So after all of my research on color, led chip, bulb design, luminosity, flux, and the laws around led headlights. I decided on the morimoto two stroke 3.0s to replace the halogens in my subaru outback 2013. They come in below the 3000 lumens limit set by the government and based on the research, they should be the best all around bulb for replicating the beam pattern on my projectors. I went with white for the low beams, and yellow for the fog lights to handle bad weather better. I kept my high beams the brightest halogens I could find, cuz money. I'm going to align them tonight, and see how it looks.
I think I'd recommend these bulbs to anyone looking for one to buy, especially if you want to stay in the legal limit of lumens.

I had installed a pair on my car a few years ago. They’ve worked fine but I broke the lightbulb retainer ring when I was switching the bulbs. I haven’t been able to find a replacement retainer ring that works for the headlight housing that I have on. I guess that’s what happens when going the cheaper route. I’m going to maybe replace both housings on each side so that they’ll look even.
Is there any aftermarket brand that you’d recommend from personal experience? Or are they all very much the same in build quality?

Timestamps
pet/[email protected]/[email protected]/scent free household, and do not eat near computer area. The second hand items from the 12400 guy exude much less fragrance compared to when they were obtained (assuming his household laundry detergent or similar had fragrance as the source), and I doubt you'd sense it if your own living arrangements have any sort of scented items. They come with all original cables, boxes, manuals, etc I still have. If you want more information about anything, feel free to ask and it will be added. Selling because old 2010 pc with phenom ii x3, gtx460, and 8gb is sufficient for my use case, try for modern hardware again some other time.

msi b660m mortar wifi ddr4	mobo vrms have coil whine crackle-hum using turbo boost, most likely related to powerstate/frequency switching (disappears when fully loaded or not doing anything) or concurrent with putting load on the integrated graphics, tried a whole bunch of bios settings to stop it, C1E enabled reduces it. integrated graphics culprit unverified due to case and difficulty with it; haven't tested a discrete card to eliminate igpu cause. latest bios(v19) at the time is flashed, need earlier bios version for avx512 capability, tried to get that instruction set working but found out it involves tainting my kernel and i don't use windows but if you do, the only os-side step is to move the specific intel microcode file out of system32. replaced the ilm with the thermalright one. includes right angle usb3 header adapter.	100/100
msi b660m a pro ddr4 wifi	2nd hand from 12400 guy. has smudge on backside near cpu bracket from alcohol solubility test on the paint; backside is alcohol soluble. has same scent as others from him. he did a bad paste job on cpu area and shipped it that way, i cleaned it up (no socket pins got paste on them thankfully because he didn't remove cpu from the board) tested and it works. comes with windows 10 pro key. the m.2 wifi card was worked, but putting it back in this board... i didn't have enough finger dexterity. one of the contact n!pp!es is bent, needs to be bent back. can't get it back out to do that, stuck. includes piece of factory glue that goes between the contacts and holds the leads in place. treat as non wifi version with potential bonus for trying hard enough. anti static bag on one side MAY have trace of urushiol due to being blown away when airing out onto a patch of cracked concrete where two weeks previously had been a sprout which had been disposed of then the area alcohol-doused then two rainstorms. includes right angle usb3 header adapter.	80/70

sama im01	hohboy, man oh man, this case.... removing the front panel carefully according to the manual causes the top clips to break(so that's why it includes two spares), and is difficult to work in even though all sides but the back come off. can't put a discrete gpu in because it can't go into the slot all the way; something about the mobo tray being depressed or pci slot design prevents it. front left usb3.0 defective (blips then doesn't work) but the right one is functional. pci slot magnetic swinging screw cover hinge is a bit bent because the top and bottom packaging foam were switched in factory(foam cutouts did not align). matx mobo prevents bottom from having second fan if not want to risk mobo header bending.	60/30

I've got an 01 ranger, 3L 4x4. The headlights just stopped working the other day. Running lights and instrument cluster light up, so I don't think it's the switch. The fuse in the cab isn't blown. The lights will come on if I hold the high beam switch back, so it's not the bulbs.
Any ideas?

