I own every form factorDewalt offers in their 20v/60v lineup of batteries (18 in total) other than the 5ah powerstack and 15ah. It took a significant amount of savings for me to pick up the 1.7 ah powerstacks, but now that I have them, I couldn't be without them for my daily drivers. The 5ah PS sits right in no man's lands for me. If I want more power I have a variety of options,and it's it like it's super compact like the 1.7 PS. The 5ah PS still are quite large, and I doubt I'd use them in a impact. Really the only use case I could see is to have peak voltage performance in a drill driver. But I already have batteries that can do that. Is there anyone who sees the 5ah PS as a must have for a certain tool/application. All I can think of is it's pair very nice with the DCD800. Interested to hear your thoughts and why it is a must have or a pass for you guys.

What do you think of the recipes? What brand of all purpose flour did you use in them and can you tell me if it was bleached or unbleached?
I noticed she doesn't specify, and a lot of people say they are interchangeable, but it has not been the case in my own tests. I use king arthur flour which absorbs more liquid than brands like gold medal (especially if they're bleached), so I'm wondering if it will work in her recipes.

We all hate getting uptiered into hell facing HEAT in our heavies or fast mobile thermal light tanks in our no-stab mediums. Not really fair is it?
My suggestion seeks answers two main questions: how do you make matchmaking fair in a way that still has a +1/-1 BR range but fun and engaging for all? And how do you keep queue times optimized?
How matchmaking feels like as of today: players are bunched into a match with attempts to make both teams balanced but not always with success. Those who are downtiered are compensated with lower SP costs and vice-versa.
How template matchmaking works: hard templates are used to determine BR ranges and player amounts. For example : a typical 16 player 6.7 game could (per team) contain 3x 6.7 players, 5x 6.3-6.0 players, and 8x 6.0-5.7 players. Other templates can include 6x 6.7 and 10x 6.3-6.0 or even all 6.7 if that particular MM range is overloaded.
Why do I think it would be better? From the perspective of every BR range it makes it more likely for everyone to face an opponent that can be tackled by you or with the help of teammates. Uptiered players will face more uptiered opponents and downtiered players will have a chance to be more effective without crushing the game with unbalanced player counts.
But what about queue times? By having multiple available templates with different BR rangings +1/+0.7/+0.3/+0, it could give the MM the flexibility it needs for short queue times by for example having overloaded BR ranges into full +0.3/+0 matches without sending uptiered players to their death into near-full high tier matches where they just fill remaining slots.
Flaws? MM is a very complex thing and is already quite complex in War Thunder due to attempts at making historical battles. Queue times seems to be something Gaijin puts as a n°1 priority even above balance and BR decompression. Other flaw would be one death leavers as the top tier players of your team versus having full lineups being much more effective for your team - kind of a dice throw wether the supposedly most effective players of your team will actually be or not.
Feel free to share your thoughts about this idea (which I assume is nothing new and original).

Call me crazy but I truly believe the sub needs to have new mods that are actually here, on the subreddit and care about the subreddit, not actively talking shit about the sub they supposedly signed up to voluntarily moderate out of the goodness of their hearts.
I think an overhaul of the whole mod-team needs to be in order and eshlow being the top mod needs to step up his leadership game and make a request for new mods and kick off the old ones who are clearly inactive.

