Hello docs, Here's my info: 25yo Female, taking no medications, had Covid 3-4 weeks ago, normally anxious but I've managed to control it, yesterday was something else tho.
Last night I was with my family in our car, driving back from a long trip, the car was silent and an incredibly random though went though my head. Something like "What if right now I shout out all my disgusting kinks and they all listen in horror" and then I felt like I'm saying to myself "You won't do that" but still I felt like I'll shout it out any second now, so I grabbed my water bottle in panic and filled my mouth with water so I wont be able to speak... Then i put on the radio so there will be some sound and I striked a convo so there will be even more sound.
The thought were still there and lurking like "This wont help, you will shout something sexual and disgusting". I had a full blown silent panic attack in this car and 30-40 minutes of the ride were with my mouth full of water.
Only thing close that has ever happened was two years ago, when I got high by myself at home and I said to myself "What if you jump from the balcony right now" and I panicked and started to close all the balcony doors and began pacing around the apartment so I can distract myself, because my mind was telling me to jump.. I know it sounds crazy, I haven't smoked since then.
So why is this happening? Life's been good recentry, anxiety was under control. Even as I'm writing this I'm thinking "So I'll go out in a few hours, what if I start screaming at the center of my city like a lunatic, what if my mind fucks me over", etc.

I moved here many years ago. I must admit, I was terribly unsure of this place when I first arrived though. I spoke with a lot of friends that lived in different countries and none of them had been here before. I liked this idea, because I wouldn't be influenced by their opinions. I guess you can say I'm a bit of a romantic and I wanted to make my own story.
I'll never forget my first few experiences here, right off the airplane and through passport control, my service bus driver couldn't find me and when he did he was furious. We would go on to be stuck in atrocious traffic for 2+ hours after exiting Sabiha Gökçen. He let me smoke a few cigarettes in the back as I was the only pick-up. A language course took a chance on me and gave me a job while I was living in a different country, they arranged the pick-up. To be honest, they had no business hiring me as it was a huge risk for them - I didn't have any experience. But I'm happy they took it because Istanbul, and Türkiye in general, gave me so much I have no idea how to pay it all back.
At that particular language course, I made life-long friends with a couple of foreigners. But I must admit yet again, it was the foreigners (other Americans, English, Australians to be precise) that put me off of this place. Yes, there were some Turkish cultural things I couldn't understand (the Istan-bulldozer, specifically; the guy who walks directly into you was one of them). However, I grew to learn and accept many things here, and even adapted some of them into my character because Turkish people have a resilience, positive outlook (that may have disappeared) and an iron strength to take risks and not be afraid of them.
It wasn't until I met my first local friends that I started to really fall in love with this place. The amount of deep, heart-felt, caring and warm conversations we've all had over the years are fresh in my mind as if they were yesterday. My Turkish friends weren't afraid of their emotions and sharing a part of themselves, these types of moments I had always struggled to find back in the States. We are often hyper-individualistic, opportunistic, and competitive. Not always bad things, but we mustn't ever forget our group identity as well. I consider myself an open person, I like to get to know people, I love human connection - I found a home away from home in a very distant country. My family is close, we speak often, when I opened myself up to the Turkish culture I started to find more similarities between Turkish people and my family. I have an insane great-uncle back in Galicia whom many have stated: "if you needed it, he would give you the shirt off of his back" and that really describes Turkish people in a general sense. I love my Turkish friends, and I will never be able to thank them enough for making me always feel at home. I felt out of place at times in the US, I have rarely felt this way before here. I love the Turkish culture, the language, the food, the nature, the hard-work and can-do attitude.
I've been fortunate to see a lot of the world (at the expense of savings/investments, while I don't regret it, it would be nice to have some of that money now) and I can confidently say there are only two places in this world I ever need to see again and that is the USA, and Türkiye. I've been all the way to Indonesia, up to the UK, down to South Africa; nothing compares to the Aegean coast and I will be happy to visit every year if I can. I thank God a million times, or whoever is up there, that put me on the path that led to Istanbul.
I'm writing this into the void, but it's needed. I left the USA a child and I'm returning to the USA a man. I thank the Turkish people for all of this. I thank them for all of the life lessons, and for giving me my work ethic. No one works as hard as Turkish people in my experience. I'm leaving with my wife, and our future child.
