Oiled bronze shower fixtures

My skin turned VERY oily back in March this year, out of the blue. With the change came closed comedones all over my cheeks and acne along my temples. I can accept the acne but I turn into a greasy mess an hour after washing my face. I can practically see each pore oozing with oil. Setting powders only last me 4 hours, make up slides off my face by noon and to make it worst, I live in a topical country. It is warm all year round and that just exacerbates the oiliness.
I am conscious of the grease and that is all I think about when I am outside. If I am home and not working, I am all over Reddit and google searching up for ways to change this. It has taken over me. I no longer enjoy hobbies or do anything. I look at everyone’s face while I’m out, just to see if anyone else faces the same issue. I am going mad.
On top of it, I am sick of people telling me that I am dehydrated, to moisturise or that this happened as I stripped off the natural oils off my face. That is unlikely the case. I might not have an extensive routine but I did use a cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen daily. I never wash my face more than twice a day and I always drink water. Then the comments on how oily people don’t get wrinkles and to ‘embrace it’ as well. Yes, a little oil is helpful in aging and I don’t want to be dried and shrivelled but not like this. Not this much oil. I am bordering excessive!
It’s frustrating. I cannot go on accutane and this doesn’t seem to qualify as hormonal so spiro is out too. I can’t even remember if my skin used to be so greasy in my early 20s. I took a round of accutane back then but because I was having bad acne. It cleared up but I honestly cannot remember if it helped with the grease or if I was even as oily back then.
Shortly after, I was diagnosed with an auto immune condition. I’m unsure if that round of accutane triggered this but there are reports of patients suffering from the same condition while on or after accutane which spooked me off the idea of going on a second round. But because of my auto immune condition, I was on prednisone for 2.5 years. My skin was a dream. Unlike most people on the steroid, I had no acne, my skin was smooth and poreless within that time. I went into remission and tapered off successfully. For a year or so after, up until March, my skin remained clear.
Then this happened (along with body acne which is moderately manageable but still gives me grief at times).
I am exhausted. Mentally, I would like to let this go but I get incredibly depressed when I shower, touch my face or even look at the mirror. It’s making a dent in my self esteem which you can probably tell by now is already non existent. I have gone to a therapist early on but due to financial issues, I have had to stop. I know this is such a first world issue but all I want is to stop feeling dirty in an hour after washing my face. I just want to stop waking up with an oil slick for a face. I don’t know what to do. All I know if this continues, I might go mad.

I had dry, coarse a very long time. I used all sorts of products, all to no avail and still that dry hay-like hair that caused a mass of frizz. That's until I found this method; the greenhouse effect. It's basically a way to force your hair to absorb moisture overnight (or in 3-4 hours). Yes, it may be slightly uncomfortable in your bed or throughout the day but trust me, it's totally worth it. I came out with frizz-free, defined curls
Product you need: Leave in conditioner (I use Shea moisture) Coconut oil (or any oil you have I just prefer coconut cause it smells nice) Plastic shower cap Curl cream (optional)
Instructions:

1. Shampoo and condition your hair in the shower, cleaning it thoroughly.
2. Coming out the shower, leave your hair dripping wet. Get some leave-in conditioner and SCRUNCH it is, making sure you cover all area of your hair evenly. You can also detangke with your fingers with this.
3. Get a small amount of coconut oil and allow to melt in your hands before also scrunching evenly in your hair.
4. Place your plastic hair cap on your hair while it's STILL WET and leave overnight or for 3-4 hours. You should see droplets of water forming on the top and that's good; it means your bodies heat is allowing the water to condense from the top of your head to the cap, forcing some of the water to be absorbed.
5. In the morning, take off your shower cap. You hair should still be slightly wet. Allow it to air dry and put your (optional) curl cream on your hair. Within an hour, it should be dry and you can admire your luscious locks with minimal frizz!!

Pretty much the title.
Wore a Nike replica jersey for the first time on Saturday. Now, to spare the rest of the crowd from the unpleasant smells that come from wearing polyester, I applied some Deo after showering (made sure it had no aluminum salts or mineral oils) and while it did it's job without problems I noticed a faint smell of fragrance even after machine washing it.
It doesn't smell bad mind you! Just slightly perfumed around the arm pit areas.
My only concern is that a build up of different odors might render the jersey unwearable in the future.
I am aware that wearing an undershirt might avoid this, although generally I don't feel comfortable doing so.
I was thinking about soaking the jersey in a 1:4 solution of white vinegar and warm water, though any other ideas are welcome.
As nasty as it sounds, I usually don't wear any deodorant while wearing any jerseys as I usually only use them to go on walks alone since I live in a quiet neighborhood and so far have never had any issues removing BO from them with a regular wash as per the label instructions.

