Brand new to 3D Printing. I received my Ender 3 S1 Pro last Wednesday. I, with very little adjustments, was able to easily print the stock cat and then a little tree. This was using the included filament.
When said filament ran out, I switched to my larger roll of Creality CR Series 3D Printing Filament (CR-PLA). I had one good print come out of it but then it went haywire. I [mistakenly] re-leveled the whole thing but the problem only got worse. So I've quite literally spend the last 6 days (at least 3 hours a day) leveling over and over. I've watched virtually every single video on YouTube at this point. Despite this, I cannot even get a single first layer down of anything.
For reference, I've tried both Cura and the Creality software to slice. All standard settings.
Here is a video of a few moments after the 3D Printer Helper file started. You will then see me go through the whole leveling process at about the 1:10 mark. I'm sorry for the camera shaking - difficult to do both at the same time. I realize it's super long and boring but I wanted to put the whole process so I can get called out if I'm doing something wrong. It's been almost a week since I entered the Zone.
With nothing to my name but a pistol and a second hand suit, I needed to find a way to get better gear if I wanted to reach The Heart of the Zone, and find out if the Wish Granter was real, or just another story that drunkard at the bar made up to have someone buy him a drink.
After a couple of days of travelling between Cordon and Garbage, I decided I had head north to Rostok and find a way through the Red Forest in order to get to Pripyat before spring.
On my way there I found a corpse on the ground: a Mercenary, he had a nice modified MP5 on him, and some coordinates to a stash in Truck Cemetery.
Had it be from someone else I would have probably ignored it, but it being from a Merc, it tempted me like a siren on the sharp rocks

Made a friend in the form of the local technician: Mangun, though I guess Sponge would be a better name for him, due all the empty bottles of vodka I saw lying around his shop.
But, everyone got their coping mechanism in the zone, alcool is one of the least dangerous ones I suppose, better than hunting mutants or going for a jog in the swamps anyway.
A couple of days passed, and I amassed about 30k Rubles and repaired a double barrel shotgun, and baptized it with a short hunt.
I then decided to stock up in vodka and buy a Basic Toolkit from Spirit, yet another drunk, this time loitering in the Yantar region, right next to the scientists. Honestly I'm just surprised he didn't manage to get his hands on their medical alcohol, but I digress.
Mangun was ecstatic when I handed it to him, to give credit where credit is due, that man managed to keep a platoon worth of weapons and gear functional with very minimal equipment, and in a complete stupor for most of the time.
Something was still gnawing at the back of my head every day since I found it.

Being part of the latter, I decided not to dwell on that thought further, and just move on.
After dispatching part of the local fauna we slowly crept south-east, stopping only to check the map and to listen for the direction of distant gunfire.
I heard a lot of horror stories from other Loners regarding the Cemetery, from bloodsucking monstrosities to mind altering midgets, to hooded people that would just make you blow your own brain without moving a muscle, but nothing would prepare me for what we were about to meet.
We approached the last turn of our journey with great caution as the floor was littered with dozens of blind-dogs and boars.
I thought that maybe a group of Duty soldier culled the area, but the closer we got to them, the more we noticed that there were no bullet wounds, but rather they seemed as if they have been crushed under an immense weigh.
As if on cue, with a thunderous step, a giant stepped out of a burrow, I thought of it a boulder of some sort at first, but as it uncovered from the debris it mantled itself with, I started to notice the features of a disgusted and disgruntled face, framed in between two legs the size of ancient oak trunks.
I panicked and bolted for the roof of one of the trucks behind me, my companions were not as lucky: the first one died on the spot, having his entire body been folded into a pool of gore and bones.
I reached for the other one to come closer and grab my hand, but he was too terrified to hear reason and just kept shooting at the abomination.
I... prefer not to speak of what happened to him.
I kept pelleting the beast from my position, jumping from a truck to the other when it would get to close to tipping the one I was standing on.
In the end however it was not me who killed it, but The Zone itself.
In its blind rage it charged through an anomaly and got trapped in it, not even its might could save it from what The Zone had in stock.
After getting down from the truck I searched for what remained of my former comrades: an AK-105 from the first and a gas mask from the second.
I leaned over a car, only to see a small tool box inside of it.
All the pain, all the horror, it would have been worth it, if only for this treasure.
I opened it, and found only a few cans of food and a moldy suit, way too ruined to be worn by anyone.
It was all for nothing.
2 brave Stalker have been lost to the zone, and I got nothing to show for it.
I retreated back to Rostok, and sat down on the mattress set up for me across the hall from Mangun's shop.
"I don't even remember their names" I muttered

The Zone changed me for the worst.
I want out of here, but there is no place for me outside now.

