Well, summer has finally arrived in my town, and tonight was a gorgeous night, with the full moon so big and bright! Ok, let's rewind to a few days back when I'm casually scrolling facebook marketplace. You know when you see something you didn't even know you wanted? Something that once your eyes behold it, you absolutely must get it? Well that's what happened to me.

It was a mother f#%king pet stroller. Like a legit stroller with under cab storage, complete with cup holders for those long leisurely strolls! Like geez, louise, until that moment, I had no idea pet strollers were a thing!!!
Oh, because now that I knew, you know that I just had to have it! I'd always dreamed of a way that I could safely take my indoor cat Ruby on an outdoor adventure! Now, my dreams could actually become a reality! The law of attraction is real folks!
So I immediately messaged the seller, and wouldn't ya know, I received a message back. "Yes, it's still available", it read. Omg! OMG! my heart leapt with joy right then and there! You best bet the next few messages back and forth was firming up pricing and arranging pick up details. That's right folks, I don't fool around! Suffice it to say, the following night, my kitty's new ride was in my home.
I popped that stroller in the bathtub, gave it a nice refresh with some liquid laundry detergent and water, rinsed it up and set it out all day on my balcony in the summer sun to dry.
Well, yup, ya, you guessed right! I couldn't help but load her in, and take her out for a beautiful moonlit inaugural stroll this evening. Ruby loved it! She was so happy! I brought some treats and water with me too, and I stopped about halfway to give her a lil' snack.
Well, it sure is lucky for me and my indoor fur baby. Ruby now has a class A, fine ride to go for strolls. I'm thinking with the storage compartment, we could even go pick up a few items at the grocery store together. It's gonna be so great! I'm suuuuuper excited! Oh and did I mention the bonus peek-a-boo mesh windows, and moon roof? Yeah, it's pretty sweet!

Since graduating high school, I have always wanted to work remotely from home - preferably with a flexible schedule - to earn some decent income and assist my aging parents. I live in a small rural town that offers very little in terms of job growth or sufficient income that could help my parents pay their bills. All jobs in my area are minimum wage(I live in Washington State, so the minimum wage as of this current date is $15.74,) And with the cost of living rising,(not to mention it being exacerbated by current inflation) my parents struggle more each day.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, I tried starting my own Amazon(arbitrage) business. Retail arbitrage was a bust, so I went with FBA, only to learn that the market was too overly saturated with competition, and the seller fees made it nearly impossible to earn a profit(not to mention too many item category restrictions.) I tried dozens of online programs, videos, and tips to make it work, but to no avail. I put two years of hard work into Amazon, trying to create my own private-label brand with no success. Again, oversaturation. This venture cost me thousands of dollars with zero ROI.
Next, I tried flipping used valuable items on eBay, Mercari, and finally, Facebook marketplace for over a year by wasting hundreds of dollars on items and ads only to have a few sales a month. Mercari is a total bust, with current listings sitting on their site for over a year. I've made a few sales on eBay, but more people are on the E-commerce bandwagon more than ever. Compared to ten years ago, more sellers in today's market have really upped the competition. Most sales on eBay or Facebook marketplace consist of buyers throwing lowball offers at me-eg. A good-quality jacket listed for $150 is determined by comparing prices with other sellers or apps. A potential buyer comes at me with an offer saying, "Will you take $25 for it instead?"
My last-ditched attempt at selling anything online was drop shipping. I put a lot of time and energy into drop shipping while I was simultaneously learning Amazon and then eBay arbitrage. I watched tons of YouTube videos on this and sought out the best marketing strategies, only to lose even more money.
Since I am unable to sell anything online, are there any other possible job opportunities out there that are not over-saturated? Maybe I can't run my own business at home, but are there any online opportunities that offer remote work with decent pay and don't require big college degrees? Is there anything online or at home that does not involve e-commerce? Any ideas would be really helpful. Thank you.

Recently I have been trying to sell a treadmill on Facebook marketplace place. The person wanted to pay me today which sounded a little sus, but have them my info.
Now because they have a "business account" they can only send me $300 min, but I have to return $250. Also, the email for the "steps" from "Venmo" are coming from [email protected]. Also the buyer is suddenly very pushy.
This feels very scammy. I can't find any info on this on Google. What do you think reddit? Scam?
I'm thinking so since it says venmo only uses venmo.com
Also one of the said emails said I'll be turned into fraud or some sht, plus I gave this person my address like a dumba* before they pulled this shit. Shouls I be worried?

Como me dijo su nombre, quize buscarlo en rutificadores, y terminé encontrando un documento de un (nse como se llama), resolución de un caso penal. Resulta que él fue testigo de eso, por eso encontré su nombre en el documento. Él era carabinero. Seguimos hablando al rato, y me mandó fotos de él, su carnet, su identificación y placa de carabinero. En ese momento no lo revisé con detenimiento, ya que no se alcanzaba a leer, pero resulta, que su identificador de carabinero, venció el 2022. Por lo que el saco wuea sigue teniendo tanto su vestimenta, como placa, como todo con él. Pero ya no ejerce (esaa es mí conclusión). Me mostró compañeros suyos con video y todo, para que vea que son pacos, y viendo ahora el video, el de su compañero venció el 2019. Osea todos eran impostores.
Cuál fué la estafa? Me dijo que iba a transferirme el precio de mi producto por su cuenta institucional de carabinero. Ya que era mas seguro, y rastreable ante caso de estafa bla bla. (Esta wuea suena ridícula, pero sí, caí wn) me dijo en un principio que, esta transferencia tenía un "seguro" para que se efectue la transacción. Que significa eso? Que él iba a transferir $330.000, e iba a quedar "pendiente" la transacción. Entonces yo debía de transferir esos 30mil a una cuenta (con nombre de carabineros de chile), y se iba a liberar los fondos junto a mis 30mil. Si perdía 30mil, me daba igual, no es tanto la wuea. Pero resulta que no quedó ahí. Ya que me dijo que se equivocó, y estos 10% correspondientes del "seguro" era solo si teníamos el mismo banco. Cuento corto wn, excusas de transferencias inválidas y wueas, me terminaron quitando algo más de 100mil. Culpa mía? Claro, yo transferí. Pero mientras yo empezaba a dudar, y a preguntar cada vez más. Él me mandaba videos de su "oficina" en carabineros. Videos de carabineros al lado suyo y todo. Chucha, cómo eso va a ser estafa no? Yo hasta este momento no tenía idea que sus identificadores estaban vencidos. No sabía.
Ahora le pedí que dejemos esta wuea esta acá, y que necesitaba mi dinero de vuelta. Me terminó diciendo lo siguiente. Que por alguna razón, por culpa de todo eso de las transferencias. Mi cuenta estaba inválida para recibir los fondos de carabineros. Y que debía de tener en priopiedad, 350mil en mi cuenta. Le dije que no tenía como. Y le inventé q puedo conseguirme 100mil. Has facebook marketplace totally eliminated kijiji at this point? About 2 years ago I started using marketplace more, and then found myself listing and searching on both. I still do list/search on both. But find that kijiji is just a formality. With very few responses. Kijiji shines in a few categories not allowed on marketplace. Marketplace search sucks, and 'services' aren't allowed. So I guess I play both against each other. But really.... is ANYONE still using kijiji?

I’m thinking about doing resale on OfferUp/Facebook marketplace, and possibly tik tok shop, anyone with experience in this have some advice on how to get started, also if someone has a supplier to good quality but not too expensive reps to resell I’d love some help there too.
