"You just arrived in a isolated village in a high-mountain valley to celebrate the birth of the first child of Karandis, a marchant and good friend of yours. Unfortunately, a murder took place in the middle of the party. The villagers immediately suspected you (because your are strangers) and you spend the night in jail. But in the morning a second dead body is discovered. You are free, but everything in this murder seems to accuse Karandis. He's in jail and will be executed if you don't rapidly find the real guilty. All exit to the valley are currently obstructed by important snow falls who occurred during night, so the killer is obligatory always near."
The thing is that I don't have much more than that. Would that intrigue remind you of OS I could take inspiration from? Or would you have any general advice for this kind of game?

Something to measure the bite force with.
One of the most commonly mentioned devices that I see on research papers is the GM10 portable transducer, produced by the Japanese company Nagano Keiki, which indeed, produces all sort of dynamometers and pressure mesurers. But, they don't seem to produce it anymore. Or at least, they don't mention it in English on their website.

I've been using S key for a while now to stop myself from auto-attacking minions, but I've realised that with the option turned on, if lee sin kicks me under turret while I'm hitting the turret my champion will automatically hit them in-between which gives me turret aggro, even though that wasn't the idea at all.
Should the setting be turned off to stop this from happening? I guess it would be bad for jungling especially if you're looking around at other players and lane states because if you kill one of the raptors you'll just be idling if you're not fast enough.

Its playstyle I've been with since 2013 since Desura days. The game has come a long way and its really beautiful when I see people use the ingame radios to communicate with other players through text.
My first time on a pvp server with build 41, it was a server with no rules, so I claimed a safehouse thinking i was safe from players, well someone started beating on me door, I started shooting at the door, the door stopped making noises. Next thing you know I'm surrounded by four players yelling at me, next thing you know my house is in fire and all the time i spent that day gathering loot was burning, i tried to save what I could, sheet roped out the window to escape the fire. But I was met with gun fire, I started running; But I couldnt cause the weight of the goods was slowing me down; I dropped the goods, I made it out of there only to open a bathroom door to be met with a flood of zombies.

I'm not sure this will be helpful because everyone's situation is different but when I was deep into my dpdr I came here often and recovery stories really gave me hope. So I wanted to share mine with you. Hoping it will help some of you.
After losing my dad to cancer unexpected I didn't really take enough time to process it and just carried on working and being busy. I started to obsess over my gender identity (which I never had before) and it gave me A LOT of anxiety. It was like my mind was hijacked by thoughts about being transgender. I sought help and was diagnosed with OCD. I started therapy for it. Then a few weeks after I had a panic attack and I suddenly was completely tied up in very scary existential thougths and feelings of dpdr.
I felt like I couldn't exist anymore. Because everything about life had become unbearable and scary. I was constantly scared of being a person and being in my body and about how reality could exist. It was not just thoughts. I also felt very estranged from myself. Like I couldn't relax. I was on edge all the time. Going through a day was absolute agony and terror. I didn't know what to do. I felt like I was slowly going crazy and I feared that this would all never go away again. I had it before in my 20's. I'm 36 now. And I felt it was much worse this time.
It started in September 2022 and it lasted up until February 2023. That was the worst of it. After that it became a little better and better gradually. And it isn't completely gone. But it's like 99% better than it was. I'm still plagued by thoughts about my gender identity but that's another story ;)
What helped me were a number of things. For starters my therapist really helped me to stop fighting the thoughts and sensations and just accept that I had them. I still felt awful but with accepting the situation as it was I began to try to identify things that were helpful for me. For me I found it it was all a lot of accumulated stress and being in a constant state of panic.
Helpful things were:
-expressing my fears and emotions to others and to cry when I felt like it was all too much. Just let it all out. -having a good sleep pattern -trying to do things that make me happy or used to make me happy -avoid catastrophic ways of thinking like this will never be better -grouning exercises like mindfulness meditation. I did a bodyscan every night before going to sleep -running therapy tremendously helped me to relax my body and mind
What is Running therapy?
Running therapy is the use of a calm endurance course, during which you exercise at a moderately intensive level. Research shows positive results of exercising in depression, anxiety, addiction and chronic pain. In addition, exercising strengthens the body, provides relaxation and creates an overall improvement in mood. People who exercise regularly at a moderately intensive level show a considerable improvement in physical and mental health. The running therapy group is supervised by one of our psychologists, who is also trained as a running therapist. The added value of running therapy carried out by psychologists is the extra attention for the relationship between body and mind. -ACT acceptance and commitment therapy helped me to accept what I was dealing with and to find ways to cope. One thing I used to do was to write all my thoughts on sticky notes when it was bad. It helped me to get it all out. -This will maybe sound a bit cheesy but really getting into contact with my emotions helped me to get in contact with myself. So cry when you feel like crying. Vent about what you're going through. Try to get out of your head. -This one is very important: try to look at yourself with compassion. Like you're a little child or a friend you have to take care of. Take it one day at a time. Every day can get you closer to feeling better. And don't beat yourself up for experiencing this. It isn't your fault. -A lot of people will not understand what you're going through and it's hard to explain. This can feel lonely. I found out that for me it wasn't necessary that people completely understood me. What helped me was feeling their support and love. A lot of people know what it is to go through hardship. Even if it's not the exact same things you experience you can still symphatize. -Doing jigsaw puzzles and coloring really helped me to get out of my head. Eventhough I sometimes felt really anxious while doing them. -I found someone on reddit who went through the exact same things. We started to message to support each other and help each other. She helped me through some bad nights.
Unhelpful things were
-investigating my symptoms online. This made me constantly worry it would turn into psychosis or something -obsessively trying to monitor how you're feeling every moment of the day. It made me focus on it even more. It was the same with telling every little thought I had to my family. There's nothing wrong with asking for support or advice. But for me too much emphasis on the symptoms made me worse. -Negative and catastrophic thinking patterns, like this will never end. -Not eating or sleeping enough made it worse for me. The same with being too busy.
I didn't use any medication because I didn't want to. But that was my personal choice. I'm not saying meds can't be helpful for others.
I realize that my tips will not work for everyone. Because everyone is different. And I'm not a therapist or something. I can only share what helped me cope. I really hope it is helpful for someone. And I hope people will stay strong going through this. I know it's the worst. But it can get better.

