i know that lying is wrong, i know that what i did was wrong. but i never lie to anyone else, just to my fucking parents. they cut off my health insurance 3 times, they drained $1300 from my bank account and left me with only $50 when i was 1 week away from being evicted from my dorm. now i'm begging them to get the car back, and for them to reinstate my health insurance, but i wasn't ABLE to get the job that i said that i had earlier - they rescinded their offer because im underage and they didn't notice earlier. i was terrified that they would call me a "lazy ingrate" or "the most horrible person i've ever met" like they did last time, so i decided that they couldn't know, so just now i was literally editing my offer emails with inspect element, copying image addresses, creating fake timestamps and fake names.
i hate how i have to do this. i hate how my dad knows that she literally erases her memories of the bad things she's done in the past, but is too spineless to leave her. he only makes excuses and tells me that i "can't blame her" for the fact that she's literally "very likely to be a narcissist, and clearly has very low levels of empathy and compassion" (from my previous therapist). he only says that i need to be "more patient" with this horrible shit, but then he chastises me for objecting to getting SCREAMED AT for FOUR HOURS because i made a fucking sandwich "wrong", on account of me being autistic. i don't give a fuck if she "looked out for me", she has NO understanding that other people can feel bad about things and that their perspectives matter (I FUCKING ASKED AND SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T), and she constantly laughs at me when i'm crying, and then she fucking claims that she DIDN'T, when my dad and siblings were RIGHT FUCKING THERE and they SAW IT.
i'm just so fucking tired and i'm seriously thinking of sacrificing my plans to live in a college dorm next year off of my scholarship, and choose to get a cash refund instead, just so i can get enough money to cut off my parents whenever i want. i know i'll never get back the wasted years, but im almost incapable of being stretched to this fucking limit anymore. i can't even stay with my parents for more than 3 hours without screaming, they've cut off my phone plan 2 times and health insurance 3 times - how the fuck am i supposed to trust that they're going to let me have insurance for the next year??

I’m 39 and have ADHD and sensory processing disorder- diagnosed with autism spectrum condition last year.
After a very difficult year involving a string of major betrayals, my parents offered me to move in with them for as long as I needed while I heal and work on my stress levels. It was a mutually beneficial situation as they are struggling financially, and I was drowning from the stress of the year and being a single mom. They framed it as they would be helping me with things to reduce my stress levels and I’d be helping them financially. So far, it’s felt quite the opposite.
I moved in a month ago, and it’s been tough. I find myself being extremely defensive and almost on guard non stop since I’ve moved in. I’m losing my hair more (typical stress response for me). I’m not sure what’s causing it. It’s typical for me to have large emotional responses without knowing the root cause. What I mean is, I’m not sure if the emotional response I’m having is warranted or am I overreacting?
Here’s the main issue, and it probably sounds silly but my mom is the main source of my tension and the biggest issue is she is constantly second guessing every decision I make. If I say I’m going to do xyz, she always will follow up with “are you sure you don’t want to do abc instead?” She’s been like this my whole life and for some reason it enrages me. I’ve tried talking to her about it and explaining why it bothers me but she just starts crying and turns it back in a way that makes me feel horribly guilty. Followed by like 3 days of silent treatment. Sometimes my dad will even be on her side telling me to stop being so sensitive and when that happens, it feels like two against one- and that’s another thing that is very triggering for me.
I’m very upset because I gave up a lot to move in here and I’m kindof stuck for at least a year. It’s hard feeling like you don’t have any safe space to turn to because I feel like everyone in my life says they want to help but instead they just take from me and I’m not allowed to have any boundaries. And I’m certainly not allowed to stick up for myself.
All of this is making me feel so alone in this world. I have no partner, I’ve isolated from friendships, and now I can’t even get along with my parents. I don’t know how to fix it. Therapy has been historically not helpful for me (telling me to journal and excercise more doesn’t really help much). So I guess I’m here trying to find out if I’m…

