What do I know though.

It was a normal Tuesday night. After work I walk to our local pub for food and drinks with some work friends. We meet up every Tuesday night and go to the same place. This night was different. It was very cloudy and there was a chance of rain. I live close to work and the pub so I usually walk. After getting to the pub I sat with my friends and since I was last to arrive I had to buy the first round of drinks. We usually don’t take shots since we all still have work the rest of the week. As soon as I take my first sip I notice something out of the ordinary, or rather someone. I notice a beautiful woman sitting at the other end of the bar. Usually we were the only people in the pub drinking, so this was odd. I take a good look at her and I’m instantly smitten. She has the most beautiful strawberry red hair, piercing brown eyes, snow pale skin, and an emerald green floral sundress. My friends started to give me shit for staring and to my surprise, she was staring and smiling back at me. I wouldn't say I’m an ugly man, but I’m also no model. I’m of average height and build. Nothing special. My friends are trying to hype me up to go talk to her. After a couple more drinks of my beer I walk over to her and introduce myself. “Hi, my name is Paul. It's nice to meet you.” “Hello, I’m Caroline. It’s a pleasure to meet you Paul.” Her voice was as sweet as frosting. It was soft and just the right amount of quiet. We get to talking and she convinces me to take shots with her. She orders six shots of Jack Daniel's for the two of us. By the time the bartender was done pouring I noticed my friends were gone. That's okay, we never stay too late anyway. We take the shots and I start to feel tipsy. It’s safe to say, I have no tolerance. We order one more round of shots and I’m done for the night. I’m as drunk as I allow myself to be. We talk for a few more minutes and she invites me to her place. I’m reluctant since I have work in the morning and I’m not one to have one night stands. But man this woman has a way with words. Caroline says she doesn't live far from here. She actually lives in the same apartments as I do. I was surprised since I’ve never seen her before. But at this point I’m too drunk to care. I followed her to her apartment and thankfully it's not raining yet. We stumble inside her apartment and we start making out. We kissed for a good couple minutes and all I could think was, “Man work is gonna suck tomorrow.” She pulls away and says in her sweet voice, "I'm going to make us a couple drinks. You stay here handsome.” I do as she says and I start looking around her apartment when I notice, It’s oddly empty. Then the cops come back with someone. “Is this Caroline sir?” one of the cops asked. “Holy shit, yes that is!” I yell as loud as I can in my condition. “How did you find her?” “She works here as a custodian. 'says the nurse. Caroline looks angry and scared. She tries to make a run for it and the cops tackle her. As she's being cuffed she yells in a loud sharp voice “You should have died in that apartment!” After the cops cuff her they take her away. I’m in the hospital for a couple weeks. Thankfully after my family heard about what had happened, they all got tested to see if they were a match for a transplant. I have both kidneys again and I made a full recovery. My work threw a welcome back party for me when I came back. My friends were all very apologetic for leaving me with that psychopath. I have no hard feelings towards them. But the lesson I learned was to never follow a woman home for a one night stand. Stay safe out there.

Been seeing a guy (33M), I (33F) met on bumble just over a month ago.
We have been having weekly casual dates, but in addition to that I've been sometimes giving him lifts home from work after which we talk for an hour or so.
Last week he said things are exclusive on his side, confirmed by showing me he deleted his apps. He already knew I wasn't seeing anyone else.
We hung out this weekend at his place, then yesterday spent a short amount of time together.
Then last night he messages saying he would like to continue on as friends for now as he feels guilty he can't make more of a commitment and is moving too fast and he is stressing out about hurting me. He says he still wants to spend time together and get to know me more and that his feelings haven't changed, but that he would feel more comfortable proceeding as friends for now and that anyway his past relationships started out of friendships.
I'm just trying to get a second opinion of whether I should hold out any hope of anything more? I'm going to ask him to meet to ask him specific questions about what his plans are like whether he is going to now date other people etc.
I am just really confused about what he wants given his feelings haven't changed, and just a week ago he said he was excited about me. I didn't think we were moving fast as we literally became exclusive last week and we haven't mentioned anything about being a couple or meeting friends or future plans etc.
I am willing to try and make a go of it as friends as I do enjoy spending time with him. Or is going to just cause more hurt in the long run?

