2023.06.04 18:06 Whaddayahear Some numbers for this summer.
Let me preface this by saying that this is not concrete, but just estimates.
Barcelona has taken decisive action by parting ways with Pique, Alba, and Busquets. By doing so, the club will not only alleviate its salary burden but also enhance its financial standing with an impressive sum of 49,310,000 €. This decision is firm and unambiguous.
Now, let us delve into the matter of player sales.
If Barcelona successfully transfers the players who are widely anticipated to leave, namely Kessie, Ferran, Fati, and Garcia, the potential financial gains are substantial. According to the esteemed evaluation platform Transfermarkt, these sales could amass a staggering 105,000,000 €, in addition to the earlier mentioned 38,950,000 € in salary savings.
In summary, Barcelona has the remarkable opportunity to liberate a noteworthy sum of 88,260,000 € from its salary expenditure while simultaneously generating 105,000,000 € through player sales.
This vast influx of funds provides ample room for the club to address its need for squad depth, rectify issues concerning the left wing, and fortify the midfield department.
What do you think?

2023.06.04 17:48 Rare-Huckleberry Hyundai Elantra Hybrid reliability? Looking for fuel efficient commuter car.
Are the 2023 generation Hyundai Elantra Hybrids reliable? I hear a lot of horror stories about Hyundais but it seems they may have gotten better. They have a good warranty but I don’t want any headaches. My Tesla Model 3 is being bought back due to a manufacturer defect so I don’t want to be in service 24/7 again.
I’m looking for a gas friendly and reliable car as I have an 80 mile each way commute for the next 6 or so months. Any better alternatives? I don’t love how the Corolla Hybrid looks and the new Honda Civic seats aren’t very comfortable, the thighs were fine but it felt like my butt was on cardboard when I test drove one. Maybe I should try an Accord Hybrid?
On a separate note, the local Hyundai dealer has the Pulse Protect rear brake light pulse thing installed on all their cars. Would there be any issues were I successful in having them remove it? Or should I cut bait and find another dealer? They did say they would work with me on the stuff like that since I’m local, and claim their ADM and accessories are there to protect locals since people from out of state are a one and done transaction.

2023.06.04 17:29 Opposite-Bullfrog-57 Can Private Cities be at least an Improvement than what we currently have
https://www.reddit.com/Anarcho_Capitalism/comments/13wm3dv/can_we_have_private_cities_in_ancap_societies/
According to that, private cities are legitimate from ancap points of view. About 140 vs 20 ancap agree. Some ancap like Herman Hoppe agrees. There are many libertarian arguments for private cities.
If that's true, then ancapnistan is not just a dream. Once we have a network of private cities, ancapnistan is there. If someone wants even more freedom, just buy the city from the owner and experiment with private protectors, for example. Slowly we're getting there. You see end of tunnel.
Private cities, while may not be as free as most ancaps think, should at least be a good stepping stone.
But the issue is not just philosophical.
Microstates and private cities tend to have lower crime and lower tax and better infrastructure. If we don't care too much whether cops are paid by private or public sectors (in private cities it's paid by the owner of the private city btw, which is technically private sector), private cities are pretty close to ancap.
Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Monaco, all have lower crime and lower tax. Many things are not quite libertarian yet, but better from libertarian points of view.
Prospera definitely has lower tax than USA
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/culture/pr%C3%B3spera-bitcoin-legal-tender-explained Taxation. At least, that’s how bitcoin was initially recognized as legal tender. In Próspera,
taxes include: a 5% individual income tax, 2.5% sales tax for goods and services, 1% corporate revenue tax, and 1% land value tax. That’s it.
Not exactly 0, but lower than 50% in US.
The reason why tax is Prospera is so low is because Prospera doesn't have to deal with cradle to grave welfare recipients. Prospera is ruled by owners that love tax payers and want to keep tax payers happy. Not exactly 0 tax, but they want tax to be low and crimes to be low either.
Currently private cities still have tax. But they probably build roads and cops as efficiently as competing businesses. Because Prospera itself is a business that have to compete with other jurisdiction, it has incentives to get roads built well at the least possible costs. Doing it otherwise means extra expense that do not necessarily attract tax payers.
And low tax in private cities like Prospera means people can go to Prospera avoiding US tax. This will lead to race to the bottom when it comes to tax.
So do you think private cities and private states would be an improvement for us?

2023.06.04 17:18 UrbanFuturistic Am I selling my stuff for too little?
I mainly buy PC parts(online and local), and resell as whole gaming PC setups(local). Recently, I've noticed that the buyers, and I know that I cannot control this, are flipping my PC's. Sometimes I will leave $100-200 on the table in order to sell faster, so I'm not sitting on inventory for too long given the nature of PC parts, but I rarely ever make less than $100 per build. But my most recent sale from last week, a full gaming PC setup priced @$600 but accepted $500, is now on FBMP for $1000. It's not worth anywhere near that.
I am not hating, for obvious reasons, just trying to figure out if I am short-changing myself that much, and if there is anything I can do to shore it up. For context, I try to stay on top of what other people in the space are doing(both online and local, including the PC building meta that YouTubers and others are using), and also do everything I can do to set my sales apart, I.E.: include as much detail as possible, include real-world gaming benchmarks, and good, clean, clear pictures of each PC. If something isn't selling, I do what I can to make it sell. For instance, if it's in a plain-Jane case and not selling, I delist it, change the case to a better one, take better pictures, and price accordingly.
