2023.03.25 07:50 ap3626 Ultra guardian angels
I know this is a long shot but…To the people/person who found my phone in the parking lot after ultra and actually answered and returned it at the Miami police station… I was in such a stupor that I didn’t properly say thank you and express my gratitude. I’m in the hospitality industry in Miami and know how rare it is for phones to be turned in. I unlocked the phone, said thank you, and ran out and did not at all properly thank you for actually bringing my phone in. I’ve lived in south fl for a few years now and you guys just restored my faith in humanity a little bit. I wish I could have said thank you more without being weird… whoever you are, you seriously saved me… I had pictures I couldn’t replace on this phone. Thank you ❤️

2023.03.25 07:49 CoconutSpecialist985 Sitting in the car
I looked up this subreddit at a whim.
After a night of drinking and having fun, I’m now sitting in a car listening to music. I know I’ll go inside and go to sleep soon, but for now I’m thinking of how angry I am with life and how easy I could make it go away.
I know I have things to continue on for, but I’m sitting here thinking of how I’m never going to amount to anything. I tell myself I’ve done a lot, but I still sit here. I obsess over everything I can’t control, while wanting to punch something just to feel something.
I just needed to get this out, I feel a bit better and will now go in to go to sleep. This isn’t going away, I just need to understand it better and help the medication do what it needs to do. This won’t last forever, just in the moment. Life is good so keep going and find the good

2023.03.25 07:49 Important-Werewolf-7 Unsure where to turn...
(17m 104 lbs 5"9)
Posting this for any type of opinion or direction. Nearly a year ago I began to have headaches and some stuffiness in my nose, which didn't bother immediately as I was working out everyday and attending school at 125 lbs. However this clear fluid got into my deep inner ear and plugged my entire head alongside my lungs. I felt underwater and a vice feeling of pressure got into my left ear. This caused immense thick black chunks of blood to leak from that area and a EXTREME 10/10 pain in my head. This caused my whole left arm to go numb and I got extremely lightheaded and went into a full body shake and tremor. I immediately went to a hospital and got a full body mri and ekg (which was unremarkable) however my heart rate was spiking to m160 despite laying still. Once the mri was normal I was sent home and the medical gaslighting began. I was told the blood loss was due to "taking hot showers" and the numbness in my arm and head after the massive pain was "a symptom of an anxiety disorder" which they set up outpatient. I was discharged the next day and the immense head pressure and blood/ fluid loss continued. I was having massive clumps of thick blood mixed with clear fluid come out as I violently shook around. After all this blood and fluid loss I am completely debilitated and lost 20 lbs. Is there some type of specialist or doctor who can help or at least have another test? I am at a standstill at near anorexic weight and my head is completely numb in the spot where the blood came from, yet western medicine is essentially just pushing depression pills or behavioral health because they see my immobility and lack of function as depression.

2023.03.25 07:48 cypherdust 11th gen Accord petition?
Can we simply ask Honda to scrap the 11th gen for 2024 and go back to the old production lines of the 10th gen? The 11th really are hideous from a design perspective. s many people have noted, it seems Honda wanted to cut costs in response to the pandemic and increase their profit per sale. Getting ride of the chrome accents and changing the front end into a Ford Taurus has me fuming.
They made this car less angular and more into a blob. Even the headrests now look uglier. You all went too far with the Lobster Claw complaints on the taillights. When Honda identifies criticism, it means they get a free pass to change a perfect car.
When a car is as perfect as the 10th gen, you don't change it after 5 years. Give it like 3 more years. Even the Camry is going for a sixth year.

