I am still unable to play any PBE because I get the "unable to connect to login servers" every single time I get through queue. I can't find anyone else dealing with this. Is there an issue with NA players unable to login to PBE?

My boss told me today that my self reported time sheet needs to match my login to a program we use, but I have been logging my time in as when I start my computer as it can take 5 to 10 minutes for the computer to boot up, sign in to windows, and connect the VPN. Shouldn't I be paid for the time it takes my work equipment to start up? Every other hourly job I've had, my time started when I punched the clock, not when I was logged in to my workstation. Maybe it seems petty but work time is work time. Anyone else in a similar scenario?

A bit of background: I am a grad student at Virginia Tech (VT) who is working at a CNRS Institute in France since a month now as part of a research exchange program. I have been using eduroam here since VT has eduroam too so I just connected to eduroam automatically when I came to the institute. But since today morning, it is not connecting and shows a message "can't connect to this network". This problem is only on my laptop as my phone remains connected to eduroam. I have tried the following things but to no avail: 1) Forget network and login again using my VT details 2) Restarted my laptop several times 3) Add the network manually via network and sharing centre in Control Panel. I used the WPA2- Enterprise security type with a PEAP network authentication method. Under Trusted Root Certification Authorities, I have checked the box for USERTrust RSA Certification Authority and selected Authentication Method should be:Secure Password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) 4) Uninstalled and reinstalled the wifi drivers 5) Ensuring I have used proper passwords (including hyphens) 6) Checked network access - it says authorized for wireless LAN service and remote access VPN and last successful login being June 4th(yesterday). 7) Contacted my department IT help who recommended me to go to cat.eduroam.org and download the eduroam installer,make sure I find the installer for Virginia Tech and not the university that I am at. This should download and install the appropriate certificate for VT and then try to sign in again . I have also contact the IT at both the local institute and VT but they are unable to offer any further help. Again this problem is only with my laptop - eduroam is completely fine with my phone
PS- this is my second visit here- it happened last year too but then I just needed to forget the wifi and login again to make it work as usual.

i have an old epic games account (i think) that my son spent lots of money on buying skins etc. in the early days of free to play fortnite on xbox.
when i open fortnite on my xbox, the account is already logged in and i can play and see all my stuff.
i want to use this same account on my switch, but as i do not know the email for this account, i cannot log in to epic games and link my nintendo. (which i preesume is what i need to do?)
from the xbox i can see my display name and my epic account ID, but no other details for the account.
i have tried logging into epic games with my microsoft login, nintendo login, google login etc, but it tells me no Epic account is linked to these logins and i must make a new one. this is weird, as i would have thought that there was an account linked to my xbox login, as i can access it on my xbox.
i tried the forgot password on epic games with the 5 email addresses i regularly use, but these are not connected to an epic account apparently.
i tried to get support from epic, but they can only help with the account you are logged in to, and i cant log in!

what I am hoping to achieve is keep the account that is logged in on my xbox (with all the items and progress) and use the same account on my switch to play fortnite on both consoles. (not at the same time)

To connect to my Nas I have a public/private key on my computer, and I can ssh in the Nas if I don't use these tasks. After theses tasks are used, I can't access to my Nas even in a local session, it's seems like the Nas recognize my login but disconnect right after. If I try to connect in ssh I get the following error : [email protected]: Permission denied (publickey, password).
So after this I am locked out of my Nas and I need to re install Ubuntu server (LTS 22.04) to have access to it...
I tried to have a local open session on my Nas and revert all the change in the group file after I run my playbook, but I am still lock out of my Nas. I checked the log, and in the file auth.log I have the following messages when I try to connect in ssh:

My playbook is only doing some software installation (openzfs, ...) and some SSH configuration (something really similar to jeff geerling : https://github.com/geerlingguy/ansible-role-security ), and it works perfectly without the tasks where I create groups and add user to these groups.

I recently had an influx of CBs that crash continously before returning to login screen. This happens only when WiFi is connected. Tried powerwash, tried recovery, different user... Rolling back to v15329.59.0 fixed the issue and then disabling updates for now. Anyone else seeing this?

Hi, I'm setting up PfSense for a school project and I need some guidance, I have pfSense running in VirtualBox, and I need to do two things :

• A Point-to-site VPN (preferably using Wireguard).
• Block websites based on user machines.

As for blocking websites, Imagine I have group 1 and group 2 of devices connected, group 1 users have a blacklist that blocks certain sites (like chatGPT) while group 2 hasa different blacklist with certain sites that are blocked in group 1 accessible for group 2.
How can I set up different blacklists for different users ?

Greetings all! Got a weird one for you. It’s new to me anyway. Everything works fine until I start a game. Inside a game app or while running on disc, the controller inputs gain a mind of their own. For example at the login select i have full control of what I’m supposed to. I can flick back and forth over my profile options with the joystick and choose my login. From there i can scroll through the main menu and choose any option available to me from that menu. (Ex:apps, other menus, messages, etc) However if I choose a game to play the game loads the title screen, but i cannot continue from there. The game is not frozen, all music/graphics and cutscenes work. The controller remains connected as i can use the “PS” button to return to the main menu. The only progress i’ve made between multiple games having this issue is turning the controller off and back on. From there the game acts as if i’ve pressed a button and continues past the title screen. I can usually start a game at this point. Unfortunately i then run into more shenanigans. Everything from losing my left trigger function, to the L1 button sticking, to d-pad delay or failure to function, and menus scrolling through themselves. This only happens while a game is running, never anywhere else in the ps4’s main menu. Problem began about 48 hours ago. Packed up my console and took it with me to a relative’s house. Worked fine at home. When i hooked it up that night i had this weirdness. The ride was only a half hour and nothing happened to the console but sitting in a bag on the passenger seat.

A lightning strike from a couple of blocks away not directly at my house messed up my router. My dad said it was a power surge that fried the charger of my router. We found a replacement for its charger and my router still lit up but when I used it, it wasn't working so I rebooted it and tried to login again with no avail. I'm using custom [1] Holographic Remoting application on Windows 10 to utilize PC resources [2] instead of those on the HoloLens 2. However, I would like the Windows 10 application to acts more like a server (windows service?) rather than a desktop application - without rendering view from HL2 on display or GUI. The goal is to be able to connect to the remote application on Windows 10 using HL2 while it runs in headless mode (in the background). Ideally, without the need to start a user session (login).
I have tested the command-line parameter -batchmode [3] from Unity + some powershell scripting, and indeed, the application runs in the background as a Windows process, and I can even connect to it using the goggles. However, the application interface doesn't work in this mode — it's not visible.
Is there any option that would provide the functionality I'm describing? Thank you in advance for any response.

Hello, this morning out of the blue my gmail account log out on my PC, it told me that someone might had access to my account and that I needed to provide information to verify my identity, I gave my phone number but I never got any messages, I can access on my phone, change passwd, etc.
Sadly I tried too many times and now it won't let me try to login from my PC, do I really have to wait a week to try again? Is there a way to confirm to google that it's me whos trying to connect from that device?
