 31 in the entry-draft calendar year preceding the first season of the player's ELC, they are considered 19 (or older)

For players 20 years or older, the year in which they play their first professional game under NHL contract is their first year towards the waiver exemption.
Whichever comes first in this table indicates when a player is no longer exempt:

There is an exception (to the above) for 18 and 19 year olds: if a skater plays 11 NHL games or more, the year exemption will reduce to 3, and the following two season will count against this regardless of games played. Otherwise:

1. A player does not need to pass through waivers if he has not been on the NHL active roster for a cumulative 30 days since last clearing waivers, and has not played in 10 or more NHL games.
2. Any player who has consented to a Conditioning Loan can be loaned to a minor league club for a maximum of 14 days without passing through waivers.
3. A player who was previously on long-term injured reserve (LTIR), may be loaned to a minor league club for a maximum of 6 days or 3 games for the purpose of determining if the player is fit to play. This player does not need to pass through waivers

Long Term Injured Reserve

There are two approaches to use LTIR for cap relief:

1. Put the player on LTIR before the season starts. You can be over at the start of the season, but only get relief for how much the contract is over at the time he is placed on LTIR. Note: offseason cap accounting applies.
2. Put the player on LTIR after the start of the season. You need to be under the cap at the beginning of the season, but get full relief.

The LTIR salary relief cannot be used to pay bonuses. Any excess relief does not accumulate.
At this point, the following players are eligible for LTIR: Ryan Ellis (PHI), Gabriel Landeskog (COL), Bryan Little (ARI), Carey Price (MTL), Brent Seabrook (TBL), and Shea Weber (ARI). GMs can petition the commissioners to add players to this list, including relevant information such as the player, injury, and timeline for return.

Retained Salary Transactions

When a team trades a player, they have the option to retain a part of his salary (and cap hit). The team who retains the salary pays the retained percentage of the salary, and retains the percentage of the cap hit (until the contract expires). The following requirements must be met:

1. The percentage retained cannot exceed 50% of the player’s salary (including all bonuses) and cap hit.
2. The same percentage must be retained for both the player’s salary and cap hit, and cannot be modified year-to-year. As a result, the same amount must be retained through the remainder of the contract.
3. All teams are limited to a maximum of 3 retained salary contracts per season.
4. Teams cannot retain an aggregate amount of more than 15% of the Salary Cap Upper Limit.
5. Players’ contracts are limited to 2 retained salary transactions per contract.

Once a retained salary transaction occurs, there are various limitations:

• A team cannot re-acquire a player whom they have retained salary from for a minimum of one year after the date of the transaction (unless the player's contract expires or is terminated prior to the one-year date).
• All teams involved in a retained salary transaction will have cap implications if the contract is bought out or terminated.
• Teams who retain salary on a players contract, will have the full value of the cap hit act against the teams salary cap total, regardless of whether the player is reassigned to the minors by their current team.

Such transactions will require a compelling explanation.

Salary Arbitration

We are not doing salary arbitration as part of this sim. If you feel that a GM and/or agent is negotiating for an RFA in bad faith, contact a commissioner.

Miscellaneous

Performance bonuses count against the cap, however a team can only exceed the upper limit by a maximum of 7.5% (the overage of which counts towards the next season's cap hit).
Teams may not commit more salary to next season than 110% the current salary cap (i.e. exceed their tagging space).
Players claimed off waivers cannot be traded to another club (until the termination of Playoffs of the season in which he was acquired) unless he is first offered on the same terms to the club(s) that previously issued a claim (and the offer has been refused).

So today just as I was leaving my SOs apartment a woman walked up to us holding a dog, askin if we knew who the owners were. It was raining lightly with occasional thunder and the dog was trembling with fear. Her husband was there convincing her to leave the dog in the dog park because it's fenced up and the dog can't leave so the owners could find him there. That really upset me and I immediately told him that leaving a lost, scared dog in a park in the rain is a terrible idea and offered to take it to the vet to have it's chip read. I took the dog to the car and my mother drove me to the vet. After half an hour of calling the owner they finally picked up and we arranged a meeting to return the dog. It turns out the poor little guy got scared from the thunder and left their yard through a hole in the fence. He was the sweetest little thing, sleeping in my lap for the duration of the drive and he was such a good boy at the vets. He is safe and sound now at his home with his family. I'm so glad the woman walked up to us and asked rather than leaving him to wait to be found in the rain.