Do I price my listings higher, and potentially sit on increasingly depreciating inventory longer? Or do I just continue to make peace with the fact that others can potentially profit off of my labor? Or is there something I'm missing/other ideas and tactics I can employ to sell faster for higher price?

2023.06.04 17:03 JDtheBoss $TIO WHY THE PRICE FELL AND ADDITIONAL DD
After my last DD post alot of people messaged me asking why the price fell and we'll it actual is kind of a wild story so far.
So according to a recent press release the company has obtained credible evidence a ny institution was doing false marketing attempting to raise funds on their behalf and spreading false information online. Hence why the sp imo experienced that drop following my last post. They are fighting back and have two lawyer firms doing a full investigation and have no intention of doing a fund raising, here where imo it gets wild, shortly after the press release a NY institution took to Twitter claiming they found concerning information yet were NOT going to do an in depth investigation as they stated it would be overkill and were going short on tio. Immediately after there was a dip followed by a strong recovery in s.p. I'm not saying that these two are connected I just found it highly coincidental is all.
Now for some extra DD
Dubai export contract sales and order pipeline Tingo DMCC, has completed its first batch of export deals, generating $348 million of sales with a gross profit approaching $100 million.
The sales completed are part of an anticipated long-term multi-billion-dollar pipeline of export transactions, more than $1 billion of which are currently being processed for expected delivery by the third quarter of 2023
This is actually a major milestone in completing full month over month dollarization which we discussed in last post
In addition to the export of unprocessed agricultural produce, Tingo DMCC is planning the imminent launch of finished food and beverage exports from Tingo Foods, initially of rice, cooking oils, nut products, noodles and pasta, for which there is a substantial global market that the Company believes is considerably under-supplied.
Afan loan facility and future revenue fields 6.5m loan to AFAN and main focus is on wheat and rice which will accomplish a few things, this will reduce dependency on wheat imports, currently in top 3 for africa, also given wheat growth cycles I'd say it would be ready for harvest and export by q4 giving a nice uptick in revenue to assist in beating any estimates, Overall it will allow the cultivation and tools for 3000 hectares, roughly over 7400 acres of land, and have about 17.5m in market value
This past friday the had a feature on cnbc africa closing bell, discussing the loan facility and mentions of their new processing plant construction etc
In a quick turnaround they have been given a Zacks rating 1 strong buy up from a 4 sell last month as well as all A style scores to match

2023.06.04 16:28 ASTL-Token "Cycles on the Buyer's Side". What will happen to bitcoin next week.
In the first half of the week, we saw bitcoin fall to $26,505. Interest in risky assets disappeared after the release of Chinese statistics. The Chinese yuan fell to new six-month lows, which gave the US dollar additional momentum. China's official PMIs showed a faster-than-expected contraction in manufacturing activity and slower growth in services in May. In parallel, the crypto market was influenced by US statistics and debates on the US national debt ceiling. As a result, the House of Representatives and the US Senate voted in favor of a bill to raise the national debt ceiling, which stopped the sale of US stocks.
Buyers in the BTC/USDt pair again found support at $26,500. After it became known that a default was avoided, investors turned their attention to the May labor market report and the US Federal Reserve meeting. A strong Friday report spurred the growth of the dollar index. The number of jobs in the US economy in May increased by 339 thousand against the forecast of 180 thousand. The April figure was revised to 294 thousand from 253 thousand, as previously announced. The data for March was also revised up to 217,000 from 165,000, bringing the number of jobs for those two months to 93,000 higher than originally reported. Unemployment in the US rose to 3.7% in May compared to 3.4% in the previous month (the forecast was 3.5%). The average hourly wage in May increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month. In annual terms, the indicator rose by 4.3%. The market expected growth by 0.3% and 4.4% respectively. The labor force participation rate remained at 62.6% for the third month in a row. That is, the number of jobs in the US economy in May turned out to be higher than expected, but again, unemployment increased. There is a week left before the meeting of the US Federal Reserve (June 14), and statistics show mixed performance of the US economy.
US stocks closed higher on Friday after a labor market report showed job growth and modest wage growth in May. The data bolstered hopes that the Fed might miss a rate hike at its next meeting. According to CME Group, keeping the rate at 5.25% is 74%. It turns out that the market puts more into the forecast the preservation of the rate in June.
Weekly losses of bitcoin are about 3.5%. Buyer activity remains low. I noticed that bitcoin is being merged in pairs with altcoins. Against this background, ETH and LTC look much better.
The external background remains positive for the first cryptocurrency. The week has not yet closed, so the growth of quotations may continue on Sunday before the opening of markets. The OPEC+ meeting will take place on Sunday. If risky assets do not drop early on Monday morning, then all assets can be expected to continue to grow. The next week does not contain important macro statistics, and the dollar index may continue to correct to the level of 101.60 from the current level of 103.96. At the same time, the US default is delayed for a couple of years.
In general, the past week on the crypto market was ambiguous and caused some anxiety among investors. However, despite a slight decline in bitcoin, the external background remains positive, which may contribute to the continued growth of risky assets. Seasonal cycles are now on the side of the buyers and act as a tailwind for bitcoin and investing. However, investors are advised to take some time to think before making any investment. One of the legitimate forms of investment is, for example, the ASTL investment project, which allows investors to have the opportunity to directly invest fiat and cryptocurrency assets in a stable passive income that obviously exceeds inflationary expectations and is not subject to any sanctions, blocking and confiscation. The ASTL project is a simple and elegant solution for potential investors - an investment in the development of the real sector of a diversified portfolio of cryptocurrencies, with a fairly high APR (up to 14%) with payments in stablecoin (USDT) and the possibility of a full return on investment through the subsequent sale of accrued ASTL tokens on leading crypto exchanges . 2023.06.04 16:13 fuzzyfoot88 Are cigar ads legal? If so what can and can’t be shown?
