2023.05.30 09:31 BeepkartBlog How to Sell Your Used Bike for Maximum Profit

Selling a used bike can be a great way to make some extra cash or upgrade to a new model. To maximize your profit, there are a few key steps you should take when selling your used bike.
  1. Clean and Maintain Your Bike: Before selling your bike, take the time to thoroughly clean and maintain it. This includes washing the frame, wheels, and drivetrain, as well as checking the brakes and gears to ensure they are working properly. A clean and well-maintained bike will attract more buyers and command a higher price.
  2. Determine a Fair Price: Research the current market value of similar used bikes to determine a fair price for your own. You can check online marketplaces like eBay or Craigslist, or consult with local bike shops or cycling enthusiasts. Be sure to take into account the condition of your bike, its age, and any modifications or upgrades you have made.
  3. Take High-Quality Photos: When advertising your bike for sale, be sure to take high-quality photos that show off its best features. Take photos from multiple angles, including the front, side, and back, as well as close-ups of any notable components or features.
  4. Write a Detailed Description: In addition to photos, provide a detailed description of your bike in your listing. Include information on the make and model, size, year, and any modifications or upgrades you have made. Be honest about the bike’s condition and any flaws or issues it may have.
  5. Advertise Your Bike: Once you have your listing prepared, it’s time to advertise your bike for sale. Post your listing on online marketplaces like eBay or Craigslist, as well as on cycling forums or social media groups. Consider also advertising locally by posting flyers at bike shops or posting a sign in your front yard.
  6. Be Available to Answer Questions: Once you start receiving inquiries about your bike, be available to answer any questions potential buyers may have. Be honest and transparent about the bike’s condition and history, and provide additional photos or information as needed.
  7. Arrange a Safe and Convenient Meeting: When meeting with potential buyers, be sure to choose a safe and convenient location. Meet in a public place, such as a park or bike trail, and avoid meeting at your home or in a remote location. Always bring a friend or family member with you, and consider meeting during daylight hours.
  8. Negotiate and Close the Deal: When negotiating with potential buyers, be willing to compromise to reach a fair price. Be prepared to provide a bill of sale and transfer ownership paperwork if necessary. Once the deal is finalized, collect payment and arrange for pickup or delivery of the bike.
By following these steps, you can maximize your profit when selling your used bike. With a little effort and patience, you can find a buyer who will appreciate your bike and pay you a fair price for it.

2023.05.30 09:26 BeepkartBlog What is the safest way to sell a Bike?

Selling a bike can be an exciting and rewarding experience, but it can also be challenging and potentially dangerous if not done correctly. There are several things you can do to ensure a safe and successful sale of your bike. In this article, we will discuss the safest ways to sell a Used bike in Bagalore
Before you put your bike up for sale, it is essential to ensure that it is in good condition. Take the time to clean and polish it, check the tires, brakes, and oil levels, and address any issues that may need to be fixed. A well-maintained bike is more attractive to potential buyers and can help you get a better price.
Setting a fair price is crucial when selling a bike. Research the market value of similar bike in your area and price yours accordingly. Be prepared to negotiate, but don't let yourself be lowballed. Remember that your bike has value, and you deserve to get a fair price for it.
When advertising your bike, be sure to use multiple platforms, such as online classifieds, social media, and bike forums. Take high-quality photos and write a detailed description of your bike, including its features, mileage, and condition. This will help potential buyers get a good idea of what they are looking at and what they can expect if they decide to purchase it.
When dealing with potential buyers, it is essential to be cautious. If possible, meet in a public place, such as a parking lot or bike dealership, and bring a friend or family member with you. Never meet with a potential buyer alone, especially if you do not know them.
If a potential buyer wants to take your bike for a test drive, ask to see their bike license and proof of insurance before handing over the keys. You can also accompany them on the test drive to ensure that they are not reckless or irresponsible with your bike.
Once you have found a buyer and agreed on a price, it is essential to finalize the sale safely. Never accept a personal check or wire transfer as payment. Instead, ask for cash or a cashier's check, which can be verified by the bank. Be sure to sign over the title and bill of sale, and keep a copy of both for your records.
It is also a good idea to remove any personal items from the bike before handing it over to the buyer, such as your registration or insurance card. This will help prevent identity theft and other fraudulent activity.
If you are not comfortable with the process of selling yourbikeyourself, consider using a bike dealer or broker. They can handle the entire process for you, from preparing the bikefor sale to finding a buyer and finalizing the sale. While they will take a commission or fee for their services, this can be a safer and more convenient option for some sellers.
In conclusion, selling a bike can be a fun and exciting experience, but it is important to do it safely. By preparing your bike for sale, setting a fair price, advertising it widely, being cautious when dealing with potential buyers, finalizing the sale safely, and considering using a dealer or broker, you can ensure a safe and successful sale of your bike.

