Hello!
I have been struggling with this problem for some time now (about 1 year), but it bothers me more and more every day.
So.
When I start a game, so the GPU gets a heavy load, I start to hear the coil whine in the headphones, the higher the load, the louder and more annoying it is, sometimes I can hear it clearly even with the game sound or with music playing in the background.
It also doesn't help if I limit the FPS, because it only helps 10-20% of the time, and it only makes things worse in the rest.
My headphones have a Jack plug that has a splitter so I can use the microphone on it. If I unplug the splitter and plug the headphones into the PC with only the main Jack plugged in, the coil whine will be quieter, but it can still be heard.
I used to use onboard Jack plugs, so I thought buying a sound card would fix the problem, but no.
I bought a Sound Blaster Z SE that works perfectly, it was an insanely good buy, but i can still hear the coil whine the same way. The sound card is as far away from the GPU as it can be.
I'm completely out of ideas, I've tried a lot of things I've seen on the internet.
Many people have said that the power supply is bad, but I also replaced it over time and the coil whine is the same.
I have a Seasonic FOCUS 750W Gold power supply which is brand new. I also returned my headphones as they were under warranty and got a brand new one, but that didn't help either. My headphones are an Asus ROG Delta Core

I checked this sub, Steam, PDX forums, CK Discord. Everyone seems to be planning multiplayer games as usual, and barely anyone talks about multiplayer being unplayable.
With my group, we tried to run a game of around 10 people on weekend. We started modded, and then we were cutting the mods down until we were playing just straigt vanilla. We did fresh saves too, and tried different hosts. We couldn't get the game to run for more than a few minutes before half the party desynced.
Is no one else having this? Since neither devs nor players talk about multiplayer being broken, is it just us?

And I thought this couldn't get more complicated. First the kidnaping, then the collar, then they remove it and put me in a better room. Now this "boy" and the paper note. I didn't even know people still used paper.
And why I have to deal with this shit? On the bright side of things, they didn't find my .22 custom made one shot pistol. It saved my ass too many times for me to lose it.
I try to pick up the boy. He is even lighter than I thought. His skin is pale like chalk. I can feel individual ribs.It feels like he has no muscle left. Just skin. I Put him on the bed. I look at his face. He is smilinging his sleep. Why is he smiling? Why is he here?

The projector suddenly turns on. I jump at the sudden sound of a hologram feed appearing in the room. There is a video playing. I wish I didn't look
On the video was the boy, in a gigantic room with scalpels, knifes, shovels, laser blasters, police batons, there was a surgical table, what looks like medival times torture machines. All of them were stained in Red crimson blood.
I see a klerket, with a knife in his claws. He is smiling. His smile is very unnerving. Maybe it's because he is a different race. Who knows.
I look down, where the klerket is looking. There were a lot of different shaped and sized chunks of human flesh. To the side I see a familiar silhouette: it's the boy. He is looking into the camera, forcefully smiling. I know it's forcefully because everything else tells me that he is in agonizing pain.
I started to look at the boy's body, to see what causes him this pain. I couldn't realize what was wrong, until I noticed: *** All but one finger, his right foot's toe were cut off.***
I can't believe what I see. This was madness. And the video didn't even start yet. Why the fuck would this klerket do this? Is this some kind of medical experiment? Why on the boy? Will they do this to me?
I press play against my better judgment. I wish I didn't.
The video feed starts. Klerket is revealed to have a rubber ball, similar to those you see in a Pet Shop. After clicking with its talons a few times, presumably to get the poor Boys attention, it throws it on the other side of the room.
The boy gets on his four and crowls to the other side. Each time he stops, the klerket counts backwards from 3. The boy nearly gets the ball back, but stops for a little before giving it to his master. Unfortunately, this was when the count reached zero.
The boy was thrown on the medical table, strapped to it, and gagged by a leather strip between his teeth. The klerket got neer the right foot. Instead of using his shiny sharp knife however, he reached for something out of view of the camera.
What he pulled out was a rusty saw. I hope he was Just moving it, or planned to use it on something else but the boy. I knew he would use it on him. What I didn't know is how loud the boy would cry.
Every time the saw would inch deeper and deeper into the boys Last finger, he would cry with new found desperation, through the leather strap that his teeth are buried in. The saw itself is doing a terrible job at cutting, which seems to add even more pain.
The saw reaches the bone, and the kid starts screaming even harder. I can see the bone itself on the camera, because of a large hole left by the deliberately inefficient tool.
I pause the footage. This is Just the first 5 minutes out of an hour long footage. "What the actual fuck is going on h…?" I throw up on the Floor.

