The Murder Sheet Monotones

2023.03.25 08:20 Old_Heart_7780 The Murder Sheet Monotones

There’s a recent post floating around with respect to what the Murder Sheet couple said in their March 20, 2023 podcast:
“last Monday at 4:13 PM The Delphi Murders: Kegan Kline's Proposed Change of Plea Hearing”
With all due respect to the OP and her thoughts on the couples comments. I think you have to listen yourself and make your own opinion on what they said, and what they meant. It did make for a good discussion— that’s for sure. And honestly I think that’s what it’s all about.
Just wanted to go over it because it sounds to me Kevin and Aine are telling people not to read too much into the River search and some of the events leading up to Richard Allen’s arrest. It’s odd they would suddenly start telling people to not read too much into the custody transfer of Junior to the ISP, the Wabash River search, granny’s backyard burn pit search, and Richard Allen’s backyard pile of ashes— which ultimately led to Allen’s arrest.
Strange the couple with the podcast and bevy of Delphi leaks would suddenly be telling everyone not to do any speculating themselves. Who are they talking to? So they really think the public at large shouldn’t speculate like they speculate? We can’t put two and two together and come up with three?
This is an excerpt from a post I made back on January 20, 2023 with respect to some of the Murder Sheets reporting that was made regarding the River search and granny’s backyard burn pit search:
The Wabash River Search started on 8/19/2022 and ended on 9/28/2022. We know the River search ended and next thing the ISP investigators were focused on was backyard ashes in Peru and Delphi.
News story regarding the Wabash River search and a certain someone’s mothers backyard burn pit
Fox59 by Russ McQuaid
”About the same time the original hearing was scheduled we saw some pretty intense searches going on, a search of the Wabash River and the search of the fire pit at the home of Kegan Kline’s grandparents,” said Kevin Greenlee, an attorney, and host of the podcast THE MURDER SHEET which has delved into the Delphi murders. “Perhaps those searches were not as successful as they might like.”
The search behind grandma’s house started sometime in early October 2022 and was immediately followed by Allen’s backyard search that took place on 10/13/2022.
Quote from an article in the New York Post dated 11/22/2022 by Haley Brown and Ken Kessler.
“They were definitely snooping around a lot at the fire pit and at the backyard,” a neighbor said, who described “lots of flashlights, lots of pictures, lots of sifting.”
The neighbors couldn’t make sense of why the fire pit was being examined at the time, saying “we never really see them burn things.”
We don’t know what was found but we can speculate from the photos being taken they found something. The obvious things they would have destroyed is anything that may have the girls DNA and their own DNA on it: s Clothing, jackets, hoodies, gloves, boots, hats, ski mask, seat cover, floor mats, etc..
It doesn’t take much common sense to know exactly why they were searching through someone’s mothers backyard burn pit. It didn’t take them long to move from one burn pit to the next. Peru, Indiana to Delphi, Indiana. The backyard on Paw Paw Pike to the backyard on Whiteman Rd. There is no mistaking who the FBI and the ISP is looking at. He has a violent criminal history. He was downloading the type of CSAM that will get you 20 years in a state penitentiary. He had a lot to lose if anyone went to their parents or the police with what they were doing to LIbby and Libby’s friend. Not long after murdering two teenage girls he was in Galveston, Indiana using the same ski mask he possibly used on RL’s land. Trust me it’s not the son they are after—- it’s the dad. The same guy that according to his own son he has held a gun on both him and his mother. How many people have we read about so far in this investigation that have held a gun on their own child and the mother of their only child? Could that same panicked UAW man hold a gun on two teenager’s, and do what he did to save his pedophile loser ass from going to jail the rest of his life?
So I’m gathering Aine and Kevin are telling people to not put stock in juniors CSAM case producing a plea deal that helps with the Delphi case. Personally I think any plea deal Junior would make with respect to Delphi would be based on his involvement in the murders. In other words he’s going to have to tell what he knows and what he did that day. The CSAM charges he’s facing are an entirely separate criminal investigation. Could there once have been a plea deal to plead guilty on the CSAM— in order to make a plea deal on Delphi once the CSAM charges are signed and sealed? Who knows.
But why are the MS Monotone’s suddenly telling us to not speculate on anything relating to that River search and those ash sifting searches in the backyards?
I know I was commenting along with another Redditor 8-9 months ago about a possible burn barrel behind the Canal Street house. Same with evidence being thrown in the Wabash River behind that Canal Street house. Coincidently they did find a loaded .38 within 1400’ of the river frontage behind the Canal Street. At least that’s what we know from an article about the 2019 Annual DeTrash the Wabash cleanup campaign. Junior was playing with a .38 and taking pictures of it to post to his Twitter. Another huge coincidence? Is it wrong to speculate he threw the knife in the River, too.
Not sure what they found in the Wabash River below the Kelly Street bridge, but I know it wasn’t nothing— I speculate it was somebody’s hunting knife. I also think they burned clothing, footwear and anything that could have incriminating DNA on it— behind the two respective homes some 40 miles apart. It is common sense to put the chain of events together. It’s common sense to think the guy who admits to chatting with Libby online that day—- somebody that had been catfishing her and her friends all that winter— somehow are logically connected to the murders of these two young girls.
I still haven’t figured out the Murder Sheet Monotones. Are they some secret undercover couple that’s been colluding with investigators this whole time. Are they part of a complex plan to out the men responsible for tricking two girls into walking to the isolated south end of one extremely dangerous bridge.
I think everyone could agree this is one strange murder investigation. I did watch a short Carroll County administrator meeting were they were arguing over $5000 extra to help with Allen’s prosecution. Heck I think we should start a GoFundMe page for the prosecution if the state of Indiana is not going to pony up with some dollars. I’d put up $100 to help prosecute the little troll man murderer if I knew it’d help.
I’d even throw in an extra $20 for McLelland to get a haircut. The Don Johnson look went out in the 80’s for shits sake. What the hell is in the water there?