2023.05.30 06:58 Tomato_Hour12 I hate betfury crypto casino

It’s a scam, a rip-off, and a waste of time and money. I don’t know how anyone can fall for their lies and tricks. They lure you in with their flashy website, their generous bonuses, and their promises of huge payouts. But once you deposit your hard-earned crypto, you’re doomed. You’ll never see it again.
Betfury is rigged. Their games are not fair, their odds are not random, and their results are not verifiable. They manipulate the outcomes to make sure you lose more than you win. They use bots, shills, and fake reviews to make themselves look legit. They censor any negative feedback or complaints on their social media and forums. They ignore any requests for support or withdrawals.
Betfury is greedy. They charge outrageous fees for deposits and withdrawals. They impose ridiculous limits and conditions on your funds. They confiscate your winnings for no reason. They change their rules and terms whenever they want. They don’t care about their customers or the community. They only care about themselves and their profits.
Betfury is illegal. They operate without a license, without regulation, and without accountability. They violate the laws and regulations of many countries and jurisdictions. They don’t comply with KYC or AML requirements. They don’t respect the privacy or security of their users. They expose them to hackers, scammers, and thieves.
Betfury is a nightmare. I regret ever joining them. I wish I could get my money back. I warn everyone to stay away from them. They are not worth your time, your money, or your trust. They are the worst crypto casino ever.

2023.05.30 05:44 awa54 are Saga-S or Saga+ up to the task of "doing audiophile"?

This is a double post of sorts, as I'm not yet a fully versed reddit poster and asked this in a 1yr old thread, thinking it would be bumped with the new post... (Sorry, sorry, sorry)
TLDR:
Is either of the Saga preamps going to be up to the task of routing signal in a lower-mid level audiophile 2 channel system, without compromising imaging, detail or tonal balance. My tastes run toward neutral and I don't love over-etched *or* romantic/euphonic sound.
The long story:
I'm looking for a basic, unbalanced preamp to slot into a fairly straight forward setup:
Adcom GFA-5400, Cambridge 851n DAC/streamer, Rega Planar 2/AT120(Ortofon X3MC is out for repair) and PSB Stratus Gold speakers, all cables are AudioQuest: GibraltaVipeWildcat.
The Cambridge Audio streamer was purchased to replace a failing Adcom GCD-750 and it all went to hell from there. Once that component entered the system I found that the preamp (now retired: Adcom GFP-565) was a huge weak link in the sound, this was easily corrected by switching the 851n to preamp mode and going direct to the amp, but that left my LP playback high and dry. I thought an easy solution would be to get an ADC and feed the digitized phono signal in through the DAC's USB input, but it seems like most of the phono pre/ADC combo pieces are only intended to interface with a PC to record and don't register as a digital source on Hi-Fi DACs.
I thought about getting a Cambridge 851d preamp, but they're scarce, expensive and seem to be prone to encoder knob issues, similarly the very well reviewed 851a integrated allegedly sounds great, but has an unacceptably high failure rate and out of the box QC issues to boot.
My next thought was to get an Adcom GFP-750 (Pass Aleph circuit), which still ought to provide sound that's close enough to state of the art to satisfy, but they're also scarce, expensive and at least 20 years old.
These Schiit preamps seem custom made to fix my problem, but there are no reviews from the "serious" audiophile press and YouTube or forum reviews can be vague, hyperbolic and usually don't site the associated system components (or they're much lower end than what I'm running) or source media used for review. Sounds awesome with Spotify and powered bookshelf monitors is totally different than doesn't hold back 24bit/96kHz FLAC through a great amp and full range floor standing speakers...
Basically, I'd love an "audiophile" hot take on how either Saga might fair in my setup. Comparisons of the two variants by folks who have experience with both would also be greatly appreciated.
TIA

2023.05.30 04:08 FinancialVoice4510 [HIRING] Philippines only: Community manager & technical content writer

Hi there!
I chose the Philippines as i'll be physically there, so there is room to discuss in-person when it is possible. The job is about building a community, from 0 to 100. Topic is: quantum. Technical content needs to be researched, fact checked and provided with (reliable/trusted) sources and written in an objective way, by human (no AI). Social media needs to be managed (at the moment Twitter but more will be added soon). Forum needs to be engaging, bring in new users and moderate it. Be genuinely interested in this topic or be willing to learn more about it. Be creative. Don't just work to work, initiate new ideas, be really part of the community. So, plenty of tasks to do.
For pricing, i am thinking of doing hourly rate, at $5-10/hour but happy to talk about it. (Bonus would be if you offered a trial, as very few people know about quantum and see how it goes). I would like someone that is going to be fully invested in this, it is a long-term position so i am in no hurry.
Send me a DM if you're interested. I'll go through it next week.

