Science fair ideas for 8th grade

I chose Agnes as my investigator, playing true solo on easy. I fear I may have rushed through building my deck because I later realized I didn't take any neutral cards, i.e. staple skill cards. But I figured I had enough other useful cards to help shore up Agnes's weaknesses. For combat, I had Shrivelling and Dragon Pole, and some spells and survivor cards to help with finding clues.
Lost Moorings: I don't remember too much about this one other than it wasn't too difficult even though I didn't get quite everything at the end. I really liked the concept of the creature that grabs you and tries to drag you back into the water. It actually saved me a move action at one point so I couldn't complain. I do remember being pretty confused after I came across the first non-Euclidean location. I understood what the key word was saying but couldn't quite figure out why it was making me put clues on the card from the token pool just to read an interlude entry. I think this location needs to be reworked or better worded to explain what's going on. If it's just to introduce players to the non-Euclidean mechanic, I think there's better ways to go about it.
Going Twice: This is where I started having problems. I chose to find another way inside and managed to get a couple of the auction items fairly easily. However I wasn't paying attention to the act deck and advanced it well after acquiring all the clues I needed. This cost me at least a couple of rounds. I got swarmed by enemies after acquiring the maguffin and ended with a point of physical trauma. What little experience I earned I spent on 2 each of Divination and Earthly Serenity to make me slightly better at finding clues and dealing with damage.
Private Lives: This one went okay? I got a slow start without any means to reliably find clues. I spent most of the time wacking enemies which seemed to spawn almost every round. I accidentally spawned the wrong Tick Tock Men after the agenda advanced, but after reviewing both of them I don't think it would have made much of a difference. I dealt with them in a single round and moved on. Doom kept building up on the agenda and I managed to find three out of the five objectives before resigning at the entrance.
Crumbling Masonry: Got a good start on this one, with Divination in my starting hand. I snatched up the clue and got Luther on my side and proceeded to snatch up several more clues pretty quick. I took out two of the three traitors pretty quick, but got bogged down towards the end and was forced to resign or risk dooming out. Luther survived so there's that.
Across Dreadful Waters: This one came down to the wire in a couple of spots, but I ended up walking away with a fair amount of experience and a good resolution. The Cult Ambushers were particularly difficult because I waited 'til the last minute to go into their location and it took some careful move planning to take them out. Contrarily, for the next stop/act I just sat and waited for the Deep One Mob to show up at my location and burned a round bludgeoning them to death with my Dragon Pole. An upgraded Peter Sylvester made the last location less harrowing, letting him heal a horror every round. Still, by the end there was barely 1 move to spare and I didn't exactly waste a lot of time putting clues on the act. If I was playing an investigator that couldn't readily handle both combat and investigating, this scenario would probably end in failure at the very end. Regardless, I'll take whatever wins I can get.
At this point I feel like I'm just barely doing bad enough to stay under the enemy radar. I'm not earning quite enough experience/notice to add any countermeasures into the scenarios, which I guess means I'm doing well? I guess we'll see.
Blood From Stones: Got a slow start. The first agenda advanced before I had gotten many clues on the story cards. I killed the Barrier Architect easily enough, then the pace started slowly picking up. Shortly after the second agenda advanced, I managed to seal two tablets with a single action. The third was surprisingly easy to get with some of the location effects. I may have had time to get another victory point on a location card, but I didn't want to risk it. Overall I'd say this scenario is desceptively easy. It sets you up at the beginning with what seem like complicated tasks, and then as you explore you find easier ways to deal with them.
I don't want to single Cyclopean Foundations out for this (because this is a reoccurring issue when it comes to true-solo) but there just doesn't seem to be enough actions in any given scenario to reliably comlete your objectives. Wasting even a single round on dealing with a test can lead to failing the scenario or missing out on a significant amount of experience. CF has sort of shined a spotlight on this issue, so it inspired me to make a houserule for true-solo. I won't go into too much detail here because it's a little complex, but on average it gives me an extra round per agenda.
Pyroclastic Flow: Everything here went pretty smooth right up 'til the end. For the first part I had the right cards at the right time to deal with every test. The second part was a little more complicated, but I was still making regular progress getting one clue per round. It wasn't until the Spawn of Cthulhu... um... spawned that I had trouble. One of the traitors was still alive so I had to deal with him as well. This distracted me from getting clues and I didn't realize the ability on the central location until it was too late. Even with the new houserule, I didn't have enough time to complete the final objective. But I chalk this up to my own inexperience and will probably have an easier time when next I play this.
Still, I got a decent amount of experience and 1 mental trauma for Agnes isn't a big deal. I'm spending it all on upgrading both Divinations. I haven't seen really any locations with more than two clues on them, but having extra resources on Divination to deal with more locations will probably help with getting through the last scenario. This is where the campaign throws me a curve ball and says I can't use assets to gather clues or something.
Tomb of Dead Dreams: Well I guess I can sum this up as a glorious convoluted mess of a scenario. It will definitely warp your mind trying to make sense and keep track of all of the mechanics in play.
I got a pretty slow start to begin with. I didn't draw any of my clue finding tools at the start and burned a couple of rounds fruitlessly trying to draw for them. Eventually I was forced to make do with what little I had, which consisted of a single Look What I Found! I spent it getting the first clue to at least open up a couple of locations, which I came to find had the same shroud value as the first. Having to use my 2 investigate on multiple 3 shroud locations was not my idea of a good time.
Finally I drew a Divination and thing soon got back on track. With enemies spawning and being dispatched seemingly every round and granting me a clue each time, I soon revealed enough locations to advance the act. Cthulhu was already breaking through reality at this point, but I was testing with a willpower of 9+ each round to evade him, so he wasn't too much trouble.
What was giving me trouble were the weaknesses I drew. Dark Memory sat in my hand throughout the rest of the scenario, and I was having to find creative spots to dump horror on. Peter Sylvestre helped out here quite a bit.
When I managed to reach the pillars, level 4 Divination made short work of them. Turns out I chose wisely when upgrading those. Even with enemies spawning every round and having to constantly evade Cthulhu, I somehow managed to take each of them out relatively quickly, netting me a win for both the scenario and the campaign.
Wrapping up the epilogue, I earned a total of 11 notice. Not once did this ever get high enough for me to see the countermeasure mechanic. And somehow, even after botching at least two of the scenarios and barely breaking even in several others, I managed to get what appears to be the best ending.
Final thoughts: Any critiques I have are minor and mostly revolve around the limitations of true-solo so I'll try to avoid mentioning those. Things that stuck out to me, most of the enemies I encountered were either hunters or enemies that were too much of a threat to leave on the board. While thematically appropriate, this makes me wonder if investigators that rely on avoiding enemies would be able to last for very long.
I also don't recall there being very many locations with more than 1 clue on them. With many of my cards geared towards finding multiple clues at once, this slowed things down a bit.
Out of Murkey Darkness is a treachery that popped up quite often, but it never actually had any effect. All of the deep one and hybrid enemies spawned right on top of me and evading them was never really much of an option so I just took them out then and there. So multiple times I just let this (sometimes two of them) sit in my threat area since it wasn't really doing anything.
Overall, this is a fantastic campaign, at least on par with the official ones. I plan on going through it again and probably make this one of my regular go-tos. Next time I want to try to see how a seeker manages. I'm thinking either Daisy or Norman.