I have a "newer" 2450 Commercial treadmill. The one with the larger, 22" screen. From the factory, it is running Android 11.
When I initially attempted to get various apps running on this device, I sort of ham-fistedly ran through some of the commands in the unchained script. I never actually ran the script itself. I had a very uneven experience with the iFit app itself including:

1. Being unable to login.
2. Content not loading at all.
3. No treadmill-specific content seeming to be available.
4. Repeated prompts to allow permissions to a USB Device (later versions of iFit ask for permission to Generic HID).
5. Later versions of iFit not allowing any Treadmill control, regardless of permissions being granted.

Following another helpful discussion here with xkelly999 and brentl99 (I didn't get the "99" in your username memo, sorry), I decided to factory reset and try to be a little more methodical about testing what does and doesn't work for my specific treadmill.
A factory reset left me with the following apks:

• com.ifit.eru-2.1.0.1225.apk
• com.ifit.launcher-1.0.17.22
• com.ifit.standalone-2.6.81.4118.apk
• MemfaultBort.apk (probably a red herring, but it came up in the list as com.ifit.bort, so I pulled it just in case).

These versions required me to use the getresponsecode.com generator, it is not pinless, even after a factory reset. I then disabled the admin app's ability to change system settings.
I blocked updates at a DNS level, as well as via the iFit Secret Menu. Interestingly, I noticed that going to Settings -> Maintenance in iFit showed an update available, despite the DNS blocks. Clicking this "Update Available" link pushed me into iFit Admin, where I was presented with a progress bar and an "Updating" screen. That progress bar never moved (likely due to the DNS block). Further, in iFit Amin - Secret Options -> Preview Updates, It showed me the pending updates to both iFit (com.ifit.standalone), and iFit Admin (com.ifit.eru).
At this point, with access to Priveleged Mode, I went ahead and enabled Developer Options, USB Debugging, and connected the treadmill to Wifi. I pulled the "stock" APKs via ADB, and created the .wolfDev directory. I then set about to update the iFit apps to see if I'd lose access or anything.
After unblocking DNS and updating, I have the following APKs (changed):

• com.ifit.eru-2.1.1.1227.apk
• com.ifit.standalone-2.6.85.4363.apk

Without rebooting, I can still toggle Privileged Mode via the standard 10-7-10 tap sequence. The iFit app connects to their web interface. I see treadmill related exercises (to be clear I do not have an iFit subscription), and the treadmill itself works WITHOUT any sort of permissions prompting.
Following a reboot, I had the same permissions. Privileged Mode was still enabled. I could swipe up and get myself to the Android desktop. Treadmill worked without USB/Generic HID prompts.
I'll stop here, for now. I haven't installed nova/alternative launcher. I haven't installed any other streaming apps. Reading through the unchained script, I'm assuming the only commands that could have ultimately caused my previous problems lie in first three commands:

I'm not sure what differences are created when you disable the "native" com.ifit.standalone, and then install (what you would think is) the same apk linked from the wiki, via ADB or whatever other method. I would think there is no difference, but for some reason, in my case, there appeared to be.
I hope this helps somebody else in the future, but if nothing else, I've at least got my own sequence sort of worked out here. brentl99 I want to thank you, again, for all your efforts here. It's a lot of work to keep this information updated. Even typing this single post was a hassle.

I am 23M and have done my engineering in ECE from a tier-3 college in West Bengal. As of now, I work as a data scientist in Kolkata, I have around 2.5 YOE and getting paid around 13LPA. But I want to be the best in what I do and crack data scientist positions at FAANG companies. To proceed with this goal below are the thing I am working on,

1. Probability and statistics: I am following stat-110 from Harvard and Joseph K. Blitzstein's Introduction to Probability book. I find this course a bit difficult but practical. As both the book and lecture are from the same person so they align together and I am being able to grasp the concepts. But the exercise from this book is a bit hard, so I struggle but eventually, everything makes sense. As of now, I can solve easy(sometimes medium too!) probability questions from FAANG interviews.
   
