I just had my inverter coolant pump replaced on my 2004. I went to drive home and the triangle light came on, with a thermometer indicator in the upper left of the center display. Slowing down caused the triangle to go away.
I took it back to the repair person, and he said that they would recheck bleeding the lines. Also, later he said that it was a bit low on engine coolant, and topped it. He said that he then test drove without incident.
I live in the hills about 1500 ft above where it was repaired. The light came back on as I started heading up the hill. I stopped for a bit, and was able to keep it off most the way home by driving slowly (repair shop was already closed).
I can feel the new inverter pump vibrating, and there is "action" in the inverter coolant reservoir.
Does the temp indicator distinguish between inverter coolant and engine coolant? The radiator fan seems to kick on at startup.
I don't see any OBD codes thrown. Thanks.

I've had an issue with my truck intermittently not starting. Usually I can hear the starter solenoid click but it doesn't crank at all. After sitting for a few minutes and repeatedly pressing the start button it eventually starts until the other day when it didn't start and hasn't been able to since. I replaced the battery which didn't fix it, I used a Mutimeter to check that there was constant current to the starter solenoid feed and it came back good. I'm also assuming that the click that I hear when trying to start the truck indicates that the S terminal on the solenoid is receiving voltage when I press the ignition. I then pulled the starter out and hooked it up to a battery and it spins up fine. I'm at a loss for what to try next. From what I can tell there is no reason that it shouldn't be cranking when I push the start button. I've heard some people say that their starter bench tested fine but they still solved the issue with a new starter. I just don't want to go out and buy a new one if the problem is something else. Anyone have any ideas here?

So I finally upgraded from the laptop,. An envy with an i7-1165G7,. Has been a fantastic laptop. Lacked hard when I started gaming with no dedicated graphics card.. bought a PC. It's an omen 40L GT21-1024 got it at best buy for about $1500... It's an i7-13700 and a 3060ti. But anyway,. I want to do the pretty standard thing of adding more ssd(currently only 1tb) I'm pretty set on just adding a 990 pro 2tb in the open slot. Should I upgrade both ssds? Replace the current 1tb with 2, 2tb 990 pros? Should I upgrade the Ram. I see there's currently 2 Kingston Fury, totalling 16Gb. I've had no issues. Should I bother upgrading or leave alone. The real question I have. Does anyone, know what fans hp uses as "Standard" I love the look of the fans. I want to add 3 more, and specifically I want two of them to match the ones already on the front. I can add one without lights in the front where I won't see it. But I really want the two exhaust fans on top to match the two intake fans on the front. Any suggestions help. I appreciate if you read my post this far and of course. Have a blessed day.

Basically I might be taking a job that will have a 90 mile round trip commute through a major city (Houston). I've always been a firm believer that life is too short to drive boring cars- but I don't think my current line up would be great for commuting nearly 500 miles a week.
So what's something that can be fun to drive, but still get "decent" (as in 20+) mpg? Only comforts I care about are AC and radio. I'm open to a lot of brands except euros.
Currently in drive a 2010 Ford expedition EL, a 2004 ram 3500 dually, a 1993 Ford explorer (5spd, 4x4), and a 1964 Ford galaxie.
Not looking for anything new, don't want a car note. Budget will probably be 10-15k, I'd probably sell the expedition.

Hey, I'm looking to build my first pc for around 1500 canadian including 1 additional Monitor. It will mostly be used for gaming and I intend to get a third monitor (1440p) later on when my budget allows for it. I've read that the 5600/6700xt combo should be good with the factory fans, am I good without anything but fans that come with these parts? I also don't trust myself to go into overclocking.
Games I play for context:
Hades, Binding of isaac, Borderlands, Witcher, Fortnite, Dark souls, and Civ 6. I will probably be looking to play Elden Ring and Tiny Tina's once I have this pc set up.

Anyone have a bolt on exhaust system they like? I do welding and would totally make my own exhaust if I had the time but just want to put on an aftermarket bolt on system for now. I want to go bolt on incase I ever have to switch it out for emissions in AZ. Preferably if possible with valves because I don’t want the neighbors pissed 😂

I get bad frame drops even after watching at least 10 videos on my problem and nothing works it shouldn't be my hardware Ive never hit 1000 frame drops on the same internet with a realllly bad laptop and so I'm so confused on what my problem is my main guess is that its my wifi tho since i have 10 upload speed and my bitrate has to be 1500 to not get 10 frame drops every couple minutes or I guess maybe it could be my hardware but I have 1070 ti with i3-10100f with 16gbs of ram a decent motherboard with SSD but maybe its something in the settings that came with the newer version of obs I really don't know so please help

So i'm building my first pc.
I did a lot of research and decided to ask a few people for options and i got 5 builds back. I did comparisons and asked even more around. SO after this i think i've pretty much made a choice.

