Post for a compilation of resources we have about Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.
Important info up front:
  1. PC, PS4 and Switch versions all run version 2.0 of P4AU (Also called P4U2R). (Patch Notes). These ports are also called version 2.5. The PS3 and Xbox versions ran version 1.1.
  2. The Switch version did not receive rollback netcode.
  3. PC has more input lag then PS4 version (speculated at 3 frames), and is generally buggier. Most tourneys are run on PS4 for simplicities sake. Both versions have a healthy and active player base, but it IS a discord fighter.

2023.05.30 10:22 Panisenpai Hiring and recruiting. Pizza places are severely underpaid and understaffed (rant)

I have been a GM for an inner major city store residential/airbnb store a little over two years, been with the company for 4, transferring between each column of volume-base. I'm having an exceptionally hard time hiring, especially delivery experts. my last app for a DE was 6 months ago. my current DEs, they are heavenly and they are the most wonderful people, i've kept them for years but they're dropping like flies because they're burning out, can't make enough to maintain their cars or live, to keep up with the volume.
my area is gentrified, new pizza places are opening up left and right, and while my sales have gone down, i've lost good customers, while some other customers are getting more and more bitter because we're raising prices on the menu when we don't need to. Comparing these to menus of other pizza places, you can get better quality, better service for the same price or less.
cost of living has gone up dramatically, but my franchise has kept the same rate of pay across the board for these multiple stores in outer city areas where cost of living is lower. the stores that are located in these outer city/rural areas tend to be the best performing ones.
We start at 12/hr, but i cant seem to get anyone in the door when the fast food joints and retail stores next door are hiring $6+ more an hour. "employees get paid more at competing recruiters, so there's less hours to give. that's why we pay so low" So....we're just supposed to overwork the hell out of our current employees for less? the logic doesn't add up.
I have 4 delivery drivers for around $28k weekly, strongest is dinner and late night. my best employees are soloing every night because i refuse to let them work more than 5 days. they're exhausted.
they can keep doing Boost weeks, but when you're losing employees left and right and still pushing for this customer retention instead of focusing on what makes the company run in the first place, we are driving employees into the ground. more work/not enough pay/not worth it for either the employee or the company. Yet, we still push this obtuse idea.
Boost Week doesn't even retain customers anymore. customers see the ads, they order pizzas for the week, overload the already crumbling staff and never come back, because that's what we stand for as company now.
Pizza places are struggling so hard. I'm considering leaving because my heart hurts for my employees and i can't help but feel as if it's my fault for representing such an asinine mission statement for a Big corporation.
one thing i remember in my training is people work for good managers. but that's simply not true anymore. Good management only goes so far until you can't pay your bills. I love my job and i love working for my people but i cant keep doing this to them, and it's not going to get better. i've had discussions with many of my upper management but there doesn't seem to be a concern or even the slightest bit of support for any of my neighboring stores. my direct supervisor is aware of the situation but there's nothing he can do. I don't care where this gets me. I'm on probation in my company for repeated offenses speaking up about this. I understand that this isn't something that can resolve at my level. life is unfair but this is just cruel. A company that profits so much, bragging a "recession-proof" company, but yet we don't even pay our driving force that put us on the freaking map in the first place, a decent wage to pick up the slack. embarrassing is an understatement.

2023.05.30 10:17 Ok-Energy-1101 Playing curse of strahd as a player and I need help

So my party is at level 5 I am a undying warlock my party members are a fallen paladin a sorcerer and a level 4 monk and level 1 druid,
we were investigating old bonegrinder without any knowledge about what the place was or what it had within and I saw some ravens and I thought it would be funny to eldritch blast it so I did and it cause a lot of issues for my party and our paladin ran up to the knocking sound and proceeded to get one shot by a 66 dmg magic missile and then the rest of my party runs away to which our paladin "catches up" to us holding a box saying something like I gotta deliver these pastries and our sorcerer which is like in game a 8 year old girl says I don't trust you because I used detect magic and I saw and told him what I saw on the back of his neck and proceededs to attack him keep in mind our paladin is wearing possessed armor from the house we got the deed from and our paladin losses control and his armor takes over and kick the shit out of the party, the dm interrupts the fight mid way having the hags put a unavoidable sleep spell on us so we don't all die,
then when we wake up they are demanding we deliver these pastries and for a little context my character has already served a evil master in the past and refuses to do it again which results in me "fake dieing" I get abandoned by my party and I watched while they walk away. So I'm like alright I have no idea what to do so it was bassicly solo adventure of me time so I went to seek guidance about what to do by going to see the abit but he didn't really give me anything useful or anything to go off of
so i get out of earshot of the citizens of the town and call apon strahd for help and I'm planning on nogociating with him but he thinks my party are completely idiots he hates us but also doesn't want us to die which so I plan on making him the offer of bassicly hand delivering the lady he wants to marry if he helps my parents and kills the hags but idk if it will work can I get some help on what to do the dm didn't give me really any direction other then I kinda just need to save the party by killing the hags somehow