I am a 21F who is set to start my internship next month. I have had neck issues my whole life which has been manageable at home but I've reached a point where physical therapy is probably needed due to constant pain/headaches. I have been feeling a bit better lately with at home exercises but I'm at a crossroads in deciding paths. My two options would be to do physical therapy throughout the summer because it is the most realistic time to start it (would be a full time student in the fall then start working) or just push through the summer and do the internship. Internship would be too far from any doctor near me to commute.
I'm also graduating so I'm worried I would have a hard time finding a job once I'm out the student bubble especially without an internship on my resume.
Any advice on what route to take would be appreciated!

I'm looking for a spare wheelchair for a large 65-pound dog that I could rent or borrow. I can't find any wheelchairs at the local stores and I'd like one as soon as possible. My dog has bone cancer(osteosarcoma) and has lost function of his right hind leg. Even tho he can't walk anymore I still take him to the park so he can lie down on the grass and get some fresh air. Whenever other dogs walk near us he starts whining and I can tell he really wants to walk again. His condition is getting worse by the day so I'd really appreciate if anyone could help me.

So I took my first dose on Sunday (so 3 days ago). My doctor wants me to start very slowly so I only took 0.125mg.
I’ve felt a little nauseous on and off, and I’ve had stomach pain on and off. I feel under the weather but not insanely sick. But here’s what I’m confused about:
I can’t tell if my appetite is suppressed or not (I wouldn’t think it would be on such a small dose), because I’m definitely finding I can’t eat as much during a meal as I normally do. But I usually also don’t snack a whole lot or if I do it’s more out of boredom than hunger. But the past couple days, I’ll get extremely hungry. Then I’ll have a small snack, and then a couple hours later get very hungry again (again, this is not normal for me at all). And yet, at lunch and dinner, I am definitely not able to eat as much as I normally do.
I’m confused about why I’m getting so much hungrier than usual but also why I’m already feeling so much fuller? I feel like those two things together don’t make sense? And I feel like they also don’t make sense to be happening when I’ve only taken 0.125mg?
To be fair, Monday I snacked a lot, and Tuesday a bit less. Today I definitely alternated between very hungry and feeling repulsed by food, but I was also very fatigued and slept most of the day and didn’t let myself snack.

Same as last time, we are going to start with the gripes!

If something was a gripe in the last post and isn't below, I either no long care, or they fixed it. I'll remark on a few of them after this section.

• Honestly... my biggest gripe with the car is that the steering wheel needs to telescope out at least another inch. This is only so high because it's basically the only thing I can think of, aside from interior space, that can't be fixed via software updates. I have chronic back issues that have been better since getting the car due to how adjustable the seat is. But I feel a bit too far away from the wheel.
• The app is missing a lot of no-brainer features and it's SLOW AS HELL. Can't open the trunk. Must set a timer to precondition the battery. Can't get trip/mileage details, or anything like that. Also as of 2.9 I have had intermittent PaaK issues when I never did before.
• Even though I've never had a car with a reverse camera before this, yes I agree with everyone else that loading the camera takes way too long.
• I'm still baffled and annoyed that there isn't a play/pause button on the steering wheel... BUT THERE IS A BUTTON THAT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
• Similar to above, no clock on the instrument panel. I've adjusted to it but still just really irks me.

Android and phone shenanigans

• Yes, still no album art over bluetooth. It's whatever to me by this point but still worth mentioning.
• The issues with sending texts is still ongoing. This seems to be entirely me, or my phone (Nokia XR20) as I've seen no one else here mention anything about it ever.
• Android Auto(motive) still has absolutely no idea what to do with MMS messages and I don't even bother trying to play or reply to group chats.
• Recently, and intermittently, incoming calls don't go through the car, and I have to pick up my phone, answer it, and then it goes through Bluetooth media. This is big oof to me. I have fully re-paired my phone once already.
• I challenge everyone else to give the car a voice command to navigate to an address with street number 5555. Dead serious here, go do it.

