For me for me, it was when I faced an ace. Fritz and Franz ambushed me on my way back from a nava bombing mission. I wasn’t too badly beaten first. Just a few shots to the body and wing base. However, 3 planes came west and others came up south on my tail, and it was a living HELL.
One of my two side gunners died, but I recovered him after almost flatlining. Bullet wounds everywhere. One flak shell hit my wheel and it barely held on just enough so I was able to land. I had lost a wing tip along with my outer port engine ( outer engine on left hand side) and the one next to wasn’t working. Both engines on my starboard side were ok, but one was damaged, but was still running. There was an internal fire, killing 2 more crew members, but I recovered them. One tail aileron was blasted off from fritz and Franz, along with my gunners had of the time didn’t work because of a hydraulic mess up. It was brutal, and I don’t really know how my crew lived through that. Most of the time it was just BF 110’s shredding my underbelly.

Today I was cooking, when a shiny green beetle flew into the kitchen and landed on my phone. I thought it would fly away if I touched my phone, so I decided to make breakfast without the recipe. The beetle stayed there for over 30 minutes. I opened the window to get rid of smoke because I burnt garlic accidentally, and the beetle tried to fly away, so I opened the window screen and it left.

I (21m) am headed off on internship and am moving several states away from all of my family and friends for the first time and I am practically about to start hyperventilating. I’m not moving away because I need a fresh start or anything, I just landed the opportunity of a lifetime for the cost of plane tickets and it would be wildly stupid to pass it up.
The thing is, I’m terrified. I’m feeling severe imposter syndrome. My position at my internship feels like I’m stepping from mailroom to CEO even though everyone is assuring me I’m wholly qualified. Further, I get extremely lonely when I’m stuck home alone for a weekend (don’t drive). I’m freaked out that I’ll just feel that for the months I’m there. Finally, I’m really nervous as I’m going from only ever living in small towns to living in a major US city. Obviously that has its benefits, like infinitely more options for grocery stores, dining, entertainment, shopping, and access to services that I could never dream of at home- all accessible by a robust public transit system. But I know I’m in for massive culture shock and some adapting.
I’ll be positively jumpstarting my career in a way that people my age would practically kill for and I can’t seem to just be solely excited for it. Hoping for the best. 😅

I'm currently planning a 20-day trip to Korea in late Octobeearly November. We will be flying into Seoul from the US and out of Busan to Taipei. One of our main goals is to do some hiking and see autumn foliage. We also love big cities and trying new foods, and we don't like to travel too quickly.
I'm writing this post to get some help with the travel logistics and the broad strokes of the itinerary. I've tried to time things so that we'll be hiking on weekdays and so that we can go to a particular templestay. Here's what I have so far:

• Temple stay at Bulguksa the night of the 28th (this is the only time available during our trip)

Oct 29: Check out of temple stay at 11:00 am and travel to Suncheon
Oct 30–31: Suncheon

• Suncheon Bay National Garden
• Day hike between Seonamsa and Songgwangsa

Nov 1: Travel to Busan
Nov 2–4: Busan

• Spa Land

Nov 5: Depart Busan to Taipei
A few questions:

1. Is two full days in Sokcho enough, especially with more than one day hike in Seoraksan? We could add a day if we end up skipping Suncheon (see below).
   
2. It doesn't seem very realistic to check out of the temple stay on the 29th and get to Suncheon the same day. Would others agree? Does anyone have any suggestions for how to handle that part of the itinerary? We're open to replacing Suncheon with another location (maybe somewhere closer to Busan).
   
3. We were also considering hiking in Jirisan (instead of going to Suncheon), but the logistics seem like they might be difficult for someone without any Korean language skills. Is this true in anyone's experience? Are there other good hiking spots in the south that might be more accessible?