These notes are not edited beyond some grammatical errors corrected and some questions that I asked that were answered on the next few pages. These are my raw reactions to events as I was reading.
Note- there are some scenes that were skipped because I was too involved in actually reading the book to record my thoughts on them. Most notably, the scene where Uzuki and Sakuta ride bikes together.
Chapter 1

• So we finally get to see Sakuta in college and he’s at a bar of some sort. It’s a mixer for one of his general classes, so he doesn’t really know anyone here.
• Of course he’s all alone, but he did have an acquaintance (Takumi Fukuyama) from his major (statistical science) sit with him for a bit before he went flirting.
• Who’s this girl? Never heard of her before. Miori Mitou. She’s a different major, so I don’t think she’ll appear too often after this. She also has no phone, like kindred spirits I suppose.
• He’s rather famous himself, it seems. Dating a celebrity will do that.
• She also mentions adolescence syndrome. What does she know about it? Has she experienced it herself?
• Looks like it’s been a year and a half since volume 9, and nothing of note has happened since? Sakuta was too busy studying to notice I guess.
• Sakuta has a job as a tutor, that’s kinda surprising for someone who doesn’t like to study. He has two students: 1 guy (Kento Yamada) and 1 girl (Juri Yoshiwa) who both go to Minegahara. The girl is taking this seriously while the guy only chose Sakuta to get girl advice. He’s not shy about saying what he wants either. He’s a little too honest I think.
• Futaba’s also tutoring at the same cram school. I wasn’t sure if we’d ever see her again after high school.
• Kento was a little too loud and she overheard. There’s also another teacher that tried to get with a student. What a terrible idea. Her name is Sara Himeji. Apparently Kento has a crush on her.
• Sakuta hasn’t seen Mai for a month? Damn that’s quite a long time to be away. I guess that’s what being in showbiz gets you. Hopefully she comes back soon.
• Kunimi passed his firefighter training! Good for him. Plus he’s got a job lined up. It’s perfect job for him I think.
• Mai came back earlier than expected! Yay!
• Kaede got a job at the same restaurant that Sakuta works at. I’m both surprised and at the same time not. Surprised that she got a job and not surprised it’s at the same restaurant.
• Seriously, Sakuta, if Kaede has a phone, you should too.
• Any Sakuta/Mai interaction is great, and this is no different. Too bad it didn’t last longer. Also the agency is getting on their case about being together in public. Such a shame.
• Ikumi Akagi, Sakuta’s former classmate in middle school. I know she comes up later based on the synopsis for volume 11, so I guess we’ll see where she factors into the story for now.
• It seems that people thought Sakuta took Miori home, when that wasn’t the case. He wouldn’t be stupid enough to do something like that.
• Who is this Touko Kirishima person? Seems like an internet musician that doesn’t show her face, adding to the mysterious aura around her. There’s a rumor that it’s Mai, but it’s definitely not her. If it was, she’d be open about it.
• So Sakuta picked Spanish as his foreign language elective, huh? Maybe it’s a little easier to learn than English.
• Miori is attached to Sakuta for some reason. I hope it’s not for nefarious purposes.
• Miori’s got a bit of an ego. It might be misplaced, but I can’t say for certain until I know a little more about her.
• Finally we get Uzuki, the titular character, a quarter of the way into the book. Took long enough.
• Sweet Bullet might break up??? This can’t be happening! They’ve lost two members, but there’s still five! There’s still an opportunity here!
• Uzuki going solo? She’s got the appeal for sure. I could see her doing well as a solo act. She is the lead, after all
• “Only a dumbass would talk to you,” says the dumbass talking to him.
• It’s clear that Nodoka values the work that all the members of Sweet Bullet did together and doesn’t want it to end. Now that their future is under threat, she’s at a crossroads where she doesn’t know what to do next. It was only a matter of time before this sort of thing happened.

Chapter 2

• Uzuki being able to read the situation? It’s out of character, so this seems to start the plot for the volume. Probably has something to do with the possible breakup of Sweet Bullet.
• I’m taking a liking to Takumi. He just says whatever’s on his mind.
• Imagine someone acting like a normal person being cause for concern. It is odd for Uzuki though.
• Nodoka being stunned at Uzuki having a chill conversation about a serious situation makes sense. Going from a total airhead to someone that can read the room is quite the shift, especially if it happens overnight.
• At least Nodoka and the others managed to sort out their differences for now. I fear that it won’t last that way for long though.
• Holy shit! Mai in twin tails! Also Miori’s there; I wonder what she wants.
• Oh, she’s in one of Mai’s classes. No biggie then.
• So Miori’s a big fan of Mai. I’m sure she means no harm, but I feel like I’ve seen this before, but in a different series.
• Futaba has started wearing makeup. That’s a surprise. Not necessarily a bad thing though.
• So the syndrome affect Uzuki, but not because of her own insecurities, but the insecurities of her friend group. Interesting. A similar thing happened with Mai, except instead of disappearing completely, her personality disappeared. Such a weird phenomenon.
• Tomoe’s growing out her hair. I like it better short tbh.
• So Uzuki is Touko Kirishima, or at least a front. What an interesting twist.
• I love that Kaede is a big fan of Uzuki and Sweet Bullet. Just something about it makes me smile.
• Uzuki’s starting to get big as a solo act. I wonder if this could possibly break up the group organically.
• Well this just got kinda sad, as this series typically does. Uzuki finally realizes that she was being made fun of for years and never realized it. Her newfound ability to read the room has given her a perspective that she never had before, and now she’s coming to grips with that fact. I wonder if she’ll change her behavior when or if this problem resolves.