2023.03.25 07:47 nileshcarrerhopital Know your options Immunotherapy vs. Chemotherapy
As research and development in the field of medical science progress, the effectiveness of treatment is increasing. Knowing the difference between various treatments is very important. It enables you to have a better discussion with a doctor. Also being fully aware of the kind of treatment you or your loved one is undergoing decreases stress and anxiety.
What is chemotherapy?
Chemotherapy is administered to kill cancer cells and shrink cancer cells so that the tumour decreases and surgery can be performed, at times it's even used to control the spread of cancer cells to prolong the life of a cancer patient as much as possible.
In chemotherapy, various drugs or medicines are given through intravenous (IV). A tube attached to a needle is inserted into a vein in the patient's chest. Some chemotherapy drugs can be taken in the form of tablets too while some drugs are injected into the muscle, under the skin or directly into the spinal fluid.
When administered correctly chemotherapy is a painless procedure. It should not cause any pain. In case it does call the doctor immediately. In rare cases, the medicine leaks into the surrounding tissues and that may cause pain.
Depending on the kind of cancer and stage, chemotherapy can take 5 mins to a few hours. You will be continuously monitored to ensure that the medication is not reacting negatively to your body.
Chemotherapy does have side effects but with the help of a good doctor, the side effects can be managed well and will not cause the patient discomfort.
Nausea, diarrhoea, mouth sores, fatigue and fever are some of the common side effects that can be treated easily. Keeping in touch with the doctor is very important. Any discomfort which is increasing should be immediately reported.
Hair loss in chemotherapy- not all patients lose hair while undergoing chemotherapy. Chemotherapy drugs kill growing cells. They can’t differentiate between normal and cancer cells. So not only cancer cells, but also those found in the hair follicles, mouth and gastrointestinal tract are killed. That is why some patients develop mouth sores, nausea, diarrhoea and lose their hair.
What is Immunotherapy?
This is a form of treatment that boost a person’s immunity to fight the cancer cells. The patient’s immune system is stimulated with the help of certain drugs, proteins and other elements. This kind of treatment is easy to produce and administer and therefore can be used extensively. Immune cells travel throughout the body via the lymphatic system. Since cancer cells do not contain the same composition that normal cells contain, immunotherapy targets mostly cancer cells.
Biomarkers are tests that determine the level of abnormality. They give a clearer picture of the patient's genetic makeup, behaviour, and interactions with the immune system. Biomarkers in Immunotherapy are easy to obtain. Biomarkers are very important in cancer treatment because they determine the course of treatment. td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}
https://careerhospital.in/mission-and-vision https://careerhospital.in/mission-and-vision Also for immunotherapy liquid biopsy can be conducted so that results can be obtained easily and quickly. General biopsy for immunotherapy assesses immune cell status rather than tumour characteristics. Which again is very unique to this treatment.
IHC- Immunohistochemistry assays are used widely because they can indicate the distribution and localization of specific cellular components within cells and in proper tissue context which doctors can use to provide better treatment. Its specific standards are laid down for immunotherapy. It is also easy to predict responses in patients being administered immunotherapy. td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}
https://careerhospital.in/mission-and-vision Immunotherapies are administered into a vein (IV), through an injection, under the skin or into a muscle some are injected directly into the body cavity where the tumour is located.
This kind of therapy also causes side effects like fatigue, fever, shortness of breath, nausea or vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, decreased appetite, rash and itching.
On the whole, immunotherapy is relatively cost-friendly.
Many oncologists prefer a combination of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy.
Several clinical trials are being conducted to increase the effectiveness and decrease the side effects of immunotherapy. td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}
https://careerhospital.in/mission-and-vision Depending on your case, symptoms, and stage of cancer Oncologist at
Career Cancer Hospital, Bhopal MP decide which treatment to offer. Doctors use biochemical markers to decide the kind of treatment that is best for patients. Biochemical markers like hormones, enzymes, proteins, antigens, or antibodies produced or altered while cancer cells come together are studied carefully.
A team of specialised and dedicated doctors and staff are here to make this journey to fight cancer easy and successful. td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}

I am uncertain about this after my MSC...when you engage 1st gear from a dead stop do you use the throttle or just the friction zone/power walking?
Coming from a lifetime of driving manual transmission cars, I'm not sure which is better for the clutch and especially not sure which is safeadvised on a motorcycle...

2023.03.25 07:43 Throwaway_Barclay Neighbourly threats of legal action.
Hi, i hope you can help.
My neighbour and I don't get on, there has been issues with noise management a few years ago, but I generally feel it's a live and let live scenario at this stage. We live civilly and ignore each other. That is until about 2 weeks ago.
Two weeks ago, he alleged that a friend who was a visitor to my house hit his car whilst it was parked and stationary. He notified me, and I passed on her phone number for contact details. He decided to report the matter to an accident claim management company within a few hours. My limited understanding is that there was no damage or incident to report.
A week ago, he sent me a message suggesting we have a chat after the council visited him for leaving an electrical car charging cable exposed across a public pavement. I replied, saying it was weird, he's been doing it for years, and there was no issue for me. I understand he received a fixed penalty notice for this.
Yesterday, my friend parked her vehicle on our road for the first time in two weeks. It is a public highway, and she had a valid visitors permit, but it was parked in proximity to his house. His wife knocked on my door and demanded rather abruptly that my wife moved her friends car. My friend came, my wife stepped away, and tjere was a conversation where my friend refused to move the car, citing it was her prerogative owing to it being a public highway, etc.
He has now begun to send me a series of threatening, argumentative, and bullying text messages, accusing me of sanctioning certain antics even though I was at work. He is saying he will sue me for bullying, and it's all quite upsetting. He knows that I am a nurse, and he's saying the litigation process will be costly and financially difficult for me. I told him I wanted no part of it. I have asked him to stop and told him these legal and financial threats are bordering on harassment. I'm a bit unnerved when I hear terms like "see you in court." I don't really know anything about this sort of thing. Any advice would be welcome.

