Hello, I installed windows and now, I reinstalled grub but, It reinstalled in my linux disk instead of my linux partition so, I installed it in the boot partition and now, by default my computer boots GRUB from the linux disk which is just able to boot windows as linux boot files are in the boot partition.
My bios doesn't let me change what I want to boot.
Right now, I boot into linux using a rescue file in my boot partition (When I want a command line, it redirects me to the boot partition

2023.06.03 15:54 ElasticoFish Overclock now unstable after I cleaned my PC
So, I cleaned my PC yesterday and this reset my bios settings. Now my old overclock (ryzen5 3600 4,4ghz 1.25v) is crashing when I run cinebench despite before it having run stable for over a year. Does anyone know what might have caused this and how to fix it. It is not a temperature issue as the CPU is only reaching 65 degrees before it crashes.

I am building a simple shopping cart app, when clicking on a button in ProductCard component, the dispatch function from the reducer is triggered. Whats happening is, when I click on some other card to add the item, instead of adding to the existing basket items, it just replaces it. I think this is happening because of the initArg in the useReducer but I'm not sure how to fix it.

i went to twitter for the first time, clicked on some random trending topics, and there's one thing that i noticed, there are alot of algerian accounts, that are solely dedicated to hating on morocco, and they have that in their bio ! and all they do is post anti moroccan stuff all the time.
then when u visit their page, u see they're often on algerian TV and news and stuff ! so these are public figures not just random people.
on another hand, i haven't seen any moroccan accounts like that, even the ones about culture (something that seems to drive algerians mad for some reason), they just mind their own business and post about moroccan stuff, meanwhile, algerian accounts about culture keep attacking morocco all the time for laughable reasons.
wtf is wrong with these people? and what could we do about it ?

The computer posts with No signal and I see a black screen until the windows lock screen then it works fine.
When I use my old video card and old monitor using HDMI I can see the bios fine.
I read about the problems with Nvidia cards needing firmware updates the port priorty favored HDMI and was a problem particularly on 2 monitor setups.
My problem is I have only one monitor connected and its through Displayport and I have an old SSD as my windows OS drive its MBR so I have to use CSM and UEFI+Legacy.
I am hoping that putting my BIOS into all UEFI might solve it?
I have updated the BIOS firmware to the latest one from MSI.
I wonder if I can solve this by backing up my drive, converting my SSD from MBR to GPT and trying to turn off CSM so its all UEFI. Otherwise I'm stumped its a Radeon card and I read about Nvidia cards getting firmware upgraded to solve this issue but nothing for Radeon.

Im having a problem with ABL. On start of the G-code I use G29 to level my bed and store it in memory for a print, but when actual printing starts bed is not leveled and have to do it manualy using springs. Any idea what can couse this trouble? One solution is to flesh a new marlin and see if that helps, but I want to leave this option as last one.

