I don't know how to even start this post, i'm for real sobbing rn into my stuffed animals hearing the negative voices getting louder in my brain "you're a burden to your family" "do you have any consideration for anyone?" "You're selfish" "No one can deal with you or your stuff anymore" "your family probably hates you and wishes you were never born" "you're too much to deal with" "you're so dramatic" "all you know how to do is mess things up right?"
Ever since an attempt back in March took place where i had to be rushed to the hospital and was given charcoal to drink and monitored, every night (it happened at night) i suffer from terrifying panic attacks that make it impossible to sleep and breathe, lately, after being put on cloneazepam by the hospital for my several ER visits with tachycardia (125+ bpm) i have been noticing my heart rate drop to significantly low levels in my sleep that never happened before and then was told by my pharmacist to not stay on it long term due to it lowering my heart rate/slowing it down too much/breathing problems/respiratory depression, etc and i have chronic asthma and copd so, this medicine like, messed me up and made these panic attacks at night EVEN WORSE. Now symptoms appear out of nowhere and new ones too, whether its cold sweats, dizziness, nausea, labored breathing and tight chest, stomach tightening, feeling a physical sensation of fear hit my body randomly. Like today, when i did my coping skills i managed to get myself out of the attack but it was still lingering and i had a horrible terrifying night, where my legs went numb almost and felt like they were going to give out and the room started spinning (all of this was after my panic attack got to the point of vomitting and almost blacking out) i called the ambulance bc i was extremely terrified and went to ask the girl at the front desk of the hotel me and my family are staying at (im on vacay rn) and she was so rude to me, and just laughed at me when she was like "well i don't know what you want, i dont know how to help you, just go talk to your mom or something" so...yeah.. when the ambulance got to the hotel they checked my vitals (blood sugar, blood pressure, oxygen, bpm) and once again, everything was NORMAL and they all looked at me with dirty looks and sarcastic facial expressions and looked at me like I was some freak or something which i know im am ugly girl so, I understand why... Anyways, i went back to my room after they asked me if i wanted to go the hospital i said no (thinking about what my mom said about not having $300 something to "waste" on more visits for me🥲) i went back to my room and just started sobbing after she looked at me and said she was done with me and stared at me in like, disgust and hate and this was after she "threatened me" when i told her i didnt want to sleep because i was already scared of somethimg bad happening to me in my sleep due to feeling like i was going to black out, and she was like "oh you're going to go lay down and go to sleep even if i have to make you" i asked her what she meant by that, she said she would find what pressure points she needs to for me to pass out... ... i really feel alone in all this and i dont know why i still trust people that keep hurting me, and are only capable of giving conditional love and emotional support, making me feel temporarily safe before switching on me again...

| I have been doing 45-60DTE -+ 5~7% double Broken Wing Butterflies with more focus on harvesting theta decay difference between nearer 1x long and middle 2.x short (called body of the butterfly). However, zero initial credit buffer due to recent low IV + nutty one way AI induced rally tests my newly built July butterfly pretty hard and early on. I have been actively delta hedging with futures so minimum loss so far although if market continues to rally gamma will start kicking in hard. So I'm preparing to adjust some of my tested calls farther out or stop loss altogether. I also know if this rally just pauses for a while like 2 weeks and give me some time I will get back all of my premium + @ but I came to conclusion that BWB alone is no longer going to be as much successful as it has been in the past 2 years + YTD in such low IV environment... I find that double calendar provides very similar pnl profile (~ early theta gain at the center -> limited profit shifts outward as time flies by, with higher max profit) whilst much more affordable in today's IV and added protection against IV spike. I have seen many times to confidently say that calendars are not long vega but close to vega neutral except for post earning/event moment, which I think is good enough. Anyone doing long term double calendar for such purpose as I'm thinking (harvesting net theta from nearer short). I'm not intending to be spoon fed I just want to get some insight or get to know real life caveats before I really delve into backtest / optimizing strikes and sizing part. Decarboxylation is a very important step in the process of making a cannabis concentrate. In short and blunt lamens terms decarboxylation is heating of cannabis to activate the appropriate cannabinoids. Heat and cold are the Extraction Technicians best friend, when controlled for. THCa is the naturally occurring form of THC exsisting in raw cannabis form where as THC is not present in raw cannabis. THCa is tetrahydracannabinolic acid, THC being the former word less acid, Tetrahydracannabinol.
