Hi, I am looking for a little bit of help with symbology and how to best display vector features based off of multiple values.
Here is the basic idea of what I am trying to do:
I have a map of 100 hiking trails totaling 100km in length. Each trail is broken into segments based off of maintenance values (scale of 0-100), resulting in a vector layer with about 900 records. Some parts of one trail may have a section of lower maintenance score, while other parts of the same trail may have a high maintenance score.
Each segment is of varying length, with some being as short as 5 meters, and others being as long as a kilometer.
I want to display the 10km of trails that have the highest maintenance score in red.
In my attribute table, I have a column with the maintenance score (0-100) and the shape length (meters). Right now I can display the hiking trails based off of their maintenance score, but I am not sure how to connect the mainentance score to length of the trails.
Do you have any ideas for how I could display this?
I have figured out how to do it manually in excel, by sorting the segments by their maintenance score and then adding up the length of each consecutive line until my total hits 10km. This of course works, but I was hoping to find a way to do this within ArcGIS.

I broke up with my ex in October because in the last months of our relationship he kept invalidating my mental health issues saying that I was overreacting and that I was faking them, despite we have been together for five years and he knew since the beginning I was dealing with anxiety and trauma and that I was even going to therapy. I was even thinking about talking to the doctor to get meds, but he said “meds are for those who have serious stuff”, and when the doctor prescribed me Xanax he said that he was “scared” that I was going to abuse it. He started yelling at me for having panic attacks and drove dangerously on the road when he picked me after my work because he was angry at me for having them. He kept saying that I needed a certificate of my issues from an psychiatrist, but at that time I was on waiting list. He was angry that I kept “doing the same error” and the error was me getting angry at people at my previous job that were making fun of me or putting me under pressure on purpose. Now I am in therapy and under meds, I am trying my best to become a better person, because yes, I have done wrong things too but it upsets me that I have depression because of him and I am taking antidepressants. What hurts me the most is that he wasn’t like this he was a very sweet and caring person, but when he started hanging out with two new people who didn’t liked me for reasons I still don’t know, he started acting bad and saying that my efforts of getting better weren’t enough.

i’m not sure if this is the right place to be asking this, but i hope someone sees this and i can get advice as soon as possible.
i (16f) have been vaping for 2 years nonstop and i have really bad anxiety. let me explain; i have anxiety about quitting because i know last time i tried i had extreme withdrawals (irritated easier than normal, headaches, felt sick to my stomach, ideations of ending my life, etc. it was really bad) — but also vaping makes me anxious and doesn’t help with stress. i don’t even know why i started. also the constant stress of not wanting to get caught by my parents a second time.
the advice i need is this; do i taper off and minimise my use until i don’t feel like doing it anymore, or should i just drop it completely? i feel like dropping it completely would benefit me more because as soon as withdrawals are over i’m sure i’d be fine, but i’m extremely anxious to do that because my brain is telling me i’d die (which might be true i don’t know). but i’m also afraid of tapering off because i feel like i just wouldn’t be able to control myself and i’d never stop. no matter what, i still need the advice, whether my anxiety hates the answer or not, i need to know the best way to go about this. i honestly might ask my mom, too, despite her probably getting mad at me.

So, as we all know, Isagi was inspired by Igaguri's instantly diving upon being touched BS and apparently found a way to have 100% certainty that he will score if given the chance. We know he asked Kunigami for some help, but we don't know what exactly.
People have theorized about him training his core to not lose balance when tackled, so he will still be able to take the shot, but I think there is something more to it.
Firstly, what gave him inspiration was the diving part of Igaguri's "strategy". That wouldn't inspire him to train his core to stand his ground because he has been aware of this weakness for some time now.
Secondly, no way in hell he managed to fix this problem with just 10 days of training. That's just not happening.
Putting it all together, I think that Isagi's strategy will be slightly different from what people think. My theory is that yes, core training is involved, but not at the level to hold his ground against a body tackle, but just enough to let himself be pushed away without losing his balance or the ball when tackled.
With Meta Vision, Isagi can easily predict with fairly good precision who might tackle him, when and from which direction. He can even use his insight into egocentrism to manipulate someone into doing it in the exact way he wants. Why? So he can reposition himself for the best Direct Shot possible.
Isagi has basically a 100% goal assurance if he can use his Direct Shot freely, so how do you make 100% goal formula with that? You simply make sure to always get yourself in the best position for a Direct Shot at the right time, and make sure to avoid any and all meddling. But that is basically Impossible, so what do you do? You develop a strat that turns any meddling into a helping hand.
If Isagi manages to put this Idea into practice (even if its absurdly hard), it is a 100% guaranteed goal.