It’s Memorial Day 2023 and at my job sitting in my office as the store manager of a retail box chain. The couple deployments in the big green uniform during the mid 2000’s cross my mind only once or twice and I cant decide how I feel about that. With the old big 40th birthday not but but a couple years around the corner, the southern beach town where i live and spent most of my childhood hasn't quite woken up yet. But here i am feeling something I hadn't felt in a long time. I feel surreal. That or I’m in shock.
I confronted my narc over her lack of commitment last weekend, after another game of midnight twister. Twister never was a issue with us, probably some of the best games ever played. Yall get it.
We have been in this long slow death spiral for over a year now but this feels like the end. I demanded to know why I was good enough to fuck but not good enough to be in a relationship. She spouted off about some lie she made up that i told. Then last Thursday, she again ask me to come over. I stand my ground and say no, that if I’m not good enough to tell your ex fiancé that i exist then I’m not having sex with you. Friday I look on Facebook and she hadn’t blocked me again but here’s she’s posting a picture of her packed truck headed where? You guess it……the northern state where “ex-fiancé” lives. You gotta be shitting me what’s wrong with this lady ? How long had that been planned and she left without saying a word. By now I’ve gotten to be an expert detective among other things. She's from a northern state The fiancé had lived with her down here a few years before moving back. Evidently She always went to enormous lengths to keep me away from the rest of her life. Now the whole house of cards is falling down. I basically call her a liar that there is nothing on between them. She went up there to help a relative move a few weeks back didn’t answer a single call or text all weekend. Completely ignored me. He was there with them the whole time. I asked why did the engagement end years back? Her answer left me utterly astonished. “I just didn’t love him like i I should have.” What the fuck does that mean? Whys he still around? Tell me all the whole truth. That was Friday and communication ended immediately and haven’t heard from her since. She hadn’t blocked me yet but will not respond. .Just silence as I slowly realized that every single thing she told me was all a lie. All the crazy accusations out of now where, all the lies she’s told her family about me were all in fact things she’d done to others or was doing to me. I learned early on in this what "projection" meant and the first time I told her I think she was doing it , she counter punched like she been holding a UNO reverse card up her sleeve. As the full weight of who this person actually was hit me, everything spiraled for me into the worst feeling of betrayal and despair I’d ever felt. This woman that i loved more than I’ve ever loved the one who promised me so many bullshit promises. The one who claimed to my friend and would never leave , had finally evolved into something i didn’t recognize. Something that was evil and dangerous. Boy i was so naive.
Let me tell you how this all began. We were both employed at the same outlet mall. I am in my mid late 30’s , she’s a bit older than me. Early mid 50’s. Blonde. Not a lot but enough tattoos and piercings to make you look twice. She was no super model but her body always had kinda driven me crazy.Right curves in all th right places. But the age difference could raise a eye nethertheless, I had always kinda had a crush on this lady but never really made a move. Just couldn’t draw up a play. Life went by and I eventually found my self living in what looking back was my PARADISE. My parents divorced in my early teens and my little brother and sister and I kinda never gained a sense of direction for many years. I found mine on a bus to to Fort Benning. If I was going to be in the Army, I couldn't tall the future grandkids i had that i changed the oil on humvees. It was Infantry for me and with 2 years of hugging my mom bye I found my self in Nuristan Province, Afghanistan. It was every thing you imagined it could be and more and i still sometimes kind of think to myself you went through some shit over there in the valley that 98% of people would never even dream of doing. And made it out relativity unscathed . Couple busted lips and a good old TBI to take with you but soldier on. My career really started trending upward after the first tour ended and I began dating a girl from near my hometown. Not too long after that we get married on the courhouse steps out of fear the next phone call could be a mission. 5 months later my convoy is just stepping outside the wire when the Red Cross Message comes in. Car Crash. Your wife. Her brother. Drunk driver crossed center line. Hit them head one while they were stopped at rural stop sign. No survivors. That's the first time my soul detached from my body.

