There’s a recent post floating around with respect to what the Murder Sheet couple said in their March 20, 2023 podcast:

With all due respect to the OP and her thoughts on the couples comments. I think you have to listen yourself and make your own opinion on what they said, and what they meant. It did make for a good discussion— that’s for sure. And honestly I think that’s what it’s all about.
Just wanted to go over it because it sounds to me Kevin and Aine are telling people not to read too much into the River search and some of the events leading up to Richard Allen’s arrest. It’s odd they would suddenly start telling people to not read too much into the custody transfer of Junior to the ISP, the Wabash River search, granny’s backyard burn pit search, and Richard Allen’s backyard pile of ashes— which ultimately led to Allen’s arrest.
Strange the couple with the podcast and bevy of Delphi leaks would suddenly be telling everyone not to do any speculating themselves. Who are they talking to? So they really think the public at large shouldn’t speculate like they speculate? We can’t put two and two together and come up with three?

The Wabash River Search started on 8/19/2022 and ended on 9/28/2022. We know the River search ended and next thing the ISP investigators were focused on was backyard ashes in Peru and Delphi.

The search behind grandma’s house started sometime in early October 2022 and was immediately followed by Allen’s backyard search that took place on 10/13/2022.

“They were definitely snooping around a lot at the fire pit and at the backyard,” a neighbor said, who described “lots of flashlights, lots of pictures, lots of sifting.”
The neighbors couldn’t make sense of why the fire pit was being examined at the time, saying “we never really see them burn things.”
We don’t know what was found but we can speculate from the photos being taken they found something. The obvious things they would have destroyed is anything that may have the girls DNA and their own DNA on it: s Clothing, jackets, hoodies, gloves, boots, hats, ski mask, seat cover, floor mats, etc..
It doesn’t take much common sense to know exactly why they were searching through someone’s mothers backyard burn pit. It didn’t take them long to move from one burn pit to the next. Peru, Indiana to Delphi, Indiana. The backyard on Paw Paw Pike to the backyard on Whiteman Rd. There is no mistaking who the FBI and the ISP is looking at. He has a violent criminal history. He was downloading the type of CSAM that will get you 20 years in a state penitentiary. He had a lot to lose if anyone went to their parents or the police with what they were doing to LIbby and Libby’s friend. Not long after murdering two teenage girls he was in Galveston, Indiana using the same ski mask he possibly used on RL’s land. Trust me it’s not the son they are after—- it’s the dad. The same guy that according to his own son he has held a gun on both him and his mother. How many people have we read about so far in this investigation that have held a gun on their own child and the mother of their only child? Could that same panicked UAW man hold a gun on two teenager’s, and do what he did to save his pedophile loser ass from going to jail the rest of his life?
So I’m gathering Aine and Kevin are telling people to not put stock in juniors CSAM case producing a plea deal that helps with the Delphi case. Personally I think any plea deal Junior would make with respect to Delphi would be based on his involvement in the murders. In other words he’s going to have to tell what he knows and what he did that day. The CSAM charges he’s facing are an entirely separate criminal investigation. Could there once have been a plea deal to plead guilty on the CSAM— in order to make a plea deal on Delphi once the CSAM charges are signed and sealed? Who knows.
But why are the MS Monotone’s suddenly telling us to not speculate on anything relating to that River search and those ash sifting searches in the backyards?
I know I was commenting along with another Redditor 8-9 months ago about a possible burn barrel behind the Canal Street house. Same with evidence being thrown in the Wabash River behind that Canal Street house. Coincidently they did find a loaded .38 within 1400’ of the river frontage behind the Canal Street. At least that’s what we know from an article about the 2019 Annual DeTrash the Wabash cleanup campaign. Junior was playing with a .38 and taking pictures of it to post to his Twitter. Another huge coincidence? Is it wrong to speculate he threw the knife in the River, too.
Not sure what they found in the Wabash River below the Kelly Street bridge, but I know it wasn’t nothing— I speculate it was somebody’s hunting knife. I also think they burned clothing, footwear and anything that could have incriminating DNA on it— behind the two respective homes some 40 miles apart. It is common sense to put the chain of events together. It’s common sense to think the guy who admits to chatting with Libby online that day—- somebody that had been catfishing her and her friends all that winter— somehow are logically connected to the murders of these two young girls.
I still haven’t figured out the Murder Sheet Monotones. Are they some secret undercover couple that’s been colluding with investigators this whole time. Are they part of a complex plan to out the men responsible for tricking two girls into walking to the isolated south end of one extremely dangerous bridge.
I think everyone could agree this is one strange murder investigation. I did watch a short Carroll County administrator meeting were they were arguing over $5000 extra to help with Allen’s prosecution. Heck I think we should start a GoFundMe page for the prosecution if the state of Indiana is not going to pony up with some dollars. I’d put up $100 to help prosecute the little troll man murderer if I knew it’d help.
I’d even throw in an extra $20 for McLelland to get a haircut. The Don Johnson look went out in the 80’s for shits sake. What the hell is in the water there?