Chapter 3

• The dichotomy between Juri and Kento is rather striking. Kento strikes me as similar to Uzuki before she changed— not really paying attention to his surroundings and just saying whatever’s on his mind. I’m sure it’ll come up later as well.
• Tomoe can be rather cynical at times. She’s got a point though: no one cares about an entertainer unless they’re entertained by them or they get famous.
• So Sara is looking for a math tutor? I think I know where this is going.
• “If you really want to understand the math, I’d say Futaba-sensei’s better. She’s mostly physics but does math, too. If you just wanna pass the tests, I’m more your speed.” Gotta admire the honesty in that self-assessment.
• Uzuki’s getting very popular now. Hopefully it brings attention to the group more. I don’t want to see them break up just yet.
• Rumors are circulating about Uzuki leavening the group. This is not good.
• Uzuki seemed out of it at a rehearsal, so maybe those rumors have some truth to them. She’s also skipping school for a day, so maybe it’s a sign of some form of depression?
• So she doesn’t think the group is good enough to play in the Budokan. That’s a realization that really hurts.
• Uzuki’s newfound people skills have made her realize that she isn’t the same person she used to be and that she’ll never be able to go back to that. There’s a certain amount of sadness in that, but, at the same time, there are so many new opportunities that open up because of it.
• Might be some drama going down at the concert. Who knows what will happen? My guess is the announcement that Uzuki goes solo.

Chapter 4

• So Mai can drive, huh? It’ll make getting around a lot easier for sure
• Uzuki’s voice dies during the concert. This has got to be part of adolescence syndrome. She must’ve known about this for a while as well.
• So it’s come out now that Uzuki was offered a solo career, but turned it down. Im guessing it’s because she still wants Sweet Bullet to play the Budokan, but without her voice, that would make it impossible.
• So the remaining members are banding together to finish what they started. With the concert the next day, they should be able to perform well. Uzuki has quite the presence, though, so without her, it might be difficult to keep the same kind of energy going. Losing the center is hard, but coming together for the sake of the center is what helps strengthen the bonds of the group.
• Uzuki lied about losing her voice. I know it is so that they could prove to her that they could do a show without her, but I find it rather odd. It suggests that she already has a solo project in the works and has decided to leave the group. If that’s true, that’s heartbreaking.
• Holy shit that moment where they all came together to sing as one. Awesome, just awesome.

Chapter 5

• So Uzuki dropped out of college, started her solo career, and stayed a member of Sweet Bullet? Good news all around.
• Touko Kirishima finally shows her face. It seems like she has the ability to give people adolescence syndrome as well? Seriously, who is this person?

Overall, I enjoyed reading this volume. It’s rather low stakes for the most part as it mostly sets up stuff for later in the story.

I’m 18. Chronic dysphoria that makes my existence fairly miserable, don’t get me wrong, I love life and I’m thankful for what I have and whatnot but I need to medically transition. However my doctors aren’t sure if that’s a good idea. Surgeries would be fine most likely but the issue would be HRT. I’m on multiple psychiatric medications and medication for my pain (I have Ehlers Danlos) and those medications are rather hard on the liver. My psychiatrist even has me get regular blood work to keep track of my liver function. My doctors said maybe testosterone wouldn’t be a good idea because of that and if I do go on it I would need more monitoring and I’d be at a significantly higher risk for liver damage. I pass well enough in person I think (I’d like a second opinion from a fellow transsexual though if anyone would be comfortable with that) the main issue is my voice. That’s what makes me clockable. I need top surgery my upper dysphoria is crippling and I hate it, I know I’m likely gonna be able to handle that though and I’m happy about that. I’m diagnosed with dysphoria, I’ve gotten four opinions, each during various stages during my therapy on it so I know I’m not misdiagnosed, idk if that’s important. But I don’t know if I should take this risk, I don’t know what to do and I just feel lost. I want to be a man, I want to be able to grow facial hair, I want a deep voice and I’m just sad I may not be able to have that. I’m willing to do a lot for my transition but I sure as shit don’t want my liver ruined. And then that sends me into yet another spiral because that makes me feel like I’m not serious about transitioning and I just feel like a tucute idiot that’s tricked myself into thinking I’m dysphoric. It’s horrible. Has anyone gone though this? What do I do. I’ve been weighing my options for about six months now.

I got my gun (Valken ASL+ kilo 45) and it started shooting like someone turned the hopup or gun upside down. Instead of shooting with an upward arc it’s shooting on a downward arc, i’m fairly new to airsoft so i have little idea of what could be wrong. And I know valken isn’t a really good brand but i got the gun for 70 bucks on ebay and i’m tight on money and i had played with it before and it wasn’t doing that so i’m not sure if it banged around to much an the car or something. Any help would be cool 👍

A while back, 3 years ago as far as I can see, it was reported that the ZB-1011 extract on Customs was bugged, and sitting in extract would not bring the extraction timer up, and waiting in the zone did not work. Some people denied it, but others presented work arounds for the issue which had worked for them when it didn't extract, proving that this was in fact an issue that was being experienced at least occasionally. So I come back to this game after a couple years and I do the quest for the bronze pocket watch. The key is a one time use item, so I break my key opening the truck, I kill a sniper scav on my way to ZB-1011 because gas station isn't open, and finally I open the door, run down the stairs, and wait by the light.
No timer. I sit and wait, thinking surely it will work. Nope, never works, but somehow despite being perfectly still, not tagged and cursed, and completely underground in an area where the only scav spawn is pretty far away so it's unlikely that a scav just happened to roam and pick me up; a sniper scav manages to find its way under ZB-1011 and just annihilates me because they're completely hidden in the dark ass corridor. I managed to get some hits on it with my MP-155 and grizzley ammo, 3 hits it to be exact, (4 shots 1 missed). This scav had no armor, no reason to even be in the area it was in, no indication that I was even there, and killed me in a broken extract that I should've been extracted from half a minute ago, oh and yeah my machinery key is broken so time to bang my head into the 3 story dorms again.
The game has a reputation for being unforgiving, but this isn't even that. It's just plain busted at times. Anyways, they need to fix that extract, it's been 3 years and it still doesn't work. This isn't a graphical bug or an item not registering as being there when you try to pick it up, this is an extract, a vital component of the game and the only trust that a player has in this game, if we can't trust extracts then everything else flies out the window. It doesn't matter how much you trust the sound, the idea that everyone is playing fairly and not cheating, the ballistics, if you can't rely on an extract working properly then everything else is just background noise.
Also I posted a pic of the combat report just so you can see, because I have a hard time believing that this armorless sniper scav just ate 3 grizzleys.

