It would be equivalent to the year after we made the ECF — simply thinking we could run it back without upgrades was lazy — especially when the rest of the East got substantially better and made moves.
I fear if we don’t start really competing, Trae will eventually want out. I know everyone says Synder just got here and we need a full year with him at the helm, but we can’t just run it back with Synder as the only change. That doesn’t move the needle to get us back in the ECF or NBA finals.

If you didn’t know what it was, you would dismiss it out of hand, but it was within those walls that many an important decision was taken, for good or ill. Where old Lyman Beesbury had had his throat slit by Criston Cole for staying true to the oath that he had made. May he remain an example to us all.
Being but a short distance away from the main kitchens, having refreshment in the meetings was simple enough. The same applied to the cellars that stored assorted casks, bottles and jars of drink. Seiko Expands King Seiko Collection With Two Non Limited Watches Inspired By The Legendary KSK
The rivalry between King Seiko and Grand Seiko has been strong for years. And for years they battled it out, but Grand won and the King was kind of forgotten. Until fans started asking for it to come back, and Seiko decided to oblige their wishes in 2020 when they started releasing limited numbers of King Seiko recreations. Theses seemed to have been hits for the company, as Seiko now expands the KSK-inspired collection with two slimmer, high-end and non-limited models, the SJE089 and SJE091.
In the 60s, King Seiko watches were deeply respected and they entered numerous chronometry tests, with good results. The most notable of all watches produced by KS was the reference 44-9990, with its hand-wound calibre 44A. Also known as the KSK (KS meaning King Seiko and the K at the end being the acronym for Kisei-Tsuki, stop-seconds in Japanese), it will serve as an inspiration for the comeback of the name.
After a number of limited models, Seiko is now ready to introduce two non-limited models, even though you’ll need a trained eye and a close encounter to differentiate them from a more accessible version from the SPBxxx range. Visually, they are indeed closer to the SPBxxx models and don’t try too hard to recreate the original KSK models, and at the same time, they share their specifications, movement and refinement with the two limited editions previously released.
For the two new models, Seiko has reworked the case to look more like the original 1965 watch and have increased the size a bit from the limited editions - up to 38.6mm from 38.1mm, while slimming it down from 11.4mm to 10.7mm. The finishing on the case is a combination of mirror polished surfaces and hairlines on top areas. The back, screwed and in solid steel, is decorated with the King Seiko emblem, but gone is the nice golden medallion of the two limited editions. Water-resistance is still rated at 50m. You can get the watches with a seven link steel bracelet.
The watch comes with two dial options, a silver and a black. The hands and markers have strong polished bevels on the sides and the dials have been reworked with a more understated and delicate sunray finishing technique that’s closer to the original watch. A small difference can be seen between the two dials; the silver edition has entirely polished hands and markers, while the black edition features a fine hairline finish on top of the hands and markers to heighten the level of contrast with the dial’s dark surface.
Inside is the calibre 6L35, a slimline in-house movement often reserved for the brand’s Presage limited edition. This calibre 6L35 was presented in 2018 as a thinner alternative (3.7mm in height), but also a movement with finer regulation than the other calibre of the brand. Beating at 4Hz with 45 hours of power reserve, it is given for -10/+15 seconds/day.
Launched as part of the permanent collection, the King Seiko SJE089 will be available in July 2023. They will be priced at EUR 3,400.
And these last two sentences are the main issue with the King Seiko. Historically, King Seiko stood for absolute accuracy. To put a -10/+15 seconds/day movement inside, at a price that almost reaches Tudor or a very slightly used (or maybe an even brand new) Grand Seiko, is not a good look and is, honestly, quite disappointing. Especially with their effort to position it as a more high end offering. The calibre 6L35 is not bad. It could just be a bit fine tuned and they would have a great watch.

