I came across a big similarity when reading up about several ancient unconnected cultures and their mythologies. A general story that seems to be an allegory for an old divination technique known as the geomantic act. It seems as if several of these stories about the creation of the first temples/sacred structures/the world are describing a localized version of the same story. I wanted to know some professional opinions on it because personally it think it has finally made sense of these strange mythologies.
I did not write this it was taken from an article I have been reading on an unrelated subject.
"So if all these distant civilizations shared the same ancient culture or started out fdrom the same sort of mother culture then surely there would be some evidence left of it right? I thought so too so I spent a considerable amount of time looking for connections that would be too specific to ignore or pass off as coincidence. Finally after years of searching I found them.
The main one, and what this section is about is a shared cultural art between ancient China, South America and Ancient Egypt. This art is known as geomancy and in China it is known as Feng Shui, each one of these places I just mentioned contain huge pyramids within their borders and both Egypt and the south American cultures have a very similar story of creation that seems to be an allegory for what they call the "geomantic act". A divination technique used to build temples and buildings in the exact right spot (according to the practitioners of it).

I will summarize it but you should actually take the time to read it as it is only a few pages.
The actual geomantic act is divining a place using the four directions to pick the right location, then once found stabbing a sword, stake or metal wedge into the ground at the exact center of the planned building, usually there is something done to consecrate this center which they call the navel of the structure. Another way to view it (like the above book says) is a hero slaying a dragon or serpent with the aid of four warriors/weapons/deities then building a holy structure on the place the monster was killed. This is how they represent the act in allegorical form in the European version of it.

As the title indicates it details the mythological origin of the first temple that appeared on earth according to the oldest Egyptian records we had found as of 1969 (when the book was published). The objective story the Aztec/Olmec/Mayan/Inca (I am unsure who originated them, I am not a historian) and Egyptian creation myth (according to the Edfu Texts) begin with a world of darkness with no land, only sky and water and a god who lives there, then the god one way or another creates the first world/land which is an island, and the first people, eventually fighting ensues, then because of the fighting the earth is engulfed by water or the island disappears (same thing when you are the only land). Then from this water the new world rises and is rebuilt in the old worlds image from the "bones" of the old world.
Now that story could be shrugged off as mere coincidence I suppose, However...Later in these stories of creation another identical event happens. In the Egyptian and Aztec myths a hero or creator god and group of 4 gods, protectors or warriors represented by four animals and four directions. Do battle with a serpent type monster that always represents chaos. They win this fight and slay the monster and then on the spot it was slain build a sacred temple.
What I just described to you seems to be another allegory used in other cultures for what they call the geomantic act, a local adaptation of it.
The following are pages from the Edfu translation book I linked:
-Page 35 in the book is the summery of the fight. A fight between a serpent and a hawk and his four protectors who represent the four directions. Just as the book "Secret Games of the Gods" described the geomantic act, using the four directions the "hero" would slay the "dragon" and build on the spot it was slayed.
-Page 196 details it. It should also be noted that Tanen became Ptah-Tatenen who was the god of creation and temple building. The page below also clarifies that the sacred place would be built where the snake enemy was slayed.
-Page 324 is the overall summery of the book and outlines the new world made from the bones of a dead god.

-Page 297 states the earth god which is found to actually represent earth said to have a “Ka” (spirit) and the earths “Ka” being present was the perquisite for building these temples. So the earths energy had to be present at these sites for building and then once the temple was made it had to be activated by joining with the earths Ka.
Also of note these 4 animals from the Edfu texts also turn up in the book “The Secret Teachings of All Ages” written in 1923 a few decades before the Edfu texts were even translated.

This fits the geomantic act because it also is using natural energy to pick a location for a sacred building (according to the practitioners of it).

This story of creations shares many similarities with the story laid out in the Edfu temple and seems to also be an allegory for the geomantic act.