Do we want to leave? No. For us personally, life has fallen apart and only gotten worse over the last 4 years. When the taxi drivers ask why we're leaving, I always start the conversation that things were fine before COVID, but quickly got worse. It's really irrelevant to list off everything that has happened, if you speculate, there's a chance you'll make a list of 10 reasons why we're leaving, and you'll be correct 8/10 minimum. I hate politics, I didn't used to hate politics, I once made it a huge part of my identity. But that doesn't matter, no one should be in power for 20+ years, and it disgusts me that he will get another 5. What's upsetting is that any rational person understands that the only constant is change, so why not change something? Doesn't everyone need it? Haven't every single one of us here lived through enough? Green beans / kilo 60TL? I've watched my purchasing power, my salary, my comfortable life as a foreigner in Türkiye disappear into nearly nothing. This is no place to raise a family, this sends the wrong message. I hold only contempt for the ignorance that continues to enjoy their suppression and lack of vision for their future.
The discussion about leaving began 3 years ago, I don't blame Sunday evening's result on this. We knew that things would perhaps continue to get difficult even if the one who we all wanted to win had won. How can you put back together this mess in a quick manner? No one will be able to do so, it will take years to correct the course economically, and that correction may take another 5+years on top of the 5 we all must wait for. I wanted a simple middle class life, that's always been my goal. An apartment, one car, two kids. That is impossible with the current salary that I make. Impossible. I hear from many supporters that the people here in Türkiye live outside of their means. Bullshit. A 2016 Hyundai does not cost 800,000 TL and any ignorant fool should see that.
There is no freedom to speak your mind here, my boss simply stated "Turkish people love to be controlled and told what to do, they don't want freedom". I'm sorry to say, I agreed with him. This of course excludes the ones who didn't vote for the status quo. If there were a freedom to speak your mind, this wouldn't have happened. One day, I hope you'll enjoy the pleasure to say something along the lines of Fuck you Trump, Fuck you Biden - it's something that is relieving and important in any functioning society. Enough with insult laws, what pettiness.
So, thank you for everything, I'll be back every year. I love this place, and I will never forget what it gave me. I hope for all of you that you will survive this storm. Knowing Turkish people, you will. Türkiye is a safe, warm, and welcoming country, please never forget this. Godspeed, see you next time.

Full disclosure, we don't mind that he meows a lot. He's a very vocal orange boy and he's a sweetheart! The issue is that we don't live together, he lives with his sister and her boyfriend and they both have at home jobs (which they got AFTER my boyfriend moved in with his cat.) This also may turn into a bit of a rant so I'm sorry!
My boyfriend adopted his cat when he was a little over a year old and he just turned two! We've learned he meows for many reasons, but especially food. We've talked to a vet about this behavior and we were suggested that he give him small portions throughout the say so he feels full.
He meows incessantly in the early morning for food and despite my boyfriends efforts of trying to calm him down whether it be giving him a little bit of food throughout the day so he feels full (he's a bit on the chonky side so we're trying to help maintain his weight), laying on the floor with him to calm him down, or even just trying to quiet him down by talking and giving attention to him, sometimes it's no use.
His roommates, however, HATE him. They don't like his NEUTERED cat can't help but sometimes mount their unspayed cat while she's in heat. They don't like it when he meows during the day because they have at home jobs and can't let him be heard so they keep him locked in his room when he's at work so he ends up sitting in there alone while they play video games after their shifts are over.
Their dog who's a lab german shepard mix even had bladder stones because they wouldn't let her outside and yelled at her for peeing on the carpet of their apartment and it was my boyfriend who actually took her outside to use the bathroom at around 3 in the morning and basically told them "Hey there's something wrong with your dog GET HER CHECKED OUT!!!", he's even caught them stealing HIS cat food from the container which they deny.
Anyway, I digress. I could go into a whole separate post about them, but again, we don't mind that he meows. We love him very dearly and we wouldn't change him because that's just his nature. We just don't want to be in a situation where his cat is being mistreated while he's out at work because they can't handle him meowing. They've even slammed the door on him and hissed at his cat because of the fact he meows so much. He's orange so I would say he's more than a little special, but with a recent argument between him and his roommates, I don't want things escalating any further with them, especially since I can't be there to help his cat or the animals they take care of.
