I love my girlfriend very very much. She is the most wonderful and kind person ever. Dating her is the greatest thing I have ever done with my life, and she is the best part of me.However. From first looks she is a bit of a stereotype of “girl your parents don’t want you to bring home”
She has dyed hair, tons of piercings, and tattoos. Things my parents are all very against. Not to mention she’s a bit of a stereotypical lesbian. While she is not what I imagined dating when I was younger, I have learned I love everything about her and who she is. I would never try and change her.

The biggest issue is my girlfriends truck. She drives a red ford truck that she absolutely adores. Before we started dating, she decorated her truck with a ton of stickers. It’s a bit of a play on trucks with political stickers all over them. Some of these stickers either have “swear words” or overall nsfw phrasing. The worst are just one that says “bitch”, a joke about riding her ass, and one that says “if you can take a dick you can take a joke”. My mother HATES this. She says it goes against her morals to have such things in public because she doesn’t want children to be able to read it.

While I partially agree. They aren’t exactly my favorite thing (a small part of me isn’t a fan of any stickers on cars) and I do agree that children shouldn’t be exposed to a lot of swearing… I find I really don’t care, not to mention I know that once I was old enough to read I certainly knew swear words existed, and was actively hearing them in school… considering social media now I’m sure kids are introduced even younger.

I'm not a huge SW fan so I only got around to watching the new trilogy last weekend. I already knew all the major plot points from watching Redlettermedia.
I really fell in love with Rey/Kylo Ren and especially the character of Kylo Ren.
One thing I haven't really found any discussion for yet is that the new trilogy has a really interesting take on family. It's become a bit of a cliche these days that every movie is about family being the most important because that's what most movie goers will relate to. Most of VII is not great but Rian Johnson really elevated the character of Kylo Ren (and his relationship with Rey). A big part of that is obviously drawing inspiration from Pride and Prejudice, similar to V taking inspiration from Gone with the Wind (which no ever talks about either even though it's pretty blatant…).
But the biggest improvement is that Kylo Ren has what appears to be a "narcissistic parents" background. Leia seems to have been too wrapped up in the resistance and Han probably didn't want to be a parent that much so Ben got sent to Uncle Luke's jedi school. Luke likely slowly put distance between them until finally almost murdering him. It's not really surprising Ben was drawn to Snoke if everyone else had been rejecting him. Then in IX, Leia distracts Kylo Ren so that Rey can stab him. Leia chooses Rey and the resistance over her own son, terrible as he may be.
It's so rare to see movies that show how much having narcissistic parents can create this love/hate relationship inside you. Kylo Ren kills Han but then has Han speak to him as a father. Kylo Ren hesitates to kill Leia, perhaps still hoping that she will be a mother to him one day. He abandons the first order when Rey shows acceptance for him, someone that finally wants him around.
I'm sad that Rey didn't take Kylo Ren's hand at the end of VIII and add the first order to the list of things to burn, or that Kylo Ren didn't list this himself. It would have been something completely new for the franchise to see bad and good unite to completely end both sides of fighting.
Plus the the resistance was basically nothing at that point. For Rey to insist on keep doing the same things when they were failing was dumb. They only won in IX because all the other ships magically appeared when there had been no one else on their side before.
Another thing I really liked about both Kylo Ren and Rey is that they are their own people, shaped by their own experiences and not just clones of their parents. So many movies are lazy like that and it completely diminishes the characters. It's really rare to see a couple like this, especially when their parents are so established already.
Also Palpatine or Snoke should have been Darth Jar Jar. I really hope they confirm that eventually a it's so obvious when you look for it.