The army at the time was big on taking these resiliency classes and preaching resiliency and over the years it kinda became my mantra. Life went on and seemed like I had made something out of myself I became engaged to beautiful woman who had been through thick and thin with me the past few years. She was what we call "good people " down here. She absolutely adored me and was totally out of my league. Grew up in the Florida Keys, ACC Division 1 Athlete, she made life look easy. We had a 2 story house at the end of the cul de sac. We had a large group of friends. She was the Coach of the church dance squad, I willed that softball team to 2 consecutive "playoff" appearances. Life was good.
Then about 5 or 6 months before our wedding date her first, my second chance, and that's when this our story here really kicks off. By the way huge southern wedding. It was amazing even though i was becoming stressed about all the constant planning, I had finally been promoted to management and was becoming burnt out. This lady,who would become my narc, these blonde hair woman with a free spirit who I'd known for some years ,one day she just, she just looked different. I can't describe it but there was something drawing me in that I felt powerless to stop. I remember the first time we locked eyes, we just held the stare for what seemed like forever until we were both out of breath and then looked at each like "WTF was that" I felt like electricity flowing through my body. A few weeks go by and we starting to find ways to be closer to each other until one day our hands actually grazed and it felt like every nerve in my body exploded. Life as I knew it at least, effectively ended that day. She had her hooks in. Didn't take me long find my self sneaking out the house in the middle of the night into her bedroom. The passion, the intensity was so great that I thought there's no way that cant be real. It was the most intense thing I'd ever experienced. I was totally wrapped before too long. As the wedding date loomed and my fiance became more and more suspicious, the narc would start planting these fantasies of how we could be together. Oh yea she was totally aware I was taken. We could buy a camper go out west raise goats. Runaway together...it sounded good. We spent our days fantasizing about running away together and staring into each others eyes. In the back of my head I already felt like this was my person. What do I do? Looking back those were that last days of innocence. I had no idea what was to become. My narc had all but flat out said if you want me you know what you have to do. The wedding comes and it the best day of my life. I do a pretty good job of not thinking about the narc. We actually go a whole week without seeing each or speaking. I almost thought to myself , " Well you' ve done a really shitty thing but your married to a really good woman so lets move on as best we can.
I lasted 3 weeks.
My narc tells me that as long as I am living under a roof with my wife, she will have nothing to do with me. Next thing you know I'm standing in our kitchen with my bags in my hands and the stupidest look on my face. I still cant explain why but the draw to this narc woman had me powerless. My poor wife lets me go she still doesnt know for sure whats going on and I tell her I just need some time I'm staying with a friend. I shack up with the narc and for the next week things are good. all things considered. This is around the time where I start to blow through red flags like I'm in a stolen Ferrari on Miami Blvd. The narc has family coming down from up north, a baby shower for one of the narcs daughters. The fact that narc is a grandma never bothered me. this is the first time hear abut the ex. Hes not the father of her daughters but he "raised them" and they consider him pops. I was very shocked and didnt have a clue what to say when I was told I needed to find a place to stay for the next 2 weeks, not enough room for everyone. I landed on a friends couch utterly confused and when i heard her daughters and her screaming because my employee name tag had been found in narcs bed, somebody might see it , I should have run far and fast then. I eventually made my way home, walked in the door and broke down in tears confessing it all to my wife. She told me we can work through this we will go to counseling whatever it takes. The one thing that was non negotioable was i was to leave my job immeditaly. I felt helpless- I wanted my wife I was already missing my old life by then. But I was making more money than I'd ever imagined I would and I come up from square 1 seven years ago, how could I tell the man who hired me the GM who would become mentocoach figure to me? I just couldn't. Narc catches wind I'm back home and one morning I'm out in the middle of this mall and she comes beelining towards me and right into front of EVERYONE delivers a left jab, right hook combo that would have made Teddy Atlas proud. I didn't flinch or wince I simply dropped my head in shame, saying I deserved that while she runs off making this strange guttural crying/screaming noise. What was I supposed to do I had no where else to go? Knowing what I know now, I was witnessing r my first narc rage. Things eventually calm down over the next 3 weeks but my wife had grown tired of waiting. I was around this narc everyday. been She moved back to Florida, giving me a month to find a place to live. I haven't seen her or spoken to her since AND that's not my choice. I think about her almost everyday and honestly I'll never forgive myself for breaking her heart the way I did. She was innocent and never deserved this.
I cannot understate how woefully unprepared for this I was. I was extremely naive, I had no clue what narcissism meant, I thought it meant you liked to look at yourself in a mirror.I never realized the dangling of the carrot or the manipulation and the complete total inability to admit wrong or have any form of accountably all were tied together , at least until much later .Now my narc starts saying we can only be together if I have my own place. Next thing you know I've found one and moved in. Man these carrots are actually quite tasty. Now begins a looong 4 5 months where she would accuse me of cheating or lying or some reason for us to not be officially a couple. But she would keep a trove of men she flirted with on social media , go out with with i don't think she slept around but definitely wasn't right.The double standard from hell. Life became a constant cycle of hot cold hot cold to the point where at any given time I had zero idea of whether so considered us to be together at that time or single. One of her go to plays was to dare me to walk away, but by then my entire network of family and friends had really zero desire to have anything to do with me because they had all been at this very expensive wedding not even a few months ago. I found a place to rent further inland , a little place out in the country. She had isolated me now, I just didn't know it, and honestly by this point I was becoming more desperate and desperate to make us work. I've sacrificed everything because i truly truely believed in her and us. I would have done anything she asked and i many times I did. Midway into last fall, I started noticing things that I dunno made me notice things. Something wasn't right.