The most important reason behind decarbing is the activation of the acid groups of compounds into their psychotropic active forms. While there are medicinal and therapeutic benefits to THCa and other Acid forms of cannabinoids, they are not therapeutic via combustion and can only be used to induce immediate medicinal therpaeutic effect in transdermal absorption, edibles, rso, tinctures etc. Though extended lomg term benefits of THCa have been suggested by studies. THCa is not psychotropic however. Very few psychoactive psychotropic benefits can be experienced from raw cannabis flower prior to decarboxylation.
Decaroxylation is one of the most important steps in cannabis concentrate processing, but is a part of cannabis use regarldess of How it is used. Decarboxylation is the addition of heat to raw cannabis or cannabis flower that has been curred. This torches the cannabis flower and upon reaching its flash point around 315° F approximately, the THCa loose a single carbon atom Carboxyl group 👉 (-COOH) while holding onto a hydrogen atom.
The atomic make up of THCa is 4 Oxygen, 30 Hydrodgen, and 22 Carbon atoms. We can see that decarbing causes the loss of 2 Oxygen atoms, 1 hydrogen, and 1 carbon atom. This is known as carbon dioxide, 1 carbon, di-2 oxide 1 hydrogen atom. Removal of said carboxyl group causes an approximately 12% reduction in THCa and converts to active THC.
This process can happen as I mentioned from combustion of plant material reaching the flash point of THC at approximately 320°F. It can also take place in a much more delicate manner whereby the THCa is converted to THC for use in products which will not undergo combustion. These are your edibles, tinctures, Rick Simpson Oil, topicals etc. These require that the THCa be ran through a decarboxylation process via lab techniques. However, the consumed compound in edibles and RSO is THC.
THCa does not bind to the receptors which are the main parts activating the endocannabinoid system, aka ECS. The ECS is a largely not understood homeostatic process involving the peropheral and nervous systems. THCa has a shape and size that prevents it from binding to CB1 or CB2 receptors. THC however has the key to both receptors.
There is not much study that has been conducted on THCa, largely thanks to the little amount of study done on cannabis. Meaning that which has been done has been on the seemingly most pertinent parts of the plant to understand given its possible recreational and inherent medicnal stance in the western World.
THCa is quite interesting in that studies have shown it to be directly beneficial to the reduction of pain by causing inhibition of COX-1 and Cox-2 enzymes. Both of said enzymes have potential to increase inflimation, pain, & fever. The interesting thing is the usefulness I have heard family and friends speak to, that being the application of topicals. I always wondered how in the world a topical would be beneficial for someone like my aunt, who smoke upwards of an ounce a week and uses pens and dabs. She finds the anti inflammirory and pain relieving properties of topical absorption of THCa extremely beneficial. She suffers a multitude of issues traditionally thought of to be treated by cannabis like gastroporesis, fibromyalgia, and inflimation associated pain.
The medicinal and recreational benefits of THC vs THCa differ darastically. THCa is not psychotropic, or as I often refer to it as psychoactively psychedelic. But has a multitude of medicnal applications through topical transdermal absorption, juicing of cannabis leaves, plant, and flower, rso, and other edibles.
THCa treats neurodegenrative diseases such as alzheimers disease, interesting given that CBD quells seizure activity in certain nerodivergent disorders. THCa is also anit spasmodic, meaning it stops muscele shaking in diseases like Parkinson disease. It also somewhat counterintuitive as an anti proliferative, considering the proliferative nature of sesquiterpenes. Said Anit proliferative attributes making it beneficial in prevention of prostate cancers.
THCa is also anti emetic to treat nausea vomiting etc and induce apetite & aid reduction in nausea. It is also analgesic in nature which means it is a pain killer. Finally like most compounds in cannabis THCa is an antioxidant that protects one from and reverses the damage caused by free radicals.
THC in addition to the plethora of medicinal applications of THCa, we have the medicinal viability of THC. Again none of this is accepted by the FDA and much comes from studies of cannabis from around the world as US peer reviewed research wasn't allowed in the US untill 2022. Atleast NOT RESEARCH without FDA manipulation forcing researchers to use cannabis from the University of Mississippi grown by government contractors to ensure low quality cannabis and sub par quality. This was the product available for study by peer reviewed researchers, ensuring FDAs plausible deniablilty while simultaneously actively controlling ability to produce results other than null. This backing down by the FDA is why we see so many synthetic cannabinoids hitting the market now. We're actually able to study the cannabis actually being used, though the restrictions are still a bit uncalled for.