Work in video marketing and am responsible for filming and editing ads for the company I work for.
A sales team member came down with an ad that needed to be done which was for a client that is technically a firearm store. However, we’ve done firearm and fishing ads for them. Now they want to cover their cigar line.
I thought there was a ban on smoking ads across the board? But according to the Sales rep, only cigarettes and mini cigars fall into that category. Regular sized cigars are fine.
Is there any truth to this? If not, how do I go about protecting myself from the situation if day the FDA gets involved?
Also for context, I work in Kentucky.

2023.06.04 15:40 qUxUp (OC) I tested the NYXI Wizard controller for a 27 days on Nintendo Switch OLED. I was bloody surprised by the A/B/X/Y buttons. Here's about a 3220 word old-school text review with some photos. Enjoy! :) (there is also a TLDR for those who prefer short posts)
| TLDR: NYXI Wizard is unique due to it's Gamecube controller inspired design and A/B/X/Y button layout. It's ergonomic for medium or large hands. The D-pad could be improved upon. Currently there is no way to turn off the blinding indicator lights, hopefully it's something that will be fixed in a firmware update. The shape, combined with mechanical triggers, mappable back-paddles, turbo and gyro make the NYXI Wizard a versatile primary or secondary controller. Lastly, the NYXI Wizard's conductive adhesive switches used in the A/B/X/Y buttons are just smashing. They are responsive and pressing them feels perfectly weighty. Whether it's GRID, Crysis, Super Smash Bros or something else NYXI Wizard has got you covered (as long as it fits in your hands). Disclaimer: I wrote everything & took the pictures. This post here is the original source. This is my second Nintendo Switch related text review in our community. The previous review was received quite well and people asked if I could do a joy-con comparison and so I asked NYXI if they are interested in providing me with their NYXI Wizard controller with the purpose of writing an exclusive review intended for the /Nintendo, /Switch/ & /NintendoSwitch/ subreddits. They were. My condition was that the review would be a pure oldschool text review with eight photos taken by me. I get to keep the controller. I won't be receiving additional compensation in any form (no commission fees, affiliate marketing or ad-revenue etc). As my Nintendo Switch controller collection grows, I might write more reviews for our Switch-related subreddits. This review is based solely on my experiences with NYXI Wizard and 27 days of testing. Note: I asked NYXI if they were willing to add a coupon code, they said yes. Here's the code: Jakk (10% off, works on NYXI's official website). Any fees earned by this code go to NYXI. It is not linked to me. If I ever chose to get my personal referral codes, where I earn income, I will state it in the disclaimer. PS Moderators if you want me to remove the code, please say so in the comments or message me. I will remove the code. https://preview.redd.it/xdrs7cbq304b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a5f7d10921a0c2dae5d13a3110289a3c2af1f384 About me. Born in 80s. I've been playing videogames since the early 90s. A NES clone was my first console followed by GameBoy and a PC etc. I'm a freelance copywriter. Professionally I've been a part of the gaming tech field & tech journalism for about two decades (Europe/Estonia). It's a interesting field, but it can have an affect on how you view or enjoy videogames. On PC my favorite videogames were Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Rainbow6: Siege & DayZ. On Nintendo Switch it's either Mario Kart 8 or Door Kickers: Action Squad. Now comes the "heartbreaking" story. I lost the ability to enjoy PC gaming about five years ago. A few years ago I wanted to buy a Christmas gift for my fiancee. She was getting burnt out at university. The users of /switch and /nintendoswitch were kind enough to answer all sorts of questions I had regarding the Switch console. So I bought her a Nintendo Switch OLED. She loved it (once she got used to the controls) and it helped with the stress. At some point I thought that I'd try one of her switch games with no expectations. Fell in love with the ability to play on a couch and less serious tone many Nintendo games have (GameBoy flashbacks). And here we are, I don't have to "borrow" her switch anymore. I have my own Nintendo Switch and too many games and controllers :) Cheers :) What this review is and is not. The NYXI Wizard will be reviewed as a Nintendo Switch joycon and compared to other Switch joycons that I own. A major portion of the review will be dedicated to real life use scenarios. A limited amount of technical details will be included. This review will not cover every detail about the NYXI Wizard (such as how to change all of the settings, pair, turbo etc). The manual has all that information and can be found online. What's a NYXI Wizard and what do I think about certain marketing? According to some a major selling point of the NYXI Wizard you will never buy another Nintendo Switch controller again and it will never develop joycon drift. We should always be skeptical when it comes to claims that cannot be backed up by any testing or examples. How do you prove the part of "forever"? While I was never sold on the promise of forever, the NYXI Wizard intrigued me enough with its unique button layout. The box & what's in the box? The box for the controller itself is a sturdy blue cardboard box. Inside there is the controller, a small manual, a 127 cm regular plastic charging cable and an extra set of interchangeable joystick rings. Maybe I'm spoiled by past experiences, but I would really have wished to see some sets of interchangable joysticks inside the box (more on these later). https://preview.redd.it/7iz1hfgt304b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=684faf0f651c15a3d6e2a8c58eb368aa1e26ac42 How's the manual? The NYXI Wizard's manual is decently written, but it's one of those rather small manuals. Luckily you can find the manual from NYXI's website https://nyxigaming.com/pages/nyxi-instructions. https://preview.redd.it/8d6sdjuw304b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=107a74eb943fca82b210f2fb1bf17614726a843a