2023.03.25 06:44 Virtual_Announcer 10 ways to improve college football

We love this sport and we also wish it was the best it could possibly be. With that said, here are ten ways I think the game could be improved minus less commercials because I'm sure ESPN and Fox would totally go for that.
  1. Go from three timeouts a half to four a game. Pretty simple. Let coaches use the timeouts however they want to. Save them for late, burn them to steal a touchdown before half. Doesn't matter. Would totally change clock management strategy.
  2. Eliminate the facemask As counter intuitive as it sounds, I think removing the facemask would make the game much safer. It would, ideally, make players more aware of where they are in a play and cut down on launching, at least that's the idea.
  3. Make field goals from 50 or more yards out worth four points. This is an old NFL Europe rule I'd love to see revived. Those long kicks are hard. Reward the kids with the extra point for splitting the uprights.
  4. Red deficits Look, if you're a school that wears maroon or red but defiantly forces people to call it scarlet or cherry or crimson or brick or Cincinnati baseball team, you can take a hike. Until you formally change the verbiage to the color we know it is y'all will start every game down three points.
  5. Pass attempt roulette So much passing slows games down. Incomplete passes stink. In an effort to speed up the game, every week a conference rep will spin a wheel to determine how many passes teams can attempt that weekend with slots on the wheel starting at five and going to 70. Host conference rules apply in the non con. Notre Dame will do as the ACC goes, lol to this ever changing army's game plan, and UConn will play jacks to figure it out. UMass can do as they wish out of pity.
  6. Allow the A11 offense Just make it happen. It would be chaotic as hell and crazy fun.
  7. Opening kickoff determined by mascot coolness No more coin toss. We get a random person off the street, who does not have a ticket to the game, and ask which mascot is cooler. That team then gets to choose just like the win the coin toss. The losing team will have the choice in overtime.
Does this mean Indiana never wins a coin toss again or never loses? Who wins when it's Auburn v LSU? Have fun Syracuse.
  1. All coaches that don't go for two when scoring a touchdown to go up seven in the fourth quarter must wear a dunce cap the rest of the game and lose their headphone privileges. Come on goofus, go for two and try to steal a two-score lead. Are you that bad at math? Don't answer that.
  2. All bands must have 99 Luftballoons, Time Warp, and Stacy's Mom in their rotation. My list and I really like those three songs arranged for a marching band.
  3. Michigan must play one game a year in a big house. Full pads. Indoors. Furniture is there and everything. The house must be at least 6000 square feet. If you want to play in THE big house you better be able to win in A big house

2023.03.25 06:23 AManFromEarth_ Looking for used Electric/electronic appliance in Surathkal/Manglore .