I'm worried. I know they probably wouldn't go so low as to physically hurt him, but I've seen how they treat their animals. During the argument, his sister's boyfriend even accused my boyfriend of "breaking their dogs back" because he was the one who decided to ACTUALLY take her out to pee instead of LITERALLY LOCKING HER IN HER CRATE WHILE SHE WAS WHINING AFTER SHE PEED ON THE FLOOR and she just so happened to act weird after that incident. He said this to him because he accused them of stealing his snacks he keeps in the closet. Which they did steal. But they denied. Right. She ended up getting surgery to get the bladder stones removed so she's okay now, but I can't stand them.
Me and my boyfriend love his cat to death so we want to find solution to this ONE issue. Other than the fact he meows a lot, there is genuinely nothing wrong with him. He even gets along with his roommates cat and dog! I was going to tag this as behavioral, but I'm also concerned not only about his meowing, but also his safety in general. Is there anything either me or him can do? I would say talking to them about his cat and treating him the way they do would probably be a no go because they're super arrogant and refuse to own up to anything and try and gaslight him about the way things in the apartment go. They're a couple and there's only one of him so anything he says that they don't agree with isn't going to change much. My boyfriend is going to be moving out soon, but again, I don't want things to get any worse. My boyfriend has a life outside of the apartment and isn't home 24/7 like his roommates are. He can't be there all the time to see what goes down and last time they locked him in his room, they even shoved a blanket at the front of it I guess to stop him from pawing underneath the door, which was brought up in the argument they had.
We have patience. We can handle an animal misbehaving. If there's anything we can do, please tell us.

Here is a lil story about the last year of my life... I wonder if the crazy stalker I married for all this crap to blow up will find it... but it is a testimonial that has been provided to an officer friend of mine just in case.
To whom it may concern:
I am writing out this testimonial in the event that my wife pursues unjustified legal action against me.
A year ago my wife and I had separated due to unresolvable issues… during that time frame she was contacting previous relationships and family members trying to get them to admit to actions on my behalf that never occurred… such as sexual abuse to family members or physical abuse to ex relationships.
Accusations were made by her making claims I had been in contact with her ex boyfriend and was conspiring with him to upload “nude” photo’s of her and that he was doing the same because their relationship “ended badly” and she had read a random post on reddit about a lady that was being recorded previously.
I had asked to see said post but by that time the post had “miraculously disappeared” so no evidence of said post could be found. From there accusations were made by my wife accusing me of recording her 24/7 and watching her. Later she had made comments to a neighbor that was a friend of ours saying that the landlord was also recording everyone and watching them.
She had contacted family to get her and her animals to move back to Arnprior. Throughout a 6 month period I would receive texts with wild accusations about how movies were based on her life… crazy individuals in said movies were me and that we had to discuss what was going on.
She had also requested that I send her a few of her items via Purolator however I did not because anytime she made said request… the next day she would be telling people I was intolerant to transgender… potentially a serial killer and many other disgusting false accusations to my character.
Finally I had gone over a month without hearing from her, started to get my life back in order… then our anniversary came around and she had contacted me again with a complete tone shift… she wasn’t making any wild accusations against me but she apologized admitting her head was in the wrong place… and that her grandfather was very ill and she missed me.
So we got to talking again… I got emotional feeling like I was hearing my old wife again… loving, caring, compassionate… still a little “out there” but hearing the genuine… her in the tone of her voice… from there we continued to talk over the phone for a few months… things were getting a bit rocky but when she got very stressed about what was going on in Arnprior… she would slip into a manic state…
She had talked about how she was special… god is a space whale talking to her… and she needed to build a space catapult to benefit man kind and to show the world that she was more capable than anyone ever gave her credit for… also claiming she is highly intelligent but has just been hiding it from the world.
At this point I had relapsed back to the emotional I want my wife back… I want my family back state so my judgement got bad at this point… she clearly wasn’t all there so to speak but after about a month of talking on the phone my only concern was to “get my wife home” and try to help her with the relentless love method… express my appreciation… pride for her… etc etc almost hourly.
She had finally made it back home with the help of one of my friends… unfortunately she had set my friend off during the drive because the duration of the trip my wife was… well saying how one of my coworkers was dangerous because he had a bad alcohol issue and cocaine habit during his depression…
This set my friend off because my friend knows this particular gentleman and his struggles and knows he isn’t a bad guy at all… so she quickly shut down that conversation… I gave my friend 250$ as appreciation for her bringing my wife home.
When she got back into the house… immediately it felt like she had never left… in the sense she didn’t need any readjusting period despite being gone for so long… as soon as she was back in the place she was already proceeding to set it to her fashion… which I didn’t mind I wanted her to feel at home because for me it was her home too despite everything.