1. She never once not one time ever said those 3 words. I love you I said them every time we got off the phone. To this day I've never heard her say it
   
2. Every holiday, every single one she would find a reason where I wasnt allowed to come over and be with her and her family. LIttle did I know the smear campaign was starting to fire on all cylinders.
   
3. The accusations of lying and or doing something I wasn't supposed to were becoming more frequent yet even when I would prove to her I was telling the truth, she never once has has said I'm sorry , I was wrong.
   

Red flags are more like advisories right?
Things progressed to the point where I start going to counseling/therapy because she has me so convinced I'm bad person. She accuses me of not going to appointments even when I Facetime her sitting beside the doctor. It amazes me to this day that no one could see her true colors. She is so good its downright dangerous.
I spent Christmas this year completely alone. She had her family and the usual flock of buzzards, hang arounds. By now I was getting the stretches of silent treatment. I was at my lowest of lows, Isolated, alone, lonely .......going down a dark road real fast. Same pattern of discard bring you back discard. I didn't even know who i was anymore by this point i was losing weight. I could hear the people whispering. She was killing me from the inside.
One thing finally happened that I'll never forget as long as I live. Her birthday had come aroud and since my narc conviently found a reasson as to why I couldn't come I begged for her to take the presents I had gottten with her. She put them in her car and drove away. I didnt think about it again until a week /later, I walking out the back door at work and here she is, at the dumpsters throwing the still wrapped birthday presents. I ask her what the hell? you didnt give them to her? What the hell ? WTF?? The answer I got as she looked me dead in the eyes sent a cold chill down my spine.
"I didn't give her the presents because I figured you would try to take em back just to hurt her." Stunned I muttered with what I am now sure was a face full of shock and disgust..."Honey she is 5 years old." I truly shocked me that a human would think of such a horrible scenario.

I didnt speak to my narc for a couple days after that. Another week, another brand new hot shot therapist looking for save the world. I have never been comfortable with the idea of therapy, I have too much man macho I guess. Its just always kinda been taboo. Nevertheless I finshed jabbering and she immediatly reaches in her desk and passed me a little pamplet. "Read this" she says. I look down -"What is a narcissist and are you in a relationship with one? By the time i finshed reading it, I was straight ugly crying on her floor. It felt like a MAC truck hit me square in the sternum. I was devestated. Literllaly every single bullet point I could point at and say yes. Its like hamy narc had this pamplet memorized and was running it like a well oiled machine. It finally was all making sense. Maybe Im not a horrible person after all?
I began to distance myself from her at this point and she went the tried and true method of total discard which inevidebly turned into full blown lovebombing which would lead to a steamy night together which she would then sabatoge. Rinse, wash repeat. The first trip back home she took I never could get a answer as to why i was ignored all weekend, she made me ignore her how dare you ask forget it happened. Same ol bs. Whch brings us back to today where this story began. I finally concluded that this is how every relanship my narc has ever had has been like this. Alll family turmoil ....it all made even more sense. Her lies have become near constant and I realized the first thing she ever said to me was a lie. Not only do I think I'm begginning understand what she is and what I became to her, I think she could be one of most dangerous kinds of these individuals the world has ever seen. She is still somewhat popular, nobody around her would ever have a clue. But I can see through it now. And she will never change because I have finally accepted the fact that she psychsilly cannot change. Her brain cant evem acklowdge things like being wrong. It breaks my heart that i feel so in love with someone who is incabple of love and thats when I realized I have to walk away.
This ended up being way more than I expected but once i started typing it just kept flowing out. I guess her spidey sense must have gone off because within the last hour she has began sending me messages on social media. Not her phone no but social media.
I replied simply are you going to ignore the elephant sitting over there?