This was a consuming monster, a jaw at every joint. Cipactli was to become the source of the cosmos in a strange way.
As the gods continued to create, they had a problem — their creations would fall into the water and be eaten by the dreadful Cipactli. So it was time for war — the four gods attacked the sea monster, pulling her in four directions. She fought back, biting Tezcatlipoca and tearing off his foot. But at last Cipactli was destroyed.
From this enormous creature the universe was created (in some traditions this happened between the last two suns). All the 13 heavens stretch into her head. The earth was created in the middle, and her tail reaches down to the underworld (Mictlán) (nine underworlds, to be exact).
You could say that in the Aztec creation story the world is on the back of this sea monster, floating in the water of space (reminiscent of the Iroquois belief that the world rests on the back of a turtle).”

So according to the above story of creation the Aztecs thought that their land was on the back of a serpent type dragon monster that was killed by four gods by stretching it in the four directions. It actually had many similarities with the geomantic act and its purpose laid out in Secret Games of the Gods. That book also said the purpose of the act was to control the "serpent" in the earth and stop its chaos from destroying the building.
Now its pretty hard to dismiss those stories as mere coincidence, those stories are seemingly localized versions of what is known as the “serpent slaying myth” in indo-european culture. A story that is told and was told in cultures the world over in various localized versions in a time when they had no communication or even knew each other existed. As we saw in the Edfu temple book even the ancient Egyptians had this myth and practice of geomancy.

in the Aztec myth this scenario also plays out but they are gods who animal incarnations or representations are “plummed serpent” (implying a feathered or flying snake), Jaguar, hummingbird, and a god that has no definite form and takes many forms and is the god of warfare.
in the Aztec myth the gods also represent directions. The 4 Aztec directional gods have aspects of the 4 guardian animals. Not the exact same animals mind you but the overall same animals (snake, bird, big cat, formless/unsure)
(I should note that I was unable to narrow down if these are the actual directions they represent because I came across several conflicting sources. However its the overall general story that is important and not the specifics as they would be adapted anyway)

-Xipe Totec has a controversial history, some people think that the god replaced an earlier god from the story, I could find no credible source about his animal form or direction (though only north is left) however, He is the inventor of war according to the Aztec mythology so that lines up with the Chinese feng shui direction (we will get to this in a moment) of north being the tortoise or "black warrior" (Warrior)

In the Aztec myth the 4 gods do battle with a "serpent/fish", they slay it by ripping it apart in the 4 directions then build from its body on the spot it was slain their world/empire. That is objectively the same story from the book I linked with 3 out of the 4 animal guardians being the same.
Now these animals turn up in one other place with pyramids within its borders. China and Taoism, specifically the 4 animals that represent the 4 directions often associated with the ancient art of Feng Shui which in actuality is the Chinese art of geomancy.
In feng shui the four directions are represented by 3 out of the 4 are the same kind of animals. The entire art of it is about choosing the right location to build things using divination.

Not only that but the directions in Aztec mythology are represented by the same color pallet as the Chinese four guardians Black, white, blue and red. Only north and west line up with being the same color and same direction but all the colors are the same.

3 out of 4 creatures match the Aztec and Egyptian mythology and they are all referred to as guardians or gods. The one odd guardian/direction out is the tortoise replacing the bull but interestingly enough the tortoise is also called the black warrior and Xipe Toltec (formless/many formed god) the Aztec god of the north is also the god of warfare. They are also the only animal/god/directions with unsure names or forms which in itself is a link in common all three versions have. Perhaps it was called a different name in the past.
The “plummed serpent” sounds like a spot on interpretation of a Chinese dragon, depicted as flying snakes often with feathers.

There is undoubtedly a connection here. The beginning of the earth from the various cultures being the same objective story could easily be dismissed as coincidence. The same 4 animals representing in some cases the same directions and originating from the same scenario which is then used to pick the spot to build a holy place or building however cannot be dismissed so easily and I think is incredible evidence that a shared or "mother" culture existed between them. That all three cultures would also contain within their territory pyramids is also to hard to dismiss as a coincidence with all of this evidence laid out.

