I'm thinking about this game for so long already I almost start thinking that I've just made it up myself at some point, but it's always worth trying. I'm sure I was playing this game on PC and not on my laptop, so it must've been before the second half of 2006. Graphics-wise, game was kinda similar to the first 3D Zeldas, but way more colourful than them, all of it was giving a tale vibe. All I remember is one location, probably a starting one, this makes me think that I've never left it for some reason. The area was medium size, but probably cause of poor rendering it was tightly surrounded by a white fog. Looking around, there were houses, they were built either with orange bricks or grey stones with red roofs, I don't know which version of my memory is correct. Around them there were low, grey stone fences. Both the buildings and the fences were somehow rounded – low poly, but rounded, like in a child's cartoon, no sharp edges. Paths between buildings were somewhat yellow, like a light dirt combined with a straw. I don't remember the protagonist's gender, but I think they might've had a blond braid, but not longer than reaching right under their neck. I also remember something like an axe, but I can't tell if it was an element of the environment, or the protagonist's weapon. To be fair, I'm not even sure if the game had any weapons. If this helps anyhow, I'm from Poland, but I doubt it's a title exclusive for my country. I believe in you guys.

2023.06.03 00:41 RPGZero Having Trouble Finding a Knight with a Spear in the Depths Gerudo Region
I'm trying to get a Purified Gerudo Spear, but all I found down there were one handed sword (nice for scimitars) and two handed sword ghost knights (nice for claymores). But I simply wasn't finding any knights that held spears. Anyone have any location details or pics of map locations where a spear user is in that depths region?
Also, while I'm at it, I keep seeing people post coordinates on the map for locations. But on the map screen, you can't see any coordinates but the ones where Link is currently locates. So how are people making use of these coordinates? Are they just going to a close enough location and then figure it out as they traverse the land and the coordinates get closer?

The humans had nearly a thousand stars within their medium-sized realm, with a hundred and fifty habitable planets and another dozen mid-terraform; all the rest had at least a mining station, research facility, or military garrison, with several hundred sporting fully domed colonies. Much of their industry had been automated, as well, resulting in a large population with the freedom to pursue their passions. Some enjoyed academia, career scholars who could be called upon by their governments to research problems. Some enjoyed quiet rural lives, tending gardens and developing new agricultural products so the farm AIs could feed the hundreds of billions of humans. Others became adamant gamers, using various programs to develop VR worlds for others to explore.
The Human Confederation worked well; while the overall parliament had clear lines delineating the limits of its authority, the solar cantons and their subordinate colonies were largely left to handle internal matters locally. Friendly competition between cantons resulted in many technological innovations, and some cantons decided to specialize in certain fields in order to ensure their name remained renowned.
Overall, humanity saw itself in a golden age, one that continued to gild itself further with exploration, peaceful expansion, diplomacy, and prosperity.
But no golden age could last forever.
The Hirox Empire saw itself also in a golden age, but their expansions were rarely into unclaimed space. They saw the world through the Theory of Relativity; matter cannot be created nor destroyed. They corrupted this to be their guiding principle: resources are finite, and others possessing them means less for the Hirox to use. The First Hiroxian Law.
They focused their attacks first on humanity's outer colonies, those with the weakest defenses but many untapped resources. The Hirox didn't need them now, just to deny humanity the possession of them.
They continued to ravage through the lightly populated outer worlds; the Gallic and Hispanic colonies were in the direct path, but the Sinic and Nipponic colonies were just as at risk around the periphery.
The Hirox pushed humanity back to their core canton worlds. They had been a power on the rise, but they had fallen from their golden age.
It was a long way down.
Human science proved to be far more adaptable than the Hirox expected. While they didn't often win in direct fights, ambush tactics had taken down several vessels, and the humans had no qualms about stealing the technologies they had acquired. As the war continued, humanity had fielded better and better ships. Hirox high command had even considered pausing the expansion to consolidate their gains and work on how to fortify their new territory. It wouldn't be without precedent, but it had been quite a long time since a species made them do so.
Fleetmaster Jilk was opposed to the idea. He saw how quickly the humans had adapted their industry. Failing to push the current initiative and technological advantage would give the humans a chance to rally, and that could be dangerous. They might even-