Dear friend,
Being the man I am today, looking back it seems a lot of things went by quickly and what left is hopeless dreams they were never mine.
I was named after the main character of the classic novel "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer " by Mark Twain . It was my father's favorite book and Tom was his ideal boyhood and so he named me Tom so I could live the crazy childhood that he could not.
But it was just another fiction dream like others, father thought it was all impractical and in between that childhood grew out of me and soon I was to be the men. To be fair I had an amazing childhood except I never enjoyed the act of obeying.
The act of obeying by being this silent kid with perfectly combed hair and nice clothes and with a rather respectful smile while they shove their prejudice way of being and I kept smiling so they would let me be sane.
In my adolescence the world was like an abyss of asylums and as Friedrich Nietzsche said “Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.”
And then comes the act of falling in love, having read too much of the Romantics it was all extravagant to think about the idea of falling in love.
I read this essay from a french author he said that the phrase 'Falling in love' itself itself justifies that something of you, a part of you has to fall to be in love. There is no rising in love as such, its all about falling and when I talk about falling its not loss or some degradation of love, its a quality of just becoming less self preservative.
And with love comes waiting, waiting for whom the reader may ask? no one in particular , with love comes waiting is the rule and when I keep saying the word 'Love', I don't mean just the love between a men and women. It is rather about absence of corruption and hatred, its more about presence of innocence. But I think like others I am just trying to be a little different with words so I could appear noble.
And about work, I never had any particular interest in anything at all, I lacked competence. It's more like what J krishnamurti said " You see sir you will be doing a job, sitting in an office for the next 50 years of life, so much misery, I feel like weeping for you but weeping for you is no good, you understand sir?".
Looking back all this time has passed and all I did was act, a portrayal to please other or to obey, to be part of this insane society.
That all this time has passed away, it all seemed like a drama where I was the main character but I never moved, I just stood there waiting for something to happen. Waiting that someone will come along and they'll tell me "This is it".
And as the drama is about to be over now and there is no revival. Its rather unpleasant to not notice beauty where it's due.
I have missed it, all of it, I think everyone does, very few would would get it I guess. What do I know anyway? What do they know anyway?
I am too old to dream anymore, 80 years is along time but seemed too less as I am running out of time. All I have is hope that is left, but I rather like to not have it. Hope is for tomorrow and there is no tomorrow. I have always hoped good things for all my whole life and so I never truly lived at all, I just kept hoping and kept feeding lies to the self.
What is needed is not hope but rather something radical, something that is alive. And this is why I am writing this letter for you. Don't be fooled that this life will last long enough to be redeemed, that a miniscule of second can end the believed eternity, So all I want is all of you to be well, to live without any sense of prejudice, to look at everything with awe and to sing your own song in the abyss of the same old melodies.
I think its my time to put the pen down, I wish I would have more to say but there is really no one to show you the light. You have to be a light to yourself.
It seems that it is all for me, I am glad that I got to see the cherry blossoms this spring and the damn summer is coming, Alas I won't have to face it.

M x F Trying to get back into RP after a long absence take four. (But who is counting)
Hello, Baka Tiger here again. I am 40 male, (changing that from a 39 just hurt my soul a little more) and returning to RP after a long absence. I enjoy sci/fi, fantasy, SoL, historical RP, and Cyberpunk, but up to playing anything that sounds interesting. I am a bit of a geek so I may know your fandom, pitch me your idea. looking for 21+ (sorry 18-20, it just never works out) Semi-lit or better preferred, posting in 3rd person past tense on Discord. I post when I can, but try for a post or two each day. I don't have anything in mind currently, so if you have a concept you would like to try out I am willing to give it a go. I have a ton of free time while I work on a project. I can respond fairly quickly at the moment.
I am easy going and wouldn't mind a little OOC from time to time to help direct the story and get to know one another. Ideally you are also friendly and enjoy some banter. I am an old soul looking for some adventures, let's make something together.

I understand this is more of an art than science, but looking for some general good ideas to use as a base. I could use guidance on how to pair fats and proteins with carbs to minimize spikes. Also trying to understand how to use my pump in different ways to cover simple carbs, complex carbs, fats and proteins. The total macros/calories I have for a sample day are:

It looks like I need more calories and likely more protein. Any ideas on what to add or change? Primary goal is to stabilize blood sugar, weight loss would be nice as it would likely reduce my insulin usage and increase insulin sensitivity.

Hi guys. My esperience so far in Monster Hunter are quite good. I loved MHGU, MHP3rd, MHFU and MHWI. I played a lot every single title, with the most hour on iceborne, for a 1.2k total. I appreciated so much rise on the First periodo of the release, and even more sunbreak until TU3.
Now, im just so mad at the game that im thinking to leave It after 240h and basically not even my main set maxed (DB). The problem are:

• No sense augument system. I have to farm and insane amount of resource to just try to get one good skill, even skill set that bind this RNG loop to the research of only few very specific skill. I think they could just let us choice which kind of augument we wanted (skill augument for example), and a group division of the augument in tier. Much more the tier is High, much more the cost. The skill granted from the tier selected will be random. In this way i can at least reduce the RNG to a fairly amount of try.
  
• The anomaly. I cant stun a Monster ? I have to play only with counter to survive the esponential speed, DMG and HP increase that kills my skill?! Who the hell come up with those idea on a Monster Hunter games. Why the fuck i have to kill a 120k HP Monster that i have to farm multiple times to get all the things i need to get better, in a way that is even not granted. There are a shit tons of anomaly materiale to get in order to only improve the weapon, not to mention the amber needed tò farm augument that are more than necessary, u Just cant play without.
  