No, I'm not talking in terms of anime, but the STORY as a whole is just better in the 2001 anime ; or, at least, the execution is which is what's really matter in the end.
(The osorezan arc is good, the end too but those are the only thing)
Once the manga reaches the second round of the shaman fight, the story devolves into a meaningless... I don't even know how to describe it frankly. It's a collection of non-tournament fights over and over whose only purpose, beyond powering our heroes, is to preach mddle school-tier morals. Holy fuck do they talk to say nothing. Do they keep fighting until any semblance of danger Hao's group inspired disappear. Do they keep dying until death itself doesn't carry any weight. So, yes, ofc the ending is good but 50% of the manga is just so bland. Let's compare some things from the old anime, to the manga that will showcase what I mean by "execution" The X-lays and Lyserg In 2001 Lyserg, consumed by rage, becomes a jerk and join a literal cult. The X-laws finally try to defeat Hao with the gate of Babylon and get BTFO... then Meene, Kevin and Venstar try their last desperate attempt to kill Hao with the oxygen-consuming grenade... it fails and their story arc finally ends with Lyserg reuniting with Morphine and gathering the power of all the X-laws into an all-powerful angel oversoul. In the end, the x-laws were a threat, went out with a bang and made Lyserg grow as a person while showing how a vulnerable person can easily be led astray by cults. In the manga? It starts out the same theeeeen.... they do nothing except staying on their boat ; they try to get rid of Yoh by making him forfeit (instead of killing him to highlight how crusadey they really are), and it pitiful concludes by saying the x-laws were fake from the beggining, that they don't really have angels? Ok? What does it matter except preaching again (more on that latter). Lyserg too, stays the same, never face the darkness of his rage and just casually realize that revenge is wrong.
Speaking of execution, again, having the shaman fight takes place in a secret subterranean realm where the great spirit lies after journeying for 3 months across america is also better than a random island south of Japan, full of ruined houses and mediocre sceneries. I don't know what Takei was thinking about. The american desert adds to the "mystique" of shaman king.
So yeah, as a whole, I think Takei is an ambitious author without the talent to back it up. He tries to be like Togashi and his HunterXHunter with nuanced morals, a complex power system and a plot that doesn't follow regular shônen tropes but can't execute it. Instead of the creative abilities of Nen we then get a collection of "Your furyoku isn't high enough to beat me!!" over and over. And instead of showcasing his morals through ACTIONS, he preaches. The worst thing, again, is the X-laws. Wow, Takei, so you want to tell me that (monotheist) religion can turn people into fanatics and is build on lies. How about you do that like the 2001 anime did by effectively showing how a boy can fall down into a literal cult instead of having Lukist TALK about it? What truly exposed Takei's pretentiousness is Yoh's comment about how "God" is fake just like the angels were.... EXCUSE ME??? There IS a GOD in the shaman king universe, it's the GREAT SPIRIT. I thought it was agreed upon that all religions in that universe had a kenel of truth. Jesus being the "son of God" is because he got the Great spirit, right? Damn, so you just wanted to do the "hey, christianity bad" thingie like all those 90s JRPGs, didn't you Takei?
I'm sorry for wasting so much time on the X-laws, but people keep saying how Shaman king isn't about fights, it's about the *philosophy*, but the philosophy is nothing that a middleschooler couldn't come up with, at least in its execution. Despite this, I love Shaman king, but the reason it's so beloved worldwide, let's be real is because the anime adaptation managed to keep the feeling and the mystique of the first 15 volumes until the 64th episode. Now sure, the 2001 anime doesn't have a great story either, and it's full of useless fillers too (all those invented shaman teams), but at least the charms persist (on top of having a great OST). The manga can't do that except for small arcs (Osorezan and the end)

I have a hard time turning my thoughts into words, but also I don't, idk, it's frustrating, and I'm not sure how to explain how amazing it feels when I describe something to chatgpt in a very unorganized, repetitive, list-like fashion, and it can organize those thoughts and details into something that makes sense AND is well written! I just asked it to write a song about a father and son and described the details that came to mind about the relationship I had with my dad, who is now dead. The song it produced, I feel like wouldn't be especially praise worthy, but that feeling of having my thoughts turned into words that flow and make sense, and it truly amazes me how chatgpt will come up with ways to describe or find a better way to say what is going on in my head, and how "smart" it is... people aren't exaggerating when they talk about the future of this technology. I've cried multiple times just in the 2 days since I've started experimenting with this incredible tool. In a way, I also feel like it's helping me to become better at turning my thoughts in to words on my own.... and on that note, I truly see the potential of this technology when utilized as a tool, and not a "do this for me" type of thing, if you spend time curating it's responses, you can use it "think" for you in a way, but you're still making the decision on what's best and what the final product will be. What event was your favorite in this list?

Good evening. I'm working on several player characters and I have a few fairly basic concepts going. What I'm looking for is maybe suggestions/alterations to make them a bit more interesting (although making them overpowered for what they do is always a plus.)
Concept 1: Race Siren/Sirine/Half-Siren Class: Pirate
This one likely would be either homebrew or at least maybe through something like Savage Species. The variation would be the mermaid-ish type of siren. The main abilities for her would be Siren's Song (or similar ability) to charm those that hear it. A bonus to swim, or the ability to change between humanoid and siren would be good too. And with her being a pirate, her song would aid her crew in plundering other ships they may come across.
The other ones I plan on making are: 1. An Elf Arcane caster (think I read of a cleric with Force domain that can use Magic Missle?) into Force Missile Mage (. (Dragon Magazine 328 pg 50) Requirements: 9 ranks each Concentration and Spellcraft, Combat Casting feat, able to cast Magic Missile.

1. A Dwarven Ranger into Deepwarden (Races of Stone pg 105) Requirements: Base Attack 5, 5 ranks each in Climb, Heal, Jump, Knowledge (dungeoneering), Survival, and Endurance feat.
   
2. Human Bard/Rogue/Cleric of Trickery domain into Chameleon (Races of Destiny pg 111) Requirements: Skills - Bluff and Disguise 8, Sense Motive 4, Able Learner feat (All skills cost 1 point, also in Races of Destiny)
   

They're all going to be about 5th level or so and just looking for suggestions on the best way to do these. (Or if there's better base-classes than what I have listed, such as maybe warmage or something in 33/3.5eds and early pathfinder or other compatable systems)