I have an 05 dodge ram 1500 (26 gal tank) someone drilled a hole in it and stole the gas out. Long story short I patched it and now that is leaking. So now that it’s summer I was gonna swap it. I didn’t think much of it found the closest place that had one for a 3rd gen, drove 3 hours to get it. Well I haven’t started the process but I was reading a little today and I am thinking there is a difference between the 2003 ram 1500 26 gal tank and the 05 I’m about to drop.. does anyone know if they’re compatible or at least can make it work? When I look up the tanks it looks like they 03-04 are one and 05-06 is a different one. It looks like mainly the lock ring part? But I would appreciate any input!

2023.06.08 23:10 Nameless_and_ignored The pain of a Lawbringer main after watching the July 8 Warrior's Den.

I'll be honest, those guys don't know what to do with Lawbringer, they gave him tools he don't need and ignored his necessities.
Lawbringer always struggles a lot from neutral for 3 reasons:

He cannot do ANYTHING against players who dodge rolls against him (massive issue in 4s, mainly after getting a revenge);
Lawbringer have 0 chain pressure after light attacks;
His foward dodge Shove is pretty much reactable to high level players and side dodge have 0 Iframes (unlike Shugoki and Conqueror for example).

I don't know why is so hard to give Lawbringer a foward dodge attack to chase players, is that really hard?
Since Lawbringer have 0 chain pressure after light attacks, why did they gave him triple light chains, to not be used? The ONLY 2 CHANGES he need:

Make every light attack 500ms and enhanced;
Give him Shove mix-up after any light, leading directly into his unblockable heavy pressure if he want to throw it.

Making Lawbringer able to throw these triple light chains is worthless and unviable, also it will change nothing on him from neutral, he will still be turtling a lot.
I'm aware of the Shove buff he might get, but again, if the Shove is going to be buffed, why even bother to give him triple lights, just to be more obnoxious in lower levels and less viable in higher levels? What are you on, Ubi?
Lawbringer were always broken in general for a couple of reasons:

His broken Guard break OOS punish that deals guaranteed 66 damage (which can be accessed after a Blind justice that leads the opponent to OOS status, potentially dealing 91 damage, probably the most broken damage in this game and the highest comeback potential in the game too);
Stamina damage, stamina pause and stun after any form of top heavies;
Impaling riposte, a move that guarantees ledges or 24 HP damage and 30 stamina damage + pause + stun;
Light riposte, a light that stuns the opponent and leads them to guess what will Lawbringer do next (a 400ms top chain light or 500ms side lights, impossible to react to... at least to most players).

His stamina damage, stamina pause and stuns were addressed (THANK GOD) and looking at those weird damage values Lawbringer now has, it looks like the obsessive and broken OOS GB punish is also gone (THANK GOD 2X), but they transformed his moveset into something he was never supposed to have:

A feintable chain bash (literally no one asked for this, literally no one);
Hyper armor on chain heavies (aren't Lawbringer supposed to parry dodge attacks instead of trading damage since... he guarantees 30 damage top heavies or Guard break that also guarantee a heavy opener? Also his chain heavies are dealing 20 damage so... what are you on, Ubi?);
Vortexable 30 damage unblockable finishers (instead of keeping the unreactable chain bash mix-up on Lawbringer after heavies and lights like I suggested, they gave him this infinite for some reason);
Impaling riposte now only guaranteed after a light parry (in my opinion the Impaling riposte should be REMOVED from the game and the impaling charge should be a 600ms unblockable bash just like Crashing charge or Stampede charge, guaranteeing a top heavy after reaching the wall, Lawbringer should never had Impaling riposte, this move is busted even after light parries, it still leading to ledges in duels and still useless in ganks/anti-ganks, the use is very limited so... why even bother to keep this? Remove it, use Blind justice on light parries please).

Last, but not least, Zone attack and Long arm changes:
For some reason they gave him a chain starter zone attacks... this is one of the biggest issues, why does Lawbringer needs that? Zone was used as a keep-out tool, you should not attack Lawbringer after throwing a zone, you would have to wait and approach by walking.
The only 2 buffs his zone attack need is:

Buff the speed to 600ms (from 700ms, 700ms is too slow) but with short recoveries, allowing him to react to things;
Reduce it's stamina cost to 30 (from 60, 60 is too high).

I don't know why they simply ignored Make way, do they even know this move exist? Buff it's speed to 600ms too and reduce the stamina cost to 30.
They kept Lawbringer's Long arm 1000ms instead of making it 900ms like any other long pin Ganking tool, not just that but they removed it from Guard break while making it's damage absurdly high by guaranteeing something like 28 damage from a top heavy opener + Swift justice combo tap.
This move becomes even more unviable by doing that, not only might trigger the third hitstun way more often but also makes Lawbringer vulnerable to attacks AND feeds a lot more of revenge, but I know how to fix that:

Buff Long arm to 900ms (from 1000ms);
Give Lawbringer an special guaranteed heavy follow-up that deals 25 damage, leading to his chain Shove mix-up (or heavy / enhanced lights) pressure;
Give back Long arm on GB.