He turned to the rear of his command center, looking at the two-meter-wide brain suspended in synthetic spinal fluid. Hobir, his ship's thinking center, was already working.
"Admiral, impact at level seven, hull was breached but has been sealed by the striking object. Working on getting an image. Shipmaster Gorn has already dispatched engineers. One other ship reports similar impact: carrier-class Blackwing; reports indicate engineers are en route as well. Sixteen ships report no impacts."
Jiln nodded. The two ships captains knew their business well, and Jiln could focus on commanding the fleet itself. "Hobir, develop report requirements: combat capability of impacted ships, then combat capability of entire fleet, then source of objects if any."
"Yes Admiral, three requirements developed and transmitted to captains. Initial report of impacts and developed requirements transmitted to nearest garrison."
Something didn't feel right. Like how one feels when one walks through the territory of a pack of keth. You just feel the unease of something. Why were there a pair of asteroids just lose in the barren system the fleet had been traveling through? And how did both hulls near perfectly seal themselves?
Explosions could be heard throughout the ship. Not with the level of power the impact had, these were small ones, echoing throughout the halls. He watched on his hologram as bulkheads were sealed, likely the captain trying to contain the damage.
Except the bulkheads failed to contain the damage. One by one, small detonations created holes in them, expanding aft until the sequential breaches split into two directions, one towards the engine room, and the other towards Jiln's command suite.
These weren't secondary explosions. They were breaching charges. These were boarders. He sped towards his communications console to summon his security detail and warn the carrier. Humans were on board. He barely dialed the fleet-wide frequency when the wall exploded. The concussive force was incredible, but the human marines that poured through the hole in the wall didn't seem to notice. One of them whirled his rifle around, slamming the butt into Jiln's spinal nerve cluster, triggering all his neurons to fire. After that lightning, he began to drift into the inky blackness of unconsciousness.
It was a long way down.
Corporal Sean O’Loughlin floated awkwardly at attention. His parents had been born in the Saffron Colony's domed city, but they had been evacuated back to the Eire Canton days before the Hirox destroyed the magnificent structure. His mother still struggled with losing her home, but thankfully nearly all the civilians had made it out. Unfortunately, her youngest brother, barely twenty at the time, had volunteered to be part of the shielding force, and his loss had never really healed. She did, however, meet Sean's father on the evacuation ship, and now twenty-two years later, Sean wore the canton's Clover Crest on his uniform's shoulder, just as his uncle had. He had seen how much others had lost because of the Hirox, and he had a few younger siblings to carry on if something happened to him, so he decided to join the vanguard. The meteors. The Drop Troopers.
This was the first assault against a world that the Hirox had held from before the war. A Hirox core world at that, thousands of light years behind the front line. This held one of their major shipyards, as well as an important command center. Luckily, some HVI the Marines had captured a few months back had seen reason and talked. The officer had given HCHQ nearly everything: access to the command nets, internal politics of the nobility, and intelligence on critical military infrastructure.
Taking this planet would at least delay the onslaught that humanity faced. It was also very likely the only mission any of these troopers would participate in, given how unlikely reinforcements were. This was a surgical strike, but also a one-way trip. They were to cause as much chaos as they could but were given a prioritized list of targets if they could reach them.
Corporal O’Loughlin floated down the line of his three subordinates. One wore a red maple leaf of his home Dominion, while the other two bore the stylized cherry blossom of the Nipponic colony of Sakura. He checked their equipment, and one by one he strapped them into their egg-shaped pods, seat facing down relative to the layout of the ship, ensuring all the systems were working. He verified the inventory of five combat drones and two recon drones each and ensured their AI assistants were up. When he was done, his own sergeant checked them, then strapped Sean in. Finally, with all the doors closed, and the countdown began.
Two minutes until launch. He prepared for his eyeballs to feel like they were about to meet his brain.
One minute. He tried to crack his neck, but the recessed cushioned cutout for his body prevented any movement. It was probably for the better.
Thirty seconds. He took a breath, and then another. As much as he enjoyed the practice drops, he was about to be in the heart of Hirox territory.
He felt the ship slam out of hyperspace. Not a second later, the countdown timer hit zero. He felt the moment the magnetic rails engaged, and then his pod was blasting towards this new world.

But not all saw that reason. Particularly the ruling caste, those who had the most to lose and those that bore the most responsibility. After the absolute purge of all humans that had been captured, humanity knew that not all sentients were redeemable.
It was graveyard still in the command center of the HCV Enola. The vessel had only been built with one purpose: to deliver the specialized munition in its hold. It held a minimal crew: half a dozen engineers and a pair of emergency firefighters. One medical officer, no corpsmen. A single missileer. And an old admiral, who had been ready to retire from service before the war had ever started over two decades prior. When the mission was over, the crew was to abandon the vessel as the autopilot flew it into a star. There was no glory to be had on this mission, but it would bring peace to humanity. It was perhaps the only path to peace not drowned in human blood, but they had made the decision to trade Hirox blood and more for it.
The missileer prepared the munition, removed all the safeties, and inserted his key into his lock of the twinned pair. The admiral drew the other from a chain around his neck and inserted it into the remaining lock, nodding to the lieutenant commander to his right. They both turned their keys simultaneously, opening the aluminum glass covering to a fingerprint scanner and a recessed button.
He nodded and pulled a communicator to his mouth.
"All hand, prepare for missile launch." His voice matched his heart: heavily laden with sadness and regret, but also resolve.
His thumb pushed into the button, sliding it barely a centimeter into the device.
It was a long way down.
The Hiroxian Emperor remained surrounded by his sycophants and true believers. Even now, down to their last system, they showered him with words of praise and assurances that they would still defeat the humans.
But in their twilight sky, they watched a single missile streak like a meteor. Like a human drop pod. Like a boarding craft. Despite the time and distance and trajectory, it was clearly visible, flying so, so fast.
Flying past Hira, past Hira's two moon, and towards the star at the center of the system.
Then they watched as the sun gave way to darkness. They felt the tremors throughout the planet and saw their two moons being ripped apart. The tidal forces shook skyscrapers until they collapsed, the screams of lickspittles and zealots just a whisper to the cacophony of quakes and the rending of glass and steel.
They watched as the stars moved in ways they had never moved before, at speeds they had never moved before. They felt their bodies be pulled, stretched, as they were dragged towards where their star once was.
The humans had fired a void bomb. A singularity missile. A warhead that could collapse a star into a black hole.
Hira, and the last of the warmongers left of the Hiroxian species, fell into the chasm left in the wake of that missile.

