Strengths of iOS

1. Apps optimized for lower consumption of RAM, CPU and battery.
2. Camera integrated well into every app
3. Regular & consistent OS updates
4. Seamless connectivity with other Apple products
5. Overall simple UI
6. Reliable video capture
7. More private by default than a typical Android phone
8. 64-bit architecture for faster heavy operations (iOS has more 64 bit apps than Android)

Strengths of Android

1. Freedom of selection of devices based on specific needs, cost, form factor and price
2. Allows installation of third-party apps and even emulators
3. Apart from Play Store, F-Droid is an app store which hosts free, lightweight and open-source apps
4. Connects file transfer directly to the PC via USB cable without installing anything
5. Dual window support to do multitasking (Screen split)
6. Ables to set default apps for almost anything (SMS, Phone, Browser, keyboard and even home launcher)
7. Some (almost all flagship) Android phones allow us to unlock the bootloader and install Custom ROMs and Kernels to extend the lifespan of a phone
8. An Android phone may stop getting OS updates but Google Play Protect (a system app that helps in curbing malicious apps as well as adds new features) is updated regularly to the devices running even Android KitKat (4.4.4)!
9. App availability for older devices is decent
10. Versions from Android 10 include modules which help in updating core system components independently through Play System Update
11. Open Source

Weaknesses of iOS: (From the Perspective of an Android Ueer)

1. Lacks proper file system
2. Lacks T9 dialing
3. Call logs of every calling app capped at last 100 entries
4. Another calling app cannot receive call when call from other app is ongoing
5. Lack of Clipboard section in keyboard
6. Mediocre typing experience in stock keyboard compared to Gboard
7. No pause button when recording a video
8. Lacks multi-window support
9. Lacks universal back gesture
10. Limited support for setting default apps (currently only email and maps)
11. No straightforward way to set a custom ringtone other than iTunes
12. Files cannot be accessed on PC without iTunes
13. Lacks native call recording
14. Lacks side-loading
15. Siri is a joke

Weaknesses of Android

1. Different skins of Android make doing same tasks difficult for the users of other skins
2. Budget Android phones come with bloatware and ads (Though Android 14 is coming with a feature to do away with bloatware)
3. Heavy apps stutter and lag on budget phones because of bulky tracking SDKs (lightweight Open Source apps work without stutter, and take less battery, CPU and RAM) However, High end devices will handle them just fine.
4. You're being tracked on Android by first parties and third parties (Same is true for iPhones but third party tracking is consented while first party tracking by Apple is on by default)
5. Software update in Android takes a lot of time in optimizing apps for the new update
6. New OS update may break certain (old) apps

• GPU: The reason why I am considering NVIDIA is because sometimes I do small ML projects using CUDA, so I feel this is a must. However, the GPUs in Japan are crazy expensive, so I am considering buying a 2nd hand GPU (via amazon or something similar) and later on updating to a better one.
• HDD: This I already have, so I only put it to see the power consumption

1. Tom Lockwood l's murder - now I don't have any problem with Joe killing earth's most powerful man but the problem is how it was executed. In S2 when Joe killed henderson, he did so much research and also hacked his accounts, got information out from his friends, sneaking into his house to make a plan and then executed his plan. But in Tom's case he just decided to kill Tom, went to his house without any plan, kills him and framed his bodyguard who just coincidentlly happened to be there!! They could have dedicated 2-3 episodes to Tom's murder but it was wrapped up in just 10 mins?
   
2. Framing Nadia and killing Edward - again it was all wrapped up in hardly 2 minutes. They should have shown how Joe killed Edward and framed Nadia. Actually how did he frame Edward for killing Rhys? Although I can understand Rhys murder because at that time a powerful man like Tom was backing Joe.