After reading chapter 4 I had a theory since there were so many bizarre things that have yet to be explained. This is a copy paste of what I sent to my friend.
Rohan is in hawaii for a reason and looking at his lab using beakers and nothing else we can tell he’s submerging the volcanic rocks in water to measure their density. We know that stands come from a virus that is trapped in the form of a foreign metal in meteors. Now since this is a new universe the meteor may very likely have landed in the sea and next to hawaii and the volcano eruption causes the meteor to melt down or be broken apart and be mixed with the volcanic rock. There are tons of stand users in hawaii with weak stands with very specialised abilities which is an indication of forcefully awoken stands like the lock or surface from part 4 or shitty stands like planet wave and all of the prisoner stands. So the particles of volcanic rock or little pebbles could be anywhere and it awoken the stands of many people in Hawaii especially kids since they play outside more and go barefoot and shit. Diamonds are made under intense pressure but that could also mean that the virus could be in the diamond and the diamond came from rohan going around the place trying to find its origin since he asked the gang what they knew about the diamond cause he wouldn’t be interested in stupid things like how much the diamond is worth but he would care if the diamond can give people stands. He drops the diamond in the fight and it bounces off the wacky dude’s hands and into dragona’s hands. The wacky guy wasn’t cut by the diamond but dragona tried to catch it and wants to steal it. Since we know that things like arrows that are made out of the stand awakening virus has a kind of its own and the requiem arrow did once fall out of diavolo’s hands because he wasn’t worthy of a requiem stand it went right through him and dropped on the floor. Dragona couldn’t catch it even thought she did because she wasn’t worthy. The volcanic rocks that are stored with the diamond in the safe could potentially awaken stands. Since it’s the last part of jojo Araki might bring the topic of the origin of stands out right from the beginning because all of part 9 is gonna build up towards something big. Thoughts?

Demo: Straight white male, both parents have bachelors degrees.
Academics: 3.96 unweighted GPA, 4.4 weighted. Currently 10th out of 490 in my graduating class. Several AP classes, possible IB diploma (wish me luck), 1440 SAT (1470 with SuperScore)
ECs: Varsity soccer player, NHS and SNHS member, various culture-based clubs, 4-year band member with leadership positions for 2 of the 4 years. Due to IB, I'll have plenty of community service hours (likely 200+). Also will have worked as a soccer referee for SABR for about a year.
Possible Colleges: U of Florida, Florida State, Penn State, Texas (at Austin), Vanderbilt, Boston College, UVA, Wisconsin, and Ohio State.
Other factors: IF I graduate with the IB diploma, I'll get a full scholarship to the Florida Schools above, but I've been looking to get out of Florida for a while as I'm not a huge fan of the weather and politics. Other than that, location doesn't matter as my parents are moving once I graduate HS. Looking for a school where greek life and heavy partying isn't the only social scene, so if any of the above schools are like that, lmk.

32F, 125 pounds, no chronic medical conditions.
This is a medical event that happened three years ago and never had a satisfactory explanation - above are my statistics at the time. I'm hoping by soliciting the knowledge of the wider medical community, I might discover what happened here.
During my pregnancy I hit a point where I developed excessive thirst and drank a gallon of fluids or more per day (120+ ounces). No gestational diabetes, HELLP, or other common causes of thirst, and the pregnancy was otherwise healthy. To this day I don't know what caused the excessive thrist.
I started registering as polyhydramnios at my OB appointments, and the standard line is that there's basically nothing you can do except monitor (amniocentesis and medication are prescribed in a pinch, but neither seem to be very effective). I'd read that ogliohydramnios could be treated in some cases by drinking more fluids, so I thought, maybe it's possible that drinking excessively could cause too much amniotic fluid? I was 28 weeks and had already had Braxton Hicks contractions strong enough to land me in the hospital to monitor for preterm labor. They ran a battery of tests on both me and the fetus to rule out potential causes for the polyhydramnios and found nothing.
I decided to run an experiment and drink less, and monitor closely for signs that I was still properly hydrated. I restricted fluids over the next week to 80 ounces per day. I was extremely thirsty, but I didn't seem dehydrated in any way, and almost immediately I started feeling better and my Braxton Hicks went away. At my next OB appointment my amniotic fluid volume was down to within normal range.
I tried going back off of fluid restriction to see what would happen, and sure enough my amniotic fluid would go back up when I wasn't restricting and would go back down when I was. I always made sure I was adequately hydrated (skin tent test, saliva, urine color, etc).
Is it possible that fluid restriction could be a treatment for idiopathic polyhydramnios if the patient remains well hydrated? Is there any research out there that could explain, support, or refute my observations?