Bremont’s New Limited Edition Watch Pays Homage To The Most Insane Race To Ever Exist
Before you continue reading this, go to YouTube and type in the Isle of Man TT. Say that you don’t feel going over to YT, just imagine this - you’re strapped to a motorcycle, practically lying down on the road, speeding through a village on the Isle of Man with your helmet inches from a cottage stone wall. That’s the Isle of Man TT, the fastest and most impressive race in the world. There practically hasn’t been a race in which someone doesn’t die - more than 250 riders have died since 1911, six just last year.
The Official Timing Partner of this insane even is Bremont, who just introduced a new watch dedicated to the race. And it’s not just a new colorway on an already existing watch, Bremont actually created a dedicated watch, which makes sense since they are one of the few large mainstream watchmakers from the UK, making it a logical partner for the Isle of Man. This bond is further enhanced with Bremont’s partnership with Peter Hickman, the fastest man ever to have completed the course at an average speed of 135mph (in 2018). The watch is the Isle of Man TT Limited Edition, a racing-oriented chronograph.
The watch uses Bremont’s layered Trip-Tick construction with its modular architecture. The top of the watch consists of a steel module that integrates the lugs. It frames a central container in stripped steel coated with black PVD. The back is closed by a solid steel element, secured to the case by five screws and decorated with the Isle of Man TT circuit. It’s a powerful and sizeable watch, measuring 43mm in diameter, over 15mm in height and 49mm in length.
Upon deeper consideration of the dial you will see it has all the features of a classic dial. But on first glance, it looks radical as it’s made to look like a speedometer on a bike. The hands rotate at 360°, but the main hour track mimics a gauge, with a sector that runs from 08 to 04, and frames two black-rimmed sub-counters, just like the subsidiary gauges on a sports bike. All elements are gloss-black printed over a matte white base, giving a fresh look to this watch. Red accents on the central hand and chronograph hands bring the desired racing vibe, and the date at 6 o’clock doesn’t even feel out of place in this speedy context.
Powering the watch is an automatic, chronometer-certified movement – calibre BE-50AV, based on the ETA 7750 architecture. It has a comfortable 56h power reserve. The watch is worn on a textured rubber strap, closed by a pin buckle.
Limited to 67 pieces and now available, the Bremont Isle of Man TT is priced at EUR 5,975.

The Depancel Jürgen Clauss Chronograph Is A Love Leter To 1960s French Sports Cars With A New Old Stock Movement From The Same Era
Alpine, if you are perhaps unfamiliar, is a cult French carmaker most famous for its tiny sports cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s. More recently, under Renault ownership, they have started making sports cars again and while they are supposedly fantastic cars, the old Alpinas, especially the A110, have a cult following. In order to document this cult following, Jürgen Clauss has formed alpineLAB and has since become one of the foremost experts on this particular French sports car brands. You know who else is into french sports cars? Depancel, who have a range of sports cars themed watches. Depancel teamed up with Clauss to create the Depancel Jürgen Clauss Chronograph. What would otherwise be a boring collaboration for a number of highly specialized collectors actually turned into a very interesting watch.
The Alpine A110 from the 60s is most famous for a very bright blue color and it’s that same blue that dominates on this limited edition watch, with a blazing blue sunburst dial, with black chronograph subdials and baby blue accents on the bezel and seconds hand. The bezel insert is quite intriguing, with the first quarter reserved for a pulsometer and the rest a traditional tachymetre. That makes sense for a racing watch for vintage cars, as when timing speed you won’t be likely to exceed 240 km/h too often.
The 43mm diameter may be a big too big for some, but this is a traditional racing chronograph so you can expect it to wear comfortably with the curved lugs. You have two strap options in either a diamond-stamped leather strap with a small French flag stitch, or the full-steel bracelet which will come with the leather as well.
All of this would be normal in any other tribute racing chronograph. Where, however, the Depancel Jürgen Clauss Chronograph differs substantially is on the inside. Depancel have sourced 150 new-old-stock Valjoux 7753 movements of a similar era to the original Alpine A110s, and refurbished them for use as bicompax chronograph calibres. These cam-actuated automatic chronographs were incredibly popular in their era, and many Swiss chronographs still use the same architecture or bases for their movements today. They have a power reserve of 48 hours and beat at 4Hz, plus you can gaze at it through the sapphire caseback with Depancel’s customised rotor.
That’s very cool. The Depancel Jürgen Clauss Chronograph is limited to 150 pieces and can be had for €1,795 on leather or €1,895 for the steel.

Vulcain Teams Up With CronotempVs Private Club To Celebrate Grandson Of Company Founder Who Played For Real Madrid FC
Vulcain is on a roll. Hardly a week passes without them releasing a new watch, a new limited edition or a new collaboration. This seems to be all three, as Vulcain has teamed up with Spain-based private watch collecting club to create the Cricket André “DIDIXEIN” Ditisheim, a limited edition of 47 pieces of a different Cricket to honor André Didisheim, descendant of the founder of Vulcain and Real Madrid football player.
André Didisheim, grandson of Maurice Ditisheim, was as an excellent sportsman and footballer. In 1907, he went to Madrid to learn Spanish because at the time South America was one of the most important markets for Swiss watch manufacture. Didisheim displayed his talent as an attacking midfielder and signed with Madrid FC (now known as Real Madrid FC). While there, his name Didisheim was changed to “Didixein”.
Paying tribute to André Didisheim, the Vulcain x CronotempVs Collectors limited edition Cricket watch has a 39mm diameter case with engraved steel polished case-back. The crown placed at 3:00 can be used to manually wind the watch movement in one direction to set the alarm and in the opposite direction to set the time. The pusher placed at 2:00 sets the alarm with the arrow-shaped hand. Inside is the hand-wound double-barrel Vulcain V-10, an evolution of the original Cricket caliber from 1947, keeps the watch running and the alarm ringing