Lets talk about the interchangeable joystick rings & potential for modding. The controller comes with round and octagonal rings. Octagonal rings can be helpful in 2D or fighting games for example (Mortal Kombat). The round rings are suitable for all games but octagonal rings have more limited use. It's a nice extra to have, but it is an extra. It can be tricky to change the joystick rings for the first time. Once you replace the rings about five or more times it gets easier. https://preview.redd.it/qn5sdgl0404b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=577d0693fae3721188960bd9952988a60b091173 I personally perform better in games with the more modern round joystick rings. Obviously it's a matter of preference here. However I made more errors in movement with octagonal rings. The difference was about 7%, but to me the difference was there. Currently I have round rings installed and I don't see myself switching back to octagonal rings. https://preview.redd.it/dzy0dc23404b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a57c5964bea022d14b320891028c3a64d45262ec Note: When it comes to modding the NYXI Wizard the interchangeable joystick rings make it easier to replace the thumbsticks. You can even install original GameCube thumbsticks with some effort. A youtube video explaining the process is titled "I Made The NYXI Wizard Better..." (shoutout to 128KB). Backlit-buttons. The NYXI Wizard has A/B/X/Y buttons that are backlit and it's possible to change their brightness. Even if you turn the background light off, it only has an affect on the A/B/X/Y buttons. There are two indicator lights on top of both joycons and those cannot be turned off. It would have been a nice feature to have where the indicator lights turn off or at the very least are slightly less bright. Note: I reached out to NYXI about the indicator lights. They informed me that while currently there aren't any such plans they might be able to fix this issue in a future firmware update. Lets talk about the A/B/X/Y buttons. In comparison to Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, joycons or Hori Split Pad Pro, the NYXI Wizards buttons feel more responsive. They require a bit more force to push and it's a pleasant feeling. The 8BitDo SN30Pro has similar buttons but still not quite as good. Overall the buttons have a solid feel to them and are on the heavier side when it comes to the amount of pressure you have to apply. Among the Nintendo Switch joycons and controllers the NYXI Wizards A/B/X/Y buttons have a unique place. Note: I reached out to NYXI for more information about the A/B/X/Y buttons. Here's the reply: "The A/B/X/Y buttons on our controller use the conductive adhesive switches. We chose these switches for their durability and responsiveness. As for the force required to press the buttons, we wanted to create a tactile and responsive experience for our users." https://preview.redd.it/0m5xjuy9404b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eae6480ac63d917e43f41ef12a223ffecce1cced The layout of A/B/X/Y buttons. One thing is for sure. The button layout of NYXI Wizard is different. My favorite feature of this layout is the massive A button right in the middle. In the games I play often, A button is one of my most commonly used buttons. Because the buttons are largehave a different layout, it also brings a small challenge to re-learn the locations. It took me about 2 or 3 days. If you end up wanting to use the controller but want to make the layout a bit closer to traditional Swtich joycons then there are a few ways to approach this. - Remap the buttons in the game.
- Remap the buttons in Switch.
- Assign one of the A/B/X/Y buttons to the remappable back-paddle.
What about the D-pad? I really like the looks of hard plastic they have used to make the D-pad. But pressing the D-pad really isn't very enjoyable. The edges feel a bit too sharp, so to speak. I'm not a fan of the D-pads position either. The D-pad is the hardest to reach out of all the Switch controllers I own. Note: I think that a potential upgrade here could be to make the D-pad edges just a tiny bit rounder and move it slightly closer to the left stick. Lets talk about joycon drift and thumbsticks. Joycon drift is an issue where the thumbstick starts to give false signals to your console and move your character in a direction that you didn't intend. It happens due to dust getting into joycons or joycon wear. NYXI Wizard has addressed this by using a hall effect joysticks which is a technology that is supposed to never get joycon drift. Setting the technology itself aside, the thumbsticks feel good to use. Their movement is smooth and responsive. The Wizards thumbsticks are similar in size to Hori Splitpad Pro but bigger than the regular Nintendo Switch joycons. A standout of these thumbsticks is the rubbery finish which is very pleasant to hold. It has a nice grip and has a slightly soft feel to it. Out of all the Switch joycons and controllers I own, this is the best thumbstick finish. https://preview.redd.it/tyn167xh604b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3a3f75e060397c5dc9e19a38eafea5d65a2eafbf With confidence I can say that NYXI missed an opportunity by not including extra thumbsticks that are taller or shorter. In the end a thumbstick is a rather cheap component but it can add extra value to the gamer. My hope here is that NYXI might release additional thumbsticks of different sizes as optional accessories. The good news is that I got confirmation from NYXI that they plan to release accessories like thumbsticks with various sizes soon. https://preview.redd.it/q1cn2lng404b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e7f76014cd98e10b2cb00ca4f9050d44e003f96c The triggers. This controller uses mechanical triggers. These are responsive if you compare them to joycons or controllers that use non-mechanical triggers (such as the official Nintendo Switch joycons or the Hori Split Pad pro). It takes very little force to press these triggers which may be beneficial for longer gameplay sessions. The travel distance of the triggers is pleasantly short and the trigger makes an audiable click when its activated. The short travel distance makes it easier to rapidly press the