2023.03.25 08:04 Goodbyehoney I destroyed my fiancé’s dead ex wife photos and her antique horse collection and my fiancé doesn’t know.

So I have been keeping this for a couple of months. I (26F) have been with my fiancé Ale (27M) for 2 year but I’ve known him when I was a freshmen in high school and he was sophomore. He was with his deceased ex wife Lorraine when they were in middle school. I always kinda had feelings for Ale, even when I was in relationship with my ex boyfriend from high school, we broke up of course. But Ale has two kids Basil (8M) and Birdie (3F). I love those kids as my own and see them as my own. He was married to his deceased ex wife Lorraine when she was 18 and he was 19. Had their son after they got married. Sadly Lorraine passed away from child birth with their daughter Birdie. I consulted him when he was grieving. After a year of her passing we got into a relationship. He’s the best partner I can ever ask for and we are getting married in summer of July. Birdie sees me as her mother and Basil sees me more as an aunt than a mom. I was always auntie Coco but my name is Celia. Basil does have a picture of him with his mom and Ale and him when she was 5 months pregnant with Birdie. He does not have a picture of us together as a family. He still misses his mom. I was kinda a little jealous of Lorraine. Especially during high school. Sometimes I wish I was the birth mother of Basil and Birdie. I wished I had his kids first and Ale doesn’t want anymore kids biologically. Because he told me he only wanted Lorraine to have his kids. He had a vasectomy. He told me he rather just adopt, or I use a sperm donor which makes me upset. I felt so insecure, about all of it. Thinking Lorraine is in the way. All of Ale’s friends knew Lorraine In and out. Since they all knew each other in middle school and had the same old friend group growing up all together. Especially Ale’s best friend Jordan. He adored Lorraine. So did his wife Ruth, which is Lorraine’s best friend. I know them but I am not close to them. They all talk about Lorraine from time to time. About the things they used to do. They are the godparents of Basil and Birdie. So they’re around a lot. I however didn’t know Lorraine that much, but she was nice to me. It felt fake tho. So I wasn’t really a big fan of her. But respected her enough. I felt kinda like I was intruding in Ale’s beautiful family. I remember going through the attic and finding some of Lorraine’s and Ale’s belongings. With photos from middle school to before her passing. Also with Ale’s old gifts that Lorraine given him to Lorraine’s gifts from Ale have given her. A lot of horses as Lorraine grew up on a horse ranch and loved horses. Ale was keeping this for his kids to give when they were older. To treasure their mothers stuff. I also found another box filled with Lorraine’s collection of old vintage and antique stuff of horses and gifts from her friends, Ale’s friends, and family, and Ale’s family. I got jealous as Ale was planning on giving this stuff of Lorraine’s horse collection and gifts to Birdie. Ale has already given Birdie Lorraine’s old stuff zebra when she was a young child and given Basil an old knife that belonged to Lorraine’s grandfather. All I know is, I wanted everything gone. When Ale took Basil and Birdie to Lorraine’s parents house for a few days. I stayed back because of work. I knew this was an opportunity to get rid of Lorraine’s stuff and photos. So I took the knife and the stuff zebra, all the photos of Lorraine in it and her antique horse collection. Burned all the photos threw her antique collection away and destroyed some. Cut open all the stuff toys of Lorraine’s and letters she wrote. Destroyed every single thing of hers. I felt satisfied knowing she won’t be a bother and nothing to be jealous of anymore. I felt happy and not remorseful. When Ale and the kids came back, I pretended as nothing happened and was just normal. It only took a few days when they noticed. Especially Basil he couldn’t find his photo of him and his mother or the knife. He raised awareness of the disappearance of the stuff, which got Ale searching for the zebra. But couldn’t have been found. We did moved to a new house few months after. Ale searched through the attic to pack stuff and noticed that only Lorraine’s stuff were all gone. Her collection, childhood stuff, their pictures together, letters, gifts. Just everything. He searched frantically for it. He did questioned me as he knew about my insecurities and jealousy of Lorraine. But I told him that I would never do anything like that. He believed me. Thinking he left her stuff back at the old house. Even to this day he still doesn’t know. Basil is however heart broken which got me feeling a bit sad. Lorraine’s parents and friends are very sad about it. As Ale did tell his friends and everyone. His family is sad about it. Because they loved Lorraine like a daughter. I wish they loved me like one. But I know I can’t ever compare to her. Ale’s friends are also so sad about what happened. Everyone is sad. But they don’t know a thing.. Even Birdie is sad about the zebra. But that thing was old and gross. So I got her a new one. She doesn’t love it like her old one but she sleeps with it once and a while. I don’t think I can ever tell Ale or anyone this. But feels good to take it off my chest. Only person I really told were my two best friends Mandy and Hollie. Mandy knows Ale but in high school they really weren’t that close. But still hung out and Hollie didn’t really like Ale that much she only knows him because she dated his friend Maxwell in high school to college on and off. Until Maxwell got married with a kid on the way. However Mandy and Hollie have told me what I did wasn’t right. But they won’t tell anyone. So I feel safe knowing they won’t tell Ale or anyone of his friends and family.