She had lost her financial backing with ODSP due to dishonesty and not following their instructions in regards to a house she had half ownership with a previous relationship with but she had just signed over the place to him to quickly sort that matter however she couldn’t do that in Arnprior as the office was located in Renfrew for ODSP.
After getting settled for a few months she had gone to talk to ODSP as per my instructions to get back on as… she was causing tension financially so to speak. I wanted to keep my wife happy at that time… so I was spending money to keep her happy or attempts to… but later she started saying it was causing a financial sword over our heads… and the things I got her pissed her off more because as she put it… she should be able to do this stuff for herself and “not have a man do it”… from there getting angry at myself and the government for her financial situation or lack there of.
It did bug me I was working my ass off to support my wife and her pets… and when mention of wanting a pet of my own I was denied because we “couldn’t afford it”… but she wanted karate lessons, she wanted supplies for arts n crafts… she wanted to try variations of foods for her health benefits and when they didn’t pan out (none of them did) it’d just cause more issues.
She began to fall back into her old habits… living in her own filth… mountains of used Kleenex… sleeping all day, doing nothing to really contribute… I didn’t mind because I thought I was helping my wife get rest… then it felt like she was just out to find any reason to literally scream at me… We had spent many years enjoying open world survival games together, does a lot of exploring… It got to the point anytime her character got attacked I was accused of abandoning her… not just in the game but suddenly now I was doing it in real life too… I explained to her it’s a game, and I am there for her when I can… both virtually AND in reality… as you can imagine that was not met with kindness or understanding.
From there I was accused of not understanding the situation and not listening… that day I came home from work after an entire day of horrifically heartless texts from her, to find her gone… nothing but a passive aggressive painting of a black streak across a white canvas… her non married initials signing the work and a letter stating that since I didn’t understand anything maybe this painting will spell it out for me.
She later returned to not say a thing, just stormed off to the room to give the silent treatment (take a nap) then woke up hours later to aggressively inquire if I got the hint… I just apologized… didn’t want to set her off more and there was nothing I could say that will make her feel better… or less hostile… so I swallowed my pride as guys seem to be taught to do against losing battles. Then later came out informing me to shut up… don’t talk… don’t move… don’t even breathe… “Shut the fuck up and listen to me”… and I did…
From there she grew more angry… I would attempt to take her out for breakfast… a nice walk during nice days… and it didn’t matter… if she saw someone walking their dog without a leash regardless of how well trained the dog was she would flip out for the rest of the day about how it’s irresponsible, that dog was probably the dog that bit a squirrels tail (there was a stumpy tailed squirrel in the park) and how the lady was probably a horrible mother to her kids… just completely scattershot anger.
By this point I was frustrated… I worked my ass off daily to make her happy, feed her and her animals, and all I was getting was spite and hatred… I couldn’t talk to her about anything or anyone because it would set her off… I was done at this point, saying how all she did was find some reason to get angry… insult my coworkers (the troubled guy)… and all she could say was it was my fault… I make the world seem so horrible… I made those people sound so horrible… I had mentioned my coworkers bad habits but defended him stating he went through hell… he’s not a bad guy, I listed off all the wonderful things he did for complete strangers… that wasn’t met with understanding… I was accused of doing cocaine, hanging out with the guy doing bad things and that I was JUST as bad as he was for defending his troubles… I wasn’t defending I was understanding.
By this point I was so broken down she had stopped to ask me one night… and I saw the blank emotionless expression on her face and deep down I knew she was in a manic state… but asked me… “Do you hate me?” I said no… I love you… but I hate the way you escalate everything… a walk in the park can destroy your day… nice things ive done for you… you found a way to turn that against me and make me feel bad for trying to love and take care of you. I don’t hate you but I don’t feel like you love me… honestly I feel like you hate me.
She escalated it… screaming how she doesn’t feel loved, she feels like I’m treating her like a ticking time bomb and I cant just BUY her affection with trinkets… I never honestly bought her anything short of a massager for her pains… everything else she had specifically asked me to purchase with some speech about why she needed it… I was literally begging her at this point not to escalate… HEAR MY WORDS… PLEASE… She stormed off to the room yet again… I didn’t want to share a bed with her so I slept on the couch… I also had to work in the morning time.
