Thought I would expand my theory and put it in a post. I believe the town underwent some nuclear testing in the 40s, and like the atom, was split into parts. The residents there went into a quantum state of neither being alive or dead and eventually ended up as the monsters we see now. Their clothes are from the 40s and they seemed to be dressed in uniforms that match the remaining buildings. A waitress from the diner, a gas station attendant, a wealthy man wearing a bow tie who most likely owned colony house. After the event they moved underground to avoid radiation perhaps, that is why they seem to have some personal belongings under there.
Nothing has changed since Victor was a child. Perhaps time moved forward for a period, but nothing has changed in 30+ years. Here is a shot from Victor as a child and here is a shot recently. You can see the bush and grass out front of the post office is exactly the same. The blue metal mailbox should have rusted completely within that time. The buildings look the same as well.
There are quite a few missing buildings such as the motel. There was an aerial photo of the town posted (which I can’t find now) where there were bits of driveways but no houses there. So chances are the town was split in half. But another interesting thing is that there is some long grass where the motel would have been. So it wasn’t always frozen like this, and time did move forward for a short period. I think one of the original people (now turned into monsters) got pregnant after the event, so time moved forward till the child was born (possibly that boy in white). Since time seems to be moving forward again now since the leaves are falling, which hasn’t happened in Victor’s time there (this is a bit of a spoiler that will be revealed next episode), it is because Fatima is pregnant.
I think there was a scientist who was in the town during the event and that is who was performing experiments on Martin with the bloodworms. I don’t think he was looking for a way to kill the monsters (I suspect he is a monster as well) but rather just kept doing experiments like he did when he was alive. Martin should have been dead a long time ago it seems. They create immortality in humans but death in the monsters. It puts humans in a quantum state of being neither alive or dead and monsters out of a quantum state making them dead. It could possibly make them alive as well, but that probably requires that they would be alive in the present day if nothing had happened.
The symbols the monsters have in their tunnels and the one jade keeps seeing I think are road overlays. The monsters at first tried to find a way out because for a time I think they were human while one was pregnant. That idea came from this post. The talismans symbols don’t do anything at all, just represent what happened to them being in two states, but the type of rock they are on is what gives them power. Also the voice they heard on the radio I believe came from people who are trapped in the other half of the town elsewhere and are entangled with this part of the town.