Hi all
I am due to take a job abroad in the summer that is likely to be for 3 years but has the possibility of being extended. My partner and I have decided to rent out our property.
The house was bought for £150k five years ago but is now worth £250k in the current market. Hypothetically, if we were to rent it out for the next 5 years and were to sell it for £300k, would we be subject to 50%CGT on the £150k increase since we purchased the property?
Alternatively, is there a way to benchmark that the majority of the value increase occurred during our residency and therefore we would pay 100%CGT on the increase from £250k - £300k? Also in this scenario, if a horrible situation occurred where the property was worth less than £250k in 5 years, would it excuse any CGT contribution?

I have a property which I rent out to a single parent with a child. I've been paying for the gardening maintenance since I figured I don't spend enough on the house to claim deductions. So every 3 months, I get the agent to hire a local gardener to mow and maintain the garden - subject to tenant approval of course who has never complained.
I'm just wondering what other landlords pay for in maintenance that they volunteer to do just cause?

Hello everyone, just wanted to know how Ramadan is observed among Muslim firefighters around the world.
I’ll share my experience. I’m from Singapore, majority of us in the Force are Muslim. So that means majority of us in my shift are Muslim, myself included. So it’s pretty okay, a firefighting shift is like a family in stations everywhere and it definitely is here. We fast together, eat together, pray together. Someone in my shift has a dad who owns a restaurant so we got delicious food from that place once. One of the senior firemen’s wife is an amazing cook, she made a huge feast for all of us today. God bless her. While we are all Muslim, we are of different ethnicities so we bring dishes that belong to our own cultures for everyone to share. So it’s pretty nice. What’s not nice is resisting drinking water after calls (we had a house fire and a suicide rescue call so far :/).
So fellow Muslim firefighters, how are you going on this beautiful month? Non-Muslims who are curious about fasting and Ramadan, please feel free to ask questions!

2023.03.25 08:02 Electronic-Front4581 Where do I begin to get help?

I'm a 27 year old female. I've probably had anxiety all my life but have never spoken to a doctor or anyone about it.
I feel like im just always in a constant state of worry. So much so that it drives me to have small OCD traits. Something as simple as fearing a house fire and having to do a series of steps checking lights before I leave the house. Over and over......and over again. It's weird.
I'm always worrying about the future, past things I can't change, things I say or do after im with people, how people view me, if I have a "too much" gene. I'll sit and agonize over things that's so mild for someone to worry about but drives me up a wall. To the point of frustration where I just lose it and cry into a panic.
I dont even know where to start to solve this. I feel like the past year it's been horrendous and getting increasingly worse. I'm good at playing it off. I'm good at putting on a show because I've always thought I could handle it- lots of people I know feel the same. But it's really starting to take a toll on my life and the things I'm doing or too afraid to even try to do.
I feel like I use alcohol and drugs as a way to cope sometimes. Not an outrageous amount but I'll have a big drinking night and then will go a week without drinking cause I've worried myself into thinking I have a problem and need self control.
I'm so good at people pleasing and acting like everything is fine but I feel like my mind is just in a dark place. Telling myself I'll never make it, that I'll always be alone, etc.
It's really stupid things to stress over. Or at least stupid things to let myself worry about for more than a minute.
Money is always a bug stress factor- for everyone of course but thats the main reason I think I've never gone to get help. I'm not sure how much it cost to afford the help I need or where to even go. Not to mention the fear I get trying to explain how I feel to someone and them thinking I'm crazy or I'm making it up- how sad to think a professional in this field would judge me....
I just feel like if I dont try to improve my overall mindset towards life then I wont have a fulfilling one. I'll be too afraid to try new things that scare me, I'll stick to my same safe routine, and I'll come home and cry over the big and small worries that run through my head daily.
Where I do I start to fix this...?