2023.05.30 10:15 DJ8838 Overwatch rank

I dont know if ill get hate for this but whatever. Im a casual player who peaked master in support. I have friends who are silvegold. It is a mess to play with them in unranked because my rank upsets the mmr and the games usually are pretty unfair and we tend to lose a lot. I went to my girlfriends account which had 3 hours played, she is a total newbie to games so the account was probably bronze mmr. In a long time we actually had fun playing because we had fair games, and for the record i played mercy for the most time and was pretty much healbotting. But for some reason the game thought we were diamond level and placed us in plat/diamond/master games. And when we got to play competitive after the 50 games i had to win. My friends didnt get promoted after 5 wins in a row, but i got to diamond 3 straight. Wtf is going on, my friends who are silver and gold cant rank up when they are winning againts plats and diamonds. And when my silver 3 tank friend went to play solo Q after our games. He was matched with plats and golds. This ranked system is a joke

2023.05.30 10:00 AutoModerator Daily Discussion Thread May 30, 2023 - Upcoming Event Schedule - New players start here!

Yahoooo! Welcome to the Daily Discussion Thread! Have a very cool day! Luigi numbah one!
Welcome to the Daily Discussion Thread. This is the place for asking noob questions, venting about netplay falcos, shitposting, self-promotion, and everything else that doesn't belong on the front page.

New Players:

If you're completely new to Melee and just looking to get started, welcome! We recommend you go to https://blippi.gg/ and follow the links there based on what you're trying to set up. Additionally, here are a few answers to common questions:
Can I play Melee online? Yes! Slippi is a branch of the Dolphin emulator that will allow you to play online, either with your friends or with matchmaking. Go to https://slippi.gg to get it.
Netplay is hard! Is there a place for me to find new players? Yes. Melee Newbie Netplay is a discord server specifically for new players. It also has tournaments based on how long you've been playing, free coaching, and other stuff. If you're a bit more experienced but still want a discord server for players around your level, we recommend the Melee Online discord.
How can I set up Unclepunch's Training Mode? First download it here. Then extract everything in the folder and follow the instructions in the README file. You'll need to bring a valid Melee ISO (NTSC 1.02)
I'm having issues with Slippi! Go to the The Slippi Discord to get help troubleshooting.
How does one learn Melee? There are tons of resources out there, so it can be overwhelming to start. First check out the SSBM Tutorials youtube channel. Then go to the Melee Library and search for whatever you're interested in.
But how do I get GOOD at Melee? Check out Llod's Guide to Improvement
Where can I get a nice custom controller? https://customg.cc/vendors
I have another question that's not answered here... Check out our FAQs or post below and find help that way.

2023.05.30 09:54 Jarbus4 Event Megathread - Live Groove Visual Burst [なつっこ音頭] (June 2023)