Hi, this is probably a self explanatory post to some people where they may just suggest ignoring it or straight up telling her to stop calling, but I need serious help. I've been somewhat friends with a girl since January only because of a school club that requires us to be cordial and have each others phone numbers. (I say somewhat because from the get-go I don't like her, but I'm too nice). This girl doesn't particularly have friends and here's the reason why... she's VERY needy. Now i've always been an independent person, enjoy my free time, being alone is maybe my favorite part of the day, but now it's not possible because of this girl. I must add, she has serious issues and even sees professional help because of it, and I understand she might need a friend, so she started to confide in me. Over time, she would call me about 4 times a week (already excessive in my opinion) just spilling her life out over the phone, or having a break down, or just trauma dumping on me. I was fine with this at first, until the calls started to become more frequent... She calls me 5-10 times a day now. I have been seriously considering just breaking it to her that she needs to stop calling, but given the circumstances, I am her only "friend" and person she can confide in. She calls me at all hours of the day ranging from the middle of the night, to early mornings, to even when she knows for a fact i'm at work. I've tried the ignoring method and that just increases the amount of times she calls. I feel bad for her, but I seriously have lost it. Mind you, these conversations are only all about her, like even when i say something or tell her about MY day, she clearly zones out and then mentions something about herself again. I can acknowledge that I am being a little heartless but can you imagine your phone log being 95% this friend that you dread speaking to?? This isn't to mention how she is very selfish and has done things to me that one can label as PSYCHOTIC. but anyways, I need help telling this girl to please just either tone it down or telling her calling me is off limits now. No she doesn't work, or have hobbies, and actually doesn't even show up to her classes cause she's using that time to call me 24/7. Help

It seems dead, zone chat is dead. I see maybe 1 or 2 others evey so often. It's been at least an hour since I've seen anyone else. Hell no guilds are even trying to invite anyone, zone and zone chat are dead. I thought being on a full sever it would be packed not empty.

I am currently in EDT. I returned to the US from India a few days ago. Today, I noticed the date in the notification bar of my phone was wrong, so I changed to my current time zone. Since then, Duolingo went haywire. I did lessons this morning and got the Early Bird Chest. So I went to redeem it and do my nightly lessons. The chest was there, but it said I have only a few hours to save my streak. So I viewed my calendar and saw this. Today is still June 8th here in the US, and a streak freeze has been used for June 9th. Even in India, it's still the morning of June 9th. No matter how many lessons I do, my streak isn't getting continued at all. What happened, how do I fix it?

I played a game with Kindred against Zyra Jungle, Galio mid, Jinx adc and Janna support. While playing against whatever this is, I made a realization. I could not do anything against them.
Being able to be in range for my auto's or my q was near impossible due to Galio W and E + Zyra plant + q + e and R, Jinx q + w + e and finaly Janna ult + q. They could easily poke and zone the shit out of me.
I built the classic Trinity build in that game.
What should I have done ? Not pick Kindred, use an other build , etc ?