I woke up early in the morning at around 6 for my shift at 8am… she was up, hopping in the shower, saying she’s going out (she never goes out) and she doesn’t want to be here with me here cause I “hate” her. I proceeded to inform her I didn’t want her there anymore… I didn’t want to keep being a scapegoat for her unresolved traumas… yea bad thing to say but that’s essentially what was happening… generally happens between folks and still happens to me this day… severity depends on the person screaming at me… So while I was in the washroom before going to work she storms out of the room screaming “YOU NARCASSISTIC RAPIST ASSHOLE!”… I was done by then, I’ve taken a lot of her false accusations over when she left the first time… and since she returned…
I got out of the bathroom informed her she needs to leave!... and went to work while getting her screaming and trying to chase me out the door. From there she proceeded to post lies about what happened… so at this point I got annoyed… temporarily changed the wifi password because she didn’t pay for it anyways and I wasn’t offering it up to someone blasting me with lies on the internet…
By the time I returned home from work I changed it back because I knew she needed internet to find her way out of my home… she didn’t realize… said I was trying to trap her there and left to go sit at tim hortons. I had sent her a message saying I did change it back before I even got home but you didn’t notice clearly… but I changed it back BECAUSE I don’t want you to stay and I know you needed it to find someone.
She came back a few hours later grabbing her stuff and her dog… asked me to watch her cat till she could return for her… Which I did, I loved Carrie and despite my wifes accusations of me being abusive towards animals in the past and a public reddit post that had also stated that her pets were scared of me… she clearly wasn’t concerned about leaving her cat with me… and rightfully so, I fed her when I woke up and fed her again when I went to sleep until she came and collected her.
This time around I didn’t say bye to the cat like I did the first time she left… holding Carrie and bawling my eyes out cause I didn’t want… any emotional farewells… She came back with a notoriously known junkie in town whom she was moving in with. This lady was apparently in an abused women’s group so my wife had given her some sob speech I’d imagine… the boo hoo my husband is abusing me when the reality was quite the opposite.
She had started showing up in my apartment when I wasn’t there with this individual I didn’t trust with good reason (she later stole from my work… or her sleazy drug addled boy toy).. so I had informed my wife I didn’t want her showing up with this lady while I wasn’t there because at this point I didn’t trust ANY of them.
December 9th she had contacted the police for an escort to pick up her stuff… saying how I wasn’t allowing her to, I was being unreasonable all because I asked she didn’t do it with her friend when I wasn’t there… hell she had the option to come alone when I wasn’t there if that made it easier… but she didn’t feel “safe” so she came by collected her things with the police, I stood outside chatting with them… they didn’t seem too impressed with her and rightfully so with what followed..
The officer had informed me that she had reported that I was sharing explicit pictures of her… but she didn’t have anyone SAY I was… didn’t have any evidence stating I was (cause I wasn’t) but she wanted it to stop… how the hell would she think I could stop anything if I never started it… so I informed the officer any “loving” pictures I had from my wife that she voluntarily (and did) send me… were long gone and she knew that… Officer said okay she will let her know… and everyone parted ways.
I started up my night schedule with work a month or so later to find a pounding on my door at 10:30pm… thinking ah crap… only person crazy enough to show up at my door at that hour when I never get guests… is her… I opened the door and an officer is standing there… asks me if I knew Marie… I said in an unimpressed tone yes… that is my wife who has been trying to make my life a living hell… he looked at me with understanding and informed me that she had reported me for “sexual assault” however… they had to inform her that alleged dirty pictures… wasn’t sexual assault (it was over pictures again) I informed the officer that I had told the officers who showed up December 9th that the pictures were long gone already.
He apologized for the inconvenience and informed me that they were getting a little tired of her constantly showing up and harassing them over all of this stuff when its pretty clear im not doing anything… she was wasting their time and mine and everyone was getting tired of it.
I get to work that day and my coworker informed me that the junkie (she knew her too) had called my work to put in a complaint against me… saying I violated her privacy when she was a guest at my workplace (I wasn’t employed here during that time so she shot herself in the foot) then proceeded to tell my coworker that she was going to apply for a job here but didn’t feel safe with ME here and that I had sexually assaulted my wife. (I informed the cops of this slander and they informed me they’d talk to them about it, not sure if they did or not)
From there I hadn’t heard much until she got a job as a crossing guard at a school in town… a school one of my coworkers had kids going to… from there she overheard my wife saying very unpleasant things in front of the kids… the parents… and my coworker had reported her for it… didn’t hear any follow up I just thanked my coworker for being the first person to stand up for me rather than just say “Ignore her, we know the truth even if she doesn’t”
I started talking to an amazing person online recently through a dating website… go figure… I’m willing to bet if I ever started dating this person my wife will claim that I cheated on her with this person I didn’t know prior to her departure or some other crazy accusation… It’d be nice if she just left town… she is just annoying the people here… hurting me… and doing nothing to help her own reputation… People were mad that I brought her back and I don’t blame them… I hate myself for it too... stupid me though i put my heart out on the line and what did i expect from someone who couldn't handle her own physical let alone mental health and was too busy going after everyone else's to distract from her own.