My honest thoughts about Lawbringer:
I'm not a fan of those changes, I'm hating those changes (except the stamina damage, stamina pause and stun changes), this new Testing Grounds will literally be the same thing but less broken, they didn't addressed any of Lawbringer's main issues and makes him stronger in things he was already good at, I don't get it, if the TG don't change anything about his actual state, why is this TG a thing?
I really wanna read your opinion, guys, share your thoughts with me, please.

2023.06.08 23:09 Nameless_and_ignored The pain of a Lawbringer main after watching the July 8 Warrior's Den.

I'll be honest, those guys don't know what to do with Lawbringer, they gave him tools he don't need and ignored his necessities.
Lawbringer always struggles a lot from neutral for 3 reasons:

He cannot do ANYTHING against players who dodge rolls against him (massive issue in 4s, mainly after getting a revenge);
Lawbringer have 0 chain pressure after light attacks;
His foward dodge Shove is pretty much reactable to high level players and side dodge have 0 Iframes (unlike Shugoki and Conqueror for example).

Make every light attack 500ms and enhanced;
Give him Shove mix-up after any light, leading directly into his unblockable heavy pressure if he want to throw it.

His broken Guard break OOS punish that deals guaranteed 66 damage (which can be accessed after a Blind justice that leads the opponent to OOS status, potentially dealing 91 damage, probably the most broken damage in this game and the highest comeback potential in the game too);
Stamina damage, stamina pause and stun after any form of top heavies;
Impaling riposte, a move that guarantees ledges or 24 HP damage and 30 stamina damage + pause + stun;
Light riposte, a light that stuns the opponent and leads them to guess what will Lawbringer do next (a 400ms top chain light or 500ms side lights, impossible to react to... at least to most players).

A feintable chain bash (literally no one asked for this, literally no one);
Hyper armor on chain heavies (aren't Lawbringer supposed to parry dodge attacks instead of trading damage since... he guarantees 30 damage top heavies or Guard break that also guarantee a heavy opener? Also his chain heavies are dealing 20 damage so... what are you on, Ubi?);
Vortexable 30 damage unblockable finishers (instead of keeping the unreactable chain bash mix-up on Lawbringer after heavies and lights like I suggested, they gave him this infinite for some reason);
Impaling riposte now only guaranteed after a light parry (in my opinion the Impaling riposte should be REMOVED from the game and the impaling charge should be a 600ms unblockable bash just like Crashing charge or Stampede charge, guaranteeing a top heavy after reaching the wall, Lawbringer should never had Impaling riposte, this move is busted even after light parries, it still leading to ledges in duels and still useless in ganks/anti-ganks, the use is very limited so... why even bother to keep this? Remove it, use Blind justice on light parries please).

Buff the speed to 600ms (from 700ms, 700ms is too slow) but with short recoveries, allowing him to react to things;
Reduce it's stamina cost to 30 (from 60, 60 is too high).

Buff Long arm to 900ms (from 1000ms);
Give Lawbringer an special guaranteed heavy follow-up that deals 25 damage, leading to his chain Shove mix-up (or heavy / enhanced lights) pressure;
Give back Long arm on GB.

I have a charger that has been driven once a month max to the corner store less than a mile away. Vehicle is old and unreliable for anything more than light local city driving, so it’s been a secondary vehicle for me that just wasn’t worth trying to sell.
All that to say, fca is and has long been desperate to get me to fix this recall that I’ve never really worried about bc I don’t drive the car. Fast forward to today; I get this in the mail.
Not only are they willing to come to me and fix for FREE, but they will also send me a $100 prepaid MasterCard for defusing the landmine of liability that is my airbag.
My question is: does this imply there is upside to continuing my holdout? How high might they go to get this dealt with? Any precedents or guidance I should consider?
I’d be a happy camper with $100 and a brand new airbag — but my business sense is tingling. If nothing jumps off the page, I’ll just take em up on this offer and gladly so. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

(Note: you can always modify them for whatever you're looking for; Default Settings are according to my personal preferences and what I consider "optimal" based on experience; Raid DPS Priorities: Attack >>> Stamina > Defense [Def is close to irrelevant])

≥96% (Atk = 15, HP ≥ 14) / +15/12/15
≥93% (Atk ≥ 14, HP ≥ 14) / +15/10/15,15/15/13,15/14/13
≥91% (Atk ≥ 14, HP ≥ 13) / +15/11/14,15/09/15 Default Language: English – don't forget to change it if necessary!