An ally of mine from within my federation helped with a few captures, I took colonies (including the planets with armies) and about 30 systems.
War exhaustion ended the war and I had EVERYTHING stripped from me, apart from the AI who done bollucks all.

How my arrangement works

I'm a Special Education/History Teacher and I'm looking to become a programmedeveloper. I am currently teaching myself HTML/CSS and I was hoping to teach myself either JavaScript or Python after I have a better grasp of HTML/CSS. I don't have any CS education or training, and my knowledge of coding is limited to what I have learned from books and the internet.
My plan is to continue to learn these programming languages and build projects as I learn new things.

I am hoping to find a different job to help me pay my bills while I am upskilling. I need something with a better work/life balance, something that isn't so emotionally demanding. I'm hoping to find some kind of professional office work to help bridge this gap. I am a hard worker who likes to keep his head down and get the job done. I learn new programs and procedures quickly and I get along well with people.
Really, I just want to be able to make it home without feeling like crying at the end of the day so that I can focus on improving my skills.
Are there any fields/jobs/companies that seem like a good fit for somebody in my position? I live in Northern NJ for reference. I understand that I might need to take a slight pay cut, but l'm more than ok with that (or with working more hours) if it means having a less demanding job.

I'm a Special Education/History Teacher and I'm looking to become a programmedeveloper. I am currently teaching myself HTML/CSS and I was hoping to teach myself either JavaScript or Python after I have a better grasp of HTML/CSS. Title says part of the story. I joined my wife few years ago, after living on opposite sides of the country. She was already renting this apartment for several years, therefore we did not move, and I started commuting (~3h a day), and after vaguely discussing distribution of tasks I do the cooking and cleaning of the house, while she takes care of laundry. Somewhat implicitly, she told me that her rules take priority as this was her space for longest (very few compromises), but I often try to argue that I live there too, and I would like to have a say.
We seemed to share a similar wish of living in a clean and tidy place, but execution is very different: my wife feels overwhelmed by chores so she would “deep clean” the house once every 1-1.5 months (before I moved in), whereas I am a “clean-as-I-go” person who tries to dedicate a few hours at weekends and during the week to do chores. Even though I took over all the cleaning, turns out I have limitations: she discouraged me to clean a lot of areas of the house because “I would just move up dust” and she’d have to clean after me, and she has no time. I asked her to tell me how she wants it done, or to do it together, but she claims to be too overwhelmed by work and I cannot do anything.
Patiently, I managed to add bits and pieces of the house to my to-do-list (took years) but a few weekends ago while trying to take more initiative I ended up in a hellish situation. In our (her?) bedroom there is her desk, which she stopped using since I moved in, and she recently cleaned from months old dust (pre-pandemic): naturally, without thinking, I added it to my list of chores, as it was now clean, so I could keep it that way. On a Monday morning during a work meeting, my wife was calling, several times, making me think that something bad happened. I stepped out and answered the phone, I was met by a cold “Did you clean my desk?” “Yes… did I break or misplaced anything?” “How did you clean it?”, a thorough interrogation of what and how I did it followed, and I answered. At the end I stated “I am just trying to keep our living space clean, if I did it in a wrong way, I am open to hear how I can do it better and redo it.” She yelled, “I have no time for this, now I have to clean it again and I have other stuff to do too”, and she hung up. At home the discussion did not go any better, long story short: I violated my wife’s trust by cleaning her desk, she is furious and she told me that I gave her a “pass to do something behind my back without asking, at the first occasion that I see fit”, with examples going from getting another cat, to buying a house, or organizing a trip on her own. I acknowledged that I should have consulted her, and told that it won’t happen again, but I stopped short of apologizing because I think that yelling and scolding me was not the way to address this and instead of making it a moment where we could both learn something, she just deliberately acted to hurt me. AITA?

