The next chapter in the epic Dark Dimension saga is rapidly approaching, with a target release date of June 27th at 5:00 PM (PDT)! Rewards have been improved compared to the previous Dark Dimensions to match the new challenge.
REQUIREMENTS
Dark Dimension VI nodes will require a full team of 5 characters per trait requirement, so you’ll eventually need at least 20 characters in total to complete it. This is the order in which the nodes will require the specific traits:
Missions 1-2: No trait restriction (any Gear Tier 18)
Missions 3-5: Global (Legendary EXCLUDED)
Missions 6-8: Cosmic (Legendary EXCLUDED)
Missions 9-11: City (Legendary EXCLUDED)
Missions 12-13: Legendary (non-Horseman)
Missions 14-15: Legendary and/or Apocalypse
FIRST-CLEAR WINNER REWARDS
As with previous new chapters of Dark Dimension, there will be a huge celebration following the first player to complete Dark Dimension VI fully.
The winner will personally receive the following:
A promotion to 7 Red Star of an eligible character of their choice (from a list of eligible characters)
> This cannot include any character that currently does not have 7 Red Stars available, like Apocalypse.
The player’s name, representative of their personal profile, is immortalized in an in-game environment.
> The name will be decided in conjunction with the dev team, and a choice must be made within 7 business days of being contacted after completing Dark Dimension VI.

Each node in the "To Infinity" Campaign rewards fragments for the Intergalactic Orb, which contains Cosmo character shards and certain characters with the limited-time Intergalactic trait (non-Legendary), which you can filter for in your roster. You'll need at least five characters with the limited-time "Intergalactic" trait to attempt the Heroic Difficulty, which also rewards Teal Gear.
The running time has been reduced from 14 days to 7 days, but the first-time rewards, Gold and gear node rewards, and the related Intergalactic Orb items have increased. This is to help streamline the experience and provide a more rewarding and focused daily experience.

I dislike nearly everything about myself, but my name and my voice are probably at the top. I dont know how I want to come off to people as, there's nothing specific about me on the inside, I really dont know what would work for me and it kills me. which is why my voice and my name are at the top of my self hatred. they're like the two things that basically shape/define yourself before you get the chance to. I hate my voice and the way my mouth moves when I talk, but there's nothing I can do about that aside from not talk much, it keeps me from wanting to speak my mind honestly.
But my name I can change, and im at a point where I dont know anyone, life is shit and very stagnant that if I were to do it, now might be the best time to reinvent myself before I try and get out there in the world. Im not unfamiliar to having an unstable name. My mom was single when she had me, so legally I have her last name, then throughout school she hyphenated my last name w her husbands. I reject any relation to her husband, who has been there for my whole life, so dad I guess, but he disgusts me in so many regards and has been very fucked up and emotionally neglectful throughout my life. so I dropped his name in high school. ive grown to, as a whole, not consider my family my family. I also think Im built like that towards them regardless, they've just given me tons of reasons to not like them. ever since I was a kid ive known there's something lacking in the way I feel about them, I never loved them like I would see everyone else love their families. Everyone outside of my immediate family is very arms length anyway. this was only fueled by my moms increasing alcohol issues. I just want nothing to do with the name that was given to me from this origin.
I just want a new name but idk how similar or far and random I should go. or where to start when even thinking about it. if I should look at first names that have the same letter as my current, if I should base it off my middle name, or should I just take a random name I like, if I should take my biological father's last name as im kinda entitled to it, how I should even navigate last names? so many questions. it's hard cause names should be fitting, and I heard of a study about how we subconsciously and subtly mold ourselves to our name as we age but like many on here, identity is a struggle, and ive never had a sense of identity before, and as I said my name is one of those things that I feel holds me down. anyone relate?