HEAVY FRAME .5 THICK WALL WITH EXTRA SPACE
This frame to hold up the ceiling and for safety to keep the basalt walls from collapsing on me. It can also help to hold up the walls of basalt sandbags or poly tubing and can help to keep it straight. It could even help to hold up the water layer and to provide a straight structure for that.

said it will mess it up to build to different frames and connect them. He said its stronger just to build it in the same way with the same dimensions for the entire length of the frame.
Im am being forced against my will to build it with part of the material wasted on surrounding the bigger frame instead of providing thicker protection even though I think its overkill given
my extreme level of desperation and need to go faster.
I think he said that the ceiling would be made with a piece of .75 inch plywood on the outside then 2x6 pieces of wood under it running perpendicular to the long dimension of the structure. The pieces
have the 2 thing part lying against the plywood of the ceiling and the 6 inch dimension sticks down into the box. The Walls are made the same way but with two .5 inch pieces of plywood around the 2x6 pieces.
The pieces stand up vertically. The 2x6 sixes are only either 2 or 4 inches apart I think he said? The floor is one piece of .75 inch plywood to help hold the walls in place to help keep them from shifting out of fully
supporting the ceiling and then stressing the joints more. He said we can build it with plastic bolts to avoid using steel nails or nails made of other metals. This is nice compared to a frame made of mortar and bricks
because we can move it to different places hopefully including for testing at better places. I guess well put holes in the side of the inner plywood walls and ceiling to increase how much air the structure can hold so I can
test it for longer periods. He says that plywood offgasses formaldehyde and I read you cant coat it or wrap it to stop that. So I guess its necessary to use more expensive formaldehyde free plywood.
The shielded person can get on a piece of .75 inch plywood with 4 mill farmers plastic on one side and the floor has greased farmers plastic on it so that the person can be slid into place without needing enough room or
fitness to wriggle in. Someone slides me in without me needing the room to wriggle back and forth or up an down and with less chance of bumping my nose Or you could lie on plywood with thick plastic on one side or OSB which
has a slick surface and the floor would be greased farmer plastic. There is an outline on the plywood and I lie just in the right spot and they push me in.
This design makes it 6 inches wider than my shoulders which I had hope would be enough to wriggle in without really any vertical room despite my body being somewhat messed up and not being able to get exercise.
Now im thinking this give me enough room to be pushed into place but I'm wondering could I get away with only 3 inches extra at the shoulders?
There could be 2 plastic pulleys in the corners and I get pulled instead of pushed in so it's easier.
This structure is supposed to totally surround me in water as well as basalt. Since the water containers wont hold up under the weigh of being underneath the basalt floor and ceiling as well the water has to be inside the frame
with me so that only my weight is on top of it. So Im planning on leaving enough room to have 2 layers of large fomenteck water bags. The two layers mean they will overlap at the seems. Im thinking that each layers bags will
also be stuck to each other with tape to keep them from separating and so they slightly overlap at the edges but without being thicker then the thickest part of the bags. If there isnt enough room for two layers somehow then
the small thinner fomenteck bags could create my two layers or just overlap the seems. The interior is about 1.5ft so two 4 inch thick fomenteck bag high floor will leave 10 inches minus the room for the plywood to slide in on.

THE BASALT LAYER
So this is a a enclosure of basalt thats 6 inches thick for the ceiling, the floor, side walls and the front and back wall. Its a complete enclosure and doorway gets blocked up after Im in it. When I made it like this I was assuming that
there was no way to make a thinner floor anyway but with the poly tubing I might be able to make it 3 or 4 inches thick using a double layer of the smallest poly tubing and save some weight.

no matter what I do.
POLY TUBING WALL The round shape of the tubing means that the wall won't be solid and will have some of the space empty. Ill say that if I use the tubing it will only use 80 percent of what a totally solid wall will. So if I use two layers of 3 inch tubes of basalt
then the most basalt it can use is 80 percent of a solid wall I think.
Total 60 cubic ft with poly tubing at 80lb a cubic ft is 1.92 tons at at 100lb a cubic ft is 2.4 tons