The benefits of THC actually do differ from THCa. I didn't know this for the longest time. I always thought that THC was simply decarboxylIzed THCa. THC can assist with the treatment of opioid addiction, ya know, the way addicts who've suffered from the disease for years have suggested that the plant helps. For decades individuals on methadone maintainence treatment or another form of medicated assisted Treatment, aka MAT like suboxone, subtuex, or sublicaid which are all partial opioid agonists, save methadone as it is a full agonist. Ever notice how there is typically some level of THC usually below 1% while your THCa tests around 79% or 78%. When testing cannabis products, when using Gas Chrometography the amount of THCa that converts to THC is 70%, but the THCa is not measurable using this method due to the temperature decearboxylizing the THCa to its psychotropic form.
Gas Chrometography combusts the material into a gassesous form and runs this gas through filtration which is able to measure the compound levels. I Showed below a picture diagram showing these systems. Because this is the "decarbed" product meaning heat was applied to convert the tetrahydracannabinolic acid. The THC is all that can be measured using this approach, not the THCa and only 70% of THCa is converted in this process. However knowing that 70% of THCa converts to THC we can sus out the levels of both using this approach.
It is impossible to know what that initial amount of THCa was of which 70% gets converted. Cannabis confirmation of analysis testing is very complex and has many seeming double negatives and odd measuremnet standards. One of these as a good example is less than the limit of quantitation. This means that the compound is present but can't be measured in accurate levels.
Liquid chrometography is a secondary method used to produce the confirmation of analysis you find on most states cannabis Product, atleast for the medicinal cannabis products in my state. Liquid chrometography takes advantage of a universal formula used to determine the amount of THCa that gets converted to THC.
The Universal Mathematical formula is as follows.
THC TOTAL= (%THCa) X 0.877 + (%THC)
If we remember looking back, approximately 12% of THCa is lost in the extraction process, during decarboxylation. That approximates at 0.877 which is equivalent to 87.7%. 87.8 + 12 leaves 99.8%. I am not exactly certain about the .2% leftover. I will update when i do learn ablut this fact. When the carboxyl group is removed and hydrogen atom preserved a 12% reduction occurs in THCa and other active cannabinoids, those exsisiting as an acid naturally like CBGa are converted as well.
This is how the ACTUAL levels are measured in order to understand the real potnecy of the product your using. THCa for example require a temperature exposure of 220° F for 30-45 mins before decarbing begins. The key for some decarbing processes is to manipulate atmospheric pressures to lower the boiling points and flash points of cannabinoid temperatures in order to ensure the partial flashing over (that is decarbing) takes place but doesn't degrade the product. Control of atmospheric pressure is necessary so that terpenes are not evaporated as some terpnenes begin to flash over at right around 100°F. A rotovap is one way this is done for which there is a diagram below as well, showing the liquid bath and erlyn myer flask (flask with bulbous bottom). Or in a VTA wipe decarboxylationprocess. .
THCa decarbs at approximately 220° F and CBDa decarbs at approximately 245°F, exposure time being approximately 90 minutes. To keep terpenes from evaporating it is necessary to extend the length of time one runs decarbozylation process in order to lower the temperature. A chart exsists to show heat vs time and the relative output thereof i included below. According to my research the optimal temperature for THCa decarboxylation is between 252° & 293°F.
If you plan to exsist on the Recreational market as a processor of cannabis or as an individual processing your own cannabis, decarboxylation is absolutely necessary to compete with big indisytry and make cannabis product containing desired terpenes.
While decarbing can be done ignoring the evaporation of terpenes, which is why there is the issue of adding terpenes in some processing it is best to try to keep these terps especially if competing In a state where medicinal multi million dollar industry is operating.

(Sorry this is long) Something about the heightened sense of emotion made me play music all day every day. Music emotionally regulates me so it wasn't a bad thing because I was trying to stay regulated but I didnt realise it was because I was in constant fight or flight. The thing is when I moved into this apartment the thing I loved the most was the silence. Its so quiet and peaceful around here and silence started to feel eery. I needed to be texting or calling him when things got quiet and thats not like me, so this weekend I made sure to make no plans as I was suffering from adrenal fatigue from the aftermath and today I woke up and felt real peace again. I appreciated the quiet. Yes I still have things ruminating through my mind, still connecting the dots and seeing the red flags clear as anything but at least I'm starting to finally feel free.
I'm also recognising all the bad things that happened and where I kept my strength that I managed to consistently keep throughout. Here are some examples of our convos. I'm just writing so I remember to look back at this if I spiral.
- He once said I was his priority after 2 months and I replied well I shouldn't be. He said why? I said you should be your own priority. Have to take care of yourself so you can take care of others. He then quickly changed it to his mum
- He once said I'm the most important person in your life and I said no you're not and he said well I'd like to know who comes before me. I said I have a long list (as a joke) as its really my family, friends and my studies that come before any boy unless they're my long term partner or husband. All this stuff was within 3 months!