Jweig sat crosslegged outside the door to his home, his gaze fixed on the churning waves crashing against the edge of the reef. The air was heavy with anticipation, a palpable tension that seemed to cling to every leaf and blade of grass. Vzrim, his friend and neighbour who often worked the same fields as him, approached, a worried expression etched on his face.
"Jweig, do you feel it? Something is not right", Vzrim said, his voice laced with concern.
Jweig nodded solemnly. "Yes, Vzrim. I sense it too; the winds have been restless, and the sky wears a dark cloak. Our home is in the grip of an approaching storm."
As if on cue, the first gusts of wind began to whip through the coconut trees, rustling their fronds with an eerie whisper and howling between the exposed roots of the mangroves. The once calm sea transformed into a seething mass of frothy waves, crashing violently against the shoreline. The villagers scurried about, dashing back to the village of Pribd in an attempt to secure themselves and their families from the raging winds.
Vraiŋ, the Marvuč of the village - a role which had long since lost much of its significance on Dzoagvrin, but not here on Nyæŋpuj, emerged from his home, his aged eyes scanning the horizon. The stars had not predicted any storm of this magnitude, or at least not the ones that he read. The storm season would come much later in the cycle, so what had not been foretold here? "Vzrim, Jweig, gather the people. We must seek shelter in the sturdy buildings on higher ground. This storm will be unlike any we have seen." He was guessing, but what storm comes so early in the moon cycle? Someone must have angered their ancestors, and they were not going to calm easily.
The villagers hurried to obey, their footsteps echoing with urgency as they moved towards the granaries, which were built raised with sturdy foundations on higher ground away from the coast to avoid the effects of floods and the moist sea air, as well as Vraiŋ's stargazing room, built far inland, away from the fires of the village. Rather than getting caught in the commotion, Vzrim and Jweig lent helping hands to the elderly and the young. Panic mingled with the fear in their eyes as the wind howled and the rain started to pour, casting a veil of darkness over not just the village, but the whole island.
As they crowded in whatever stable building they could find, the villagers huddled together, seeking solace in each other's presence. The sound of thunder reverberated through the air, shaking the very foundations of their refuge. The storm unleashed its fury upon Nyæŋpuj, lashing the island with relentless force.
Hours went by as the tempest raged on. The villagers held onto hope, their spirits intertwined with resilience. Ŋwuuz, a seasoned fisherman, whispered words of encouragement, something about the strength that lay within everyone's hearts that would help them through this. Vraiŋ sounded his agreement; even if they couldn't see them, the stars would guide them through - he was, however, hoping more than reading at this point.
As if to erode what little remained of their spirit, a creaking followed by a sudden crash pierced through the deafening roar of the storm. While those who could see beyond the building they were hiding in could not see beyond the rain, the sound of falling trees was unmistakable. Even if it did play host to the sturdiest buildings, who hides out in a forest in the middle of a storm? Surely this would be the end of them all?
Amid the chaos, a peculiar calm suddenly settled upon the village. The deafening winds that had once threatened to tear everything apart seemed to subside, leaving behind a profound, almost surreal silence. The villagers exchanged bewildered glances, their expressions a mixture of relief and confusion. Surely the storm would not end this quickly?
Jweig, eager to return home, cautiously creeped out from the shelter, his eyes widening in disbelief as he witnessed the spectacle before him. The raging storm had transformed into an oasis of tranquility. Clear sky was emerging overhead, revealing a serene expanse of blue that contrasted starkly with the menacing storm clouds that had encloaked the village just a few short moments ago.
"The storm... it has calmed," Jweig called out, his voice carrying the disbelief that echoed in his heart.

What once was fertile land on which maize, squash and beans were grown was now either churned beyond recognition by the lashing waves, or still covered under a film of saltwater.
Gyias, an young boy who han only recently begun working the fields, choked back tears as he surveyed the devastation. "Our village... Our island... It will take years to rebuild what has been lost."
Vraiŋ placed a comforting hand on Gyias' shoulder, his voice filled with determination. "We will rebuild, Gyias. We have faced hardships before, and we will overcome this too. Our ancestors survived the challenges of the land, and so shall we. They can share their experiences through the stars, and together we will come through. Yes, it will take time, but we are a resilient people, and we will overcome this. The stars will guide us to it."
His words ignited a spark of hope within the hearts of the villagers. They began to gather whatever salvageable materials they could find amidst the wreckage. With each wooden beam and every stone they cleared, their determination grew, fueled by a collective sense of unity.