This event lasts until June 8th 20:59 JST. (countdown timer here)
In this event, you are to select a difficulty, and the game will randomly generate a medley consisting of three songs. Songs are selected based on which Groove type it is. All-Type songs will also be selected in any of the Groove types. Only the idols with the same type as the chosen Groove get the 30% same-type Appeal bonus even on All-Type songs.
Your unit's Visual appeal is increased by 150%, thus making it easier to achieve higher score if your unit is Visual-based. This is vital to making into the high-score ranking.
You can change your Groove type and songs if you don't like the songs the game selected. It costs 30,000 money to change it. Press the GROOVEを変更 button to do so. This will select a Groove of a different type from your original selection. You can change Groove again for the second and final time for 50,000 money.
You can also use autoplay tickets to play entire grooves. The amount of tickets you can use at once follows the same formula as autoplaying any other live: max_tickets = floor(2*max_stamina/cost_of_single_live). It works as expected (ie. you will still receive a 0.7x reduction in rewards but there is no penalty to your score), however you do have the option to turn it off during the encore song.
During the Groove, hitting notes will affect the Applause Level in the following way:
Perfect Great Nice Bad Miss
+ Applause + Applause No Change -0.1 Applause -0.1 Applause
The higher score for a note, the higher Applause level you receive. Thus, higher combo yields higher Applause level. Bad and Miss will both result in -0.1 Applause level.
You can choose to rest between songs during a medley, and the game will throw you back to the title screen, where you can close the game and resume your medley later, without losing stamina. Keep in mind that if you choose not to resume your medley, you'll lose your stamina.
Ending a LIVE Groove at Applause Lv 17 or more allows you to play Natsukko Ondo as an encore. If you are playing on Master and it's Lv 21 or more, you have the option to play the MASTER+ difficulty for Natsukko Ondo (or just MASTER).
Before entering the encore stage, you can choose to replenish your health for 10 jewels. You can also choose to rest and resume playing the encore stage at a later time (choosing this will boot you back to the title screen). Generally it's not advised to replenish your health, since it costs the same to revive after you fail.
You can choose to play with 2x the Stamina for a single play from the start of the event. You receive 2x the Event Points, Money, Exp, Fans, and Hearts.
You can view the MV of Natsukko Ondo after clearing a Groove once. Just press the MV button at the upper-right corner of the difficulty selection screen. You can also use your Rehearsal Ticket to practice Natsukko Ondo. Press the Rehearsal button next to the MV button.
There is a Stamina Drink 50 for logging in (ie going to the event page). The Stamina Drink 50 EXPIRES daily, so use it!!!
Event businesses give out Event Points as well.
Rewards are handed out 15 hours after the end of the event.

2023.05.30 09:01 El_dorado_au Children’s picture books in LatAm

Are picture books a major thing in Latin America? I’m thinking about the level of approximately a few sentences a page, such as “Where’s Spot?” or “Possum Magic”.
I’ve tried two smallish bookstores in Peru and although they had a lot of books and educational material for children, there wasn’t anything at that level. At best they had books with each page illustrated but with several paragraphs of text per page.
Also, are there famous Latin American picture books (not picture books by Americans of Latino background) or authors thereof?

Boosting Your Body’s Defenses: The Role Of Multivitamins In Overcoming Weakness

We all experience times when we feel weak, tired, or run down. Whether it’s due to stress, illness, or simply not getting enough sleep, weakness in the body can take a toll on our overall well-being. Fortunately, multivitamins can be a powerful tool for boosting our body’s defenses and overcoming weaknesses. These supplements contain a blend of essential vitamins and minerals that support a wide range of bodily functions, from immune system health to energy production.

Understanding Weakness: Causes And Symptoms

Weakness in the body is a common symptom that can be caused by a variety of factors. Some of the most common causes of weakness include lack of sleep, poor nutrition, dehydration, and physical exertion. In some cases, underlying medical conditions such as anemia, diabetes, or thyroid disorders may also contribute to feelings of weakness. Symptoms of weakness can vary depending on the cause but often include fatigue, difficulty concentrating, muscle weakness or pain, and overall lethargy. It’s important to pay attention to these symptoms and address any underlying causes to prevent weakness from becoming chronic or debilitating. In addition to taking steps to address the root causes of weakness, incorporating a multivitamin into your daily routine can be an effective way to support your body’s natural defenses and improve overall energy levels. By understanding the causes and symptoms of weakness, you can take proactive steps to maintain your health and well-being.

How Multivitamins Support Your Body’s Defenses:

1. Multivitamins provide a wide range of essential vitamins and minerals that support overall health and well-being.
2. Vitamins such as A, C, and E are known for their immune-boosting properties, while B vitamins help convert food into energy. ( vitamin D3 )
3. Multivitamins can also help address nutrient deficiencies, which can contribute to feelings of weakness or fatigue.
4. Taking a daily multivitamin can help ensure that your body has all the nutrients it needs to function at its best.
5. Research has shown that regular multivitamin use may help reduce the risk of certain chronic diseases, including heart disease, cancer, and osteoporosis.