So I'm aware that most people say that to land jobs in the ML field, you need a MD or a PhD. Others are more optimistic about online courses (free or otherwise). Keeping that in mind, I'd like to ask you about a program by the MIT/Great Learning called Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions". It lasts 12 weeks and boasts an intensive hands-on approach, is project/portfolio-building and is overall attractive, save for two things: it's quite costly (USD2,200); and I have found a small percentage of very negative reviews regarding the inappropriately aggressive behavior of their sales personnel.
So this brings me to the following conundrum:

1. A certified course might be more valuable than a free one, because of the diploma, mentors, structured learning and networking.
2. But a certificate might not be enough for landing a job in the real world. Thus, neither free learning nor certificates (online or otherwise) may suffice.

So keeping this in mind, would it be worth it to pursue this program, with the prospect of perhaps pursuing a PhD/MD later on, and meanwhile landing a lower paying job? Or should I just stick to Coursera? Perhaps a 'third way' would be to stack up on less costly programs that are also certified by prestige institutions?

Hey there peeps I was wondering if any one of you can highlight which one a candidate should opt for
My background : MSc in Physics (with maths as subsidiary)
The placements of both the programmes are at par with each other the only difference is PGDBA caters mainly to roles in business analytics while MBA may land me any role spanning across HR, Finance, operations, marketing etc.
My career interest lies somewhere in the operations and analytics domain because of my techinical background but without any work experience in the relevant field I am not too sure as of yet (hopefully will be able to figure out during my MBA). My question is - Will an MBA as a fresher give me an opportunity to become business analyst without any prior work ex ? Or just marketing roles are what companies will take me in for? (Forgive my ignorance I have no one to discuss these woes with - all I have heard is that mostly freshers are preferred for marketing during the final placement season? )
If I have to choose a field I would place sales and marketing at the bottom in terms of career interests. I am terrified of it 😞
So here is my question - if I am not 100% sure I want to be a business analyst all my life and may enjoy working in other fields too (except marketing) which course is my best bet? In short a fresher like me after an MBA from old IIMs ending up in a business analyst role -is that possible? Or should I consider business analytics based courses like PGDBA/MBA in business analytics more?

I'm not sure if I've been scammed, but context is I bought a parcel (sqm) within a 20ha property early last year and the only document that was presented to me was tax declaration only, but with the rightful owners.
Upon full payment, I was given a Memorandum of Agreement document since Deeds of Sale (daw) requires a declaration of specific lot number pa and the 20ha is yet to be divided and surveyed by the DENR.

The broker said that it was 'that' kind of land, and once the lot number is already identified, then the Deeds will follow. From then on, we can process the title.
Do you think it would be possible for me to expedite this process? I was planning kasi to work overseas kung palarin and ayokong mag-iwan ng backlog sa family ko since we all have our own problems to fix.