2023.03.25 07:42 MyNameIsMattYeah Why does one of the light switches in my car feel very hot when I touch it?
Geez...problems after problems after problems with my current car.
Let me summarize:
I own a 2007 Honda Accord. Several times in the past, when I would start driving my car, after it had been parked outside for a while in the cold weather here in Minnesota, the brake pedal would literally "freeze". It would not budge at all when I would push my foot against it. This would all happen while my car was still driving. I was so lucky that I did not hit any incoming cars on the road because this scenario has previously occurred with my car crossing intersections at red lights. Only after 3-5 attempts of trying to push down the brake pedal, did the brake pedal finally move down.
The most recent incident occurred a few days ago at my apartment parking lot. I left my car sitting outside in the cold weather here in Minnesota. A few hours later, I went outside, and I drove off in my car. Right away, my brake pedal was freezing again. After 2-5 attempts of the brake pedal not going down when pushing my foot against it, I turned my emergency brake on. Still, my car was not stopping. I then tried pressing my brake pedal again, and finally...It went down, and my car stopped. My emergency brake pedal started working again also. Since this was happening it my apartment parking lot, I was driving very slow...But, there were many cars around me, and I was lucky to not hit any of them.
I finally took my car to an auto shop. I had paid the mechanic to do a "full vehicle inspection" on my car, and I also told him about the issue with my brake pedal and emergency brake as well. A few days later, he told me that my car needed some major repairs, and that it would cost around $3500. We decided to have those repairs done.
When I went to pick up my car after the repairs were done, and I was driving out of the auto shop parking lot, I noticed that my brake pedal felt "loose". It definitely moved, that was not the issue this time...It was moving too much. I literally had to press the brake pedal all-the-way down to get my car to stop. Another issue I have been having with my car for quite some time now is...When I would drive my car, I would frequently hear a "squeaking" type noise coming from the underside of my car. Even after the repairs done by the mechanic, that problem was also not gone.
The next day, I brought my car back to the same auto shop. They rechecked my car, and then told me that one of the brake calibers was "faulty", and that was what was causing my brake pedal to feel loose. When they repaired my car the first time, they changed/fixed all of the calibers BESIDES for one of them because at that time it didn't seem to be a problem. However, after re-examining my car, they now see that one untouched caliber needed to be fixed. It was going to cost another $560. They said doing this repair would fix the "loose" feeling brake pedal. In regard to the squeaky noise coming from my car when driving, they said: "We don't know what's causing that squeaky nose, but we want to fix "one thing at a time and the first thing to fix is that one brake caliber".
Things seemed sketchy to me and my stepdad. We told the mechanic that we "needed some time to think about it". He gave us back my car, and I brought my car to another auto shop mechanic (which I will refer to as "auto mechanic #2"), explained what was happening, and he stated that he would do his own inspection to determine why my brake pedal was feeling loose and what was causing the squeaky noise.
The next day, auto mechanic #2 called us back. He stated that he did a thorough inspection of the car, and that my brakes were completely fine. There were no problems with any of the brake calibers, even though the first auto mechanic stated that one of them still needed to be fixed.
However, auto mechanic #2 stated that he found some other major problem with my car or its engine, and that some repairs would need to be done. It would cost $1500. My stepdad and I stated that was fine, so mechanic #2 did the repairs.
I just got my car back tonight. The brake pedal is still feeling "loose", even though auto mechanic #2 stated that all of the brake calibers were fine and that nothing was wrong with my brakes.
However, there is a new problem that I am now finding out. When I touch the right light switch to turn the light on inside my car, the light switch feels very warm. I have never experienced this before.
My question for you: Why does my car's right light switch feel very warm when I touch it?

Hey all,
(I apologise in advance for structure, posting from my phone)
I’m a third year plant science student and I am currently writing a report on a simulation that I ran on APSIM.
The simulation tested the application of nitrogen fertiliser at growth stages Z 25, 30, 39 and 50.
The real problem is that I am struggling to find journal papers on the application of nitrogen before the pseudostem and after. Any recommendations are welcome.