Key Vitamins and Minerals for Combating Weakness.

1. Vitamin B12: Needed for energy production and red blood cell formation, which transport oxygen to the body.
2. Iron: Vital for healthy blood flow and oxygen transport, especially for women who may be at risk for iron deficiency anemia.
3. Vitamin D: Helps the body absorb calcium, which is essential for strong bones and muscles.
4. Magnesium: Critical for muscle and nerve function, and can help reduce fatigue and weakness.
5. Vitamin C: A potent antioxidant that supports immune system health and can help fight off infections.
6. Vitamin E: A powerful antioxidant that can help protect cells from damage and support immune function.
7. Calcium: Crucial for bone health and muscle function, including the ability to contract and relax muscles.

Choosing the Right Multivitamin: Tips and Recommendations

1. Look for a reputable brand: Choose a multivitamin from a brand that has a proven track record of producing high-quality supplements.
2. Check the label: Make sure the multivitamin contains the vitamins and minerals you need, and avoid any unnecessary additives or fillers.

2023.05.30 08:48 Haksupaksu How can I get to Diamond

Adc main - solo
Hundreds of games on multiple accounts
Stuck in Plat 4 elo
I climb 2 ranks in one day, proceeding to lose 10 games in a row.
What am I doing wrong?
I just can't bring myself to that level to carry every single game.
I have found succees playing extremely aggressive on lane, pushing my opponent to make mistakes, get fed and snowball the game.
My games dont last longer than 30 minutes.
I try playing adc's that dont need such a high scaling to win, champions like jhin, mf, twitch, jinx.
I try to dodge games that seem hopeless.
I get 18lp for a win and -28 for a loss.
How do I get to that level to be enough to carry me to diamond so I can find peace.
Should I force midlane after first bot tower? (This has lead to my mid lane get mad and lose the game)
What should I do if my support autofills? (I cant play how I normally do, I dont find win conditions in me afk farming on bot waiting for a roam or a bad dive)
Should I try to push ff more to stop wasting time in games that are lost? (Is it worth going the extra mile to try scale while enemy is pushing with 3 dragons and a baron buff)
I rarely lose games when im ahead
How can I push my jungler to make a dive or take dragons more often?
(If enemy team is playing bot side to get prio to dragons and roaming to dive us, I usually lose those games. Even if my jungler is trying to play top side and maybe get scuttle, its not going to get us more than a first turret and maybe a kill on malphite)
I certainly don't have what it takes to be diamond, just hopeless at this point trying to achieve a goal so out of my reach.
Trying to post here since summonerschool removed my post

2023.05.30 08:22 Asajev [Question] Traveller Economics

Hey guys I found information on T4 Pocket Empire and T5 on the economics of a star system. They have slightly different approaches to calculations. Could you guys give me additional book sources were I can look at more economic stuff that could help run factions/empires. I was thinking of running a Dynasty game solo for myself using Mg1e books but have regular players play at the normal ground level but they will see the movements of factions and have that influence other levels of play. For that I think a greater understanding of economics in Traveller as a whole might be useful for my game prep. So if you know other books that might be a great source of information please let me know.

2023.05.30 08:12 PmMeYourFeels How do I configure the refind.conf and refind_linux.conf (and or config.yaml (for ZFSBootMenu)) files properly when installing Arch Linux with ZFS Native Encryption?

Hello,
As the title suggests, I am attempting to install OpenZFS with Native ZFS Encryption on a fresh installation of Arch Linux whilst utilizing rEFInd as my bootloader.
After carefully completing all the appropriate steps, exiting arch-chroot, unmounting all my ZFS datasets, exporting my ZFS pool, unmounting my ESP, powering off my system, and unplugging my USB containing my Arch Live ISO, I am greeted with the following error when I attempt to boot my system back up and boot into my fresh Arch Linux system with ZFS Native Encryption via selecting it on rEFInd:

Starting vmlinuz-linux Using load options 'zfs=zroot/sys/arch-0/root/arch-RWSmith
cryptdevice=/dev/disk/by-partlabel/Root-0-NVMe:zroot
rw
add_efi_memmap
initrd=boot\intel-ucode.img
initrd=boot\initramfs-%v.img
initrd=etc\zfs\zroot.key
initrd=\boot\initramfs-linux.img'
Invalid loader file!
Error: Not found while loading vmlinuz-linux
** Hit and key to continue **

What caught my attention was that there was an added back slash after "=" at "initrd=\boot\initramfs-linux.img'" on the last line, since the Arch Wiki (rEFInd 3.1.2 For manual boot stanzas) says to not use backslashes when adding initrd commands but I think this ok since it is from before I began manually entering the multiple initrd= without the initial backslash in the /boot/efi/EFI/refind/refind.conf file.