Interviewing an increasing number of job applicants from residencies I’ve never heard of. Of course, they all come with glowing LORs, but that doesn’t mean much to me… Aside from opinions on social media forums, is there a reliable way to find out when a residency was born, graduation numbers, etc?

2023.05.30 00:44 tombcat DIY build vs prebuilt NAS

TL;DR - Is this a good build? Is it better than one of these? If not, how can I improve it for less than 180 USD?
I have an aging (read: from 2012) gaming PC that I'm thinking of turning into a NAS killer as an alternative to buying a prebuilt enclosure. This is my first time building a PC of any kind, and I'm basing my parts off this guide, which seems to have yielded pretty good results. My budget is around 180 USD, since for that money I can get one of these or something similar. I already have a pair of 2 TB WD Reds that I'm definitely using either way, ideally in some kind of RAID array.
I'm planning to mostly use this machine as a Plex server for maybe 4-5 people besides myself, but I also want to rip DVDs and torrent movies, as well as use it as a general back up for photos, music, documents, and anything else I might want a copy of. I'd also like to do a little gaming and video editing if possible, but that's definitely not a requirement. Anyway, thanks in advance for your advice.
PCPartPicker list
I couldn't find the case on PCPartPicker, but here's the old Best Buy page. It's still running the specs listed there.
Questions:
Will this build work? PCPartPicker and the NAS killer guide seem to think so, but I want reddit's opinion as well.
In terms of ease of use and performing the tasks I outlined above, could a machine with these specs do better than a prebuilt NAS?
If so, is there anything you would change about this setup while still remaining in budget?
If not, what needs to change to make it comparable to a typical NAS enclosure? Are these changes possible with the aforementioned budget?
How much do I really need the graphics card for the media server aspect of things? I know it's not essential per se, but I get the impression it makes encoding/transcoding video much faster. Would the card I selected make much of a difference?
Additionally, are there any upgrades you would make that don't go too far over budget?