Alright, don't know what else to post this. The gaming community is something else, never thought it would be such a huge impact in my life.
In 2019 I tried ending my life, I was hospitalized for some time. When I got out though I started gaming.
I meet this fellow gamer named Pablo (obviously gamer tag) after a while meet other gamers with him and we created this group.
We keep updated with our lives have a chat of Facebook and everything.
It wasn't till today I told Pablo that he brought me out of a dark place and he most likely saved my life.
I don't know why I'm posting this to be honest. Maybe to share my short story, maybe to even read similar story's in the comments. Which would be nice actually, to read yalls story's on how gaming has changed you and your life.
I will end my story with this though, I didn't know how old Pablo was, eventually found out he was but a kid (to me). Nearly a 12 year age gap. He graduates school soon and I hope the best for him for he has made the best for me throughout the years.
I hope y'all find someone to game with and change your life for the better.

2023.03.25 07:35 NoPersonality657 FF keeps crashing in Dx11, Dx9 UI doesn’t work
Hi guys I’ve been trying to figure out a fix for FF but basically my game crashes right as I enter the loading screen after character selection after the queue in DX11, no error message is given. I’ve try under clocking my gpu, I’ve uninstalled reinstalled, did the patch thing in the launcher and it doesn’t work. For Dx9 sometimes it crashes, but the UI becomes unusable if I could stay longer than 5 mins. My minimap is gone, I can’t access menus and if I could nothing works i.e I could get into the menu with ESC but pressing exit game doesn’t do anything. I’m really sad and I’ve looked at previous posts and other forums and nothing has helped.
I’m sure my pc has nothing wrong with it bc I’ve played other more graphic demanding games. Cyberpunk and other games work fine… help 🥹