I hope this letter finds you well. Today, I want to address something that has been weighing heavily on my mind and something I feel is important to discuss openly and honestly. I want to talk about my shortcomings as a comedian.
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who have supported me throughout my comedy career. Your laughter, encouragement, and support have meant the world to me, and I am truly grateful for the opportunities I have had to make you laugh.
However, as much as I have appreciated your support, I cannot ignore the reality that I have struggled to find my footing in the world of comedy. Comedy is an art form that requires a unique combination of timing, delivery, and a deep understanding of what makes people laugh. And unfortunately, I have come to realize that I have not been able to consistently deliver on those fronts.
Stand-up comedy is an incredibly challenging craft. It demands countless hours of writing, rehearsing, and performing to truly master the art. It requires vulnerability, the ability to connect with audiences, and the skill to navigate through a wide range of topics and emotions. While I have tried my best to develop these skills, I have come to understand that I simply do not possess the natural talent or knack for comedy that some of my peers do.
I have received constructive feedback and criticism from both fellow comedians and audiences, and I have taken those words to heart. It takes humility to recognize one's limitations, and I believe that acknowledging my shortcomings is the first step towards personal growth and finding my true passions.
I want to emphasize that this is not a decision made out of defeat or self-pity. Rather, it is a realization that my talents and strengths lie in other areas. I have found fulfillment in podcasting, hosting, and analyzing combat sports, where I can use my knowledge, charisma, and unique perspective to engage with audiences in a different way.
I want to assure you all that I have always given my best effort when it comes to comedy. for context: she is my first for everything: virginity, relationship, first child, marriage due to child, 10 years married now [me (22) her(26)] i myself have abandoment issues, addicted to video games because it was my escape from reality, trauma due to my own parents relationship problems and loss of family
i dont know how to start this so i guess...
about a month and a half ago, wife gets a body modification to get rid of her stomach she was so self conscious about, so i take days off to take care of her. during this time frame she had to go out of town for work. 1 week at a time, which has happened three times already. each time i had to get to work 2.5 hrs late for the non consecutive weeks. i had an episode where i raised voice to my wife and said that "all she does is complain. everyday thats all it is with her to complain."
a few days later, she said she went back and forth and decided that she wants a divorce. i need to "work on myself",and that she needed to "work on herslef also." not the first time we talked about this. hell the second time this was talked about i thought i was good with it, if we were to argue again that we go our seperate ways. this was back in october last year. not the case with me. i thought i was good with it, but this time i guess reality sunk in for me. my dam birthday was the next week, fcking great bday present.
damn did it hurt for her to really decide this; what made it really hurt for me was when she told me our son had asked her if she could get another place and to visit daddy. that sht woke me the fck up. dam did that sht hurt. doesnt help that she also says she is stil gonna be here, making it seem like someone didnt die. i fucking died, i felt like she just died and im trying to revive her. doesnt help the next day i begged her to give me another chance. looking back, i shouldve just gave her space.
few days go by, tried to talk to her, nope still wants divorce. my bday comes, thought i was gonna have a nice dinner by myself if my son didnt want to go with me.he is only 8 and a super picky eater. didnt spend my night alone, she decides to get me a present and cake after she takes me out to bday dinner.
i am not the greatest planner of doing things as far as going out. one of her complaints was that i never want to do anything besides being home. so mothers day comes up, i take us as a family to go to a garden after brunch. she said that was the best mothers day compared to past mothersday for her mom. at this point she says she is 50/50, wth does that mean. another two weeks go by, i ask again, this time she decides she wants to seperate now. wtf. so go ahead and make my arrangemnets to sleep in a seprate room. i tell my son its because of my snoring. i dont want him to go through what i went through in my life. her bday comes up, so i decide to do something nice for her, not jist that day, but the weekend too. this whole time, im still trying to win her back. i dont think she even misses me sleeping next to her.
now we come to today. maybe i thinking everything to fast, she needs more time, i dont know. lately ive been saying goodnight and love you's to my son and her. tonight, i go to say my goodnights, get a kiss from her. that doesnt happen, says that im smothering her. now i just dont want to do anything for her anymore. sht feels so one sided.
i dont feel loved anymore by her. im more confused though, we had sex twice, things seemed ok. i thought whatever i decided to change about me were working. not drinking as much, going to gym, paying more attention to them rather than me when i get home. hell ive been cooking dinner, washing dishes, cleaning the house, taking care of the pets ( two cats, two dogs) i never wanted since we got them which includes giving pills to the most loved dog she decided to get, even though she forgets to give him the meds, laundry, and then some. not once have i asked her for anything except for when i initiated sex the second time.
i am fucking lost and im starting to think im better of dissappearing.

Heya! So I really only play like two games; Overwatch (which I don't really have an issue with but I never go on voice), and since I like MMO's, FFXIV. I just started FFXIV, but man my anxiety just freaking ramps up every time I think of clearing a dungeon with real players in my party and not bots. Tonight I gave one a try with real people (and ofc I died to an easy mechanic) and they were like "you're new [character name] aren't you". Which it wasn't mean in the moment but man after reading that I just never wanna do a co-op dungeon again ha.
Either that or I'm just overly anxious about playing with others idk. Anyone else get like this?

My hubby and I were talking about my 5yo (asd suspected) who speaks with quite an Americanised accent due to watching shows/YouTube channels that come from the US. (We are in Australia).
He told me that I often talk with different accents when I am talking to people from different ethnic backgrounds. I said there’s no freaking way I do that.
Now I am paranoid that I talk differently around people and have never noticed and might be unintentionally causing people distress or to think that I am mocking them.
I don’t believe him.

I swear I talk in the same crappy monotone voice 24/7. I told him to film it in future so I can see if he is serious.

It can't just be my app, right? The season 7 finale is tacked onto the end of season 8 after the four part Paradise City and it confused the hell out of me. We went from Manny and the Studz shooting the mewesical back to Degrassi in the next episode where Liberty is organizing prom. After a whole season of watching Liberty, Manny, and Emma off at college. I had to Google it to make sure I wasn't losing my mind.