2. Machine Learning questions: I am not much scared of this portion as I can comfortably answer most of the easy and medium questions, sometimes I struggle with hard questions but I think a little bit more self-play and I will be good to go! I try to understand every algorithm from a mathematical POV, let's say there is a new concept of the transformer (which is the major part of chatGPT), so here to learn the concept I first read the paper, and then try to implement it from scratch. I try to dig deep and try to understand what is happening under the hood, sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail, but eventually I try to learn. I love Machine learning and learning is fun here! The same goes for Algorithms such as Logistic regression, GBDT etc. Credit: I find ML easy just because of one organization, the applied ai course. The instructor is the best.
   
3. Data structures and Algorithms: I am learning from an algo-expert, I also know the basics of DSA but am not an expert. I am trying to level up my skills here, I got to know that solving medium leet-code questions will be more than enough to crack data science at FAANG. Is it true?
   

Now I have a few questions, am I going in the right direction? Am I missing anything?

On April 30th, I was diagnosed with CHS after going through a severe episode of hyperemisis. At the point of my diagnoses, I had been a daily user (dabs, joints, vapes, and edibles) for nearly 6 years. My electrolyte levels were critically low and my kidney was in the beginning stages of failure. After getting my diagnoses, I immediately quit cold turkey.
Days 1-3 were incredibly difficult. I had no appetite, extreme anxiety, and no energy whatsoever. Around day 4 my appetite returned and I was once again eating solid foods. By day 5 I was sleeping normal, the anxiety was gone, and my energy levels were returning to normal. As soon as my energy levels returned and I was eating solid foods, I started going to the gym and getting daily exercise.
I’m currently on day 35 and I can’t believe how fast and easy my recovery was. I believe my recovery had a lot to do with exercise and changing up my diet. I’ve been going to the gym consistently anywhere from 4-6 days a week. My workouts consist of intense weight lifting and 45 mins - 1 hour of cardio.
Around a month after quitting cold turkey I even smoked a small amount (0.1-0.2 grams) out of my dry herb vaporizer and the high was amazing! I know I can never go back to smoking daily so I’m only smoking once every 2-3 weeks and only in very small amounts with low potency flower. My cravings are gone and I’ve never felt better. If you’re going through a tough recovery, drink lots of water, and EXERCISE! I can’t believe how much it helped me in my recovery. God bless everyone and I hope my story can aid some of you in your recovery.

I am no programmer but i think adding the "LUH-O451S-WEU" to the models should do the trick. It's basically the same device except for a different plug, for as much as i can tell.
The Custom Integration itself references the pyvesync Library. I have tried copying the modified python file vesyncfan.py into the directory in which the integration resides, and changing this line inside the __init__.pyfile of the integration: from pyvesync.vesync import VeSyncto look for the file. But no matter if i used relative or absolute paths it wouldn't find it. At this point i don't know what to do, it seems simple enough, and i believe submitting a PR to the official repo is a bit unnecessary. Nor do i know how to do a PR properly.
Maybe someone here knows how to reference the forked/locally stored file and load it correctly. If it doesn't work then well, either i submit a Request to add the Device or find a way to loop it through other platforms, although I'd prefer not to.