trigger. The Mobapad M6 Gemini has similar triggers. Hori Split Pad Pro, official Nintendo Switch Joycons & Pro Controller have slightly less responsive triggers in comparison. https://preview.redd.it/63xqj92j404b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec840a5ecf52f2e34a44eb66b4aea4d308e9ef41 Ergonomics? If your hands are big enough then the Wizard is an ergonomic controller. One of the main advantages of NYXI Wizard is that while holding it, your finger position is different than when holding a Hori Split Pad Pro or the official Nintendo Switch joycon. Using different styles of controllers can be one little thing that you can do to take care of your hands and fingers. I've used it as my main controller for 27 days and am happy with the ergonomics. This means that it's my main joycon for now. At some point I will go back to Mobapad M6 and then something else or return NYXI Wizard. Gyro, mappable back-paddles. Gyro works well, even in FPS games such as Crysis. There are also mappable back-paddles present on the the Nyxi Wizard. The paddles themselves aren't very well placed in my opinion as they are a bit hard to reach, but they have a nice texture on them and a responsive feel. Among other buttons, you are able to map the back-paddles to triggers (which isn't possible on all joycon back-paddles). https://preview.redd.it/e5tuce3n404b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ee3c9e2f37263db576d672a16bdfd1a68d6a89b7 The vibration motor. The vibration motor is decent. It isn't HD-rumble, but in a way that's to be expected as the only joycons that have HD-rumble are the official Nintendo Switch joycons. All vibration settings work well, I personally liked playing on low or medium setting. The highest vibration setting was nice when the Switch's volume was louder, otherwise sound of the motor broke gameplay immersion. Bonus content: what may people with smaller hands think of NYXI Wizard? As a new part of the review I asked my fiancee (who has small hands) to test the NYXI Wizard and share her impressions. She was fond of how the triggers felt. The amount of force you had to apply and click of the triggers appealed to her. Another one of her favorite features was the way joysticks were textured. Obviously the yellow one got more praise due to its cute color. NYXI Wizard was wa-a-ay too big for her hands. She pointed out that if she had to play something that requires faster reactions, it would be nearly impossible with this controller. The size of the controller, the distance between buttons is just too great. For games like Picross it was okay, but after some gameplay time the NYXI Wizard made her hands hurt. So what's the verdict here when it comes to the NYXI Wizard if you have smaller hands? Try it before you buy it. It's likely that controller might just be a too big. https://preview.redd.it/apmj5dmk604b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6e78b5bb1168a39b2d94d1fa9b4fcc208cd4e3c Most common questions? Can the NYXI Wizard be used to wake up your Nintendo Switch? Yes it can. Will it fit inside a carry case that's meant for Nintendo Switch OLED + Hori Split Pad Pro/Mobapad M6 Gemini? No it won't. NYXI offers a case for the Wizard on their website. Can it be used as a controller? Yes it can. Final thoughts. The NYXI Wizard is a Gamecube inspired joycon/controller that is executed well with room for some improvement. The asking price of $69.99 seems to be fitting. It doesn't have a direct controller to compare to due to the unique features such as the layout and interesting A/B/X/Y buttons. In my opinion the A/B/X/Y buttons are among one of the best features of the Wizard. Yes, these four buttons aren't mechanical but they have a very pleasant resistance and travel distance. The price is worth it to those who like the size & layout of the controller and value features such as mechanical buttons, triggers & unique A/B/X/Y buttons. Will a gamer benefit from the features that come with the pricetag? Yes, we will (most of them). Will a newecasual gamer benefit from the features? Yes, some of the features (like the mechanical buttons and different layout with good ergonomics). And here is a comparison table. Rating 1-5 (5 being the best). I did my best to rate various features of the Switch joycons that I own. Keep in mind that such comparisons are subjective and ratings might vary from person to person (mostly depending on shape & size of your hands). All of these are rated as joycons and are not rated as a controller. The price is for the regular model of any controller and is based on the official pricing I found/received. This does not include sales or limited edition color schemes that may cost more. Model | Nintendo Joycons | Mobapad M6 Gemini | Hori Split Pad Pro | NYXI Wizard | D-Pad | 3 | 4 | 4 | 3.5 | Thumbsticks | 3 | 4 | 4 | 4.5 | Triggers | 3 | 4 | 3.5 | 4.5 | Buttons | 3 | 4.5 | 4 | 4.5 | Build | 5 | 4 | 4 | 4 | Ergonomics | 3 | 5 | 5 | 4.5 | Features | 3.5 | 3.5 | 3 | 4 | Included accessories | 4 | 3.5 | 3 | 4.5 | Vibration | 4 | 3 | - | 4.5 | Price | $79.99 | $55.99 | $49.99 | $69.99 | Weight | 99g | 155g | 152g | 229g | https://preview.redd.it/lu7ca0q3604b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=56b65a75a606bc6af4714062a853910b3bbbfa68 What could be improved upon: - The interchangeable joystick rings are a novelty item for most users. I would recommend them as an additional extra item/accessory that you can add to your order.
- It would be beneficial to have thumbsticks of various sizes. The groundwork is already done and NYXI has made it very easy to swap the sticks. Adding short/medium/tall stick options in the store would make sense.
- Nintendo Switch has a dedicated fanbase and a decent amount of them really enjoy changing the way their console looks. The ability to order sticks of various colors (such as yellow, pink etc) would be a treat to those who like modding their Nintendo Switch and the joycons.
- Additional color schemes and designs/transparent or semi-transparent casings for the controller might appeal to gamers. For example the recently released Zelda themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controller proved out to be a massive hit. Bonus: I got confirmation by NYXI that more colors will be released soon.