I dream of one day having a good close friend that I play video games with everyday. I've slowly lost all my gaming friends through the years and I seriously miss it. I don't really know how to go about finding a friend to play with. I've tried playing with random people in Last Epoch, for example, but it's just not working out. I don't want to play some random game that is boring alone, like, say, New World, just to look for a friend. It sounds a bit much.
So I'm looking for people here, though it doesn't seem to be working that well either. People keep ghosting me with no explanation why. But who knows, maybe one day the perfect person will come along and read this. And it only takes one person, right?
Gaming alone is not nearly as fun. I don't really care what game we play, as long as we're having fun. That said, here's some games I like:
I just got Age of Wonders 4 and have been playing it a lot in my free time. I have never played an AoW game before. I also just got Darkest Dungeon 2. I've also got back into Pathfinder: Wrath of the Rigtheous. But those latter two are single-player games, and AoW4 doesn't seem like a game I'd want to play multiplayer anyway.
Just before that, I had gotten back into Last Epoch, with the 0.9 patch that released not long ago, and now multiplayer is a thing! I mostly played my offline necromancer by myself, but let's make new toons together and play together! (Or we can use our old toons if you already have one.)
I also like Old World some, but have never played it with another person. Maybe we could, if you want?
Aside from that, I used to play Hearthstone a lot. But not anymore. I would love to find a new TCG/CCG type game to play. Not Marvel SNAP or Legends of Runeterra.
Would also like to find someone to play Slay the Spire with too where we watch each other. I'm not sure about the co-op mod as I hear it sucks, but maybe. I've played it a lot and have beat Ascension 20 and then some with the Silent, been getting into the Defect some but don't play the other 2 classes at all. Would love to have someone to play this game with or show them the ropes.
And I play some other obscure titles like Thea 2. Would be nice to find somebody to play that with.
I would really love to find someone to introduce a new game to me in a genre I like. TCG, MMO, ARPG mainly. Really, I'm just looking for a friend to play with that is fun and we get along. That's all that really matters. Sucks playing alone every night.
MMORPG's I have played and enjoyed include Elder Scrolls Online, ArcheAge, Bless Unleashed, New World, and Wakfu. I would love to get back into one of those with someone! I'm NOT interested in playing FFXIV, WoW, GW2, or Lost Ark! Don't ask! If you know of any other good MMO's, though, let me know and maybe we can play it together. Though I could definitely have fun playing one of those MMO's I've played before if I was playing with the right person.
ARPG's I have played and liked in the past include Path of Exile, Last Epoch, Diablo 3, Undecember, and Grim Dawn. I think I might be permanently done with playing PoE alone, but would like to try playing it with someone else, especially someone knew who I could teach everything to. Diablo 4 looks lame.

You don't know how to outplay the opponent that doesn't even play cards. It's funny. I want to give it a try but I just know I wouldn't pull those cards when I need them. I'd get sunspot on 6 or something. Also he was playing high evo cause we each got one card discarded and he had his high evo discarded.

I was vendor hopping and someone had a nuka-cola candy machine right next to the vendor. Didn’t realize until it was too late that it was locked and I auto picked it, making myself wanted. Well, that just won’t do, I can’t go shopping if I can’t see the vendors lol, so easy solution is find someone to kill me and get rid of the wanted status.
I took off all armor, ran around naked, no weapon, using my mic, the help emote, waving emote, the works. I spent almost an hour trying to convince someone it was safe to kill me. Finally in the Whitesprings mall someone pulled out their chainsaw. I gave them a thumbs up and they still hesitated, so I made sure I didn’t move, kept using the thumbs up emote and FINALLY got killed. I respawned and sent him a heart emoji.