Stepan Sarpaneva Takes Huge Inspirations From The Moon For His New Beautiful Watch
Independent Finnish watchmaker Stepan Sarpaneva is obsessed with the Moon. You will see this on all of the watches he has made which have the moon face on it. They are, of course, so much more than just watches with a moon face, but rather small works of watchmaking art. His latest Lunations watch interprets the darker side of the Moon with its black ruthenium-coated plates and bridges.
The Sarpaneva Lunations, recently revisited in the more colourful Harvest Moon edition, now returns with a darker personality. The distinctive shape of Sarpaneva’s case, with its scalloped 6-sided bezel, short lugs and crown at 4 o’clock, is crafted from high-grade Outokumpu supra 316L/4435 steel and has a diameter of 42mm and a thickness of 9.8mm. User-friendliness has also been factored into the equation, and the two-part crown, decorated with Sarpaneva’s moon face and 12 short protruding rays, is used to set and wind the time and adjust the moon’s phases.
An openworked matte black ruthenium-coated plate reveals parts of the inverted movement, including the exposed balance wheel, and features Sarpaneva’s signature moon face at 6 o’clock. The large moon face in relief is laser engraved, filled with a cross-section of optical fibre and finished by hand. 1/Seiko Expands King Seiko Collection With Two Non Limited Watches Inspired By The Legendary KSK
The rivalry between King Seiko and Grand Seiko has been strong for years. And for years they battled it out, but Grand won and the King was kind of forgotten. Until fans started asking for it to come back, and Seiko decided to oblige their wishes in 2020 when they started releasing limited numbers of King Seiko recreations. Theses seemed to have been hits for the company, as Seiko now expands the KSK-inspired collection with two slimmer, high-end and non-limited models, the SJE089 and SJE091.
In the 60s, King Seiko watches were deeply respected and they entered numerous chronometry tests, with good results. The most notable of all watches produced by KS was the reference 44-9990, with its hand-wound calibre 44A. Also known as the KSK (KS meaning King Seiko and the K at the end being the acronym for Kisei-Tsuki, stop-seconds in Japanese), it will serve as an inspiration for the comeback of the name.
After a number of limited models, Seiko is now ready to introduce two non-limited models, even though you’ll need a trained eye and a close encounter to differentiate them from a more accessible version from the SPBxxx range. Visually, they are indeed closer to the SPBxxx models and don’t try too hard to recreate the original KSK models, and at the same time, they share their specifications, movement and refinement with the two limited editions previously released.
For the two new models, Seiko has reworked the case to look more like the original 1965 watch and have increased the size a bit from the limited editions - up to 38.6mm from 38.1mm, while slimming it down from 11.4mm to 10.7mm. The finishing on the case is a combination of mirror polished surfaces and hairlines on top areas. The back, screwed and in solid steel, is decorated with the King Seiko emblem, but gone is the nice golden medallion of the two limited editions. Water-resistance is still rated at 50m. You can get the watches with a seven link steel bracelet.
The watch comes with two dial options, a silver and a black. The hands and markers have strong polished bevels on the sides and the dials have been reworked with a more understated and delicate sunray finishing technique that’s closer to the original watch. A small difference can be seen between the two dials; the silver edition has entirely polished hands and markers, while the black edition features a fine hairline finish on top of the hands and markers to heighten the level of contrast with the dial’s dark surface.
Inside is the calibre 6L35, a slimline in-house movement often reserved for the brand’s Presage limited edition. This calibre 6L35 was presented in 2018 as a thinner alternative (3.7mm in height), but also a movement with finer regulation than the other calibre of the brand. Beating at 4Hz with 45 hours of power reserve, it is given for -10/+15 seconds/day.
Launched as part of the permanent collection, the King Seiko SJE089 will be available in July 2023. They will be priced at EUR 3,400.
And these last two sentences are the main issue with the King Seiko. Historically, King Seiko stood for absolute accuracy. To put a -10/+15 seconds/day movement inside, at a price that almost reaches Tudor or a very slightly used (or maybe an even brand new) Grand Seiko, is not a good look and is, honestly, quite disappointing. Especially with their effort to position it as a more high end offering. The calibre 6L35 is not bad. It could just be a bit fine tuned and they would have a great watch.