I chose Agnes as my investigator, playing true solo on easy. I fear I may have rushed through building my deck because I later realized I didn't take any neutral cards, i.e. staple skill cards. But I figured I had enough other useful cards to help shore up Agnes's weaknesses. For combat, I had Shrivelling and Dragon Pole, and some spells and survivor cards to help with finding clues.
Lost Moorings: I don't remember too much about this one other than it wasn't too difficult even though I didn't get quite everything at the end. I really liked the concept of the creature that grabs you and tries to drag you back into the water. It actually saved me a move action at one point so I couldn't complain. I do remember being pretty confused after I came across the first non-Euclidean location. I understood what the key word was saying but couldn't quite figure out why it was making me put clues on the card from the token pool just to read an interlude entry. I think this location needs to be reworked or better worded to explain what's going on. If it's just to introduce players to the non-Euclidean mechanic, I think there's better ways to go about it.
Going Twice: This is where I started having problems. I chose to find another way inside and managed to get a couple of the auction items fairly easily. However I wasn't paying attention to the act deck and advanced it well after acquiring all the clues I needed. This cost me at least a couple of rounds. I got swarmed by enemies after acquiring the maguffin and ended with a point of physical trauma. What little experience I earned I spent on 2 each of Divination and Earthly Serenity to make me slightly better at finding clues and dealing with damage.
Private Lives: This one went okay? I got a slow start without any means to reliably find clues. I spent most of the time wacking enemies which seemed to spawn almost every round. I accidentally spawned the wrong Tick Tock Men after the agenda advanced, but after reviewing both of them I don't think it would have made much of a difference. I dealt with them in a single round and moved on. Doom kept building up on the agenda and I managed to find three out of the five objectives before resigning at the entrance.
Crumbling Masonry: Got a good start on this one, with Divination in my starting hand. I snatched up the clue and got Luther on my side and proceeded to snatch up several more clues pretty quick. I took out two of the three traitors pretty quick, but got bogged down towards the end and was forced to resign or risk dooming out. Luther survived so there's that.
Across Dreadful Waters: This one came down to the wire in a couple of spots, but I ended up walking away with a fair amount of experience and a good resolution. The Cult Ambushers were particularly difficult because I waited 'til the last minute to go into their location and it took some careful move planning to take them out. Contrarily, for the next stop/act I just sat and waited for the Deep One Mob to show up at my location and burned a round bludgeoning them to death with my Dragon Pole. An upgraded Peter Sylvester made the last location less harrowing, letting him heal a horror every round. Still, by the end there was barely 1 move to spare and I didn't exactly waste a lot of time putting clues on the act. If I was playing an investigator that couldn't readily handle both combat and investigating, this scenario would probably end in failure at the very end. Regardless, I'll take whatever wins I can get.
At this point I feel like I'm just barely doing bad enough to stay under the enemy radar. I'm not earning quite enough experience/notice to add any countermeasures into the scenarios, which I guess means I'm doing well? I guess we'll see.
Blood From Stones: Got a slow start. The first agenda advanced before I had gotten many clues on the story cards. I killed the Barrier Architect easily enough, then the pace started slowly picking up. Shortly after the second agenda advanced, I managed to seal two tablets with a single action. The third was surprisingly easy to get with some of the location effects. I may have had time to get another victory point on a location card, but I didn't want to risk it. Overall I'd say this scenario is desceptively easy. It sets you up at the beginning with what seem like complicated tasks, and then as you explore you find easier ways to deal with them.
I don't want to single Cyclopean Foundations out for this (because this is a reoccurring issue when it comes to true-solo) but there just doesn't seem to be enough actions in any given scenario to reliably comlete your objectives. Wasting even a single round on dealing with a test can lead to failing the scenario or missing out on a significant amount of experience. CF has sort of shined a spotlight on this issue, so it inspired me to make a houserule for true-solo. I won't go into too much detail here because it's a little complex, but on average it gives me an extra round per agenda.