Updates to the good stuff, and comments on things that have been solved

• My TCAM issues were never debilitating, but they seem to have completely disappeared over the past few updates.
• They enhanced the charging curve, and I've only fast charged a couple of times since the update. It's not blazing fast but much easier to take advantage of our 30mins free charging.
• I've gotten used to the 1PD, it's fine.
• We have plenty of in-car entertainment options now.... I watched an hour of Top Gun: Maverick on Epix while stopping to charge twice during my Christmas commute. It worked fine and the screen serves well. That's it though, I haven't touched any of the games or YouTube yet.
• Customer service at Columbus during my first maintenance last week was much, much better than my experience ordering and taking delivery at Detroit. They were genuinely happy to have it and remarked that it was the first one they'd seen driven so much, despite seeing 40+ per month from as far away as St. Louis since opening in October. They even comped me an alignment check which I was perfectly willing to pay for.
• Alright, I downright love how the car is balanced and handles. It floats like a 5000 pound feather. I will say, I have done some spirited driving, and if you plan on doing a lot... Get the performance pack. Not for the reason you're thinking of. It really needs those bigger brakes. The car luckily doesn't push my limits, but you can easily go right off the road taking a twisty too fast downhill. I know because I almost did. I was doing 60, heh... The only time I've had this issue.
• I have a second set of wheels with winter tires, and change them myself. Despite that and also our absolutely disastrous roads, the alignment was still in spec and the suspension looks great.
• The new range assistant app is GREAT! I leave the instrument panel on standard so I don't have to worry about going too far, but I typically was getting numbers indicating 20-30 miles more than EPA. The new app generally concurs with this (I do a lot of city driving, probably around 70%).
• Speaking of the range, anyone owner can tell you that the efficiency is much better than anyone expected. At the start of this year, I began including my efficiency number in my Uber log when I get home. Nothing fancy, just the number and some basic calculations. As of tonight, I have 5628.2 miles and an average efficiency of 27.29kw/100mi. It should drop through the summer - I've been getting between 22 and 25 the past month. The highest was 35.1 over the course of 47.8 miles. I remember quitting early that night because the weather was getting real bad - freezing rain.
• The worst nights, as I recall, were very cold but also wet. Just the heater isn't too bad, but I blame the dehumidifier for the uptick in consumption. Which is fine because it's a genius feature that I don't think I can live without now. Note that I always precondition with a timer if the weather is below 50F or above 80F. You would be surprised how much of a difference it makes, especially if you aren't going far. If it's cold, preconditioning and the heated seats/wheel are all I need until it gets under 40F.
• After figuring out Pilot Assist and what it is good at (and what it is not) I basically only use it on the highway for long-ish drives. This is not a knock against it, the system is great and seems to improve just a bit every time they try to update it. Phantom braking does exist but is not at all problematic. It has stopped freaking out when lanes split or you veer toward a ramp. This system was meant to encourage and reward good driving behavior by ASSISTING the PILOT. Do not abuse it.
• An update to my comment about the backseat. I had my 6'2" father test out the front AND rear passenger after I put the front seat in a reasonable position. He had no issues and has even ridden back there for a while with no complaint.
• The H&K sound system is fine for me. I'm a big metalhead so I don't need window shattering bass. A bit of work on the equalizer and it competes with the surround in my living room. The option to focus the sound came in handy when I wanted to listen to music but my niece wanted to watch cartoons during our family trip.
• The upholstery, is, in fact, very easy to clean. I also got the Tuxmats which are freakin' awesome. Seeing those was another first for the Columbus space and they really liked them, too.

TL;DR - I am still 110% satisfied after a year and almost 20,000 miles. Will absolutely look into another Polestar product as my next car. I think any other follow-up posts will be if something goes seriously wrong, or I hit 100,000 miles :).