Hello, I am in need of some help with some issues I’ve been having over the last two or three months.
I built my computer in April 2022, and it worked amazing up until the last couple of months. At random times the computer would completely shut off and try to do so 2-3 times before actually making it to an on screen. I didn’t have the time to deal with it at that point but I recently changed out the PSU because I assumed maybe it was faulty. After swapping out the PSU for a new one, now it does not shut off randomly, but it freezes randomly. When it freezes it is a complete freeze where my computer locks up, and I cannot use my peripherals or other applications on the desktop until I hard reset. In response to the new freezing, I completely reset my PC and started from scratch hoping to fix it that way but still encountered the same issues. Finally, last night I updated BIOS to the most recent version thinking that would help as well, but unfortunately that did not do the trick.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Was mostly in and out of the game (Coz of studies) and whenever I tried to surpass Div 2 it just never worked. Mostly got frustrated because my team never worked how it was supposed to and just your everyday rage when one of your players make a mistake (Or as most of u call it, Scripting). This week I decided to actually try to reach Div 1 because well why not??? (and also because we have vacation) So this is my team that helped me reach my goal of Div 1 https://preview.redd.it/ffki063vks3b1.jpg?width=1480&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bed58f030a903fa8e884af415f01baf6edc2e9b0 PS: THE FORMATION IS THIS WEEK'S PORTUGAL NATIONAL TEAM'S DEFAULT FORMATION AN OVERALL VIEW OF HOW I PLAYED AND DETAILED REVIEW ON MY PLAYERS: So first of all I would like to start by thanking the KONAMI GODS for being kind to me for this week's POTW. I pulled Hole Player Messi and DLF Griezmann on my free pulls and got Majer, Musiala, and Lautaro on my other 3 pulls. So talking about how I played my TEAM PLAYSTYLE is Quick Counter which was made for this formation. The key pivotal members were Pedri, Bruno, Majer and Musiala for this to work (Detailed Player Analysis later down). When Pedri and Bruno got the ball, the primary objective was to pull the fullback towards thereby allowing the darting run of my AMFs (Because hole players :)) allowing them to either go all the way and score (both are very proficient in it) or cut back to Batigol who will score the tap in. If the full backs of the opposing team catch up I just pass it back to the midfielders who will be in close vicinity because of their playstyles (Bruno because of hole player and Pedri because of unactivated) whereby I send my fullbacks up by one touch go ( The passing and flicking of the movement pad {just made up the word on the spot}) who supports my AMFs by either giving them more space to run inside or they themselves crossing the ball. So this is a vague way of how and why this team worked beautifully. Onto the detailed Player Analysis: Batistuta : Got him on a free pull when the Argentina Pack (I am FTP) came out and he just never clicked until this formation. The Fox in the Box was made for this Formation. He helps in the build up by staying just in front of the defenders and when the AMFs are near the penalty box he creates space to be able to tap it in. Also an amazing header of the ball when I use my full backs to cross. Overall the perfect striker I could have asked for this formation. Musiala : The boy who crushed the hopes of millions of people rooting for Marco Reus to win the Bundesliga rightfully got a POTW and boy is he good! His most notable attribute that helps this formation is the fact that he has an amazing acceleration for an AMF which helps him safely reach the final third safely more times than not. Also a quick double touch will easily help you get past the defender if timed perfectly thereby leaving u with the option to shoot or square it to your striker. If there was one thing I hate about this card, it would be his week foot usage being almost never, and thereby not able to curl when coming from the right flank. Majer : I would call him the man for the job. Like Mimo said his stats are almost perfectly distributed for an AMF and he plays exactly like that. A sweet left foot which again helps me in this formation to square it or in Majer's case score a satisfying outside curler with his boot. Again, the double touch has proved me useful more than once thus perfectly fitting into my team. Bruno : All I can say is that this man fits this like my final piece in a 11 piece puzzle. My most experimented position when I tried this formation but this man saved me from experimenting. I'd say the main reason why he works so well is the fact that he is a hole player and also that his passing abilities are crazy. His through passing helps Musiala get into the perfect place to execute the next stage of my plan. Pedri : The way this guy gets past people through only analog stick dribbling is amazing. Get the ball, bring the fullback close to you, quick feet to get past him and a weighted pass into the foot of Majer and repeat. Also if there is too much pressure on him, this guy casually just does a quick one two and there he is again ..... exactly where I want him. My second favorite NC card easily (very close with Rudi). The only slight problem which everyone knows about is his finishing but once u use his lack of finishing to your advantage by linking up with others, then you have a beast in your team. Tchouaméni : Plays like IRL Busquets imo (With slightly better defending and physicality). The guy who links my defence to the attack, this guy does no mistakes. Very smooth on the ball considering he is a DMF, playing the perfect pass into my CMFs and accurately intercepts almost all the passes through the center, this guy does it all. Pavard : The ever reliable Free Pavard. A literal brick on the right flank of my defensive third. Crazy how KONAMI decided to give one of the most OP right backs in the game for free. This guy just does it all. The surprising thing about this card is that he comes forward more times than not. Is always near Bruno to help him out to link with Musiala. He himself has a fairly decent cross in him if that question arises. Rüdiger : The best NC card this game has shelled out imo and boy am I thankful that I took him. Has never left my team since I got him and yeah just an amazing defender. Has the pace, defending, physicality all locked in and just the perfect man to have in defence. Ramos : Imma come clean here. I don't have a higher rated defender in my team. Lost Van Dijk and De ligt to contract expiry ( Hopefully get De ligt in this week's Bayern CS). I'd say a decent defender who is caught out of position once or twice but overall is a decent partner to Rudi. The one moment where I was thankful that I have him was when I desperately needed a last minute winner. The bar was at very attacking and this man casually comes all the way to the goal ( Because of his playstyle: Extra Frontman) and scores a header to win me the game. Nuno Mendes : Just a fast bloke who helps me out in attacking by linking up with Majer and Pedri. Does a decent job in defending. There in my team because he is the best I have and would say he is fairly decent for an NC. Handanović : A fairly good keeper imo. Above average against almost all types of shots. Considering my preferred GK type is defensive goalkeeper because I can use them not coming forward to my advantage by manipulating my opponents by bringing them halfway forward and them misplacing their shots. Škriniar : This man is only there to replace my Rudi if needed. Fairly similar profile except this guy has better defending which he traded for his pace. Wijnaldum : An all round midfielder to help me solidify my lead in the dying moments of the game. Zambo Anguissa : A solid option if my Tchouaméni is on bad form. Also has surprisingly come in clutch for me in a match or two. De Paul : Another CMF hole player who comes on as a sub for Bruno. The only reason Bruno makes the team over him is because of the difference in passing abilities. De Arrascaeta : An amazing super-sub for Musiala. Has very good attacking stats which helps if a last minute goal is needed. Messi : Didn't try him out much but he performs decent when he has come on for Majer. The massive nerf is a let down but happy to just have him in the squad. Toney : Understandably, he is there for my Batigol if he is in bad form or in the dying moments to get me the goal. Hello, I’ve recently built my Pc and it’s stuck in a power cycle, it does boot but I have to either hold the power button or keep pressing it. EZ debug shows me three lights when I try to boot which hunts to a DRAM issue, I’ve tried to boot with fresh sticks of the same ram and even a completely different ram, these both didn’t work. I’ve tried using a different kettle plug, updating bios to latest version, running a cpu software to check if it’s a cpu issue. I’m stumped, any help would be appreciated!