2023.03.25 07:34 Sea_Nothing3260 Gossip Girl's cancelled season 3 - I decided to imagine the whole season
Hi everyone, As you all know, GG 2.0 is dead. But as much as I disliked a lot of things with the reboot, I liked the characters and like to imagine what season 3 could have been about. I decided to use my talent as an unemployed, but licensed, screenwriter to write the plot of the whole season and each episode (I decided it would be 12, but I'll only post the 4 first episodes and see if people are interested. No need to spam the sub if no one is invested). It's a been long, I took the time to really think about it... I guess it's really time I find someone to hire me.
Note : I'm not rewriting the show. I tried to keep the "heart" of the reboot and what's already done. Even if I write something I like, I'm not trying to make it my thing but rather someting that could have really happened. For new characters, I tried to imagine actors who could played them. I tried to choose actors who could really play in GG. For example : I won't say Angelina Jolie or someone too big.
EPISODE 1 - AN INFLUENCER IS BORN
Well, well, well, Upper East Siders, it's the end of summer, and Constance St. Jude is back in session. And so am I, back from the dead, with a brand-new account and a fresh batch of scandals to reveal. Just to be clear, I'm not some teacher, and I'm definitely not Dan Humphrey. I just love the chaos. And speaking of chaos, let's have a laugh at Mr. Menzies, shall we ? My first juicy secret of the season : he planned to create a Gossip Girl app to spy on all you lovely nepo kids. Not only is that idea utterly ridiculous, but I'm sure the students of Constance St. Jude will be thrilled to know that one of the richest men in the world has nothing better to do than to harass his own child's peers. Isn't that right, Aki ?
But Mr. Menzies is merely a drop in the ocean of scandal. It's a new school year, and I think it's about time we pulled back the curtain to let everyone enjoy the most twisted senior year they could ever imagine. Dearest Constance St. Jude students, you've strutted around like peacocks for far too long, believing yourselves to be invincible. And let's not forget about your dear parents, who've been pulling the strings behind the scenes. Grades, exams, and results at Constance St. Jude have been manipulated for years by your doting guardians, desperate to secure your futures at any cost. Bribery, intimidation, harassment... But the most delicious part ? You, their darling offspring, are completely in the dark, basking in your false sense of brilliance. Felicity Huffman walked so the parents of Constance St. Jude could sprint. Now, let's get back to our favorite Upper East Siders, shall we ?
Spotted : J and O, entwined in each other's arms all summer long. But as they return to the hallowed halls of high school, our darling Queen J seems to be jetting off with Obie's private plane more often than not. She claims it's all about professional opportunities, but are those opportunities the real reason she's been MIA and losing followers by the day ? Perhaps they're finding L more captivating. Poor Monet must be lost in this shifting landscape. Is her friendship with L stronger than her craving for attention ? Maybe she'll find some in Angela (played by Rachel Sennott), the Buffalo Next Door who arrived at Constance on the same program as Zoya and who just so happens to be her former nemesis. An enemy in common makes for a passionate alliance. But did Queen Monet ever imagine her senior year would bring a love story with Middle America ?
In the meantime, Z is relishing her newfound singlehood, fluttering from one social butterfly to another. Word on the street is that a certain Philip has piqued her interest. But who is this mysterious suitor ? On the flip side, Audrey is burning the midnight oil to rescue her mother Kiki's floundering fashion empire. In her valiant efforts, she's sought assistance from her father Richard, who in turn introduced her to Vince (played by Michael Cristofer) and his son, Seth (played by Jack Alcott). Hushed whispers suggest a strange alliance between Vince and Richard, entwined with money and familial bonds. Could we be looking at an arranged marriage in the halls of power ?
The fashion world is abuzz as L is poised to make her mark as a top model, inviting everyone to a runway event that will seal her fate. But instead of celebrating L's success, J and M can't seem to shake their envy. It might be time for J to swallow her pride and consider stepping into the role of L's assistant – what a twist of fate ! Max, never one to miss an opportunity, has made his grand return, arm in arm with the mysterious Paolo. Poor Z is left reeling when she discovers that her new beau Philip is actually one and the same. J, too, is shocked as she recognizes the face of her secret Italian rendezvous, Pablo. It looks like he’ll be a new student at Constance St. Jude now. Aki and Audrey, on the other hand, are left with heavy hearts as they watch Max moving on without them.
Brace yourselves, because with these twists and turns, this year promises to be nothing short of explosive. XOXO, Gossip Girl
EPISODE 2 - AMERICAN PSYCHO-SOCIALITES
Hello again, Upper East Siders! It's your one and only Gossip Girl here, dishing out the latest on the elite. Word on the street is that Mr. Menzies has organized a lavish brunch, not only to redeem his tarnished image after my little exposé but also as a pretext to gather the parents of Constance St. Jude. You see, they're scrambling to devise a strategy in the wake of the scandalous exam fiasco I so graciously brought to light. It seems like everyone's invited, but rumor has it Aki's on the verge of cutting ties with his dear old dad. How heartbreaking ! And can you blame him ? It takes courage to stand up to a closed-minded father who's more concerned about appearances than his own flesh and blood. So here's to you, Aki !
Audrey seems utterly oblivious to Aki's internal struggle, far too busy cozying up to Seth. At first, she was hesitant, but now she's come to the stark realization that following her father's lead may be the only way to save her Kiki's long fall from grace. Aki is ready to play his part in this twisted game, but it's only a matter of time before the whole charade goes up in flames. And with Seth shamelessly flirting with Aki throughout the brunch, it's safe to say the sparks are already flying. Meanwhile, our dear Max is drowning his sorrows, betrayed by Paolo's web of lies. While Little Z and J have washed their hands of Paolo, Max can't resist the temptation and finds himself back in his deceitful embrace.
Once again, everyone's got it out for J. Why didn't she spill the beans about her secret rendezvous with Paolo ? She swears there was no affair, but refuses to reveal the real reason behind their meetings. J's hoping the brunch will bring her closer to Carla (guest star: Sarah Michelle Gellar), a powerhouse influencer agent who could help her maintain her status – especially now that her father's financial support seems to be mysteriously dwindling. Camille had planned to introduce M to some Ivy League bigwigs, hoping it would be enough to save faces considered Monet's less than impressive academic prowess, but M was far too preoccupied flirting and sneaking off with Angela. A covert affair, but for how long can they keep it under wraps ?
In a final twist, Camille pays a visit to Kate, desperately trying to uncover my true identity. Good luck with that, Camille ! You see, I have no connection to Kate at all. As I've said before, I'm here for the chaos, and I won't be unmasked that easily. XOXO Gossip Girl.
EPISODE 3 - THE SHAPE OF SCANDAL
Hey there, Upper East Siders ! It's your one and only Gossip Girl back with another juicy tidbit. The weekend may be here, but there's never a pause when it comes to scandalous affairs. After all, the city never sleeps, and neither do I.
Word has it that J and L are set to share the limelight in an upcoming photoshoot, lensed by none other than Laurie Simmons (guest star: Laurie Simmons) for J. Humphrey's Designs. The feature's all about high schoolers on the cusp of stardom, but can these two rising stars put their differences aside for the sake of the perfect shot ? The tension in the air is as thick as the layers of makeup on their faces, but I have a feeling this is one catwalk catfight we won't want to miss.
Well, it's a matter of time before J and L's bickering reach its boiling point. And while they may kiss and make up, at least for now, it looks like J's already lost her coveted contract with Carla. Our favorite agent wasn't too thrilled about working with someone so unprofessional. And when Z swooped in to offer some unsolicited lecture, it was enough to send Carla packing. But it's not all doom and gloom, as L seems to have come out on top. Cozying up to Florian and landing herself a leading role in an upcoming film – it seems like this girl's star is on the rise. Watch out, mama, there's really a new queen bee in town.
It seems Audrey's life is taking a turn for the worse. With Kiki's world falling apart, Eleanore's support can only do so much. Downgrading to a less prestigious zip code ? Desperate times call for desperate measures, and Audrey's ready to play her father's game : she's ditching Aki and calling it quits. Poor Aki, losing his father and girlfriend in one fell swoop. But fear not, for our dear Max is ever-present, eager to console Aki. Just when Aki leaned in for a comforting kiss with him, Max dropped the bomb that their romantic escapades were a thing of the past. However, he graciously offered to revisit the idea of friendship, opening the door for Aki to become part of his life again. At least one happy ending around the two As.
M escaped the Big Apple for a wild time in Los Angeles with Angela, hiding from her mother and dancing the night away in a swanky club. But what's this ? It seems M's little pink book extends to the West Coast, leaving Angela more than a little surprised. Back in NYC, J's post-photoshoot plans took a turn as she drowns her sorrows in a night of partying after a tiff with O, who's fed up with her mysterious ways. As she loses herself in the haze, who should come to her rescue but Paolo ? Under the influence, she thanks him for keeping her secret safe and kisses him.
Hold onto your hats, Upper East Siders. This is one storm you won't want to miss. XOXO, Gossip Girl
EPISODE 4 - DRAMATIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM
Good evening Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl here, and I've got some hot tea for you. In a world where everyone's searching for that elusive reset button, our favorite Constance St. Jude's girls decide a Hamptons weekend getaway is just what the doctor ordered. But let's not forget the storm brewing back at school, where the faculty is getting a makeover to quell the scandal of those rigged exams. Julien, Zoya, Monet, Luna, Shan, and Audrey are about to embark on a journey they won't soon forget, and you better believe I'll be watching every step.
Spotted : Monet and Luna, their tension thicker than a Manhattan smog. Seems like Luna's feeling abandoned, but Monet's got her own secrets to hide. When will she talk about the Buffalo in the room ? Just when they're about to claw each other's eyes out, who do they find crashing their girls-only Hamptons getaway ? None other than Paolo. With steam coming out of their ears, these two turn into amateur detectives to solve the mystery of the unwelcome guest. Good luck, ladies—you'll need it.
Poor little Audrey, drowning her post-breakup blues and dragging J down with her. But J doesn't need Audrey's help to spiral—she's got enough skeletons in her closet to fill a graveyard. Concerned Z can't help but fret over her sister, but her worries multiply when she suspects Shan's been drawn into a cult. Finding Shan's activist past erased from Instagram only adds fuel to the fire, but answers remain as elusive as ever.
Meanwhile, back in the Big Apple, Aki has a "chance" encounter with Seth. But the truth ? Seth was itching to see Aki again and made sure their paths crossed. As Seth bares his soul about his marriage fears, he's reduced to tears but stays tight-lipped about the details. And Max's weekend away with Gideon, Roy, and Saskia ? Let's just say things went south when they confronted him about his self-destructive ways and suggested therapy. Once again, Aki ends up being Max's support system – talk about drama.
Not one to be left out, Obie heads to the Hamptons to join the crew. At a wild party, J faces an interrogation from the gang, who demand answers to her ongoing secretive behavior. Meanwhile, O catches J locking lips with Paolo as he covertly sneaks into the residence. As everyone turns against J, she flees with Paolo, leaving a tipsy O and Audrey to find comfort in each other's embrace.
And so, as our scandalous weekend in the Hamptons comes to a close, it's time to bid adieu. But don't worry, my dear, I'll be keeping a watchful eye on all the sordid secrets and juicy dramas that are sure to unfold. Until next time, you know you love me, XOXO, Gossip Girl.

