Among the various threats we face in our nation today is the role of the government in seeking to quash or eliminate any semblance of the religious freedom that has characterized our nation from the day of our founding fathers. This is evident in different areas of our public life, and should cause us to being in continual prayer for our nation and its leaders, even as Paul encouraged us in I Timothy 2:1-2: “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.”
In this article, we will note various examples of “Faith Under Fire.”
In 2013, President Obama began a war on Christian members of the military with the proclamation that “Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense…Court Marshals will be decided on a case-by-case basis.” Under this edict, Christian servicemen or chaplains could not “talk about Jesus,” “quote the Bible,” or “share their faith.” Furthermore, if an atheist, homosexual or non-Christian was offended in any way, the Christian member who caused the offense could be punished. My understanding is that these policies remain in force today.
The then president and his anti-Christian friends in the House and Pentagon demanded that military chaplains facilitate homosexual marriages or face penalties. In 2013 Senior Master Sergeant Phillip Monk was punished and relieved of duty after 19 years of good service when his openly lesbian commanding officer Major Valenzuela objected to his Biblical views on marriage. She wanted him “severely punished” for his religious objection to homosexuality.
Navy Chaplain LCDR Wes Modder was fired by his commander after quoting a Bible verse to a homosexual sailor who asked him what the Bible said about homosexuality. The sailor then complained, even though he had been asked the question about the Bible, and the chaplain suffered termination.
Lance Corporal Monifa Sterling was a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune. She posted a Bible verse near her desk which read, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Isa. 54:17) The next morning the verse was in the trash can, and then she was court-marshaled. An appeal was made which invoked the First Amendment right of religious freedom, but it was denied and she got her bad conduct discharge and a reduction in rank,
Sadly, the Air Force is violating Federal Law DoDl 1300.17 which plainly allows freedom of religious expression in all branches of military service. Some anti-Christian complainers made a complaint against some Academy cadets who wrote some positive, encouraging Bible verses on their personal white-boards, and thus were pressured by their chain of command to erase the Bible.
Under policies initiated by Obama which are still in force, chaplains have faced ridicule and have lost the ability to serve their nation because they chose to obey God rather than man, and have been charged with “being guilty of treason,” “committing acts of ‘spiritual rape,’” and even “assault,” and “Declaring them ‘enemies of the Constitution.’’’
The story of Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt is well-known to many. He was a Navy Chaplain when the order was given that any chaplain who prayed in Jesus’ name outside of a Sunday Chapel could be court-marshalled. He did pray in public using Jesus’ name, and was honorably discharged, but lost his 16-year career and his pension.
But the story doesn’t end there. 520 newspapers and over 300,000 citizens and 35 pro-family groups rallied to his cause and petitioned the President to reverse the Navy’s policy of targeting believers in Christ. In time Congress did comply and restored the rights of chaplains to freely express their faith and to pray in Jesus’ name. And it is my understanding that Klingenschmitt was eventually exonerated.
This was only one victory as opposed to numerous assaults by the atheist agents of Satan who are seeking to make our nation “One Nation Under Satan” rather than “One Nation Under God.” This latter phrase originated on June 14, 1954, when President Dwight Eisenhower signed a bill to insert the phrase “One Nation Under God” into the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance that children recited every morning in school. Sadly, that phrase has been removed in many places today.
Dr. Ben Carson, whom my wife and I met some years ago, said “As Christians, the Bible calls us to be salt and light to influence our culture.”

