I just got off the Sky Island and did the thing with Purah. She gave me the four points and all was good.
So I start trying to find my way to the Great Plateau because I don’t see its outline on the map and I’m curious where it is.
Anyway, I find a big whole in the ground near the Plateau and think “can I paraglide into this?” I can.
After having my fun and messing around in the depths I accidentally run into Master Kohga and have to fight him with all my newbie knowledge of the game and beginner equipment.
Either way, Master Kohga was defeated easily (he’s week) and all is good. But it was really funny when I just accidentally ran into him and thought “did I just skip into the middle of the gerudo quest?”

I understand that I can’t get a definite yes or no to this question, and this might be weird for this sub, but I had a crush on a TA in the fall of 2021. I never said anything (bc it would’ve been inappropriate) and maybe I’m just acting weird because it’s late at night but I’ve been thinking about him recently and wonder if he ever liked me too. I was thinking of reaching out but I’m worried that’d be silly and he wouldn’t even remember me.
For context, he was a first year PhD student that taught a small (20ish person) lab section. He also had “office hours” right after the lab in a common area. I’d find a spot and work on my lab there and I’d try to come up with a good, deeper question and it’d usually spark a good discussion. We also sometimes talked about other things. He started saying hi to me by name before each lab, and it felt like he came by me often. He’d give 100% to almost all my lab reports and write nice comments which he didn’t do for my friends. I also remember he left a comment on my last lab report telling me I did a great job, he liked having me in class, and that I was one of the top students in the entire lecture (which had 200+ people). I did wonder how he could know that. I assumed most profs/TAs didn’t pay that much attention, especially if he only grades my lab reports. I sent him a thank you email at the end of the semester, and in his reply he said he hopes he sees me around next semester.
I don’t have classes in his department anymore, so I don’t bump into him on campus. Should I try to reconnect or did I miss my chance?

During the day I often have small nightmares playing in the background. It's weird to explain, but I'll be doing something else entirely, but it's almost like a TV playing in the background. It's always the same place. Like a different world, but it's really fucked up.
A reoccurring one is one where I'm in an icy creek, surrounded by dead bodies. As I swim, their hair keeps getting tangled in my hands. I gasp for air because it becomes difficult to breathe because the movement is causing the bodies to bob around, pulling me under. Their eyeballs blue from being in the water and their skin is sloughing off. I persevere and get through it in the moonlight just to run off again.
Another one is just walking through a seemingly endless library that's next to this apartment building with winding, cascading staircases and beautiful railings between levels. The sky is nearly always orange. Those 2 buildings are in the city square. A little further down is a small post office and a theatre across the road. In the country, a half knocked over 2 story barn. Next to that is a house with stairs leading up to a balcony and door to the house.
Another one is that I'm holding the hand of an old man. We go to the nurse's station and someone wheels the old woman out. She can't speak, but I can feel her panic as the person who wheeled her out runs over her foot. It becomes mangled and pools of blood leave a trail to the room. I look at her face and her eyes are full of blood and she's dead.
Am I alone in this? Jw. They're horrific and I'm not sure why I keep seeing stuff like this. It's been going on now for about 7years now, so basically when my CPTSD took full effect. Before that I had lucid nightmares(still do) every night for as long as I can remember.

I can’t do anything because of it. Can’t get a job because I fuck up every interview. Can’t make simple conversation without my hands and voice trembling and feeling like throwing up. Even THINKING about it gets me worked up. I can barely leave my house. I can’t handle this shit. I genuinely don’t see any way out.

So a few weeks ago I was managing a coffee shop and I had a meeting with the owner one week and it was basically him thanking me for working so hard and helping so much, literally 7 days later at the end of shift he says “since I’m coming back to work we’re going to terminate your contract with a month left” then when I got home he whatsapped me reiterating what he said but said if I get another job in that gap I can leave with a weeks notice. I agreed because I had another job lined up anyway and I just wanted to get out of their if they proved they didn’t want me. Pretty sure the process to get rid of me was wildly incorrect as I had no warnings or anything but I had worked there only a year and a half so that probably makes a difference. I asked for reasons over WhatsApp and he just made up various excuses and which were disproved the next day by customers praising me as the hardest worker and the owner and their family making the same mistakes that are apparently are good enough to fire me for.
That was a few weeks back, fast forward to today, our payday is normally the last Sunday of the month and Sunday morning I get my payslip for the last 2 weeks I worked for £935 but no pay arrives in my account at all that day. I messaged the owner since another staff member didn’t get any of their maternity pay for the month saying ‘hi former boss I still haven’t been paid and I’ve heard I’m not the only one who hasn’t, can you check for me that you’ve sent my money out properly and that it’s gone to the right place as I’m owed £934.55. Can you make sure it’s sorted by the end of the day” he read my messages but left me on read and hasn’t responded or paid me yet. I know yesterday was bank holiday but if some workers got paid first thing Sunday it’s a little dodgy that I have nothing then they ignored me and hid in the back of the shop when I tried coming in yesterday to talk to them. So what should I do today, if I go acas should I even let them know?