The group of wanderers both young and old, walked through the forest to the hills, with each step distancing themselves from the coast and the harrowing memories of the storm.
As they crossed rivers and traversed dense forests, their journey tested their physical endurance and mental resilience, but their determination and their helpnessness pushed them forward. Where else could they go? As they passed though more villages ravaged by the storm, occasionally picking up survivors or food from those hit badly enough that only remnants survived, it became clear just how much devastation had been unleashed.
Each of the villagers did find one fond memory to keep on this journey, however... It was as they climbed a steep incline, they caught their first glimpse of their salvation. From the top of the hill, the villagers beheld a breathtaking sight; nestled in the valley below, a town, comparitavely untouched by the storm, awaited them. The hills lining the edge of the valley had fields carved into them, below them people scurried around, rebuilding the town as necessary.
The villagers descended into the valley, their weariness replaced by renewed hope. The sight of a functioning town provided a glimmer of what their own future could be. They approached the outskirts of the settlement, cautiously making their way down the slopes.
Curious eyes followed their every move as they entered the town. The villagers sought out the Marv, someone all people knew they could trust, hoping for guidance and assistance. Vraiŋ stepped forward, a mix of weariness and determination etched onto his face. "May I speak with your Marv", he announced.
A hush fell upon the gathered townspeople as gasps escaped their lips. Whispers of disbelief filled the air, carrying their disbelief and confusion. "They don't know?" they murmured, their voices barely audible. Eventually one woman, her face etched with sorrow, finally spoke up. "Our wise Marvupt... she perished in the great storm", she said, her voice trembling with grief.

"I am Vraiŋ, and I have come from beyond the hills as the successor foretold by your Marvupt. The stars have guided us to this town, and now I shall guide you through the challenges that lie ahead."
A mix of astonishment and curiosity rippled through the crowd as they absorbed Vraiŋ's words. The townspeople had been anticipating a new Marv, someone to lead them in the aftermath of the storm, but they had not expected a whole flood of people seeking refuge. Questions arose, concerns about resources and the future of their town. Shouts of "get out" echoed amongst the crowd, from people who did not want to share their already damaged food stocks with these newcomers, but Vraiŋ stood firm. He had been foretold as the leader, and he was not going to abandon his friends, his family, his people, to lead only the existing residents of Bæn.
As he settled in to his new role, Vraiŋ ordered the immediate repair of fields damaged in the storm, to be followed by construction of new fields, to feed the new arrivals. He pressed the villagers of Pribd, whom he had led to the valley and residents of Bæn alike into bands who would reshape the hillsides into fertile land. The people of Bæn, though initially taken aback by the request, as why should they construct fields for people who couldn't even settle a town in the right place, soon came to realise the necessity of this endeavour - the villagers were part of their town now whether they liked it or not; the stars had foretold it and demanded it... They didn't want to offend the ancestors of these people to the point they sent another storm! With the knowledge and experience they possessed, they set to work, gradually repairing terraces and carving new ones into the hills over the course of months.
In the town below, Vraiŋ took control of the granaries within the town, ensuring the fair distribution of food amongst newly arrived villagers and townspeople alike. While there were initial murmurs of discontent, people were having to survive on less, and food was being given to people who hadn't even planted it, however the people soon recognized the importance of a fair and organized distribution system, as it ensured that everyone was kept alive to plant next year's harvest, whether their fields remained intact or not.
As the months went by, the residents of Bæn adapted to their new reality. Reconstruction efforts progressed steadily, with each newly formed terrace a testament to their resilience and hard work. Vraiŋ oversaw the process, providing guidance and encouragement, watching the stars more carefully than ever, and trying his hardest to be a pragmatic and just leader.
Things were finally starting to look up.
TL;DR: The coastal, lowland village of Pribd on Nyæŋpuj is hit directly by an early season hurricane. The village is destroyed and its fields rendered irrepairable, so the villagers end up leaving with the intent of founding a new village inland. They instead settle in the town of Bæn, which has only been damaged, rather than destroyed, by the hurricane due to its sheltered position behind the hills on the western side of the island. It is revealed that Bæn lost their Marv (leadesoothsayer) in the storm. Before the storm, the Marv of Bæn predicted that there would be a new Marv for Bæn from afar in the near future. The Marv of Pribd recognises himself as this new Marv from afar. The story ends with the damage to Bæn slowly being repaired, and the Marv formerly of Pribd cementing his power as leader of Bæn.