Bremont’s New Limited Edition Watch Pays Homage To The Most Insane Race To Ever Exist
Before you continue reading this, go to YouTube and type in the Isle of Man TT. Say that you don’t feel going over to YT, just imagine this - you’re strapped to a motorcycle, practically lying down on the road, speeding through a village on the Isle of Man with your helmet inches from a cottage stone wall. That’s the Isle of Man TT, the fastest and most impressive race in the world. There practically hasn’t been a race in which someone doesn’t die - more than 250 riders have died since 1911, six just last year.
The Official Timing Partner of this insane even is Bremont, who just introduced a new watch dedicated to the race. And it’s not just a new colorway on an already existing watch, Bremont actually created a dedicated watch, which makes sense since they are one of the few large mainstream watchmakers from the UK, making it a logical partner for the Isle of Man. This bond is further enhanced with Bremont’s partnership with Peter Hickman, the fastest man ever to have completed the course at an average speed of 135mph (in 2018). The watch is the Isle of Man TT Limited Edition, a racing-oriented chronograph.
The watch uses Bremont’s layered Trip-Tick construction with its modular architecture. The top of the watch consists of a steel module that integrates the lugs. It frames a central container in stripped steel coated with black PVD. The back is closed by a solid steel element, secured to the case by five screws and decorated with the Isle of Man TT circuit. It’s a powerful and sizeable watch, measuring 43mm in diameter, over 15mm in height and 49mm in length.
Upon deeper consideration of the dial you will see it has all the features of a classic dial. But on first glance, it looks radical as it’s made to look like a speedometer on a bike. The hands rotate at 360°, but the main hour track mimics a gauge, with a sector that runs from 08 to 04, and frames two black-rimmed sub-counters, just like the subsidiary gauges on a sports bike. All elements are gloss-black printed over a matte white base, giving a fresh look to this watch. Red accents on the central hand and chronograph hands bring the desired racing vibe, and the date at 6 o’clock doesn’t even feel out of place in this speedy context.
Powering the watch is an automatic, chronometer-certified movement – calibre BE-50AV, based on the ETA 7750 architecture. It has a comfortable 56h power reserve. The watch is worn on a textured rubber strap, closed by a pin buckle.
Limited to 67 pieces and now available, the Bremont Isle of Man TT is priced at EUR 5,975.

The Depancel Jürgen Clauss Chronograph Is A Love Leter To 1960s French Sports Cars With A New Old Stock Movement From The Same Era
Alpine, if you are perhaps unfamiliar, is a cult French carmaker most famous for its tiny sports cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s. More recently, under Renault ownership, they have started making sports cars again and while they are supposedly fantastic cars, the old Alpinas, especially the A110, have a cult following. In order to document this cult following, Jürgen Clauss has formed alpineLAB and has since become one of the foremost experts on this particular French sports car brands. You know who else is into french sports cars? Depancel, who have a range of sports cars themed watches. Depancel teamed up with Clauss to create the Depancel Jürgen Clauss Chronograph. What would otherwise be a boring collaboration for a number of highly specialized collectors actually turned into a very interesting watch.
The Alpine A110 from the 60s is most famous for a very bright blue color and it’s that same blue that dominates on this limited edition watch, with a blazing blue sunburst dial, with black chronograph subdials and baby blue accents on the bezel and seconds hand. The bezel insert is quite intriguing, with the first quarter reserved for a pulsometer and the rest a traditional tachymetre. That makes sense for a racing watch for vintage cars, as when timing speed you won’t be likely to exceed 240 km/h too often.
The 43mm diameter may be a big too big for some, but this is a traditional racing chronograph so you can expect it to wear comfortably with the curved lugs. You have two strap options in either a diamond-stamped leather strap with a small French flag stitch, or the full-steel bracelet which will come with the leather as well.
All of this would be normal in any other tribute racing chronograph. Where, however, the Depancel Jürgen Clauss Chronograph differs substantially is on the inside. Depancel have sourced 150 new-old-stock Valjoux 7753 movements of a similar era to the original Alpine A110s, and refurbished them for use as bicompax chronograph calibres. These cam-actuated automatic chronographs were incredibly popular in their era, and many Swiss chronographs still use the same architecture or bases for their movements today. They have a power reserve of 48 hours and beat at 4Hz, plus you can gaze at it through the sapphire caseback with Depancel’s customised rotor.
That’s very cool. The Depancel Jürgen Clauss Chronograph is limited to 150 pieces and can be had for €1,795 on leather or €1,895 for the steel.