Hey, all. As the title says, I'm having a rough go of it trying to enjoy DMC3. This will almost undoubtedly spiral into unhinged ramble territory, but I will try my best to keep things a little focused. I'll go over my play history with the series for context and bring up my particular complaints; I'm hoping the community can spot what it is that I might be missing or offer me a window into the brain of a DMC fan. I want to say here, probably unnecessarily, that I am not trying to condemn the series as some doo-doo brain button-masher or anything; DMC as a concept sounds really appealing to me, and I want in, so I am very honestly asking here for any ideas on how to get my ape brain to enjoy it.
I only tried out the games this year, and I had always heard beforehand that these were the games to get into if you wanted flashy hack-and-slash fun, that even if you somehow hated everything else the combat would win you over. So I got DMC1, played about an hour and a half, and I hated it. "No biggie," I thought. "I'll skip over 2 and try out 3." After all, it does seem to be a favorite of the fanbase.
Initially, I was elated. It felt much smoother to control, I had a few more options to play around with, and I was pretty quickly given new guns and devil arms. However, as I progressed, it became very stale very fast. Even with swordmaster as my style the whole way through (I maxed it out, too), I felt like I had a bafflingly small number of things to do with each weapon, and I didn't even like one of them (Nevan).
I took a month-long break after beating Geryon, and in that time I checked out DMC4 and 5 and thoroughly enjoyed Bayonetta. I also bailed on 4 after 10 or so missions of Nero had pushed me to the brink of madness (the same issues I had with 3 but cranked up), but with the help of a character selection mod for 5 (I wanted to skip to Dante to see what the fuss was about), I actually had a pretty decent time on the first few levels. The style-swapping seems like a no-brainer, leveling up styles and getting new moves is significantly faster, and, while I haven't played enough to know for sure, those extra slots on my guns and devil arms promise a deluge of new shit to do later in the game.
This encouraged me to go back to DMC3 with a style-switcher mod. For a while, I was again having an okay go of it. But now, having finished mission 15 like a day ago, I'm all the way burnt out again. I didn't end up liking the Beowulf weapon much (again, too simple, especially compared to 5's interpretation), so I was back to the old three, and they've just become so stale. I have a lot of other gripes with enemy variety and level design, but these are tangential; my biggest grievance by far is that the combos in a vacuum just don't offer me enough variety.
And before you ask: yes, I know about jump-canceling. I've tried it out with a few of Rebellion's and A&R's air moves for 2 or 3 reps, and I don't really care for it. The usefulness is there—I just don't like how it feels to input. I also regularly use crazy combos to get easy peasy SSS when I'm thirsting for red orbs, but I hate the fact that it feels like I'm brutalizing my controller to do them, lol.
So help me out, please: what am I missing/doing wrong/etc.?
Extra context—my history with hack-and-slash and beat-em-up games: this post is probably way too long as is, but I wanted to include this in case it was helpful. Like I mentioned, I recently played and really enjoyed Bayonetta. In particular, I liked the vast array of combo options with appreciable utility differences in their enders and speed, the great variety of weapons (especially that whip, ZAMN!), and (mostly) the bosses. I didn't like how the late game's overuse of minibosses and drought of grunt crowds funneled me into playing less stylishly/more repetitively. A few months before that, I played and loved Sifu. Although I know this game plays a lot more restrained and tactically, there were a lot of tools to use and certainly ways to look flashy. I've tried Ninja Gaiden Black for less than an hour, probably. It was okay? I need more time with it. And lastly, the apple of my eye since I was a kid, God of War, particularly 1-3. I can wax poetic about how much and in which ways I adore God of War, but unless that's useful for shaping advice, I'll cut my flowery ass short.