Hey bit of a long post but looking for feedback on my financial plan for my family's future.
For context my partner is a decade older than me and a lot of my motivation is to be able to work part time when im 55 in 20 years and she retires so i can be with her while we both have quality of life while trying to set up my childs future. We are not in america so i dont know what the story is with 401k
I have a small house that i live in mortgage free and a lifestyle block that is also mortgage free about a 5 minute drive from our residence.
My plan is to do this house up a little and then build a medium sized shed on my lifestyle block, move into it for a summer while i build a house to live for the rest of our lives and rent out the house we live in to pay the new mortgage. The plan with the rental is to do it in 5 year stretches and then evaluate how happy we are as land lords, we could use this to really pay the mortgage down and if its not for us we can just sell the house and pay the new mortgage off but obviously the longer we keep the house the better for us financially. If we can keep the house and pay the mortgage off than we can use that money to supplement my income while i go part time. If we have to sell then any money that is left over from the sale could be invested in an s&p and the money from that could be used in the same fashion. I also have 2 investment accounts tracking the s&p that i invest 100 a month into each. 1 for us and 1 for our child. Even though i have these 2 properties i make a modest amount of money each week and my partner works part time so i struggle to invest more at this time but the lifestyle block is large enough that i could sub devide a piece for our child to buuld on in the future.
Does this seem realistic or am i missing something? Really just trying to get to a point where i can live comfortably on a 3 day work week with some eztra money feom investment/rental property and my partners pension

Through coming into physical contact with an advert, the user is able to completely change the appearance of that advertisement and make it one of their [Ads]. Once that happens, the user is capable of remotely seeing through any of their [Ads] and allowing the user to see the current [wants and needs] of whoever is looking at the advertisement as well as communicate through them; and in-real time the user is able remotely change it’s contents to further appeal to the customer who might take the offer. Back onto the [Ads] part of the devil fruit, the overall range the user has depends on the amount of [Ads] of any kind relative to each other. With the user’s pseudo-omniscience ranging far and wide as long as an [Ad] is in the relative range of another [Ad]. If a chain of [Ads] are all in relative range of each other and the user is at least in the radius range of one of the [Ads] making up the chain. Then the user will have complete and perfect vision through all of them. If the user is not in range of a mass of [Ads] then the viewing quality from them will begin to lessen. But if there are enough [Ads] in relative range from each other, then that will generally improve the user’s pseudo-omniscience. Weaknesses: The Ad-Ad Fruit is a devil fruit that is not inherently combat-based, requiring a lot of preparation before the devil fruit can be used in such a sense. As on its own it does leave the user with many options besides the primary facets of the devil fruit’s powers. While people who are obvious to the green wires or people who have green wires attached to them but don’t notice the effect they cause are completely unable to see these green wires attached to them and seemingly originate from the sky above. Non-affected people who have been informed by the user themselves of the green wires or have figured out themselves are capable of snipping the green wires. While the user can turn normal advertisable media into their own, allowing for further use of their devil fruit abilities, despite becoming more sturdy in terms of not flying in the wind if a gust came, they will all still possess the same durability and weaknesses as their normal counterparts.
The main demographic for the user are usually run of the mill people, people who aren’t observant enough to pick up the pieces of very slight things that happen to them. Such as the feeling of something latching onto them, their body doing something on their own, or feeling a certain way toward something all of a sudden. All manifested technology ads are the ads usable form combat, however they are at the same time the easiest to deal with. Just by hitting the top right “X” button to close the floating window. Most importantly, the user of the fruit must be somewhat capable of being a sales(wo)man or be willing to learn as a minimum to use this fruit at all or just be able to lie very well to people without feeling guilty.
Combative Info: The Ad-Ad Fruit in its entirety is not inherently for combative use, however it is capable of such use. Through coming into contact with any technological medium that adverts can be placed in, the user can make such ads manifest in the real-world. The windows from computer-like mediums are very durable, easily withstanding multiple cannon fire without such much as a crack. And are also capable of cutting someone by spinning it to further increase the windows cutting power. 3D polygon models act similar to props then anything that the user can telekinetically throw, if it so happened to be an animated model, then once manifested it will repeat its actions in a loop. The user can easily create high-quality advertisements of any kind for any purpose on any advertisable medium. Being able to create a fully fledged security system by viewing through any and all [ads].
Techniques:
[Advertise]: The user physically touches a medium used for advertisement and transforms it into whatever form of marketable advertisement the user can imagine. When used on things such as paper or signs, the user erases whatever was written/printed on them before printing whatever they could think of. When used on a technological device, the user is simply able to instantly create pop-up ads and video advertisements. So long as it was possible on the chosen medium.

