2023.06.04 09:02 Mattrapbeats Doubling customer's lifetime value
I'm back with another post. Despite the cyber attacks I've been getting from butthurt marketing agency owners, I'm still giving out free knowledge. In fact, I'm a bit fired up today. So I’m going to sit here in front of my computer for the next 2 hours and come up with something good.
Last week, I showed you how you can make your first 10 sales without spending anything on marketing. 2 weeks ago I showed you exactly what I did to bring in an extra 2.5 million in sales (without paid ads) for a brand that already had good traction. This post is for everyone in the middle. It’s for the guys that aren't quite at that 7 figure stage yet but aren't rookies either.
It’s so easy to live and die in the 20k-75k range for a handful of reasons. Your bills are paid, your margins are cool and you have a system that works. Of course, you want to scale, but that fire you had when you started just isn't as hot as it used to be.
Think of customers as heat, and your business is fire. This post is made to be the gasoline. You can pour a little bit of gasoline on your fire and your flame will jump. Instant but temporary heat. But consistently doing the 3 things that I’m going to mention below is like dumping an endless supply of gasoline in your fire pit. Eventually, you'll end up with a fire so big that it will probably spread and grows on its own. You can build a heat source that never dies.
Here are 3 things you can do to double the lifetime value of your customers:
- Order Personalization - I’ll start here because most people underestimate how important it is to make people feel like you care about them. A personal touch goes a long way. It's important to connect with customers on a personal level. I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again. You sell as a person, not as a business. I'll give you an example of exactly how to do this.
So I have a client that sells niche-specific hats. He went from his customer service email inbox being filled with order-specific questions to an inbox full of people telling him how much they love his brand. He didn't change his products, he didn't fix his slow shipping times but he did start writing handwritten messages and putting them in the boxes of as many orders as he can. This alone can literally double your customer's lifetime value if you do it right. The message needs to be personal. You know where they live, you know what they bought, and you know their names. That’s more than enough information.
Here’s an example of what you can write (product in example: golf hats):
“Thank you sooooo much for another order Mike, I’m so grateful for your support. Good luck at your next Golf Game!”
21 words, 30 seconds of writing, You just guaranteed that this guy will either purchase again or refer a friend to your brand.
P.S. People love messy handwriting. It just feels more real. You’d be surprised by how many people will message you saying they’ve never received a handwritten note with something they bought online in their life.
There are a lot of ways to personalize orders. But I hope that example gave you the jist of what I’m trying to say. You personalize the order in a way that makes the customer feel special. They should know that their order is different from everyone else order.
- Rewards programs/Ambassador programs- This is very simple. Humans are dopamine addicts, we don't do anything unless it makes us feel good. Fuel your customer's dopamine addictions by rewarding them for giving you their money.
“Congrats! You just spend $400 on my store, here are 40 reward points equivalent to 40 cents that you can use toward your next order!” This sounds insanely stupid when you put it this way. But people will use the fact that they have some type of personal credit or discount as an excuse to buy from you again. Just seeing points being loaded onto their account is an instant dopamine hit. It's like leveling up in a video game. The achievement is pretty much worthless, but it cost you something so it has value to you.
- Post-purchase follow-ups - Your repeat customers help you pick up momentum without you spending more money on new traffic. On smaller stores, you can have 1-2 customer thank you flows. On some of the bigger stores I work with, we’ve built 6 of these flows. Yes, 6 automated post-purchase email flows. Every time someone buys, the language you use when you communicate with them slightly changes. People who purchase once should know how much you appreciate them. If they purchase 2 times, they should know that they are so close to becoming a VIP and that it's in their best interest to buy again. People who purchase 3x are VIP customers and they should know and be rewarded. People who purchase 4x+ should get even more perks and maybe even a gift. Make sure to implement a survey in the later flows to find out why your repeat customers keep coming back. 9/10 times they will have a personal reason like “You guys actually reply to my customer service emails” or “You guys keep giving me gifts with all my orders” or “I’ve seen the founder come a long way, I love the products and I want to support the company.”
Think of the first sale as your customer entering a new sales funnel. Now you get to persuade them into making more purchases by making them feel appreciated and special. Why would anyone buy from your competition when they are already VIP customers with you? Just the idea of not knowing what the reward will be after they make another purchase is enough for someone to make a purchase with you again. Make the reward for making a purchase unpredictable. They should have no idea if they're going to get a freebie, a discount, or a virtual high-five when they place an order. But, no matter what, they should know that they are appreciated.
I’ll end this by talking about one of my favorite shows; Shark Tank. I always remember how excited Kevin O’leary became when a business owner came in and told him that their average customer converts twice in a 90-day period after the initial acquisition. He essentially told the entrepreneur that if he could sustain this trend he’d never go broke. This has pretty much lived in the back of my head ever since I watched it. I have no clue what episode it is, or what business it was but it's ingrained in my mind. It’s an undoubtable sign of a really good business.
If you have other ideas about how to increase customers lifetime value I encourage you to share them. These are just 3 examples that I’ve seen work in real life but the possibilities are endless when you connect with your customers on a emotional level.

2023.06.04 09:02 beaninspirer Real Love vs. Romantic Love: 10 Love Quotes and Thoughts
“In real love you want the other person’s good. In romantic love you want the other person.” — Margaret Anderson
Real love vs. romantic love has always been a talk of the town. In fact, if there’s any term that has been misinterpreted the most throughout centuries, it’s got to be “love”.
Different poets and philosophers have described love differently — in the form of love quotes or love thoughts, but love manages to transcend all barriers. Not a single line written till now to pen down the true essence of love has been able to do justice with it.
What’s it about love that makes it so powerful, mind-blowing, and mystifying at the same time?
In the same pursuit of trying to understand the nitty-gritty of love, we have compiled this list of ‘10 Love Quotes’ plus ‘love thoughts’ that we hope will help alleviate your curiosity surrounding love.
“Forgiveness is the final form of love.” — Reinhold Niebuhr
1. To Be Loved is Good, To Love Someone is Courageous “Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” — Lao Tzu
If someone is/has been in love with you, you already know about it. Likewise, if you are/have been in love with someone, you already know what’s been said above.
Naturally, being loved makes you feel mentally and emotionally invincible. But it takes a lot of courage to love someone because there’s always a fear of rejection or a breakup.
2. Human Minds aren’t Strong Enough to Replicate True Love “This fire that we call Loving is too strong for human minds. But just right for human souls.” — Aberjhani
Everyone claims to be in love, but only a chosen few get to witness its true power. The strength of love is too much for a mere mortal to reckon with.
So, whatever little or more is in your fate, try your best to be worthy of it. A person engulfed by true love is never the same again, so be careful when giving your heart to another soul.
3. A Desire and Pursuit of it is Love – A Blend of Real Love and Romantic Love “Love is simply the name for the desire and pursuit of the whole.” — Plato
A desire for something and your pursuit to gain it is love. So, be careful with what you desire! Unsatisfied desires are demons that never leave your head.
Let your mind and heart desire only for things that your body can fetch for you.
4. You can’t Un-love, Just Keep on Loving Limitlessly “There is no remedy for love but to love more.” — Henry David Thoreau
If you have been hurt by someone you love, your decision to not love anymore is not the solution. The solution is to get back at it, love again, love better!
Not everyone is worthy of your love, the person worthy of it will ultimately come into your life, make sure to keep the door wide open.
5. Be Kind to Yourself “Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love.” — Brené Brown
Having loving self-talk does not preclude you from accepting responsibility and maintaining accountability. It’s about remaining loving to yourself in both good and bad times.
Compassionate self-talk can be viewed as a form of self-love. It alters your relationship with yourself. It can become a means of looking after yourself.