During one of my recent playthroughs I accidentally had a superhuman ruler thrust upon me. His stats and traits were so good, that a year after pledging fealty to HRE, the emperor was murdered by someone (as in actually wasn't me this time, I wanted a vassal experience run), and unanimously elected the new emperor.
Dude ruled for seventy years. Seventy. He was winning jousting and melee tournaments at 80 years old. Siring children in his nineties. Establishing dynastic ties all over Europe. A true golden age.
I'm now his great-grandson. I think. Some weird Lannister vibe random events made me question the validity of the official family tree. There is not a single Christian kingdom in existence where arranging marriage does not result in the "these characters are related" message. God-Emperor Great-Grandpa had close to 40 kids over 6 marriages in his life. That's the official count, doesn't include the bastards from events and other things. The dynasty has hundreds of living characters now spread over dozens of cadet branches. The next generation I'm seeing pop up in surrounding kingdoms are starting to get negative inherited traits by default. Some are inbred. True aristocratic experience, but my current guy (read, me playing him) dreaded producing an heir because literally everyone in Europe is his cousin of some degree from Iberia to Zaporozhia.
He marries a commoner. It wasn't planned but he had a random fling on a hunt and a year later she showed up at court with a Herculean baby son. Cue marriage and legitimisation. Of course my guy's lord cousins rebel and form alliances with the independent king cousins.
The French king hates me, his cousin/nephew/whateverthehellelse (what happened there, Capets?!), the electors are refusing to acknowledge my perfectly normal legitimised bastard son by my commoner wife, and now it all seems ready to collapse. I've been rebuffing claimant wars for a decade. FML, what do?

How did you like them? Are you excited for the book?
Personally I was relieved that they quickly found Ires. Because it makes sense - there is no more people to guard him. My heart totally flip flopped and seized when he reached out and squeezed Poppy’s hand 🥺 and then asked about his “other girl.”
I’m convinced Casteel is descended from Attes now for sure. I was debating between Theon/Leilah (they helped create Atlantia) and Attes (Casteels dimples and Setti). When he stood up to Nektas, that reminded him of his “descendant”, and it was when Casteel was being aggressive. It has to be the primal of war and accord that he’s descended from. Not the new gods of war and accord (Theon and his twin)
Though I was a bit put off by Nektas. Though I think that was the point. I loved him in the prequel series, but he obviously doesn’t trust Poppy because he doesn’t know her. But it threw me off when he then called Kieran, Cas, and Delano “adorable”? Like why did that put me off a bit? I felt like that was a bit out of character and strange from the wise character I know from the prequel series. But I’m no JLA obviously haha. And he still doesn’t have a shard of trust for poppy, even though he trusted Sera? I thought he was wise enough to perhaps see some goodness in Poppy. And would stop putting her down. But I get he’s afraid of the prophecy.
Can’t believe there wasn’t a bigger deal about Poppy falling into stasis. It was just like whatever, she’s asleep. When is anyone gonna tell her or Casteel how Primals should take care of themselves?? Both reaver and Nektas are so aloof. But I guess that’s how JLA is keeping the plot going…. shrugs poppy doesn’t know what’s happening to her so stuff keeps happening to her.
I can’t wait to read the last book in the prequel series. Sera loses her memories after her stasis?!?!
I didn’t like the part where Casteel talks of his previous life before poppy (which is gonna be the whole book. groans) it just felt like it was forced / too much fluff.

So CA has been very clear that their plans for Pharaoh are purely historical, and I salute them for that. The historical fans deserve a break. But Egyptian mythology strikes me as a very fascinating place to try and do a fantasy war game because it's so different from a lot of mythologies like the Greek, Norse, Chinese, Mesopotamian, etc.
Egypt has a lot of detailed mythological cycles about conflict among the gods, but relatively little about the gods interacting with mortals. It's almost entirely devoid of legendary hero epics, which is where in other mythologies we'd get a lot of examples of magic weapons, monsters, and sorcery. Here are a few thoughts:

• Priest-Sorcerers: In Egyptian culture there was relatively little distinction between priests and sorcerers. The Greeks or Romans would have ritualized magic in their temples and with their priesthoods, but if you wanted a guy to come cast a spell on your house to keep scorpions out you'd pay some disreputable gutter sorcerer. In Ancient Egypt these roles were combined, so you'd pay the local temple to send out a priest to do the scorpion-repelling ritual. Limiting the player's access to magic via their relationships with the various religious cults could be an interesting mechanic. The Pharaoh is essentially a much more powerful form of this, a god-king as opposed to a sorcerer-priest, and his powers would naturally be even more significant, though perhaps in different forms such as more directly getting the gods to intercede in human events. If sorcerer-priests handled army-level magic the Pharaoh might handle much larger scale campaign-map magic.
  