2023.05.30 00:01 CrewBitt Succession, Survivor, and the Social Game

Succession, Survivor, and the Social Game
(Spoilers for the season finales of Succession and Survivor 44.)
Left: The Roy siblings. Right: The Tika Three.
It's been a tense few months for fans of cutthroat TV. Last week saw the finale of two hugely popular shows: HBO's Succession and CBS's Survivor. The two shows have highly engaged online audiences – at the time of writing, they each hold the number one spots for scripted and reality television, respectively. HBO has banked heavily on Succession over the past two years, and Survivor was just granted even longer episodes by CBS. It's safe to say the two programs are popular – likely because of the fascinating ways they examine humans engaging in high-stakes, interpersonal politicking.
Both shows spent their respective finales barreling towards similar scenarios: a tightly knit trio, after a number of bickers and quarrels, faces a vote in which each hopes to be crowned the sole victor of the games they're playing. In Survivor, three members of the Tika tribe ally to vie for a chance to convince the jury of their merits as a player. In Succession, the three children of Logan Roy and Caroline Collingwood collude to stop Swedish tech billionaire Lukas Matsson from acquiring their father’s company, pitching themselves to Waystar's board as a preferable alternative.
The Tika three and the Roy siblings differ in a number of ways, but their fundamental dynamics are strikingly similar. Carson and Roman flourish in chaos and work the hardest to keep the trios together, displaying emotional vulnerability despite their conniving maneuvers. Carolyn and Kendall are both social media favorites, volatile protagonists with a humanizing history of addiction. And, of course, there are Yam Yam and Siobhan – always on edge and in danger, they try to use charisma to keep threats against their interests at bay.
The metaphor isn't a perfect one. Doesn't Shiv's relationship with womanhood draw a tighter parallel with Carolyn, who shares her mother's name? Is Matsson Jeff, or is he Logan? Is there a way to talk about Greg or Danny in this piece? (Answer: Likely not.) There are a myriad of interpretations, but one thing is clear: both shows demonstrate the weight of politics and relationships in building a winning social coalition.
Left: The Survivor jury observes tribal council. Right: The Waystar board prepares to vote.
The vote counting is constant. Yam Yam talks about reviewing rocks in the sand to get a clearer understanding of the composition of the jury. Shiv and Ken rattle names off at each other, each insistent that they're on the side with the winning numbers. The jury and board have loomed large over Survivor and Succession since the finales of their first seasons, where Kendall shot for the king (and missed) and Sue likened her tribemates to rats and snakes. The jury and the board are filled with actors with a variety of stakes, investments and preferences – Frannie says Carolyn "changed her life" and Stewy says he's "team Ken, baby."
The paths to victory were not simple for any of our protagonists. Unforeseen twists tripped them up at every turn, from idols to advantages to deaths. Working together – and against one another – they're able to position themselves right up at the finish line, attempting to fend off "clumsy interlopers" like Heidi and Tom.
Left: Tom Wambsgans. Right: Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt.
Of course, viewers know how that worked out. Though Heidi only came in second, her record time in the firemaking challenge burned Carson's chance at a winning game to a crisp, his fear of public failure similar to Roman's self-immolating eulogy at his father's funeral. Just as Carson is pushed out, Roman, too, steps out of contention, leaving Ken and Shiv to compete for the coveted crown. Their arguments throughout the series are sometimes a smokescreen, but their closeness and familiarity with one another also creates very real tensions – reminiscent of the fights between Yam Yam and Carolyn.
Unfortunately for the Roys, this competition gives Matsson space to use Tom as a reliable CEO option. Like the sole survivors of past seasons, Tom knows how to play a strong social game with the hand he's dealt. Following in Heidi's footsteps, he pitches his humble background and hardworking attitude during a "hang" with Matsson, a choreography that mimics that of a strong final tribal council.
His relationships within the show are integral to Tom's victory within the realm of Succession, but there is a broader context outside of the confines of the two stories. While the winners may have won votes and taken power within the narratives of the shows, there is another game of favoritism playing out with the show's audience. This game of hearts and minds is won by strengthening the audience's connection to the characters on their screens – and reflects the parasociality at the heart of contemporary social media.
Left: Triumph of the Conheads. Right: The Yam YamTram.
Just look at Reddit and Twitter after the finales. While the Yam Yam and Connor trains chugged on, Carolyn stans and Kenheads witnessed a tale of brokenhearted loss. These characters dominated their stories, introducing the audience to their lives and allowing us to witness the massive ups and downs of their journey – both times culminating in cathartic swimming montages.
Beyond the fiction of Succession, there is no Kendall Roy. Carolyn Wiger is, in the words of College & the Electric Youth, a real human being – and a real hero. In recent seasons, Survivor has shied away from controversial cast members, and for good reason. Unlikeable or villainous characters may make good reality TV, but they're often maligned, misrepresented, and even doxxed by viewers who don't approve of their in-game decisions and personalities. Even Sandra, the Queen of Survivor, has had to contend with angry Parvati stans on her Instagram account. In contrast, the Tika Three and their castmates are eminently likable, from Jamie's boundless positivity to Frannie and Matt's adorable showmance. These are real people, but the meanness is excised – and so winning the social game with the audience is an easier process. Reality TV contestants are now all but expected to rack up major follower counts and brand deals online, making a positive relationship with an audience a potentially lucrative prospect.
And yet, Succession has managed to turn the most onerous people into babygirls and faves. A fascist pervert, a defender of sexual abuse, and a murderous, neglectful father should not make for a likable trio. But seeing them gleefully concoct the world's worst smoothie conjures enough joy in the audience to make them forget, even momentarily, the characters' worst actions.
Left: Members of the Survivor 44 cast. Right: A Zoom Q&A with the cast of Succession.
Maybe that's because, like the real-life cast of Survivor, the cast of Succession is adored. There is a difference here between fact and fiction, and a creation of two social games. One exists on an island in Fiji and a New York office building, where bastards cut each others' throats and toss the bodies overboard. The other springs to life with forums and fancams as audiences have spent the shows' running times speculating about winners and losers, spurred on by sly commentary and misdirection from both casts.