- Adding a way to lower or turn off indicator lights would be a welcome change. It's possible to turn off the A/B/X/Y lights but you cannot disable the indicator lights. Be warned: the indicator lights are BRIGHT! If you are gaming in a darker room and have turned down your Switch brightness to preserve your eyes, the indicator lights will stick out like flashlights. There is an easy fix: put a sticker on your NYXI Wizard and cover the indicator lights. However most people don't want to put stickers on their joycons for basic functions.
- Outside of the colors themselves, the plastic used in the controller is a major factor in how the controller feels in the users hands and if users consider it to be "premium". It's worth looking into different kinds of casing materials. Nintendo Switch Pro Controller has a premium semi-glossy finish and the plastic smooth. Another good example is the 8BitDo SN30Pro which uses a matte plastic casing and also feels solid.
- Making the D-pad edges just slightly more rounder would make it more pleasant to use.
- Moving the D-pad closer to the left stick would make it more ergonomic.
- Placement of the back-paddles could be improved on in terms of ergonomics.
- A compact version of the NYXI Wizard might appeal to many.
- Adding adjustable analog triggers might be considered.
- HD-rumble would make gameplay more enjoyable.
- A larger manual would benefit many customers.
- If interchangeable joystick rings ever become sold as accessories then increasing the color and finish options would be a welcome addition to the NYXI selection.

Closing notes: I hope you liked the review :) Congratulations to everyone who made it to the end! Any and all thoughts about the controller are welcome. NYXI employees will read this post and the comments. So you can use it as a easy way of giving your own personal thoughts regarding this controller (and features you would like to see). 2023.06.04 15:03 Fedricoo Gigabyte P1000GM 1000W vs. Corsair RM850e 850W
Hi! I'm looking to upgrade my PSU, as the power draw from my old 650W PSU isn't cutting it anymore, with my new 1440p monitors. Currently, I'm using an Ryzen 5 5600X, 32GB of TridentZ 3600 MHz and a RTX 2070 (which I might be upgrading in the coming year).
I've "settled" on one of the two PSUs specified in the title, as they're both in sale for roughly the same price at my retailer of choice, and they both seem to cover my needs. I've basically narrowed it down to this:
- Picking the 850W Corsair due to it being a very well-respected PSU which seems to be generally recognized as A-tier.
- Picking the Gigabyte one because it's also gold-rated while offering a higher 1000W, while simultaneously not seeming to have a bad rep.
Hopefully you can help me decide or point out any key factors I might have missed (impact of choosing 1000W over 850W or vice versa, unforseen drawbacks, etc.) If there's anything I've neglected to mention, please let me know, and I'll update the post accordingly.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I want to mention that the RM850x and the RM1000x are
also considerations, but cost noticeably more, so there would have to be a very compelling reason to choose either of those over the aforementioned two.

2023.06.04 14:56 XXBEERUSXX Respect Nahobino (Shin Megami Tensei V)
The protagonist was just a regular high-school student until one day, he entered the Takanawa Tunnel as it suddenly collapsed on him. After regaining consciousness, he found himself in a desert world known as Da'at, the realm that demons reside in. In order to save himself from the demons attacking him, he
fuses with a demon known as Aogami to become a Nahobino, an ascended godlike being. He decides to work with Bethel and Abdiel to fend of demons and protect the world, until he finds out that the Tokyo he was living in was a false reality. In truth, Tokyo was destroyed 18 years ago in a war between the forces of God and Lucifer. God then copied Tokyo back into existence, this miracle was known as the Shekinah Glory. After God was killed by Lucifer, this miracle was weakening, and parts of Tokyo were vanishing from existence. The protagonist and Aogami decide that the only way to restore the world is to assume the throne of creation and reshape the world.
A Nahobino is a god, the original form of a demon. Long ago, the Creator sealed the Knowledge of all gods in the Garden of Eden, reducing them to mere demons. One day, a serpent tempted humanity to eat the forbidden Fruit of Knowledge. Consuming the fruit gave them Knowledge, which entered their souls and was passed down for generations. If a demon or god locates a human with their corresponding Knowledge, they can fuse with their soul and become a Nahobino.
Nahobino has the power to summon and control
over 200 different demons. Demons are the incarnations of ideas born from the collective unconscious. They are shaped by the myths, beliefs and
cognition of mankind and possess magical powers. The source of their power is
Magatsuhi, a spiritual power known as Magnetite in other games.
A demon's attacks are able to cause people or other demons to bleed out Magatsuhi and
if all their Magatsuhi is lost, they will vanish without
a trace. See

2023.06.04 14:48 HyperTooth_ Is upgrading from a 250cc to a z900 to much?
Hello everyone, I’ve been looking to make the jump to my next motorcycle, but am a bit conflicted on what I want to buy. A little bit of context, my first and current bike is a Honda CRF250L. Over the past few years I have put a little over 4000 miles on it. I’m 28 years old, and when it was time to jump from my permit to license, I completed an intermediate level MSF course. My main focus for a new purchase has been something in the 650cc class (Ninja, z650, MT07), however there are currently some sales going on and a z900 has popped up for a decent price. I’m wondering if the skills I have developed in my time riding are appropriate for a bike of this size and if this is a good second bike. I always see people talking about test riding bikes before purchase, however it seems like no dealers in my area allow this. The z900 gets a lot of praise from what I can tell and seems like something that you would be hard pressed to get bored of. Just looking for some honest feed back. Thanks!

2023.06.04 14:39 dumgoon Is a 1973 Honda cb350 too old for a first bike?
