We began spending time with each other outside of church as our friendship grew. We’d have playdates at each other houses pretty regularly. After a while, it seemed we were spending most of our time at her home. Her parents started insisting that I go there instead of her staying at my house. I asked her why. She said that since my parents allowed us to watch the cartoon “The Smurfs”, that we were letting the devil in our home. She went in to explain how her parents will not allow watching the normal Saturday cartoons. We were probably around 9-11 when we were closest.
Her allowable cartoon consisted of that claymation show with bible stories called something like “Davey and Goliath”. That’s it. My parents and I attended church most Sundays and even on many Wednesday nights. That said, my family was sinful in their eyes. All because of watching a cartoon.

He is more mature and has experience. First relationship for me. I am a quiet girl but though he is also introverted he is very witty and flirty.
We have common interests but with anyone even my friends I mainly listen to like the people's issues and respond to that. I just simply talk. I suppose it goes as superficial talks? So naturally I'm not great at talking. I tell straight facts most of the time even with friends and sometimes even if I joke it comes off as well trying too hard or not funny. I do love jokes! But I guess I'm not great at making them.
I don't want him to feel dissappinted. I feel like he would be better off with someone who can match his level of humor and flirtyness so that he can feel fulfilled like. I have a 14-18m Male Black Lab & Chow mix. He is extremely reactive and always has been since I adopted him at 6m from a local shelter. He just saw a vet a month ago for an annual and got a clean bill of healh and is eating and going to the bathroom fine.
He is very high energy and daily routine consists of 1hr of 1:1 play with his best friend, and 1.5hrs of walking throughout the rest of the day. He shows absolutely no interest in any type of play other than wrestling and walking.

Half the time the game actively calls a penalty for no reason or does a shit pass for no reason and it makes me mad. Long story short, my wife’s brother has a drug addiction and mental health issue that has been causing various issues for the family for a long time. He has been charged with various crimes including breaking and entering, constant “disturbing the peace”, he assaulted his mother, etc.
This guy really needs help and he does fantastic in jail. He gets all the resources and help he needs, his meds, counseling, this man is 40+ and the only thing we haven’t done for him is wipe his ass. It’s a constant cycle of being thrown in jail for a few months, he gets out and causes chaos until he’s arrested for some petty crime again.
I guess I’m just looking for anything that would help. He has assaulted his mother in the past and she is the only one left who will enable him.

I can’t even tell what’s dysphoria or not anymore but counting down to my therapist it’s starting to become insufferable looking as manish as I do. It hurts to see such a male face in the mirror, have my mother know about the pain of it and still insisting I’m her “son”, feeling the body horror and myself slowly masculinising and running out of options to fix it it’s genuinely heart crushing, that nagging thought of wishing I was a woman constantly berating my mind and I still can’t truly describe where It came from but it’s been a while and it still hasn’t fucking gone away, will it ever go away? I don’t even know. I’m afraid of not being able to properly explain how it feels and having my one chance at sorting these feelings out crushed and having to spend the rest of my life as a man, it’s something I fear deeply absolutely deeply. I don’t even know if this means I’m trans or if I have dysphoria or any of these terms that I obsess over but nothing I do gets my mind of it, it still burns as bright as it did those 2 years ago when I truly started recognizing these thoughts. I’m afraid of being an ugly woman, of my life getting harder this way but I genuinely feel the only what I can find some peace in this lifetime is if i truly confront these feelings but idek. Part of me used to feel that I would prefer to be a woman but now all of me wishes I was one, and I can’t even figure out what is dysphoria or not but it’s starting to hurt badly and I can’t get my mind off it

I have a 2012 CRV, upon start up it makes the common noise most of this year do (VTC actuator defective). Well now I’ve noticed a few times after that initial sound, there’s a slight rumbling like somethings moving for a second or two. It goes away, car runs as normal, and no check engine light. I’m concerned with this newly developed sound, what could it be?
I do know I need a new battery…that’s about it.

There was one stop on an episode im looking for, where the cops had this dude out of his car, it was night time and this dude was saying some pretty manic drug induced shit if I remember correctly, with big eyes and obviously not fit to drive at all, but the cops got a call on the radio, something like shots fired, and they just left him like "drive safe!"

Ive been having constant nightmares every single time i try to sleep lately - I’m in a manic episode but have been trying to make myself sleep and get rest. Its hard to make myself knowing I’m going to have nightmares. I was having nightmares before the manic episode started as well I think the nightmares are from so much stress in my life right now and my psychiatrist tells me to talk to a therapist about it, and i have an appointment in a week with a therapist but in the meantime i don’t know what to do. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to reduce nightmares? Ive been trying melatonin idk if that affects anything. And I’ve tried sleeping with the tv on and off as well, and sleeping with soothing music. I’m desperate at this point