Hello, I am in need of some help with some issues I’ve been having over the last two or three months.
I built my computer in April 2022, and it worked amazing up until the last couple of months. At random times the computer would completely shut off and try to do so 2-3 times before actually making it to an on screen. I didn’t have the time to deal with it at that point but I recently changed out the PSU because I assumed maybe it was faulty. After swapping out the PSU for a new one, now it does not shut off randomly, but it freezes randomly. When it freezes it is a complete freeze where my computer locks up, and I cannot use my peripherals or other applications on the desktop until I hard reset. In response to the new freezing, I completely reset my PC and started from scratch hoping to fix it that way but still encountered the same issues. Finally, last night I updated BIOS to the most recent version thinking that would help as well, but unfortunately that did not do the trick.
Any ideas or suggestions?

- For a friend, who hopes to play graphically demanding AAA games smoothly in 3440 x 1440 175Hz, with Ultra settings and perhaps ray tracing.
Build Budget:
- Main Tower: 4,000 USD
- No peripherals or monitors needed for now.

- Hong Kong, no Microcenter, but we have similar retailers that provide similar products and services.
- Parts are mostly available here, but prices might differ from where you live. Please feel free to share your ideal list disregarding the local prices since they fluctuate a bit. The current budget covers this and is flexible.
- The current build costs around 4,200 USD in my area, but purchasing locally is quite necessary due to warranty restrictions, since most if not all products will not be eligible for support if I purchase them overseas. The adjusted 4,000 USD budget is based on the US prices.

- AMD 7800X3D is selected for the relatively lower TDP and good gaming performance. From my understanding, an updated BIOS would greatly lower the risk of the CPU failings recently reported.
- Looking for a large case with good noise isolation, maybe one with an emphasis on low noise levels. Low-noise cooling solutions. White or light grey case and parts are preferred. No fancy lighting required, but won't mind if customizable and tasteful.
- Looking for the max performance out of the budget, but also trying to push for a mostly-white build to a certain degree. Aiming for a balance setup that would work well together, and parts that doesn't push too far into the diminishing returns territory.