• Besides the other games, skill counts basically 0. If even with my end game equipe (i have an almost perfect berserk set at lvl 250 of anomaly) a Monster can shot me easily for one distraction, this become a punishing playstile, not an hard playstile. Hard fight were fatalis, alatreon, and so on. If i have to farm lot of different Monster in order to get different material, its okay to get them to become a Little more challenging, but i cant stand a kulu ya ku with 80k HP. Its just dont make sense for me.
  
• I have to hope to not misjudge one movement of any 6 star monster and above because the situation becomes: i take the DMG, i try to back up, the stupidly High Speed of the Monster keep it at my back and its done, another hit and thats a GG. and this is not for the risen fucking shagaru magala, but EVERY MONS.

So let me explain, yes, I know its not fair to judge a movie I haven't seen yet and as the title said, I do believe Ayer's original version was most likely much better than what we got but still not a good suicide squad adaptation. The reason why I am confident in saying this is the fact that some of the info I have heard regarding the movie are things explaining the key aspects of the suicide squad such as the morality and the relationships between the squad members, these aspects are very important to the suicide squad that those alone explain to me how they were going to be adapted.
The morality of the Squad: I remember in the first SDCC panel regarding the film that David Ayer explained how this movie was showcasing "Bad vs. Evil" this to me sounds like a shallow understanding of the morality within suicide squad. The squad isn't a team of villains fighting evil, what made Ostrander's original run interesting is that the morality was morally ambiguous. There was never a clear character to root for, sometimes you even agreed with the antagonists of the stories, sometimes you completely agreed with a character in one story and another time, you completely disagreed with their actions. Even when those characters did something you disagreed with, you still were able to empathize with their decisions and understand them. While I am not against the idea of the squad going against an antagonist who is truly evil, I find it much more interesting to see them go against someone who is more complicated. That also goes with my concern of having the Joker as the supposed antagonist of the original cut. If this is true then it feels weird to have a character as morally unambiguous as the Joker for a team that was known for its moral ambiguity. That also brings me to the team itself.
One thing about the suicide squad members is that not all of them had "good" qualities. While there were members who showcased a sense of morality, there were many others who showcased that they have no good morality. Even the ones who did have a morality, still weren't that sentimental despite their morals. Another thing that showcased their lack of sentimentality was the dynamic between the characters which brings me on to my next point about their relationships with the members.
The Relationships: The relationships of the squad members was unlike any other superhero team at the time because these were characters who were in it for themselves. They weren't a family. Now let me clarify, that there were squad members who did form bonds with one another and I am not against that idea of developing that between the characters, my point is that it they don't become this large family like other superhero teams, their dynamic was much more unique in that they were still vouching for themselves. Now I don't know whether or not Ayer's original idea for their dynamic was different from the one we got but unless I hear something else, it sounded like the idea for the team dynamic was the same from both versions.
Like I said, I am sure Ayer's original version is much better than the horribly edited disaster we got and I would love to see his version come out but I gotta say that I disagree with the idea that his version would have been the quintessential Suicide Squad adaptation as it seems like the key aspects that make the team unique and are integral to the squad were gonna be very different to one we got from the original Ostrander run which Ayer said was his biggest influence for the film.
I would like to hear your thoughts on this however.

I (16M) have had a crush on this girl (16F) for a few months now. We both attend Sunday school in our native language. We're not exactly from the same country but have fairly similar backgrounds. At first, when I started in September, I just thought she was pretty. But then, over the next few months it developed into a crush. I sit with her almost every lesson, not because I like her, but because it has turned into a soft seating plan. I do occassionally talk to her and she is really nice, friendly and has a really soothing voice. She is not exactly the most beautiful girl in the world but in my eyes she is quite perfect, she has beautiful hair, a pretty face and a slim figure. I do find myself fantasizing my life with her. At the moment, we have our final exams and our too occupied for revision and we both finish them in the middle of this month. After that we have no school but we still have Sunday school for another month. My idea was to one way or another tell her about my feelings towards her during this period. My ideal scenario is to hit it up within this time and then continue talking to her over the summer, we will see each other again in September. I honestly don't really know how to bring it up and I am worried of being percieved as a weirdo in that class if it goes wrong. I need advice on the best approach/build up. "Why all the 'B' words?" B was shown demonstrating his couch invention created from junk, "Because, B proved he was a brave and brilliant improviser who scored big time for his team!" B used an ice pick to poke holes onto a shard of ice and placed it on top of the castle, directing the sun beam towards the Maggots' base and melting it effectively. "Until his bitter teammate Scott allowed brainy Molly to botch it on purpose and B got the boot," Molly threw a snowball onto the shard, melting the castle and B was shown being flung into the night.
"And now," Chris said, popping up in front of a shot of the full moon in a cloudy sky with a lit candle in his hand, marking the end of the recap montage, "tonight's challenge is about fear." He made a devilish look. "And everyone knows fear is a dish best served, in the dark!" he said in an exaggeratedly spooky manner, an eerie sound playing as he laughed evilly. "Huh?" he stopped suddenly, the camera pulling back to reveal Chef standing next to him...dressed like a showgirl with lots of peacock feathers. "Chef!" the host said in annoyance.