• [Limited Time Promotion]: The user creates a special ad under the guise of a promotional campaign, and whatever they are selling will be only available for a limited time. Increasing incentive for unassuming targets to quickly make a deal as the user reduces the time limit to add pressure on them.
• [Auction Sweepstake]: The user creates advertisements through any televised or radio broadcasting linked to a special advertisement that visually presents an auction sweepstake of multiple [“intended product”] that hypes them up and pretends to increase the bidding from a low price to make it look very valuable.
• [Wonder Trading]: The user creates numerous special ads that work off the basis of giving away a random item in response to a target donating a random item through this special advert. The value of the item given and received are completely, but the user can alter such values to weigh to their favour or someone else's. In addition to being able to see one’s wants and needs, the user can give out specific items to targets so that they are incentivized to donate more for similar items they desire.

[[Silly Strings]]: The user summons special string-like green wires from the sky onto the backs of a [InDEBT Consumer]. The more wires attached onto the back of a victim, the more susceptible they are to any of the user’s manipulations. The wires themselves become more durable and stronger the further the number of th deals the user makes, but will decrease the more deals get broken. While general training with them will make the base strength of the wires more stronger.

• [Sleight of Hand]: The user calls for a specific line of [[Silly Strings]] that are attached to a [InDEBT Consumer]. It will descend from the sky and wrap around the user’s finger, from there the user is able to completely control whatever part of the victim the wire is attached to. From making ever so slight hand gestures to weave the [InDEBT Consumer] to do whatever the user wants so long as they don’t make it apparent or obvious that they're being orchestrated.
• [Debt Termination]: The user manipulates all of the [[Silly Strings]] attached to a [InDEBT Consumer] and wrapped them in a dangerous sharp hold; particularly around the neck and in turn strangling them to death. Although when the user does this, the [[Silly Strings]] become visible to anyone around the victim who isn’t in debt, allowing them to snip the wires during this time.
• [Account Freeze]: The user summons all the [[Silly Strings]] attached to a [InDEBT Consumer] and simply halt the movement of the victim, for further entrapment the user wills the strings to wrap around the joints of the [InDEBT Consumer]. However once more doing such an action will cause non-[InDEBT Consumers] to witness the existence of the [[Silly Strings]].
• [Raining Green]: The user releases all the [[Silly Strings]] from a [InDEBT Consumer’s] body, causing them to each detach from that victim. The user then manipulates all of them to rain down upon a target and pierce them straight through. Alternatively the user can wrap themselves in a few of the [[Silly Strings]] to lift themselves off the ground and into the air. Similar to that of the [String-String Fruit].

[Manifested Windows]: The user focuses their [Ad-Ad Fruit] power on an advertisement off a technological screen. This causes the advertisement shown on the screen to begin to distort before literally coming out of the screen and assuming itself a 3d form. These manifested windows can be used in various ways from offence to defence. These 3d advertisements can be interacted with like advertisements the user creates. But the user is able to revert any of these manifests into 2d shapes and place them around like normal handout adverts, minimising them so that they maximise when someone is near, or make them float toward the nearest person and harass them.

• [3D Knockout]: The user creates manifested windows advertisements, and transforms them into 2d windows before having them slide underneath certain parts of a target’s body. And after they’ve slid under, the 2d windows instantly become 3d once more and collide into the target with excessive force.
• [[POP-UP Tabs]]: The user creates manifested windows advertisements, and transforms them into 2d windows before minimising them. The 2d manifested windows then sneak up on a target, and right when they least expect it, the windows maximise themselves and pop-up right in-front of the target.
• [Spam Mail]: The user or their [InDEBT Consumer] sets up many hidden pop-ups, minimised and scattered across every corner, door, window, device, etc and have them activated to the closest sentient being approaches its proximity. The Spam Mail pop-up will surprise and continuously annoy them by playing their own sound clips over and over again. And whenever they are closed, they will slightly shift out of the way.
• [Advertisement Block]: The user either during or out of combat grabs a manifested window and expands the window out to defend against attacks. But when expanded, the user can also turn the entire window 3-D, gaining a sudden immense amount of weight added to it. And crushing whoever the user drops it on, or they can use it as a shield or blockade.
• [Loud Notification]: The user creates a special variation of pop-up tab, that plays a loud and obnoxious-type of ringing noise whenever they are open. They can be programmed to follow targets and continuously play the same sound over again similar to spam mail.
• [Advertised Product]: The user reaches over and sticks their hand into an advertisement that’s showcasing an item and grabs it. Then the user pulls the product out of advertisement and into the real world. The user can use the product similar to the actual version, however it will be only half as effective. All that is left of the product from the advertisement is a white space shaped exactly like the item.