- Don't forget who gave you the best sex of your life- bare in mind after we had sex the first time the first thing he was 'what's wrong????' I said nothing I'm just chilling. Kept asking me if I was OK so when I told him eventually the sex was great it went to his head.
- I once told him that to me being cool is being your most authentic self. He said he thought being cool was being selfless and helping the vulnerable lol how I laugh at that now. He hurts the vulnerable. I was even tempted to check Google and see If he found that answer online somewhere.
- I kept calling him out on his behaviour because I told him I have been with fuck boys before him and my tolerance was low. And he said (begrudgingly) 'its good that you call this stuff out a lot of people keep it to themselves and get on with it'
- On one of our last calls before I blocked him I said let's have some space so you can sort your head out and I can go back to being me and he said 'well if I never speak to you again have a nice life' I was like what? He did a very sinister laugh and said IM JOKING! 7 . One day I called him and said I felt like he lost interest and was scared I would get hurt. He barely reassured me as this was the beginning of his 'depression'. It was because he ate 2 pizzas the night before and was feeling fat. Thats why he had been distant. When I reassured him I liked him for him he was like ok.
- that night he called me in a panic to say he sent a pic of his privates to another girl and then called me straight away to help him remove his socials. He just told me he had been blackmailed and didn't tell me the reason as to what he did until I helped him. I ended it 3x throughout but this was the 1st and he said 'I honestly didn't think you'd end it when I called' this was early on and should have been my first sign of the person he was but I really believed he was in a bad place and needed help. he didn't call me to own up. He just needed me to help him get out of the mess he made, calm him down. He didn't realise what he did would hurt me until I called it out. God knows how many girls he did it to before he got found out. I thought 'is this how weak he thinks I am that he could do that and then call me and think it would be fine' but I did help him and told him we all make mistakes, you've learnt and grown from it so we can move on. If only I knew how much worse it was going to get. This was just his way of solidifying I was in his web and he could do whatever he wanted.
that's all that comes to mind for now but the reason I'm posting all this is because when I ended it I felt weak for putting up with it. I blamed myself for being needy and always wanting answers and not just letting him get on with his 'depression' but I read something on here the other day. There were always red flags we just make them green. I'm proud of myself that I managed to keep my self worth throughout in some way. Yes I took him back after emotionally cheating, fell for all the right things he said to me every time, started chasing harder once he discarded and let him act superior over me for a while but there was some kind of consistency in how I would talk to him and I'm glad I always fought back and had my say. He is not a good person and he never cared about me but I'm glad I cared more about myself to leave. I feel sorry for his next victim, I'm lucky I made it out when I did. When I asked him if he still had feelings for the ex he stayed in constant contact with he shouted at me. That was it, there was no going back. I hate being shouted at, from past trauma and I just knew the mask was off and if I stayed he would punish me worse and I didn't want that. I thank my ex for providing me with safe and secure love for showing me what I deserved before being with him because without that I know I would have stayed for years, holding onto the good. He's the real reason I left. Thank you.

| I get an order that is 6.8 miles away... so that is 13.6 mi. round trip. Pays $10.80. I honestly dont know why I accepted it. When leaving Carl's Jr., I read in the delivery instructions that their house is at the end of a dirt road. I deliver in a small city. Not "The Town of...". Little back story: I spent the better part of four hours today detailing my car. I take care of my stuff, and take pride in presenting myself as a well put together professional. I want people to be comfortable with me when I show up. First impressions and all. When I read the details, I text the customer hoping they were like my last delivery, at the beginning of a dirt road, and that I could walk the food in. No, they say 1/2 mile, it's more like 3/4 as it turmed out. I truly was hoping that maybe they would offer to come to the end of the road to get their food. No dice. I waited a 10 minutes to see if they were picking up what I was putting down. Nothing, no response. So I park my car out on the paved road and walk the order into their creepy, in-the-middle-of-nowhere dirt road. It took some time to walk up the steep hill 3/4 mile dirt trail. I contacted support on the way so I wouldn't get a contract violation for being 15 minutes late. The pictures are S23 night shot. Aside from the full moon peeking here and there it is pitch black. The S23 does wonders in low light situations. Now the question. Am I an ass for not wanting to take my car down some fucked up dirt road? I spent close to $50 on supplies and hours of labor detailing it. 2023.06.04 09:46 aK-th3-0n3 PC literally can’t play the game (crashes)
Wondering if anybody else is still having issues??
Game is literally unplayable for me so far. I got the early access to play this weekend because I knew I wouldn’t have much time to play during the official release week.