It was raining the day Finnegan stumbled inside the Lucky Star.
His blonde hair was matted and plastered to his face. Blood soaked his right sleeve, and one of the lenses in his glasses was shattered.
“H-help,” he murmured. His knees hit the polished wooden floor. His glasses close behind.
The inn and tavern were quiet—most girls preferred to stay inside on rainy days. Yomi and Ravyn weren’t most girls, though. Some of the rarest Encroachers came out of hiding during the brutal San Island storms. That meant new weapons, new armor, and Bells.
They were two drinks in, celebrating a successful hunt of a pack of galatrax, when the youth tumbled through the door.
“What the hell?” Ravyn jumped to her feet, Yomi close behind.
“He’s bleeding!” Yomi hissed, rushing to his side. “[Stabilize]!”
Is this really the next man? Emberlynn, Ravyn’s mother, had always built her father as a larger-than-life figure. A man that couldn’t be felled by a little rain or surprised by a measly roach.
This… man… was tall but thin. Gangly. Like he hadn’t had a good meal in a long time.
He blinked up at Yomi. “A-are you… are you a nekomimi?”
“I’m sorry, a what?” Yomi dabbed at the bite on his arm with the napkin she’d snatched from the table.
“Mou ii.” He had the gall to look frustrated. Ravyn scoffed. “A catgirl,” he tried again.
“Oh. Yes.” Yomi looked over her shoulder at Ravyn. “We’re, um, well, we’re all catgirls.”
“Oh my God. This is the isekai jackpot.” He rubbed his eyes with his clean hand, blinking up at Ravyn. “Even if the monsters outside are a pain in the ass.”
Yomi hurried to the table, snagged her glass of water, and moved back to his side. “Here, drink this.”
“Ah. Arigatou.” He accepted the water and took a deep drink.
Ravyn had never heard so many unintelligible words in so few sentences. Which was impressive, considering who her mother was. “You didn’t fight back?” she snapped.
“Fight? With what?” He sputtered a laugh, his energy seeming to return. “Besides, why would I fight something that could so obviously kill me?”
Ravyn marched to his side and snatched his broken glasses from the floor. “To survive. Level up. Get Bells. Moron.”
“Baka!” he hissed back.
“Ravyn,” Yomi warned, her ears twitching with annoyance. “This could be new for him, remember?”
“Uh-huh. Saoirse has blessed us all with a—” She paused, squatting so she was at eye level with the newcomer. “Hey, is there a term for a small man? Like calling a young catgirl a kitten.”
“Erm, a boy?”
“Yes. Good. That will do.” Ravyn snapped the glasses in half at the thin bridge and looked at Yomi. “Saoirse has blessed us with a boy.”
“Hey, I—!” He reached for his glasses, then flinched back. His deep green eyes flickered between Ravyn and Yomi’s faces. “Nani? I don’t need my glasses anymore?”
“Saoirse’s tits, can you please speak like a normal person?” Ravyn commanded.
“Ravyn!” Yomi snarled.
He stared at her in disbelief. “How did you know I didn’t need those anymore?”
I didn’t. “Call it a hunch.” Ravyn tossed the remnants of his glasses in a nearby trash bin and wiped her hands. “Good luck in Nyarlea, boy.”
“My name is Finnegan.” He pushed Yomi’s hands away and stumbled to his feet. “Are you a bitch all of the time, or am I a special case?”
Ravyn growled, her hands balling into fists. On his feet, he was almost a head taller than her. But Finnegan was still a malnourished, ill-equipped boy. She raised one hand level to her chest and flattened her palm, the burst of flame mirrored in her violet eyes. “Want to find out?”
“Holy shit,” he stepped backward, raising an arm to block his face.
Yomi caught Ravyn’s wrist and forced it down. “She won’t hurt you.”
“Hm? Please, try me.”
He froze, then looked at Yomi. “Wait, so… [Stabilize]. That was a Spell?”
I should burn you to a crisp right now. Save the Encroachers the trouble.
“That’s right,” Yomi said, positioning herself between him and Ravyn. “I’m Yomi, by the way.”
Finnegan nodded, and his gaze returned to Ravyn. “And you are?”
“Leaving.” Ravyn turned, retrieving the Bells for their drinks from her [Cat Pack] and plopping them on the table. She came to Shulan with Yomi for an adventure. Not to team up with a feeble man who used a strange language and had no idea that Magic existed.
That was a fast road to a quick death.
“Ravyn, wait!” Yomi turned to Finnegan and raised her hands. “Sorry, give me just a second.”
“Yeah. Sure. I’m, uh, just going to sit down a minute.” He wandered to an empty booth, then searched the pockets of his trousers. “Wait, what’s this?” His hand surfaced with the silver rectangle that Ravyn recognized immediately—an iPaw.
“We’ll explain in a moment,” Yomi replied, taking Ravyn’s wrist and yanking her farther back into the Lucky Star.
Their waitress—Kiri—and three other catgirls in attendance had witnessed his entrance and their exchange. Kiri was at his table in the blink of an eye, offering him whatever was on the menu free of charge. The other three leered longingly, joining into a single throng to share a whispered discussion.
“We will explain, Yomi?” Ravyn snarled once they were out of earshot.
“Yes. We.”
“I don’t think so.”
“Are you insane?” Yomi gestured wildly toward Finnegan, toward the other girls, and then back to Ravyn. “Isn’t this exactly why we left Zhuli?”
“To die trying to protect a mass of twigs? I don’t think so,” Ravyn retorted. “That is not a man. Let him go get himself killed, and then we can get a real man.”
Yomi fervently shook her head. “I don’t know what your mother told you about the men of Nyarlea, but everyone has to start somewhere, Ravyn.”