Awakening:
Once the user of the Ad-Ad Fruit awakens, catching up their body and mind to the levels of their own ability. The standard abilities given when first consumed are significantly increased beyond what they were before, the proverbial range of advertisements are increased, the strength and durability of [[Silly Strings]] improved, the intricacies of the [InDEBT Consumer]’s body that can be manipulated are heightened, and much more. The former weakness of the devil fruit where the user needed a pre-established advertisement or materials to use their devil fruit has been lifted to an extent*****. Now all the user needs to do to create an advertisement is to simply make a sales pitch of any kind, with the more grandeur the pitch, the stronger the advertisement. The user can even now conjure pop-up tabs and digital lettering in thin air to help begin a sales pitch, or enhance their own speechcraft. They can even be used in combat if the user desires, though they are not as potent as physical advertisements or manifested tabs.
However that is only half of the entire awakening, the other half focuses on the conceptual power of the devil fruit and what the user can exactly turn into an “Advertisement”. While in the pre-awakening state, the user is only able to bargain for and sell physical objects and beings. Now the user is able to wrap their [[Silly Strings]] on more intangible [products] such as a person’s soul, in turn granting complete control over an individual, or perhaps something that has yet to exist like a person’s first born. My former landlord owned a plot of land on the corner of my block adjacent to my apartment. It was used as a business property.
A creditor of the business was owed a large sum of money that the former landlord defaulted on. I am assuming her properties were collateral because she lost them to foreclosures.
A new owner purchased the home I rent in a short sale and we have a formal lease now and it’s been about 1 year with new landlord and all is good.
I just got a document in the mail today from the Plaintiff’s attorney regarding the business property next door which I’ve never even set foot on, and was shocked to see that me and my boyfriend are listed as defendants along with the former owner.
The document says it’s called a notice of entry, and says that it’s a “notice of the order, confirming referee, report and judgment of foreclosure and sale issued by the judge” and it talks about how there’s I guess an appointee called the referee that’s going to be handling the auction of the property. The document is very hard to really understand.
I do not want to have my name on record in the court system as being a defendant in a judgment like this when I have absolutely nothing to do with the property at all and am just collateral damage - no pun intended.
What should I do? Can I be on the hook for any monetary judgments? Is this something I can remove without having to hire a lawyer and pay any fees (I’m broke as f’ck).

After multiple years and searching in multiple markets - Joshua tree, San Diego, marin county, we finally closed on a home in Chicago.
We used Wells Fargo for financing, the team was Cali based so moved incredibly quickly and were amazing.
SFH and we locked a 5.375 rate 45 days prior to closing. Then paid 7k and leveraged a relationship discount to land at 4.875% 30 year fixed.
Now starting to manage the ever growing list of things to handle.

I am in the process of selling an apartment in Dubai and have agreed with the Agency on not paying any agency fee from my side as seller. They confirmed this and it is mentioned in Contract A with DLD, This is also mentioned in Contract F which acts as MoU.
However, there is a clause in the Addendum to Contract F which says: "In addition to the Service Charges the seller agrees to pay the NOC for transfer fees (if applicable) and Sale progression fees, to complete the transfer of the property." As these Sale Progression Fees were mentioned in a clause which referred to things solving with the Developer I have asked them about this "Sale Progression Fee" but they said they are not charging it. With that
However, three days before going to trustee office to finalize the transfer, the Agency approached me with "Sale Progression Fees" to be paid fro my side which amounts to AED 2,625. The calculation of this fee is also a mystery. The just mentioned it`s like that!
In the whole sales process this "Sale Progression Fee" has never been mentioned by the Agency! This fee was never mentioned by the Agent on phone, not in any WhatsApp, and except this small hidden sentence (which I mentioned above) there is no any referal to this fee in the whole Contract A and/or F nor any other communication about this. The Agency also don`t want to waive it!
According to my Lawyer this fee is legal, however I will check with Land Department as well!
Even if Agencies get their commission (or part of commission from buyer in my case) they found a new hidden fee to charge for a job, which is obviously their initial job: getting the sale or purchase done!
Just be aware of this when selling property! Read the contract9s) EXTREMLY CAREFUL and ask and clarify each and every small sentence and even single words!