• Wilderness Monsters: Egyptian mythology doesn't really have many "species" of monsters like other mythologies. You have one-off monsters lime Ammet, the eater of souls, but not whole groups like centaurs or satyrs. It's likely they actually did have beliefs in this sort of stuff, and their own heroic epics, but it just didn't survive into the modern day. What we do have is a lot of art of monsters, including sphinxes, serpopards (leopards with long snakes for their head/neck), griffins, and other chimeric hybrids. These creatures are often depicted alongside gods or in wilderness scenes, suggesting the Egyptians had their own ideas about the sorts of dangers that lurked in the deserts and reeds beyond civilization proper. You'd have your work cut out for you defining what these creatures do since we don't have any really written lore, but it's a place to start. There's at least one depiction of a god riding a chariot drawn by griffins, a unit like that could be a lot of fun.
  
• Ghosts, not Mummies: There aren't really any ancient Egyptian stories about mummies or revenants. There are a few about ghosts, and if the dead take their vengeance upon the living in Egyptian traditions it's usually in this form. The Egyptians had a very complicated system for describing the human soul, with it having multiple parts representing multiple aspects of human consciousness. You could probably get a few units out of the concept of conjuring different parts of the soul as ethereal ghosts. The usual term for a harmful ghost was mut.
  
• Chaos Serpents and Demons: There are a few references in Egyptian writing and art to what the Egyptologist Geraldine Pinch called "chaos serpents." These seem to be wholly hostile creatures to humanity and have elements reminiscent of serpent dragons in European folklore, such as being able to regenerate if cut in half. Thematically they seem connected to the arch-demon Apep and the concept of primordial chaos predating the creation of the known world by the gods. Primordial chaos was conceived as a vast dark ocean from which the gods created life and land, and demons in Egyptian tradition are often associated with water, some elements of which seem to survive into later Islamic folklore. Demons in the Egyptian tradition are hybrids of human and dangerous water animals, like the crocodile or hippo, but also sometimes human/object hybrids, with knives or torches instead of human heads, or distorted human forms with backwards faces. They often have colorful names like "Blood-Drinker Who Comes From the Slaughterhouse" or "Backward Facing One Who Comes From the Abyss." These demons were thought to try and devour human souls on their way to the underworld but could also attack the living, and a lot of Egyptian magic is about controlling or constraining these demons. That said, they were often thought of as being under the overall authority of the Gods, so some would have an amoral character capable of being threats to humans or servants of divine will/wrath. Chaos Serpents seem to be an exception, though; they are almost exclusively depicted as inimical to humans and gods alike. Demons as units in a fantasy game, or as parts of magic spells/rituals, both have a lot of options. An Apep/Chaos themed evil faction could also be a lot of fun.
  
• Bau, the Sendings of the Gods: Similar but distinct from demons are the concept of bau. Egyptian gods were thought to be capable of dividing themselves into multiple entities, and while sometimes they might send demons as messengers they would also send their bau, which can be sort of thought of as avatars or projections of the gods - not as powerful, but still representing their will. For example, the Seven Arrows of Sekhmet were a group of bau sent to enact divine wrath in the form of torment and disease, while the god Khons projected two baboon-shaped bau who kept lists of everyone that was supposed to live or die in a given year. Again, tying access to these entities into a robust religious cult mechanic could be an interesting approach.
  
• Magic and heka: Heka is usually considered the Egyptian word for magic, meaning a sort of essential creative force, sometimes personified as a minor god. Every living thing is born with greater or lesser amounts of heka. The gods, naturally, came into existence with vast amounts of heka and used that to create the world. Humans are born with variable levels of heka. A Pharaoh, of course, would have a lot of it. Other people might have a little or a lot, and this is usually what determines who has sorcerous powers. If a mythic/fantasy Egypt game had something similar to historic games where your characters age and die trying to make sure you found those who had strong reserves of heka that you could direct into the priestly cults to become sorcerers could be a sort of resource to manage.
  