Yomi glanced over her shoulder and lowered her voice. “No, but he needs us. Look at him.”
The tittering trio had made their way over to Finnegan’s booth, and Kiri had slid into the seat next to him. His face had turned a brilliant shade of red, and he stammered through his answers to the endless stream of questions.
Now that he’d dried off, Ravyn could see the dark circles beneath his eyes and the bruises on his neck and arms. There was a small cut on his temple and numerous abrasions on his knuckles as if he had come to blows with a roach. The tears in his clothing suggested he’d been on the losing side.
This wasn’t Finnegan’s first day on San Island—it had taken him some time to find Shulan. But by the grace of the goddess or otherwise, he’d survived and made it to the Lucky Star.
Memories of lonely nights spent in her own room assaulted Ravyn like a tidal wave. Talking to her only friend—a garnet, for Saoirse’s sake—and wishing someone, somewhere, would take the time to see things from her point of view.
“Fuck,” Ravyn whispered, the fight draining from her shoulders. “Yomi—”
“Look, we can make a deal,” Yomi interrupted, holding up a finger. “We give him two weeks. If we can both agree that he’s a lost cause, we’ll go back to adventuring ourselves. Just the two of us.”
It wasn’t a terrible deal. Two weeks wouldn’t set them back very far. Besides, the Bells her mother kept sending to Yomi—Ravyn had sent them back one too many times, apparently—would keep them afloat for a year if need be. As much as she despised using that money, Yomi was adamant about keeping a safety net should things go to hell.
Well, here we are, Mother. Hell himself has walked through the door.
“Two weeks? Swear on it?” Ravyn sighed.
“I swear, Ravyn. Please.”
Ravyn hooked her finger around Yomi’s, tightening it in a tiny truce. “I’ll have your tail if you push me again.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it.” Yomi grinned and hugged her.
“Oh. That’s overkill. No need for this.” Ravyn held up her hands at her side, unsure how to react to the hug. “I don’t see why you’re so stuck on him.”
Yomi released her, her smile widening. “What kitten doesn’t dream of being in a man’s Party?”
This one. “Yeah. Guess so.” Ravyn turned and marched to Finnegan’s table. Narrowing her eyes, she glared at each of his newfound companions in turn. “Alright, ladies, clear out.”
“Who the hell died and made you queen?” one of the whisperers retorted.
“Are you a healer, kitten?” Ravyn crossed her arms and tapped her foot. “Are any of you healers, for that matter?”
The three girls shook their heads.
Ravyn jerked a thumb at Yomi. “He’s hurt. Let someone who can actually help him through.”
“Kiri, I think one of the girls in the back needs your help,” Yomi said.
Smooth when you can be, huh? Ravyn grinned. “We’ll take good care of him.”
“We’ll see about that,” Finnegan grumbled.
Ravyn cleared her throat and raised her hand in the same movement she’d done before to summon the flame. Finnegan jumped back as far as he could, holding the iPaw up like a shield.
“Don’t set him on fire, Ravyn,” Kiri murmured as she vacated the table. The other three slowly followed, glowering at Yomi and Ravyn as they returned to their seats.
“We’ll see about that,” Ravyn chirped.
Finnegan shot her an angry look over his iPaw.
Yomi took a seat next to him while Ravyn assumed the opposite side. She leaned forward, placed one finger on the top of the iPaw, and tipped it down until it rested against the table.
“Alright— what did you call me earlier? Baka?” Ravyn began, her smile sharp.
Finnegan’s face darkened. “Yeah.”
Ravyn snickered. “Well. Welcome to the Lucky Star, baka. Your training begins now.”