So these are a set of stories that happened to me and my classmates in first five years of elementary. Most of these are probably made up or lies and little kid's imagination, but they're still pretty good, even if most likely fake.
A little background: My first five years of school, I went to a pretty shitty one. Like everything was bad, the teachers, the school system and the kids were the worst. In my class, there were 30 of us and only eight girls, including me. I was a quiet and sensitive child and didn't quite match with the rude, loud and low-key bitchy girls in my class. Still I wanted so bad to be apart of them, because they were so "cool". That was a mistake, they only used me, were mean to me and were huge liars and attention seekers. I should've stuck with my one friend in there, but I didn't because I wanted to be popular or whatever. I was dumb.
Anyway, the main three girls that I tried to hang out with were Tatiana, Sofia and Alexandra. I am not ashamed of name-dropping, they deserve it. Along with them and a few other girls, we started to have this creepy, monster-hunting phase. We just wanted to investigate supernatural stuff. So at first we made up things, so we could pretend. My memory is bad, for reasons, so I don't really remember how it escalated to all of this, but here are some anomalies and stuff that we've observed:

1. The green face

This is the most vivid and real thing I remember from all of this. The green face was a humanoid creature, that had a green face with tiny features and was dressed in a black cloak. This was probably just me not able to handle all the scary, so I imagined it, but I would often see this face in the school windows staring at me. Whenever we were outside on break, I'd see it, but when I tried to show someone, it dissapeared. This was the monster that I was truly terrified of and was even scared to go to the bathroom because I thought it would be waiting for me there. Which, unfortunately, led to some embarrassing stories. Now that I look back, it probably was nothing, but for 8 year old me, that was easily scared, it was a big deal. Tatiana later claimed that she'd seen it too, but I think she just didn't want me to be special and have all the attention 💀

1. The girl in the window

Now this was another of Tatiana's stories, but probably the most believable for me. To understand, the gym is in another building, connected to the main building by a 80% glass hall. It's not very long, but there are plenty of windows. One day, we were coming back from P.E. in a line with our partner holding our hand, like usual. I was partners with Tatiana that day and very tired. We were almost at the end of the line. I wasn't really paying attention to anything and my mind was pretty blank. Then Tatiana stopped, which pulled my hand to the other direction. I was annoyed and didn't even look back, just yanked on her arm to go. Later she told us that she'd seen a girl, stuck in a window. She said she had two different half's of a face, one side with straight hair, one with curly. Apparently she was almost blue and was trying to pull her into the window. She said that if I hadn't pulled her, she'd be stuck. Honestly, she was probably just talking to someone in the back and stopped, but that story was quite believable for me, since I had taken part in it.

1. Dissapearing objects

This is another thing that happened often. Things would dissapea and reappear in different places, or just be gone all together. First time we noticed it was, when we were playing with these tiny toys that our teacher brought into our class for us. It was after school and we were just waiting on our parents to come pick us up. As we were playing, one of the toys fell to the floor. It was kinda annoying, since the table was packed with toys and we didn't want to accidentally bump into it or lose more toys. But it was a very important character, so Tatiana and Sofia went to pick it up. They couldn't find it so after awhile we were all on the floor looking for it. It really wasn't anywhere and we never found it again. Tatiana or Sofia might have picked it up and hide it, but I don't think they're that smart
Ok now, this is kinda long, so I'll make a part two, since there's still some more stories to share. I know this probably sounds like children's made up lies, but back then it was very serious to us and looking back, they're the best memories I had of that school. Which on the other hand isn't that great.

at the end of It Ends With Us, Lily mentions moving out of the apartment Ryle bought and finding a new one for her and Emerson.
however, in It Starts With Us, context makes it sound like they’re still in the old apartment, especially since Ryle has a key. Lily mentions that he “still” has a key from when she was pregnant… and she wouldn’t have given him a key to a new apartment after their divorce.