Hey everyone!
I am currently in the market for a used washing machine and fridge in the Surathkal/Mangalore area. I am hoping to find some great deals on these appliances and would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations on where I can find them.
In Bangalore, I found shops where you can buy used washing machines for around 5,000 rupees with a one-year guarantee. Additionally, some of these shops will take the machine back within two years for 50% of the purchase price. This seems like a great deal. Can anyone suggest similar shops in Surathkal/Mangalore?

Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions!

2023.03.25 06:21 Whiskey_jane This can’t be unintentional..right?

In need of some insight because I’ve fallen into the, “maybe it IS me” internal dialogue so perspective and opinions would be appreciated as well! Short backstory, we’ve been married 5yrs and have 2 kids(3 and 4) I have 2 from a previous(8 and 15) and prior to meeting owned a successful business where I could be a SAHM but support myself financially with passive income. I sold my business(that’s for another day) and invested that money into opening a business he could run and enjoy and it’s been very successful. The past year though, he started working longer and longer hours until he was only home about 6 hours a day to shower, sleep, and get ready for the next day. I finally said something after 30 straight days of him having no interaction with the kids, he promised it would be changing in a few weeks, which it still hasn’t a year later. We’ve “broken up” as in I kicked him out/he left a handful of times over the past year, lasting a few weeks each time and then I get smothered in promises to put family first, etc. He’s not abusive, the worst issue is he does withhold money and knows I don’t have any or access to any but have all the bills in my name so he’s used that to hold over my head. I know I could get a job and work to become independent again, but with one of my kids starting preschool this fall and the other is the following year, I feel selfish disrupting their lives bc I’m not happy since he’s not really around or having much effect on our lives-although the small time we do spend together he’s usually irritated or angry(there’s nothing we can do to work on or fix it either) and I end up getting terrible anxiety which the kids sense and it throws off our days when he is around even just for a few minutes. That’s not fair to him no matter what part he’s causing, hearing my little ones ask if daddy will be nice one day breaks my heart for him, and them. Anyways, it’s a sad situation for everyone, and other than sticking it out in what feels like purgatory, I feel the only option I really have is to head to court since counseling is off the table. I have some women I really respect telling me to stay, but to build up my credit, find a good job, and essentially “leave him” while I still have the financial support since I have kids. Logically it makes sense but morally it feels wrong, and I do care about his well-being, most times more than I do mine or the kids which then ends up as more resentment. Today was a prime example and the catalyst for me to reach out for some advice and maybe get some clarity in the process. I’d like to premise this by saying I am FAR from faultless or innocent in this or any other interaction and I am truly attempting to tell this as unbiased as humanly possible, but take that into consideration as well :) His phone broke yesterday and he couldn’t remember a single password for anything including his phone carrier so after many many hours I was able to get some of them reset with the exception of his carrier(appleID was next to impossible) so he went to work this morning and I spent my day doing the mom things and also dealing with trying to get our fridge replaced by warranty and spent hours dealing with that as well. He called around 4:30pm to let me know he was just finishing up and would be ready to meet me at his phone carriers store so I can help him since he went the day before and didn’t get anything resolved. I packed up the kids, had to go deposit money of his at the bank, and then race there so I had time to go to deal with the fridge in person. I find out his client didn’t show, so he just “worked” and got ready for the next day but did try to hide it from me initially. Why not fix your phone instead since it’s extremely important? I was a bit annoyed but was content that he would be running some errands with all of us and spending time with the kids. He said he needed to drive separate so we could just meet there..not so happy. I let him take the lead for a few minutes but all he did was blame everyone else for him not remembering any of his passwords so I took over and got it straightened out and then headed to the appliance store, he said he needed to do something for the business quick but would be home shortly I spent over 2.5 hours at appliance store arguing while on the phone with corporate and trying to wrangle my kids so they didn’t disrupt the other customers too badly. I get home exhausted and he still wasn’t here. He spent that time cleaning and washing his truck..and when I tried to mention he promised a few weeks ago he’d try to help get them in bed one night a week, he got pissed. Fast forward to his phone not working again and I explain what I’m going to do to try and fix it and all the sudden I can’t log into his appleID- he decided to change the flipping password in the middle of all this and ended up locking it and causing a huge pain that I have to try to fix since “he doesn’t know.” I handed him the phone and said calmly that it was his problem now and I wasn’t going to interfere, so naturally he started yelling at me and insulting me. It happens so frequently I let it roll right off while I walk away. Am I living in the twilight zone?? Am I expecting too much? Or am I unrealistic?? While it could be SO much worse, I am miserable. He’s miserable. I know he’s not cheating, it sounds a bit like it could be that but I know for a fact the worst he’s done is a bit of flirting online(I hate it but that could also be worse) no habits, he’s not even a drinker, so there’s not any outside forces you would assume be the culprit here-were just extremely caustic to each other and I feel like no matter what I do I’m going to be hurting my children in some way. Thank you for reading all this, I hope I gave a somewhat accurate and clear explanation and why I am desperate for some sort of insight and clarity. Tl;dr