Context: I live in an apartment and there are only apartments around me for quite some distance (no homes).
This really irritating motomechanical sound happens multiple nights a week between 10-4 am (ish). It goes on for several hours consistently without a break. It is at least one block away because I live at the end of the street and there is a large space between me and the next building where it appears to be coming from. So it is NOT a vacuum cleaner or hairdryer as there’s no way it could be heard at this distance.
Any ideas would be so helpful. It easily permeates the windows and it’s so irritating to try to drown out with headphones while trying to sleep.

Context: I (19M) haven't always gotten along with my parents (like most teenagers) but holy shit I'm at my final straw. My parents are rather conservative when it comes "extracurricular" activities and are sober on literally everything excluding caffeine. This caused quite a bit of tension growing up, especially when my dumbass got hooked on nicotine before I could even drive. I also picked up weed mostly impart to help my anxiety and insomnia at night. Throughout high school I was caught with vaping three times and smoking twice and because of that my mom became the Gestapo. Everything I did was thoroughly questioned, needed a valid reason, or straight up insulted. On top of that I was required to have a tracker on my phone that was thoroughly monitored (even in uni, they threatened to stop paying for it if I touched the tracker).
Fast forward to today. Obviously once I moved out and got a job I picked up smoking again and maintained the nicotine (I'm aware how stupid I am). I come home today from flying my girlfriend across the country (same uni) to find my mom had gone through my car while I was gone. In the car I had a leftover vape, rolling papers, and a lighter, all of which she found. She immediately begins telling me that from here on out she won't trust me at all and that I'm nothing more than a selfish asshole "who acts like a drug addict". I brought up the fact that I'm a legal adult making my own free choice and she needs to respect that. This resulted in her yelling at me for wanting "to grow up too fast". When I told her me and my GF want to get an apartment together next year anyways, that made it worse. She immediately tells me "Don't you expect a fucking dime from us for rent" (obviously wasn't, I worked throughout college). She then asks me "does your girlfriend wear the pants in this relationship". That line right there has me SEETHING. I'm so fucking fed up with being treated like a 15 year old despite the fact I'm going to finish my degree two years early and be going to grad school at the age of 20 with a 3.5 cumulative. They still think I'm a disappointment even with all I've accomplished, all because I smoked at night to help my anxiety. I don't know why I'm even try with them anymore and this point I'm willing to pack my shit in the dead of night and move across the country to live with my gf so they never have to see me again. I'm fucking tired of it.

Here all we are getting are townhomes with very poor build quality and generally located away from the city in the desert. The economy of Dubai and the average income levels here are much lesser than these large US cities. Despite that we are expected to shell out Millions if we want to buy a decent detached home. 11:30ish pm Sunday night. Went out for a cigarrette as my vape died. New neighbor sees me, wants to come see the remote control year-round color changing porch lights, she wants something like it to keep the bugs away. At the moment, she was on the phone with someone through an earpiece. She then comments about the flowers, and where to buy them. I tell her Wojos. It's on the other side of the state. I recommend Horrocks, as they carry similar things. She offers me one of whatever drink she just opened. Black and gold can? Seltzer of some sort? I decline. She asks if I drink or not. I say I do. She offers a shot, I hesitantly agree, trying to be friendly. One of her first questions on the way over across the street was if I was single, to which I told her I was. Go over to her porch, she is still on the call with whatever random guy she was talking to. She says something about "always wanting to be beautiful" and points out an injury on her face I hadn't noticed until we were over under her more well lit porch. She stays on the phone while being incredibly and obviously flirty. Eventually she goes inside to grab a shot of some sort. At some point, she had propped her video call phone up on the windowsill, and it looked like the guy on the other side was the one to end the call at her request. While I wait outside wondering WTF I just got myself into, she calls my name. Apparently, she wanted me to see that she was washing the glass before offering it to me. She comes out, sloppily pours a drink for me (some sort of fruity svedka, can't define an exact flavor.) Most of it was spilled on my hands rather than into the glass, but I don't say anything and just subtly wipe my hands on my shorts. She tells me that she works at a gas station, I get two words into starting to tell her about me, and she changes over to some other subject. This continues over and over again. She keeps trying to ask me questions, and when I go to answer, I can only say two or three words before she starts