2023.03.25 07:32 ElectricalOstrich552 I emotionally cheated and didn't realize it.
When I was in my senior year of high school, I grew emotionally attached for one of my teachers ("T"). When we first met I was 17 and he was 51, with a wife a daughter close to my age. I developed feelings for him. I methodically adjusted my body language to such feelings when I was in front of him, and then when I was alone with friends I spoke obsessively about him. This became a habit.
After I graduated, T and I stayed in contact. My conversations with him grew even more intimate and some of our text messages were inappropriate. I didn't realize it at the time. We would sometimes say subtly sexual things to each other, and he hid some of our conversations from his family, but I thought that since he wasn't trying to meet me up for sex then that was okay. I thought it meant he never noticed my feelings for him, which would also mean that we were exclusively platonic. I was wrong.
I also had issues with my father, so I used T as a replacement male figure. Also a mistake.
That fall was my first college semester and that's when I met my now BF. BF and I started out as friends. During this time I was still speaking of T obsessively. And continued to do so months into the relationship. There were times when BF and I had issues in our relationship and I'd confide in T instead of BF. I also compared them a lot. It was a chronic pattern and I did it without thinking.
My BF eventually found the courage to address this to me. He told me how wrong it all was and how hurtful it was to him. I feel terrible. It was so cruel of me. It eats me up inside. I emotionally cheated on my bf with my former teacher and then tore another family apart (I reported T to my HS, he got fired, and now his wife and daughter are confused).
I'm not officially diagnosed but have a handful of autistic traits, one of which being a lack of social intuition. I wish I saw from the beginning how wrong it all was. My bf had to be the one who told me and for that I'm unspeakably embarrassed and ashamed. I think I deserve to never be happy again.
Tldr: I emotionally cheated on my bf with my former hs teacher and was too selfish, socially inadequate, and self unaware to realize it until he told me. I need to get this off my chest. I hate myself.