1. Sweden - no-brainer, I know some feel it is overrated, but based on the general public's reaction and Loreen's staging it seems almost certain that it will qualify
2. Finland - same as Sweden, it is very unique and energetic, and closing the show will definitely help. already has a huge fan base and considering televote is the only voting in SF i wouldn't be at all surprised if it won the SF over Loreen
3. Czechia - all depends on the performance and vocals- the music video concept was cool, but the performance at the NF was lacking (partly due to poor mixing). I think with good staging it could be this year's Shum (not to say all ethnic songs are shum etc.)
4. Norway - just a very solid EDM/pop song, with lots of support on tiktok etc. and it's very hard not to see this qualifying, not much else to say
5. Moldova - another banger, love the ethnic-pop vibes and the drop is everything, I think euro-fans will go for it and Moldova has a lot of diaspora, hesitant to put it higher in SFs just because this is such a bloodbath
6. Portugal - my number 4, i don't care what the betting odds say, this is everything, so much energy and culture, and the ending is amazing!! only putting it down here because I think jury will like it better and also I felt personally that the staging was sort of tacky in FdC, I hope they make a few changes
7. Israel - look, I like each part of the song separately, but it just isn't cohesive. feels like they just threw in a bunch of random songs into one to appeal to everyone, but it doesn't work. i do think voters will love the dance break tho, and the vocals I am expecting to be on point + she is already an established singer so I do expect Israel to qualify
8. Croatia - this could be very polarising. then again, in Eurovision it's better to have half the people love it and the other half hate it than it be considered "ok" by everyone. slowly growing on me, and I think the sentiment is very relevant, so I have put it as a qualifier, but it is also possible that the first impression it gives might be a turn-off for voters. that was sort of the initial reaction when it was selected, so i'm not confident.
9. Netherlands - why is everyone sleeping on this, i love it! my number two! love the harmonies and the chorus melody. that being said I feel this will appeal to juries more and voters may find it a little boring (not me!). it has got an alright position in running order but may be overlooked as it is between 2 major favs, finland and czechia. borderline for sure
10. Serbia - just like last year this is very experimental and bold, and I personally love it. very powerful and unique, and the hello? part gets me every time. but I'm just not sure about the impact it will have on voters- esp being in the third spot of the running order. serbia does have good bloc voting but its hard to say.

1. Austria - nothing much to say, very catchy song and funny with a good underlying message. will appeal a lot to voters as it is one of the few dance/upbeat songs in this SF. definite q
2. Slovenia - their chemistry on stage and vocals lift the song so much, and it has so much energy. hard to not see it qualifying
3. Australia - probably slightly biased here, but I really think Australia is being underrated by fans. its unique and memorable and those last 30 seconds with the guitar solo could really be a moment on stage. also, from Australia Decides last year we know they can perform and build an atmosphere! its boosted by closing the show too! i think it will def outperform expectations.
4. Georgia - my fav lyrics ever. thing is known is beautiful. seriously tho, I love this song, my number 3. just has such an epic but modern feel to it and the chorus is so catchy. i don't even think casual viewers will pay much attention to the lyrics, and i think this is a safe qualifier. imo it will do even better in the final, because her vocals are incredible.
5. Armenia - love this song and especially the rap section, also the staging concept in the mv would be so cool. that said, i don't know if it's really "made for Eurovision". don't come at me, I just don't really see it being a moment on stage, and it might not resonate with viewers especially so early in the show. still I think it will qualify but am not expecting wild success or anything
6. Estonia - there aren't that many solid ballads in this contest, but this is def one of them. personal number 5, her vocals are incredible and the build up of the whole song is amazing! great lyrics too! in some ways I am imagining a voila style performance and result, but I think that is wishful thinking. i am almost certain this will qualify, but will definitely do better in the final as the juries I'm sure will appreciate it. maybe even top 10 if staged well...
7. Cyprus - i think it's sort of underrated. there's something very clean and modern about this song and especially the drop. i don't think it will do incredibly in the final but I think it will qualify and place maybe 17-20.
8. Iceland - generally the nordics are really strong this year! iceland isn't exactly my cup of tea but I appreciate Dilja's vocals and I think the DnB will stand out. not too sold on the song so that's why I'm placing it at 8
9. Lithuania - slowly growing on me. love the ciuto tuto bit and her vocals are flawless. without juries this might struggle and is a borderline q for me, but it may have the potential to surprise in the final
10. Belgium - honestly this is so fun. love this 90s style of dance/house music and Gustaph has a lot of charisma as a performer and sells the song. its nothing groundbreaking but i like it, and it might just qualify