I always hear people saying that before spending time creating your product see if people are even interested. One common approach I've been told multiple times was create a landing page with an email signup and see if people are interested, if so, only then create the mvp.
Where are some of the places (communities) people go to get users to see if there is any traction.

Hello everyone, this is probably going to be a super long winded post, but I want to best outline my situation. I am currently living in Grayson County, Texas with my husband and toddler. For the last two years, I have been the only member of our family working. I was making $45,000 per year as a manager for a call center. The reason my husband wasn't working for the past two years is because we were saving money by him staying at home, rather than paying for daycare. I'm really unsure on what to do.
TLDR: Laid off on April 7th. Was unable to pay May rent as a result. Apartment complex filed eviction without giving a 3 day notice (they say that they did). I tried to pay rent today for May but was denied because it does not include May, late fees, eviction fees, water bill, and the fees for June rent.
April 7th, 2023: I was laid off from my job of over two years, April rent was paid via the online portal. April 7th - May 19th: I submitted over 300 job applications during this time period. April 7th: Applied for food stamps and unemployment benefits. April 11th: Unemployment benefits were approved in the amount of $843 biweekly. April 22nd, 2023 7:00 AM: I contact the apartment complex via e-mail informing them that I cannot access the online portal to pay my upcoming rent payment. It appears that they have switched to a new provider for their online services. April 22nd, 2023 10:15 AM: The apartment complex asks me if I'm still having issues, to which I send a screenshot as proof that I am. April 22nd - May 1st: I have not received a response to my e-mail to get this issue resolved. May rent is now due May 1st, 2023: Sent the complex another e-mail explaining that I cannot access the online portal. I do not have the funds to make the full amount of May's payment at this point, but a relative of mine was willing to help me with half of it. May 11th, 2023: After so many phone calls, I am now approved for food stamps. Which takes a load off of me considering I can now have food for my autistic toddler, as well as have enough money for my bills. May 11th, 2023: I contact the apartment complex requesting a payment extension until May 16th. They advised me that they will file for eviction on the 15th. May 14th, 2023: Electricity was cut off due to non-payment. Stayed with a friend for a few days until my electricity was back on. May 16th, 2023: Had to make a payment to turn my electricity back on, therefore was unable to make the rent payment for May at this time. Still cannot access the online portal where I can make a partial payment, and they will not accept a money order of less than the full amount due. I contacted multiple different resources in my area in order to get May's rent covered, to which they were unable to assist me. May 18th, 2023: My husband got a job, but it only pays $14/hour. You get what you can get type of situation. May 19th, 2023: I was offered a position with an insurance company as a Benefits Representative starting June 19th. Things are looking up! May 22nd, 2023: I sent an e-mail requesting a temporary payment arrangement to which I received no response. May 31st, 2023: Thanks to my husband's paycheck, I finally have the full amount due for May's rent payment! Hooray! They still won't fix the online portal for me, so I have to get a money order. I bring the money order to the front office, only discover that they have filed for eviction on me and are refusing to take the payment of $805. Instead, I will owe $805, plus the late fees, plus the water bill that I never received due to not being able to access the online portal, plus the eviction court fee, and PLUS June rent by the time that court rolls around. I informed them that I never received the 3 day notice to pay or quit via a note on my door or by mail. They stated that they placed a note on my door on May 8th, 2023. I ask for a copy of the note, to which they could not locate it in my file, but rather found it scattered on their bosses desk.

I purchased the Opsix a few months back, a bit of a lateral move from my other poly the Minilogue but I really needed full sized keys and the demo intrigued me. Fast forward to now, I can’t seem to make anything worth a damn from it. Any time I tinker with some of the template presets, I ultimately end up with harsh, tinny leads (after 30 minutes of tinkering with operators). It ironically made me appreciate the Minilogue a lot more, how effortlessly I can land into something I like and edit the parameters on the fly. I don’t think it helps that Korg isn’t offering any sound libraries for free yet, wish some questionable stock presets. The stuff I really gravitate towards on the machine are the old EP/WurlitzeOrgan sounds and the sequencer can be pretty fun. Just feel like I am barely using half of its capabilities and was wondering if anyone had tips/similar experiences.