Best Bros (Mei Suruga 🍎 & Baliyan Akki ♠️)

VS

Sayaka 👗 & Miya Yotsuba 🍀 , Kaori Yoneyama 🍚 & Minoru Fujita 🐦, EGG TART (Chie Koishikawa 🏵️ & Hagane Shinno ⚔️), Black Comaneci (Tokiko “Otoki” Kirihara 💃 & Antonio Honda 🍯), UMA (Sayaka Obihiro 💙 & kojio 🏰)

Best Bros Birthday Special Tag Gauntlet

We're going to be celebrating the birthdays of both the Best Bros once again! (Both of them were actually born on the same day: May 30th! Keep in mind, we're half a day behind Japan's time zone!) Baliyan Akki & Mei Suruga are team with unrivaled chemistry, a pair of rivals turned partners that have risen to the top of the tag division of Ichigaya (in a string of spectacular bouts) and have even taken down some powerful guests! Mei Suruga is a pin specialist and submission connoisseur (not to mention a total goblin), having recently celebrated her Fifth Anniversary (and the appearance of her second Trainee!). Mei is incredibly gifted at pro-wrestling, undoubtedly destined for greatness in the Joshi scene...though she has her eyes set on a different prize: popularity across the world! Baliyan Akki is the Ace of the promotion, a breezy elite level technician who excels at everything that is put in front of him. The way he strings techniques together is truly breath taking. He is at the top of the food chain for a reason, and it is only a matter of time before he holds a belt again! The way these two different mentalities flow together creates a perfect synergy in the ring. Even with their excellent team attacks, individual specializations, and boundless creativity, they will still be in for a brutal challenge.
Just like most celebrations in the Chocolate Square, this one will be quite violent! While there isn’t the threat of a mystery team this time, the random order of enemies makes it hard to prepare. Can they take down five of ChocoPro’s great teams in one go? Can they beat their old score? Will Mei bite someone? Tune in to find out! They will be facing (in no particular order) in 10 minute bouts:
Sayaka & Miya Yotsuba in a first time pairing! Smiling Violence and Ichigaya’s Lucky Charms are both know for their powerful striking ability and tend to compete with one another on how hard they can hit! How will the Bros endure both of the Chocolate Square’s Heavy Hitters in one match?
Kaori Yoneyama & Minoru Fujita, Two of the most frequent guests of the promotion! These two crafty veterans have both held gold in Gatoh Move and together should be an absolute menace. Buckle up for some high technical ability and dirty tricks!
EGG TART (Chie Koishikawa & Hagane Shinno) are one of the longest rivals of the Best Bros! With the speedhouse striker “Ace of the Fourth Generation” Chie and the merciless “Cold Killer” and Super Asia Champ Hagane, this will probably be one of the highest threats in the gauntlet. Expect some spice here!
Black Comaneci (Tokiko “Otoki” Kirihara & Antonio Honda) are entirely unpredictable and could very well show up in a form we’ve never seen. Though this team favors comedic antics, it should be noted that most of the comedy comes in the form of brutal slapstick and shocking weapons. It should be noted that Tokiko kicks very hard. Comaneci!
UMA (Sayaka Obihiro & kojio) represent the invading Monsters in this one. Can the charismatic veteran and the mysterious dark hero utilize their own unnatural chemistry against the Birthday Bros? These two have been impressing with their ability to adapt and overcome setbacks. Also, they are monsters.
Good Luck, Best Bros...and Happy Birthday!
Come and see the wild creativity that produced Two of the Seven AEW Women's World Champions! (Both of which have appeared on ChocoPro!) You'll be wondering if you're seeing future champs, as well. ChocoPro is the Frontier of Pro Wrestling! Match after match of hard hitting, chaotic, fun bouts with a friendly online audience. We're quickly growing, and you're welcome to come along!
Here are some Frequently Asked Questions:

“What is this?”

ChocoPro is a free online promotion run by AEW's Emi Sakura, that takes place in the legendary Ichigaya Chocolate Square! It features a steady pace of live Episode releases, fan interaction, season long story arcs, and much more! A place where the turnbuckles are replaced with 14th floor windows, the ropes are often replaced with fans, unforgiving walls provide creative avenues for skills otherwise unthinkable, and you can take solace in knowing that the referees usually do nothing. While it might be a shocking change at first, the intensity and storytelling will leave you wanting more.

“Why are they fighting in ____?”

Short answer is that it is a cost effective, unique venue with a better availability schedule and allows the roster access for training. Emi Sakura has been using this place for a long time, and you might be surprised at some of the names that have used it (even outside of ChocoPro!). There are a few in-ring Episodes and Gatoh Move has in ring shows with crowds on the YouTube channel. Think of it like the Hart Dungeon but as a promotion, if that helps!