However, I tried editing it in the terminal pressing tab twice on the keyboard with no avail.

I made sure to incorporate the archzfs-linux-git, zfs-linux-git, zfs-linux-git-headers, zfs-utils-git packages into the Live Arch ISO when building the base system. Furthermore, I made sure that the Linux kernel and ZFS packages are compatible and supported with each other. I was trying this with 6.3.1 and 6.3.2 (I made sure no package was not newer than as of Sunday, 21 May 2029). I understand they released updated ZFS packages for 6.3.4 today (Monday, 29 May 2023), but I have not had the chance to give a try yet.

I am installing the system on a single Samsung 950 PRO NVMe SSD M.2 512 GB to get my feet wet with ZFS and comfortable enough before scaling up. I have two partitions, a 32-bit FAT 1G EF00 EFI System Partition mounted on /boot/efi, and the second BF00 partition utilizing the remaining 475.9G disk space for my ZFS Pool, zroot. I am utilizing ZFS Native Encryption on the second partition with the key saved in the the initramfs.

I am having difficulty setting up the correct and appropriate rEFInd configuration files: refind.conf which is located at /boot/efi/EFI/refind/refind.conf, and refind_linux.conf which is located at /boot/refind_linux.conf.

Here are my current configurations files for each respective rEFInd configuration file, respectively:

"Boot with standard options" \ "zfs=zroot/sys/arch-0/root/arch-RWSmith \ cryptdevice=/dev/disk/by-partlabel/Root-0-NVMe:zroot \ rw \ add_efi_memmap \ initrd=boot\intel-ucode.img \ initrd=boot\initramfs-%v.img \ initrd=etc\zfs\zroot.key loglevel=4"

scanfor manual,nvme,zfs_keys scanfor_manual +zfs/*/*.efi scan_driver_dirs EFI/tools menuentry "Arch Linux" { icon /EFI/refind/icons/os_arch.png volume zroot loader /boot/vmlinuz-linux initrd /boot/initramfs-%v.img options "zfs=zroot/sys/arch-0/root/arch-RWSmith \ cryptdevice=/dev/disk/by-partlabel/Root-0-NVMe:zroot \ rw \ add_efi_memmap \ initrd=boot\intel-ucode.img \ initrd=boot\initramfs-%v.img \ initrd=etc\zfs\zroot.key" }

I also tried using the suggestions I found online here that suggested the following:

Works for me:
 $ cat /boot/refind_linux.conf "Boot with standard options" "dozfs=force root=ZFS=SSD/ROOT/Debian rw quiet splash vt.handoff=7" "Boot to single-user mode" "dozfs=force root=ZFS=SSD/ROOT/Debian rw quiet splash vt.handoff=7 single" "Boot with minimal options" "dozfs=force root=ZFS=SSD/ROOT/Debian rw"
or in refind.conf manual stanza
 menuentry "Akua Debian" { icon EFI/refind/icons/os_elementary.png volume ZFSROOT loader ROOT/Debian/@/vmlinuz initrd ROOT/Debian/@/initrd.img options "dozfs=force root=ZFS=SSD/ROOT/Debian rw quiet splash vt.handoff=7" }

I had to fiddle with the paths - since the actual root is ROOT/Debian ... but it wouldn't work if I didn't add the /@/ path component. Those paths are symlinks into boot/ (latest version of kernel and initrd).

 zfs list ... SSD/ROOT 30.7G 61.7G 23K none SSD/ROOT/Debian 11.5G 61.7G 11.5G legacy SSD/ROOT/FreeBSD 949M 61.7G 949M /mnt/FreeBSD SSD/ROOT/Void 18.2G 61.7G 18.2G legacy ... # ls -l /boot/efi/EFI/refind/drivers_x64/ total 239 -rwx------ 1 root root 83222 Sep 16 18:13 btrfs_x64.efi -rwx------ 1 root root 69384 Sep 17 09:41 ext4_x64.efi -rwx------ 1 root root 90336 Apr 25 2018 zfs_x64.efi

Zpool's name is SSD ... ZFSROOT is the partition name set with gdisk (gptfdisk).
Hope this helps.