• Ushabti: I don't want to dwell on this too much since it figures so significantly in Warhammer but the idea of sorcerers animating clay statues is present in some Egyptian stories. Ushabti were normally buried with the dead, intended to serve them in the afterlife, but in some stories they could be brought to life to serve the currently living, acting like automatons. The difference is Ushabti in Egyptian tradition were small, not the giant war-statues of the Tomb Kings in WH. They're a minor element but you could still make them a unit in a fantasy war game, maybe as a sort of cheap chaff infantry that can be recruited by sorcerer-priests using their heka to animate the little clay statues, as opposed to paying soldiers. A good stop-gap option in times of crisis, assuming you have enough sorcerer-priests to keep up the waves of expendable clay dwarfs.
  

Anyway, these are just a few general ideas on what I thought might be a fun topic to discuss. I don't really expect that we'd ever get a game like this but talking Egyptology can be fun for its own sake.

I don't like that many of the things I enjoy as art, even many things that had a positive impact on my development, are tainted by abuses and crimes of the creators behind it, or abuse of people was directly involved in the making of it. I feel sad because the list of "ruined childhood" stuff I have includes what I consider to be some of the best music and writing.
But I can't ignore the abuse that happened and that makes it uncomfortable for me to enjoy.
Now many things are simply “ruined” for me, as in, the creator’s words or actions have been so dispicable as to taint my memory of, and enjoyment of, the thing I enjoyed as a kid.
I’m including jr. high and high school even though for much of that, I felt mature for my age mentally.

Cartoons: Rick and Morty's Justin Roiland is a domestic abuser.

• TV Shows: Nickelodeon, especially the sliming and the gags in shows like All That, are now sus to me since I know that at that time Nickelodeon was under the influence of a pedo producer.
• Movies: Anything produced or promoted by Harvey Weinstein or written by/directed by/ starring “canceled” people like Woody Allen. I don't just mean canceled as in "one crazy person got mad on Twitter about some random bullshit" but no I mean when they actually hurt people.
• Also, I know that many movies I love tortured the actors, especially Stanley Kubrick, who is still one of my favorite directors, perhaps even THE favorite.
• Music:
  • R. Kelly. (Love the music, can’t stand hearing it now thinking about his victims.)
  • Many famous musicians committed intimate partner violence and were abusive as partners. John Lennon is probably the one who broke my heart the most, but I like that he made a song apologizing (Woman).
  • David Bowie is one of my favorite musicians but he had some sort of relationship with a teenage girl. It may have been a brief blip in a long career for him, but I could see her as a Penny Carson type of thing, and even that much turns my stomach.
  • Elvis married a teenager, but you could argue social norms about marriage were different then. But still it makes me feel icky.
  • Elvis Costello's racist rant about wanting to kick out all immigrants which was the inspiration for the "against the wall" part in The Wall by Pink Floyd. Idk I imagined that it was recreating a real Nazi rally, not simply re-stating and exaggerating for shock value what a beloved mainstream musician actually said.
  • The fucking racism in the music industry - another reason I can't really enjoy Elvis music anymore, knowing he stole his shit from black people who were incredibly talented and didn't get the pay and recognition they deserved for their contributions to music history that were stolen.
  • Kanye West. Dear gods...
• Books:
  • Harry Potter - victim of the author’s inability to leave trans people alone.
  • Orson Scott Card was also a Mormon and anti-gay marriage, but that incident looks quaint compared to current controversies, but it does make me a bit uncomfortable to support someone who thinks my relationship ought to be illegal.
  • Brandon Sanderson being a Mormon makes me uncomfortable as well. I do have ex-Mormon friends, but I also have an aunt who is currently a Mormon. I don't see them as all bad but I don't enjoy supporting anyone financially if they in turn give a large portion of that income to an actively anti-LGBTQ religion.
• Stonedrug comedy: now that marijuana is legal, and I've experienced it, and I know what many drugs are like from research, I know that a lot of that stuff is extremely inaccurate, making me unable to enjoy the “comedy” of it.
• Sex comedy: mostly hasn’t aged well. Has a lot of trivializing rape and sexual assault, cross-dressing as a punch line per se, etc. Stalking and using aggressive, some might even say terrorist/criminal, methods of "getting laid" in 80s comedies was all "good fun" and I cannot. Those are sex crimes.
• Video Games: Ugh… Literally where to even start?
• Japanese culture: I used to idolize a culture that's actually very xenophobic, sexist, and they did war crimes they refuse to own up to.
• American culture: ditto. It's also the most arrogant country in the world and I hate how Americans are always putting down other cultures without knowing shit about them.