Vulcain Teams Up With CronotempVs Private Club To Celebrate Grandson Of Company Founder Who Played For Real Madrid FC
Vulcain is on a roll. Hardly a week passes without them releasing a new watch, a new limited edition or a new collaboration. This seems to be all three, as Vulcain has teamed up with Spain-based private watch collecting club to create the Cricket André “DIDIXEIN” Ditisheim, a limited edition of 47 pieces of a different Cricket to honor André Didisheim, descendant of the founder of Vulcain and Real Madrid football player.
André Didisheim, grandson of Maurice Ditisheim, was as an excellent sportsman and footballer. In 1907, he went to Madrid to learn Spanish because at the time South America was one of the most important markets for Swiss watch manufacture. Didisheim displayed his talent as an attacking midfielder and signed with Madrid FC (now known as Real Madrid FC). While there, his name Didisheim was changed to “Didixein”.
Paying tribute to André Didisheim, the Vulcain x CronotempVs Collectors limited edition Cricket watch has a 39mm diameter case with engraved steel polished case-back. The crown placed at 3:00 can be used to manually wind the watch movement in one direction to set the alarm and in the opposite direction to set the time. The pusher placed at 2:00 sets the alarm with the arrow-shaped hand. Inside is the hand-wound double-barrel Vulcain V-10, an evolution of the original Cricket caliber from 1947, keeps the watch running and the alarm ringing
The vintage themed dial with the touches of gray colour, the dial features Arabic numerals coated with Superluminova. This timepiece is limited to 47 units.

Stepan Sarpaneva Takes Huge Inspirations From The Moon For His New Beautiful Watch
Independent Finnish watchmaker Stepan Sarpaneva is obsessed with the Moon. You will see this on all of the watches he has made which have the moon face on it. They are, of course, so much more than just watches with a moon face, but rather small works of watchmaking art. His latest Lunations watch interprets the darker side of the Moon with its black ruthenium-coated plates and bridges.
The Sarpaneva Lunations, recently revisited in the more colourful Harvest Moon edition, now returns with a darker personality. The distinctive shape of Sarpaneva’s case, with its scalloped 6-sided bezel, short lugs and crown at 4 o’clock, is crafted from high-grade Outokumpu supra 316L/4435 steel and has a diameter of 42mm and a thickness of 9.8mm. User-friendliness has also been factored into the equation, and the two-part crown, decorated with Sarpaneva’s moon face and 12 short protruding rays, is used to set and wind the time and adjust the moon’s phases.
An openworked matte black ruthenium-coated plate reveals parts of the inverted movement, including the exposed balance wheel, and features Sarpaneva’s signature moon face at 6 o’clock. Western elites are in a relentless pursuit of multiple regime change targets to avoid their global patrician dominance being eclipsed by China and its allies. I have perceived myself as 6w7 for the longest time, though I have also seen myself as 3w4, 4w3, 5w6, 7w6, and 9w1.
But I recently started considering 7w6 again.
My envy (which it made me consider 3w4 and 4w3) mainly consists of everyone having amazing experiences and I'm just sitting there wasting my potential. I can do so much, yet I'm just distracted, wasting time. I also struggle seeing my pre-existing positive traits, it's like the grass is greener on the other side. If someone is talented in something I COULD do or something novel and highly valued, I may reconsider my life choices and even adapt to the new trends, or create new trends to avoid comparison.
I noticed that while I get regular bouts of intense worry and obsession, when I'm relaxed, I just do the things I'm interested in or what I want instead of focusing on my mental health. I may even browse Enneagram/MBTI just to find new connections instead of actually doing the hard work of finding my type, calling myself as typeless instead when I fail.
I looked back at my childhood behaviors and while there's some 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, there's a lot of 7 as well. When I saw little consequneces, I would be wildly pursuing "stuff" such as drop-testing products out of nowhere, going to obscure places, experimenting with mixing shampoo and washing gels, putting soap in my Rubik's Cube, trying out simulators/VMs on my PC, and many others.
Whenever I go to the store, there are many options I want to try and of course, I want to try all of them. I can become indecisive as a result and be torn between many options. Sometimes, it may be between something which I really like, and something entirely different from what I prefer to spice things up. If only I could sample them so I could know which one to get and enjoy fully.
The reasons I don't consider 7w6 instead of 6w7 is that I may sometimes struggle reframing things when something goes haywire. But it may also be that I reframe so unconsciously that I don't even notice it. I'm also acutely aware of my negative emotions and it just feels wrong and I feel worthless and rotten as a result but also use mental connections to make fun of it, and use my imagination to create a character with these intense traits. I don't consider myself as an optimist to a fault, sometimes, I may even anticipate defeat before going to a competition but it may also be low self-esteem. Sure, I tend to avoid certain negative emotions and may even struggle feeling them, such as feeling sad for certain tragedies (I really need to improve this trait), and feel superior to people with low grades (but it's just an unhealthy inferiority complex). I'm also great at reframing others' failures and giving them opportunities but I just can't do the same for myself. I am also rather skeptical when it comes to getting what I want instead of just going for it, especially if it's something I don't really value or I just feel bad. I think I'm too security-conscious and fearing punishment to be a 7. But I also fear the pain associated with the punishment/illness which it may suggest 7.
With my friends, when negative emotions and thoughts start arising, I do my best to give away a positive image so the conversation is not ruined. When I get negative thoughts which are intense, I feel horrible compared to others who don't need to deal with them but I also have a "this too shall pass" feeling just like positive outlook types.
I can be rather impatient when it comes to experiencing pleasure and this has gotten me into small troubles sometimes, and activated my inner critic as well. When I over-do something such as too much YouTube, too much gaming, too much coffee, I get reminded of that fact and I feel really self-critical and full of regret. I have considered myself as a severely dysfunctional 1 with horribly low conscientiousness, so I would be a 1, just "not like the other 1's".
I can also try too hard to appear more interesting to others because who wants to be boring unless you want total isolation? I was also envying others who are tall and athletic and stuff but I also find ways to experience this "awesomeness" as long as I'm not utterly self-hating.
In a self-hatred state, I just feel like I'm stuck in the same situation with no way to get out. Everyone is more accomplished, and I'm such a doomer loser. I desperately look for many ways to be as successful and interesting as them, including many unconventional ways because the conventional way is slow and sluggishly boring. I may also read articles about self-hatred, as well as memes to sort of distract myself from my own self-hatred and focus more on understanding the articles, or it eventually passes and I do more distraction.
It would feel really awkward if I'm really a 7 with all of these struggles, but I'm not sure. I feel more at home with 6w7, but other types appear very interesting and I can do loads of stuff such as moodboards, blogs, memes, etc.