2023.03.25 07:29 Wrong-Capital-2150 Does anyone else experience significant emotional reaction delays?
I think I really just need vent here, but like the title says, can anyone relate?
The story is, I met this girl, we shall call her Amber, in 2016. We were friends, I told her I had feelings for her and she said she did not reciprocate, but that wouldn’t stop our friendship.
We then became extremely close, FaceTiming every day, spending all of our free time together, cuddling in bed together, but nothing ever happened. Some drama happened and we didn’t speak for a few months, but when we started talking again we picked up right where we left off. We did a lot of traveling together in 2017. After the travel, more drama, no talk.
Fast forward to early 2018, back to how we were, but with one hitch. I addressed a lot of mistakes I made and that I believe she made as well, become much more confident, and asked her out officially. She said yes, but more life stuff happened and basically we just stayed friends instead. However, still acting very flirtatious, cuddling, etc.
The end of that year, I had been trying to become a better person & change some of my avoidant tendencies. When I did, Amber started manipulating my new-found vulnerability and I decided I was finally done. I know a problem of it could be that I did so by text (distance) so I never got closure. This was early 2019.
She was my main best friend, closest person, really my everything for like 3 years. And when I cut her off, I was sad and it was hard, but I knew it was for the best. I kind of put it to the back of my mind and never really addressed those emotions.
Come late 2021, out of genuinely NO where, I can’t get Amber out of my head. For maybe 2 weeks I’m flooded with emotions about our 3 year on again/off again situation-ship. I cried it out & let it go. Now fast forward here we are, 2023, FOUR years later, and it’s happening again.
Does anyone else with avoidant/detached emotional struggles feel like their emotions come back to haunt them YEARS later? I do take a daily medication that has a primary reported side effect of emotional dissociation, so I know that is probably part of it, but it just really sucks. It would be nice to know I’m not crazy or alone in this problem.

2023.03.25 07:28 beastwithteeth reynaud's as a result of self induced nerve damage?
have been relapsing pretty hard recently, went to town on my arm. fat depth cuts. probably did some nerve damage cuz my pinkie and ring fingers feel a bit staticky but eh, whatever. then today i was out with friends in the cold (just above freezing) and when we got back to the car my ring finger was totally numb and white. ive always had poor circulation but this has never happened before now. is it connected to the nerve damage? or just a coincidence?
here is a pic of my hand (just showing the white finger no visible sh), hopefully allowed but mods lmk if i should remove the link.
i was able to get circulation and feeling back after a few minutes and it seems to be reynauds, which ive read can be caused by injury but i guess i just want to confirm that this is probably the cause?

2023.03.25 07:27 AdAdventurous7552 My boyfriend cheated on me after giving birth to our twins
I was going through my boyfriends phone and saw he had a girl blocked on Facebook, I decided to look up her name and message her come to find out that he had messaged her and was seeking to hook up, the messages were dirty and there was pictures exchanged. The girl supposedly didn’t know that I was in the picture or that he just had recent newborns. It hadn’t even been a month, a little past two weeks that our babies got released from the hospital he was asking this girl to hangout on his day off when he should’ve been with me and the babies. I feel insecure and disgusted. It’s not like I do not give my boyfriend attention, before or after I had given birth. I have given him everything. I confronted him a week ago and he’s begging that I forgive him. I feel like I’m never going to forget that he did this to me especially during a vulnerable time. There’s so much more to the story but that’s all I really have to say. My heart hurts. I do not deserve this.