Why are they ruined?

• Empathy for living victims. If there’s no living victims of someone anymore, or if they’re already dead, I’m a bit kinder to them (Tolkien, Kipling, etc.). But when I know that there are real people whose lives have been ruined or who have been hurt badly by a certain content creator, I cannot in good conscience enjoy the content anymore. And it ruins it for me to always be thinking about the suffering of the victims.
• Concern for the impact of the author's influence. If a person who's not very influential says some dumb Nazi bullshit, it won't have the same impact as a famous and well-admired person doing the same. This is also why I care more about living creators.

Sorry it's just so frustrating and it makes me too upset to even like new shows. It's hard for me to get into new things.
Like it feels like I should just give up. Everything betrays you and the world is full of shocking amounts of abuse and violence. Idk how to even live with this sometimes...

Titles I am looking for

Some of my favorite games are RDR2, Ghost of Tsushima, The Witcher 3, God of War, Horizon games, and TLOU. What games would you recommend me based on my favorites? I've played the Assassins Creed games as well, they're okay, but I want to play something incredible with a great dramatic story (like the games I've mentioned) and descent gameplay as well with some open world. I have an interest in Bloodborne, but knowing the Souls games, they aren't really story based are they? I like good non repetitive combat (I'm looking at you Assassin's Creed), is Bloodborne or Sekiro a good choice for my description though? And if you guys have any recommendations please say.
Btw other games I've played are Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, and all the GTA games, and etc., I haven't played any Uncharted game though. So yeah I'd like some recommendations.

So I'm a big fan of One-Hand Dagger builds in this game, and here is the most fun and one of the most damaging build I could come up with.

Start with Dirwin. He starts with a dagger and his ¨Sharp Eye¨ traits work really well.

Skills:
​
lv 1: Double Lunge, Gaping Wound.
​
lv 2-5: Quick Hands, From the Shadows, Painful Stabs, Weakening Jabs.(Lvl up Preception to 15) Note you will need to save up 1 skill point at lvl 4.
​
Buy Warfare book at Governor in Mannshire.
​
lv 6-7: Seize the Initiative, Right on Target (Lvl up Strength to 12).
​
lv 8-9: Lvl 8-9 have a few options you can go Opportune Moment and War Cry for some Energy replenishment and crit dmg/chance, or you can go athletics and pick up the skills Disengage and Dash (Note you will need a athletics II to unlucky Dash) (Lvl up Strength to 14)
​
lv 10-11: Deadly Trick, Coup de Grace. (Lvl up Strength to 16)
​
lv 12-13: Pick up the skill you didn't pick at Lvl 8-9 if possible. If it's not possible buy the books for Magic Mastery and Electromany, and pick the skill Jolt and Seal of Power (You can buy the book in Mannshire at Uanr). (Lvl up Strength to 18)
​
lv 14-15: If you haven't pick the skills Jolt and Seal of Power, you do that now. If you did pick skill Jolt and Seal of Power, try to get Residual Charge if possible, it's a big spike in dmg, and the second will be whatever you miss at Lvl 8-9. (Lvl up Strength to 20)

The rest is up to you.

Armor:
​
I would recommend light armor, you can mix it up with medium armor if you want, this build is not that heavy on your Energy. Don't go heavy armor because you don't really get any Energy replenishment skills.
Enchantments on your armor will be Dodge Chance/Energy/Energy Restoration/Health.
​
Weapons:
​
Early game you will be look for Rondel and it not that hard to get, you can get it as a drop from the second dungeon you, if you are lucky. (Drops from the boss)
The Rondel will carry you through early game and a good bid in to mid game. After the Rondel, you go for Misericorde and the Elevn Stiletto.
Enchantments on your wearpon will be one of Crit Efficiency/Crit Chance/Life Drain/Weapon Damage.

