I love coconut and vanilla, but the terrible reviews on Fragrantica always stopped me from seeking this one out. However, I’ve recently come to the realization that there are a lot of perfume snobs and generally negative people on there, who have steered me in the wrong direction on numerous occasions. I seem to get more versatile opinions elsewhere, as I feel like nearly everyone on there jumps on the love/hate bandwagon nowadays. I don’t plan on blind buying it, but before I even bother sampling it, I want to know if it truly smells like Coppertone or At the Beach from Bath & Body Works, like a lot of the reviews on Fragrantica state? For reference, I don’t mind sunscreen vibes, but I do mind At the Beach. However, if they were to add vanilla to it, I might change my mind. I’d appreciate your opinions. Thank you so much!

Geez...problems after problems after problems with my current car.
Let me summarize:
I own a 2007 Honda Accord. Several times in the past, when I would start driving my car, after it had been parked outside for a while in the cold weather here in Minnesota, the brake pedal would literally "freeze". It would not budge at all when I would push my foot against it. This would all happen while my car was still driving. I was so lucky that I did not hit any incoming cars on the road because this scenario has previously occurred with my car crossing intersections at red lights. Only after 3-5 attempts of trying to push down the brake pedal, did the brake pedal finally move down.
The most recent incident occurred a few days ago at my apartment parking lot. I left my car sitting outside in the cold weather here in Minnesota. A few hours later, I went outside, and I drove off in my car. Right away, my brake pedal was freezing again. After 2-5 attempts of the brake pedal not going down when pushing my foot against it, I turned my emergency brake on. Still, my car was not stopping. I then tried pressing my brake pedal again, and finally...It went down, and my car stopped. My emergency brake pedal started working again also. Since this was happening it my apartment parking lot, I was driving very slow...But, there were many cars around me, and I was lucky to not hit any of them.
I finally took my car to an auto shop. I had paid the mechanic to do a "full vehicle inspection" on my car, and I also told him about the issue with my brake pedal and emergency brake as well. A few days later, he told me that my car needed some major repairs, and that it would cost around $3500. We decided to have those repairs done.
When I went to pick up my car after the repairs were done, and I was driving out of the auto shop parking lot, I noticed that my brake pedal felt "loose". It definitely moved, that was not the issue this time...It was moving too much. I literally had to press the brake pedal all-the-way down to get my car to stop. Another issue I have been having with my car for quite some time now is...When I would drive my car, I would frequently hear a "squeaking" type noise coming from the underside of my car. Even after the repairs done by the mechanic, that problem was also not gone.

In regard to the squeaky noise coming from my car when driving, they said: "We don't know what's causing that squeaky nose, but we want to fix "one thing at a time and the first thing to fix is that one brake caliber".

We were contacted for updated medical records last month, which we provided, and this week I got a call from my case worker who stated that it was being passed along for "final review."
For context: I have CFS and some auto-immune issues that for years did not impede work and on their own likely would not qualify, but since COVID have made working impossible. I work as an independent contractor now, from home, often from bed (I can't sit or stand for more than an hour at a time), and I haven't logged more than 3 hours a day or 8 hours a week on over a year.
My attorney is optimistic but I don't know what to make of this? I'm also a little thrown that the case worker congratulated me on my weight loss (125 lbs in 7 months) even though one of my symptoms is gastroparesis... I was thrown so I just said thank you. And I'm wondering now if I should have corrected them in the moment instead of letting them think I'm hitting the gym or whatever. (Um, I'm not.)

Option two: I booked an Airbnb for a little under 7k which is 33 minutes away from my job at rush hour via the bus. I’ve heard that 90 minute commutes are considered long in the city. What would you do if you were in my place?
1) stay with your family member and suffer through the commute? (I’ll have to take $70 Ubers for when my internship hosts events that end late, probably 3-4x a week)
2) stay with family, rent a car, and brave the city roads. Parking and rental fees are about 3800 in total not including gas. And I’ve never driven in the city before which makes me nervous.

I uploaded our certificates on to Visit Japan Web but when they were reviewed I received an email titled “(Quarantine Documentation Center) Please resubmit your test certificate”. It went on to state “This test certificate is not considered valid because we could not confirm required items, or they did not satisfy requirements.”

Important dietary indices/parameters based on the literature review are provided for each element. On the basis of the literature, data on the level of elements in patients with cancer were collected. The content of these elements in 100 mL of FSMPs was read from the manufacturers’ declarations. The literature has been provided on the importance of each element in cancer.

Her realtor made a contract. The contract states that rent will include utilities = total of $1650. The lease is month to month. I decided this in case my friend got on my nerves and i needed to leave. The contract also states that if the landlord wants to remove the tenant the tenant has 90 days to leave.
anyway…our utility bill has been NUTS since i moved in. mind you i work 8-10 hours a day. when i get home i watch tv then immediately sleep. my landlord and roommate has a stay at home job…
the utility bill before was around $250. now it’s $600-700!!! DAMNN! i mean it is the winter but WTH.
landlord/roomie/friend proposed to me that she wants to add utilities because when she developed the contract she did not expect utilities to be this high ever.
the thing is…i can’t afford anything and i do mean NOTHING over what i am paying. this is the max of my band width. this rent already eats %55 of my check for a month. i am maxed out.
the living situation is convenient because it’s furnished, wifi, ample street parking . but my landlord straight up said if the bill continues to be high she will change the contract.
i’ve already found another potential roommate and we are looking at places within budget.