”What are the rules?”

While special match stipulations will usually be explained before the respective matches, the general rules of ChocoPro are simple. Pins only count on the Chocolate Mat and are not broken by the edge or Wall. Submissions usually only count on the Chocolate Mat, and ARE broken by reaching the edge or wall (sometimes ceiling...). Double pins and Double submissions are legal (and encouraged) in ChocoPro Tag matches, meaning cohesive teams will always have the advantage! Count Outs only exist if specified, since many matches stray from the comfort of the Chocolate Square into the streets (and the rest of the building itself!) There is a Time Limit for each bout (based on card placement and importance) and the Referee has discretion (even if they tend to do nothing most of the time!). Every Ref is different, some have different levels of bias and speed.

“How can I support them?”

Watch the show! Even if you can't see it live, the views matter! Like & Subscribe! You can join the Channel's membership for different tiers of perks...but also, you can buy single episode Sponsorship, Digital autographed photos, and more on their shop site as well as purchase shirts from PWTees (which features some great options!) If you'd like to donate or purchase a main wall sponsorship, you can via Paypal or Patreon...and don't forget to cheer for your favorites! (especially if you want to do a superchat!)

”How come there aren’t a lot of comments on the threads?”

ChocoPro is a YouTube show, meaning the discourse happens live...in the chat! Those that comment in the threads on here tend to do so in order to help new viewers that might be intimidated by the fast moving chat. Don’t be afraid to just dive in though, the community is friendly.

“Why are you posting this here? / Are you paid for this?”

This is a wrestling forum, and I'm trying to broaden the horizons of others! There is a lot of good wrestling out there...Plus growing the fan base means more people for me to joke around with! I honestly do believe this is what a lot of fans are looking for, even if it is too different for some! But different tastes are good. Variety is the spice of life. This is a labor of love (it really doesn't take that long) considering how much work they do to put on so many shows...for free!
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me on here or on Twitter, where I’m probably a bit tired! ChocoPro is a Gauntlet again!
Season Tracker: We're 13/18 into Season 18! (Each Season is usually around 18 episodes)

2023.05.29 22:47 Droz037 Issue with hard drive upgrade and xraid

Hi everyone,
Hoping someone can lend some help and maybe provide a solution.
I am helping a friend out with her ReadyNAS. She's not big on being on forums or social media so relaying things for her.
She has a ReadyNAS 428 running 6.10.9, it had eight 10TB drives in one volume. With five 8TB drives in an EDA500
She wanted to upgrade the first volume with 16TB to get more storage. As a cautionary measure due to my own experience with ReadyNAS. I told her to turn off X-raid before putting in the last drive to upgrade.
In the past, every time I've done an upgrade of drives, ReadyNAS has changed from Raid5 to Raid6 on me without asking if I wanted to do that.
So once the last drive sync'd she tried to turn x-raid back on. Unfortunately she now gets this message
"You are attempting to to switch from Flex-RAID to X-Raid. This is not possible because you have expanded volumes"
From what I've been told by someone who looked at the logs. It seems that it tried to change the raid level when drive two finished syncing. But it never did and the volume is not expanded.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

2023.05.29 22:35 Stan_SH17 How to act against my ex's provocations during my zero contact? Why she want to hurt me? Is she going to come back?