I incorporated the suggestion into my /boot/efi/EFI/refind/refind.conf file with the appropriate changes:

menuentry "Arch Linux" { icon /EFI/refind/icons/os_arch.png volume zroot loader sys/arch-0/root/arch-RWSmith/@/vmlinuz-linux initrd sys/arch-0/root/arch-RWSmith/@/initramfs-%v.img options "zfs=zroot/sys/arch-0/root/arch-RWSmith \ cryptdevice=/dev/disk/by-partlabel/Root-0-NVMe:zroot \ rw \ add_efi_memmap \ initrd=boot\intel-ucode.img \ initrd=boot\initramfs-%v.img \ initrd=etc\zfs\zroot.key" }

but it didn't help :( I tried other small tweaks in that configuration file but they also did not work. For example, instead of volume zroot, I tried entering volume Root-0-NVMe.

I was originally trying to use rEFInd as my exclusive bootloader and utilizing the ZFS drivers/binaries from here. The file I driver I downloaded is zfs_x64.efi. I saved the zfs_x64.efi driver in multiple locations before and after installing rEFInd via running the refind-install script, even though one location should have sufficed. I saved a copy of zfs_x64.efi in /usshare/refind/drivers_x64, /boot/efi/EFI/refind, /boot/efi/EFI/refind/drivers, /boot/efi/EFI/, /boot/efi/EFI/refind/tools, /boot/efi/EFI/refind/tools/drivers, /boot, and /boot/drivers. I may have saved copies in other locations, just in case, but it also did not help.

I would like to highlight that /boot is located within the ZFS natively encrypted zrootpool.

I am pretty sure that that I am doing something incorrectly with the configuration files for the rEFInd bootloader, but everything else should be correct. However, as I write this, I barely realized did I not use the following commands recommended from the "Usage" section from the aforementioned website where I downloaded the zfs_x64.efi driver file for rEFInd:

zfs_x64.efi map -r

So this may be the problem, but I doubt it. I will try to enter the command next time I have access to my computer. The extra datasets involving /usr, /tmp, /srv, /opt, and /var may also be contributing my issues.

That said, after weeks of frustrating research and attempts of diagnosing the problem, I thought I would give ZFSBootMenu a try to see if it would fix all my issues, but it did not help either. As recommended by the Arch Wiki (Generate a ZFSBootMenu image), I set up my /etc/zfsbootmenu/config.yaml as thus:

Global: ManageImages: true BootMountPoint: /boot/efi DracutConfDir: /etc/zfsbootmenu/dracut.conf.d PreHooksDir: /etc/zfsbootmenu/generate-zbm.pre.d PostHooksDir: /etc/zfsbootmenu/generate-zbm.post.d InitCPIO: true InitCPIOConfig: /etc/zfsbootmenu/mkinitcpio.conf Components: ImageDir: /boot/efi/EFI/zbm Versions: 3 Enabled: false syslinux: Config: /boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg Enabled: false EFI: ImageDir: /boot/efi/EFI/zbm Versions: false Enabled: true Kernel: CommandLine: ro quiet loglevel=0

I also try to incorporate some of the recommendations from the ZFSBootMenu wiki and also a different page on the wiki from the guide, but it was difficult to follow since Arch Linux utilizes mkinitcpio and not dracut.