8 Popular Types Of Kitchen Layouts In India

https://preview.redd.it/b0ghukhoetpa1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d88b19b02816dd53ea87d9d19285d28f92e11876
The kitchen is one of the most important parts of any home. It's where families gather to cook, eat, and spend time together. But when it comes to designing a kitchen, there are many factors to consider, including the layout. The modular kitchen designs layout of your kitchen is important because it determines how easy it is to use and how efficient it is. In this article, we'll look at 8 popular types of kitchen layouts and what makes each one unique.

8 Popular Types Of Kitchen Layouts

The One-Wall Kitchen Layout

The one-wall kitchen layout is exactly what it sounds like – all the major kitchen elements are placed on one wall. This layout is ideal for small spaces, as it saves space and allows for easy access to all the kitchen elements. The main disadvantage of this layout is that it can be challenging to create enough counter space, which can make cooking and meal prep difficult.

The Galley Kitchen Layout

The galley kitchen layout is similar to the one-wall layout, but instead of everything being on one wall, the major elements are placed on two parallel walls. This layout is ideal for small apartments and homes, as it maximizes space while still allowing for efficient use of the kitchen. The main disadvantage of this layout is that it can feel cramped, and there may not be enough space for multiple people to work in the kitchen at once.

The L-Shaped Kitchen Layout

The L-shaped kitchen layout is a popular choice for larger kitchens. This layout features cabinets and appliances on two adjacent walls, creating an L-shape. This layout is great for creating a natural flow in the kitchen and allows for easy access to all the major elements. It also allows for a lot of counter space and storage. The main disadvantage of this layout is that it can be difficult to navigate in smaller kitchens.

The U-Shaped Kitchen Layout

The U-shaped kitchen layout is similar to the L-shaped layout, but instead of two adjacent walls, it uses three walls. This layout is ideal for large kitchens, as it maximizes space and allows for multiple workstations. It also provides plenty of counter space and storage options. The main disadvantage of this layout is that it can feel enclosed, and there may not be enough room for a dining table or other furniture.

The Island Kitchen Layout

The island kitchen layout is a popular choice for modern kitchens. This layout features a central island that can be used for additional counter space, storage, or as a dining area. It's great for large kitchens and open-plan living areas, as it provides a central gathering point for family and guests. The main disadvantage of this layout is that it can be challenging to incorporate into smaller kitchens.

The Peninsula Kitchen Layout

The peninsula kitchen layout is similar to the island layout, but instead of a central island, there is a peninsula attached to one wall. This layout is ideal for small and medium-sized kitchens, as it provides additional counter space and storage without taking up too much room. The main disadvantage of this layout is that it can feel cramped and may not be suitable for larger families.

The G-Shaped Kitchen Layout

The G-shaped kitchen layout is similar to the U-shaped layout, but with an additional peninsula or partial fourth wall. This layout provides even more counter space and storage options than the U-shaped layout and allows for multiple workstations. It's ideal for large families or those who love to cook and entertain. The main disadvantage of this layout is that it can be expensive to install, and there may not be enough space for a dining table.