I think I will struggle with this past year and a half for the rest of my life. This was something I was totally unprepared for. I think I can see light glimmering on the horizon and I feel grateful to understand what actually happened and I could have very easily given up, succumbed in, but I survived it.
It is what people like us do. We pick up the pieces, dust the dirt off and keep going.

Ramble over good night

I’m at my wits end with stinging, burning, and odd discharge. I’m going to put as a disclaimer: I have seen everything from a pelvic floor specialist, a vulvodynia specialist, to a urogynecologist.
I’ve always had issues that started after becoming sexually active 10 years ago, with brief moments of relief inbetween.
For the past year I’ve had never ending (new)issues. Urgent care kept telling me I had a uti and I spent last year on antibiotics. My urologist confirmed through my charts none of these were actual utis, but they treated me anyways. My obgyn has swabbed me 15 times and I never come back positive for any infections. She even ran a microgen test, and checked me for ureaplasma/mycoplasma. I then went and had 2 different evvy tests done myself, with ‘glowing’ results showing no yeast or disruptive bacteria.
Here’s my symptoms:
Burning that I can’t pinpoint at my vaginal opening or urethra.
Feels like urethra spams or a ‘poking feeling’.
I have NO pain during sex, but feel very raw the next day despite using plenty of lube. I’ve tried everything from coconut oil to uber lube to water based ones. Heavy exercise will also cause this. Friction. Tight clothes.
After ovulation I develop this watery discharge that has globs of white tissue looking pieces. I honestly wonder if this is my skin peeling off, it looks like wet toilet paper. There is so much of it- probably a tablespoon. If I pee, it floats in the bowl. When I have this, my symptoms are 10x worse. My labia feels sunburned, even things like walking or working my fast paced job become unbearable.
As a precaution I rarely have sex with my bf, use latex free condoms, shower before and after when I do, am addicted to drinking water, and avoid all fragrances/anything that could throw off my pH. I take dmanoose daily. I eat a very healthy diet. I don’t even wear underwear anymore and stick with cotton clothing.
I’m at wits ends and I can barely work my job like this before coming home most days and icing myself. The only time I have relief is if I’m laying down all day drinking copious amounts of water with an ice pack on me.
Do I try a dermatologist? I am so sick of me doctors telling me it’s anxiety based! Anxiety doesn’t cause weird discharge and redness!

So, for my cakeday I'm delving out some veteran advice for all you neophyte potheads on your way to becoming professional stoners, on how to deal with smell!