6. Love is an Art; You Get to Meet Yourself When In Love Continue reading… submitted by

2023.06.04 08:54 inactivebloke913 [Fully Lost] 2015 "Best Of" Top Gear Compilations from the BBC
(Disclaimer: helps to know about the show beforehand) A couple months after the trio of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond left Top Gear in 2015, the BBC aired hour-long "Best Of" compilations showing the funniest moments from each of the presenters. I didn't watch them live, rather on Xfinity On Demand. Years later, I haven't been able to find these specific compilations online. Here's some details of what I remember from them: -They had a narrator who presented the clips before they were shown and also started off each episode with a short introduction of their characters. -They featured unique title screens; I made a very scuffed mockup of Jeremy's
here. -The only piece of dialogue I remember from the narrator was him saying that the Top Gear Dog lasted only one season on the show because Richard did everything the dog did better. Ouch. The IMDb pages for these episodes still exist. Here's
Jeremy's James's Richard's and
the one featuring all of them. Little new is shown by these pages, apart from the narrator being Josh Cohen. Images of the title screens are still absent. I also seem to remember there being an episode of the Stig, but I wasn't able to find its IMDb page apart from an unrelated film. It's likely that it's a false memory, although its title screen is still in the back of my mind. I wasn't able to find the title screens on Google Images, and YouTube turned up nothing either, especially as there's hundreds of Top Gear compilations with the same name. Last and least, Jeremy's title screen had a very nice guitar theme in the background and I've been meaning to find the full song for a bit. I tried recreating the beat on an online piano
here. Once again, this is very scuffed. If anyone knows what it is, please let me know, lol Overall, this isn't even remotely close to being as interesting as, say, a Dragon Ball Z JBVO episode considering that it isn't much different from a ton of YT videos. Still, would be nice to see again.

2023.06.04 08:46 PiggyMcoof Article 22: Mimic
Kona gave everyone a tour of his base. When he was done, it had become night. "It's nighttime, I recommend everyone gets a bit of sleep. We don't want to work on this project tired." Kona said. When everyone was asleep, a figure explored the lab and temple below. This figure is blended to look like Ron but yet isn't Ron. Kona saw this on his camera and grabbed his blowtorch. Kona went into the room Ron was sleeping in and used his blowtorch on Ron's hand. "OWW!!! What was that for?" Ron says as his hand was burnt. Kona responds "You went downstairs without permission. Of all it had to have been you." Kona remarked. "You fried my hand. Isn't that a bit much?" Ron asks. "Well, I guess I have been known for getting carried away in situations like this, but still you shouldn't have been down there." Kona replied. Ron was shown the footage and just ran outside where the swarm of infected grew. In the night Ron had abandoned everyone at Kona's house and started going on his own. The frigid temperatures were nothing for his suit and helped soothed his burn to the point where it just needed to physically heal. Some time later Annie and Duocara went down to the downstairs temple to clear the way for everyone. The first thing they encountered was the thousands year old pharaoh. His claws were long and sharp... He went straight for Annie. Annie tried her best to dodge the pharoah's blows. Duocara's face switched to it's blue sad state "Nobody touches friend..." Duocara said in his robotic voice. Ron was walking through a snowy forest when he found a couple of old Festive (or not so festive because this timeframe isn't anywhere near the holiday season) Cabins. Ron knocked on the door and an older wolf opened the door to greet him. "Wanda Wolf..." Ron said in awe and shock. "Yes it is me. It's been so long since the last we've met hasn't it?" She said admiring how long it's been. "You know when you officers locked me up in the slammer." Before Ron could respond to that, she said "Through my time in there, I've learned a few things. But the struggle of money was a big hassle. Regardless, I hope my children are doing well." Ron paused and asked "Willow and William?" "Correct, do you know what happened to them?" She asked. "I do but unfortunately nothing good." Ron told her. "William died and Willow as far as I know sacrificed herself to an infected." Ron says while taking his hat off and holding in in both hands in front of him, like what he did in front of Willow. "Well, before I loose myself, I want to show you to my friend." Wanda told him. Wanda and Ron walked into a room where there was an elderly tiger staring at a drawing. "What are you look at?" Ron asked the old tiger focuses his eyes on Ron. "It's a drawing my son made of himself, after I haven't heard much of him after he left." he answered. "What made him leave you? And what's your name?" Ron asks "My name's Tank and my son left us because of the things my wife did to him, I remember sneaking him out of the house when she was asleep because I didn't want to see him live life suffering like I did, we got him enlisted to the military and that's the last I've seen of him." He said you could tell he's being fully honest. At that moment Annie found what looked like Ron. With his head down and his back faced towards Annie then Annie says "Ron, there you are, why did you run off? It's okay to tell me anything and you know that." She said in her nice gentle voice. But the reaction she got wasn't so nice and gentle... At that time Kona came down to the temple to see what was going on. That's when he tapped a golem statue made it come to life. "Gryffyn, catch." The Ron-like being said and soon enough Annie and Kona had been picked up by the Gryffyn. Duocara saw this but the Ron-like entity pulled several gears out of Duocara's chest resulting in Duocara breaking. Eventually Annie and Kona were tied together and brought to a dangerous place... The military base of Outpost Echo. Hanging in the cave over a high edge Annie and Kona had be taken. Back at the cabins with Tank, Wanda, and Ron a full on military aircraft landed in the front. Where Commander Fergus hopped out and took Wanda and Ron to see Sgt. Monroe. "Well, what's this? Cop and criminal. We've been flying around for a while. Didn't think we'd see other survivors. Now, we got a distress call from Dr. Payton. The mission would be to get to him and get rid of all the infected." Sgt. Monroe says in his gruff and deep voice. It was then where Ron said "I think I'm feeling a bit queasy." before falling to the ground and blacked out. Purple spirals surrounded the scene. Ron saw Markus and then Dessa then Zizzy, Glenn, Willow, and Marley Russell surround him. "No, you lot are not real." Ron says denying what he sees. Out of all of them Dessa walks up to Ron and put her hand on his arm. "Come with us Ron." She says in a soothing voice that sounds a little chaotic Ron then blinks and all of his dead friends disappeared and TIO takes his position in front of Ron. "Ron..." TIO says. "I've been fascinated with you for a while. You humans are rather... Unique. You see, you nor Annie can't get infected." TIO continues. "And you're calling me unique... Take a look in a mirror." Ron responds. "I love making deals, deals nobody can forget. Look what has happened to Markus, Dessa, Zizzy, Glenn, Willow and Marley Russell." TIO says before talking a bit of a breath and then continues."Join me and we'll get the upper hand on the infection." He continued. "What makes you think I'd join someone like you?" Ron asked. "Why you..." Ron says in frustration as he woke up. He woke up in the military vehicle. "You fell sleep, no worries. You didn't miss much." Said Commander Fergus. Wanda and the Sargent talk about day-to-day lives. Ron walked up to the commander. "So, did you loose anyone near and dear to your heart, Commander Fergus? "Oy, I remember when the troops die to infection. So sad." It was the Ron noticed Commander Fergus' thick and Russian accent, "How about people like family? Maybe a friend you made?" Ron asked Commander Fergus and the commander answered "Oy, it's been so long since I've seen them. They're probably the infected now." Commander Fergus says, his expression being a bit sadder than before. Meanwhile Tigry and Delta led Doggy, Pony, Bunny, Laura, Katie, Mr. P, Sheepy, Torcher, Mimi, Giraffy, Shardantus, Silzous, UNIT-10, Robby, Georgie, and the twins to Outpost Echo. Tigry and Delta along with the other aforementioned personel arrive to Outpost Echo first, only to be greeted a cold welcome... The coldest welcome by Mr. Bliss. The living snowman caught Mimi by surprise but before he could attack, Mitch stopped him, it was living scarecrow vs. living snowman. Mr. Bliss was using his icesicle hand to Mitch's axe, Mr. Bliss then hopped on a building and then Glenn was summoned as shards of ice and crystal blocked the entrance. Mr. Bliss now holding Mitch by the neck while Glenn and the infected soldiers terrorize everyone. That's when Anteo (Another one of Dr. Payton's projects) enters the scene and holds Mr. Bliss by his ant hands, releasing Mitch that's when Mimi recognizes Mitch and gives him a hug. Glenn has cornered Bunny and Giraffy but then Glenn sinks to the ground. That's when the military vehicle arrives at the base opening to reveal Sargent Monroe, Commander Fergus, Ron, Wanda, and some living soldiers. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Sargent Monroe asks himself, "The king of Dolovia, some scientists, civilians and a bunch of deserters and a criminal." The sargent says while looking at everyone. "A serial killer and don't get me started on you..." Sgt. Monroe says while looking at Silzous and then Laura. Doggy was less focused on the military but wondering what Ron was doing with the military. "Ron! There you are. Where have you been? I missed you." Doggy asks. Ron explains it "So, I saw an odd version of myself on Kona's camera and went to blow off a bit of steam when I find a cabin where Wanda here was waiting for the infection to roll over." Meanwhile Shardantus asks the Military to give him and his friends access to the base's lab. Fergus pulls out a white key from his pocket and hands it to Shardantus. "Good luck with that cure. We'll handle things from up here for you. Tigry, Torcher, Delta, do you three mind? Rockets, petrol, and ammunition are plentiful in here." Said Sgt. Monroe. Sargent Monroe looked at Mimi and said "Mimi, it's been so long. Good luck in there." Mimi then responded "Thanks dad, and may the best of luck on blowing brains out of infected." She says while hugging him. In the cave they find Annie and Kona tied up dangling over a ledge. "Hey guys..." Annie says in bit of a struggling but also relieved to see everyone, Kona on the other hand is sleeping heavily. That's when everyone witnesses the other version of Ron appear even though the real Ron is standing between Doggy and Mimi. Ron then charges at the other version of himself and then Ron and his mimic got into a fight, punching, kicking one another. Kona woke up to the sound of Ron and the imposter Ron. The imposter Ron falls over and then a spirit or some sort of entity comes out of it. She flew herself over towards Annie and Kona. She hops into Annie and the imposter Ron disintegrates into nothingness while an imposter Annie falls to the ground on the opposite side of everyone else.
End of Article 22.
"Master would be proud of me. I'm making his distraction."
"No one can hear me down here and Anteo is gone. It doesn't matter, I have you to at least keep me company. Though you may be an infected... A darker, creepier infected... You have kept me company for this long."

2023.06.04 08:44 Main_Star3808 Why Congress is Anti-Hindu and Why We need pro-Hindu leadership with pro-Hindu ideology at every level of government.
Brothers and sisters,
I grew up in the Indian diaspora as an NRI who didn't know too much about Indian politics or India's internal issues to begin with. I was never religious, I always thought of myself as a cultural Hindu. I thought that Hindus were mostly safe in India being a Hindu majority country with Hindu cultural values.
I thought that the Congress Party was a "normal" party. But when I read about the
2011 draft of the Communal Violence Bill and learned about the
2009 Right to Education Act's inapplicability to Christian minority schools (Pramati judgement), I quickly came to the conclusion that the Congress Party and Sonia/Rahul Gandhi are part of a Vatican/Catholic Church/Christian/Western conspiracy against Hindus and Hinduism. When Sonia Gandhi married Rajiv Gandhi, the Catholic Church saw this moment as its "Constantine" moment in India, when it could try to achieve its nefarious goals by controlling the Indian National Congress. Ever wonder why INC is aligned with Christian missionaries? Who did Rahul Gandhi meet first in Bharat Jodo Yatra? A hate mongering Catholic priest named George Ponniah who spewed vile hatred against the Hindus of Tamil Nadu.
See the following article:
https://swarajyamag.com/politics/is-congress-anti-hindu In particular, I have a deep hatred of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi who are Catholic Christians. They are evil, completely anti-Hindu, and the brainchild of laws like
Right to Education Act and the 2011 draft of the Communal Violence Bill. It is painfully obvious that they are Vatican agents who have a deep hatred of Hindus and of Indians. That is why I pray for Sonia and Rahul's downfall each and every day.
Communal Violence Bill - Do all Hindus know that the Congress Party tried to pass a Communal Violence Bill in 2011 that assumed that all Hindus were guilty as default, just by being born as Hindus, while Christians & Muslims could freely attack Hindus without any consequences? Did you know that this plan involved creating a so-called "National Communal Commission" with a "minority" (read Muslim/Christian) majority that could somehow control the Indian armed forces and the police forces to bully and terrorize Hindus? Luckily the BJP under Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley, along with Narendra Modi, blocked Congress from passing this anti-Hindu law. BJP and RSS successfully killed this law and then won 2014 in a landslide. Luckily since 2013, the genocidal anti-Hindu Congress Party has been destroyed in the Rajya Sabha and so can never do something like this Communal Violence Bill (CVB) again. Also, India has massive internet penetration now in 2023 compared to back then in 2013 when Congress tried to pass CVB, so if the Italian scum who rule the Congress Party try to pass CVB again they will be exposed and there will be bloody retaliation against them. Variants of the Communal Violence Bill appear in different Congress manifestos under cleverly disguised names and descriptions, but the anti-Hindu intent of the Italian scum is the same. Harsh Mander, who wrote this evil anti-Hindu law with genocidal intent, is still running free instead of being hunted down and punished.
Right to Education Act - We all know how this law discriminates against Hindus running schools while leaving Christian "minority" institutions completely exempt from its horrible requirements like 25% quota, teacher salaries (that are extremely high for no reason), infra requirements like playgrounds etc. Hindus need linguistic minority status or Jain minority status just to escape RTE on their school. This law is so evil and no other country in the world has laws that discriminate against their majority community in education. How dare a Catholic padre who is a filthy pedophile has more rights than a Hindu to run a school without government interference? This was the brainchild of Vatican agent and Catholic terrorist Sonia. People like @ realitycheckind on Twitter have been screaming about RTE since 2014.
Nowadays, wealthy Hindus get around RTE by running linguistic minority or Jain minority schools. In Maharashtra, for instance, the vast majority of Hindu schools owned by politicians or big businessmen switched to linguistic minority status (Hindi/Gujarati/Kannada/Sindhi/Marwadi/Punjabi/Malayalam) or to Jain/Buddhist minority status. For instance, you'll notice that Ambani school in Mumbai is a Gujarati linguistic minority institution, or that Lodha school school in Mumbai is Jain minority, or that Birla school is Marwadi linguistic minority, or that Walsingham school owned by the Mittal family is Hindi linguistic minority. If the top 1% can kill RTE in their schools, why should a mom-pop Hindu family running a school be forced to take in RTE quota freeloaders?
Given how hard it is to politically undo reservation-type laws, the solution to kill the Right to Education Act across the whole of India is to make all Hindu schools across India into Jain minority institutions on paper, throwing out the 25% RTE quota freeloaders who should be kicked out of non-minority private schools. Simply put, nobody has the right to "free" private school education, just because you are part of a particular caste (SC/ST) or community. RTE is also a tool to infiltrate Muslim kids into Hindu owned private schools to achieve the so-called "secularism" that leftists want. If you run a Jain minority institute for instance, you can avoid such "secularism" and "diversity" in your student body and can screen out certain types of students.