Hello, i'm experiencing very high lag spikes in albion, with a "reconnect" pop up that last circa 10 seconds, i'ts happening regularly while playing the game, at least 3-4 times per hour. It happens when other players are using skills or when they appear on my screen, i never experienced that while walking solo or when i'm into the city (regardless of enemies doing pvp and using skills in town. Today i got 7 lag spikes (and died twice lmao), i'm not saying its a hack or something, just want to get help to solve this issue. I even tried to buy a vpn service to reduce ping etc; lag spikes happens anyway

TW: This post is about a disturbing scene I witnessed in the park, it is about a man that was being inappropriate with a little boy and I describe the incident in detail.
Today I was in the park and I witnessed something that made me feel uncomfortable, dysregulated, stressed, angry, sad, frustrated and annoyed.
There was a group of adult women with two boys of about 12 years old, they were having a picnic and the boys were playing ball. A while later, a creepy looking man came sitting next to them. Yes this is a judgment, but he looked exactly like the/my stereotype of a pedophile. He was about 60 years old, wore pilot glasses that turn dark in the sun, was extremely tanned and had a belly. He started kicking the ball around with the boys. Not just 3 times like a normal adult would do before they went on with their day, but for a looong time. I was immediately wary of him and felt triggered (actually triggered, not in the casual way people use it these days, which is frustrating but that’s something for another post), and of course immediately started doubting myself as well, as I went through CSA myself and know I am hypervigilant when it comes to this stuff. Within minutes his shirt came off, a few minutes after his trousers were off and he was in his short tight swimming shorts, still playing ball with the boys, by now it had been about ten minutes. This is how grooming works I guess, and apparently it works on adults just as quickly. Within minutes the kids were playing ball with a naked strange man. They were right next to the adults but they didn’t seem to be alarmed by a naked unknown old man playing with their children. I tried looking at them to catch their eye and looking around to see if anyone else thought it was off, there were a lot of people sitting there but nobody seemed to notice.
Then the ball flew over a picket fence. The man summoned the boy to go get the ball, and the boy seemed uncomfortable and unsure, since it wasn’t an easy fence to climb over. In my opinion this is not something you do as a stranger either, this is a situation where the parents should be involved, and I got even more triggered, all the while doubting myself since I’m hypervigilant and don’t have children myself. The boy also had his shirt off (it was already like this before the man came over). The man wanted to ‘help’ him and picked him up, their bare skins touching, with their faces extremely close together. The adults were about 3 meters away and still weren’t looking. Then, the man gave the boy his down coat to wear, I guess because there were thorns in the bushes. Again, this made me extremely uncomfortable. I was so triggered by this point, my heart was racing and knew that I was right. I wanted to signal something to the adults but they weren’t looking. I debated shouting at the adults that they should go check on their kids, or shouting at the man to leave the kid alone, but I felt frozen. I kept looking around me and still nobody seemed alarmed, so I decided that I would take action only if the man did something to the kid or to himself, which in hindsight is totally bonkers. It would have been too late by then and that would have traumatized both the kid and myself.
After a few minutes the kid climbed back over the fence, again with skin to skin ‘help’ from this man, and then the woman who turned out to be his mother all of a sudden saw him and alarmingly asked what he had been doing, pulled him aside and got his belt (that was no longer on his trousers, I totally missed this!). She asked where he got the coat and when he said it was the man’s she took the boy by his arm and asked him all kinds of questions that I couldn’t hear, to which he responded ‘no’ and he seemed confused. The other two women, of whom one I guess was the mother of the other boy, seemed unphased. The mother of the boy looked at the man with a wary gaze a few time and when the boy wanted to go play with the man again she called him over and they went home. The other two women with the other kid stayed. The man layed down in the grass with his face towards them, and they seemed totally unphased. After half an hour of still feeling triggered and dysregulated I left.
I feel so many things now. I don’t blame myself for not doing anything, but I know I should have gone up to the women and told them they might want to check up on their boy. I just couldn’t think clearly in the state I was in, which is logical. I also contemplated going up to the two other women before I left, but the man was right there and because of my own trauma I felt afraid of him. Also; the other boy was still there and I didn’t want to alarm him.
I also really want to take care of myself, since this stuff retraumatized me and it’s not like I’m doing great in my life, so it’s better to put the focus back on myself, instead of always being so hypervigilant to what is going on around me and who might be in danger. Of course this is a good quality and I’ve already saved some people from dangerous situations, but I feel so frustrated and jealous and angry of all the people who seem to be so blisfully unaware.
The frustration is stronger than the other emotions, though. How can parents be so stupid to let their kids play with a strange naked man? Wtf…Anyhow, just wanted to share and hear some reflections, maybe from people who are parents themselves, and from people who’ve encountered similar situations.