I fucking downright hate myself. I'm at uni abroad, can't find any friends, cuz of my long ass depression everyone else is engaged in a shitton of activities and has a ton of topics to talk to with other ppl. I know cuz I listen to the conversations people have around me. Also language skills - people speak so damn fast ai just can't match it and get anyone's attention. My dating life is miserable and pathetic. I wish I've never been born because this kind of a strugle's been going on for years and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. I have a multidie of ideas how to improve my life but I doubt any would work. Anyone has any advice idk?

We adopted a 2-4 month old Aussie/Border mix yesterday. The guy who had them clearly didn’t care about this “accident litter” (as he called it) and can’t remember when they were born so I won’t know her real age until her vet visit on Friday.
She’s done great- not a single accident inside. However, I took her out, leashed, a few hours ago and my next door neighbors’ three dogs, a Spaniel, a little terrier, and a massive golden doodle came out to the back porch/yard area of our townhomes unleashed and ambushed the little puppy. It was a mess of dogs I got caught in, with her yelping miserably, the other dogs barking, and im just trying not to get bit because im not sure what went wrong entirely. I don’t think they bit or attacked her but it happened so fast I don’t remember.
No marks. The puppy bit me when she was yelping and I was trying to pick her up to get her out of their reach and made a puncture mark on my finger. She seems okay but now when we take her outside to potty she just sits and whines and won’t go. The front is all mostly driveway and gravel so she won’t go there.
What do I do to help her and keep on her track for housebreaking?

had my first day the other day as a tech in training and felt so lost. my coworkers that were "training" me did everything so fast and barely explained, then acted like i should already understand how to do it. people seem to be bothered when i ask them for help too.
my biggest fear right now is them forcing me to work the register when i don't really understand how the computer system works yet, and patients getting mad at me. i worked the register for a bit the other day and had to keep asking for help.
i knew this job was going to be a lot going into it, but now that i'm here i feel quite dumb. i'm planning to stick it out for at least a month though.

We adopted a 14 year old senior chihuahua chow chow mix in Jan. She was quiet, no issues, lovable. We were told she does get along with dogs but not cats. Only severe anxiety if we left the house to go anywhere other than that just a grandma pup.
Recently got an 8 year old chihuahua mix who was rescued from a breeding situation. They mutually ignored each other unless there seemed to be food involved so we separated meal areas, greenies time, treats.. food sharing was obviously not ok and thats fine
But occasionally the older senior dog wil stilll pick fights with the younger one. She has initiated the fights 9 out of 10 times. Sometimes she growls if they are getting pets next to each other, bares her teeth and starts the fight. The younger one is definitely stronger and overpowers her immediately. We pull them apart within seconds, separate them in two rooms in isolation. Sometimes it's started if the other dog just walks near her or slightly brushes her. Today they both nicked each other. I'm very sad. Both are such lovely little babies but I can't figure out how to get the older one to stop starting fights. Comes out of nowhere sometimes, no provocation. Any advise?

Couple weeks back I had some time to kill out in PoCo and took my pup to the Shaughnessy Dog Park. It's fantastic; large, woodsy, lots of water for dogs to drink, seats for humans. Just really nice.
I live in Vancouver, however, and it's a bit of a drive just for a dog park. The ones near me - Olympic Village, Andy Livingstone, Broadway&St George - are basically just dirt lots.
Are there some hidden gems around Vancouver I should know about? I do need a fenced area because my dog will chase things like skateboarders, but she's pretty good if those kind of distractions can't be seen/heard from the park. (for reference, at in-laws in the woods and the dog beach near Vanier she can be off leash, at the city dog parks, probably not.)

I ordered food from a Chipotle like restaurant the other night. I arrived at the place 15 minutes before closing but they had locked the doors. I stood outside for like 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me but they all pretended not to see me. When I went back the next day and asked for a refund, the manager in charge made it seem like it was my fault even tho I told them multiple times there was no way for me to pick up my order.
So now the next time I go back I either plan to steal a meal or steal some money. I dont know how I’m going to do it, but I’m going to get my $35 back, one way or another.