Hi everyone. I'm happy to discover this forum, I really feel very lonely in this new and hard fight. I'm gonna make a big summary about my situation. I will appreciate a lot any kind of advice or help. My girlfriend brokeup our 4 year and a half relationship. The main reason, she know a friend that at the beggining she resist to admit that she likes it. So the guy enter in his life just as a friend. And it seems that for almost a year it was just that. Before thath the relation ends, we had a discution about her interes in my self. My ex was in a very dificult period in her life, she has a lot of problems with her family, her mind and the university. So she beggan to neglet the relation. Even when i warned him about the posible concecuences, she didn't do nothing. She just hinted that it wasen't no more confortable to feel that she must hold the relation. So she was angry and sad for our discution and the next day that she was with her friend, she kissed him. Aparrently for the guy that was a surprise. But for her it was a destructive desition. Next day she told me witout stop of criying and saying sorry lots of time. And at the same time, express her desire of broke up. I didn't understand, I was shoked, and my only option was to "accept" the broke up. Since thath, happen a mounth ago and both we suffer a lot. Also we beggin to think in all our mistakes during the relationship. Even knowing that, I was determinate to get back her. I decide to change my life (at that moment me too have to fight lots of problems) and to write a big letter explaing all my changes and the reasons why I think we should comeback. Meanwhile that happen she only express her guilty and confusion. But she tried to convence herself that our time together has come to and end, and know each of us must beggin a new life. I tried to convence that chanching our lifes dosen't mean that we must be separated. So in that time I didn't stop to look for her and to give him small details to convence her. Now I reconize that it was a big mistake.
When she promise me that she has clarify her mind, she express again in person that she dosen't want to be with me. The problem is that it dosen't seem to be a strong desition. Because even in thath condition we have pass a good time. That was a week ago, we kiseed multiples times and we play a lot like if we was boyfriends. My intensión was to make a zero contact and at that moment give my best impresión. And then, when the moment of remember me arrive, she could remeber our last good time together. At the same time I began to realize that it wasen't good to be friend or to talk to someone to I love and I want as a couple, when she dosen't deasire anymore the same thing. She only seemed to be interested in garante our friendship. So at the next day and in our "date" I made and effort to transmite the following: "i cannot want to be with someone that dosen't love me as I do it". And I beggan the zero contact. She only try to speak me the same day and the she didn't said nothing. She kind of proud women. During that days I beggan to fell me better, and I convince myself that my life could be cute witout her. But at the same time, even If i beggan a emotional disconection of her, that dosen't mean that I lost the hope on her. In wich she will reconsidere her desition. Or at least my objetive was to give him some time to think witout preasure and felling my true absence in her life. So after a couple of weeks I could come back in a stronger emotional way and for show with discretion my changes. This time witout fear of being rejected. But then something happen, I put in my social media a picture with my new puppy friday. Also durring this weeks I put some collection photos in facebook of my past, with my family, of my birthaday and even a couple of pictures with her. I think she saw it friday and she became maybe angry or sad, because of that and the zero contact. So she desactive her facebook profile. Is something that she do when she feel bad o she has to think. And the yestarday in the morning she found a stuppid pretext to send me a message, and she said: "Don't worry, its not necesary that you answer me". I ignored that. But at the night, she made something to hurt me. It will take to much time to explain the context.
So I will only say that she found I way to put something in her social media In way that only I understand why it hurts me, meanwhile other found it like a inoccent experience. She try ito put me jelous, but not with a guy, the problem was the WORDS that she chose to describe her experience knowing in a event an "actor" that made the voice of her anime crush, that she knew (because I told her in the past in a relax way and not being jelous, that i feel a bit bad when she post cute and admirable words for him. I said that I will like to be for her that one guy that she announce in her storys as the "love of her life"), it would hurt me. And even more, she thanked publickly in a cute but discrete way to the guy she kissed (apparently still friends). I don't know why, it doesn't seem like it was a date for two. At best, he just gave her the information about the event. In the worst, well she has no respect for the duel of our broke up. So just me I realize that this is kind of a vengence and a way to catch my atention. It just made me very angry, but I dindt do anything.
I think the best think I can do is to ignore her provocations. But I dont know that to do now. She will ever realize of what she is doing hurting me like that? What is she waiting of me? I should change something of my strategy? If didn't do anything, maybe she will get more angry or more sad and will do something more? Bad o good maybe? Whats tells you your own experience about my case? Why she do that and what sould I do? What should I expect?

Sorry for my bad english, I'm not a native speaker and I do my best.

2023.05.29 21:59 INeedHelp2698 Im am a 33 year old guy and I feel like I have autism or adhd or some kind of thing like them