This glitch allows you to dupe your vehicles again and again in the same session. These are dirty dupes, so please do put a custom plate onto the vehicle you are duping before you start.

Requirements:

• A festival bus personal vehicle (non-Pegasus)
  
• Facility with all normal vehicle slots full
  
• One CEO Garage with at least 1 slot empty (if your festival bus is not saved there) OR one full CEO garage with your festival bus saved inside
  
• An apartment garage or a normal garage to save your duped vehicles
  
• Friend to help
  
• Vehicle you are duping
  

BEFORE YOU START, I’d recommend you to use an invite only session or a closed friend session to make it more convenient
Steps:

1. Get your friend to go into a closed friend session, then he/she starts “A Titan of a Job” and stay in last step of the menu (actually most contact jobs would work)
   
2. Get in your festival bus and drive into the selected CEO garage, accept full alert
   
3. On black screen, press home to open Social Club and select to join your friend’s game (you know, the one who’s waiting in “A Titan of a Job”)
   
4. Stay on the alert (where it says “Do you wish to join…….”)
   
5. Get your friend to quit the job through and through
   
6. You click accept on the alert, and it should say the job is no longer available and throw you back into a session
   
7. If your friend is not in the same session, now is the time to invite them in
   
8. Go to your Facility and enter on foot, then exit
   
9. Pull up your phone and call your mechanic, request for the vehicle you will be duping
   
10. Get in your vehicle, open up your interaction menu and leave it open, then drive to the yellow entry circle of your facility
    
11. Close your interaction menu, and stay on the black screen full alert
    
12. Your friend needs to flip your vehicle upside down (using whatever method they are comfortable with)
    
13. Once your friend tells you vehicle is upside down (get him/her to honk or something) click on yes to accept the alert
    
14. Exit your vehicle, proceed to your intended garage (you can use various apartment/normal garages as long as they have space available)
    
15. Steal a street car (one that allows you to drive into a garage, not those that are “too hot to modify”)
    
16. Drive the street car into the intended garage
    
17. You should see the street car already saved inside, and the game will ask you to save over a vehicle
    
18. Select the street car you just drove in, and you are done
    
19. To repeat, go back to your facility, repeat from Step 10
    

NOTES - Glitchout steps can still be done if you do not have a personal vehicle Festival Bus, but your friend has one. You can ride as a passenger in your friend’s festival bus, and do the same glitchout, although you’ll need to still join your friend at Step 3 - 6

• CEO Garages: Maze Bank West is the easiest to drive the Festival Bus into, just drive it in backwards. Max Bank Tower is also doable, but you’ll have to lean towards the left of the shutter, and you’ll still need to ram pretty hard
  
• Step 10 through to Step 14, can be done solo IF you are extremely confident you can flip your own vehicle. Flipping the vehicle is much easier on consoles than on PC, due to their controllers. The trick here then, is to accept the alert while you are upside down, even if you are in the air (but not too high)
  

I've not seen this scam posted so I thought I'd mention it. There is a rental scam occurring where the scammers advertise a property for rent that is already occupied by someone else.
The scammers are making it all appear very legit. They have the person sign the lease, pay the 1st month's rent and deposit, and even give the person a bogus key to get in, but by the time they arrive and realize it's a scam, the scammers are already long gone.
My friend has had 2 different couples show up at her home in the past 3 days because of this scam.
One older couple came to see the outside of house from the address listed in the ad before renting it afraid it may be a scam. The couple, thankfully, hadn't filled out any paperwork or paid any money yet. When they showed up and found out someone was living there already they were able to warn my friend about everything they knew about her house address being listed for rent and all the scam details that they knew. Both the couple and my friend reported it to the police.
The other couple wasn't as lucky. They had done everything online, were told the key to get in was in specific place at the house. This couple had came from out of state and was relocating. They had all their items packed in a uhaul, ready to move in. Imagine their surprise when they got there. My friend and this couple also notified the police.
My friend added the details of the scam to her online neighborhood page and warned all her friends about what had occurred. I thought I'd add it here incase others aren't aware of it.
So, everyone be on the lookout and stay safe whether you're someone looking for a place to rent, or are already set up in a house or apartment because it's getting harder to tell what is legit, and what isn't.