In the fall, I had a series of strokes and was out of work for a long time while in the hospital and rehab recovering. Could not pay Dec, Jan, Feb rent. Landlord recommended me applying for a program called ERAP, which I did at her request. I am assuming that she thought that the application process would be short and she'd be reimbursed in a relatively timely manner. That didn't happen. By Feb, she opted to take me to magistrate. I appealed the judgment ordering possession in a supersedes motion in the local court house. I represented myself pro se with the help of staff at the court house. I reached a point where they were unable to help me any longer as they never had anyone to this far in the process. Meanwhile, I'm still not back at work full time, but am paying the prothonatarys office the monthly rental amount of $1600, which is literally all I had. Fast forward until today...I contacted the ERAP reps who informed me that my landlord was compensated 17k for those 3 months I was behind as well as for the months of March-August? So, I've been paying her and she's already received payment, meanwhile I'm worried sick that I'll be evicted and have nothing to eat?? I have THREE KIDS! I work hard! Now, here's the thing... If i do not pay the prothonatarys office the monthly rental amount of $1600, my appeal will be dismissed without a judge seeing my case. BUT, all of my money is going to pay the prothonatarys office which means I have zero money to save to move. And, believe me, I'm on a month to month lease so she's going to have me out one way or the other. I have never had any past landlord issues. I do not want prospective landlords to think I'm a renter that doesn't take the responsibility of paying on time seriously. Does anyone have any advice? I've tried the Pa Bar. I do not want prospective landlords to think I'm a renter that doesn't take the responsibility of paying on time seriously. Does anyone have any advice? I've tried the Pa Bar. I've tried Mid Penn legal. All the attorneys that I call will either 1. Only represent the landlords in these cases or 2. Want $500 just to speak to me. I just don't know what to do and I suppose I'm a bit desperate here. Anyways, thanks for reading!

Alright will let me start off by saying this is my first time using reddit, so be gentle.
Bit of a back story:
My union has been on strike for some time now and it doesn't look like it going to end any time soon. Im the bread winner in this multi-generational family (Mother, my Niece and, myself) I work in a gig based field which there is 0 going on so I need to supplement my income.
I bought a few Ender3 v2 3D printers last year and decided its time to learn how to use them and try to make some money.
I spent the last 2 months coming up with a concept(s) to sell things work related. I have a set(s) of items that are all compatible with each other. There are 3 sets in total and they are not compatible with each other, I intend to slowly post new items of the set spread out. then change sets and repeat. I posted a few Pices to the first set online and instantly had 8 orders and a ton of request for other things. the problem is these printers are extremely slow and not very reliable.
After some thought I opened a LLC. for a few reasons,

1. If I'm going to do this full time for a few months I want to do it right and by the book.
2. To learn how an actual small business is ran.
3. Write offs
4. Establish now so I can use it in 2 years time to help buy a house for us.
   
5. get on top of my finances

I have printers that are not fast enough.
I have orders to fill
Just got my LLC

-----Grants for new businesses.
------What credit cards do you recommend.
------now that I have a LLC what can that help me with?

In 2021 i bought an old house that the back of it connects to an alley where a lot of people park their cars. I removed a section of my fence that blocked my yard from the alley to make room for things like a dumpster and equipment while i was doing work on the house, also the fence was already half collapsed. I removed the posts of the fence by just taking a sawzall to it so there are still a couple jagged nubs of them along the fence line. Fast forward to this year, fence is still down, nubs are still there, and since theres no fence people have taken that as a sign that its okay to park in my yard for some reason. I consistently ask people to not park and have put up a sign thats private property no parking. Well i guess a neighbor fucked his wheel up on one of my fence nubs and his trying to make me pay for it. Am i liable for someone damaging their vehicle on my property when they shouldnt be there to begin with?