Just wondering what people think or feel they are similar to this and what helped them or what to do.
At primary school I was very quiet, I would also say pretty smart and the type of kid who always did all the work fast, I feel like I did it very fast as I didn't like to do it so the quicker I finished the more time I didn't need to do it. Maybe because I was quiet so didn't like any attention on me or to cause any problems.
I did make friends ok when younger and I was never bullied or anything like that, I was quiet but got on with people and even do now. I had two best friends until maybe I was 13 or 14 who I went out with all the time but around that time I started to get anxiety about being around people and eventually stopped hanging out with them, was a long time they would come to get me and i'd just make excuses, I did go out with them the odd time but I felt I became more awkward as I was doing it when I really didn't want to, I eventually stopped and never talked to them again.
In High School I got on with people well also, was never bullied but again very quiet. I had friends in school and my two best friends I mentioned before at the time went to the same school again also. In High School I was less interested though, I had to do French and I hated French and would have preferred Spanish but couldn't because we learned French in Primary School so I always kind of resented that and didn't care, everything else I was fine with other than English as I hated reading books as I thought it was boring. So there was a long time in High School English where we had to get books and read them and do book reports and I never did a single one, I always took dentention and punishments. I eventually used to skip English class and was put on a Card thing I had to have signed by every teacher to prove I was in class.
I hated homework or studying at home of any type, most homework I never done and any time I did do it I did it all last minute. For exams and stuff I never did any studying at all, one English one I remember I had to read my first ever book really and do an essay about it and I remember I was like half way into the book and the teacher came over and said she had read the book and what did I think and my mind was totally blank and I realised I hadn't even took a single thing in and had to re-read it from the start and think more about it but I did do the essay and all my school results were always good.
I have never used social media or even been on many. Like Facebook, Tiktok, Snapchat any dating apps I have never even downloaded. I've never even looked at them in my life. Twitter I have but i've never tweeted and only follow 1 person I know, my cousin since he added me. Instagram I have but I only follow celebrities and nobody I know.
I have had 5 jobs and all 5 hated and after a while felt like i'd rather die than keep doing them. I never made friends as I always worked with older guys who were always like 20-30 years older than me and the jobs were construction/landscaping. Or I worked alone (parcel delivery and another type of working alone).
For a long time I had regular anxiety attacks, I think from about 23 till about 29. I never experienced one before although I felt I always had a kind of anxiety even since a kid at speaking to people or being the centre of attention like I hated my own birthday partys and stuff.
I've never been into gaming either, I liked playing some games and always had playstations but I would never think of myself as a gamer and have not played a playstation in about 4 years.
I have zero friends(my only friend is my dad and 99/100 times I go anywhere I go with him). Even on the internet I have never had an online friend, I have been a member of a forum of a sports team I like for about 10 years but never really bonded with anyone, also a forum of a celebrity I am a fan of and again I kind of feel out of place on it and although I have posted a lot i've never made an connection to anyone there even though I feel like a lot of them are friends with each other.
I kind of feel like I have always been depressed and I feel like it's because I had a kind of social anxiety since I was a kid. When I was like 14 though nobody ever really spoke about or I never even heard about anxiety so back then I didn't really ever think about it I just knew it was there and I never felt normal or happy around people.
I have never felt really low or suicidal or nothing though I would just say like numb and level my whole life. I also think people see me as really chill and calm and easy going when on the inside I feel like I over analyse and overthink everything, im never like relaxed or calm im always thinking about all different things at once and I start things and stop and go back and do things in between. Im posting this even though it feels incomplete but I felt i've wrote too much nobody will even read it as it is but I am open to any questions, I know you can't really diagnose people based on nothing really but I am wondering if this is relatable to anyone.

2023.05.29 20:14 NewRCTID22 4k Subs Milestone: Thank you!

Well, we just passed the 4,000 subscriber milestone, and although the number is comparatively insignificant in the grand scheme of things, I wanted to pass along a thank you to all that tune in to our little corner of the Internet.
I frankly never expected to surpass a couple hundred readers. And while it’s awesome to see it continue to grow, part of what makes this site special is the community that focuses on soccer fans supporting other soccer fans.
At the end of the day, I’ve always believed you can root against a team while still welcoming their fans into your stadium. And maybe since I’ve been outside Portland for years and spend the majority of my time as a visiting fan, I continue to appreciate this sentiment. With the extent of toxicity and divisiveness present in society, it’s important to remember all of us want to see soccer in the US flourish. And nothing indicates a healthier soccer landscape than people spending resources to follow their team outside of its home base.
When I began tracking MLS away culture back in 2011, the only outlets that provided away fan content were either decaying forums with infrequent posts or irritating social media pages that stoke the flames of antagonism. And during this time, I also began to realize that the average soccer fan does not understand away day basics including where away sections are located or how well fanbases do travel despite considerable distances between venues.
Upon diving into Reddit culture in 2016, I sought to help change that. This sub is not much, and admittedly my gf and family still don’t exactly comprehend what I spend my Saturdays perusing the interwebs trying to find. But it’s my small way of giving back to the wider soccer community.
I appreciate all the positive feedback we’ve received and I am always open to suggestions to make this community more interesting and insightful. I’m contemplating ideas to generate more high-quality content, including potentially providing a small commission to photographers or fans at every stadium to submit high def photos on a weekly basis. But as of now, this is purely theoretical.
Best of luck to everyone’s teams - except for the 90 minutes when they play mine ;)