This law was so evil and was the reason why so many communities like the Lingayats etc want minority status. Because no other country in the world has laws that make it easier for "minorities" to run schools compared to the majority community. The Jains wanted minority status and got it from the Congress Party in 2014, solely to protect their private schools and colleges from the evil reservation laws that we have and the 93rd constitutional amendment. Nowadays, all wealthy Hindus/corporate India are running Jain minority schools and colleges in the private sector free from any type of caste based reservation. In the future, you will see a movement run by Upper Caste Hindus against reservation in private educational institutions. Pratap Bhanu Mehta (who is really a Jain) knew of the 93rd amendment back in 2005 and successfully got the Jain minority status from the Congress Party. I've seen really top-notch private schools that have linguistic/Jain minority status and are safe from RTE.
Despite this law there, RSS appointees like Priyank Kanoongoo (head of NCPCR - national child rights commission) continue to try to "enforce" RTE on hapless Hindu owned non-minority schools. I have no idea why RSS doesn't have a problem with RTE. If Mr. Modi himself wanted to end RTE, I could guarantee you that this whole "program" would have been shut down on Day 1.
Why should a Hindu school owner be forced to admit 25% "free" education, while a similar school run by a Christian does not have to do so? Is this secularism? If it isn't secular, why aren't Hindus coming on the roads, demanding RTE to be imposed on the schools that those Catholic rapists run?
The True Religion of All Top Congress Leaders (news-flash, Congress is Hindu hating group of individuals plotting against Hindu civilization). While Owaisi is a radical Islamist, people like Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are the biggest threat to Hindus on our planet today. Rahul Gandhi - Catholic Christian
Catholic Christian like his mother. Pretends to be a Hindu but hates Hindu culture and Hindu traditions. Is more of an Italian Catholic Christian who is more comfortable talking to Catholic padres in a Church. Is most at home in Kerala with a large Catholic population. Uses Muslims as a vote bank but is really aligned with radical Christian forces that are enemies of Hindu civilization. Ran away from a Hindu majority parliamentary constituency to go to a "secular" Wayanad where Abrahamics (Muslims + Christians) are over 60% of the population, knowing that Hindus would punish him electorally.
Sonia Gandhi - Italian Catholic Christian, whose real name is ANTONIO MAINO. How on Earth did the largest opposition party (Indian National Congress) get taken by an Italian Christian woman and a Vatican stooge?
Malikharjun Kharge - Buddhist Ambedkarite Dalit. Also has a hatred for Hindu Dharma, even when Hinduism and Buddhism are both Indian/Indic faiths in our civilization that are mutually compatible with each other. Hindus don't have any problem with Buddhism or Buddhists and even see Buddhism as an "improved" or "enlightened" version of Hinduism, yet the radical Ambedkarite ideology tries to instigate Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes from other Hindu castes when all Hindus across our country are equal and together. Hindus don't have a problem with anybody embracing Buddhism.
Manmohan Singh - Sikh who was the first non-Hindu Prime Minister of India. Under Mr. Manmohan Singh's tenure, the Congress Party tried to pass the Communal Violence Bill (2011 draft) which distinguished between "minorities" and Hindus in criminal law but was luckily blocked by the BJP who killed it. Now Sonia Gandhi could have chosen a Hindu in her Congress Party as the Prime Minister when Congress won in 2004 and 2009. But she deliberately chose a non-Hindu to implement her radical Hindu-hating agenda. A titular figurehead whose daughter was found working for George Soros and who has a Hindu hating agenda as well.
Others - Ambika Soni who is a Christian, Kapil Sibal who also seems to be a Christian and so forth.
It is painfully clear that Congress Party has an agenda against Hindus and Hinduism and that their national leaders are anti-Hindu. So, why does Congress still win in some state elections? Himachal Pradesh - was very close in 2022. Also, the Congress Party in Himachal Pradesh seems to be led by people who are Hindus. Never saw Hinduphobia YET in Himachal by Himachal Congress.
Chhattisgarh - Suspect that there is a massive conversion of tribals to Christianity, particularly in forests. Would be very dangerous if Baghel wins a 2nd term.
Karnataka - BJP government in Karnataka was corrupt and had poor leaders, with massive anti-incumbency with a 36% vs 43% vote differential. Also, the Kharge factor was there and many Hindu Dalits who would have voted for BJP voted for Cong just because of Kharge's Ambedkarite credentials. If the Congress unit in Karnataka supports Christian missionaries or Muslim terrorist organizations like PFI, it's up to the BJP government at the center to act.
Rajasthan - anti-incumbency in 2018. BJP should win Rajasthan very easily in 2023.

Congress, being a minoritarian party full of radical Muslim + Christian terrorists, should be reduced below 10% of seats in the Rajya Sabha (currently it's at 31/245 or 12.6%).
It is no surprise that Rahul Gandhi called for American/Western intervention in India's democracy to subvert the will of the Hindu majority (see the interview where this treacherous Rahul Gandhi asks American Nicholas Burns to "intervene" in India's internal affairs).
Hatred towards Hindus is Hatred towards India as a whole.
TLDR: Rahul Gandhi should come clean and disclose his real religion (Catholic Christianity). Why should Hindus let somebody who is completely hateful towards us continue to malign us in international forums, insult our people, our country, our government, and our civilizational nation? Go to the Vatican.
What is Congress's Idea of India and What Does it Really Mean? [Differential Laws on the basis of a person's religion, like Right to Education (RTE) and Communal Violence Bill (CVB). Apartheid laws that discriminate against Hindus] When Rahul Gandhi or some Congress person like Shashi Tharoor (who also seems to be a crypto Catholic Christian) talks about the "Idea of India", they imagine an India where people are subjected to different laws on the basis of faith and where Hindus are 3rd class citizens compared to Abrahamics.
The "Idea of India" people want a world in which Christian schools are exempt from RTE, while Hindu schools suffer RTE; a world where Hindus suffer from a so-called Communal Violence Bill while minorities (Muslims + Christians) terrorize Hindus.
Does this "Idea of India" appeal to you? If you forcefully try to impose Christian or Muslim supremacy on a country with over a billion Hindus, we will retaliate and we will destroy you. In an era where people are connected via telecommunications/Internet and are becoming more literate and technologically savvy, if you do anything against Hindus, we will destroy you. Your fake "Gandhi" surname won't stop us from noticing that you are a Vatican terrorist along with your mother.

2023.06.04 08:41 Main_Star3808 Why Congress is Anti-Hindu and Why I as a clueless nri became a supporter of Hindutva politics in India until India is completely ruled by Pro-Hindu politicians with Pro-Hindu Ideology.
I don't think BJP is favored to win Chhattisgarh but I don't want Congress to ever have more than 3 states (Himachal, Karnataka, Chhatisgarh) by the end of 2023.

2023.06.04 08:39 natural20MC journal entry: I abused pot from the age of 18 to 37 (I'm 38 now)
(((flagged for deletion)))
tldr: to manage a 'manic head' well, I don't know of any method better than
practice.
whatever...I'm drunk. 'my pot use' is something I've been struggling with posting about for a while now. ...I want to portray myself as a "role model" or something for those who struggle with mania and wanna find a successful path with little-to-no psych drugs. ...fuckin,
pot is likely NOT a good idea for those with a 'propensity for mania' that wanna stay stable. That said, I credit my success largely to pot abuse. Pot induces a "salience network disconnect". Mania induces a "salience network disconnect". Managing the "salience network disconnect" is one of the most difficult parts of managing a manic head.