talking about something else. Eventually, she asks me to pour her a drink. So, I grab the wet bottle and glass to pour her one. Of course, this leaves my hands covered in even more svedka than ever made it into the glass. I comment this time, and she offers to let me come inside to wash my hands. I'm thinking, "alright, this will be a quick in and out, wash my hands, and get out of here." Nope, then she wants to give me a tour of her apartment. It has a different layout, and different appliances than mine, and I point out the differences. This entire time, she's getting more and more touchy and flirty, and I'm just trying to be friendly, but I am in no way interested. She kind of forces a kiss, I say "kind of" because I didn't exactly resist, I was just more shocked it was happening and had no idea how to respond. Then something in her snapped. She all the sudden starts demanding that because she showed me her apartment, I should show her mine. I decline, telling her the dog and other people there are already in bed, but I could show her some other day. Shes starts speaking in mostly gibberish that I can't possibly understand, and every time she asks me some incoherent question that I can't possibly have a response to, she alternates between being flirty, and being aggressive. At this point, I realize I have to get out, because she is literally out of her mind. Like, institutional level. So, I tell her I want to go outside and have a cigarette. This angers her. She starts telling me I'm just trying to escape and "you always leave." I think I'm about to get Dahmered by a psychopath who thinks I'm someone else who may have wronged her earlier in her life. I try to talk my way into going back out on the porch, she locks that door, and wants to go out a different door. In my head, I'm thinking, "yeah - about to get stabbed or strangled to death." I agree, because any door is better than being trapped and gives me an out. ...then she needs to go urinate. I'm thinking, "finally, an easy out while shes in there." Nope. She shut that one down, starts talking gibberish and literally has me watch her pee. I've known this woman for 20 minutes, and she's forcing me to watch her pee so I can't leave. WTF? During this, one of her lip piercings falls out. Now, she wants me to help her find the two pieces. Keep in mind, she is still sitting on the toilet, asking me to look for pieces to her piercing. So, I enter the bathroom, I had been standing outside the doorway. Important note here, I am a skinny, non-muscular, non-violent white boy. This much larger, obviously a fighter, raised in a bad part of town black girl then tells me I'm not looking hard enough, and I should be on my knees looking. I make excuses about trying to see the bigger picture, and she keeps insisting I get down to actually look, because I'm not trying hard enough. Absolutely fuck that. No chance in hell. I'm not about to get my head stomped into a bathroom floor. She eventually gets done, gets on her knees to look, and tells me that's what I was supposed to be doing. Of course I'm not completely stupid, and don't do that. She then mumbles something completely incomprehensible and I ask her to repeat what she said because I couldn't hear her. She death grips both of my hands. And tells me that I should have just remembered what she said. I ask her multiple times to just repeat it, because I just didn't hear it. She starts screaming about how "you always do this. You just need to close your eyes and listen." At this point, she has a death grip on my hands, and I return the death grip realizing my grip is stronger than hers, so I play along, knowing her hands can't escape mine. I close my eyes enough she can't notice one is still partially open, position my right leg kind of sideways to prevent her from having any attempt to knee me, move my head around enough that my glasses slide down to the soft part of my nose if she tries to head bunt me...then we continued that, in total silence for what seemed like an eternity where I just kept expecting her to snap and truly physically assault me rather than just the milder form she had "asserted" up to that point. Eventually, I ask her if I can open my eyes yet. She seems calm at that moment. Says yes. Then proceeds to stare me directly in the eye in the creepiest fucking way possible, and said, "I love you, I love you, I love you" over and over again at least a dozen times. I just nod and agree, occasionally saying, "yes, I know" -- because wtf else am I supposed to say? Eventually, the momentary calm escalates into even more crazy, and she starts screaming that I, meaning me, can't leave again, I can't abandon my son, and my place is where I am. Again, I've known her for all of half an hour or so. How and why the surrounding neighbors didn't call the police at this point is amazing to me. During this, I kept slowly inching myself in a circle so that I was on the side where the open bathroom door was, rather than being stuck between her and the shower. At this point, I tell her I need to go home, and she needs to go to bed. Oddly enough, she relaxed her grip, looked strangely defeated, and I couldn't figure out for sure if it was a ploy or genuine, but eventually used that moment to take a few steps back and let go...keep in mind, I'm still expecting to get punched or tackled at this point, but then she just dropped to her