I've been boarding siblings for 5 days. At the meet great, they were fine. At my house, they are very destructive. They destroyed a slipper, peed and pooped inside despite taking them out constantly, have dug holes and have destroyed my backyard. I dont leave my house because im worried how destructive they'll be. The older sibling does not listen at all and won't come inside. They whine at night. I walk them for an hour twice a day and during one of our walks the dog pulled so hard on her retractable leash and it snapped and the dog ran away for a little bit and I had to sprint to catch her.
I'm not sure how to address it with the owner without risking a bad review or not getting a tip or something.

One of the things this community is lacking is a solid choice of tried and tested items. So when you buy something, don't keep it to yourself: post a review.

Comparing Health Interventions in Colombia and Nigeria: Which are More Effective and by How Much?

TL;DR: Nigeria bears 10 times the burden of communicable, maternal, neonatal, and nutritional diseases per capita than Colombia, despite both countries having similar health expenditures to combat these diseases. Applying the SNT framework suggests that health interventions are around 10 times more cost-effective in Nigeria even when comparing only the poorest regions within each country.
Chatting with the members of my EA university group in Colombia, I noticed many of them were mainly interested in contributing to problems that affected their home country. Although Colombia is far from being one of the poorest countries in the world, various regions of the country still suffer from similar problems as less developed countries. I thought there might be a chance that we found opportunities with similar cost-effectiveness as those that EA tends to prioritize in the area of health and development.

I am currently undergoing medical clearance. I am diagnosed with ADD. I've been prescribed Vyvanse 20mg for about five years. Over that period the consistency which I've take it has varied. I have mild symptoms (inattentiveness), hence the low script strength. I have developed good coping strategies (diet, sleep, exercise) over the last couple years which is why I don't take it all the time.
In my personal statement I think some of the info I put down may have been inaccurate. I wrote that I haven't taken it in the last few months, but I have been taking it, just not everyday. In the longer term I actually have been taking it relatively consistently; my prescription record (which has not been requested) shows a refill about every other month for about 2.5 years. I'm worried that wasn't reflected clearly enough in my statement because I know they look for a year or more of dosage stability with meds.
My nurse says the behavioral health advisor will have to review the documentation and decide. That sounds to me like I'm going to get denied and this last form they need from my doctor is just a formality.
Tbh idk if I am stressing over nothing but I've read too many horror stories on here. I have no other mental health conditions, no therapy, nothing. Is it too late to message my nurse and try to correct my mistake? Should I include my script history even tho they never asked for it? Or should I wait to appeal (if I get denied)?

-Im on about apoc 50.
-DDD lvl 4 (soon to be 5)
-~300m apoc damage per apoc
-grans shop fully upgraded everything (except 1500 gem dragon skin)
-gramps shop upgraded all scrolls except 3 plus a few nether creature upgrades
-all gem upgrades for floors (none for skins yet)
All that being said i just cant get past around level 815ish. I throw 2 dragon, 2 mummy, 2 troll and a nether demon at it and they only get like 5 levels after 800. And at that point im pretty much out of crowns.
Ive been stuck here for a long while and am unable to get lvl 850 to use nether mountain.
I have 2k gems. Wondering if i should use it to get dragon skin in grans. Or maybe try to redo an event (ive only maxed 1)?
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!

- Did you notice off-gassing smells that lasted for over a month? Seen some reviews claiming that their sofa smelled bad/ started smelling bad after use. My gf is very sensitive to smells.
- How does the sofa hold up? Do the back support and seating cushions lose shape and start sagging/ sinking?

If Zagreus is here, I just want to know if being an existence equal to Caine means one also gets the mark and his ability to kill higher beings or induce the concept of murder into reality such as when he killed Abel (turning the angelic war into more than just a series of harmless debates), and whether or not being equal to Lilith makes us similar to an Archmage or mage who is so powerful as to be beyond stats. Because if so, then by virtue of being both, could you bypass paradox altogether thanks to being a vampire? Assuming you can't just, you know, overpower paradox or consensus outright that is. And if that is the case, does anyone have any examples of what capabilities this would entail exactly? I have an idea of what vampires can do ala Gehenna and the Antediluvians, but less so for what a 5-dot plus mage with what I can only assume would be maxed out Arete could do.
If Zagreus is not, however, than anyone knowledgeable on Mage will do.