There is one for sale near me. It looks really clean and runs well. I really love the styling and low seat height of these 70s Hondas. Anyways, what’s your expert advice on getting this as a first bike. Maybe someone will talk me out of it 😂. Thanks!

https://www.reddit.com/fuckcars/comments/zbx30c/this_should_be_mandatory_for_getting_a_learners/ Exemple

2023.06.04 13:25 qUxUp I tested the NYXI Wizard controller for a 27 days on Nintendo Switch OLED. I was bloody surprised by the A/B/X/Y buttons. Here's about a 3220 word old-school text review. Enjoy! :) (there is also a TLDR for those who prefer short posts & photos)
| ** TLDR:** NYXI Wizard is unique due to it's Gamecube controller inspired design and A/B/X/Y button layout. Whether it's GRID, Crysis, Super Smash Bros or something else NYXI Wizard has got you covered (as long as it fits in your hands). https://preview.redd.it/k49q2bhagz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91f994f1e24fa73c4000727b9a07096062471dd0 Disclaimer: This is my second Nintendo Switch related text review in our community. **Who am I?** Born in 80s. I have my own Nintendo Switch and too many games and controllers :) Cheers :) **What this review is and is not.** The NYXI Wizard will be reviewed as a Nintendo Switch joycon and compared to other Switch joycons that I own. A major portion of the review will be dedicated to real life use scenarios. A limited amount of technical details will be included. This review will not cover every detail about the NYXI Wizard (such as how to change all of the settings, pair, turbo etc). The manual has all that information and can be found online. **What's a NYXI Wizard and what do I think about certain marketing?** According to some a major selling point of the NYXI Wizard you will never buy another Nintendo Switch controller again and it will never develop joycon drift. We should always be skeptical when it comes to claims that cannot be backed up by any testing or examples. How do you prove the part of "forever"? While I was never sold on the promise of forever, the NYXI Wizard intrigued me enough with its unique button layout. **The box & what's in the box?** The box for the controller itself is a sturdy blue cardboard box. Inside there is the controller, a small manual, a 127 cm regular plastic charging cable and an extra set of interchangeable joystick rings. Maybe I'm spoiled by past experiences, but I would really have wished to see some sets of interchangable joysticks inside the box (more on these later). https://preview.redd.it/nsc4jorigz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c10d828b86bcc00dc7fd2af0b021d02fd9fc78d **How's the manual?** The NYXI Wizard's manual is decently written, but it's one of those rather small manuals. Luckily you can find the manual from NYXI's website https://nyxigaming.com/pages/nyxi-instructions https://preview.redd.it/6x8dg11lgz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d734b0bebd090240481762fa09ffa61110131df3 **Lets talk about the interchangeable joystick rings & potential for modding.** The controller comes with round and octagonal rings. Octagonal rings can be helpful in 2D or fighting games for example (Mortal Kombat). The round rings are suitable for all games but octagonal rings have more limited use. It's a nice extra to have, but it is an extra. It can be tricky to change the joystick rings for the first time. Once you replace the rings about five or more times it gets easier. https://preview.redd.it/nnljp82rgz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b91f1405645fbbff50218ae0ffd7439ded9873bd I personally perform better in games with the more modern round joystick rings. Obviously it's a matter of preference here. However I made more errors in movement with octagonal rings. The difference was about 7%, but to me the difference was there. Currently I have round rings installed and I don't see myself switching back to octagonal rings. https://preview.redd.it/lb544lotgz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b5e4787f5bb04068002d544006ff420139bd5f42 Note: When it comes to modding the NYXI Wizard the interchangeable joystick rings make it easier to replace the thumbsticks. You can even install original GameCube thumbsticks with some effort. A youtube video explaining the process is titled "I Made The NYXI Wizard Better..." (shoutout to 128KB). **Backlit-buttons.** The NYXI Wizard has A/B/X/Y buttons that are backlit and it's possible to change their brightness. **Lets talk about the A/B/X/Y buttons.** In comparison to Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, joycons or Hori Split Pad Pro, the NYXI Wizards buttons feel more responsive. As for the force required to press the buttons, we wanted to create a tactile and responsive experience for our users." https://preview.redd.it/d2mgxs50hz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=62d8c9ee78f0932b68a9a763b27e17a3bb897daa **The layout of A/B/X/Y buttons.** One thing is for sure.
