Hello! I think its pretty common consensus by this point that 76... Let's say was not the best the Fallout universe has to offer. But I have noticed talking about it with people that one part of the game people liked was its emphasis on cryptozoology: The study of unknown, mysterious creatures like Bigfoot, Dogman, the Loch Ness Monster, etc. As such, I figured I would make this post as a sort of hub for people to share their homebrews of the cryptids of the wasteland. Share whatever stat blocks you may feel are appropriate here, from ghosts to bigfeet. If anyone is looking for some suggestions, here's some ideas for cryptids that could be fun to give lore and stats in the fallout universe:

• Champ. America's very own equivalent to the Loch Ness Monster, and probably the most famous lake monster in the country, Champ is so named because he lives in Lake Champlain. He's even kind of a mascot for the town, he even has his own local brand of potato chips. Generally speaking, his descriptions come in two types: A plesiosaur-like critter like his Scottish cousin and a more traditional sea serpent. Was he always real, or did the power of mutation and dramatic irony cause fiction and reality to overlap?
• Dogman. While sightings of these werewolf-like cryptids come from all over the country, they are particularly associated with Michigan and Wisconsin. Usually resembling something out of The Howling, the Dogman is a large, powerful humanoid creature with a thick coating of fur and a head like a canine. While some believe the dogman to merely be people misidentifying emaciated bears, the legend of such beasts is supposedly centuries old, and there is even a quite enjoyable little song titled The Legend about these creatures, which caused a spike in their popularity.
• The Beast of Bladenboro. This is a less famous one but could potentially look really badass in Fallout. The Beast of Bladenboro was a vampiric catlike monster that was allegedly responsible for a string of livestock and pet killings in 1953-54. Alleged sightings of the beast said it resembled a massive bobcat with pronounced fangs, and its victims being drained of blood suggests the purpose of such weapons.
• Alien Big Cats. This one is probably the easiest to explain in fallout via mutated housecats and escaped zoo animals. Alien Big Cats are not feline animals from outer space, rather they are big cats found in a place they are not normally native to. Panthers in Britain, Lions in Texas, etc. In the real world if these creatures DO exist they likely are exotic pets that escaped confinement or were set free, but in the fallout universe, while that is possible, it could also be a case of convergent evolution brought upon by rapid onset mutation, similar to how yao-guai were able to mutate from black bears into something more like grizzly bears in size and ecological role.
• Hogzilla. Particularly well known in the southern states, Hogzillas are also potentially explicable using mutation. Simply put, wild boar that grow much larger than they normally would, we're talking like "Porcine Minivan" huge, with a temper to match. These ones would likely be supremely tanky in their stats, and I don't wanna know what could happen to someone on the business end of those tusks.
• Jersey Devil. This one is a classic. The Jersey Devil is a draconic or demonic-looking creature found in the pine barrens of New Jersey. I could see this being one of the few outright mystical (or at least inexplicable) entities out there, or it could be animals exposed to some strain of FEV, either could work.
• Chupacabra. Ending the list out with another classic. The Chupacabra is usually given one of two descriptions: The Puerto Rican Chupacabra resembles a small reptilian creature, roughly humanoid with large black spikes on its back and beady black eyes, believed to potentially be an escaped government experiment, while the other Texan Chupacabra resembles a large, hairless canine of some sort (And in real life is probably just mangey dogs, wolves or coyotes being misidentified but we won't let that stop us here). Given the nature of radiation, government conspiracy before the war, and the FEV virus in the Fallout universe, it would be totally possible for both versions of this creature to exist in the fallout universe.

I'm by the Franklin Lakes, Mahwah area. There's these ground cover weeds with tiny purple flowers that pop up around this time and the bees go nuts for them. So I leave these plants be until the flowers go away. The flowers are just starting to go but I'm only just seeing a trickling of bees now. A huuuuge drop off from the numbers I saw last year.
I know they sprayed the area heavily for mosquitos last year. I'm just curious if it's just my little pocket area or it's a wider problem.

Our company is finally trying to grow up and has adopted ZoomInfo, Hubspot, and Sales Navigator. We are moving away from sf to fully using hubspot. They’re also pushing us to do more of our own outbound.
Can anyone share some top use cases for using them in conjunction? We’ve got them all integrated into office365 and are now tracking some metrics (sadly). All of these tools are powerful. We have huge territories that are just entire verticals each. So that in of itself is a challenge.
I find I can spend time, a full or half day, just trying to figure out the best process to use them well. It’s overwhelming. We just got training on sequences and templates. Intents for ZI. Sales navigator is pretty nice actually for my industry which is pretty niche.

Completed a sprint tri about 1.5 weeks ago (750m lake swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run). Finished in 1:46 so middle of the pack racer and it wasn’t a full out effort, still had some energy after the race. I have not done any training since race day and plan to pick up training again next week. I am registered for an Olympic distance on July 15, which gives me a total of 6 weeks til race day from the day I resume training.
I’m by no means a podium racer and have no plans to go all out on race day. Just want to get out there and have fun. But if 6 weeks of training is not going to get me into “having fun shape”, then I’m considering changing to the sprint distance.
Just looking for some thoughts and opinions on the short training transition from sprint to Olympic. Is it enough time to train for double the distance on race day in 6 weeks and not completely suffer? And not get injured in the process!

I’ve been running with a setup from college of a sony recover and some Polk bookshelf's that me and a buddy wired up almost 10 years ago.
Recently took advantage of a Best Buy sale, and picked up a set of Kef R5s and an open box Arcam AVR10 receiver.
First, anyone know if the Arcam is as terrible as that one review says? Sounds like it’ll be a tedious setup, but I got a great deal so can put up with that if it sounds good. Sound quality for music is def the biggest thing for me.
It also sounds like I’m going to want to bi-amp the speakers, and I was curious what type of speaker wire would be needed to do that? The Kef’s are 8 ohms, and honestly have no idea what I’ll need. Wiring probably won’t run more than 4-5 feet. Also remembering I used banana plugs for my prior setup, and not sure if there are special considerations when picking those out since I bought the last set at a Radio Shack “we’re going out of business” blowout. Lol

Hey everyone! I just have a quick (hopefully) question. I had my loans switched over to Mohela from Great Lakes a couple months ago, after I had my temporary PSLF approved.
I currently have 17 loans showing in my Mohela account. The longest one shows I have 119 qualifying payments and then it dwindles down a little bit to 111 payments for my most recent loans I took out.
Once my oldest loan reaches 120 qualifying payments, will the rest of my loans be forgiven as well? Or do I need to consolidate my loans into one? I wasn’t given any guidance to n that, that I’m aware of.

My car is totaled per the adjuster. It’s taking forever even just waiting for the final value from adjuster. Verbally I was told an amount. I do have an exact dollar amount written down from phone conversation. Haven’t received check yet either. It’s all pending due to them obviously being understaffed. If I replace my vehicle before it’s finalized (I need to be able to drive to work), will I still get reimbursed the $2,000 in sales tax the adjuster estimated I would get? Or does vehicle have to be purchased after total loss paperwork sent to me? I have placed a call as well, but of course the staffing at the carrier is awful. The service is awful too.

I am looking into getting into 3D Printing. Microcenter has the Ender 3 v2 on sale for $99, the Ender 3 S1 is on sale for $199. Both seem good options for an entry level printer.
A few friends who are further down the 3D printing rabbit hole than I am recommended adding auto leveling to the V2. That seems to be about a $40 add on.
Seems at that point I am at $140 vs $199.
I assume based on that price difference the upgrades on the S1 are worth the $60. Am I thinking through this correctly?