I mean it might be there already, but when we're a few years out from it, I firmly believe that this could be considered an all time, foundational title reign for AEW.
Think about the belt when it was introduced. Before OC, there had been one title holder, and sure, the 4-way to crown PAC was a lot of fun, but there wasn't that much fanfare with it. It was firmly the third most important men's title in AEW (fourth counting tag), not helped by the fact that PAC only defended the title 6 times in 3 months, half of which were not in AEW. It's surpassed the TNT, surpassed the tag straps, definitely surpassed the U.S. title, and there are even times when I care much more about it than either company's world title. To do that with a title that had effectively 0 lineage before him is unreal.
More than that though, the reign itself has just been incredible. Somehow, without basically any long term feuds (are the Kip story and the JJ/Lethal the only multi-week things he's had?), he's told one long cohesive story connecting the reign, while also making each individual match engaging and unique. We're watching him get more and more desperate, seeing more and more get taken out of him as the weeks pass. Injuries from old matches accumulate and stay consistent, and he's forced to find new ways of winning as opponents figure him out. Seeing the transition from winning with an Orange Punch, to multiple Orange Punches, to needing to pull out the mousetrap or other rollups, you can tell exactly where we are in his story.
And the matches themselves are all consistently great, to a kind of ridiculous degree. This man is being tasked with opening Dynamite basically every week, and somehow it's usually the most fun part of the show each time, in its own way. There's just so much variety to it. Wanna see him play babyface in peril to a monster? OC vs Big Bill. Wanna see him do a classic Memphis style match better than most? OC vs JJ. Wanna see him wrestle fucking Shibata with Mike Tyson on commentary? That's there too. What about a battle royale? Check there. Each one is different, each one showcases someone else and makes them look great, and each one is just so goddamn fun.
Who knows how it's gonna wrap up, or if we'll even continue to care about the IN title, but if it stays as AEW's workhorse belt, there's a great chance this goes down as one of THE AEW title reigns. Just think OC deserves his flowers for taking what could have been a nothing title and basically dragging it to relevancy. But I'm also an OC mark, so what do I know.