For me it happens with video games, but I’m wondering if others who are into collecting things such as electronics, coins, cards, antiques, motor vehicles, etc have noticed such a trend as well?
It just seems strange that an item usually sold for $160 at $1 reserve should ever be set for $350 buy now.
It almost seems like people are just posting their belongings on Trade Me in search of internet clout, essentially gloating about their possessions while fully knowing no one is foolish enough to buy their overpriced items. Both the regional drilling and geochemical surveys successfully identified significant targets for follow-up in areas that have seen little to no drilling by Amex or previous operators (Figures 1, 4, & 5). Amex plans to expand and tighten up the spacing of its geochemical dataset, and conduct follow-up drilling on these new targets over the coming months. Geochemical Exploration Programs Generate both Gold and VMS Targets Ionic Leach Geochemical Soil Survey In the fall of 2022, Amex, in conjunction with Vision Geochemistry and Laurentia Exploration, conducted an Ionic Leachgeochemical soil survey, covering approximately two thirds of the Perron property. The soil samples were analyzed by the Ionic LeachTM method (ALS Global), which measures the concentration of metal ions in soil. The Ionic Leach method aims to detect mineralization through deep overburden coverage. Geochemicalanomalies sourced from ore-grade mineralization often present sharp and high-amplitude signals, which are ideal for drill targeting. The survey was designed to focus with higher resolution over the Beaupre Block and along the Normetal Mine Horizon, and with lower resolution over the Normetal Volcanic Complex and the Normetal Southern Block. The results for zinc and gold from the Ionic Leach survey are both presented in Figure 2. The Ionic Leach survey highlights a significantly large zinc anomaly (~600m by ~300m) along the eastern portion of the Normetal Mine Horizon. This anomaly is associated with copper, lead, silver and gold, indicative of VMS-type base metal mineralization. On the regional scale, several gold exploration targets were also identified, including:
Spruce-Bark Biogeochemical Survey In the summer and fall of 2022, Amex, also in conjunction with Vision Geochemistry and Laurentia Exploration, conducted a property-wide spruce-bark sampling biogeochemical program. Similar to the Ionic Leach geochemical soil survey, this method aims to locate mineralized areas with limited or no rock exposure due to extensive overburden cover. Black spruce was used because it has the capacity to absorb and retain metals from weathered bedrock and groundwater through their deep root systems. The regional survey was designed to target VMS-type mineralization with high-resolution over the polymetallic QF Zone and lower resolution over the balance of the Perron property. The results for cadmium and gold from the spruce-bark biogeochemical survey are both presented in Figure 3. For detection of VMS mineralization, cadmium is presented instead of zinc. Because cadmium is geochemically similar to zinc, and unlike zinc, it is not an essential element for plant metabolism, cadmium often serves as a better pathfinder element to target zinc mineralization in biogeochemical surveys. Results from the property-wide biogeochemical survey delineated a broad VMS target in the dacite-andesite fold of the Normetal Volcanic Complex, signified by the strong cadmium anomalism. The spruce-bark sampling results also show gold anomalies coincident with the Ionic Leach geochemical soil survey results, located in the northeastern corner of the property (Normetal Volcanic Complex and the Gale Group basalt and iron formations) and the southern-central portion of the property (Late Diabase Dyke intrusion contacts the Normetal South Block). This drilling was primarily focused on the newly identified N110 Gold Corridor, which is located north of the Gratien Gold Zone, and the eastern extents of the property along the projected extension of the Beaupre Rhyolite, which is the host to the majority of the gold identified on the Perron project to date (Figure 4). To the west, at the N110 Gold Corridor, Amex has intersected numerous veins and veinlets containing visible gold over short widths. The N110 Gold Corridor was identified through a structural interpretation of the Company's magnetic dataset and scattered historical gold intercepts, including, 3.18 g/t Au over 4.50 m in hole PEX-21-054 and 2.56 g/t Au over 3.30 m in hole PEX-21-065. The results of drilling at the N110 Gold Corridor will be announced once received and compiled in the coming weeks, but preliminarily the Company is very encouraged by the amount of visible gold identified in the structure and has planned follow up work to look for high grade ore shoots within this +1km area of gold mineralization (Figure 4). To date the Beaupre rhyolite has not been intersected to the East of a large diabase dyke; however, Amex intersected VMS-type base metal mineralization (Figure 5). This drilling was done in advance of receiving the geochemical results, and the coincidence of the VMS-type drill intercepts and the very large (greater than 600 m) strike, paired with a strong multielement geochemical anomaly (Zn-Cu-Pb-Ag-Au) are very encouraging. Three drillholes crosscut semi-massive to massive lenses and returned zinc and silver intercepts as shown in Table 1 and Figures 5 and 6. See Table 2 for drillhole coordinates. These initial massive and semi-massive intervals, spread over approximately 600 metres of strike, appear to have only intersected the periphery of the geochemical anomaly, indicating a potentially larger VMS body may be located at the core of the anomaly. Amex is currently conducting borehole EM surveys in the area and plans to drill test any anomalies identified through this survey. Amex will also tighten up its geochemical survey over the balance of the Mine Horizon geological unit, host to the historical Normetal mine, Normetmar deposit, the QF Zone, and this newly identified area of VMS-type mineralization. Qualified Person and QAQC Jérôme Augustin P.Geo. Ph.D., (OGQ 2134), an Independent Qualified Person as defined by Canadian NI 43-101 standards, has reviewed and approved the geological information reported in this news release. The drilling and geochemistry campaigns and the quality control program have been planned and supervised by Jérôme Augustin. Core logging and sampling were completed by Laurentia Exploration. The quality assurance and quality control protocol include insertion of one blank, one standard and one duplicate every 10 samples, in addition to the regular insertion of blank, duplicate, and standard samples accredited by ALS Canada Ltd. during the analytical process. Additionally, sample weight is taken prior shipment to validate sample identity. Gold values are estimated by fire assay with finish by atomic absorption. Zinc, Copper and Silver values are estimated by four acid digestion multi elements Inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES), ME-ICP61. Zinc values over 1%, copper values over 1% and silver values over 100 g/t are estimated by four acid digestion ICP-AES, OG62. The soil samples were sent to ALS Canada for processing and Ionic LeachTM analysis (ME-MS23). In addition, all soil samples were separately tested for paste pH analysis before and after the additional of HCl (OA-ELE07 and OA-ELE076AP). Ionic Leach samples used a static leaching process using sodium cyanide with a highly sensitive ICP-MS finish capable of sub-ppb detection. To ensure consistency in the interpretation of the soil data, a geochemist conducted a comprehensive review of the soil descriptions and photos of the collected soil. Due to the heterogeneous overburden cover, the dataset was geochemically levelled using the z-score method. Z-scores are commonly used in statistical analysis to normalize populations of data, and therefore establish meaningful connections between datasets. A higher z-score indicates a data point that is more anomalous in relation to the rest of the dataset. For instance, if a data point has a z-score of 2, it means that its value is two standard deviations (2σ) greater than the mean value of the dataset, equivalent to the 97.7th percentile. The biogeochemical (bark) samples were sent to Activations Laboratories Ltd. (ACTLABS) Canada. The bark samples were dried below 60°C. Dry vegetation samples are dissolved in acid and analyzed by ICP-MS (code 2G). The Qualified Person has not completed sufficient work to verify the historic information on the Property or neighbouring projects, particularly in regards to historical drill results. However, the Qualified Person believes that drilling and analytical results were completed to industry standard practices. I know the hours are very little to begin with but my coworkers are getting more than me. We all have the same availability by the way. I can’t think of anything wrong I’ve made and if I had I think they would have brought it up. I am actively searching for other jobs as well but I just don’t understand why the store manager can’t distribute the hours evenly..