I wake up. I am surprised that I am not dead. I thought master would kill me. Master did not. I feel different though. More rested? Energized? I never felt this good.

A while ago I made a post in this sub talking about how I've always wanted to be a singer because I grew up playing music and it was just something I felt like I was supposed to do.
However, I felt like I wasted my early 20s screwing around, doing other things I wasn't passionate about partly because I was scared to go after what I wanted; and partly because I was afraid of what my parents would say.
My mom always told me I'd never be successful doing art or playing music. She always said I didn't have what it takes to be a professional musician (as if she would know *eye roll*). My parents basically laughed at me every chance they got whenever I expressed what I wanted to do for a career.
I've reached a point in my adult life where I've come to a fork in the road, I've tried everything I've wanted to and it hasn't felt right. The only thing that's left is the one thing I've always been passionate about and dreamed of since I was around 8 years old.
So. I made a plan with my therapist about 2 months ago. I'm going to get my stuff in order here in my current city, work my ass off for the next half of the year to save up as much as I can; then pick up and move almost 3,000 miles away from my parents.
I'm already living on my own about an hour away from them, but the space isn't enough; I need more.
I used to be really spiritual, but I've taken about a 6 month break from all of that stuff; however, I feel like my intuition is guiding me to do this and for the first time in my adult life, I feel sure about a major life decision.

We've talked to death about Cam Whitmore, Taylor Hendricks, Jarace Walker, and Ausur Thompson but something we haven't really talked about much is the possibility of trading back.
The truth is... we've got our star players already, Cade was taking 1st overall for a reason, and he averaged 20, 6, and 6 while injured this season. Ivey finished last season averaging 20.7 points and 7.1 assists over the last 12 games shooting 38.6% from 3 on 6.8 attempts per game. Duren nearly averaged a double-double while playing most of his games off the bench and shooting less than 6 shots per game, if Duren was in this draft class like he was supposed to he would be a top 5 pick.
The point is that we don't need to take a high-risk, high-reward prospect. A case could be made that the #1 need we have is depth, not star power. The only players on a rookie contract after this upcoming season is Cade, Ivey, and Duren. Getting multiple 1st rounders to fill out the roster may be better than just having #5, considering the salary cap makes signing numerous quality role-players difficult (on top of having to pay a premium in order for them to play in Detroit).
All that being said, I'm gonna commit the cardinal sin of NBA Reddit: proposing a hypothetical trade. I'm gonna try to be as realistic as possible while trying to make a good trade for us. So, we may have to give up more than you or I would want in this trade but that's just how the NBA is, I mean... remember when we thought we we're gonna get #7 for Jerami Grant? Anyways, this is the trade...