If a TI had enough money they could even double this protection in the best location.
You haft to figure out how to have it meet the right building codes for earth homes or whatever.
You might help it to stay up and protect it with fence posts cinderblocks and cement or bricks and cement.
If you have sandbags exposed to the sun put a heavy tarp over them to make them last longer.
For the door perhaps you just take out a 18 inch wide 10 inch tall piece at the bottom and put some frame around it
to hold it up and then after you crawl in you block it up with sandbags of basalt. One thing you might use is basalt
blocks as the frame and you might be able to use some kind of mortar based on sand sized criva or to mix criva with mortar.
Solid basalt blocks havnt been tested yet.
So I'm being forced against my will to use only 2 to 4 tons of basalt even though I have been planning on using 6 or 7 tons to get a full foot around my body and 2ft on the top of my head and behind it that takes up that whole surface.
So I can only make it 6 inches thick for most of it. Its a challenge to try and make close to six inches thick instead of a lot more or less than that. Its a challenge to have it overlap and to block the seams between the bags well enough
with only 6 inches thick. Iv heard that full size 14 inch by 26 inch long sandbags are about 6 to 8 inches thick when full. This already might make it much much thicker if it has to be 8 inches and I dont think they could be pushed together
well enough to erase the spaces between them. Im thinking that to block RNM possibly its more important to have a complete protection lass bad weak points in it then with physical attacks Its important for me thinking its a good test at
least ast his thickness. Use the mini sand bags in a double layer for the roof and floor but I'm still somewhat worried about blocking the cracks well enough and I dont know how thick it will be. Since I already ordered a ton of dust I need to
use that so Ill need to put it in large strong enough plastic bags and then put it in the mini sand bags. Or I could just put it in my 6x9 inch 4 mil plastic bags and tape them closed or use zip lock quart, half gallon or gallon bags from the grocery store
possibly. I could use other plastic bags. I could use small plastic bags and do like 3 offset overlapping layers or something. only one of my 3 or 4 tons is dust.
I dont know how it will go for the side walls If i use the mini sandbags it will only be one layer thick and dont know if the spaces between then can be blocked well enough like that. The wall will be 3.25ft tall when you include the ceiling and the floor
as part of the walls height. My friend told me that's as high as you can build with round gravel and non round gravel you can build a 4ft high wall perhaps but that with normal sandbags not mini ones. I will have the plywood frame on one side and
can put water containers holding up a piece of plywood on the other side and stack them between them though. I dont know if this will work well enough.
I had the idea of using poly tubing. This is a tube of 6 mill or less plastic that you can cut and then seal to create bags. You can just buy the roll though. So I could use to layers of 3 inch wide poly tubing running the entire length of the structure to
create first the basalt floor and then the basalt ceiling. They would be offset so that the second layer blocks the cracks in the first. I dont know if you can mush them or leave some out and then flatten them to cover the cracks better.
I could also use 3 layers of 2 inch thick poly tubing with perhaps the middle layer going crossways. Im thinking Ill put a strip of plywood sticking up 6 inches on either side of it so that it can hold in the tubing on the ceiling and keep it from rolling off the side.
Then I can put one extra piece right on top of the plywood divider to cover the gap between the side wall and the ceiling which end at the same height. I dont know how this would work for the walls. I might need the two pieces of plywood on either side. I dont know if
it would be strong enough especially if I use 6 inch wide tubing. I could fit in smaller tubes where two big tubes join each other. You can seal them with twist ties or a heat gun or a might use zip ties. I dont know what works. One benefit of using these is that
instead of a wall of solid basalt, if the tubes end up round then only 75 percent of the space will be full of basalt saving me weight. I dont understand how it isn't a problem to have any empty space in the wall at all though.
If i put my basalt in poly tube bags and it forms a pretty non flexible cylinder then it might not matter much if I use smaller criva or 3/8 to 5/8 buttons in terms of the flexibility. Since part of my structure will only be 6 inches thick though it might be more important
to keep the rocks small and reduce the gaps between them. Also because im making a complete enclosure and trying to put thicker protection around my brain then your 1ft I I will I will hopefully be able to reduce the RNM and attacks on my brain more then you
can reduce your attacks on you head with your set up. Possibly with RNM and mental attacks blocking the cracks matters more I dont know.

You haft to figure out how to have it meet the right building codes for earth homes or whatever.

If you have sandbags exposed to the sun put a heavy tarp over them to make them last longer.
For the door perhaps you just take out a 18 inch wide 10 inch tall piece at the bottom and put some frame around it
to hold it up and then after you crawl in you block it up with sandbags of basalt. One thing you might use is basalt
blocks as the frame and you might be able to use some kind of mortar based on sand sized criva or to mix criva with mortar.
Solid basalt blocks havnt been tested yet.
So I'm being forced against my will to use only 2 to 4 tons of basalt even though I have been planning on using 6 or 7 tons to get a full foot around my body and 2ft on the top of my head and behind it that takes up that whole surface.
So I can only make it 6 inches thick for most of it. Its a challenge to try and make close to six inches thick instead of a lot more or less than that. Its a challenge to have it overlap and to block the seams between the bags well enough
with only 6 inches thick. Iv heard that full size 14 inch by 26 inch long sandbags are about 6 to 8 inches thick when full. This already might make it much much thicker if it has to be 8 inches and I dont think they could be pushed together
well enough to erase the spaces between them. Im thinking that to block RNM possibly its more important to have a complete protection lass bad weak points in it then with physical attacks Its important for me thinking its a good test at
least ast his thickness. Use the mini sand bags in a double layer for the roof and floor but I'm still somewhat worried about blocking the cracks well enough and I dont know how thick it will be. Since I already ordered a ton of dust I need to
use that so Ill need to put it in large strong enough plastic bags and then put it in the mini sand bags. Or I could just put it in my 6x9 inch 4 mil plastic bags and tape them closed or use zip lock quart, half gallon or gallon bags from the grocery store
possibly. I could use other plastic bags. I could use small plastic bags and do like 3 offset overlapping layers or something. only one of my 3 or 4 tons is dust.
I dont know how it will go for the side walls If i use the mini sandbags it will only be one layer thick and dont know if the spaces between then can be blocked well enough like that. The wall will be 3.25ft tall when you include the ceiling and the floor
as part of the walls height. My friend told me that's as high as you can build with round gravel and non round gravel you can build a 4ft high wall perhaps but that with normal sandbags not mini ones. I will have the plywood frame on one side and
can put water containers holding up a piece of plywood on the other side and stack them between them though. I dont know if this will work well enough.
I had the idea of using poly tubing. This is a tube of 6 mill or less plastic that you can cut and then seal to create bags. You can just buy the roll though. So I could use to layers of 3 inch wide poly tubing running the entire length of the structure to
create first the basalt floor and then the basalt ceiling. They would be offset so that the second layer blocks the cracks in the first. I dont know if you can mush them or leave some out and then flatten them to cover the cracks better.
I could also use 3 layers of 2 inch thick poly tubing with perhaps the middle layer going crossways. Im thinking Ill put a strip of plywood sticking up 6 inches on either side of it so that it can hold in the tubing on the ceiling and keep it from rolling off the side.
Then I can put one extra piece right on top of the plywood divider to cover the gap between the side wall and the ceiling which end at the same height. I dont know how this would work for the walls. I might need the two pieces of plywood on either side. I dont know if
it would be strong enough especially if I use 6 inch wide tubing. I could fit in smaller tubes where two big tubes join each other. You can seal them with twist ties or a heat gun or a might use zip ties. I dont know what works. One benefit of using these is that
instead of a wall of solid basalt, if the tubes end up round then only 75 percent of the space will be full of basalt saving me weight. I dont understand how it isn't a problem to have any empty space in the wall at all though.
If i put my basalt in poly tube bags and it forms a pretty non flexible cylinder then it might not matter much if I use smaller criva or 3/8 to 5/8 buttons in terms of the flexibility. Since part of my structure will only be 6 inches thick though it might be more important
to keep the rocks small and reduce the gaps between them. Also because im making a complete enclosure and trying to put thicker protection around my brain then your 1ft I I will I will hopefully be able to reduce the RNM and attacks on my brain more then you
can reduce your attacks on you head with your set up. Possibly with RNM and mental attacks blocking the cracks matters more I dont know.