TRASH STRINGS (Very useful for quickly mass-transferring surely bad-IV Axew): => Open «Advanced:» => Trash String: ✅

GENERAL IV% Search Strings (utilising Attribute Appraisals):

Misc. Search Strings Project => General “Hard” IV Filters NOTES: – For Casuals, I recommend to save the 5th or 6th Set of Strings ("≥96% (…)"). – For Dedicated Trainers, I recommend to save the 3rd Set of Strings ("≥98/96% (saving 15Atk)"). – For Mass transferring Pokémon, maybe consider grabbing a Trash String from 1 or 2 set(s) below the Positive String you're interested in. But that depends on personal preferences (plus, there's nothing to do about the Gap between "≥96%" and "≥82%" due to limitations) – For Events where only one Pokémon is featured, I recommend using PvPIVs Raid/Hatch Search Strings instead (see above) since they're significantly more specific

RAID Breakdown

(Including Shadow Pokémon)
Breaking Swipe is a pretty strong Dragon Type Move and manages to raise Haxorus' DPS by about 2 Percent Points (acc. to Poke Genie) in Raid and Gym Fights. Haxorus is a DPS BEAST; Against Palkia, it ranks 7th, 4th without Shadows and 2nd when also excluding Mega Evolutions, standing pretty closely behind Rayquaza, even beating Salamence by quite a bit!
=> I highly recommend even aiming for a full Team of 6!

PvP Breakdown

Breaking Swipe is also highly recommended to aim for in PvP as well. Haxorus is a good candidate for Great, great in the Master League and also considerable in some Ultra League Cups.
Overall PvP Ranks of +Haxorus (based on PvPoke.com "610,611,612"): - Master League: #34 or #13 (with or without Legendaries) - Ultra League: #106 / #308 (Fraxure) - Great League: #53 / #239 (Fraxure) / #819 (Axew) - Little League: #660 / #364 (Fraxure) / #737 (Axew)
Dragon Type Specific PvP Ranks of Haxorus (based on PvPoke.com "Dragon"): - Master League: #11 or #3 (with or without Legendaries) - Ultra League: #8 / (…) - Great League: #4 / (…) - Little League: (too low)
Please Note: For Rankings, PvPoke is currently considering a total of 848 Pokémon in GL, 621 in UL, 519 in ML and 1148 for LL. Everything below Ranks 424/310/259/574 is below 50% and far from being somewhat relevant.

TRASH STRINGS (Very useful for quickly mass-transferring surely bad-PvP-IV Axew): => Open «Advanced:» => Trash String: ✅ ⚠️ As long as you don't enter some ML Ranks (10~25), you may also "Trash" High IV% Pokémon; Please always check for and save Good IV ones first before using a PvP Trash String OR combine two different Trash Strings (see below) to save either

GENERAL PvP Candidates Search String:

Misc. Search Strings Project => PvP Candidates Allround String NOTES: – This monster of a String takes care of (almost) every IV Combination that may reach mid to lower 2-digit PvP IV Ranks with quite a high number of False Positives while also avoiding Pokémon that are said to have a high «Lucky Trade Priority» – Even though this String is already pretty solid with about 85~90% True Negatives; For events that only feature one single Pokémon, it's highly recommended to instead use Pokémon-specific PvP IV Search Strings as shared ^above

Combine 2+ Trash Strings

To combine your IV% Trash String with your PvPIVs Trash String, all you need to do is to put an «&» in between. This works because you want to get all Pokémon that are both [not high in IV%] AND [not good PvP Candidates]. Note: This doesn't work for the Positive Strings (Atk can't be low and high at the same time)
Please also consider adding some more filters to your Trash String(s) covering some other Characteristics you may want to keep (for collections, for Trading or whatever); Examples:
Save xxs, xxl, Shiny, 0%: &!xxl&!xxs&!Shiny&1-attack,1-defense,1-hp

Hi everyone,

Just a post to get some opinions and different perspectives in regards to buying a gaming laptop over a gaming desktop.
My budget is around £1500 (some room for changing depending on the decided option)

My current setup is:
Average business Laptop (HP Pavilion, 8GB RAM, integrated graphics, etc) bought about 6 years ago

Some options I've considered:

Option 1
Buy gaming laptop (for programming and playing games with mods + for general use)
Buy Series X for couch gaming?

Option 2
Buy prebuilt gaming desktop
Buy Series X for couch gaming?

Option 3
Buy gaming desktop
Buy cheaper more updated laptop (for programming, playing GTA 5 with mods, etc)
Buy Series X for couch gaming?

Option 4
Buy a smaller gaming pc (although not sure carrying a monitor around when needed will be convenient/realistic :D)
Buy a Series X for couch gaming?

I appreciate that ultimately it's based on my requirements and it's up to me (there's probably not a wrong answer)