The camera panned down to the cabins as the sound of snoring was added to the nighttime mix, and the scene cut inside to the girls' side of the Maggots' cabin where Anne Maria and Katie were sleeping peacefully in the bunk they shared. Dave and DJ were also shown sound asleep on the boys' side, and the scene cut to the Rat boys to show Geoff also sound asleep.
The camera cut next to show Sammy waking up with a yawn. She stretched her arms out for a few good seconds and fell right back to sleep...until the sudden shrill wail of a blow horn pierced the air.
"RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" Chris hollered from off-screen as the scene cut back outside, the blowhorn continuing even over the panicked shouts of the campers.
The camera briefly cut to a close-up of the blowhorn still blowing, then over to the Maggots' cabin as they ran outside fully dressed – first Katie screaming "What's happening?!"; then DJ just screaming; then Scarlett yelling out "This is unethical!"; then Anne Maria just hollering; and then finally Dave coming out, calling out "I'm wide awake!"
The Rats were shown next, Scott grunting "Me first!" as he shoved Geoff down the stairs and slid down the railing; Leshawna quickly running after him; Sammy screaming at the top of her lungs; and Trent coming out last at around the same time while screaming.
They assembled nervously in the common area between cabins, where Chris – wearing a pair of heavy earmuffs – finally eased up on the blowhorn. "Glad you all could make it," he grinned as he took off his headgear.
Molly soon arrived later. "Is there an attack or what?" she asked her teammates.
Katie shot her a quick glare. "Of course not, but why would you care about anything but yourself?"
Confessional: Molly
"Olay, yes," Molly moaned. "I left my teammates behind, but that was because I wanted to win the challenge first. I was always taught to focus on one thing before moving on to the next, and that's what I did." She grew concerned. "I don't see any problems with that."
Confessional Ends
"I hope you're all ready," Chris continued, "'cause it's challenge time!" He stepped to the side as Chef rolled up a large widescreen television on a wheeled cart. It was currently displaying an aerial map of the island with several additional colored icons – six bright green skulls scattered around the island; three yellowish envelopes over the campfire pit, the western edge of the campgrounds, and deeper into the forest; and a large purple spider in the middle of it all.
"We're gonna do a challenge?" Anne Maria wondered. "In the middle of the woods? At night?"
Confessional: Anne Maria
"Doesn't Chris know that we need our hours of sleep?" Anne Maria criticized. "I haven't even done my hair."
Confessional Ends
"Your challenge," Chris continued as though there'd been no interruption, "a scavenger hunt for three creepy souvenirs. Your locations? A haunted forest," he walked across to the other side of the television, "a scaaary pet cemetery, and an extra spooktastic cave. First team to each location gets a special clue," he said, the camera zooming in as he pointed towards the westernmost letter icon on the screen. "But watch out for booby traps," he added jovially as he moved his finger to one of the skulls, "I really went to town with them, heheh." The campers were shown watching warily.
"So move fast," the host added, "and stick together. You'll be penalized for each player you lose!"
"Umm, what's with the giant spider?" Sammy asked.
"Oh yeah," Chris answered as the shot zoomed in on the icon in question, "there's some kinda gigantic mutated spider sorta running around loose on the island."
The cast immediately started to voice their fears and protests.
"A huge, humongous spider is on the loose?!" DJ hugged Katie out of fear.
"I guess so," Katie said frightfully, but was secretly enjoying DJ hugging her.
The shot zoomed in on Dave in particular as he looked around, moaning "Oh no..." in annoyance.
Confessional: Dave
"Ever since I was a kid, I've never been a huge fan of spiders," Dave admitted. "They leave messy webs everywhere they go, and it takes me a long time to clean them up in places like my uncle's attic or my aunt's basement." A spider soon crawled down on a string. "This is gonna be unpopular, but I'm not a huge fan of Spider-Man because of my dislike of spiders." The spider hissed after hearing the criticism, making Dave flinch.
Confessional: Leshawna
"I may seem fearless on the outside, but spiders are one of the few things I'm terrified of," Leshawna said nervously. "Anything with eight legs is frightening enough."
Confessional Ends
"And since I want to keep things fair for both teams," Chris continued, "I decided to bring back an eliminated contestant for the Rats."
"It's so good to be back here!" the familiar voice of Sierra was heard, becoming more recognizable when she ran next to Chris.
"Sierra! I haven't introduced you yet!" Chris snapped at her.
"If I waited any longer, the episode would've been past the usual 22-minute runtime," Sierra explained. "I'll just go join the Toxic Rats and save you the trouble of doing so since I've rejoined."
Chris watched the fangirl run up to the contestants in annoyance. "Long story short, Sierra is the returnee." Chris regained his smile, and the dramatic and almost heroic tune started playing again. "There's nothing to fear but mortal terror itself! Talk soon," he added impishly, sounding his blowhorn once again.
The twelve campers ran off towards the woods.

The footage flashed ahead to another shot of the full moon over the forested hills of Wawanakwa, an owl hooting as the scene cut down to ground level. The logo of the Toxic Rats appeared in the corner of the screen just before the team itself did, running up and stopping in front of a tree with a loudspeaker set up in its branches.
"We're in first place! Sweet!" Geoff cheered just before the loudspeaker whined into activity.
"Welcome to the Haunted Forest!" Chris announced over it, the shot panning downward to show the six Rats gathering around a small crack in the ground. "Your clue can be found at the base of this tree!" Sierra reached into the hole...and screamed in pain as something metallic snapped inside the hole.
"Inside a bear trap," Chris finished his announcement with a laugh.
Sierra withdrew her hand from the hole, the trap clamped down firmly on her arm – though she was at least clutching a note in her hand. "Here! Read the clue," she said, passing it to a mildly shocked Sammy. Just as she was about to read it, the sound of approaching footsteps distracted her and her teammates.
"Bad news guys," Anne Maria commented from the six Maggots. "They have the clue."
"Even with a team advantage they still managed to beat us," Katie reminded them.
"We can let the opposing team have their clue," Scarlett said, looking back towards her teammates. "I have another plan," she said, running ahead with her teammates in tow.

The shot cut to the Maggots as they stopped at a clearing further along the trail. "So what's the plan?" Katie asked the girl in front.
"Find a place to hide so we can follow the Rats and their clue to our first souvenir," Scarlett answered. "Into that bush!"
The Maggots dived and painfully tried to hide in a thorn bush.
"Be quiet," Dave hissed, "They're coming."
"Inside a knot is a nest," Sammy read as the scene cut to the Rats. "Your souvenir lives with a pest. Find Polaris to travel northwest? Polaris is the North Star."
"The North Star is right there, so this way's northwest! There's a path!" Trent declared. He ran off, the rest of his teammates following suit.
"Now we follow!" Scarlett declared as the rest of her teammates came out of the bush.