• Theres a joke that goes like this: [Stoner 1, asking his friend]: "Hey man, do I smell like weed?" [Stoner 2, replying to his friend]: "Naa man. Hey man, do I smell like weed?" [Stoner 1, in response]: "Naa man, we're all good man". The caption on this joke is "Two idiots who smell like weed". The lesson of this joke is that you smell like weed, and everyone knows it but you and your stoner friends... Always assume you smell like weed.
• Weed is a very distinct smell, and it sticks around. It lingers long after you're done smoking, and you leave a trail of the smell behind you when you walk indoors. Blunts are going to be your biggest offenders, followed closely by joints. They not only have the most potent smell, but due to the nature of smoking them, they imprint that smell on your body, your clothing, your face, your fingers, your hair and your breath. Next in line is going to be your standard glass or metal pipes, and it is important to remember the more you play with your weed (for instance, touching the weed to pack it down or press the "cherry", popping the carb, etc), the more smell is going to stick to your fingers. Bongs have the next lowest footprint, but one important thing to remember is if you're indoors, that smoke is still sticking to your skin, hair and clothing, and its going to be on your breath. Outdoors is a little better, the more ventilated the better, but then also remember that the smell is going to carry on the wind and is going to be pretty obvious in a big bubble all around you (a good rule of thumb is to assume the smell is going to carry for at least 50-100 feet). The least stinky option is a (cartridge) vape pen, but even these can still leave a pretty distinct odor to those who know what they're smelling. Actually, the least stinky is going to be an edible or drinkable, but for the purposes of smokers, you know what I'm getting at.
• The harder you try to cover up the smell, the worse you are going to smell and the more obvious it is going to be what you're doing. When you burn incense indoors, you make it smell like weed and incense. Similarly, using body spray and cologne on yourself will make you smell like body spray and weed, or cologne/perfume and weed. Remember Emily Post's Etiquette when it comes to cologne, "Your scent should be discovered, not announced". Too much cologne or perfume is a horrible smell, and it isn't masking your weed, it just makes you smell like you don't know how to apply cologne. If you want to smell like a dirty hippie, patchouli is no substitute for a bath/shower and clean clothes. Again, you're not confusing anyone, you may think you don't smell like weed anymore, but everyone else who isn't smoking weed knows what you smell like.
• Dryer sheets are your best friend for several reasons. First of all, they're amazing at absorbing smoke AND odor. Stuff a few dryer sheets in a cardboard tube and blow your smoke in the tube to reduce the effect of the smell and odor. Remember, this is a REDUCTION, it does not MASK the smell 100%, however, if you are just smoking in your bedroom or a bathroom or your car like one time, and you don't want your upholstery to smell like an Amsterdam coffee house, this can help. In a similar fashion, after you smoke, instead of spritzing yourself with body spray, rub your clothing down with a dryer sheet. This is far more effective at absorbing the smell (and hopefully replaces it with something a little less potent and again, far less obvious). Of course, for best effect, change your clothes and wash your clothing. When you dry your clothes, use an extra dryer sheet and you can avoid your clothing smelling permanently like weed. Same goes for your bedsheets, car seats, drapes, etc. Rub them down with dryer sheets instead of spraying them with air freshener or something worse. Another hint: You get what you pay for. Store brand dryer sheets are fine, but if you dish out the extra few dollars for the name brand stuff, you're going to get better results. Personally, I think Bounce and Gain do the best job.
• Febreeze is not your friend. The reason for this is hard to explain without getting into some science, but basically, Febreeze will absorb the odor from the air, then carry it down to the surfaces of your furniture, carpet, etc, and then imprint that odor into those surfaces, and because of its "sticky" nature, it is very difficult to remove that smell once it is attached via that kind of chemical. Ozium is a very popular hospital grade deodorizer that does a great job of getting the smell out of the air, but similarly to Febreeze, because it has glycol, it is sticky and hard to remove from things like upholstery and fabrics (however, unlike Febreeze, Ozium is much more easily released via deep hot water extractors and steam cleaners). Ozium can be wiped away from solid surfaces, but I generally only recommend it as a quick treatment for smell, and not a regular method of getting rid of the stink.
• If you smoke indoors, do yourself a favor and get yourself the kind of ashtray that can be covered up (cans with lids or sometimes what they call a "smokeless ashtray"). The first reason for this is the stink. The second reason for this is because if you knock it over, you won't spill ash everywhere. Marijuana ash is usually still fairly resinated and it holds smell, but the worst thing about it is trying to clean it up. I have never found a good way to prevent it from getting ground into carpet, upholstery, etc, and once its in there, it holds that smell for a VERY long time. Avoiding this situation saves a lot of stress down the road.
• CLEAN YOUR BONG! Seriously, bongwater is horrible, and aside from making your bong skunky, if you spill it, much like the ash lesson above, it is going to leave that smell in whatever absorbs it for a VERY long time. We all know its a pain, but for real, get in the habit of pouring out your bong water between every sesh, and make a regular habit of cleaning your bong out with some isopropyl alcohol and a mixture of table salt and epsom salts (you can buy these in the grocery store, look around where you find things like band-aids and other first aid products). The salts are abrasive (they do not dissolve in isopropyl alcohol) and will scrape all the crap off the insides of your glassware. In the same vein, for cleaning your glass pipes and such, use a mixture of table salt and isopropyl alcohol in a ziplock baggie, put your pipe in there and shake it around like crazy. I prefer this method over boiling pipes, because it is far faster, works pretty much just as well, and I don't feel bad about throwing away a ziplock baggie full of resin and salt -- I have ruined many half and one quart pots by boiling a heavily resinated pipe in them and then not being able to clean that resin off the inside of the pot. Also, boiling a glass pipe is a good way to bake the glass to a brittle state. I broke my heart when I boiled my favorite pipe and then rested it on a surface that was too cold and the temperature difference caused the glass to crack.
• Finally, investing in some proper storage will pay off in the long run. Get yourself some proper air-tight and water tight containers to store your weed in. Plastic baggies and cellophanes from cigarette packs are amateur grade. They don't hide the smell of your weed and worst case scenario, if you live in an illegal state, they scream "dealer". Glass jars with airtight lids will keep your weed from drying out and protect it from fungus and mold. The good ones are tinted to prevent light contamination too. For extra bonus points, get yourself a proper size mini-fridge with a freezer compartment. Keep your use-stash in the fridge, and if you have bulk, put it in the freezer. Weed stored in a freezer is going to have the least amount of smell to it, and the weed you keep refrigerated will stay fresher longer (so it'll keep that nice, fresh, weed taste and clean smell when you smoke it). Put a box of baking soda (yes, the arm and hammer kind) in the back of that fridge too, to absorb any extra odor that may be present, so that when you open the fridge, it doesn't waft the smell of bulk weed all across your habitation. This is also the best method for storing your wax, hash, oil, other dab stuff as well. Personally, I even like to keep my in-use glassware in the fridge as well. Because by its nature a fridge is (hopefully) air-tight, this keeps the smell down even more. Just remember, you're not putting this stuff in a deep freeze, you just want to keep it cool and fresh.