The Parallel Kitchen Layout

The parallel kitchen layout is similar to the galley layout, but instead of being on two parallel walls, the major elements are on two facing walls. This layout is ideal for long, narrow spaces and allows for easy access.
In conclusion, there are many different types of kitchen layouts, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. The right layout for you will depend on your specific needs and the size and shape of your kitchen. Whether you prefer a compact one-wall layout for a small apartment or a spacious U-shaped layout for a large family home, there is a kitchen layout that will work for you. By considering the pros and cons of each layout, you can make an informed decision that will result in a kitchen that is not only functional and efficient but also beautiful and enjoyable to use.

2023.03.25 04:28 Quinntissential Musings on being “a lot.”

I’m not sure who said it first, but I have mixed feelings when I hear “If you think I’m a lot, then go find less.”
I understand the sentiment, but I struggle to apply it to myself. I am a lot. But I feel like any sane, normal person couldn’t possibly ever want this much. Less would be massively preferable. I’m endlessly grateful for the people in my life that are willing to endure how much I am.
I just find myself realizing that I have no understanding for how normal people feel on a day to day basis. I have no idea what the normal level of anything is.
I am exhausted by myself. I don’t know how much of this is ADHD, but maybe someone will understand.
I am in a constant state of either overachieving (sometimes to a level of absurdity and often to a level that’s unnecessary), or dangerously underachieving. I either can’t sleep and am up all night, or I’m in bed early and can’t wake up in the morning.
My insecurities, self doubt and perpetual personal embarrassment leads me to overshare, over-apologize and overcompensate to the point that it’s off-putting and makes me look weak and incapable when I am neither of those things.
I feel emotions so strongly and am willing to tackle mine, but I can barely watch movies or tv shows anymore. I can’t allow myself to be this emotionally affected by something that isn’t real. It wasn’t always like this, but it seems to get worse and worse.
I used to write music… I’ve written hundreds of songs. I can barely listen to music anymore. It’s too much. It affects me far too much. I can’t perform anymore because I can’t sing without crying. I can’t hear myself, I can’t focus, I can’t see. Everything on stage is too loud, too bright, too busy - too much. I could have been someone if I had been able to handle it, but I never really could and faking it got too hard.
I watched a show today for the first time in a while. I got obsessed with the characters, watching their love story felt physically painful, I binged the entire 10 episodes and then spent several hours reading articles, reviews, anything I could find just to stay in the story - just to try and find more details. It doesn’t feel normal. It occurs to me that most people watch something, enjoy it or not and then go about their day. I wonder what that’s like.
I can’t understand what people are saying to me if there’s background noise. It’s like they’re speaking another language sometimes. But I can do a million things at once if it’s quiet.
I don’t hate myself. I have a lot of good qualities. I’m a good parent and enjoy my children more than most people seem to. I’m just so tired of dealing with me all the time. I’m exhausted by the constant alarms, the constant reminders, Alexa going off 30 times a day telling me to clock in, clock out, take my medication, eat lunch, be here at 5, be here at 7, start the crockpot, order groceries. I hate the noise, I hate that I can’t live without it.
I struggle with alcohol in phases. But it helps - or it does in the moment, anyway. But the next day the anxiety, the absent mindedness, the struggle to focus is a million times worse. I’ve never tried drugs because I know exactly who I would become if I did - another reason I stopped performing.
I’m medicated for ADHD and I know I need to be, I couldn’t function without it. But I wish someone could explain to me what it feels like in a normal brain. I wish someone could teach me to process things in a way that would give me some relief.
I wrote 82 pages of training material for my job last week, entirely from memory. But I can’t remember to clock out for lunch every day. I’ve taught myself how to do everything from repairing household appliances to designing/sewing my own clothes to doing my own taxes. But I can’t seem to make myself understand how to successfully navigate most social situations.
Love has been especially hard. My attachments to people have been unhealthy in every way I could possibly manage. I left one abusive marriage and immediately replaced that with a second one.
When I met my current husband, I felt instantly connected to him. He made me feel safe in a way I had never felt before and he showed me care in a way that I had never experienced, not even with my own family. I had been searching my whole life to feel that way - So I burned my entire life to the ground to be with him. Whatever I had to do, as long as it didn’t hurt my kids, I did it. I didn’t hurt them - but I hurt a lot of other people. And I didn’t care. I accepted the shame, the embarrassment, the rumors and judgements and insults and just… took it. It was worth it.
But being healthy with him is so hard sometimes. I love him and can’t lose him, so I have to try and I’ll keep trying every day. I can’t let my kids down, so I’ll leave the alarms and the reminders on. Even on my days when I’m the bare minimum of myself, I still show my family the love they deserve. I still show up at the talent show. I get up in the middle of the night when I remember the class spirit shirt that needs to be clean in the morning.
But I’m exhausted.
And I often wish I could “go find less.” But I’m stuck with me, so I hope one day I can get used to being a lot.