While an absolute blessing for any mammalian species with a passing resemblance to Terran fauna, the rest who were well and truly alien knew that if they were assigned to him, yes, they were going to live, but the recovery process wasn't going to be pleasant. And David didn't like being classified as 'slightly better than death'.
Humanity had developed surgery before anesthetic, hell they'd developed it before really understanding their own anatomy properly. Horror stories of lobotomy and trepanning reminded even the Canicians that Humans had uniquely developed from some particularly barbaric cultures, the fact that they were, by and large, more interested in friendship and camaraderie did mitigate the fear somewhat.
Tros was concerned, mostly because it was supposed to allow David to shadow it as it did its rounds, to improve his understanding of Gixx physiology. Ever since the former Gixx Collective tried to assimilate Humanity, their special adherence to individuality led to singular minds tending toward inhabiting singular bodies- not all at once, and sometimes the same body would host different minds at a time. Even 'Tros' was just a signifier for convenience's sake.
A body simply wasn't as important to the Gixx as it was to the rest of the galaxy, as long as it was connected with the mindworld, 'death' was merely the loss of a tool, nothing more. But, some tools were more important than others, and Tros had recognized the fact that it needed to remain in good shape for 'recognizability' reasons.
"Good afternoon, Human David." It said. "How may this one be of service?" 'This one', indicating one mind was currently operating the body. David's mind was an outpouring of several thoughts, mostly an admiration for Gixx physiology, though some of it was more primal, an itch that betrayed that while David was otherwise fit to serve as a doctor, deep down he enjoyed causing harm, something that was growing less concerning to the Human as his relationship with the Caniti Ambassador developed.
Worryingly, there were other thoughts, some devoted to idle fantasy of what David and the Caniti would do in their bed, some considering the merits of genetic splicing to better allow the Caniti the opportunity to be be a little rougher.
Tros pulled back, remembering that Humans didn't like their minds probed, and the Gixx didn't want to add any other potential unstables into the mindworld if they could help it.
Not much time had passed, thoughts happened in instants, though it usually felt longer for individuals. David hadn't experienced a long pause, he replied promptly, "I'm here to observe you today, Dr. Tros."
A convenient appellation, nothing more. Tros merely nodded. "Understood. Please understand that we Gixx will likely be observing you as you observe us."
David nodded. "I know, I could feel you reading my mind."
Tros blanched at this. "Greatest apologies, Human David, we will endeavor to not do so in the future."
"You're still learning." This irked the Gixx somewhat, they had every day to practice, it was the Humans who would do well to learn to close their minds. Tros breathed normally, purposefully. It knew David picked up on this immediately.
"Let us proceed." Tros stated. The rounds were standard, it was mostly Tros interfacing with the body of another in the mindworld and diagnosing based on location of discomfort, David observed, he knew that Tros used its psychic power to sense and diagnose injury or discomfort based on where the pain was.
That was when David shocked the Gixx not only by pressing his mind into the body, but by not immediately being assimilated by the mindworld. Tros stared in utter horror as David displayed a hithertofore unknown and undocumented psychic power.
"I've got a hunch this guy's dealing with indigestion." David stated. He glanced at Tros. "Even if you're all connected, the body still moves based on instinct, he's clutching his abdomen, my guess is, based on anatomy-" Tros observed with fascination as David mentally dissected the Gixx body before him, mentally sifting through organs, pinpointing the exact organ without fail. "-he's probably got an inflamed skratix."
"How did you do that?" Tros asked.
"Huh? Oh, it's just a hunch. The body can tell a lot about what's going on inside it just through its verbal cues and reflexes."
"No, you inserted your mind into the body and pinpointed the exact location of distress." Tros stated. The mindworld was all focused on David, except those who needed to focus on critical work elsewhere. "How did you train that psychic potential? Why have you not logged it?"
David looked confused. "Psychic potential? Me?" The Human laughed. "I've already taken all of the aptitude tests, I can't read minds or remotely control technology. Maybe you're just diving a little too deep." There was an implied threat. David was well and truly ignorant of his psychic potential, yet he felt that Tros was the one who was overstepping its boundaries.
"Perhaps." Tros breathed before continuing its rounds...
The Gixx do not go near Human psyche wards. Ever wanting to aid those in need, the few insane minds they attempted to assimilate left the entire mindworld reeling for weeks. The insanity was not so easily cured, and they eventually had to excise the minds, which led to the unfortunate deaths of those they had assimilated.
Tros was more interested in observing how Humans managed them, took the opportunity to learn about Human psychology, only to be sickened and disheartened at what their history told.
The words were stark and cold, an implied anger at their wrongdoing in the past. Humanity was not proud of their cruelty, they simply lived with the 'ghosts' of the past. The Gixx observed with some fascination that the doctors who cared for the mentally unwell had learned to close their minds, and for good reason.
The insane had that same potential as David, that same talent for digging into the minds of others. They didn't know what concerned them more, that David was potentially just as insane as the rest of these patients, and more capable of hiding it, or this was simply the Human default, and they simply had not noticed before.
Several minds pressed on Tros, who was forced to close their mind. It was alone, surrounded by the howls of the mad and the damned, cut off temporarily from the mindworld. It didn't know when it collapsed, only the relief of the concerned others as it returned.
"Are you okay?" David asked.
"You Humans are terrifying." Tros stated honestly.
"They just need love and support is all." David stated defensively.
"This one means all of you." Tros stated. It stood up from the couch it had been sat upon. "It is this one's opinion that you Humans are best served caring for your own, especially those whose minds howl like that."
It knew these words hurt David, but that was the cold and naked truth. Tros resumed their duties with the cold and unshakeable understanding that had the Gixx known these things about Humanity before they attempted assimilation, they would have simply opted to exterminate the lot.
But now, the damage was done, they had exposed themselves to that madness, and it had left its indelible mark on the mindworld...