With HAIM, original snow on the beach, and the ice spice version of Karma, all people can say is “I can’t hear HAIM” “I can’t hear Lana” “the slowed down tempo of ice spices rap is not good but back in original tempo is good” and they can’t figure out why they LOVE the more Lana version of snow on the beach, the new version of karma is bad but the version where ice spice raps properly is good - they almost get it but then can’t put it together = it’s because Taylor can’t sing. LANA can sing. Ice spice CAN rap. Just every time someone works with Taylor she TRIES to outshine them, but it ends up being worse. And before someone tries to defend Taylor I don’t buy the story about Lana being the reason why she’s not on the whole thing, I believe what she said about not doing a whole verse and just helping production because she didn’t know she was the only feature, but do you really believe Lana went BACK into the studio? I'm guessing a lot of people know this already but for those who don't.. Doug Seacat , referred to by Privateer Press on at least one facebook thread (year 2016) as the "sage of the Iron Kingdoms" and if memory serves me correctly the lead writer for the Iron Kingdoms setting was known to contribute campaign lore often and frequently on the old Iron Kingdoms forum... basically "world building" stuff on the richly detailed history and background of the Iron Kingdoms.
I was going to refer someone in a public post I made to said forum only to discover it's going down as of May 31st 2023.. I will miss it dearly, there were a lot of dedicated IK fans who wrote their own very interesting posts full of insights and ideas in response to anyone who had a question about the IK setting .. they helped me many a time for which I'm very grateful :) .. I was blown away by how Mr. Seacat himself answered my questions on more than one occasion.. I found myself thinking " Man this guy must be busy doing a zillion IK related things and he's STILL taking the time to answer my questions! " .. just super super impressed one of the writers for the IK would do that, it blew my mind :)

Hey guys, Diablo 4 is kinda my first diablo game. I heard you have to play every season a new Class? I'm not a big fan of starting over again, how is the endgame does it get boring if you only play like 1 Class and Max her out.