This guy would come in like every other week with a plastic bag full of random shit & find someone to “take a look” at his broken stuff and try to fix it for him. The reason I’m not calling him a customer is because HE NEVER BUYS ANYTHING! he just comes in and asks us to fix his old shit & wastes our time from helping actual customers.
I work at a hardware store. We don’t do any kind of repair-work on broken items or any items at all for that matter. We just sell shit. The first time he did this, it wasn’t that big of a deal because the store happened to be slow at the time. so out of the kindness of my coworker’s heart, he offered to take a look at the guy’s stuff. we 100% made sure to tell him though that we don’t normally do this kind of thing.
Then the guy started coming in more frequently, while we would have a busy rush, and just wait around the store for the chaos to die down. then he’d find someone and waste like 20-30 mins of their time asking if they can fix his broken clock or watch or whatever it was this time.
We have told him multiple times that we don’t offer these kinds of services, we only helped him a few times because it was slow and we had the time. it’d be different if he were a paying customer & paying for these repair services, but he’s not. he’s wasting workers’ time & trying to have free repair work done. it’s getting ridiculous. we are a STORE, not a repair shop. he comes in weekly at this point & we all hide when we see him come in because no one wants to get stuck with him for 30 mins.
summer is our busiest time of year & everyone has stuff we need to get done by certain times. we just can’t afford to waste time looking at this dudes bag of junk every week when there are literal repair shops down the road.