The Rats' logo reappeared as the footage skipped ahead again to them running along through the woods.
"Inside a knot is a nest," Geoff muttered to himself as the shot zoomed in on him. "Hey Sammy, what was the rest of that poem again?" he called back without taking his eyes off the path ahead.
When he didn't get an answer he immediately skidded to a stop. "Sammy?!" he yelled in rising panic, and looked back to see nobody behind him.
The shot cut back to show that the rest of the Rats had stopped in their tracks. "What? Did we lose the mouse?" Scott asked.
Geoff gulped. "We get a penalty for each player we lose, right?" he asked nervously.
"And there's a spider crawling around, right?!" Leshawna said in panic. The shot cut outward as he did so, showing a large purple spider crawling down through the shadows of the forest trees.
"We're looking for a knot with a nest, right?" Scott looked off to the right; the camera quick-panned over to a large tree with a noticeable hollow knot in the trunk with the hints of a nest inside; a few green and red marks had been spray-painted on the bark under it.
"There it is!" Leshawna said, immediately rushing towards it.
"But what about Sammy?" Trent asked his team.
"We'll look for her after we get the souvenir," Sierra assured him.
Leshawna started climbing up the trunk as the rest of her team ran up to join her, and soon began to root through the tree hollow with one arm.
Suddenly, a large eye opened up inside the hollow and stared directly at Leshawna. She screamed, and several squid-like tentacles reached out of the tree's other hollows. One quickly grabbed her around the neck and held her up, while another gave her a few wet slaps then poked her in the eye.
"My eye!" Leshawna yelped in pain and terror. In response the tentacle tightened its grip, and Leshawna began to choke.
"What do we do!?" Sierra yelled in panic.
Geoff looked around, then bent down and picked up a handful of small rocks. "We can throw these stones at the octo guy!"
"Good idea!" Scott said as he and his team picked up rocks of their own and began throwing them at the creature, but they seemed to be hitting Leshawna more than the mutant squid-tree monster. Eventually, the thing just raised its captive up even higher, then slammed her down onto the ground and hissed at the others.
"RUN!" Geoff shouted, turning to flee as a tentacle shot towards them, forcing them to scatter.
Unfortunately, Trent was unable to get away in time and was lifted up by the leg. Trent cried in pain as the mutant began to punch him in the stomach with a curled-up tentacle.
The sounds of pain and wet punches caused Leshawna to get frustrated. "No way am I gonna get pushed around or let a squid attack my teammates!" she declared, getting back on her feet and climbing up the tree-squid's trunk while it was distracted. "Quit buggin' us!" she cried as she punched the mutant in the eye.
The beast bellowed in pain, dropping Trent and retracting into its tree. As soon as he got back up, a strand of spider's webbing shot down from above, sticking on to his head and pulling him away from the floor.
Leshawna reached into the knot once again, quickly and triumphantly pulling out a brass key. "And that's how I roll!" she called down to her teammates.
She dropped down to the forest floor, and landed in front of Geoff, who grinned when he saw it. "We got the key, Trent." Geoff received no response as Scott rejoined.
"Trent?!" Leshawna yelled out in concern. "Where are you?!"
As she panicked, the shot changed to a perspective further away, and the footage switched to an infrared shot of the four Rats.
"Guess he's gone," Sierra sighed sadly. "On the plus side, we found the key."
"We lost two players!" Leshawna said. "Shouldn't we go and look for them?"
"Knowing Chris, he probably has them trapped someplace else, so I'm not too worried right now," Scott brushed it off.
"You've got a point there," Geoff agreed.
Just then, the six Maggots arrived on the scene.
Scott was the first to notice them. "No luck here," he quickly said with faux disappointment, "Do you want to see if Sammy and Trent saw anything better over there?" he looked back and asked Sierra, Leshawna, and Geoff.
"Absolutely. It's not just the three of us," Sierra caught on before they turned and ran off.
"I see something!" Katie pointed off to the camera's right – the direction of the squid-tree. "Team colors!" The camera briefly cut over to the knot in question, with a focus on the marks below it in the two teams' colors.
"Excellent eye, Katie," Scarlett complimented while DJ ran to the tree.
"I'm not just a phone addict, y'know," Katie laughed a bit.
"I got the key, everyone," the camera cut to DJ who was in the tree's hollow and holding out a key. He threw the key in front of Dave and Molly.
"Way to go, DJ!" Molly said.
"Now you want to support us," Dave snarked at her. "Where was that when I was frozen?"
"Are you still mad about that?" Molly groaned.
"Of course we are," Katie snorted.
"You don't just leave your teammates behind," Dave lectured.
"Whatever happened happened," Anne Maria got in between them. "Let's focus more on the challenge and less on squabbling right now."
Confessional: Anne Maria
"I'm here to start no fights," Anne Maria confessed. "What Molly did was messed up, but they can scold her after the challenge."
Confessional: Molly
"Thank you, Anne Maria," Molly let out a sigh of relief. "Finally, someone who won't ride on me for my choices!"
Confessionals End
"You're right, Anne Maria," Dave sighed. "We shouldn't waste anymore time fighting."
As Dave bent down to pick up the key, however, a line of spider silk shot down from the treetops, wrapped around Molly, and pulled her up out of sight.
DJ regrouped with his team. "They said they saw something far away, so maybe-" he paused and looked behind his teammates. "Wait, where's Molly?"
The other four looked behind them and gasped. "Oh no, Molly's got taken by the spider!" Dave cried out.
"What do we do now?" Anne Maria griped.
Scarlett sighed. "Not to sound apathetic, but I think we're gonna have to continue on without her."
"Are you sure about that?" Katie questioned.
"I'm sure we can catch up to wherever she's being taken to," Scarlett waved off her concern.
"Well, I hope so," Katie said as she and the team exchanged nervous looks.
Confessional: Dave
"I don't see Molly in the best light right now, but that doesn't mean that I want her to be taken away," Dave began to shudder. "Especially by a spider."
Confessional Ends
"Why are we running so slow when we're in a challenge?" Geoff said as the scene moved back to him, Sierra, Scott, and Leshawna running through the forest. "We won't beat the other team at this rate."
"Relax, I know what I'm doing," Scott conversed with him.
Confessional: Scott
Scott was whittling another piece of wood with his shark tooth. "I'm heading us back into last place where we belong. Another elimination ceremony for the Rats and it's bye-bye Geoff! Or Sierra. I can't decide."
Confessional Ends
"C'mon, let's rock this! With years of exercise and partying, I've got energy to burn!" Geoff said, snatching the key from Leshawna and jogging ahead. The three followed him, but the camera kept its focus on Geoff as he passed a tree stump, then a rock; then stepped on a mysterious clump of dirt… which exploded and sent him flying.
Leshawna, Sierra, and Scott stopped immediately, the shot showing Sierra and Leshawna being shocked and Scott showing delight as Geoff got launched from one land mine to the next off-screen.
During this, however, a line of spider webbing was shot onto Sierra's leg. It quickly wrapped around it and tugged Sierra away from her team.
The camera finally cut back to Geoff, singed and groaning on the ground in an awkward but still holding the Rats' key. The Maggots approached him moments later. "Sorry that had to happen, doll!" Anne Maria comforted as she ran past Geoff.
Scott and Leshawna came to Geoff's need. "You gonna be alright?" Leshawna helped him up.
"I'll walk it off," Geoff tried to remain cool headed.
"Thanks, focus boy," Scott said.
"I don't want to strain my calves," Geoff added.
"We should leave in a few minutes just to make sure we catch up to the other team," Leshawna said. "Sierra just got captured, and I don't want us sticking around here."