knees. I keep very slowly backing away as to keep it unnoticeable. But, eventually get to a point where I'm a good 15ft away, out of the bathroom, out of the hallway, and know if she starts charging my direction, I'll have plenty of time to get to the door, unlock it, and get outside before she can touch me. Here, I think she realizes she has no chance of physically blocking/forcing/intimidating me to stay, and starts saying things about how I'm going to turn her in, and she's going to lose her place again (again!?? this has happened before!???) Trying to diffuse whatever was clearly a mental breakdown of some sort, and not make it a criminal thing (although it is criminal on a thousand levels), I assured her I wouldn't be contacting the police. I left somewhere around 12:40-12:50ish, walked back across the street, and listened to her scream loudly a few times. I half expected her to eventually show up banging on my door or something, but as of 2:53am, she has not. The thing that complicates things here for me in terms of contacting authorities is that she claimed her son was in the apartment. I have no idea if this is a toddler, small child, a teenager, or even an adult. The door to his room was locked, as at one point she was attempting to show me that "someone else was home." So, do I just ignore this entire encounter even though it was technically criminal? Do I call the cops and just not press charges and instead recommend she goes to a psych ward? I truly just don't know what to do at this moment. Apologies for the format, grammar, spelling errors that most assuredly are in this. I was trying to type things out as fast as possible so I don't forget anything important about the encounter.

In the meantime, Saoirse is expecting another baby with her new love but it happened naturally, and they planned it. So, although both Saoirse and her boyfriend abandoned their kids, they're expecting one together. All in all, every gets to be happy in the end.

Hi! I have a 7 month old mini golden doodle. I live in a studio apartment and I work from home. She sleeps through the night in her crate and settles when it is just me in the house. I typically enforce naps in the crate while I work during the day and for short periods of time when I have to leave the house.
When I have visitors, she is unable to settle in her crate. If my partner sleeps over, she will bark all night and wants to be with us. My bf (lets call him fred) he loved his friends so much. For lunch in high school he would sit with them instead of me, it was always I who had to go to HIM and HIS friends. He never came to hang out with me and we were never alone, his friends were like his little minions. It was ME who had to finally say, “Hey, for 2 days out of the week, can we have lunch together alone? no friends?” and he agreed. He never seems excited to hang out with me alone but even during these times he would try and find other friends to talk to instead of me. It felt like i bored him.
I never liked his friends, they are blatantly misogynistic, racist, and homophobic. Which I am apart of each being a woman, mexican, and bisexual. They made me uncomfortable and they would complain every time me and Fred kissed each other, saying that its PDA and they asked me not to kiss him in front of them. The thing with this is FRED IS NEVER ALONE, I cant privately show him affection. I told them if they don’t wanna see us kissing then they should walk away when they see me coming. Which is what they started doing.
Recently we’ve graduated, most of our interactions have been on calls. I have a job and him and his friends currently dont, so i’m out all day and I come home late, hoping that I could call him, maybe play some games and then we’d fall asleep on calls most nights. Yet in the month since we’ve graduated, hes left the call every night, I barely get an hour with him before he says, “i’m gonna go play with the guys” At first I understood because he misses his friends because we’ve graduated. I also realized he did this before we graduated but I never payed much attention to it since I understood that him and his friends could only play games after school. But i’ve started to notice it more because he had all day to play with them but he still decides to play with them only when I want to call him late at night!! Also Fred would tell me how he played games with them just earlier that day. Yet he gets bored of me in an hour and needs to be with his friends.
So today when he left again I got mad and he noticed and asked what was wrong, I told him that he always leaves to be with his friends and I feel like he finds me boring because he cant be with me for more than an hour before hes looking for his friends. All he had to say to that was that he misses his friends and said hed call me back soon. I asked why he would call me back and he said it was because he wanted to, so I asked, “if you wanted to call me whyd you leave to play with your friends?” He then said that he wants to call me because he didn’t want me going to sleep upset. I feel bad that I am getting mad at him for being with his friends and I don’t know if I am the asshole or if he is. I hate feeling like his friends are more important than me when he is all I have and I hate complaining about it because I hate causing problems but I just wish he could stay in a call with me and just enjoy talking to me :/