Jewelry:
​
Fang Amulet for the Crit Chance/Efficiency and you get it with 2 Enchantments on it. Rings is up to you, there is a lot of good ones like: Gold Diamond Ring, Berserk Ring, Silver Topaz Ring, Brass Agate Ring.
Enchantments the same as armor.
​
Belt:
​
Embroidered Belt, Duelist Belt, Gilded Nobleman Belt.
​
If you where wounding what I had in mind for lv 30 stats, it would be:

Preception: 20

And max out the Dagger skill tree and the rest in to Warfare and Athletics. You don't really wanna skill anything else up in the Electromancy skill tree. You could skill a few things up in the Magic Mastery skill tree other then Seal of power, like: Body and Spirit, Seal of Reflection.

I wrote this in reply to a hurtful and ignorant expression if bigotry that basically tried to undermine Pride Month by suggesting that 'Veterans only get a day and went through horrific things, so why do LGBTQ+ folks get a whole month?'

I'm a retired US Army Warrant Officer, i.e. an expert technical advisor to commanders and responsible for the ethical and efficient administration of a war-fighting, force-multiplying program. I deployed 5 times and served with conventional units as well as SF and SOF missions. I was a Platoon Sergeant before I became a Warrant Officer.
I don't need you to paint me as a victim in order to justify bigotry against our LGBTQ community. I volunteered for that and got paid. for it
I'm a bisexual man, for the record. I went to Iraq, South America, and Afghanistan. But I never came out to anyone in uniform. Being a Soldier and facing enemy combatants was infinitely easier than facing the social stigma and family shunning that I feared would occur if I came out.
Others served alongside me who were openly gay, trans. They were, to a one, exceptional people and brave, capable Soldiers with whom I would (and sometimes did) trust my life and the lives of my unit. They are better people than me. They are braver.
Why do you talk about veterans and our LGBTQ community as though we did not serve? We continue to wear the uniform, and we do not want our service to be dismissed or ignored so people can whine about an imaginary injustice to the veterans as though we aren't there at the VA too.
Sure, I've been in a firefight; been a little too close for comfort to incoming IDF (mortars). In fact, I almost got medically discharged when one explosion took most of my hearing. There were some scary days. Sone heartbreaking days. But they are only a few days out of many.
But people in the LGBTQ+ community fight every single day: against the slurs, the discrimination, the hate, the glares, and, yes, the death threats.
Are the wounds of their souls worth less than mine, earned in a different kind of fight?
I say, "No." They are better, braver, stronger in so many ways than I ever was.
Pride month is for people who don't think that we should be able to exist, who want to legislate whom we can love, whom we can marry, who we can be. I defy this kind of tyranny, and I'll stand the line against it.
I chose to be a Soldier. I had a choice.
I was born queer. I cannot change who I am, even if by great personal discomfort I can suppress it when threatened with hate because of who I am.
I'm lucky. I "pass" as cis-gendered and straight. My life isn't a constant battle just to claim my God-given right to exist; many of my trans family here are not so lucky.
These others - those who cannot "pass", whose identity is forever challenged and denied them, are perhaps better, braver, stronger people than me. Too many of them give up on ever being accepted and kill themselves. I am fighting for their lives now with a voice I kept quiet for too long, just as I fought for my teammates in combat zones.
Pride month is only a month long because people need a month to see that we. Are. Here. And. Normal. Prick us, and do we not bleed? But we are shunned, stoned in some parts of the world; told wherever we go that we are lesser, shameful, unworthy.
We are among the 'downtrodden' and 'lowly' that Jesus asked people to care for.
Instead people sling slurs and hatred our way.
If you ask me, Pride Month is too short a time, not too long.
And anyone who wants to talk about it can step outside with me. But you won't like the results because I am sick and tired of ceding ground in some bullshit, made-up culture war of hate.

I'm only 200 pages or so into DoD so please hide any text that reveals further context in the book. Currently not planning on reading the other series though so happy to hear from those if they answer this concept
The events of the deck of dragons reading in Letheras references Crump hating necromancers. This reminded me that there was connections in a previous book between the Jaghut and the Mott irregular swamp, I think it's even implied that they might be related to Jaghut as they are so hardy (We see the Bole brothers hold down the Jaghut Sorceress in TtH). Someone (Crone?) reveals to Kallor in TtH that the Jaghut waged a war on death itself many years back.
So essentially I was wondering if we can draw from these details that the Jaghut war on death took place in, or centered around the Mott Irregular swamp. We know they are connected to Jaghut there somehow. The Motts are inherently adverse towards necromancy which might be a remnant belief of fighting a war against death. They also worship(?) a Salamander god who always manages to escape death, regrows his tail (rebirth imagery) and laughs about the process.
Maybe it's a RAFO but if there's no more direct mention of it in the main series I would love to hear others thoughts