My brother left and decided to not talk. My father died 10 months ago. My grandma died 6 months ago. My mother died 2 days ago. I am left alone in my birth family. I am married to a lovely man. We have a very grieving 5 year old and it breaks my heart. I gave birth a week ago to a lovely boy. This was supposed to be a lovely time, pain of death behind us and a new baby. We live with my mum and we had a plan of her helping, she was overjoyed, now I am planning her funeral while still too exhausted and physically damaged to function. The house we live in is too big for us to keep without my parents. I was born here and it is like another family member. But - if I keep it I will be slave to it. My husband’s parents are still alive but live in the other side of the world. They would love us there and it makes sense. But that means all my social network will be gone. All my support from my friends gone.
Just like that, celebration 3 days ago turned to the most painful and stressful time of my life full of anxiety and grief. It was never supposed to be like this.
Mum I love you. I will miss the two hour daily chats even though you drove me mad sometimes. I do not know how me and my daughter will go on without you. A huge gaping hole is left. It is Mother’s Day here today and I have no one and no place to take flowers to. I still have the ones you gave me when I came home from the hospital and this is beyond heartbreaking as they will wilt. Instead I will get autopsy report. You were supposed to be here for another 20 years. But will be in my heart until I die.
Universe give me the energy to get trough this! I will do it for my husband and my children! Things will get better, maybe not now but they will!

If you ask a question please give ALL relevant information!

  • Your monster box: Upload a screenshot to Reddit directly or an image hosting site like imgur or use swarfarm. Sort your box by "Grade" and try to include all 4*s and LD nat 3*s.
  • Your current progression: Where you currently are in the game, what your teams are, what content you need help with and what you have tried so far.
  • For ToA, which enemies are on the floor you're stuck on.
  • For PvP, indicate what rank you are trying to achieve, i.e. currently F3 want to get C1 Arena. For RTA also share your rank percentage.
The less people have to clarify or look up to help you, the more likely you will get a fast response.

Beginner friendly/farmable PvE teams

Recommended progression: GB10 -> ToAN -> GB12 -> ToAH -> (DB11 ->) NB12 -> R5 and Rifts
Fast progression: GB12 -> (DB11 ->) NB12 -> BJ5 -> Tricaru DB12
Note that for NB12 a few violent sets (especially on twins) are making things a lot easier so before tackling Necropolis you might want to farm a little bit of DB11, it also gives you Guard runes for Tricaru.
  • GB10: Vero (L), Fran, Loren, Lapis, Shannon/second awakened (2A) Kro
  • Legacy GB10 teams typically include Belladeon, Bernard, or Darion. These units are outdated and can be skipped.
  • GB12: Vero (L), Fran, Loren, 2A Kro, Shannon/Lapis/2A Naomi
  • DB12: Verde (L), Fran, Loren, Sig, Elsharion or Verde (L), Vero, Fran, Loren, Spectra (2A)
  • PB10: Verde (L), Colleen/Fran, 2A Raoq, 2A Kro, 2A Spectra/Yen/Pang. You can also use 2A Jultan to tank the boss (on multiple Will sets).
  • SB10: Fran, Loren, 2A Kro, 2A Raoq, Ling Ling
  • NB12: Lapis (L), Colleen/Fran, Loren, 2A Raoq, 2A Kro/Raoq (NB10 guide). Twins are a much better choice and should be used if possible. You can also directly use Tricaru.
  • ToA(H): Fran (L), Lapis, Verde, Loren, Vero/2A Kro/2A Spectra. Use Tyron if you have him. 2A Sath/Thrain are good options if you want to go for a dot team, do not use Baretta as he's terribly outdated.
  • R5: Front Line: Xiong Fei, Darion Back Line: Colleen, 2A Kro, Tesa, Theo/Xiao Lin/Belladeon
  • R5 stat minimum: You need 25k HP and 1.5k DEF for FL units and 20k HP and 0.8-1k DEF for BL units. Healers and your cleanser should have 100% RES after lead.
  • Rift unit options: Xiao Lin, Theomars, Fran, Colleen, and 2A Kro can be used in most of your rift teams. FL Mav/Bernard is good for Water rift and Lapis is good for Fire and Dark rifts. Twins are great in all rifts.
You still need appropriate rune quality and turn order! Do not expect to beat a dungeon just by having these units