I’ve been reading random books with the Libby app and just finished one that was unexpectedly extremely gender affirming- but for all the wrong reasons.
I had heard it was a beloved book for all ages so decided to blindly give it a shot knowing it was aimed at a younger audience. Well, it ended up being about pre-teen girls and a “coming of age story”. Full of the most dysphoric topics you could imagine, I couldn’t believe that the story was a common narrative and experience for girls growing up. At multiple points I thought to myself “wait- that can’t possibly be true… why would they WANT that to happen?” and figured it had to be pure fiction. Nope- basically every review was “such a relatable story, my childhood in words, timeless classic, etc” and I was flabbergasted. Ironically, I found one written by a dude named “Brian” and his comments were almost the same as mine. That being transported into the mind of a 10 y/o girl was a totally foreign and unfathomable experience.
If that was the typical “girl” experience of growing up, holy hell did it reaffirm that I never was one. Literally the whole story was my worst nightmare and I vividly remember doing the exact opposite of essentially everything discussed. I finished the book because it was interesting to see life from such a different perspective. One where growing up and puberty is exciting and joyful vs the hell on earth I experienced. Explained so much about what I observed in female friends/peers way back when and even more about why I was the odd one out. Lots of “ohh… that’s why…” moments.
If there was a boy version, I can almost guarantee that I’d 100% fully identify with everything. Even just the changes from T at the awkward and isolating age of 25 was exciting and joyful. I can’t imagine how much better it would have been to be hit with puberty at the right time in life and with peers.
And that’s how a book about tween girls unexpectedly impacted me as a grown ass man.

After a bad encounter with a local business, I left behind a One star rating google review as I was disappointed that I was charged for hundreds of dollars then got told they weren't suitable for us. Now the owner contacted me and threatened me with legal actions for denigrating them online. What can I do?
I've explained to the business owner in my emails over and over again what actually happened and why I was so disappointed with their decision to discard the engagement and cancel out my future appointments because my case was suddenly too hard to deal with. Before the first appointment I was sold the story of how competent they were in handling complex cases but after paying for 2 sessions they turned around and said "nah this is beyond our scope, please see someone else. "
No talk of any potential refunds even when they literally performed no service to me but purely an assessment.
The owner has been sending me emails saying how they have followed all their codes of ethics etc and therefore my comment is an unwarranted attack on their business.
I checked the defamation law and it seems to say that if the comment is based on facts and it's an honest opinion, they can't sue customers. Also there's a threshold to meet? Its only for businesses with less than 10 employees. The practice has more than 10 consultants, but I am not sure if they are employed by the business unfortunately.
Should I take the comment down to avoid being sued for defamation? This business seems to only accept 3 to 5 star reviews.

Hi All,
We’ve had a perfectly working iCloud family setup for years. When our son wanted to buy something on AppStore, he requested it and my wife and I were getting his request.
For a few weeks now, without any change I can remember of, his requests never reach neither me nor my wife. I’ve looked in Apple forums, reviewed the config, can’t find a place where anything would be mis configured.
I’m always a bit afraid to sign off from iCloud, but I would assume it’s the next thing to try, on my sons phone first?
Any other recommendations?

I wrote this about two months ago in my journal and it changed my life.
"I'm hoping this is it. This is the time where I transition into the person I need to be. A person that becomes ignorant to the nihilistic world around him. The deep comfort of being a nyctophiliac dissipates and the world finally opens up for what it truly is. A world not perceived through discouraging pessimism and hardship, but instead one that is filled with opportunity that leads to having a genuine sense of contentment. All of the chaotic emotions and thoughts stop governing how I understand the world. I break free and let go, starting the long-awaited process of becoming Max 2.0. I finally become conscientious of my actual priorities and attack the world for what it is, not run away from what it's not. To obtain the ultimate goal of happiness the new perspective has to be implemented and the old has to be disregarded. Attacking the opportunity leads to accomplishments, accomplishments allow you to have something to stand on, which grants one with a true feeling of contentment and fulfillment. One that is content with their life is one that is happy. In truth, no one can save me from the inevitable misery to come without change but myself. The world is fundamentally dark and bleak but that can change if you're able to look at it differently."
This sort of perspective switch saved me. If you're in a position where everything in your life seems to be collapsing, just trust the bizarre process of life, and in time your perspective on the matter will change.