I am asking for a neighbor of mine. A house next door to my neighbor has been put up for sale(very quickly) and their fence line and structures are encroaching almost 1m over my neighbors boundary lines. The homeowner and agent are aware. My neighbor was only recently made aware of the issue and had not yet had the land surveyed. I went to the opening and when I asked if it was encroaching he flat out lied and said no. They are wanting a quick sale in the next two weeks and we want to save any potential owners the hassle of finding out down the track.
What can the neighbor do? Does the estate agent legally have to tell potential buyers?

I recently sold my distressed property to a home buying company. After escrow closed, I noticed that the deed filed under a name other than the home buying company I thought I was selling to. I called escrow and they explained that my sales contract was “assigned” to another buyer. It looks like a deed was already filed with the county but it is not available yet for viewing. My question is: how could it be possible that I signed a deed to party X but when the deed was recorded it shows under party Y’s name? Wouldn’t I have had to sign the deed over to party Y specifically? How did a real estate wholesaler assign this to someone else when party Y’s name was on none of the closing docs I signed?

TLDR: Evil sister took advantage and coerced our mom into signing real-estate documents after a court hearing found my mom to be mentally incompetent. Evil sis removed her from the state that found her mentally incompetent so she could get the documents notarized to proceed with the sale. Evil Sis is now with holding the money that should be rightfully our mothers from the sale of that home.
This is a long one, here goes nothing...
Background: My mother was diagnosed with schizophrenia about 2 years ago. Around that time the home she was given by my grandma when I was very young was being repossessed by my grandma and cousin due to lack of documentation showing the complete payments of land contract. This is what ultimately brought on the schizophrenic diagnoses from the doc. My mother's mood disorders (bi polar, depression, anxiety...ect) got much worse after the stress of the home she'd lived in for almost 20 years being taken. She tried to fight them in court but the documents she needed to prove payment were nowhere to be found. That house was eventually awarded back to my grandma in court and has since been sold.
During that process my mom went totally bonkers, got arrested and taken to a hospital where she was kept for over 3 months because she continuously tested positive for Covid and couldn't be released when a bed opened up in a real mental hospital. She was not happy staying in that hospital. That coupled with her extreme mental problems led to violent incidences taking place between her and the staff. Escalating to the point of her breaking out a locked room (she actually broke through the drywall of the room to make it into the neighboring patient's room, freed that patient from being tied down to the bed and left out the door.) The security guards chased, darted her with a huge dose of sedatives, tackled her down and choked her out. My oldest sister went to see her a day after this happened and found her beaten and bruised tied to the hospital bed so she couldn't try to escape again. When we requested the hospital provide us with the details of what happened and show us the security footage they refused and said it had been locked in a secure vault that could only be released through court order. We didn't know what to do and felt my mom had been acting violently so we just dropped it and moved on. After all my mom certainly wasn't in a position to be able to hire a lawyer, and any lawyers we talked to about it didn't want anything to do with it because of her mental status. Eventually the hospital released her and she was moved to a group home where she could come and go as she pleased. Remember she has no home to go back to now because it was taken during a court hearing which she could not attend due to being in the hospital and mentally incompetent (although mental incompetence hadn't been legally ruled yet). Eventually she showed up at my oldest sister's house. My sister got a motel room for my mom. She also got involved working with APS and the state of MI to try to get my mom some care or long-term treatment because it was becoming overwhelmingly obvious that my mom wouldn't be capable of self-care.
My mom co owned a second property in FL with my middle sister, we'll call her MS for simplicity sake. About 10 years ago my mom purchased the property with MS in the hopes she would help fix it up and have a place to live. This resulted in a very ugly and unpleasant real-estate battle, eventually settling on my mom making payments to MS until the full balance was paid off. It's hard to say since i don't have access to the records at this point, but I've been told my mom owed less than 15K to MS to pay that property off entirely.