It's easy to reduce episode frequency & severity through 'behavior based neurotransmitter adjustment'. Even with the best management practices though, mania will still happen. When mania strikes, it's a fuckin bitch to manage if you don't bone tf up on some cognitive engineering techniques to manage a "salience network disconnect".
read: I trained myself to operate a manic head by abusing tf outta pot and forcing my thought patterns & behaviors to be aligned with 'how I WANT to think' and 'doing what I WANT to do' while I'm high.
quick example: I trained myself to be productive while high. If I'm high, I can't have fun (play games, watch a movie, whatever) till everything is clean and organized and I've exercised and stretched. Side note: cardio while high is fucking amazing for thought processing.
quick example 2: I trained myself to be "appropriate" while high. ...mostly amounts to STFU while high. I'm "inappropriate" by nature and 'the things I think are funny and worthy of comment' do not align with what others think. Training myself to 'keep my words to myself' was quite helpful.
The SN disconnect you get with pot is def not a 1:1 correlation with the SN disconnect you get with mania. err...maybe it is? IDK. but mania def comes with tons of other baggage, in addition to the SN disconnect. read: mania messes with thought patterns in unique ways...though I'd wager that the way mania messes with YOUR thought patterns is uniquely consistent. read: mania is a simple beast bruh...it's gonna push your thoughts/behaviors in a consistent manner. Figure out how it's pushing you and devise counters. If you can make mania your bitch, it will forever be your bitch...it is not capable of adapting.
So, not a 1:1 coloration. but...inducing bruh. Pot helps to induce mania, hypo/mania, and/or pseudo-hypo/mania...depending on the catalysts you're using and how you dose them.
INDUCING!!! Practice makes perfect bruh. Or rather 'perfect practice makes perfect'. That's my "secret" or whatever. [hubris/brag] I have induced tf outta mania, hypo/mania, and pseudo-hypo/mania, to the extent that I can dose some catalysts and know 'to a high degree of certainty' if I'm gonna get mania, hypo/mania, or pseudo-hypo/mania. 'Stress' and 'excitement' are the hardest catalysts to control, but easy enough to factor into the equation if I'm aware of em. Also, 'time since last real episode' plays a big role (refractory period).
The key to my success is the fact that I've practiced tf outta operating on a manic head. It's to the point that I can present myself as euthymic while I'm in 'MANIA with psychosis'. #pimp shit. Ask my wife and mom. [/hubris/brag]
Important note: I do not recommend inducing. I recommend that those with a 'propensity for mania' avoid pot. 'Inducing' and 'regularly experiencing the SN disconnect' are important for FIGURING OUT how to operate a manic head. I've figured it out bruh. Take my advice and avoid the dangerous bullshit. #someJesusshitbout sacrificing myself or whatever so you don't have to [/hubris]
fr tho...perfect practice makes perfect. Expect mania. Go into mania aware that you are going into mania. Make it a point to "do better" each episode. Do better. Win.
Starting points:
- Understand that you are in control while manic. You're you, just with a different operating system.
- STFU is a great way to start. Learning that you can just keep your mouth shut while in the throes of MANIA is powerful af. Mania does not control you, it's just a different operating system. You are still in control, you're just piloting a different machine. Understand this on an intrinsic level and you will make progress.
- A 'structure within the chaos' you can lay your foundation on is SAFETY. Mania strips you down to base instinct + 'shit you have consciously & willfully conditioned into your Self' (read: mania strips away societal conditioning). SAFETY is a base instinct. Define "SAFETY" consciously & willfully. Mania will fall into line.
- protip: set a SAFETY point for ingesting a course of antipsychotics and fuckin consume them when you cross that point.
-----------------
Psuedo-hypo/mania. How I define it and how I induce it.
Let's break it down.
hypo/mania = the hypo/manic engine is running.
Mania is subjective af. hypomania is subjective af. They operate under the same engine, but mania is subjectively more intense than hypomania, subjectively. Duh.
"Manic" and "hypomanic" states of mind are largely classified based on "OBSERVED BEHAVIOR". ...if you're "manic" and just STFUing and sitting in a corner or whatever, are you really "manic"?
It is possible to present yourself as "hypomanic" while "manic". It is possible to present yourself as "manic" while "hypomanic". It is possible to fluxuate between "mania" and "hypomania" multiple times within the same day, or even within an hour. It is possible to present yourself as "euthymic" while "manic" and vice versa (if you don't believe me, go slam 10 shots of espresso and take 2-6 hits of pot on a "euthymic" head...see if folks don't think you're "manic").
"hypo/mania" is the term I use to remove some subjectivity. Maybe I'm "manic". Maybe I'm "hypomanic". All I know is that the "hypo/mania engine" is running. (reference: https://www.reddit.com/MinMed/comments/u955jv/episode_breakdown_the_hypomania_engine/)
Pseudo = fake. Not genuine.
Pseudo-hypo/mania = the hypo/mania engine is running, but it's not really an episode. The positive feedback loop has not taken hold and the "episode" can be terminated quickly if fuel is not injected into the engine.
Pseudo-hypo/mania = one (1) to three (3) days of low-grade "hypomania", with little-to-no risk of the "episode" devolving into something more serious.
to achieve
pseudo, I gotta dose catalysts to blast tf off in the span of 1 day then slam the breaks hard for the next 1-3 days.
How do I induce pseudo/blast tf off? I jump-start the 'hypo/manic engine' by injecting the proper brain chemicals (catalysts).
The catalysts I typically dose are as follows:
- caffeine
- calorie deprivation
- sugar
- pot
- sleep deprivation
- stress
- excitement
- love (giving, not receiving...receiving love is an inhibitor)
The ritual to induce pseudo takes me
one (1) single day. At the end of the day, I am fucked up. I am not in pseudo-hypo/mania at the end of the day, I'm just "high" or "drugged" or whatever. Pseudo-hypo/mania is what happens on the following couple days.
I rarely dose all the catalysts in a single day. That would be overkill and possibly induce real-hypo/mania. I dose myself accordingly. Took a ton of trial and error to figure out what "accordingly" meant.
The first step of my 'pseudo induction ritual' is to assess the abstract catalysts. Stress & excitement. Those are not something I can 'dose at will'. Those are catalysts I need to be aware of, so I can adjust the dose of the rest of my catalysts "accordingly".
note: I was once hit with a 'huge fuckin spike of excitement' after dosing all my other catalysts for the day. The result was MANIA. An episode that lasted about a month.
This shit is dangerous bruh. Playing with your head like I do is not advisable [/hubris]
Caffine Four (4) to eight (8) cups of coffee (or shots of espresso) throughout the day. Starting at like 10am and ending at like 7pm. Ten (10) cups/shots is def too much and will result in a panic attack.
Do not drink caffeine ever, unless I'm trying to induce. Reduce tolerance to a minimum.
Calorie deprivation Eat 'just enough to not be uncomfortable' from when I wake until midnight. Like 1000 calories max. The caffeine helps to curb appetite. Not advisable to consume caffeine on an empty stomach (cuz ulcers).
Avoid fatty protein when inducing.
Sugar When midnight hits, slam sugar into my face. Sour patch kids ftw.
Pot Starting at about 10pm, smoke 3-5 hits at a time spaced out by 2-3 or so hours per session. Continue smoking till like 4 or 6 or 8 am.
Sleep deprivation Def less than 4 hours of sleep. Often 0 hours of sleep. Get at least 2 hours of "meditation" in if getting 0 hours of sleep.
Stress & excitement Be aware. It's possible to dose these to an extent
THE DAYS FOLLOWING THE INDUCTION RITUAL If all goes according to plan, I wake up from my "sleep" or "meditation" or whatever slightly high and slightly wired. The "high"/"wired" shit or whatever will wear off by like 10am and after that I'm in pseudo.