So just a timeline I made. Still not done with it as the Sol Alliance history is thousands and thousands of years. The story this is used for is one where the monsters, demons, angels, fairy tales, amd gods existed but they were mechs from a previous universe The mechs are called Nocturn and are sleeping. The entire story takes place within Sol against an alien invasion of a species called Harbingers. Humanity has also never left Sol because we've terraformed every planet and moon as well as creating artifical moons planets and suns. At best we've exploited the resources of other solar systems by sending drones but never actually colonize.

But the spelling mistakes within the timeline are because I typed on my phone. And if you're typing to fast the phone doesn't pick up what button you pressed. Anyways here's the incomplete history of the Sol Alliance.

2076: Humanity realizes plans for the first interstellar vessels.
2083: Drones launched to Mars to build the first buildings for the first colonists.
2186: First Interstellar Starship, the UNSS Mirror launches. Carrying with it the first colonists of Mars.
2110:Talk about becoming their own civilization or planetary government increases.
2115: Discussion with the UN begins.
2120: UN finally approves of Mars gaining its own planetary government. The reason being they can tax Mars.
2121: Mars Democratic Alliance established.
2125: Immigration from Earth to Mars increases.
2135: Earthian tech companies heavily taxed on Mars. Excuse being that Earth tech companies are exploiting the data of Martian citizens.
2136: United Nations demands increased taxes from Mars.
2137: Earth tech companies banned from Mars.
2139: Earth increases taxes even more on Mars.
2140: Martians vote in moderate, Alicia May for President. She is able to negotiate decreased taxes at the deal of Mars, lowering the number of military ships and troops.
2143: Tensions simmer down between Mars and Earth. Martian culture begins to flourish.
2150: Alicia May steps down from President. Pro-Earth Sympathizer, Andrew Sutton voted President.
2157: Disaterious deal made. UN offers President Sutton a deal. UN would grant Mars more autonomy if they allow the UN to have a few repersentives within the Martian government. President Sutton agrees.
2160: President Sutton made a figurehead for the Earth government.
2170: Relations between Earth and Mars start to break down. (First Pseudo true AI created. AI was created in Austrila. This Pseudo AI named Bunyip.)
2173: The growing tension leads to the dissolution of the United Nations. United Alliance of Earth Nations is formed. Formed from all countries of Earth.
2174: Martian sympathy among Earth citizens is brutally stamped out by the world government.
2175: Martian factory production begins accelerating. Mars accepts Earth citizens fleeing from Earth oppression. United Alliance of Earth Nations demands that the Mars Democratic Alliance cease all activity. Demand goes unanswered.
2176: Earth begins accelerating production of own military.
2181: Earth embassy in Mars capital is bombed by Martian Nationalists. Leads to the deployment of a peacekeeping force.

2186: Pro-Martian sentiment on rise. Leads to riot of Neo-Yorkshire. The United Alliance of Earth Nations loses control of Neo-Yorkshire. In Neo-Paris, peacekeeping forces stamp out riots. Known as the Massacre of Neo-Paris.