Common speed teams

  • R5 - BJ5: Colleen, Baleygr, Janssen, Dagora, Loren, lead unit (BJ5 guide)
  • DB12 - Tricaru: Verde (L), 2A Icaru, 2A Icaru, 2A Icaru (guide (Note: DEF requirement is 3300)) (Cheatsheet) (Calculator)
  • NB12 - Tricaru: Either add Astar or replace Verde with her (on vamp, same stats). Adding Astar and Lushen to clear waves first also works.
  • GB12 - dots dots dots: 2A Sath, Mellia, Mellia, 2A Tatu, dot unit/Lushen (guide)
  • PB10 - Tricaru: Kill towers first (usually L>R>B but some people reported R>L>B working better for them).
  • SB10 - dots dots dots: 2A Sath, Mellia, Mellia, 2A Tatu, dot unit/Lushen

PvE accuracy requirements

Rifts need no ACC. R5 needs 15%. SB10 needs 25%. PB10 39%. ToA(H), GB10, and NB10 45%. DB10, GB12, NB12 and ToA Hell 55%. DB12 needs 65%.

General tips and answers to Frequently Asked Questions:

  • NEVER feed non-farmable monsters! (you can feed dupes for skill ups)
  • Save your devilmons! In general you do not want to give devilmon to 4* units, Sigmarus and Jeanne are the best early game candidates. Veromos does not need devilmon.
  • Best summon stone targets: Tyron, Lushen, Shaina, Sabrina, Talia. For PvP Khmun, Skogul, Galleon.
  • Check the events for free energy, mana, and other beneficial stuff. To find the current event pages use the button below the energy/mana counter in-game.
  • Lapis can farm Faimon Hell on the free 6* level 15 vampire/revenge runes provided by the challenges. She should be your first 5* and probably 6* as well.
  • Shield sets can reduce the HP/DEF requirements on other units and multiple shield sets will stack to form one larger total shield. Each set contributes a shield equal to 15% of the base HP of the monster they are equipped on.
  • White artifacts from B2 are cheap to upgrade and can give you a massive stat boost early.
  • Hall of Heroes (HoH) should be attempted as high as you can climb. Reps like Rica or Verad can help a lot. Mid/late game players can get 5 extra copies of the HoH monster using almighty scroll pieces after each floor at the small cost of 2000 guild points for each extra monster.
  • Most nat 5*s are PvP exclusive and should be set aside in storage till you make some progress on PvE. Some exceptions are CC units like Rica for ToA, cleansers like Anavel for starter R5, and Perna for rifts.
  • Dimensional hole energy should be spent as soon as possible, always try to stay under the energy cap (recharge rate: 1 per 2h). 2A Kro first, then Spectra or Raoq.

What Brand / Model TV is optimal for use with HomeKit and AppleTV 4K (tvOS16.3.2).
Last time I bought a TV was 2008. I know nothing about all this “smart TV” technology but am very sure I do not want Google anything in my home.
For the record I’m in Australia where everything seems to use Android TV across the board, regardless of price point. Sales folk’s best suggestion was that I no longer required the Apple TV with new Android TV.
What are my choices, in Australia, for a new >75” OLED TV that’ll run Dolby Atmos sound and my AppleTV?