Pyroclastic Flow: Everything here went pretty smooth right up 'til the end. For the first part I had the right cards at the right time to deal with every test. The second part was a little more complicated, but I was still making regular progress getting one clue per round. It wasn't until the Spawn of Cthulhu... um... spawned that I had trouble. One of the traitors was still alive so I had to deal with him as well. This distracted me from getting clues and I didn't realize the ability on the central location until it was too late. Even with the new houserule, I didn't have enough time to complete the final objective. But I chalk this up to my own inexperience and will probably have an easier time when next I play this.
Still, I got a decent amount of experience and 1 mental trauma for Agnes isn't a big deal. I'm spending it all on upgrading both Divinations. I haven't seen really any locations with more than two clues on them, but having extra resources on Divination to deal with more locations will probably help with getting through the last scenario. This is where the campaign throws me a curve ball and says I can't use assets to gather clues or something.
Tomb of Dead Dreams: Well I guess I can sum this up as a glorious convoluted mess of a scenario. It will definitely warp your mind trying to make sense and keep track of all of the mechanics in play.
I got a pretty slow start to begin with. I didn't draw any of my clue finding tools at the start and burned a couple of rounds fruitlessly trying to draw for them. Eventually I was forced to make do with what little I had, which consisted of a single Look What I Found! I spent it getting the first clue to at least open up a couple of locations, which I came to find had the same shroud value as the first. Having to use my 2 investigate on multiple 3 shroud locations was not my idea of a good time.
Finally I drew a Divination and thing soon got back on track. With enemies spawning and being dispatched seemingly every round and granting me a clue each time, I soon revealed enough locations to advance the act. Cthulhu was already breaking through reality at this point, but I was testing with a willpower of 9+ each round to evade him, so he wasn't too much trouble.
What was giving me trouble were the weaknesses I drew. Dark Memory sat in my hand throughout the rest of the scenario, and I was having to find creative spots to dump horror on. Peter Sylvestre helped out here quite a bit.
When I managed to reach the pillars, level 4 Divination made short work of them. Turns out I chose wisely when upgrading those. Even with enemies spawning every round and having to constantly evade Cthulhu, I somehow managed to take each of them out relatively quickly, netting me a win for both the scenario and the campaign.
Wrapping up the epilogue, I earned a total of 11 notice. Not once did this ever get high enough for me to see the countermeasure mechanic. And somehow, even after botching at least two of the scenarios and barely breaking even in several others, I managed to get what appears to be the best ending.
Final thoughts: Any critiques I have are minor and mostly revolve around the limitations of true-solo so I'll try to avoid mentioning those. Things that stuck out to me, most of the enemies I encountered were either hunters or enemies that were too much of a threat to leave on the board. While thematically appropriate, this makes me wonder if investigators that rely on avoiding enemies would be able to last for very long.
I also don't recall there being very many locations with more than 1 clue on them. With many of my cards geared towards finding multiple clues at once, this slowed things down a bit.
Out of Murkey Darkness is a treachery that popped up quite often, but it never actually had any effect. All of the deep one and hybrid enemies spawned right on top of me and evading them was never really much of an option so I just took them out then and there. So multiple times I just let this (sometimes two of them) sit in my threat area since it wasn't really doing anything.
Overall, this is a fantastic campaign, at least on par with the official ones. I plan on going through it again and probably make this one of my regular go-tos. Next time I want to try to see how a seeker manages. I'm thinking either Daisy or Norman.

I wanted to make a wisdom based warlock. This is because my DM said that not only did he allow it, he wanted someone to try it after seeing another post mentioning it on here. I played a high Wis character way back when, and I had a lot of fun with the RP. I had been wanting to try it again, but I don't like full-casters, and rangers are boring + monks were too SAD for my low rolls. After the DM had stated that he wanted someone to play a wislock in his next campaign. I want to make a sort of glass cannon build based around swords. We start at level 3 with a starting feat. I really like the idea of using elven accuracy on a half-elf, and I would like the first three levels to be Hexblade. I also rolled very high for my stats. (Only 1 ability score that is below 10) thanks in advance!

What I learned
1.. Level 1-30

• don't sell items, just salvage. You will need the mats later
• upgrade jewelry to rank 3. They seem to take longer to replace and drop less frequently.

2.. Level 30-49

• 50% salvage / 50% sell for gold. When inventory is full I can sell item for 100k-200k gokd
• keep about $500k gold at all times
• Every 3-4 levels upgrade your highest item power item to rank 3. It will take longer to replace.