On 2/28, my wife was t-boned by an uninsured and unlicensed driver in Tennessee. My wife made an illegal u-turn on a residential street and the driver approaching from the rear was on their cell phone and struck her on the driver’s side. The incident is all on video (this is the only reason we know the other driver was on their cell phone). Thankfully, Tesla’s record on all four sides of the vehicle.
Unrelated to the accident, our policy with the auto insurer expired on 3/1 and transitioned to a different insurer on that same day. The accident was relatively low speed and everyone present was walking after the accident. The other driver had 2 infants in the backseat not in car seats or wearing seat belts. They were taken from the accident scene before the police showed up several hours later. The two adults in the front seat suddenly developed limps around the time the police did show up. My wife was unharmed, thankfully.
The responsible insurer on our side informed us that the other party has filed for bodily injury. Since this time, which was about March 8th, we have not been able to get any information from our original insurer. There is no real understanding on our part of fault or if we should be concerned about our liability coverage being sufficient (100/300/300).
We are now 3.5 months after the accident and I’m attempting to make some policy revisions with our current insurer but they refuse since there is a claim in CLUE showing open. The original insurer refuses to give me any kind of update and my access to their claim portal has been removed.
What should we be doing? Do I need to hire my own attorney? I’m happy to share the accident footage but didn’t want to share it directly on this post. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I’m racking my brain trying to salvage the last couple days of my trip because I have half a mind to just fly back home early.
They are great people, but holy sh*t I’ve wanted to go home since day 3. We’re only here six days.
It was all great until we got here. One is a control freak, and has essentially taken over the whole trip. Every activity I’ve suggested has been dismissed unless “there’s time for it,” and every hour of the trip has to have an activity, and if I back out of something then I’m made to feel like I’m ruining the trip by not making the most of the it their way. The other one just hates making decisions and goes along with everything so they don’t feel like their missing out. Not to mention I’m homesick, missing my spouse and kids terribly. I’ve never had such a bad travel experience. This country wasn’t even on my personal travel list, it just turned out this way because I wanted to bond with friends and get out of my comfort zone. Deeefinitely miles out of my comfort zone.
I don’t want to argue so I’m keeping my mouth shut because I don’t want to ruin our friendship after this, but I’m an introverted culture freak (cafes, food, museums and people watching) and I found out VERY quickly that my mates are very much the outdoorsy thrill seekers (12+ hours days hiking and road tripping). They are immediately bored by my need to just browse and not rush. They need to gogogogogo at all times and I prefer to slow down. I’m exhausted and I hate having to insist that we don’t need to do EVERY. SINGLE. THING. together. They’ve been pretty cool about me needing to stay behind but a lot of comments have been cropping up about “how boring some people are for not wanting to try new things” and “oh you would’ve hated it/been too scared to do it.” I’ve done quite a few new things, I’m literally in an entirely new country, what’s the deal?
Not to mention the age gap is really showing its ass and I’m staring to feel like I’m the boring old parent of the friend group, and we can’t relate to each other anymore. (10 year age difference, we all met at work.)
I just needed to write my thoughts old before I vent to the wrong person and potentially ruin my friendships. I need to know how to avoid this sort of thing next time.

Every day that has gone by this week my girlfriend has said, “You’ve spent the last year telling me that next summer (rn) is when the stock could see gains why are you acting like you didn’t know this was going to happen” and I am reminded of my thesis, our thesis. Short term price action, volatility, this little rise. It’s all in anticipation for what’s to come. Multi-year, multi-model RFQ wins with billions of dollars on the line over the next 5 years. This is ground zero, this is nothing. This is apple before the iPhone. This is Amazon the bookstore. Yeah a little 52 week high makes us all a little giddy but it’s mere cents compared to being the investor who was in the company that made automated braking a reality, who would go on to make automated driving a reality. Every LiDAR company has said this summer is the time. This little run up has been a glorious move for MM to shake weak easy shares from investors who have been down for years. We are on the precipice of EPIC and people are worried about a few percent down in premarket on a single random Thursday morning. If you’re worried over a few cents at this point, mere days, weeks, months before the meteoric deals are announced then you are exactly who is being targeted right now. Fear is being used against you, fear of going back to 2 years of being down. Have faith in yourself. Have faith in Sumit and the team. Be patient and reap the rewards.

I have a very anxious border collie, he's such a good boy but when he gets in that state of seeing someone outsude it's impossible to get him out of it. I don't even yell at him I just try and redirect him with toys and love and whatever I can think of, and he just groups me in with the potential threat outside. We tried to put him in the bedroom and I got stuck in there with him. My usually sweet boy bit me so hard I didn't stop bleeding for a couple of hours. It's not the first time. I love him so much, and this family would be empty without him, but hes hurting me and I shudder to think what might happen with a stranger. He's been prescribed medication, but the pharmacy quoted $700/month for his anxiety meds. Nobody can afford that. I just don't know what to do anymore. He loves so hard when he's in his right mind but when he gets triggered there's nothing that can help him. My girlfriend doesn't understand that he's very reactive and is villianizring him. He's a good boy 90% of the time but when he gets in that zone there's nothing you can do. This is mostly a vent but advice is appreciated.