Some people believe the fast pace and movement of the last few CoD games killed off CoD’s active playerbase, that “sweaty players and skillgaps” are the cause. It seems like even Infinity Ward thought this, hence the way MWII is designed. After doing a lot of research and connecting the dots, I don’t think this is correct.
Let’s start with the reported loss of players towards the end of the original Warzone. CoD experienced a 50 million player loss - the majority of these left over the release of Vanguard/Caldera. It has nothing to do with the movement or skillgap. If the skillgap was really a concern, player counts would have fallen off a cliff after a few months of MW19/Verdansk, but they didn’t.
The majority of people didn’t like Vanguard upon launch and they certainly didn’t like the Caldera map. The switch from a city based map to a rural based map turned off a huge chunk of Warzone players.
Let’s focus on the current PC player counts - Steam numbers are live source of the PC playerbase. It’s normal for the playerbase of a game to drop after launch, but what’s supposed to happen is a large peak with each season that slowly falls off. What we can see is that MWII is on a steady downhill, regardless of season updates. Steam is a great source of active playerbase numbers, but it isn’t the only source we’ve had.
In Spain, Activision allowed the OXO Museo museum to stream the live player count numbers of Warzone 2, MWII and DMZ for one day. This was leaked on Twitter. For whatever reason, this didn’t actually get as much attention as it should have. The information revealed just how many players play the current games on a daily basis. From there we learned that Warzone 2 (including DMZ) had a player count of 424,00. This is for all platforms combined. This was in late January. Steam numbers for last month show 102,946 as a daily player count. Using this information, we can calculate the ratio of daily console to PC players is 4:1.
Apex Legends (only PC) routinely averages around 200k+ players on PC. Even if the ratio of console to PC players is different with this game, give CoD the benefit of the doubt since it’s more console focused, let’s say console to PC ratio is lower at 2:1. This still theoretically results in that game having 50% higher player counts (all platforms) than Warzone 2 and DMZ combined. This is a far cry from the Verdansk days where Warzone was played much more than Apex. This is reflected in Twitch viewership. People like to claim Twitch viewership isn’t a good assessment of popularity, but regardless of how casual or hardcore a game is - if the game is played a lot, it will both be streamed a lot and have a lot of people watching said streams. Fortnite is a very casual game as an example, with a large audience of people watching. Apex has significantly more people streaming and watching it than Warzone 2.
Going even further with this, let’s compare Multiplayer. The OXO Museo showed 184,000 as the daily player count. Compare this to the golden era of CoD, like Black Ops 2 and MW2. These games showed the global player count in the Multiplayer menu, something they don’t do anymore as they’re likely embarrassed of the drop. Back then, player counts averaged half a million and sometimes peaked to 2 million, even several months into the life cycles. Average daily player count is a direct measure of player retention. MWII has significantly worse player retention than its classic ancestors. Now obviously, times change and some people move on. But the difference between modern Multiplayer retention and classic Multiplayer retention is too large to ignore and the gameplay design is a direct cause of this.
What people don’t seem to understand is the concept of rewarding gameplay. When you dumb a game down and reduce its skillgap, so that the most ultra casuals can enjoy it - it doesn’t result in more money long-term. Yes, maybe initial sales will be higher but not micro-transactions. Why? For people to buy cosmetics, they need to at least be somewhat dedicated to the game. They don’t have to be “hardcore”, but let’s say these people are semi-casual - let’s label these semi-casuals as “midcore”. They’re not casual but they’re also not hardcore. It’s not casuals buying Blueprints en masse, it’s midcore and hardcore players - they’re the “whales” wasting money on cosmetics.
A game that has a very small skillgap isn’t rewarding. It may be gratifying to the masses of casuals that play it a handful of times per month, but not rewarding to the dedicated or midcore. If the game doesn’t have a sense of reward within its core gameplay (not just in Ranked), people find little use in “grinding” it and therefore spend less money on micro-transactions. This is why while MWII sold extremely well (casuals mopped it up), but micro-transaction revenue is lower than in Cold War - this Treyarch game at the time was praised by investors due to the amount of Bundles, Blueprints and Operators it sold. Cold War plays like a transitional CoD game with a moderately sized skillgap, see the correlation here? Half the coin in modern games is in micro-transactions. It’s all well and good selling the most initial copies, but if player numbers drop below the past high standards of retention and micro-transaction revenue drops - it isn’t the best long-term strategy.
CoD Campaigns are often not talked about regarding casuals, but they should be. People seem to think that casuals flocking to MWII is because the Multiplayer skillgap shrank. Nope. People love realistic/immersive story experiences. It’s why Sony is able to rake in so much exclusive cash, as the market for a well polished, immersive story experience is always hungry. The vast majority of casual CoD players play the Campaign, no/very little Multiplayer and never touch the game again. This is no different with MWII and it’s for this reason that tailoring Multiplayer gameplay specifically to target casuals was a terrible idea.
CoD Multiplayer may not thrive off the small hardcore, but the midcore is the majority of its active player base. If the hardcore is roughly 1% of CoD customers, the midcore is roughly 10%. Each game sells around 25 million copies each year. Only around 1% of those numbers are playing Multiplayer each day. The majority of casuals buy CoD for its Campaign, leaving a smaller percentage of casuals and the midcore making up the Multiplayer numbers.
This is why the developers should have listened to the midcore and hardcore players for Multiplayer feedback, not casuals. Listen to the casuals for Campaign and co-op feedback. Casual players are not your typical “gamers”. They’re more money conscious as the hobby is not a large part of their life. They’re more likely to play games for “their moneys worth”, which is usually in the Campaign mode. Making CoD Multiplayer accessible is important to convert the percentage of casuals that are curious about Multiplayer into midcore players, but dedicating design philosophy solely around casual players was the worst decision they’ve ever made.
The numbers don’t lie. The opinions of the midcore and hardcore align with them. Player retention is at an all time low and it’s because the developers and Activision as a whole, are focusing on the wrong players with their design philosophy.

Did anyone here attend? What was your opinion? This was the first year I have gone. Stapleton never disappoints so I enjoyed his performance despite having seen him a couple of times already. Warren Zeiders was good and I’m not particularly a Little Big Town fan but they were okay. It was my first time seeing George Strait and I think I’m the only person who wasn’t completely blown away. While I love his music and respect him as an artist, I felt like he wasn’t as good live as everyone had told me he would be. He is 71, though, and voices age just like everything else .

