2023.05.29 12:18 dastriderman Day trip recommendations in the bay area

My family originally planned for a socal trip this upcoming week (both having booked PTO) but with my 10 month old daughter being extremely anti-baby seat, we decided to do a last min pivot - instead of the 6-8 hours drive to socal n staying out of town for 3 or so nights, now we are looking to plan a few day trips around the bay area.
Hence this post - seeking yall’s input on some good places to go w a baby who doesn’t do well with long drives: we are thinking max ~3 hrs one way. We would be departing from San Jose and welcome all suggestions..! Thank you :)

2023.05.29 12:12 Strong-Spirit-490 I’m turning myself in Wednesday for a two year sentence and I have a few questions.

What are some things I can be prepared for? The charge is “harassment of a public servant.” Considered non violent. Up for parole after 6 months and I have 1.5 banked already. Have a few questions.
1) I want to write a girlfriend of mine, but she’s worried her father will see that it’s from prison on the envelope. Anyone know how it’s addressed when you send a letter?
2) I plan on reading a LOT. Would appreciate any book recommendations that would help me mentally escape from the situation.
3) Anyone who has made parole, what does the parole board look for? Obviously show remorse, any other tips?
4) I’ve done a month prior to this and it was relatively easy. I’ve heard state jail is better than county. Can anyone tell me if that’s true or false? And if so what makes it bette worse.
5) As a non violet offender with misdemeanors on my record, what are my odds of getting parole after 6 months? I know that all cases aren’t the same but guess for me…
I will be in Texas Department of Corrections if that helps anyone give a more specific answer.
Thank you all for reading and any questions answered are appreciated. If I don’t get parole 2 years seems like a lot. Having a hard time with it mentally.
Also don’t come to Texas. Down here we say “come for vacation stay for probation.”
Again thank you for your time.

I'm mostly interested in Japanese culture, nature, history, and art. Here's my first, rough itinerary. Any feedbacks are welcome, thanks in advance!
It'll be in late July, and since many people say Japanese summer can be unbearable - well, So I'll be sure to bring an umbrella and a bunch of drinks, and bring moisture-wicking clothes / other summer wear to defend myself from the heat.

Do you consider this form good?
Hey guys , Im filling the SS4 pdf form and honestly , I wanted to put the physical adress in Argentina since I dont wanna be taxed for being an USA based business... but I saw that in Stripe I have to put an adress in the USA and they check the relation between the papers and my filling.

So , if in the physical adress of the item 5 I put Wyoming but in the 6 I put Argentina , will they send it back to me in order to correct it because it doesnt match? Or my example is a perfect way to dodge the US based tax treatment?