I got the bike like this about a year and a half ago, and while it doesn't affect how it drives (that I've noticed) it throws me off visually. If I use my fuel tank as reference for a parallel line with my handlebars, the front wheel is about 5 degrees off center. Hello, First I would like to say, that in Europe it is really hard to get children books with Tagalog. I have bought a few books on Amazon even, but they were after I bought them actually in English. Children books written for filipino audiences written in English.... I have also tried to search for epub files, only to find very old public domain books for adults. Easier to just find stories in tagalog on websites on the internet like Ibong Adarna a favorite of my daughter. I my self have very poor Tagalog comprehension. I can mostly just follow the approx meaning of a conversation between two Filipinos and comment on the conversation in Norwegian. I intend to change that, but I have been more focused these years speaking Norwegian to my wife so she will learn.
Anyway, to the topic at hand. Me and my wife and I did gift one of my favorite books as a child, not my copy, but an English translation to our nephew on her side. He doesn't live in Norway, but his mother does mainly speak English and Danish to him. Not filipino. So we gifted him an English copy of Karius and Baktus. And when he grew out if it, they gave it back. Now I scanned the pages, used OCR with wrong settings to get some text out, painstakingly corrected all the text to what its supposed to be. And solicited ChatGPT 3 to translate each of the 4 chapters of the book. I can't verify the correctness of the translations, but I thought I would print out them on paper so my wife could just have a pen when she reads it to our 3 year old, and mark places she thought needed corrections, so we could review them later. I'm sure the translation from ChatGPT is good enough, at least for the first reading. I'll also insert images from the book before printing it. Havent gotten that far yet. Here is the link to I got so far. I just provide this if anyone is interested. I have yet to insert the images from the original book yet, and maybe do some formatting. The book is about Karies and Bakteria in the mouth of a young boy called Jens. In this story they are called Karius and Baktus and are anthropomorphized as little trolls, and they make cavities. The morale of the story is to brush your teeth. The conclusion of the book is that Jens goes to the doctor and gets his cavities filled, and when he then brushes his teeth that evening Karius and Baktus can't hide from the tooth brush and are flushed down the drain. The original book is written and illustrated the beloved children's author Torbjørn Egner. The illustrations are lovely and childish if you google Karius and Baktus or the authors name. Or if you clicked the link after I put in the illustrations.
What ChatGPT failed miserably in however is translating the songs. Maybe ChatGPT4 would do better, but I can't afford that currently. I am asking if anyone could please translate these songs to Filipino, and have them still fit in the melody. So probably retain the same amount of syllables, and hopefully keep the same lines rhyming with each other. I know this is a long shot, if anyone would help me. Below I put the official English translations of the songs, which does fit the rhythm and rhyme. I also did attach the Norwegian original songs but translated to english, only focusing on retaining the meaning. These are just for reference if they may be helpful. I also attached the sheet music. Hey! I bought some tibetan mushroom grains online and started to make some kefir at home. I am using A2 whole milk pasteurized (only thing to get where I live). I let the mix stand on the counter in a fairly hot kitchen due to the temperatures where I live are quite high.
My problem is that the kefir is perfect before 24 hours has passed. It usually takes way less than 24 hours. Since I am getting used to drinking kefir I am not drinking too much yet so I am getting totally overwhelmed by how much I am making. Even if I limit the amount of grains they eat like crazy..
I have been thinking about putting it in the fridge and making the kefir in a colder environment to reduce the speed of production to catch up with it. Does anyone have any advice for me? Is it a good idea to use the fridge or should I do some other measures?

When I try to talk or sing like this though my ears quickly become pressurised and my throat gets congested causing me to have to clear it a lot; very unpleasant! Speaking to a classmate who works in vocal therapy spaces she believes it's simply because the distance between my voicebox and where I'm shifting my voice to is so much larger than I'm used to that my body is struggling to keep up; that I just need to practice more!

I understand the gist of roommates and coworkers not being friends, especially coworkers who you work directly with as it can make things weird when office relations are at play. That being said, before covid, I used to work in person and became friends with one girl who started on the same day as me. We didn’t work directly together, but we became pretty good friends and would have lunch together everyday. I also went to her wedding. There were also a bunch of other people I interacted with when working in person and it felt nice to meet people from all walks of life and have general conversation.
Today, I got into an argument with my roommate who has been having a passive aggressive attitude lately and told her she’s being passive aggressive, to which she responded “I’m not being passive aggressive, just straightforward. We’re roommates, not friends”. I never expected my roommates to be friends, but I also expect some level of courtesy even if we aren’t friends.
I just thought about this because I realised since university, it’s been the loneliest I’ve felt all my life. I didn’t make tons of friends in university, but I was constantly surrounded by people my age and there was always small moments that turned out to be a lot of fun with the people I was around. college is expected to be social but the world outside of it is very “you’re on your own”. Again, I get the politics around these things that make it hard, but I feel it’s unnecessarily rigid. If my roommates were nicer to me, then I don’t see why we couldn’t be friends. If I found somebody at work fun and interesting to talk to, also don’t know why we couldn’t be friends. I do a ton of activities outside of work and try to meet people as much as possible but it doesn’t always lead to friendships either. Nobody prepared me for how cripplingly lonely 30s become because so many people are aversive to new friendships at this age.