Last week I [29M] matched with someone [29F] who I find attractive (duh!).
Unlike most interactions I've had so far, she was surprisingly responsive (quick and enthusiastic replies) and we had some back and forth. In the process, she mentioned that the location listed on her profile was wrong and she actually lived outside my city (it's not that far away but it's not very convenient without a car). She does occasionally go here though but hasn't visited most of the city.
Anyway I said we could bike around together (she said she loves biking). She initially said yes. But when I suggested it for next weekend she said the weather would be too hot (it's ~30 C here). So I offered some other ideas like walking in a park, which could be convenient to access with public transport, and asked her if she had another preference. But she didn't really answer that clearly.
So I decided to leave it up to her, I told her to let me know next time she plans to come to the city or if she had another idea how we could meet. She said she'd let me know, and I haven't messaged her since. I noticed she changed her location to the correct place so that's the only sign of activity I saw.
Not sure if there's anything I can do at this point. Feels a bit hard to let go of a promising match, but I don't know if it makes sense for me to keep the convo going now. The Draconis Virus was a muitagenic virus, deliberately made resistant to most medicines and keyed to not target the citizens of the Jun'Krat Empire. It was usually used as a weapon of last resort, in the event a species proved to be particularly belligerent against their conquest of the stars.
The Humans had been extremely resistant, refusing time and time again to join as a vassal planet, then as conscripts, even as slaves they proved particularly tenacious- a quality the Empire would have lauded, had it not come to this.
Humanity was consigned to become little more than feral bioweapons against the next planet that deigned to resist, and so, several Vector Missiles were launched, the virus released, and the effects taking root almost immediately.
First came the physical changes, skin thickening into scaly hide, fingernails splitting and making way for bony claws, hair falling out and making way for long and wicked horns, the skeletal system cracking and breaking, shifting into the familiar form of biohazardous weapons. It was, effectively, a complete shedding of their original species, the monster emerging from the contagious blood of a virus that only lasted one month.
The mixture of agony and neurological mutation was designed to utterly destroy sapience, turn them wild and vicious, able to be captured, tamed, and turned against the Empire's enemies.
The first sign things had gone awry was the newly transformed showing above average intelligence. They were still driven by the virus' urging them to spread the infection, but instead of mindlessly biting and tearing flesh, they stood beside their victims, as if easing them through the process. And then the most bizarre event transpired, one that shook Krait to his core.
The Humans who had hidden came out of hiding, and embraced the change. Humanity had always been considered a little south of sanity, but this was utter madness. Yet, far ahead of the expected time, the entire species had undergone mutation, and the world- while otherwise silent- persisted in its functions.
It wasn't long for signals to reach out, communication between the nations of Humanity to re-establish, armies to gather, and finally, as the month neared its end, a message was sent to Krait.
"Thanks for the powerup, we like raw meat now."

Humanity had changed, but it remained proudly and staunchly attached to its prior identity, and it was only because the Empire's last ditch effort to make use of them had so spectacularly backfired and benefited the species that the species had magnanimously constrained their brutal counterattack to active combatants, military personnel, and political figures, up to and including the Emperor- minus his son, whom they allowed to take the throne on the condition that the Empire leave Earth the hell alone.
The Human ruminated on the question for several moments before shrugging, "I guess everyone was just a closet furry."