The scene cut to the lantern-lit cemetery. The camera panned left across its headstones and crosses, several of which were pet-themed, to the entrance as the five remaining Mutant Maggots arrived, huffing and puffing from their run.
"Welcome to the Wawanakwa Pet Cemetery!" Chris greeted them over the loudspeaker.
"We're first. Nice!" Dave said.
"What's the clue?" Anne Maria asked Scarlett.
The camera cut in close as she opened the lid to a small coffin in an open grave, revealing a ragged piece of paper within bearing a list of numbers: 5 in the first row; 5 in the second; 5 in the third. Notably, while most of the numbers were plain black there were three 6s and the 18 were all an eye-catching red. "Three 6's is normally not a good indication of luck," Scarlett said with a nervous look.
"Let's fan out and look for numbers!" DJ said as the perspective cut back to its usual sideview.
"By ourselves?" Anne Maria asked.

"I'm in a creepy cemetery in the middle of the woods looking for three 6s. It's no big deal," Anne Maria said warily as she backed through the graveyard. "Good news is, there aren't any owls hooting around. I think I'm safe," she told herself, pausing to smile. "Now, let's see if I can find any numbers..."
She turned around and started examining the nearest headstone, and the shot cut to a view from afar, the footage switching back to infrared. The monster serving as the camera's viewpoint blinked, and when it opened its eyes it had gotten much closer to the jersey girl, and had extended four sharp limbs with tiny claws on the end towards her...
Anne Maria's scream echoed through the cemetery, quickly catching the attention of Katie, DJ, Scarlett, and Dave as they looked up in shock. "Anne Maria?" Dave asked out in concern, the footage quickly skipping ahead to show all four arriving at the location the tanned young lady had been snatched from.
"I could've sworn she was just here," Dave said in confusion.
They all gasped. "Where'd she go?" Katie asked in mild terror.
"I'm just as concerned as you all are," Scarlett started, "but like what happened with Molly, we should move along and hope to catch up with them."
"I know you're trying to be reasonable," DJ said, "but you're rubbing me off the wrong way."
"Yeah, it's like you don't care about what could happen to our teammates," Dave told her.
"I'm just used to not expressing my emotions on occasion," Scarlett told her team members. "Thank you very much."

The scene flashed to the Rats, where Scott and Leshawna were next to grimy coffins propped upright against a couple statues.
"Find the souvenir, hide the souvenir, lose the game…" Scott went in to unlock the coffin, but was interrupted by Fang bursting out of the coffin with a menacing grin.
"AAAAHHHHH!" The devious ran away screaming when Fang moved to chase after him.
Geoff was looking at a grave that was open. "This grave smells like french fries. Weird, but I'm not complaining." He got shoved in thanks to Scott running away from Fang.
The camera followed Scott as he ran past two open graves, one of which with a mound of dirt in front of it.
The mutant shark followed his quarry, but when Scott leapt over the mound of dirt, Fang tripped over it. The shark fell into the open grave and growled.
"Why does this graveyard smell like fries?" Katie wondered aloud, following a scent as she walked through the cemetery. She soon came to the pit Geoff was in. "Maybe it's coming from there."
"Hello? Anybody? I need someone to help me down here!" Geoff called out.
Katie backed away a bit. "Did that hole just talk?"
"It's me. Geoff!" Geoff tried to denounce her belief.
"Oh right," Katie sighed in relief. "You're the guy with the cowboy hat."
"That's right," Geoff confirmed her statement. "I fell down this hole, and I'm covered in grease right now."
"So that explains the smell," Katie realized.
"Can you get me out of here?" Geoff begged her. "Grease doesn't mesh well with my shirt."
"I would, but I have to help my team right now," Katie declined. "One of your teammates could get you out. Bye," she left the scene.
"This sucks," Geoff whined, unaware of four maggots coming by the grave. As soon as they saw the grease and Geoff, they jumped in and attacked him, making him howl in agony.

The scene cut to Chris, who was watching feeds of both teams on a trio of monitors and laughing hysterically. "Will anyone make it to the spooky cave?" he turned and asked the camera, holding a covered cup with a straw in it. "And if so, how can they possibly make it all the way to the finish line? Less brain, more pain, when we return!" he said, finishing with a sip of his drink.

I normally eat pretty healthy and track my calories and macronutrients. I don’t even want to try right now because the only foods that are palatable are awful for me. I’ve eaten pizza, fried chicken, ice cream, Chef Boyardee raviolis (literally haven’t eaten these since 6th grade???) and chips. The only healthyish foods I’m enjoying right now are cucumbers with Tajin and pickles. Basically anything tart or sour. But I wouldn’t be shocked if my daily protein intake is a whopping 20grams lol.
So I’d love to hear what nutritious foods you’re still enjoying! Partly for discussion but also for some ideas lol

How does this plan look? Too much in too little? I was hoping to Uber from the Airport to any of the destinations on Saturday to start it off and then follow along the big bus tour to hit those spots and then at night Uber back to the airport.
And then on Sunday since I don't have tickets to the bus tour, I was hoping to only do attractions that are nearby so I can save on Uber costs. Kinda wanted to see Chicago during the sunset or at night so maybe I'll save the skydeck for that...?