Hope this advice helps some of you keep things clean, hygenic, and odor-free! Remember to be a happy, healthy stoner, don't be the stereotypical stoner like the two guys in the joke. The best compliment you'll get is from someone who's known you and respects you, and finds out you're a stoner for the first time and says "I never would have guessed that about you". I feel like this is going to be a semi psychotic unstructured rant about my coworker. She’s a racist, annoying, intellectually deficient, homunculus. She doesn’t even seem like a person, she’s a gollum. I am so annoyed by her obvious racist and elitist ways. She’s for feminism but only when it comes to body positivity because she’s fat(4’11 and at 86 kilograms). She despises poor women and picks on the cleaning lady and when ever she buys things, she rubs it in her face. She’s against the caste system but if you’re someone from the marginalised community she will point out she’s a Menon. I made the mistake of telling her that my grandmother is a Dalit and that my grandfather is Anglo Indian. She asked me why my grandfather married my grand mother. She asked me how much “white blood I got”. Idk a litre? Why ask it like that lmao. The simping for white men. She shoos little kids a way who are forced to beg and complains when I give them food or water. She calls them lazy (they’re kids wtf). She offered to buy some random white guy a drink at Starbucks. She thought colonialism was great and it “civilised us”. Her constantly complaining about reservations when she’s an idiot who didn’t do well in school and thought that the uk was going to drift away during brexit. Her telling me that I’m only attractive because my grandfather is half white. I don’t look white, I look like a regular ass Indian. I look like my other grandma who was a a beautiful Indian woman. Her superiority complex because she’s light skinned. She has brown teeth, has no chin, chipmunk cheeks and isn’t attractive in general. She thinks the dark skinned models look like “khamwalis”. She says derogatory things about darker skinned people and black people. I went to the Maldives and came back darker, she asked me if I’m “Africa now” Her bad hygiene but she’s not poor so it’s quirky. She goes days with out showering and she thinks she doesn’t smell. Her hair always looks dirty. She makes the cleaning lady feel bad because she uses mustard oil which has a strong smell. She don’t realise how musty she is. She’s elitist but doesn’t realise she’s not rich. She just has more money than most the country because we live in a poor country. She takes pictures of her Starbucks drinks and she brags about the weirdest things. When ever people go out to eat she brags about online.
She does all of this but she’s a liberal and for human rights, online.