2023.03.25 03:00 lucasorion Question about CTERA

Does anyone out there use CTERA without edge filer appliances for the local storage? Just as software a VM running to sync file shares on Windows servers? Or is that even possible? We currently have an old version of PeerSync, with licensed hard limits we are outgrowing after 6 years (5 hosts, 1TB synced). We may end up springing for their yearly subscription cost for PeerGFS, because we need some kind of global file locking for our users' files, but I'd like to know if CTERA is a viable alternative option if we don't need cloud sync (for now). 2023.03.25 02:49 hammer2k5 Content Filtering Appliance is Dead

Our 8 year old Untangle u150 appliance that we use for content filtering appears to have bit the dust, leaving our school without content filters for the time being. I'm pretty desperate for solutions. Perhaps its time to switch to a cloud based web filter? Suggestions? Budget is tight, so the less expensive the solution, the better.
Follow up question: A cloud/DNS bases solution is likely easier and quicker to implement. However, is there any advantage to an appliance filter over a cloud/DNS based option?

I've done this year's ago with a fair amount of success, so I figured I'd try again and see what I've missed
About me: 37, single guy who has his own place in Indiana. I weld for work. I'd gladly golf for work, but I have to get a bit better first. I enjoy a variety of music, and im always interested in sharing songs. Been playing video games for 30+ years.
About you: Engaging and entertaining. Can give and take witty banter. Preferably single. Can teach me how to fold a fitted bedsheet.

2023.03.25 01:54 FormerGutterSkank Car insurance advice/risk assessment experts

Are there any risk assessment experts out there who can help me decide what kind of insurance to put on my vehicles? I'm deciding whether to get liability only or also collision.
Vehicles:
2001 Ford F-250 Super Duty Book value $8633
2009 Toyota Camry Book value $4338
My understanding is that if either of these vehicles were totaled, I would get the book value from the insurance company. This would be nice because I'd be able to replace the vehicle immediately.
I'm 19 years old, working full-time at an auto shop and attending college full-time. If either vehicle were totaled, I'd have the other one to use until I could get the money to replace the one that needed replaced. I might be able to borrow money from a family member and make payments, but that's not guaranteed. I must have transportation!
I drive the Camry daily to work and to school. I drive the F-250 only one or two times a week, as needed for projects. Hauling scrap to the junkyard, picking up appliances or furniture, towing other vehicles, etc.
Is it worth spending $150 a month each for collision vs about a fourth of that amount for liability only?

2023.03.25 01:52 f-ingcharlottebronte The Serious Eats Best Chili Recipe just won me my company’s Chili Cook-Off

I found the recipe here after the competition was announced. I saved it to my recipe app without looking at it, knowing I trust the source. I spent three days making it, had to borrow two different appliances, and had to might slight amendments due to availability and stupidity. I had been hyping this up all week because I am a nerd about food challenges. Today was the competition and it was me up against 8 others. While I was confident in my cook and flavor, I was intimidated when I spied the other options and saw that I was a WILD outlier. Only one other person had not used ground meat, but even their chili had a chili look to it. In the end, as they were announcing, 3rd, 2nd, they were dishes I had voted for and more traditional than what I offered. Then they announced the winner and I felt like a little kid, but a little kid who yelled fuck yeah at winning a game. I just want to say thank you to this sub for posting that recipe at the right time and serious eats for being so damn reliably delicious!