I’m in my mid 30s, my father & I purchased a 2 family house back in 2013. Unfortunately my father passed away just about a year ago. Get ready for a long back story;
2013 purchase house for roughly 300k (was a 2 family across the Hudson) just located above port imperial (the ferry ⛴ going into NYC).
Variance was approved to convert into a 3 family. The project required lots of labor intensive work & due to limited access everything had to be done by hand. I believe the neighbor purchased the house next door around 2017/2018 just after the major undermining had begun.
Let’s refer to the neighbors as Dick & Karen. Dick is on some high horse & stars honking whenever someone is blocking his driveway. He will lay down the horn for 10 minutes straight without consideration to the time of day or neighbors. Across the street is a few apartment buildings (over 50 units per building).
I moved in about 6 months ago & own a property that’s an entire city block. Dick works for the “town” and all my tenants talk about how rude he is. Please keep in mind my father passed away just under 1 year ago. I’m the one managing the building, construction & any other factors related to the 138 apartment building. We have a mortgage on it but I’m a very humble person. You wouldn’t know I was the owner / manager unless the super intendeds disclosed this. I’m very down to earth, super reasonable & single.
I will do anything out of the kindness of my heart. They put planters over the property line & bitch whenever they are moved back onto their property. My side door is only accessible by walking on their property when a car is parked in my driveway. If they didn’t keep the planters over the property line I would have no issue getting inside my house. Since Karen has put the planters that have dying plants I have to walk on their driveway to get into my apartment .
I’ve confronted Karen & Dick after he purposely blocked my parking spot so I cannot back in. The day prior he honked his horn because one of my many vehicles was parked in from blocking my driveway. Dick had a shit fit & honked for 10 minutes straight @10pm on a week day.
I came outside & was abut heated asked what the hell is his issue, why must he honk the horn for 20 minutes straight. This is the first time I’ve met him & he responded I’m an Attorney. Oh fuck, at that moment I already knew they are going to suck. I’ve stated we really need to get along because I’m living here & don’t want issues. After that he made some rude remark & I moon cursed him off.
He tells his tenants to block my driveway. Long story short they installed a fence the wrong way & I’m fixing my back yard since I’m actually living here.
Do I put a message on the back side of the wood I’m installing with quotes saying
“ love thy neighbor” “ please throw away your cigarettes”
I need to finish my side of the fence since they didn’t install it correctly ( just had turf installed & want to finish the project before buying new furniture)
Do I post the messages knowing they will take it personally?
I’m at the point of “I don’t give a shit”
They sweep shit onto my doorway & tell my superintended that it needs to be cleaned & I have them on camera doing this & throwing cigarette butts by my door.

I won’t judge you but drug use is a deal breaker for me unless it’s occasional pot use for medicinal purposes. As a whole, I definitely seek a partner that will make me smile, make me laugh, support me, respect me and shares some of my values and beliefs. I know no one can tick off all of my boxes cause no one is a perfect fantasy. I just want you to tick off enough to where there’s enough chemistry to make a healthy long lasting relationship.

This strikes me as a very achievable goal for finally introducing proper rail transit to the Detroit metro area, but I'm looking for other opinions on potential issues or flaws. I'll include some streetview links and wiki articles for additional context. All of this plan utilizes existing rail infrastructure and would only require 4 potential new stations out of 11 total (though others may need rebuilds).
Half of this service, the Ann Arbor-Detroit segment, has been proposed before and is still included in the RTA's aspirational plans. MDOT owns this stretch of track. Original estimates for this service anticipated $130M in capital costs and $11-19M/yr to run 8 trains per day. Personally, I think that frequency should be doubled, but I'm unaware of how that might conflict with freight.
The other half of this service, Detroit-Pontiac, is a former SEMTA commuter line, but the tracks are currently owned by freight companies and would need to be acquired by the state for proper reliability.
The entire stretch between Pontiac-Ann Arbor is part of Amtrak's Wolverine service to Chicago.

Ann Arbor would use the existing Amtrak station site, but would likely need a proper transit center replacement. A second track might also need to be added to Ypsilanti. This station is about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown and 20 minute walk to UM's central campus.
Ypsilanti would reuse the defunct Depot Town freight house. This station is a 10 minute walk to downtown and a 15 minute walk to Eastern Michigan University.
Canton\* would be a simple park and ride platform and lot. There is vacant land next to the track at Haggerty Road.
Wayne/DTW\* would be a major stop at Detroit's international airport, Delta's second busiest hub. This stretch of the line overlaps with Amtrak Wolverine, a proposed HSR between Chicago and Toronto, and a proposed HSR connecting SE Michigan to Lansing and Grand Rapids. Unfortunately, this track is about 4 miles north of the actual airport grounds, and would require a transfer for passengers. I'm thinking of a rail connection similar to Phoenix's Sky Train, with direct access to both terminals and a stop or two for car rentals/parking north of the airport. Note that the previous proposals for this service planned for a simple shuttle bus connection between the airport and station.
Dearborn would use the already-operational Amtrak station. This stop is just a few minutes walk from downtown, and just steps from the largest indoor-outdoor museum complex in America.
Detroit's station would use the Amtrak site in the New Center area (sort of a secondary business district). MDOT is already planning for a new multimodal transit center here, but has not announced any specific details. Unfortunately, direct rail access to downtown Detroit no longer exists, but visitors could transfer to the streetcar line or other transit.