Hey there, I came for a little help about my (maybe ex?) situationship, 'cus I'm getting frustrated by this whole thing. We started talking through tinder, which led us to call daily for the next few weeks. We vibed together and had always things to talk about. We even set things that we want to reach from this whole thing and discussed everything, like adults. But recently (a few days ago) we met for the first time. It was nice, we were out for like 6-7 hours and still had things to talk about, he even asked me for a 2nd ''date'' in a few days. So I came home happy, that this one might work out. Well.. to my surprise, he stopped talking to me after 1 day after the meeting up. I was a bit confused, but I still thought that he might be busy, so I tried to not overthink it. But today I noticed, that he unfollowed me and even deleted my follow from his acc - weird. Our last message was from me saying good night, 2 days ago. Now I know that I got ghosted...but I need to know some closure. Why he did that? Do you think it's reasonable to ask him? Or should I just leave it like this? It's just.. we both are adults, so I was expecting some adult act from him, but I don't wanna seem desperate or something like this.

So this happened just moments ago; I ate lunch at work today, just a small lunch. and then I regretted it and felt ashamed, I instantly made myself vomit right after. whilst I was in middle of making myself vomit, I was talking to myself in my head: “stupid fat ugly fuc*ng btch, I hate you” I kept saying that to myself
At the time, I believed it was my own way of sort of, encouraging myself to keep purging until I felt satisfied. However, I also do this kind of thing when I’m having an episode of self harm. I punch myself in the face during episodes of rage and I do that same exact negative self talk when I hit myself.
I kept vomiting until I was sure there was nothing left in my stomach. And then I felt better, I felt so relieved. So satisfied.
I used to be bulimic when I was in elementary school. Around the age of 10-12. When I hit puberty I gained a lot of weight, so I struggled with poor self image and bulimia when I was around that age.
I had escaped it for years, I’ve had one or two moments over the years similar to today. But I think I feel myself falling back into it. And I wonder what’s the point, why bother trying not to.
Because I actually hate myself so much.
That afterwards and I even had fleeting thoughts during making myself vomit - “am I just making myself throw up because I’m so incredibly angry in general? Am I making myself throw up to punish myself for something other than eating? Am I just doing it to hurt myself?”
At one point, whilst I was eating, I noticed I was eating too fast.. and I got angry at myself about it. So angry that I had a fleeting urge / thought / picture in my head that I just wanted to shove the fork down my throat cut my throat/ Stab myself / puncture myself in the throat whilst taking a bite. It actually almost felt so strong that it could have been a reaction.
Some Hours before this, I was thinking heavily on my seemingly reoccurring issues of kleptomania .. (now, getting into this subject I’ll probably get a lot of hate and downvotes, but I’m prepared and I’d deserve it. )

Well I from time to time find myself feeling urges to steal clothes. I don’t even know why….it pesters me greatly. It’s very intrusive and I don’t know how to just turn it off. I get angry at myself and tell myself “NO!” Every time. I try to think of all the reasons not to. I try to talk myself out of it or even scare myself out if it.
But I fail, and unfortunately I HAVE done a couple of times before, (stole) I even went through one or two instances where I put something in my bag, felt so awful and guilty about it, that I took it back out of my bag, put it right back where I got it, and left it there.
But then I do the same thing a month later with other items. I feel the urges and either take the action to possess it, feel bad and put it back, or I take it home and never want to touch it because it just reminds me I’m awful every time I see it. I had trouble with this years ago working in retail, and was very lucky I didn’t catch a charge for life.
It’s no doubt in my mind that things like THAT are contributing to my negative self talk and to how I feel about myself. The things that I cannot understand about myself, my behaviors, my decisions, my lack of morals, self control…these are reasons I despise myself so much. I absolutely cannot stand myself.
And I wondered today, was I making myself vomit because I was angry at myself about that? Or was it for multiple reasons? Why do I do things like steal and not understand why? Why do I struggle so much to listen to the Better part of me. The better part of my conscience…How do I not hate myself, how do I forgive myself for my negative behaviors, how do I stop doing things I can’t stand about myself? What the hell is wrong with me??
How do I forgive myself for not becoming the person I wanted to be
how do I forgive myself for the type of person that I am.
But nevermind even forgiving myself, How do I change my behavior??
How do I change who I am??
Before I become someone even worse. ..
Someone I’ll hate so much that even my good morals (that I do have left) and consideration for my family members won’t be enough to talk me out of finally pulling the trigger