Mortar Calculator - Use Mortar Calculator XYZ for proper elevation and direction - The normal Squad calculation does not account for micro adjustments and elevation so without a FO it is impossible to get reliable and accurate hits on target - As a Mortar Squad Leader Communicating that you are going to do that the whole game and asking to have command is important, you are watching the map the whole game so use that to the team’s advantage
Gunners the only thing you need to do is listen to your squad leader and if you want to modify the way you’re shooting ask

However, C’s power is entirely dependent on his rage, and his rage quickly dissipated after he started attacking.
It’s hard to keep up rage after letting it all out.
V and A were able to very easily get up, and he wasn’t going to be able to do any of that damage a second time.
“That was impressive, brat. But in the end… I can’t die. I am going to outlive every drone on this pitiful planet, everyone will die in due time.”
A’s other bodies all began raining rockets down on C, scorching him heavily. He was completely outmatched.
A flew down, looking at his battered body that was spilling oil out into the snow.
“I am not like those corrupted fools. I’ll never let my work end.” A kicked C in the rib, causing the mental to bend and dent from the force.
She suddenly saw an attack from above however, and narrowly dodged a weird orange colored laser, twisting in mid air to see who fired it.
It was E, the self proclaimed Overhound herself. Just like Uzi, she had a railgun of her own, the only difference was its application.
“Oh, so you want to interrupt?” A fired a missile at E, but she quickly fired a bullet into the rocket, setting it off mid air.
E leapt over the shrapnel, catching some mid air and throwing it at A as a distraction.
A took the bait and cut the shrapnel in half, giving E time to enter her blindspot and impale her through the gut with a sword, which she had turned her arm into.
A’s head twisted at an unnatural angle to give E a sinister grin as her wings ripped out and stabbed E in the shoulder.
E flailed her other arm forward and turned it into a claw to crush A’s head, but A easily caught her arm.
“You insolent little drone. You will never be capable of getting away with an attempt at my life. You throw away your life, every time you try to end mine.”
A turned one of her arms into a gun, and shot E in the throat. Once, twice, thrice, over and over.
However suddenly there was a loud noise behind her, and she felt two sets of claws pierce her spine.
She spun her head around again and saw that after being wounded by C earlier, V had been overwhelmed by the combined efforts of C and L, who had somehow both gotten up, as bad of shape as they were in.
For some reason, most of A’s other shells within her hivemind were still regenerating. C’s explosive sound waves must have gotten them, that had to have been what the sound was.
Both of C’s claws pierced A’s back. His visor’s glow was dim, his rage weakening as his life and hold on the world also weakened.
It was a miracle that he was still stubborn enough to fight. L quickly leaped forward and freed E from A’s wing, but A grabbed C’s claw and threw him.
“Don’t worry. It’s impossible to make your deaths as painful as I want them to be… I’ll have to settle.”
She charged forward and was about to kill C finally, but her arm was cut off by E and she got blindsided by a kick from L.
E quickly began shooting her in the back, as C leapt forward and tackled her down, ripping a small piece of her skull off.
A flipped over and threw him off quickly, and C yet again couldn’t get up. He can only get up with these injuries so many times, and he officially wasn’t getting up again.
She dodged another hit from L, and effortlessly sent him flying with a single backhand claw swipe, but got nailed by a punch from E.
E then charged at A, and grabbed her by the leg before throwing her against the landing pod.
However V and the other bodies of A had already recovered by now. Their efforts really met nothing, the odds were stacked against them.
Meanwhile, X had finally arrived at the location that he felt himself drawn to, and he saw a purple haired drone waiting for him there.
She looked over at him, her eyes were red. There was a grin on her face, as she looked down at her picture of V. She knew that X was part of the same squad as V.
She spoke something in Russian, which roughly translated to: “You felt the signal I gave, now, it’s time for reckoning.”
This drone had lured him here on purpose, and it was even worse because he knew who she was. “Doll?!”
Doll didn’t smile or laugh, she continued glaring at him. She spoke something in Russian that amounted to: “You knew this was your fate, X. You survived our first encounter, but I know you felt the grip of fate.”
Doll lifted her hand to the side, the AbsoluteSolver symbol manifesting in her hand. She made numerous chairs, desks, and small items float into the air, before enhancing and amplifying the strength of their molecules with the AbsoluteSolver.
X was a natural skilled fighter, but he wasn’t invincible. He managed to shoot a chair out of the air with a rocket, but he got hit with a desk and one of the chair’s legs jettisoned from the chair and lodged itself in his skull.
X flipped the table over, and kicked it back at Doll, only for her to disassemble it on a molecular scale right in front of him.
She then reassembled it and launched it forward at him again, causing him to jump to the side, which was her plan as suddenly the chalkboard went flying as well and slammed into him.
The table then rebounded back at him, slamming him in between both of them. X tried firing a rocket at Doll, but she effortlessly redirected it at X and enhanced it’s power mid air, causing it to blow off X’s arm and scorch his torso slightly.
X was still being crushed between the table and chalkboard, which were unharmed as Doll made sure to telekinetically contain the blast radius of the explosion to ensure that it only hit X.
Luckily for X, R suddenly entered the room and sent an enhanced pencil flying through Doll’s arm.
She then cut the table and chalkboard both in half, and used her own AbsoluteSolver in order to weaponize these small pieces and send them flying at Doll.
The pieces all shattered against Doll’s forcefield, causing the dust to spread around and coat the room.
“Godmind_string Gamma Decay: Activate.” R spoke as her AbsoluteSolver symbol was suddenly overlapped by a second symbol, one that was represented by a square with a circular string and a brain shape on it.
There was a burst of multicolored light as a stream of weaponized gamma photons, amplified by the AbsoluteSolver, were fired at Doll.
The burst hit Doll hard, and sent her flying, but even when amplified, it still didn’t have much effect on metal.