2023.03.24 23:50 Steel_Rail_Blues Pasta roller cleaning question

I recently had the opportunity to try KitchenAid’s pasta roller set and really enjoyed it. Squishing dough is incredibly satisfying! I made rectangular sheets to custom fit my lasagna pan and a couple thicknesses of linguini. The sheets led to my best lasagna to date. Because the sheets were rolled thinner, I was able to add more layers and the slices came out much better for serving, both in structure and appearance.
What did not spark joy was the cleaning. The KitchenAid directions and video call for sweeping away dried dough particles with a brush and wiping the outside with a dry cloth. Pasta dough contains eggs and the thought of raw egg residue on the rollers is gross to me. I ended up using alcohol swabs on the outside and manually moving the rollers incrementally to wipe with the recommended dry cloth. If these rollers weren’t borrowed (checked out from my library!), I might have taken them apart to clean. Am I too uptight about this? How do you clean yours?

2023.03.24 23:43 MasterAqua Beyond pretty boxes: Tricks to store small daily items out of sight, but easily accessible?

I'd love to mimic the style of an upscale hotel room in my home as much as possible, but one of the hardest things to replicate is the clear tables and counters. The general rule I'd like to follow is this: Everything that isn't decorative should be hidden; everything that can't or won't stay hidden should be as aesthetically pleasing as possible. That second part is the easier one to follow; and there are plenty of nice-looking boxes out there, but more than one or two of those in a room can still look like clutter to me.
All my search phrases have led to tips about things like: preventing buildup of miscellaneous clutter that you mindlessly drop on counters; keeping things technically off counters, but with solutions that are often still in plain sight; or storing things that you don't use often in dedicated drawers or cabinets.
What I'm looking for is any way to keep various unattractive but inevitable daily-use items in places that are quickly and easily accessible to the areas where they would be needed most (e.g., couch, bed, shower), but hidden from view. The only tips I've seen so far along these lines are:
These are all fantastic, but there are a lot of little items that I can't figure out how to hide in convenient locations. For example, next to the couch:
And in the shower (I'd imagine this would be a lot harder, but I'm open to ideas that would require heavy alteration of fixtures, like building in recessed shelves):
Honestly, with that shower stuff, I'd take a "pretty box" approach too, I just haven't seen one that seems like it would work in such a wet environment. We've tried paring down our large toiletry collection, but all of these things are actually used on a daily or weekly basis, so I really just want a way to keep them all accessible without overwhelming a hotel-like shower aesthetic. One idea that I just came up with while writing this was to have a teak box on a tray with little rolled up towels, but that would probably look best on some sort of bench, and would need to be out of the splash zone.
In addition to counters and tables, for parents or dog owners, certain items will just end up strewn across the floor multiple times a day (toys, chews), and it's hard to find a place to stow them that's out of sight but quickly accessible.
I know this is a hard one, but I'd love to hear any ideas!

2023.03.24 23:40 Key-Leg5077 Is this a good multimeter? Fluke - 101 digital multimeter

Hi
Here is a Fluke-101 digital multimeter
https://www.amazon.ca/Fluke-101-Multimeter-Equipment-Industrial/dp/B00HE6MIJY/ref=pd_ci_mcx_mh_mcx_views_3?pd_rd_w=eigYd&content-id=amzn1.sym.51ce09d4-a5e1-4c26-916a-dd527820dcd6&pf_rd_p=51ce09d4-a5e1-4c26-916a-dd527820dcd6&pf_rd_r=BD6SNY03M1ZQ9Q98YZXZ&pd_rd_wg=qxh2y&pd_rd_r=7068491e-b7e9-435b-af34-418fbc161c5e&pd_rd_i=B00HE6MIJY
$70 Cad.
I have never needed to use one but I am currently an apprentice plumber and I am taking a gas 3 technician course.
In order to do the job of a gas technician I will need a multimeter to test appliances. For plumbing I could use it for service calls to test appliances that use electricity if someone says they are not working.
For gas technician I would need it to service furnaces and test stuff. I am not really sure what else it is good for since I have only been taking online classes.
I could also use it on my guitar amp that doesn't work to see if the fuse is dead.
I see them ranging from $60 to $800. I have been told Fluke is a good brand.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