I’m getting crashes every 5-15 mins (sometimes I can go about 30 mins) varying from crashes to desktop with error codes to full on hard locks that require me to restart my pc.
I’m on the latest graphic drivers, have gotten the patch from yesterday and today, pc is up to date, rolled back the hi res texture pack, checked for repairs to the game files, disabled Nvidia reflex, tried windowed mode, reduced and messed with all graphics settings and I’m still crashing. I haven’t had issues this severe with any other game I’ve played and didn’t have any issues during open beta or server slam.
My pc is getting old by todays specs but still pretty decent. Ryzen 7 1700, 1080ti, 32gb ddr4 3200, game installed on a ssd. While playing the game runs extremely smooth, I’ve been monitoring resources and I’m around 110-120fps roughly on high settings with a few things on medium (1440p resolution). Have dropped almost everything to medium to low and still having issues.
From what I can gather my VRAM continually fills up until I crash. Leading me think it’s a memory issue, but I’ve yet to see the full 11GB used. The game will start off using 6.7GB or so of VRAM and it keeps going up to about 9.5GB when crashes occur. I’ve hit 10GB once. GPU utilization is around 80%-85%, CPU at 50%-55%. Temps are normal for me PC is water cooled.
Any advice or anyone else having this much trouble?

She said she still likes/loves me but she doesn’t think it’ll work out in the future. I understood her reasons but it’s just really tough on me. I haven’t been in many romantic relationships and this is by far the one I felt the strongest about. Which is why I feel like I am at such a low point right now. well english is not my main language so sorry for any errors, i need help, my mom is very sick person, she talks shit on everyone and about everything around her, she hates everything, she keeps telling me everyday that everything that is wrong in her life is my fault, i never had a dad and he never did anything about me, and my family kept scaring me about him telling me he was bad and i got in contact with him via internet but i never got to met him because im kinda scared to go to his city to meet him and he never seemed to want to see me in my city so i kinda gave up on him, but my mom is getting worse everyday with me, she treats me like trash, i try to do everything for her, like cleaning the house, cleaning the bathroom, washing the dishes, i take food for her, she always buys delivery food and makes me get it for her, and i also cook for myself everyday because im trying to go on a diet and my mom keeps trying to sabotage me in every way, on the pandemy i needed to stay inside with her and i really almost gave up completely, i lost almost every friend because i got in depression and couldnt keep up, my mom keeps humilliating me for trying to go on a diet, and started to do some exercise, she keeps telling shit about me saying that i will get sick with kidney stones because i started to drink protein powder because i went on a nutricionist and she made me a protein focused diet, (she only eat processed food, fast food and tons of soda)and im trying really hard to focus on this to try to get less afraid, because i feel very afraid to go out and with low self esteem i tried to go for therapy but it didnt help at all because the therapist would at the end of the therapy throw some bait stuff that i needed to talk alot but it was always on the last 3 minutes of the section, and i would need to wait a week because he would open the door and standing on and i stopped going on him because of that, i dont have a job currently so i cant move out easily, i am trying to land jobs but i had no luck yet, i used to freelance in a restaurant that closed and tried some IT freelancing. my mom provokes me everyday, and when i finally get angry she starts saying that i shouldnt stop going for therapy because im acting crazy, she says like she is the victim of everything, she talks shit on me for the whole family, my family is really absent (the mom part) my father part i dont even know anyone, my mom talks shit on everyone of the family on their back, i was making a online course and she tried everyday to mess with me during my classes to make me lose my attention (it is a course on phyton basic programming)she makes me go low doesnt matter what i do for her, and i dont know what to do i really want to escape from her apartment but its really hard because i really feel trapped and dont know where i should search a job, and i feel really sad about life, i am so tired of hearing my mom talk shit about everything everyday, i dont have nowhere to go, i am trying for so many years already, sorry for the long text and thanks for anyone who is reading, today i just felt so completely alone that i got some courage to talk about myself here, it was my birthday recently but no one got in contact, maybe they forgot it is okay but i feel really alone

Allowed to buy: uni stationery supplies, when the current batch runs low. Food. Gym membership. Streaming service. Things that aid in the declutter effort. I'm allowing myself two more hardcover notebooks for during lectures next semester, but that's it.
Not allowed. Stickers, journal decor stuff. I need to work through what I have already. Yarn, unless I bite the bullet to make a merino jumper. Clothes, or underthings. I have so fucking many. Pens. Holy shit, I could probably complete 2 more years of undergrad without buying pens.
Today was Day 1, and I have bought nothing new. Yesterday I bought a new sports bra (I've taken up running, and my crop tops... uh... they ain't cutting the mustard.)