The key to managing pseudo is to understand that if I push it I will likely enter a real episode. I take a nap the day after if I can. I avoid caffeine and other catalysts. I eat as much as I can, especially fatty protein. I go to sleep on time and get at least 8 hours. etc etc. I ensure there are checks on my behavior...my wife knows me & my head quite well and she knows to speak up if she sees something that could possibly be worrisome.
I've found that the biggest factor determing how long pseudo lasts is 'where I am in my refractory period'. If I've been in a real episode recently, pseudo will usually not last as long. If it's been a year or two since my last real episode, pseudo will last 2 or 3 days. ...if it's been a year or two since my last real episode, the danger of devolving into a real episode is greater.
[/hubris]
-------------------
dooood. I've written out & rewritten a form of this post like 30+ times. It typically devolves into disclaimers and clarifications. Fuckin, I do not wanna be responsible for someone with 'a propensity for mania' doin some stupid shit.
disclaimer: if you try to do the shit I did, you're gonna fuck some shit up. I fucked up a ton. I have an expansive safety net. I am #privilaged. Don't do what I did unless you are well prepared to fuck some shit up, like your life.
[/hubris]
---------------
--------------
for anyone paying attention to my account: sorry bruh. I've been afk like a motherfucker this past year+. I'm focusing my attention on my family and my QoL has gone way up cuz of it. I've stopped inducing pseudo and fuckin with my head. I've stopped smoking pot. ...the lack of pot is likely a big driver with me writing less. This shit's less fun on a sober mind and feels more like work, ya know?
I will finish my guide eventually, but right now I got a toddler and raising him right ranks higher than anything else for me.
I expect I'll hit a real hypo/manic episode sometime in the next year or two...I'll likely be writing a bunch, focused on my guide, when that happens. Till then, I'm prolly gonna be mostly afk.

2023.06.04 08:39 Block-Busted Was it a mistake for the mankind to leave Medieval Era behind?
Because lately, I'm seeing people claiming that we're all going to die within this decade:
Experts are warning AI could lead to human extinction. Are we taking it seriously enough?
Human extinction.
Think about that for a second. Really think about it. The erasure of the human race from planet Earth.
That is what top industry leaders are frantically sounding the alarm about. These technologists and academics keep smashing the red panic button, doing everything they can to warn about the potential dangers artificial intelligence poses to the very existence of civilization.
On Tuesday, hundreds of top AI scientists, researchers, and others — including OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman and Google DeepMind chief executive Demis Hassabis — again voiced deep concern for the future of humanity, signing a one-sentence open letter to the public that aimed to put the risks the rapidly advancing technology carries with it in unmistakable terms.
“Mitigating the risk of extinction from AI should be a global priority alongside other societal-scale risks such as pandemics and nuclear war,” said the letter, signed by many of the industry’s most respected figures.
It doesn’t get more straightforward and urgent than that. These industry leaders are quite literally warning that the impending AI revolution should be taken as seriously as the threat of nuclear war. They are pleading for policymakers to erect some guardrails and establish baseline regulations to defang the primitive technology before it is too late.
Dan Hendrycks, the executive director of the Center for AI Safety, called the situation “reminiscent of atomic scientists issuing warnings about the very technologies they’ve created. As Robert Oppenheimer noted, ‘We knew the world would not be the same.’”
“There are many ‘important and urgent risks from AI,’ not just the risk of extinction; for example, systemic bias, misinformation, malicious use, cyberattacks, and weaponization,” Hendrycks continued. “These are all important risks that need to be addressed.”
And yet, it seems that the dire message these experts are desperately trying to send the public isn’t cutting through the noise of everyday life. AI experts might be sounding the alarm, but the level of trepidation — and in some cases sheer terror — they harbor about the technology is not being echoed with similar urgency by the news media to the masses.
Instead, broadly speaking, news organizations treated Tuesday’s letter — like all of the other warnings we have seen in recent months — as just another headline, mixed in with a garden variety of stories. Some major news organizations didn’t even feature an article about the chilling warning on their website’s homepages.
To some extent, it feels eerily reminiscent of the early days of the pandemic, before the widespread panic and the shutdowns and the overloaded emergency rooms. Newsrooms kept an eye on the rising threat that the virus posed, publishing stories about it slowly spreading across the world. But by the time the serious nature of the virus was fully recognized and fused into the very essence in which it was covered, it had already effectively upended the world.
History risks repeating itself with AI, with even higher stakes. Yes, news organizations are covering the developing technology. But there has been a considerable lack of urgency surrounding the issue given the open possibility of planetary peril.
Perhaps that is because it can be difficult to come to terms with the notion that a Hollywood-style science fiction apocalypse can become reality, that advancing computer technology might reach escape velocity and decimate humans from existence. It is, however, precisely what the world’s most leading experts are warning could happen.
It is much easier to avoid uncomfortable realities, pushing them from the forefront into the background and hoping that issues simply resolve themselves with time. But often they don’t — and it seems unlikely that the growing concerns pertaining to AI will resolve themselves. In fact, it’s far more likely that with the breakneck pace in which the technology is developing, the concerns will actually become more apparent with time.
As Cynthia Rudin, a computer science professor and AI researcher at Duke University, told CNN on Tuesday: “Do we really need more evidence that AI’s negative impact could be as big as nuclear war?”
https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/30/media/artificial-intelligence-warning-reliable-sources/index.html#:~:text=%E2%80%9CThere%20are%20many%20'important%20and,that%20need%20to%20be%20addressed.%E2%80%9D Pausing AI Developments Isn't Enough. We Need to Shut it All Down
BY ELIEZER YUDKOWSKY MARCH 29, 2023 6:01 PM EDT
Yudkowsky is a decision theorist from the U.S. and leads research at the Machine Intelligence Research Institute. He's been working on aligning Artificial General Intelligence since 2001 and is widely regarded as a founder of the field.
An open letter published today calls for “all AI labs to immediately pause for at least 6 months the training of AI systems more powerful than GPT-4.”
This 6-month moratorium would be better than no moratorium. I have respect for everyone who stepped up and signed it. It’s an improvement on the margin.
I refrained from signing because I think the letter is understating the seriousness of the situation and asking for too little to solve it.
The key issue is not “human-competitive” intelligence (as the open letter puts it); it’s what happens after AI gets to smarter-than-human intelligence. Key thresholds there may not be obvious, we definitely can’t calculate in advance what happens when, and it currently seems imaginable that a research lab would cross critical lines without noticing.
Many researchers steeped in these issues, including myself, expect that the most likely result of building a superhumanly smart AI, under anything remotely like the current circumstances, is that literally everyone on Earth will die. Not as in “maybe possibly some remote chance,” but as in “that is the obvious thing that would happen.” It’s not that you can’t, in principle, survive creating something much smarter than you; it’s that it would require precision and preparation and new scientific insights, and probably not having AI systems composed of giant inscrutable arrays of fractional numbers.
Without that precision and preparation, the most likely outcome is AI that does not do what we want, and does not care for us nor for sentient life in general. That kind of caring is something that could in principle be imbued into an AI but we are not ready and do not currently know how.
Absent that caring, we get “the AI does not love you, nor does it hate you, and you are made of atoms it can use for something else.”
The likely result of humanity facing down an opposed superhuman intelligence is a total loss. Valid metaphors include “a 10-year-old trying to play chess against Stockfish 15”, “the 11th century trying to fight the 21st century,” and “Australopithecus trying to fight Homo sapiens“.