This is presented as a 4-team trade, but it's easier to understand as 3 trades in a row.
Trade #1:
DET sends: Isaiah Livers, Best of NOP or POR 2026 2nd, Best of NYK or MIN 2026 2nd, pick #5
DET receives: Rudy Gay (Salary Dump), Simone Fontecchio (salary dump), #9, #16, and #28
Rationale: Again, we give up more than I think we probably should because that's just what tends to happen in the NBA. Both Rudy Gay and Simone's contracts are 1-year deals so we wouldn't take on any long-term salary and we wouldn't have to extend Livers who may want more than we are willing to give.
Livers could be a solid backup for the Jazz. The 2nds could be used by the Jazz in future draft day trades, which are gonna happen considering how many picks they have after the Mitchell and Gobert trades. The reason the Jazz trade up is to get that high-risk, high-reward player we don't need. Lauri Markannen has already broken out as an all-star, and Walker Kessler looks like a future DPOY in the making. #5 could be a solid co-star for those two. This trade will also save the Jazz money which they could use to sign role-players. The Jazz were a play-in team for most of the season and this trade will help them return to the playoffs more than not making this trade.
Trade #2:
DET sends: Best of MEM or WAS 2024 2nd, Best of GSW or WAS 2025 2nd.
DET receives: Richaun Holmes (Salary Dump), #24
Rationale: This is a generic salary dump, the Kings love 2nd round picks for some reason and for every draft they have a couple (like #38 and #54 in this draft). Richaun Holmes could be a mentor for Wiseman and Bagley, or he could take over as the backup center. The Holmes salary dump will save them $12,046,020, not drafting at #24 will save them $2,244,300. Overall, assuming they decline Dozier's option, they will have around $39 million in cap space which they could use to re-sign Barnes to a $15 million per year deal and sign Naz Reid to a $12 million per year deal, which will leave $12 million to give Sabonis as part of his extension similar to what the Pacers did with Turner's extension.
Trade #3:
DET sends: Bojan, Burks, #24, #28, #31
DET receives: Bertans (salary dump), McGee (salary dump), #10
Rationale: Okay, this is a lot more than I think we should have to give up but again it's in the interest of trying to create the most realistic deal possible. Bertans and McGee's contracts aren't THAT bad, Bertans only has $5 million guaranteed in 2024-25, and McGee is only getting paid $6 million that season. Bertans is also a good enough shooter to potentially be a backup.
For Dallas, they get a proper 3rd option in Bojan, a solid backup SG in Burks, and 3 picks in the perfect range to draft bigs which they desperately need. Getting 3 rookies will definitely help them salary-wise as they will likely have to pay Kyrie a max to keep him on the team, and 2 max contracts on a team are hard to work around.
Overview:
We would have to take on a few salary dumps, but we would still have $12,421,395 in cap space. With that cap space, we could still sign a player like Donte DiVincenzo this off-season. We could extend Stew for $12 million per year and still have around $39 million in cap space next season (assuming the cap rises at the same rate next year). With 6 players on rookie contracts, 2 solid role players on inexpensive deals, and $39 million in cap space we would have a lot of options for that money.
So, what do you think about moving down? Should we move down and try to focus on filling out the roster or should we stay at #5 and try our luck with a high-risk, high-reward prospect?

I first played in harvest, then skipped a few leauges then got back to it in Expedition. My league starters are always something that is good at mapping like corrupting fever+kinetic blast.
Each league I got further in the content and did it in less time, but each league I got bored with the farming and how each upgrade become exponentially more expensive, like 8div for an amulet, so I fatigued and faded out from the league.
But this league I killed both searing exarch and eater of the world SSF with subtractem’s flame dash elementalist, them migrated, got borned and eventually started a new one, Goratha’s lightning arrow.
Had immense fun with the built, spent time understanding its parts (something I normally dont have the patience), reached lvl 95 (highest level ever), farmed around 40div worth of stuff with legion but actually spent only 20div on gear, and the rest (but not all) was spent on invitations and fragments.
I took a good 2-3 weeks break as I got stucked with atziri due to the reflect and left with her amd the feared. I eventually bought carry for uber atziri, then managed to solo the feared, then I found a reddit post about sibyls ring and yugul pantheon and killed uber atziri first try as all reflected damage was eliminated, happily reaching my league goal of killing evey non uber bosses (including uber elder, and uber atziri, but exluding uber uber elder).
No real moral of the story here, just sharing my happies league ever!

Go full vanilla and use controller
I know it looks very simple yet this is very effective if you can pass the first hours of gamplay.

I love Skyrim as much as i love modded Skyrim, i've played it at least a 1000 hours on each version since the xbox360. When i first got a pc, i discovered the vast world of modding and it was a breeze of fresh air.
But here i am 12 years later spending hours and hours of downloading, instaling and troubleshooting mods, don't get me wrong i loved it and i learned a lot throughout the years. But i found mysefl not even playing the game even with a full 60fps bug/crash free expérience, and almost hating the way i don't enjoy it.
I know i could just "let it die" but i really want a last enjoyable playtrought before.
So after some time i tried to play it vanilla ( without the cc adition ) and i could see every flow every mod that could enhance my game in a minute. That was pain for the first 4-5 hours
But i just kept going for few more hours and to my surprise i found myself enjoying the sunrise and sunset, stoping and listening to the ambiance, the music. It felt like i just boot my 360 after a long day at school.
I had some urge to download UI mode, patch, texture but i knew that, if i open nexus, it's over.
I'm now a proud vanilla Nord who about to kick some vampires after finishing the main and guild quest.
For those who feel the same, you should give it a try and commit for a few hours. Also using a controller help a lot because it felt like casual and relaxing gaming.