I know there’s a good chance the big match will be the Usos vs Roman/Solo at MITB, but I think having the brothers face off for the first time ever will add another element to a generational storyline.
Think about it. Even though Jimmy completely turns on Roman, Jey is still hesitant which was apparent when he was calling out to an unconscious Roman. I think Roman would be the type of person to use this situation to his benefit.
Roman would manipulate Jey into turning his back on Jimmy. Initially, Jey would be hesitant but will agree to do Romans bidding once again (for the last time). On SmackDown, Jimmy would challenge Roman not only for the belts but for Head of the Table. Roman agrees only on one condition: he would need to beat his brother the same night at MITB. Then, he would get his shot in the main event. Jimmy disagrees but eventually realizes the ends justify the means.
In the opening match of MITB, Jimmy tries his hardest to not fight Jey and convince him to take the fall. Jey rejects him and in turn we get a classic brother vs brother match (I’m a huge fan of Owen vs Bret). At the end, Jimmy gets through to Jey before the latter walks out of the ring to a 10 count. Jimmy wins and will face Roman in the main event.
Roman and Jimmy face off in a physical match up with Jimmy surprisingly getting the upper hand in some points. There’s some shenanigans from Paul and Solo which leads to Jey returning to the ring and helping his brother out. The Usos have officially turned against the bloodline. But of course, Roman ends up getting the win in some way. But the Usos gain the respect of all the fans in attendance.
This all leads to a showdown at SummerSlam: The Usos vs Roman/Solo. Because of his huge ego, Roman can defend his title also in the main event, believing the Usos are just food and nothing else. Idk who would win the tag match. You could go either way.
I think this booking would allow the Usos to get even more over than they are now, Roman will finally defend his title since WrestleMania, and the Bloodline storyline will keep getting better and better since some fans believe it’s gotten stale.

I can no longer take Heather’s long rants that turn into childhood memories or how she’s not hood enough to be around T-Rell and his friends. Last Friday’s episode was unbearable. She’s made multiple comments on “black bitches”. She couldn’t wait to explain how she’s biracial and how she has a white mama. All the fans know this and she has said this multiple times without any fans asking. She tried to confuse Flakko into saying he doesn’t date black women and only fucks them. She called SB Blackitty Black and he has nappy hair. She was basically forcing T-Rell to choose her over his mother and when he wouldn’t, she guilt tripped him. Hi all, asking for help with anything I might have missed. Car is a 2006 Acura MDX, 220,00 miles that I've owned for a few years, tried to be good with maintenance/upkeep. About a year ago it started misfiring intermittently on startup, mostly on cylinder 5, sometimes setting P0300 on other cylinders. Every once in awhile it would go flashing CEL and illuminate the VTM4 light. Seems more common at lower fuel levels and when using lower octane fuel Misfire condition only persists after a start until you get the RPMs above 2000. Once you do that, it runs great at any stress/load. I've driven it freeway for multiple hours like that, no hesitation or loss of power. So far I've replaced timing belt/water pump (it was getting due anyway), injectors, coils, plugs, EGR valve, MAF sensor, Air filter (was due anyway), adjusted valves, ran Seafoam, fuel pump assembly. I've tested compression (cylinder 1 and 2 slightly out of spec % with the others), bleeddown on the front bank (well within tolerance and close to each other), fuel pressure (before changing pump -good pressure at prime and run, changed due to possibility of leaking back into tank). Wife got tired of watching me cuss at it, we took it to a reputable shop. They said valves were too tight and adjusted, a week later it came back. Shop told me it's a lean misfire as tge temp hits 104, and it's leaning out as it warms up. Their only suggestion is cleaning the valves might clear some carbon that's causing sticking valves, but they don't know if that will work. At this point, my intention is to pull the heads and have them machined, replace valves and gaskets. I know the J35A5 has the concern with worn camshafts, not sure how I could go about testing that though. Any help/advice/things I missed appreciated