To visualize a hostile superhuman AI, don’t imagine a lifeless book-smart thinker dwelling inside the internet and sending ill-intentioned emails. Visualize an entire alien civilization, thinking at millions of times human speeds, initially confined to computers—in a world of creatures that are, from its perspective, very stupid and very slow. A sufficiently intelligent AI won’t stay confined to computers for long. In today’s world you can email DNA strings to laboratories that will produce proteins on demand, allowing an AI initially confined to the internet to build artificial life forms or bootstrap straight to postbiological molecular manufacturing.
If somebody builds a too-powerful AI, under present conditions, I expect that every single member of the human species and all biological life on Earth dies shortly thereafter.
There’s no proposed plan for how we could do any such thing and survive. OpenAI’s openly declared intention is to make some future AI do our AI alignment homework. Just hearing that this is the plan ought to be enough to get any sensible person to panic. The other leading AI lab, DeepMind, has no plan at all.
An aside: None of this danger depends on whether or not AIs are or can be conscious; it’s intrinsic to the notion of powerful cognitive systems that optimize hard and calculate outputs that meet sufficiently complicated outcome criteria. With that said, I’d be remiss in my moral duties as a human if I didn’t also mention that we have no idea how to determine whether AI systems are aware of themselves—since we have no idea how to decode anything that goes on in the giant inscrutable arrays—and therefore we may at some point inadvertently create digital minds which are truly conscious and ought to have rights and shouldn’t be owned.
The rule that most people aware of these issues would have endorsed 50 years earlier, was that if an AI system can speak fluently and says it’s self-aware and demands human rights, that ought to be a hard stop on people just casually owning that AI and using it past that point. We already blew past that old line in the sand. And that was probably correct; I agree that current AIs are probably just imitating talk of self-awareness from their training data. But I mark that, with how little insight we have into these systems’ internals, we do not actually know.
If that’s our state of ignorance for GPT-4, and GPT-5 is the same size of giant capability step as from GPT-3 to GPT-4, I think we’ll no longer be able to justifiably say “probably not self-aware” if we let people make GPT-5s. It’ll just be “I don’t know; nobody knows.” If you can’t be sure whether you’re creating a self-aware AI, this is alarming not just because of the moral implications of the “self-aware” part, but because being unsure means you have no idea what you are doing and that is dangerous and you should stop.
On Feb. 7, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, publicly gloated that the new Bing would make Google “come out and show that they can dance.” “I want people to know that we made them dance,” he said.
This is not how the CEO of Microsoft talks in a sane world. It shows an overwhelming gap between how seriously we are taking the problem, and how seriously we needed to take the problem starting 30 years ago.
We are not going to bridge that gap in six months.
It took more than 60 years between when the notion of Artificial Intelligence was first proposed and studied, and for us to reach today’s capabilities. Solving safety of superhuman intelligence—not perfect safety, safety in the sense of “not killing literally everyone”—could very reasonably take at least half that long. And the thing about trying this with superhuman intelligence is that if you get that wrong on the first try, you do not get to learn from your mistakes, because you are dead. Humanity does not learn from the mistake and dust itself off and try again, as in other challenges we’ve overcome in our history, because we are all gone.
Trying to get anything right on the first really critical try is an extraordinary ask, in science and in engineering. We are not coming in with anything like the approach that would be required to do it successfully. If we held anything in the nascent field of Artificial General Intelligence to the lesser standards of engineering rigor that apply to a bridge meant to carry a couple of thousand cars, the entire field would be shut down tomorrow.
We are not prepared. We are not on course to be prepared in any reasonable time window. There is no plan. Progress in AI capabilities is running vastly, vastly ahead of progress in AI alignment or even progress in understanding what the hell is going on inside those systems. If we actually do this, we are all going to die.
Many researchers working on these systems think that we’re plunging toward a catastrophe, with more of them daring to say it in private than in public; but they think that they can’t unilaterally stop the forward plunge, that others will go on even if they personally quit their jobs. And so they all think they might as well keep going. This is a stupid state of affairs, and an undignified way for Earth to die, and the rest of humanity ought to step in at this point and help the industry solve its collective action problem.
Some of my friends have recently reported to me that when people outside the AI industry hear about extinction risk from Artificial General Intelligence for the first time, their reaction is “maybe we should not build AGI, then.”
Hearing this gave me a tiny flash of hope, because it’s a simpler, more sensible, and frankly saner reaction than I’ve been hearing over the last 20 years of trying to get anyone in the industry to take things seriously. Anyone talking that sanely deserves to hear how bad the situation actually is, and not be told that a six-month moratorium is going to fix it.
On March 16, my partner sent me this email. (She later gave me permission to excerpt it here.)
“Nina lost a tooth! In the usual way that children do, not out of carelessness! Seeing GPT4 blow away those standardized tests on the same day that Nina hit a childhood milestone brought an emotional surge that swept me off my feet for a minute. It’s all going too fast. I worry that sharing this will heighten your own grief, but I’d rather be known to you than for each of us to suffer alone.”
When the insider conversation is about the grief of seeing your daughter lose her first tooth, and thinking she’s not going to get a chance to grow up, I believe we are past the point of playing political chess about a six-month moratorium.
If there was a plan for Earth to survive, if only we passed a six-month moratorium, I would back that plan. There isn’t any such plan.
Here’s what would actually need to be done:
The moratorium on new large training runs needs to be indefinite and worldwide. There can be no exceptions, including for governments or militaries. If the policy starts with the U.S., then China needs to see that the U.S. is not seeking an advantage but rather trying to prevent a horrifically dangerous technology which can have no true owner and which will kill everyone in the U.S. and in China and on Earth. If I had infinite freedom to write laws, I might carve out a single exception for AIs being trained solely to solve problems in biology and biotechnology, not trained on text from the internet, and not to the level where they start talking or planning; but if that was remotely complicating the issue I would immediately jettison that proposal and say to just shut it all down.
Shut down all the large GPU clusters (the large computer farms where the most powerful AIs are refined). Shut down all the large training runs. Put a ceiling on how much computing power anyone is allowed to use in training an AI system, and move it downward over the coming years to compensate for more efficient training algorithms. No exceptions for governments and militaries. Make immediate multinational agreements to prevent the prohibited activities from moving elsewhere. Track all GPUs sold. If intelligence says that a country outside the agreement is building a GPU cluster, be less scared of a shooting conflict between nations than of the moratorium being violated; be willing to destroy a rogue datacenter by airstrike.
Frame nothing as a conflict between national interests, have it clear that anyone talking of arms races is a fool. That we all live or die as one, in this, is not a policy but a fact of nature. Make it explicit in international diplomacy that preventing AI extinction scenarios is considered a priority above preventing a full nuclear exchange, and that allied nuclear countries are willing to run some risk of nuclear exchange if that’s what it takes to reduce the risk of large AI training runs.
That’s the kind of policy change that would cause my partner and I to hold each other, and say to each other that a miracle happened, and now there’s a chance that maybe Nina will live. The sane people hearing about this for the first time and sensibly saying “maybe we should not” deserve to hear, honestly, what it would take to have that happen. And when your policy ask is that large, the only way it goes through is if policymakers realize that if they conduct business as usual, and do what’s politically easy, that means their own kids are going to die too.
Shut it all down.
We are not ready. We are not on track to be significantly readier in the foreseeable future. If we go ahead on this everyone will die, including children who did not choose this and did not do anything wrong.