How long did it take for the extreme hungehypoglycemia/weakness to go away? I realise that electrolytes are important (sodium in particular, I suppose), but I imagine that a big part of the torture is also waiting to become fat adapted? How long does this period typically last and do you have any advice? I tried keto for 2 months last year. I was constantly hungry, but also experienced dry eyes, headaches and a sore neck. I suppose my electrolytes were still imbalanced and I need to improve it this time, although not sure exactly which one I needed more of. However, what worries me the most is the hunger and weakness. One of the main reasons I want to do keto is due to my constant hunger and issues with blood sugar regulation. If I don't eat every 2 hours, including a carb-heavy meal, I feel shaky and lightheaded and cannot cope. It also comes on suddenly. So, I think keto should help with this once fat adapted, right? But it's getting to that point...I am debating whether to start keto now or later, since I need to maintain some productivity this month. I'm a male in my 40s. I've forgiven my alcoholic stepfather for beating the hell out of me and mildly molesting me -- he used to hold me in a bear hug on his lap and kiss my neck and get a boner and wouldn't let me go for a long period, maybe 10-20 minutes each time.
I never told my mother about the boner and necking thing, but to this day she still insists that he was "just a stern disciplinarian" in regards to him beating me up. Maybe she never saw him insidiously punching me only in the stomach to take my wind, kicking me only in the stomach or asshole or tailbone and buttcheeks to avoid causing visible marks of bruising while inflicting lasting pain. Maybe he hid it that well. I don't know. As a kid I thought she knew and supported it, I thought everyone knew, so that's like 50 layers of onion to go through.
Due to his sneakiness that fucker almost got away with it until my father finally grilled me for flinching and/or pissing myself whenever he yelled at me in anger (he didn't hit me, so my reaction was suspect). I still remember CPS and the cops walking my stepfather out of the house in cuffs and him turning his head towards me and saying, "how could you do this to me, boy?" Shit, I felt bad about that one for some crazy reason until my late 20s. What a mind fuck.
My stepmother was just as bad, locking me in a small closet where I could only stand for hours while my step siblings and cousins played, or giving me just a bowl of lettuce for dinner when I was crying from hunger while everyone else got regular food, saying I needed to lose my "fat butt" (pictures from my youth show an emaciated kid, so no I wasn't overweight). She's dead now and hopefully standing in a small closet in hell with a bowl of skunk lettuce and hunger pangs.
I did choose to forgive them all for my own sanity, but it ain't always easy. The forgiveness dries out sometimes and I have to add water.
At 12 years old I finally snapped. I became ultra violent to make everyone afraid to mess with me. At home, in the neighborhood, at school, anyone showed the slightest bit of aggression and before I knew what I was doing I'd be swinging some blunt weapon within reach at their head (a pipe, a board, a brick, a desk, it didn't matter). I was trying to preemptively stave off any violence against me. It became a way of life, and before I knew it, it became my way of life. I had so much trauma-induced fear in my core that it didn't take much to flip my switch anywhere I went on anyone who aggressed me other than people younger or smaller than me, elders, or special needs folks. If you were substantial enough to be a physical threat, any aggression towards me was the same as taking a swing at me. I was basically just completely freaking out and had lost control from fear of being harmed more.
It took me till my 30s to undo what I'd become and to have some stability in my life, but I'm still fucked up from what I went through and from all of the fucked up things I did in my adolescence after I finally flipped out from the abuse. Most people think I'm a totally boring normal office job guy who can be an asshole once in a while, but I just learned to fit in and manage the damage for the most part. It's just the reaction to aggression that gives me away.
The way I explain it to my wife (who likes to badger me when she's cranky then gets mad when I react): in my childhood all of my skin was torn and cut and burned off of my body. In my young adulthood I grew protective scar tissue to allow me to function semi-normally in society. The scar-skin is very resilient overall, but when people are aggressive or passive aggressive with me it slices straight to the nerve. Any form of aggression has that effect...I can't endure it at all. I don't become violent anymore (I haven't thrown a punch since my mid 20s, which was self defense), but I do go into defense mode and my body language and voice show that I'm aggressively reacting.
This doesn't work well in society, because passive aggression and manipulation are considered acceptable behavior, and it's not acceptable to react to it aggressively. It makes the reacting person appear to be the aggressor and they become the asshole rather than the person who initiated the aggression. It's almost like a mental disability, honestly.
As a result of my aggression-thin skin, and it taking so long for me to get my life together, my aunts and uncles and cousins mostly think I'm a loser and an asshole. It doesn't matter that I put myself through college (yes via working and horrible loans), built a solid skill set and career for myself, and I support 3 well-adjusted and happy kids in a good middle class area. It doesn't occur to them that maybe my brother (who's in prison for murder) and I struggled as a result of our home life. To them, my brother and I are just bad apples, and our parents are sweet upstanding members of society.
Year after year, enduring that, especially with my stepfather being treated like a saint while I'm treated like an aberration, is very tiring on my soul.

So I am curious about the third category: those who write more fics than read other people's fics. Does such a category even exist?
I am the only fic author I know who isn't an avid fic reader. In fact, I am pretty sure that I have written more fics than I've read other people's fics.
I kinda feel guilty about that thinking how happy I get when people read my work while I don't bother reading other people's works - as in, give back to the community. Then again, with the same logic, those who only read should also feel guilty, which is absurd! Their existence really motivates the writers after all :)
So I am curious about your thoughts on that. Do you read at least as many fics as you write? (As in: am I the only weirdo out there? 😅) What are your thoughts about this? Is it wrong to write and put your fics out there while you never read other people's fics?

Illusion

Our series on combat skills concludes with Illusion, the skill of magical deception. Illusionists can create sights and sounds to befuddle their opponents and conceal their allies. This is a spellcasting skill, giving you access to the fire damage type for your spells.
Many actions granted by the Illusion skill have the Illusion tag. This tag means that a given action creates some image that is not physically present, so other characters might learn that it is fake by Investigating or through physical interaction. Some Illusions have different effects if the target knows they are not real.