I'm a 3k offlane player and I really enjoy Timbersaw but I feel like I gimp my other 2 cores by playing him as a 3.
I tend to have massive farm, kill and damage numbers, almost always far above the pos 1&2 and way more than any of my other farmy pos 3's, but my WR with him is pretty average (52% 62 games). What seems to happen regularly is I do really well in lane, hit my timings hard and get a lot of early-mid game kills but end up having an underfarmed pos 1&2, the enemy kills the rest of my team and eventually outnumbers me. I try to be ultra conscious of taking the most dangerous farm and not areas that I predict my pos 1/2 will want but it doesn't always seem to work. It feels great and looks flashy but ultimately I feel like I'm playing a single player rpg and not creating a game for my pos 1 to thrive.
What's the solution?

Hosting a small, private, cross-play server (Java & Bedrock) for my daughter and her friends. Unfortunately they are still quite young and a little afraid to jump into the Dragon fight so it's up to me... and YOU!

We don't have much of an economy, although trades for rare or hard to get items are encouraged! My enjoyment of the Warhammer franchises has never been through the tabletop games. Too expensive, too much prep work, too much obvious buyers' remorse from occasional friends who did have model armies; my own interest in turn based strategy gaming basically starts and ends with chess. However, I thoroughly enjoy some of the 40K and WH Fantasy video games: the Total War Warhammer trilogy, Chaosbane, Space Marine, Dawn of War I and II, Battlefleet Gothic Armada I and II, WH40K Inquisitor MartyProphecy, Necromunda Hired Gun, Shootas, Blood & Teef, even Vermintide sometimes. I enjoy reading and watching videos about WH Fantasy and 40K lore, checking out artwork and there are a few books I want to read too when I get the chance.
Quite often I will see some fantastically painted models for the tabletop games and I'm tempted to get something amazing looking just to have as a display piece on my shelves - but I'm not sure what exactly. I'll see WH themed art works that look spectacular and maybe I want to get art books or find collections online to have as wallpapers on my computer. What are the best resources I can use to check out the most amazing models for using as display pieces, finding the best artworks, evaluating their costs (I'm in Australia) so that I can decide what I want and what is best value for my limited disposable income? And what sorts of tabletop miniatures do you have that make excellent display pieces?

I'm still mixed on PuPs as a whole, sometimes too much going on and the sound mix takes away from the table sounds, but I love the idea of a good PuP pack in general.
Some PuPs seem to have been built to run on a FullDMD (GotG for example), other games, like Tales from the Crypt, seem to have given you the option to run the PuP on the FullDMD or the Backglass. What I like about the FullDMD is that it seems to be easier to engage with as a player, however, you often need to make the scoreboard DMD even smaller to fit inside the PuP, so you "waste" a lot of real estate on a mostly static backglass, with the FullDMD having ALL the action (scenes and scoreboard). It seems more natural but also harder to see.
For some other PuPs, Tron LE for example, the PuP runs only on the big backglass, not that you couldn't move it but it's obvious that PuP is not meant for a FullDMD...I suppose you could modify it somehow but the way the action window at the bottom integrates with the PuP, you'd have to place your scoreboard on an additional DMD (not the backglass of course).
Just wondering what everyone who engages with the PuPs has been, have you in general used your FullDMD mostly for your scoreboard and maybe a topper (I like the lowDMD packs in popper putting the scoreboard towards the lower half of the fullDMD, with a topper in the top half if available). Or have you been trying to set the PUP itself to run on your FullDMD so you can use the standard backglass on the big screen and not have the PuP way up there?

Today I HAVE to let this dangerous game go. I (25m) feel i have lost everything, including myself. Since a young age, I have always loved card games, it started with family game nights, playing poker , spades, tunk even uni. As I got older, phone games became more popular, I dove into games such as online poker and blackjack. Then I find myself playing in the casinos, roulette is my game of choice. That rush of playing those games never left. Since the the legalization of online sports came about its had me in a chokehold. I’ve lost so much, won some, but then lost even more. I’ve gone in such spirals, lost jobs, lost apartments even my car and now I am in crippling debt. Even now, I find myself trying to muster up a few hundred to put on something to make up for it, but enough is enough. The rush and the agony of a loss is not worth it in end. No amount of money ive made I’ll be able to recoup. Its a terrible feeling, losing 100s of thousands, maybe make a few K, but in the the losses outweigh the wins. My family knows, my partner knows. And its just time for a change. I’ve deleted all my sports gambling apps, no longer have an urge to be at casinos. It’s tough. I still have a love for sports, it’s so hard to watch my favorite ones now because everything is “fanduel this, DraftKings that” every 10 seconds. It’s something I can’t even enjoy anymore without having gambling thrown in my face, which feels like almost a slap in the face. I want to get myself back on track, develop new hobbies.