Shut it down.
https://time.com/6266923/ai-eliezer-yudkowsky-open-letter-not-enough/ I fully expect to die in the AI apocalypse in 5-10 years, and I'll be surprised by happy if I don't.
https://old.reddit.com/Futurology/comments/134g9zp/one_of_the_creators_of_chatgpt_said_that_the/jifgp46/?context=3 People are going to say no because it would be inconvenient, but I don't see what's stopping AI from ending all life in the next couple of years. Alignment is an unsolved problem, and an unaligned AI will most likely try to kill anything it sees as a threat to its mission.
https://old.reddit.com/artificial/comments/13xsbnt/is_ai_going_to_cause_the_complete_extinction_of/jmjzpmo/?context=3 Yes, AI will probably cause human extinction in the next decade. Paul Christiano, former senior employee of OpenAI, said that there is 20% chance that AI causes human extinction. Eliezer Yudkowsky, major contributor to AI safety and development, thinks it is 99%.
https://old.reddit.com/artificial/comments/13xsbnt/is_ai_going_to_cause_the_complete_extinction_of/jms84rb/ I am trying actually! I organized a picket outside OpenAI's HQ in May, before the Extinction statement.
You can search Eliezer Yudkowsky podcasts on youtube, or his blog. The podcast i recommend is Bankless one.
He says that our death is the most likely outcome from AI, and is now living off his life, like it is his last years.
https://old.reddit.com/artificial/comments/13xsbnt/is_ai_going_to_cause_the_complete_extinction_of/jmsqj28/ Based on these, it seems like we're far more likely to go completely extinct than we did before with AI, COVID-19, nuclear weapons, and so on. None of those existed during Medieval Era, so maybe we should've never left that era.
Thoughts on these?

2023.06.04 08:34 pizgloria007 Skin issues - concerns & advice needed
M, 30-34. 185 lbs. 6’5. Meds: lexapro, truvada.
I’ve had some odd health episodes in the last 3 months. Had a cyst come up under each shoulder, in the space of 2-3 weeks one after the other, approx. early April. Had them drained, Doctor ordered ultrasound & no concerns reported.
Was on antibiotics for 10 days, ended them in early May.
Redness has returned to the armpit where each cyst was in the last 10-20 days. Pic from April before drainage, not current.
Additionally, I have had a green/brown tongue for over 2 weeks now, with a bitter taste. This really got bad around May 15.
Doctor ordered STI panel, results negative both at start of April & now at beginning of June.
I know this is a broad question, but could the armpit cysts & oral concerns be related? Any recommendations on what I could ask my Doctor to test further for?
Thanks.

2023.06.04 08:33 Mattrapbeats Doubling customer's lifetime value

2023.06.04 08:32 badgermush Sammygirl. An analysis.
I don’t care how well known her surname is, I don’t feel it’s necessary to use in this post for identification purposes. We all know who I’m talking about.
Sammy piqued my interest the moment one of her lives were recorded and reposted, appearing on my FYP. This was in November of last year. Since then, I have watched from afar and analysed her behaviours.
It’s only really now that I can share these, given I’ve never had the audience before.
Sammy, at her core, is a volatile, lost, rejected little girl. The anger, aggressiveness and alcoholism are all fronts so that people do not truly see who she is as a person.
I don’t believe she wants to ‘push’ people away, as she often says. Quite the opposite. She clings to her social media relationships with intensity and ferocity; Which a lot of people can’t handle. When she senses the first sign of rejection or abandonment (such as someone not battling her, calling her, or following her ‘rules’), her volatile and aggressive behaviours come out - Her volatility from her core, and the aggressiveness as a front to hide her volatile nature as to not totally burn the bridge.
These volatile and aggressive behaviours are only strengthened and made more unpredictable by her abuse of alcohol.
We have seen this happen with Wez on multiple occasions, Jess (and those associated with her - Cassie, Mandy, Molly, Ang, Rachelle, etc), Karlee Indeed, Ash Louise, Mel Psychic, Rachael (her mod), Starting Over, Fake Krystle. Now Molly. The list goes on, and on..
Sadly, these people are manipulated back into Sammy’s grip. Whether this be from something inside of them that Sam can exploit, or, for some of them, seeing Sam as a means to gain traction on TikTok. Drama sells.
Sammy is not one to keep her promises, which have included: 1. Cutting Jess off (I think we are up to season 9 of this story) 2. Two promises now to seek a Mental Health Care Plan. 3. A promise to seek counselling for her alcoholism. 4. A promise to work for Karlee (the responsibility of this one does not fall squarely on Sammy) 5. Never coming on live again (This was after one of her sammygirlDrayke accts were banned). 6. Starting the gym (she went once). 7. Looking for work (claims to have handed out 15 resumes). 8. Getting her tattoo covered up. 9. Getting ‘J’ tattooed. 10. Quitting alcohol. 11. Getting an AVO on Jess.
And, less importantly:
- Wearing the dress after her dare battle with Ash.
- Wearing the helmet after he dare battle with Wez.
Many people call Sam a narcissist. I don’t believe that she is.
Many people say that ‘Sam isn’t that bad’, and that the jealous and aggressive reactions we have seen are ‘reactive abuse’ from Jessica. I don’t believe this either.
I believe that Sammy has an incredibly volatile and unstable personality. Potentially a personality disorder. I believe she has an intense fear of abandonment and rejection, incredibly diysregulated and unpredictable emotions and moods, an unstable self image, unpredictable and self injurious behaviour, social isolation, and on occasion, quite a grandiose view of herself (this particularly correlates with demeaning words and behaviours towards others - Calling Molly the ‘R’ word, saying negative things about J’s body, etc).
Sammy is continuing to self destruct, and no-one around her truly cares. They see her as a platform to gain viewers and gifts, or, think that she truly is the victim in life. Sometimes, the best friend is the one who will call you out on your bullshit.
Sam, I don’t believe you are an inherently bad person. However, you need psychological and psychiatric assistance. You need to find somewhere to access support for your alcoholism, you need to find regular psychological support, you need to find a job, and gather some stability in your real life.
Your online ‘friends’ are not your friends; They are users. They only stay in contact with you when it meets their needs. Or when they need some TikTok attention.

Rati Gali Small 3. Hans Raj Lake 4. Kala Sar Lake 5. Ghatian Lake 6. Saral Lake 7. Moon Lake 8. Ram Chakor Lake 9. Mulanwali Lake 10. Butkanali Lake 11. Shounter Lake 12. Chitta Katha Lake 13. Chitta Katha 2 14. Banjusa Lake 15. Baghsar Lake 16. Subri / Langarpura Lake 17. Zalzal Lake 18. Patlian Lake 19. Mai Narada Lake 20. Noori Lake 21. Khargam Lake 22. Duck Lake 1. Rati Gali Lake First of all, remove the confusion of the name Rati Gali. Until 2010, the local name of Rati Gali was Darian Saryan Sar. Sar(sar) is locally referred to as a Lake or a natural body of water. Officially in 2010 and a local Sufi saint, Mian Barkatullah Sarkar, whose Astana is known as Barkatiya. Due to the recognition and respect of his religious services, the Lake and the road leading to it were named after him and the Lake was named Rati Gali Barkatiya Lake, which also has a formal government notification. Rati Gali Lake is an alpine glacial Lake located in the Neelum Valley, meaning its source of water is the glaciers in the area. This Lake is accessible from Duariyan on Wadi Neelam Road at a distance of about 75 km from the southern side of Muzaffarabad. Which leads to the base camp after a 16 km jeep track from Dwarian. The Lake can be reached after an hour-easy trek from the base camp. This Lake is located at an altitude of 12130 feet or 3700 meters above sea level. It is a popular tourist spot in the area where all the facilities are available. There is a large camping site at the base camp where tents and food, electricity, and Wi-Fi are available at affordable prices and for horse riding enthusiasts there is a horse-riding facility to reach the Lake.