First I have to explain a bit about my family situation. My dads mother died under weird circumstances when my dad was only 14 years old. She crashed with her perfectly working car and it did burst into flames killing her instantly. My grandpa moved on rather quickly and married my dads stepmom. My dad and my aunt are pretty sure they had something going on while their mom was still alive and the car was manipulated but there's no evidence and my grandpa is still fighting everything off to this day. My step-grandma never once dropped something nice about their mother. She badmouthed her in every way possible. The stepmom wasn't the best person to be around in general and my dad moved out as soon as he could.
Soon after my parents met, got married and had me. I pretty much look like my dad so it was no surprise that I looked really similar to his mom when I grew older. We compared pictures of her at the age 11 to me (when I was 11) and we looked almost identical. Apart from the hair (I inherited my moms curls) I still am her Mini Me which makes my dad really happy.
My step-grandma hated the fact that I looked like my bio-grandma and despite being the only grandchild she was never fond of me. When I was around 12 years old the stepmother died. I've only met her 4 or 5 times so I wasn't too sad and neither was my dad. My grandpa however was devastated. This is the first time in 40 years he was on his own. So we decided to spend the summer with him to help him get settled. My dad, who is a professional chef taught him how to cook balanced meals, my mom cleaned out the house and me and my childhood dog Trevor entertained them with laughter and plays. His house was huge (he since moved into a nursing home) and really old school. I spent the nights in my dad's old bedroom.
One night I woke up at around 2 am. I tried to fall back asleep but Trevor, who slept next to my bed growled at the door. I thought that someone was going to the bathroom and woke Trevor up. I got up and looked out the hallway - nothing but pitch black darkness. I went back to bed but felt really uneasy. Something was off. I turned on my nightstand lamp and grabbed a book from my dad's old shelf to distract myself. I opened it and saw a signature
"Happy Birthday Chris, love Mommy" Darkness. My lamp was turned off. I tried to turn it on again but it didn't work. Mind you this room was really old so I thought the light bulb just gave up. I tapped through the darkness and turned the headlights on. They worked but they flickered like crazy. Trevors growling turned into whimpering so I turned it off again and went back to bed. I put the book on the night stand and closed my eyes.
But I listened. I heard my dogs breathing and... footsteps? Footsteps out in the hallway. I knew my family members footsteps and it sounded nothing like my mom. They were to light and dainty to be from a male. I jumped off, yanked my door open and turned on the hallway light.
Nothing. Just footsteps. They went quieter. Just like someone who's walking away from me.
The next day I asked if someone was awake and walked through the house that night but they all slept through. Only later I told my dad about my experience and about Trevors reaction. He laughed it off and just said that his stepmother probably doesn't want me to look at things related to his bio mom and she's only visiting me because I look like her. He was joking but deep down we both know he was probably right.
To this day I'm sure that my step-grandma was roaming through the night and didn't like that I, someone who resembles her husbands late wife, looked at things she bought for my dad. I am really proud to look like this amazing, elegant lady who brought my amazing dad and lovely aunt into this world. I wish I had met her since we apparently had my similar personality traits as well.

Hi there, hope this is where i can post about my problem. If not i shall delete this post. So my problem is with my daylights. I had the bulb on the left blow, like literally she wasn't there when it went out. Right one was okay and running. So i changed the left bulb and it lit up. Then i changed the right one also because it was going to die also/ deformation of the bulb. When i changed them they lit up fine, and when i turn on the main headlights an error popped up saying there is a problem with both my daylights. This happened every time. After the message 30 seconds to 1 min would go and the angel eyes would stop working. This happened a couple of times and now they turned off for good. The thing is the originals (bulbs) were H8 12V 35W but the guy sold me H11 V12 55W and i didn't notice that. I spoke to the guy and he said they are basically the same and there shouldn't be the problem. Yeah but, the watts are different 35-55W. So could it be a fuse that burned or could there be a bigger problem here? I've checked fuses but only the ones in the trunk and there was indeed a burned one which i changed but there was no change in anything. I'm gonna take out the front fuse box today and see in there. I'm writing here for some info if anyone has gotten a problem like mine before and has a possible solution.

Ich bekomme aktuell für 6 Monate den Maximalbetrag an Elterngeld (1800€), die Frau bekommt den Minimalbetrag (300€), dazu kommt noch Kindergeld (250€). Wir Wohnen bei meinen Eltern und zahlen 350€ Miete Warm. Wir würden Kinderzuschlag und eventuell Wohngeld bekommen, wenn meine Eltern die Miete erhöhen würden. Um wieviel sollten Sie es erhöhen damit es sich lohnt?
Jetzt wirds etwas komplizierter: wir haben uns bei den Eltern meiner Frau als Erstwohnsitz gemeldet, da die in Bayern wohnen und man dort vom 1. Lebensjahr bis zum 3. Lebensjahr also 2 Jahre lang 250€ Familiengeld geschenkt bekommt. Einzige Bedingung, ist dass das Kind in Bayern gemeldet ist. Elternzeit & Geld nehmen wir ja vor dem 1. Lebensjahr der Kleinen. Müssten wir für KiZ und Wohngeld uns wieder zurück ummelden und dann vor dem 1. Lebensjahr wieder nach Bayern melden, oder könnten wir daraus Nachteile beim Familiengeld bekommen?
PS.: Ich sehe das erhalten von Sozialleistungen als eine legale Möglichkeit zur Reduktion der Steuerlast :D

Hi I’m looking for a new car that has enough power to enjoy driving it and also won’t breakdown in the next 7-8 years.
I’ve been looking at cars like the Lexus IS 350, Kia Stinger, Supra, charger, Mustang GT, Tesla 3/Y, G86, Tacoma, 4runner and even a RAV4 Prime (I like the 4WD).
I’m 6’4” so a little hesitant on the smaller cars. MPG is not a huge concern, and I love anything that sounds nice or has a nice interior.
I currently have a 2014 scion tc and it has been great!
My budget is 25-45k max. Please help with any suggestions! Thanks.
