Is DC likely to reprint the rest of the Golden Age omnibuses?
I just found out that DC are reprinting the Batman golden age volume one omnibus and as a long time trade reader but not omnibus collector, do people think that DC will continue to reprint through to volume 10?

2023.05.28 22:34 BaiFengJiu_Dijun_01 New project

I'm trying the peacock fan stitch for the first time. Unsure if it'll be a blanket or rectangle shawl yet. It's pretty fun and the yarn is super soft. Also when I do finish it should I add a border? If so what color? I'm thinking white, black, or a silver gray.

2023.05.28 19:27 DasPhero No Data from TLSR8250 UART Ports

No Data from TLSR8250 UART Ports
Hello community,
I am new to the topic of reversing so forgive me stupid questions.
In the search of a first project I found a cheap LED growing lamp in our living room. It's made by maxsure and as far as I understood it is supported by the Tuya Cloud.
It uses a TLSR8250F512ET32 MCU and luckily it has a publicly available datasheet.
To start off I traced the PCB as best as I was able to
frontside
backside
It supports 2.4GHz and BLE. But as I wasn't able to scan the BT device even in pairing mode I tried to get literally anything from the UART ports.
So I soldered wires to 5V plus (left side), TXD, RXD, GND and 3.3V (all visible on the backside). Being broken out I hoped that they are being used to debug or anything.
As a USB2Serial converter I used an ESP8266 NodeMCU with the EN pin shorted and hooked up all wires.
Using the screen linux utility I hoped to get any data.... Nothing. Just a blinking cursor and an empty screen.
I tried several thing: - swapping TX/RX - Providing 5V to main - Providing 3.3V to the chip - Providing both
I am now really unsure where I can go from here. I didn't have a fixed goal and saw this more of a learning experience. But it would be awesome to find out what I did wrong and get anything from it.
Also Tuya provides a tutorial to flash Tuya devices but they need an auth key and specialized hardware to do so... so I am really unsure if going further will be doable from a beginners perspective. If I did/would be able to what kind of programming language would be used on such MCUs?

2023.05.28 18:05 kior_89 New on Kirill's SPSS macros page: !KO_AMONGCATS macro to compare category proportions

A notification of a new macro !KO_AMONGCATS Available as "Compare proportions" on https://www.spsstools.net/en/KO-spssmacros
Compares proportions of the categories defined by one categorical variable ("single response" variable) or proportions of the positive response in a set of binary variables ("multiple response" set). Results output is formatted similar to Custom Tables, and the procedure is apt for processing survey data.
SPSS Custom Tables currently does pairwise statistical comparisons of proportions only between independent groups, for example, to compare the proportion of a "Yes" response between groups "Females" vs "Males" vs "Other". !KO_AMONGCATS will compare between the categories' proportions themselves, i.e., compare the sizes of groups "Females" vs "Males" vs "Other". It is the "one-sample comparison". Or, if the "categories" are not exclusive, such as after a multiple-response question ("Which brands do you know? "Audi", "Daewoo", "Ford", etc.), !KO_AMONGCATS will compare proportions of positive response (selection rate) between those. It is the "paired-samples comparison".
Some features of the macro:
- Exact and asymptotic testing
- Optional omnibus test before pairwise testing
- Bonferroni and Benjamini-Hochberg multiple comparison corrections
- Simple and APA-subscript style of display of significant results (as in Custom Tables)
- Optional detailed printout
- Plotting a graph (network etc.) to see significant differences
The macro positions itself as a potentially valuable complement for Custom Tables in survey data analysis in social sciences, marketing research etc.

Grow light automation
Hi everyone,
I started a project to automate a greenhouse. I designed a board with few relays to control light, fan and humidifier directly from power grid electricity. I used an ESP32C3 module as the board controller and a Raspberry Pi 4 as the automation server. I tried to keep it simple. I used Node Red to program the automation rule and Mosquito as MQTT broker. I use this system since the last Christmas without issue😊.
The board code and the Node Red code are available on my GitHub Page and the board here.
( I repost it, I had an issue with the images)