Here is how I have my pacman.conf file:
nano /etc/pacman.conf:

Color VerbosePkgList ParallelDownloads = 10 ILoveCandy [core] SigLevel = PackageRequired Server = https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/2023/05/21/$repo/os/$arch [extra] SigLevel = PackageRequired Server = https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/2023/05/21/$repo/os/$arch [community] SigLevel = PackageRequired Server = https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/2023/05/21/$repo/os/$arch [multilib] [core] SigLevel = PackageRequired Server = https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/2023/05/21/$repo/os/$arch [archzfs] SigLevel = Optional TrustAll Server = https://archzfs.com/$repo/$arch

My mkinitcpio.conf file:

MODULES=(usbhid \ xhci_hcd \ nvidia \ nvidia_modeset \ nvidia_uvm \ nvidia_drm) FILES=(/etc/zfs/zroot.key) HOOKS=(base \ udev \ autodetect \ modconf \ block \ keyboard \ keymap \ encrypt \ zfs \ usr \ filesystems \ fsck shutdown)

In my /etc/fstab file, I commented out all my ZFS datasets, and simply left the line for my ESP uncommented, as follows:

/dev/disk/by-partlabel/EFI-0-NVMe \ /boot/efi vfat \ rw,\ relatime,\ fmask=0022,\ codepage=437,\ iocharset=ascii,\ shortname=mixed,\ utf8,\ errors=remount-ro \ 0 2

Before, instead of /dev/disk/by-partlabel/EFI-0-NVMe, I had UUID=####-####.

Here is my zpool:

I am not sure if the mountpoints I used for some are the ZFS datasets are appropriate and or are contributing to my issues of my bootloader not being able to detect my natively encrypted ZFS pool which holds my initramfs and vmlinuz-linux. Any suggestions would be welcomed. What is supposed to happen is that rEFInd should be automatically booting my natively ZFS encrypted Arch Linux system (if I don't select it first), prompt me to enter my password once before going forward with unlocking all my ZFS encrypted pool and datasets automatically and going forward with the typical boot process as if it were not encrypted.

I would like to highlight my original intention was to use rEFInd as my exclusive bootloader and not use ZFSBootMenu whatsoever. However, if I must use ZFSBootMenu in conjunction with rEFInd, then I will. I intend to to have this Samsung NVMe SSD M.2 512 GB 950 PRO dedicated to my Arch Linux (and other Linux systems) and utilize my second Samsung NVMe M.2 2 TB 980 PRO for Windows but boot it from rEFInd which is installed on my 950 PRO.

Any tips or suggestions would be well appreciated. I probably did something very dumb or some silly mistake.

Here are all the commands I used during my install of Arch Linux with ZFS Native Encryption on a single Samsung 950 PRO 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD; I did my best to do things in a particular order such that there would be little to no conflicts:

2023.05.30 07:40 someonefindalice Looking for Clan (NA, MST, eng)

Greetings, fellow immortals!
So I’m looking for an active clan to join. I’m level 80 & progressing quickly. I’m in a family with my roommate (she’s level 50), but I could join a clan by myself and/or another family (she hasn’t been playing as much the past few months..hence our recently growing gap in levels).
Ideally, I’d like to join a clan that is active on clan & seasonal tasks, farming, and building, and that would be willing to help me learn & get better better at pvp and raiding (neither of which I feel very confident in doing atm, especially since I’ve only ever played solo up til now).
I’m a college student (f, 21), currently located in MST time zone (NA server), but am likely moving back to EST time zone later this summer. I’m active on the Trade City discord (gisla_ironside#5085), as well.
Hit me up!

2023.05.30 07:32 Outside_Carpenter562 The TBATE fell off

I won’t lie to you at this point. I just read it to see the end but this story has fallen off. Turtleme is milking the story so much that it doesn’t even make sense.
He has multiple chapters detailing something that could happen in one entire chapter.
He doesn’t know how to push a love interest at all seeing with Tess as she barely gets any character development, and anytime he does give her any kind of development it’s always near the end of the chapter or if he does give her some it’s always packed in.
And I don’t know if this is true, but a lot of people have been telling me that he made fun of the ending for solo leveling how why would he reset time to save his family?
I honestly believe that if he did say that he cannot compare his work to solo leveling because I’m not gonna lie to you. I enjoyed SL way more than TBATE.
And this is coming guy that’s read lots, orv, etc I have read many novels, and buy for this novel fell off, really really fast compared to any other novel I’ve ever read.

2023.05.30 07:32 Automatic_Tiger_6429 Need a squad on Div 2

Anyone want to join my squad in Division 2? I’m currently level 12, but I have beaten the game before so I do know a thing or two about it. I like to take my time and do the side thing such as events and projects. If that interests you come and join the squad, at the moment I have no one and I rather not play solo as I’ve already done that with my last characters. Oh and I play on PlayStation.