2023.03.25 07:26 Independent-Creme610 Should I (f 25) break up with my boyfriend (M 24)? - I really need some advice
So my boyfriend and I are in a long-distance relationship, and we live ~ 4 hours' drive away. We have broken up before because he cheated on me. But last summer, he reached out to me and kept messaging me, basically telling me that he's missed me & what he did before ( cheating) is due to bipolar, not because of him. He was having a manic episode last summer too. Seeing him struggling with mental health and having a worsening relationship with his family just made me feel so bad for him. So I began talking to him again & he also told me that he'd look for jobs in my city so he could move closer to me in the future ( he lived in a rural area and didn't have a job / I live in a big city and have a job so that makes more sense for him to look for a job here). So after 1 month or so, we got back together last August. And during that time ( August to Jan) he called me every night because he was going thru a lot mentally and I always listened to him for hours. and from there I got used to having a phone call every night with him as we cannot see each other often.
And around Jan, I told him I wanted to go on a weekend skiing trip together, so we looked up hotels and booked one. a couple of weeks after we booked the trip, he signed up for an exam. fast forward to Feb, I asked him if he'd want to spend valentines day together but he said" we are gonna go on the trip on the following weekend anyway so we could celebrate it later". I wasn't 100% happy about that but I was ok to celebrate it a few days later. and then on the Friday of valentines week, the day he was supposed to come to my place and then we would go on the trip on Saturday, he texted me the afternoon in the afternoon saying that " his car is broken" and " there is something wrong with ignition" so he cannot drive on Friday. I was getting packed for the trip so when I got the message I called him right away but he didn't pick up. A few hours later, he called me back, saying that he has called the technician and they probably could come during the day and he could come up to my place on Saturday and we could still go on the trip. So at first, I was like " that's too unlucky, I hope they could fix it" and then I went on the website to just wanna check the hotel status and noticed that the booking has been cancelled by him. So at that moment, I realized there is something up, I called him and asked him where we gonna stay on the trip if the hotel is cancelled. at first, he was telling me" oh we could always find someplace to stay" but eventually, he told me he made up the car issue & he didn't want to go on the trip because the exam he signed up is gonna be in 3 weeks and he wanted to study for it. And he said gonna stay at my place a whole week before the exam so we got enough time to hang out anyway (because his brother needed to take the flight from my city& back to my city and he needed to drop off and pick up his brother so he wanted to save the traffic time, so he wanted to stay at my place for a week). from my point, exams are of course, important and he should take time to study. However, I also knew that he went on a bachelor trip two weekends before and went to a party bus and got a hangover for days a weekend ago so I felt like only the plans with me got sacrificed or cancelled like I'm not important. and even if he needed to cancel it, he could have told me earlier and given me enough time to process it instead of lying to me on the day we were supposed to meet. But I forgave him for this in the end and he said he's gonna make a plan after he passes his exam to make up to me and I accepted it. 2 weeks after he finished his exam, I mentioned that if he wanted to come up to my place and make the trip and he got pissed because the way I mentioned it - I said " remember you said you wanna make up for me for the trip" and somehow things got escalated and he smashed his phone... and he also said " i cannot do it this weekend but maybe I could do next weekend!!" and the next week ( which is this week) he never mention it again about the trip :)

2023.03.25 07:26 Ok-Row7225 Heritage Resource Management or Cultural Resource Management in Germany
Hi everyone! I am an archaeologist and received my bachelor degree in evolutionary anthropology about 8 years ago now. I have been a practicing archaeologist in the field of Cultural Resource Management for about the last 8 years and have done the full spectrum of shovel bumming but also have worked as a crew chief and am a project lead with experience with permits, report writing, budget writing, site evaluations, running projects, and data management. I have had a bit of experience in Belgium but most of my work experience has been in the western United States. Right now I am also working on my masters degree and will hopefully have it in about a year. My masters has a heavy focus on museum collection management, oral histories, artifact interpretation, descendant community collaboration and capacity building, and diaspora studies.
I am curious what job prospects are like in Germany for archaeology, heritage resource management, Cultural Resources Management, or museum collection/curation management? I am also working on my German so hope to have a decent proficiency in several years. My boyfriend (who is a German citizen) and myself (an American citizen) are planning to move to Germany in a few years after I get my masters. So trying to plan for the future and work on any skills that might be useful. Debating on going for a Ph.D in Germany too as there are several programs over there that I am very interested in and I figured it might helpful with future job prospects. Also of course gonna learn more about regional history and archaeology on my own time too cuz would want to have some contextual knowledge.
Any info or suggestions are helpful! Thanks for your help and time.