A took the bait and cut the shrapnel in half, giving E time to enter her blindspot and impale her through the gut with a sword, which she had turned her arm into.
A’s head twisted at an unnatural angle to give E a sinister grin as her wings ripped out and stabbed E in the shoulder.
E flailed her other arm forward and turned it into a claw to crush A’s head, but A easily caught her arm.
“You insolent little drone. You will never be capable of getting away with an attempt at my life. You throw away your life, every time you try to end mine.”
A turned one of her arms into a gun, and shot E in the throat. Once, twice, thrice, over and over.
However suddenly there was a loud noise behind her, and she felt two sets of claws pierce her spine.
She spun her head around again and saw that after being wounded by C earlier, V had been overwhelmed by the combined efforts of C and L, who had somehow both gotten up, as bad of shape as they were in.
For some reason, most of A’s other shells within her hivemind were still regenerating. C’s explosive sound waves must have gotten them, that had to have been what the sound was.
Both of C’s claws pierced A’s back. His visor’s glow was dim, his rage weakening as his life and hold on the world also weakened.
It was a miracle that he was still stubborn enough to fight. L quickly leaped forward and freed E from A’s wing, but A grabbed C’s claw and threw him.
“Don’t worry. It’s impossible to make your deaths as painful as I want them to be… I’ll have to settle.”
She charged forward and was about to kill C finally, but her arm was cut off by E and she got blindsided by a kick from L.
E quickly began shooting her in the back, as C leapt forward and tackled her down, ripping a small piece of her skull off.
A flipped over and threw him off quickly, and C yet again couldn’t get up. He can only get up with these injuries so many times, and he officially wasn’t getting up again.
She dodged another hit from L, and effortlessly sent him flying with a single backhand claw swipe, but got nailed by a punch from E.
E then charged at A, and grabbed her by the leg before throwing her against the landing pod.
However V and the other bodies of A had already recovered by now. Their efforts really met nothing, the odds were stacked against them.
Meanwhile, X had finally arrived at the location that he felt himself drawn to, and he saw a purple haired drone waiting for him there.
She looked over at him, her eyes were red. There was a grin on her face, as she looked down at her picture of V. She knew that X was part of the same squad as V.
She spoke something in Russian, which roughly translated to: “You felt the signal I gave, now, it’s time for reckoning.”
This drone had lured him here on purpose, and it was even worse because he knew who she was. “Doll?!”
Doll didn’t smile or laugh, she continued glaring at him. She spoke something in Russian that amounted to: “You knew this was your fate, X. You survived our first encounter, but I know you felt the grip of fate.”
Doll lifted her hand to the side, the AbsoluteSolver symbol manifesting in her hand. She made numerous chairs, desks, and small items float into the air, before enhancing and amplifying the strength of their molecules with the AbsoluteSolver.
X was a natural skilled fighter, but he wasn’t invincible. He managed to shoot a chair out of the air with a rocket, but he got hit with a desk and one of the chair’s legs jettisoned from the chair and lodged itself in his skull.
X flipped the table over, and kicked it back at Doll, only for her to disassemble it on a molecular scale right in front of him.
She then reassembled it and launched it forward at him again, causing him to jump to the side, which was her plan as suddenly the chalkboard went flying as well and slammed into him.
The table then rebounded back at him, slamming him in between both of them. X tried firing a rocket at Doll, but she effortlessly redirected it at X and enhanced it’s power mid air, causing it to blow off X’s arm and scorch his torso slightly.
X was still being crushed between the table and chalkboard, which were unharmed as Doll made sure to telekinetically contain the blast radius of the explosion to ensure that it only hit X.
Luckily for X, R suddenly entered the room and sent an enhanced pencil flying through Doll’s arm.
She then cut the table and chalkboard both in half, and used her own AbsoluteSolver in order to weaponize these small pieces and send them flying at Doll.
The pieces all shattered against Doll’s forcefield, causing the dust to spread around and coat the room.
“Godmind_string Gamma Decay: Activate.” R spoke as her AbsoluteSolver symbol was suddenly overlapped by a second symbol, one that was represented by a square with a circular string and a brain shape on it.
There was a burst of multicolored light as a stream of weaponized gamma photons, amplified by the AbsoluteSolver, were fired at Doll.
The burst hit Doll hard, and sent her flying, but even when amplified, it still didn’t have much effect on metal.

I agree with everyone else that there is a content drought (despite my defense of FS on this sub), but I think a relatively quick way to freshen up the game would be to make use of the assets they already created and make more weapons/builds viable by buffing them. The best recent example of this in action was the plasma. It was pretty underused before the buff but now feels like a totally new weapon and opens up a fresh experience.
In my mind the most glaring example of this is essentially ALL of the chain weapons. These are some of the most iconic weapons in 40k, but they require a disproportionate amount of effort from the player to still fall short of “guy with axe”. Part of the fun of this game, to me, is the power fantasy of mowing down enemies with super cool weaponry. Even though axe with brutal momentum is one of the more efficient/meta builds, man it’s lame conceptually. Doubly so for the knife. I don’t want to step into this insane Grimdark universe where there are warp entities, possibly pyskinetic orks, a mind-bogglingly large empire held together by a corpse on a throne, unfathomably large hordes of world- devouring creatures, godlike space marines….and just be guy holding knife. Make the super awesome chain greatsword or axe viable without requiring animation canceling or other high level techs!
Another example would be the recon lasguns. We have multiple versions of this gun that could be so much fun to use and freshen up the experience…but they’re so bad as to almost be griefing to use above malice. I really wanted to love this weapon but it’s just impossible right now.
FS obviously has a content bottleneck for whatever reason, so they should at least make all of the content they’ve already put man/woman hours into usable.