**What about the D-pad?** I really like the looks of hard plastic they have used to make the D-pad. **Lets talk about joycon drift and thumbsticks.** Joycon drift is an issue where the thumbstick starts to give false signals to your console and move your character in a direction that you didn't intend. Out of all the Switch joycons and controllers I own, this is the best thumbstick finish. https://preview.redd.it/mrhzytkuhz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=befcca54e577de4e20006d2f0df32223133db565 With confidence I can say that NYXI missed an opportunity by not including extra thumbsticks that are taller or shorter. In the end a thumbstick is a rather cheap component but it can add extra value to the gamer. My hope here is that NYXI might release additional thumbsticks of different sizes as optional accessories. The good news is that I got confirmation from NYXI that they plan to release accessories like thumbsticks with various sizes soon. https://preview.redd.it/ewkvmcl3hz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=95bab1ac1d58bff168430a76b54a139e02c51fb6 **The triggers.** This controller uses mechanical triggers. Hori Split Pad Pro, official Nintendo Switch Joycons & Pro Controller have slightly less responsive triggers in comparison. https://preview.redd.it/9vhv47h5hz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca35f9afc8939377e1b3abed203960177a3671a5 **Ergonomics?** If your hands are big enough then the Wizard is an ergonomic controller. **Gyro, mappable back-paddles.** Gyro works well, even in FPS games such as Crysis. There are also mappable back-paddles present on the the Nyxi Wizard. The paddles themselves aren't very well placed in my opinion as they are a bit hard to reach, but they have a nice texture on them and a responsive feel. Among other buttons, you are able to map the back-paddles to triggers (which isn't possible on all joycon back-paddles). https://preview.redd.it/okc69298hz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ecdf60b35665df5c8c2f20d27879a15f153d97e **The vibration motor.** The vibration motor is decent. Most common questions? Can the NYXI Wizard be used to wake up your Nintendo Switch? Yes it can. Will it fit inside a carry case that's meant for Nintendo Switch OLED + Hori Split Pad Pro/Mobapad M6 Gemini? No it won't. However there NYXI has a carry case for it that will fit the entire beast. Can it be used as a controller? Yes it can. https://preview.redd.it/hbzqz6iihz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fd391deaeb637c957c43b0b00cc92943da7cf1fa **Final thoughts.** The NYXI Wizard is a Gamecube inspired joycon/controller that is executed well with room for some improvement. **And here is a comparison table.** Rating 1-5 (5 being the best). Model Nintendo Joycons Mobapad M6 Gemini Hori Split Pad Pro NYXI Wizard ------------------ D-Pad 3 4 4 3.5 Thumbsticks 3 4 4 4.5 Triggers 3 4 3.5 4.5 Buttons 3 4.5 4 4.5 Build 5 4 4 4 Ergonomics 3 5 5 4.5 Features 3.5 3.5 3 4 Included accessories 4 3 3 4.5 Vibration 4 3 - 3.5 Price $79.99 $55.99 $49.99 $69.99 Weight 99g 150g 152g 229g https://preview.redd.it/0hlv1k61iz3b1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=13243f09426c2717937fc610e1e20e13beb873b3 **What could be improved upon:** - The interchangeable joystick rings are a novelty item for most users.

2023.06.04 13:23 AwkwardCommission New Car Day!
| Picked it up Saturday morning. Told the dealer not to touch it. This photo is after I gave it a quick wash. First Subaru. World Rally Blue is amazing. Ordered mid-march. Arrived last Wednesday. There was even a mixup at the dealer as they gave my allotment to another customer & I got one that was built on 4/1 instead of 3/1 like I ordered. Nevertheless a fairly easy process. Subaru knows how to make the ordering process smooth. It only took 2 hours to leave the dealer with keys in hand. Let me tell you, there's a lot to like about this car but that shifting feeling as though you're rowing through gravel is not one of them. I'll take Honda's buttery smooth shifts (I’ve only ever owned Hondas) over this car's "notchy-ness" any day. 🤣 Other than that it's amazing. Already 100 miles on it. You know you love the car when you're making excuses to go for a drive-a feeling that my Accord 2.0T never gave me. Zipping through traffic is going to get me in trouble, I already know it. I look down and I'm going 55 in a 30. 🤷♂️ submitted by AwkwardCommission to GR86 [link] [comments] |
2023.06.04 13:13 TabulaRasa5678 It's a stupid question, but I won't know if I don't ask... oil change?
I haven't changed my own oil in over two decades. After a couple of mishaps, I'm beginning to not trust some techs to drive (or try to drive) my beautiful car that has a MT. I would assume that changing the oil has not changed in 20 years, but there may be some new tips/tricks. My car is a 2015 Honda Accord EX-L V6, six-speed MT.
- Start car to normal operating temperature, turn off car
- Put pan under crankcase, use 17 mm wrench to loosen plug
- Drain oil completely, replace pressure washer with a new one, replace plug, tighten slightly
- Using oil wrench, remove oil filter, check to make sure gasket didn't stick to the case
- Drain oil from filter, replace filter after lubing the seal/gasket, tighten slightly
- Add 4.5 quarts 0W-20 synthetic detergent oil (API seal)
- Check the dipstick, run engine for 3 minutes, turn off and recheck dipstick
- Cycle through function button on dash to oil level, hold button until display flashes, let go, hold button again and number should go back to 100%
- Done.
Did I miss anything or are there any new tips/tricks, please? I'm asking because this car is all bells 'n whistles. If everything isn't perfect, it will let you know.
Off-topic: I don't trust jack stands, so I'm going to invest in some car ramps. I can't believe that they sell them in plastic. You would think if you're going to put 1 3/4 tons above you, you'd pony up the extra $20 - $30 for the steel ones.
Thank you to everyone that answers. Most of you have been great in giving help and/or your opinion on my subjects that I've asked about.

2023.06.04 13:01 Chewyspedoodle7 PA: Can I do anything to get my sales license sooner?
I have two questions about getting a sales tax license in Pennsylvania.
Background: I am trying to start a company, but I'm 100% at a standstill until I get my sales license. When I initially applied and got denied, I found out that it was because I didn't file taxes for some previous years. In the years of 2019 and 2020 I had no income, so I didn't file personal income taxes (perfectly legal). However, I keep being told that I have to have these years filed to get my PA Sales Tax Permit. I mailed in my taxes 7-8 weeks ago. You have to mail previous years in and cannot file them online, according to the PA Department of Revenue. My problem is that every time I call, I get told it could take longer and longer for my filing to go through. Initially I was told 6 weeks; then 6-10, now 10-12.
1: Is there ANYTHING I can do to get my license now or faster? Like can a lawyer help me in this regard? 2: I don't owe any taxes, and I've made them aware of that, so why am I being stopped from getting my Sales Tax License?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