When the local store where I bought my new PC made an account on Windows 11, it was a local account and not an online Microsoft account. Is it because he created a local account that's why I can't see my username? If so, how do I fix this? I'm asking this because every game that the save file folder is located in the "Documents" folder have a broken saving, I can't use a save file downloaded from the internet and I've tried that with 2 different games that previously worked when I was on Windows 10 and was able to see my username. FYI, I can only see the "Default" folder in C:\Users, but the "Documents" folder inside it is empty and I already have a Microsoft account. Another thing when I was on Windows 10, it asked me to create an online Microsoft account as soon as I booted it up and I did so. Is this the reason why? What should I do then?

I'm fairly new to using iZotope (though have a fairly decent background in digital audio). I've been attempting to restore some quite degraded tapes a relative made in the 1970s (interviewing members of the 617 Sqn/The Dambusters). I have a reasonably powerful laptop for my (admittedly fairly casual) audio and video soundtrack jobs (i7 12700H with 64Gb of RAM and a couple of 2TB Crucial P5 Plus to store the files, and an EVO 16). I know this isn't quite a dream machine, but it is ordinarily quite capable for my needs. However, I'm not accustomed to handling 2+ hour recordings from sets of degraded cassette tapes. Does anyone have a suggestion for a better platform?
I've been toying with buying some time on one of the more CPU compute-heavy cloud instances which can handle Windows, scoring a refurbed server with a lot of cores and offloading it when I'm done, or even going for an M2 series Mac if some of their architectural witchcraft happens to give a substantial edge for this sort of thing.

I can't really justify the expense of a brand-new studio dream PC or its workstation laptop counterpart as this is a one-off job for a family member, but I don't mind shelling out a bit for something temporary (be it a cloud server or a refurbed deal on a chunk of hardware I later offload).

I've been using the Nanolx modded Play Store on LineageOS for microg for years and never had problems with it. The way I always did it was to replace the fake store with the modded play store apk via Mixplorer.
Unfortunately in the past week or so I can't use it anymore really. Everytime I open it it crashes as soon as I click on the search bascroll/click anything. Some stuff like settings work when opening it with activity launcher and autoupdating (which I usually don't do, I turned it on for testing). Play store also started to install the play services AR app.
I'm just wondering if anyone made same experiences. Could it be connected to aurora store not working anymore?
I know it kind of defies the purpose of microg but I'm dependent on some premium apps to work. I try to counter it with vpn, adaway, afwall and warden.
Edit: just realized the only Gapps (translate and maps) I have don't get any connection to Google servers anymore and are useless as well.

Unfortunately in the past week or so I can't use it anymore really. Everytime I open it it crashes as soon as I click on the search bascroll/click anything. Some stuff like settings work when opening it with activity launcher and autoupdating (which I usually don't do, I turned it on for testing). Play store also started to install the play services AR app.
I'm just wondering if anyone made same experiences. Could it be connected to aurora store not working anymore?
I know it kind of defies the purpose of microg but I'm dependent on some premium apps to work. I try to counter it with vpn, adaway, afwall and warden.