Actions

As an Illusionist, your actions mainly center on control over your enemies. You have some damage-dealing options, and you can provide bonuses to your allies, but your main focus is all about manipulation. You fight best from the backline, keeping targets away from points of interest and in the middle of your allies' effective range. Many Illusion actions have no set duration, meaning you can keep them up as long as you can maintain concentration.
The abilities that best exemplify your role in combat are Lure and Repel. The former prevents enemies from leaving the area around it, while the latter does exactly the opposite, keeping foes away from its center. Decoy creates an illusory double of another character in the scene, forcing other characters to make a saving throw or confuse the illusion for the real thing. Shroud of Shadow and Wall of Light are a pair of vision-obstructing spells that hinder incoming attacks; the former provides partial cover in an area, while the latter blocks line of sight entirely.
As mentioned, you have a selection of damage-dealing actions, to allow you to keep up while maintaining your Illusions. Blinding Bolt is a standard spell attack that blinds the target on hit. Phantasm, meanwhile, creates an illusory creature that you can attack through, extending your reach and damage. While it is not a direct source of damage, you also have Barrier Shift (shared with the Pressure skill), which grants a target vulnerability to a type of damage of your choice.
Rounding out the set are some miscellaneous skills. Naturally, you have a way to grant Invisibility: the Conceal action, the only Invisibility action without a set duration, instead lasting as long as you can maintain concentration (though it ends early if the target takes certain actions). Dispel False Images is the anti-Illusion, suppressing both Illusions and Invisibility in an area. Finally, you have Imprison, one of only two ways to Stun an opponent without completely depleting their HP.

Equipment and Feats

Unsurprisingly, Illusion equipment is all about enhancing your spellcasting. You get the Spellsling, a light focus tied for the longest range of all focuses. This is a boon, since a few of your spells inherit the range of your equipped focus. You also get the Mirror Shield, which has the highest Magic Defense of all shields, though this comes at the cost of Evasion.
Your major feats are Tactile Illusion and Illusory Replacement. The former allows your Illusions to block movement and provide cover, which is especially potent with larger spells like Wall of Light. The latter is a one-per-scene reaction that allows you to reveal that what your opponent was fighting was actually an Illusion, and your real body was waiting safely a few spaces away, unseen.
Your minor feats are Mirror Stance and Motile Illusion. Mirror Stance creates a double of you that has a 50% chance to take an incoming attack for you. Motile Illusion lets you move your Illusions after you have created them, potentially giving you more use out of each cast.

I apologize as it's a bit of a novel and doesn't quite make grammatical sense in some spots. I can read goodly now and again lol. The reason it says M4R is because I mainly like women and trans women but I also like a very very very specific type of guy and certain trans men as I'm partially bi. Chances are you aren't that type but feel free to ask if you are. (Didn’t want to offend anyone so I’d rather say in private) Just throwing that out there as it's a deal breaker for most women. I'm a 35 year old guy living in the middle-ish of Texas looking for a female partner. Partner as in LTR. That's Long Term Relationship meaning boyfriend and girlfriend and holding hands type of stuff. You know, adult things? I had someone comment I was too vague so this is me being specific. I'm gonna be honest and kinda sad so bare with me.
So I spent New Years alone (I realize it's June lol but I have yet to meet someone and I think the story is still somewhat relevant). Rang in the New Year in bed staring at the ceiling listening to fireworks go off into the night. The next day I cried randomly while browsing for a movie to watch on TV. That's my own doing which took years to accomplish through me being closed off and just shutting people out, so I figure it might take just as long to fix. I'm not complaining as I got myself into this predicament. It's gonna sound dumb but I wanted a New Years kiss. I'd never had one and it seemed like a fun dumb silly thing to do. Eh maybe one day. Ok well back to my spiel. (I'm not depressed or anything or wanting attention) Some of my hobbies and interests are movies, reading, cooking, kayaking, records, video games, board games, snorkeling, bowling, swimming, escape rooms, puzzles and antiquing. I would describe myself as more goofy and dorky than nerdy. I like to go out and do fun things but also stay in and cuddle and relax. I guess it depends on my mood and the weather. My Girlfriend of 5 1/2 years was diagnosed with elevated prolactin. She began Cabergolin about three months ago .5mg 2x week. Over the past few weeks I have noticed drastic changes in her personality. She is becoming increasingly impulsive, deceptive and emotionally unstable.