I am a single 26F in medical school, living in Stuytown. My sibling (38M) lives in west village. He was visiting my parents for the long weekend and I figured I’d hitch a ride since he was driving there and back.
We drove back around 11pm on Sunday, and he parked in front of his apartment and left. I had a fair amount of stuff with me (duffel bag, tote bag, backpack) and was a little annoyed that he didn’t offer to drop me at my apartment which would have been a 10 min crosstown trip x2, or at the very least, near a train stop.
I brought this up to him recently and he sort of scoffed saying I should’ve been glad he even drove me back to the city (doesn’t make sense because he was doing the trip regardless of my presence) and whenever he picks his friends up they are always happy to take a train or cab. I told him ordinarily that’s fine with me, but it was super late at night, I was alone with a bunch of stuff on me, and we were > 6 blocks away from a train that would likely need to me to wait a significant amount of time &/or transfer. I don’t particularly feel great about shelling out 20-30$ for a cab ride and felt he should’ve at least offered to front the fare for me considering he’s a high earning professional and I’m less than broke. He cited that he’s busy and the extra driving time would cut into sleep etc- I’m also in clinicals and need to be up super early & felt that an extra 20 min isn’t a huge ask.

I had a fair amount of stuff with me (duffel bag, tote bag, backpack) and was a little annoyed that he didn’t offer to drop me at my apartment which would have been a 10 min crosstown trip x2, or at the very least, near a train stop.
I brought this up to him recently and he sort of scoffed saying I should’ve been glad he even drove me back to the city (doesn’t make sense because he was doing the trip regardless of my presence) and whenever he picks his friends up they are always happy to take a train or cab. I told him ordinarily that’s fine with me, but it was super late at night, I was alone with a bunch of stuff on me, and we were > 6 blocks away from a train that would likely need to me to wait a significant amount of time &/or transfer. I don’t particularly feel great about shelling out 20-30$ for a cab ride and felt he should’ve at least offered to front the fare for me considering he’s a high earning professional and I’m less than broke. He cited that he’s busy and the extra driving time would cut into sleep etc- I’m also in clinicals and need to be up super early & felt that an extra 20 min isn’t a huge ask.
AITA for being pissed?

Just wondering if someone could be allergic as a kid, not as a teen, and then allergic again as an adult?
As a kid I was told I couldn't go near peanutbutter, and remember having a skin and lung reaction from touching peanut butter as a kid. As a I grew up, I didn't know about my allergy, and my mom gave me peanut/jelly sandwiches in school. I don't remember having any adverse reactions, but as an adult I've noticed issues with it and had my allergies checked. I'm a +2/5 for peanut allergy.
Though, I've been eating peanuts pretty consistently for the last few weeks, my symptoms have been mild lip swelling in places that were cracked, and my stomach feels like I swallowed acid. Overall, I feel like I could overcome this allergy. Wondering if other people have experienced similar?

My partner and I plan to do different down payments, her ~8% and me ~42%, and different mortgage payments according to salary, her 33% and me 67%.
Is there a form of co-ownership where we can dynamically shift ownership percentage based on the amount of payments we have made? If not ownership, than any type of legally binding document that can do the same thing (if so, what is the ownership model for this)?

- Be as fair as possible for both parties
- Not feel like we have to contribute less or more based on the other person's current employment situation
- Be able to shift contribution if we get better jobs, lose our jobs, go back to school, etc.

This morning I made the decision to return my H5600 after having it for 7 days.
I am so sad because I have really tried to like it, I am a G-shock fan and I always wanted a 5600 model with heartrate monitor.
Coming from the Garmin Solar Instinct it was a step back anyhow, which I was ready to make. I could try to do without all the nice extras the Garmin had, and I tried to cope with the app that was so 2011. One thing that really made it hard for me to love the H5600 is the lack of personalization options, that I really missed.
But even then I tried really tried hard to love it.
The thing I loved about the H5600 was the Nightly Recharge on my watch and in my app. But I want to be able to read this after I wake up. The last couple of days it took at least one hour after waking up to see this in the app or on my watch, but one day it was more than 2 hours. This morning it said it had 'no data', even though it had registered my heart rate during the night. No data??? Why?
It was the last I could take. I have contacted Casio and printed my return form. Really sad because all I ever wanted was a 5600 model with heartrate. The Garmin was a second choice form the beginning.
Maybe... maybe in some time in the near future Casio will update the app, modernise it, make it user friendly (skip the adds!!!!) and makes it so that the watch can be more personalizede. In the meantime I will use my Instinct Solar 1.