2187: Because of numerous reasons, including not repenending Earth for sending a peacekeeping force, President Sutton is voted out of office. A pro Martian national, Louis Velasquez, voted as a new president.
2188: President Velasquez demands that Earth's peacekeeping force leave Mars. Threatens war. Peacekeeping force recalled as pro-Martian sympathy on the rise on Earth
2190: Tension is at an all-time high between Mars and Earth.
2192: Propaganda begins to be published on both Earth and Mars.
2193: Drafting of soldiers on Earth is increased. Immigration from Earth is banned. Ships not of military origin are shot on sight.
2194: Recruitment of soldiers on Mars begins. President Velasquez promises to help refugees who want to escape Earth. His speech will go down as hopelessly idealistic for much of history. He is able to allow 50 ships to leave Earth, having the Martian Navy escort the fleeing refugees.
2195: President Velasquez is assassinated by UAEN Intelligence Service. The MDA is thrown into disarray. Elections are put off for two years. Mars is run by a temporary council.
2196: It is discovered that the assassination was a plot of the UAEN. Any Pro Earth Sympathy on Mars falls.
2197: Elections finally begin. War Hawk, Reina Cancino, voted as new president. Having witnessed the Massacre of Neo-Paris, President Sutton's first speech fuels Martian sentiment for indepence and vengeance.
2198: First inter solar war in human history. The Tears of Sol War between United Alliance of Earth Nations and the Mars Democratic Alliance.
2202: MDA captures the UAEN military base on the moon called Artemis.
September 2206: MDA launches invasion of Earth's surface. First countries to fall are those of Westren Europe. Martians are brutal against the populace
October 2206: Riots within Westren Europe. Martians begin losing control of Westren Europe.
November 2206: MDA executes large swaths of Western Europe population. Some are used as test subjects. Martian sympath drops heavily. UAEN launches large counterattacks. Western Europe residence cells coordinate with the UAEN Defense Military.
January 2207: UAEN drives MDA from Earth. Most MDA ground forces are captured and held prisoner.
May 2027: UAEN executes 50% of prisoners on public broadcast. Thr UAEN brodcaste the executions to Mars as well. Execution methods include decapitation, stake burning, and firing squad. Retaliation for the attempted genocide of Eastren Europe. MDA vows increase in their war effort.
July 2207: MDA deploys the Singularity, a new orbital interstellar ship. The largest solar system has seen at the time. It would take 20 years to arrive at Earth due to its size. MDA plans to turn Earth into glass, calling the operation, Operation Hellfire.
December 2210: UAEN votes on what is dubbed the Nova Initiative. Passes with 293 votes over 89 votes.
January 2211: Nova Initative enters startup phase. the Marianas Trench Facility is built.
June 2211: Nova Initiative enters trial phase. Use of live test subjects permitted. The remaining MDA captives are used.
October 2211: Completion of the Nova Initiative. All test subjects declared deceased. UAEN Intelligence deploys a virus on the Martian colony of Neo London. 99% of the population deceased. The symptoms of virus include, blood in urine, blood in cough, necrosis of skin, lethargy, intense pain with no discernable cause that lasts five to twenty seconds, rash, pus filled pustules, and shut down of organs. The symptoms happen over a short period of time.
November 2211: After successful deployment of what in the future would be known as the Nova Virus. Deployment happens in several other Martian cities. And the same fate awaits them as Neo London.
April 2212: Cease fire declared. Martians are giving independence but forced to enter alliance with the UAEN. The Tears of Sol War has the largest death toll in human history so far. Death Toll is in the billions. Memorial set up on Earth and Mars. So that the war will never be forgotten
2216: Relations still poor between Earthians and Martians. (New breakthroughs in medical technology lead to several diseases from bacteria and viruses being wiped out).
2228: First interplanetary children between Martians and Earthians is born. (Naegleria fowleri declared extinct.)
2230: The birth of Martian music genre called Netruon. This music genre is heavy elctronic music with an industrial undertones.
2232: Neutron becomes popular on Earth, raising the relations between the two worlds.
2238: Inspired by Neutron, Earth makes an Earth version that they call Pulsar. This genre of music is heavy electronics with synthetic style sounds.
2239: Martian movie director Ethan Santora teams up with Earthian movie director Henrick Osengar to create a movie depecting the realty of the war. Hailed as one of the best war movies of all time.
2240: First True AI, Karma, created by Earthian and Martian societies. Test begin in on Demois city Neo-Boston
2245: Success of Karma, Neo-Boston turned into a paradise of sorts. Beginning of the Followers of Karma, a cult based around the worship of the AI Karma.
2301: UAEN and MDA relations have gotten stronger. Formation of the Sol Alliance is proposed.
2302: Sol Alliance is formed.
2305: New breakthrough in terraforming technology. The terraforming technology uses techno-organic nanomachines to shape the planets. These nanomachines reduce what would take hundreds of thousands of years to just 100 years. Drones carrying these nanomachines are sent to every moon and planet in the solar system.