The Founder and Owner of Outian Technologies, Glen U. Zautner, however was the first human to pass into the Trillionare status. With his newfound wealth he did what all mega wealthy men did, he started a space program Æthelwulf LLC, though his ambitions were beyond what the Billionaires of the 2020s could belief. He employed his AI technology and millions of men and women to craft a space station able to carry humanity not just to Mars but to the nearest livable planet in the TRAPPIST-1 System due to it harboring multiple habitable planets. Though even with all his advances in technology it appeared as though the journey would take 30,000 years with the state of the art ship he was creating and with a path specifically calculated by his AI. This is when he began to buy more corporations as the population speculated on what he was doing. His first purchase was a failing business known as Novromics Group a business that was attempting to use the newly manufactured brain/human interfaces to establish a virtual afterlife. Only a few years after his purchase the company turned around and brought in billions more to fuel his endeavor as almost every person began signing up for the extremely reasonable price to become immortal, though there were issues with the 'Heavens' being limited and over time the minds would grow distant to their former lives. Though at the same time he purchased Novromics Group He also purchased the gaming company Gremlin Inc after their 5th major open world release that has not only revolutionized the gaming industry but also logged more playtime hours than any other game in history "Broken Lands: Online" had captured the minds and imaginations of all the unemployed and destitute people of the world. His purchase came with next to unlimited funds, resources from his AI labs and computer industries along with another purchase of the Virtual Reality Company Honian Bionic Realities. Rybanks Cryogentics, Olive Branch Computing along with some of the most brilliant and creative minds the world had to offer were quickly snatched up by his overwhelming pay. Over the next 30 years he invested more and more of his trillions of dollars and with investments from others still seemed to shift the worlds economy to producing his ship and grand idea. In the year 2060 he released his grand plan, he was going to bring humanity out of this dying world. 10 million people would join him, his investors, specially chosen men and women with vast knowledges. Their were only 5 million slots able to be purchased at the staggering cost of 2 million a person, the rest were given out based on genetic information and a lottery. Those chosen would wear a large brain/mind attachment for 5 years as it uploaded and mimicked their brain patterns. They would be brought in constantly to special VR training areas to map out their minds and train them to live in this new world. Finally within one week of the launch date every participant was given a character creation menu and base information about the world they would be entering. A fantasy world crafted by the join ventures of the team at Gremlin Inc and Honian Bionic Realities, a world meant to challenge and let people stay entertained for years to come...but there was a catch...

Ok, first post here, so forgive me if i’m unaware of certain rules and such. I have been playing this game since Android beta back in 2016 i believe, and currently am at Ultimate Champion (1800+). What drives me mad every time is that i don’t get how a game like this with 100+ cards can get ruined by a community that only plays 4-6 decks every few seasons. I mean, i’ve been playing the same deck I personally created (with a few adjustments) since arena 4 and I’ve always found it entertaining because of the various interactions with other decks and cards, instead of the average matchup “2.6 hog vs logbait”. I don’t know if it is just me, but I’d love if the community experimented more with new synergies and archetypes, instead of just relying on the usual top players and copying their decks every new season. What do you think?

I'm trying to understand something and I wanted some life advice from older-bros who have been here before.
I'm 27, in a relationship with my bf (25m) for just over 8 months now. We'd been friends for just around a year before we started dating. I absolutely love hanging out with him, he's my person - and I know he feels the exact same way.
Each of us have our own group of friends that we enjoy hanging out with. I am okay with meeting mine once every 2 or 3 weeks. My bf on the other hand, has a ton of friends that he's with much more frequently. When he's not hanging out with his friends, he loves being alone in his room just doing his thing. This is great, don't get me wrong, I support him and want him to do whatever makes him happy BUT it leaves me in this place where I feel lonely more often than I'd want to.
I value my alone time a lot too, I love shopping alone, I watch TV, do my work, read, play video games, meet friends, and that was enough to keep me happy before we started dating. Now, though, I want him around a lot more than he currently is. Even if it is just over texts/calls, I want to interact with him in some way. Currently, we see each other about once a week, and exchange maybe a handful of texts throughout the day.
I've been trying to figure this out for a while now. Initially I thought I was being unhealthily clingy, I bought into that trope of "if you're not happy with yourself, you won't be happy with someone else", and started forcing myself to be alone more. That just made me more miserable. I know the way forward is to talk to him, but before I do, I need to understand if this is something I need to fix about myself or if this is a relationship-problem that we need to work on together.
I don't think I even understand what I expect out of a relationship. I know what we have currently is not enough for me, but I don't understand if that's an issue with me or with the relationship. I don't want to put undue stress on my partner if I'm the one that's being overly clingy. So I guess, the question is - what's a healthy amount of attention someone should expect from their partner?