Not sure what settings in bios I can use to fix this, temps are 34c and 60c boost. After it boosts for 15 seconds it throttles to 2.1ghz and never boosts again until I restart PC
I reset bios, pulled CMOS battery, tried optimized defaults. But problem still persists. I'm not sure what else I could try to stop it from dropping it's boost clock. I even ran all settings default.
I tried reinstalling bios also, but nothing is fixing this. Any ideas would be appreciated

I do Desktop Support and have my hands tied with troubleshooting end users having audio issues. Our systems people setup the VDI using VMWare vSphere, the software and configuration works great... Except for Avaya softphone, the specific software being used is Avaya One-X Agent as the pre-installed software, as Desktop Support I can't really do much troubleshooting, even we're restricted from doing any changes to software (install/uninstall), admin settings are restricted to us, but are expected to resolve VDI related issue.
Users are given Dell Thin Clients, different models, USB provided headsets (Poly Blackwire), if it matters, Thin Client FW versions have not resolved issues. We have from 8.6 to 9.3 and the issue happens on any FW. We shut the thin clients wireless capabilities off at the BIOS level, users are required to hardwire themselves at home. So to the specifics on issue: 1. Employees can hear the person over the phone but the person over the phone can't hear the employee.
Some things that we (at desktop support) have troubleshooted: 1. Sounds are not being muted, gain levels on the Avaya software are set correctly.

- Our employees are heard with some "static" to the people over the phone. This can happen immediately on the call of after a few minutes. Ending the call and reinitiating will usually fix the issue.

- Reset/restore on VMWare Self-Support for the Avaya software.
- Ruled out users are using multiple devices or smart devices on their home network.
- ISP speeds don't seem to matter, or their speed, we've had COAX and Fiber users experience the same issues, people from 1Gig Down/Up or 1G Down 24 Up.

Hi everyone, just wanted to put this on here to see what everyone thinks. Yesterday, I was idle on my pc watching videos when I got a BSOD error code ‘pfn_list_corrupt’. After researching for a while I came across a forum stating it could be faulty ram. To check this I used windows memory diagnostics tool and got status message stating ‘hardware problems were detected’ after searching that online I came across Microsoft forums where support reckons its faulty/dying ram. After that, I did the test one more time but now the status states ‘No problems detected’. I’m not sure if it’s the ram or not but now when my pc does go to show the BSOD it completely switches off my whole entire computer and does nothing. After a few attempts at booting it gives me a boot error screen and tells me to either reset optimised defaults or continue to bios. Could it be a bad overclock with XMP? I’ve never fiddled with the timings or anything just enabled XMP and left it like that. Or is the RAM on its way out? If anyone can help that would fantastic.

Hello, I was wondering what are the expected Time Spy scores for RTX 3080 10GB Suprim X with Stock settings on Gaming Bios. I bought the card from someone that on 99% mined on it for around 2 years and was wondering if the card performance degraded. At first the card ran very hot, especially on memory so I sent it to MSI for RMA, they swapped thermalpads, thermal paste and probably the whole cooling system (fans are brand new, fins seem to be perfectly straight where before some were bent, and the backplate has no scratches like before), core temperature went down around 5°C and memory temperature around 15°C. So the card except for the pcb seems to be new. Now I am wondering about the performance of the card, as there are only few tests of this card on internet and their scores are different, also their tests are done differently some seem to use Silent Bios, others use bench table instead of a pc case etc.

So used the OTA update on the Miyoo mini plus, however encountered a few problems. I lost all my save data, all my games have been reset. My game switcher does not work. And all my Bios files have been deleted. Most important thing though, anyone know how to get my save data back, that’s the huge problem?

As the title says for some reason by default (even on fullscreen) D4 doesn't lock your cursor in the game, so if you click off the game into a 2nd monitor your performance will tank.
This can be very easy to do once things get hectic and also hard to realise your doing it because you can be clicking so fast all about the place its easy to click off screen one second then back in the next causing a massive performance drop for that small bit of time you where not focused on the game. Both my partner and friend I was playing with last night where having strange performance loss for the first few hours till I realised what was happening. I noticed the option before playing when I setting up my Graphics settings but forgot to mention it.