But now my mom can't complete the payments because she's unstable and unable to care for herself. We started the process with the state to get guardian/conservatorship assigned to someone so those necessities could be addressed. Legal process is slow, especially because of Covid, it made things take 2x as long. Within that time the taxes started piling up on the FL property, fees from the city started coming in due to the grass being unkept ect... MS took on paying those things and became increasingly hostile and manic about the legal proceedings so she could sell the FL property. It was listed on the market and a few interested buyers made offers but mom was too paranoid and unstable to be willing to sign the docs (especially after the initial trigger of the first property being taken). Months went by, the court cases came, and guardianship was awarded to a 3rd party representative. During our court hearing, the representative for the guardian was not present (apparently due to family emergency situation... go figure), this responsibility was awarded to someone who was not in attendance. Weeks went by, we all received papers stating exactly who had been appointed, along with contact info. MS attempted to reach out over and over with no responses. After a while we were told that the guardian never actually signed the papers to accept the role. That was why there had been no movement in the handling of my mom's assets, living situation (she was still homeless, in and out of group home and motels when she was willing to trust staying there).
MS got tired of it; she flew to MI to coerce my mom into signing the real-estate papers allowing MS to take ownership and sell the property. MS also thought it would be a good idea to buy a plane ticket for my mom and fly her to the state of TX where MS resides. This was her attempt at "taking guardianship since nobody else would" even though the MI courts specifically awarded a 3rd party due to the disagreements in the family surrounding MS being guardian. Oldest Sis and I didn't trust that MS had moms' best interest at heart and assumed she only wanted the role to take advantage of the real-estate situation.
Once my mom left the state of MI, because the guardian never actually signed the paperwork to take control, I'm being told the entire ruling is no longer valid. If and when my mom gets back to MI she will have to go through the legal process all over again. We've tried getting her help in Tx but there are fewer social programs for someone like her, most things you have to apply for the only long-term mental facilities are privately owned, and we can't afford to house her there for long. And because she's paranoid she won't apply for any government assistance programs; nobody is legally her guardian so we cannot do it on her behalf. She's been homeless for the past 6 months, MS successfully sold the FL property and is now withholding the money that would have been my mom's portion.
I know there are documents that show MS coerced my mom into signing real-estate docs AFTER she was found mentally incompetent by the state of MI. I know there are documents showing all the payments my mom made to MS over the years for the FL property and exactly how much mom would be owed after the sale of the property. MS refuses to share those or even discuss at this point. She had a baby a few months ago, used the money from the FL property to purchase a new home and is content to leave my mom homeless in the state she flew her to despite my mom wanting to go back to MI where she was raised her entire life.
At this point I feel I have no choice. I've decided to get involved to help figure out a living situation for my mom back in MI and escort her on a plane back home. MS refuses to disclose how much money my mom has so I can't determine a reasonable living situation and ensure expenses will be able to be covered.
All I want to do is help my mom have somewhere to go using the money that's rightfully hers so she's not homeless anymore. If anyone can advise on the type of lawyer I would need to talk to for help please share. I'm not even sure what legal grounds we have at this point since shes been moved from MI to TX. Any insight or suggestions for next steps is very much appreciated. I just hope there's some way justice can be done for my mom, yes, she's difficult and insane but that doesn't mean she should be robbed by her daughter.
I'm also curious if there's any legal options for holding the hospital accountable. The nurses mentioned that the security guards overdosed her with sedative and were concerned at the time. When we asked about it later, they refused to discuss or disclose anything.
Sorry for the insanely long novel, it's a lot, I know. At the very least i hope you all enjoy an unbelievably dysfunctional story about my family. Maybe one day I'll write a real novel!

I’m going on 3+ years as a sales engineer with 2 of these being in the field of cybersecurity. I just landed another SE role in cybersec but it is not much more than I was making in my previous role. I make $125,000 base salary on an OTE 70/30 split.
For the next year or two, I want to work on elevating myself technically to ensure my next role puts me somewhere between $160k- $200k per year base salary. I’ve figured that it’s probably best to focus on what my experience is already in. Some of the things I am weighing in order to make myself more marketable are getting cloud certs to showcase knowledge with cloud technologies. I was also considering getting a graduate certificate in cybersecurity from a University and sec+.
Have any sales engineers here been successfully able to break into $160k+ base salary a year? If so, what was your path? Open to any and all advice.
